The statistics tell us that Molineux has become a League One fortress.

But a 100% home record has certainly covered the cracks of two flimsy performances.
Since battering Gillingham, Wolves have twice played second fiddle on their own patch, conjuring results they’ve scarcely deserved. It can’t continue.
Midfield is the problem.
They let Crawley and Swindon hassle them into surrendering possession cheaply. And when the opposition had the ball, they didn’t do enough to disrupt their rhythm.
If they don’t want their pants pulled down by Walsall tomorrow night, at least one of these issues must be resolved.
Walsall
Victory in the JPT over our neighbours was another close call. After being dominated in the early exchanges they eventually clawed us back and began causing problems.
They’ll be well up for this. Little will be expected from them and they know the pressure is on Wolves to come out win the game.
Aside from a 3-0 home defeat to Preston, the Saddlers have enjoyed a solid start. Having dispatched Crewe at the weekend by the same scoreline, they arrive at Molineux in good shape. A win could take them back into the top six breathing right down our necks.
Craig Westcarr scored twice at the weekend and if Walsall create as many chances as Swindon did, an in form striker might well be the difference. Ashely Hemming is another to watch. He scored in the JPT defeat and will be keen to heap more misery on his former employers.
Wolves
I thought Kenny Jackett got both the team selection and shape of the side wrong on Saturday. You might point to the result, but anyone who watched the game will know we were too open without the ball and too disjointed on it. Therefore this is the team I hope he plays tomorrow:

There seems to be an acceptance that Davis must play because he’s the only holding player we have on the books. I disagree. Based on Saturday and the Crawley game, I didn’t see enough blocking or tackles to justify this argument. Additionally, his distribution was appalling and he didn’t cover nearly enough ground.
I’d shift Evans into the middle, ask him to sit deeper and just look after the ball. Take Davis out the firing line for a game. Evans was wasted down the right against Swindon. Ismail was lightweight when he came on, but his presence at least helps us get on the front foot.
If Kenny wants to further freshen things up, he might also consider giving Siggy a game at the expense of Doyle or Griffiths. But I’d probably maintain the status quo. I thought their link up play for Doyle’s goal was impressive and Griffiths is always a threat, even when he’s squandering chances like he did at the weekend.
The odds
Wolves are favourites to win again at 4/6. A Walsall victory is a generous 4/1, while the draw is also good value at 14/5.
If you back Wolves to be winning at half time, but the game to eventually end in a draw you can get 14/1 odds, which seems a good bet based on how recent home performances have played out.
No surprise Leigh Griffiths is favourite to open the scoring at 10/3. Craig Westcarr is 8/1 to continue his recent good form.
All odds are available from here.
Predictions
The combination of optimism and sweet, sweet victory continues to provide an avalanche of PL points.
81 people thought we’d beat Swindon at the weekend and 9 of them got the 3-2 scoreline spot on to double up.
Hats off to Chris in Dublin, Hamlet, sleachy, SG Wolf, DealWolf, Wight Wolf, PeakWolf, Erick1011 and SOIAW.
We’re into serious heart versus head territory now.
Logically Wolves can’t keep winning and if they’re going to come a cropper, a local derby against in-form rivals seems as good an opportunity as any to slip up.
However, I think we’re due a better home performance than we’ve seen of late and I think we’ll score more than once.
So, I’ll go for a hopeful 2-1.
Up The Wolves.

The last thing I’d want is to have my pants pulled down by Walsall! On that basis, I’ll opt for a solid 2-0 win.
Can’t bring myself to predict defeat against a rival so – 2-1 win!
Last time we played them we had a couple of stars rested. I think we shud do better. Wolves win 3-1.
I’d like to see a 4-2-3-1 Evans and McDonald in midfield with Doyle in the No.10 role, Siggy Griffiths and Sako up front. I don’t think we have out and out wingers to play 4-4-2. We have to control midfield better and hopefully taking the game to the opposition would help us do that.
Walsall will be up for this game big time so we need to come out all guns blazing and, hopefully, get a couple of early goals otherwise I fear that we may well get ‘caught with our pants down’ if Walsall apply the sort of pressure they are capable of – Our luck at the back can only last so long and, if we don’t ‘up our game’ quickly then some team is going to turn us over.
My prediction is a close, tight game, with lots of chances at both ends but a 2-1 win.
We will definitely be looking to dominate this game. We’ve played some entertaining stuff, but this is a young team who will have their ups and downs. So far we have come through them well.
I think Siggy will start, Kenny won’t want us to have too many tired legs and every time he plays he has an impact. I think we will go with a midfield three, possibly Foley too but I can’t see Davis being dropped after being back on the club website.
We have a lot of options which is a great thing!
3-0 Wolves
Totally with you on this one, Louie. Sigurdarson in for Doyle, Foley in for Ismail and Davis for Evans as changes to the line-up suggested above.
And a predicted Wolves 3 Walsall 0.
Someone agreed with me, I’m not used to this! 😉
I think Siggy for Doyle/Griffiths, Foley for either a central midfielder or Doherty and I can see Stearman being brought back in too.
The diamond might be fine away from home but we should be in charge at the Mol. Play 442.
2-0 wolves.
Would rather see Price in with McDonald. I thought Davis and Evans were dreadful on Saturday. I also didn’t know quite where Sako was supposed to be playing. With Walsall winning 3-0 at the weekend, it’s all set up for them to beat us. And to be honest I think we might need to lose one now to improve in the long term.
Wolves 0-2 Walsall
I think kj will change it a little and we’ll nick it. Wolves 1 walsall 0
Wolves 4 Walsall 0
Foley for Davis perhaps?
Ziggy for Doyle?
it would be interesting, but risky, to see Evans and McD together in midfield.
Going 3 – 0 to the mighty Wolves
Another tough game, I’m going for a 2-2 draw
Close game I think can see it going either way so I’m going for a 1-1 draw
I’ll echo Thomas and plump for a hopeful 2-1 to Wolves.
Kenny seems sensible enough, so hopefully he can also see where we have under-performed recently and will try to make some changes to the midfield for the better.
Wolves 3-1 Walsall
Wolves 3 -1 Walsall and hopefully a stress free last 10 minutes
Do we actually do a ‘stress-free last 10 minutes’ lol?
Gonna be a real toughie, this one, so I will predict a nail biting hard fought 5 – 1 win to the lads!!
I am smiling once again Clive. I love your optimism, even though at times it may appear a tad wayward.
It has to be a clean sheet – we are overdue one. So ………………… Wolves 5 Walsall 0
4-1 to us.
It’s Wallsall, for Christ’s sakes.
2-0 win and we go top of the league!
I was crying out for Foley on Saturday, which was a first pleased he did well and I think he should start along with Siggy. Davis must be rested.
3- 2 to us
OK, so Saturday’s performance was poor and the number of late goals we’ve been letting in lately is worrying, but I still feel optimistic about this one. Wolves to win 2 -1.
2-1 Wolves. We keep predicting wins, we’ll keep getting them. I hope.
A very entertaining game in prospect – Wolves 5 Walsall 4 – enjoy.
3-1 Wolves I hope…
I don`t want another squeaky bum last five minutes and win by the odd goal. We can score goals for fun so I`m calling a 4-1 win. It will be interesting to see what midfield formation Kenny picks, as don’t think our close neighbours have any too many premiership
academy loanees in their squad – hence it should be a bit easier for us tomorrow night.
Ive shat better diamonds than the one we had in midfield on saturday. Kenny to go back to 442 and the score will be wolves 1 walsall 0.
We have to loose sometime, but not tonight. I’m backing Griffiths and Doyle to do the damage. Wolves 2 Walsall 0.
Definitely not tonight! The anticipations killing me.
Thomas’ post re-me and Clive
“Why don’t both of you agree to not reply to each other’s comments?
Clive: You’ve been around here long enough to know that calling another commenter a prick isn’t going to fly. That’s really the only rule I lay down. Direct your scorn towards Sandwell and overpaid executives please.
Kevin: Bad language isn’t forbidden on this forum (unless it’s directed at a fellow blogger). As I say, just ignore Clive’s comments if they offend you so.”
Calling another commentor a prick HAS flown. Calling me a fucking twat has flown. Telling me to fuck off has flown. Calling Albion the shite has flown. And will continue to fly while you allow it, Thomas.
It’s your blog and you make the calls, Thomas. In my opinion allowing obscenity is a mistake.
I wouldn’t ignore it in public, I won’t ignore it here.
Therefore regretfully, because Thomas you clearly put a huge amount of work into this blog and I salute you for it, I have flown.
Unlike pfredepferde I won’t be back, unless a new policy is enforced.
I must say that I agree with you Kevin about Clive’s language. I discovered this blog last season and generally really enjoy it and for a while I came on here a lot but, I admit, didn’t post very much. I have however found Clive’s language offensive at times and that has caused me to not read the blog’s posts so much. I don’t think there’s any need to use such offensive language.
As Clive is the most amusing ‘Poster’ I forgive any so ‘called offensive language’.
Kevin & Wolfman you should live and let live.
We all have our own eyes to see through and being ‘offended’ is a relative state.
I’ve never understood people who don’t like swearing. You choose to be offended by them, and in doing so make your own day worse. The person who swore isn’t likely to feel half as upset as you are, so you’re only really affecting yourself with negativity.
Folk who complain about swearing in football confuse me even more. If you choose to be offended by swear words there is the family enclosure and the E&S blog. However, censorship inherently makes things duller, which is why people are drawn to the more interesting and outspoken places.
Kevin, you talk a lot of sense and seem to have the uncommon ability of thinking for yourself and seeing things in a different light to others. Take Clive with a pinch of salt, he’s only playing, don’t bite you’ll only feed the troll.
Clive is, potty mouth or not, one of the most entertaining and consistent commentators on here. Sometimes if I’ve not checked in a day or two, and there’s 60/70 comments, i’ll skip through but will usually find time to read Clive’s as they are often fairly entertaining.
If Thomas were to start banning swearing, deleting comments containing obscenities, blocking certain people from the site etc it wouldn’t be long before the kaleidoscope of opinions which lifts this site head and shoulders above any other Wolves content out there became as monochrome and tawdry as the lesser forums out there.
So please, Thomas keep things as they are.
Kevin, learn to deal with the fact that some people swear, and continue to add your erudite opinions to the blog.
And Clive, play nicely.
Now all say Up The Wolves and let that be the end of it.
Up The Wolves
The second sentence would make more sense if it said something like:
Those who choose to be offended by swearing do so of their own volition, and in doing so succeed only in making their own day a little worse.
Excellent post, Sleachy.
My wife always says I have no filters, and at my advanced age, I make no apologies.
However, if anyone takes the time to peruse back through old blogs on this site from several years ago you will find clockwork mice mentioned, several times.
I like to think of myself winding them all up, and then seeing how they go off!!!
The only people I will knowingly and unreservedly insult and deride on this blog are those who have no business being here, i.e. shit fans.
If anyone gets upset and offended by everyday swearwords, then so be it, I write as I speak, so get over yourselves.
The great thing is we are all united by a common cause, Wolverhampton Wanderers, and long may we be together.
Changing the subject completely, the christmas stuff will be in the stores here very soon, so may I be the first to wish y’all a Merry Christmas!!
They got some eggs on sale here now, and I assume they must have them in England, called Cadbury’s Screme Eggs, and the insides are green.
YUMMEEEE!!!!
Extremely well put Sleachy.
Can I vote for you as P.M.?
You speak more sense than any Politician!
too many skellingtons in the old closet i’m afraid mate. i’d last about 5 minutes and my poor mother would never cope if she read what any decent hack could find out about me after an afternoon’s digging…
Know the feeling mate!
Not sure when Mcdonald and Evans play together in central midfield they will get a foot in , even when Evans was put in a central position on Saturday I think the game still passed him by.
Davies had a poor game, but may be the better choice for a holding midfielder and breaking up their play.
Also think the central defence has become a problem, due to accommodating Golbourne; who occupies the position which in my opinion is best suited for Ricketts.
Hope we go back to a 442, and up our game.
Wolves to win 2-1
I think we have ridden our luck a bit too much recently and fancy Walsall to get a point.
2-2 for me.
I fancy us to turn it on tomorrow night and give walsall a hiding, 4-0 with griffiths bagging at least a couple.
Well written blog once again Thomas, My optimism is growing. This is Walsall’s cup final they’ll be right up for this, That said on paper we’re a better side and I still think we’ll get over the line in this one.
It’ll be a tight game and I’m going for Wolves 2 – 0 Walsall, With our second coming late on, Onwards and upwards.
I can see this as another possible banana skin, but I think it will be 3-1 to the boys in gold.
Wolves 1 Walsall 0
Sad to hear Kevin Porter’s comments above; don’t leave the blog Kevin, you talk a lot of sense without resorting to abuse of fellow supporters, which is to your credit.
We will carry on winning 3-0
I think we will carry on winning, 2-1 to the Wolves.
Going for a 2-1 win again but hoping that we don’t slip up here as Walsall have been getting good results & will want 2 win this.
Would like to see Siggy replace Doyle & hoping we don’t let our guard down in last few mins.
Gonna go for a draw. Our luck has to run out eventually. 1-1
Tough call this one. We ain’t playing well by any stretch of the imagination but I think the local Derby at home might just lift the lads performance. I’ll go for Wolves 3 Walsall 1on the night.
1-1 for me please.
I completely agree with your write up above Tom. Davis needs to be taken out of the spotlight as he can’t seem to do much right at the minute.
We seem a little short of options with no more signings after Golbourne and I can’t help but feel that Walsall will be more up for it than the cup tie.
Be safe and enjoy the game everybody
Great blog Thomas. Seeing as I rarely get to a game, its good to get a measured and accurate report on the games. Thank you.
Wolves 3 Walsall 1.
Glad I’ve managed to get a connection in Kefallonia (must be a film in that?!) to put a prediction forward. Tricky again……the winning streak will end at some point and I wouldn’t be surprised at a 2-2 repeat, with defensive vulnerabilities and scoring flair evening out. But a stronger team than in the JPT and lessons hopefully learnt from Saturday, I too will go for a 2-1 win for Wolves.
Reading this again, I can see that the wrong score might be picked out in a quick survey of predictions, so just to be clear – Wolves 2 Walsall 1. I hope!!
I’d like to see Siggy given a start, Doyle scored on Saturday but looked laboured. Agree 100% on the midfield, but let’s not scapegoat Davies, he wasn’t the only one. Goals both ends tomorrow. 2-2
Feeling a bit less confident 1-1.
Afraid I think our luck runs out tomorrow and we get turned over 2-1.
Hope I’m wrong as I’m going for the first time this season tomorrow.
Can’t remember the last time Walsall beat us,i’m sure someone will let me know.
I’m gonna go with another win 2-0.UTW
It’s oft said, winning your games when not playing well is the signature of champions. Based on that premise,Wolves should run away with this league! They will get better. The youngsters have only been used to the odd game here and there and now they’re the big cheeses and play every match.I agree with an earlier post; the JPT was just that;this is the real stuff, the league and as such KJ will have a more focused side.I’ll go for a good Wolves win.
Wolves 3 Walsall 1
Yes, we are in League one, but Walsall ! With all respect to their abilty every season to be re-elected to the Third Division South, Wolves will beat them more easily this time than in the Paint Cup.
Wolves 3 Saddlers 0
It’s about time for a home game where we perform well and I predict a clean sheet.
Wolves 2 Warsaw 0
; )
Another win?
Wolves 2-0 Walsall
Going off our last performance vs Walsall in the JPT, with a strengthened starting line up I don’t think there’ll be too many problems.
Wolves 2-0 Walsall
Was it just a bad day at the office or do we have some tactical and positional problems to sort out? If we put in a third poor performance at home then I would suggest KJ has to rethink his strategy. However an improved performance might just provide evidence that it’s still early days and the team are still learning how to play in support of each other. Win or draw? I can’t make my mind up but must adopt the same positive mind set that I expect of the team so going with 2-1 to Wolves.
Davis & Evans in midfield are struggling, & McDonald added to the mix seems to have impacted on these youngsters’ play.
I’d like to see Foley on the right to give us added composure & tackling back cover. With Sako in the side there has to be some thought given to a more robust defensive option.
Davis should be kept in as getting back in the saddle after falling off your bike is key for his development as a player. I’d also rather see Ricketts at left back & Stearman in the middle with Batth.
I would not change the front two as Doyle & Griffiths are our main threats. Its tough on Siggy & I’d like to see him on the right, but with Sako on the other wing we’re too exposed.
I just hope we press more, and move up the defence & midfield. Is it a question of our fitness? Other sides do seem to press & offer support to the player on the ball more than we do.
On Saturday Swindon looked as if they had 5 more players on the pitch than we did.
Agree that we keep the back four and front two as they are, but change midfield.
I’d drop Davis. I’m not convinced by him and he’s been poor this season. Keep Sako and McDonald. I like Evans and Ismail and think Foley deserves his chance too – so any 2 from these 3.
Looking for an improved performance.
Prediction: Wolves 3 Walsall 1
Thomas .. agree with you on Davis. Pretty nervous on Sat. Would like to see Foley on right side midfield. Giving a bit of protection for Doherty. Still prefer Doyle and Griffiths up top. Luck is about to run out tho tomorrow ..Wolves 1-2 Walsall
It’s gotta end sometime, apparently.
Arsenal went a season unbeaten recently. Proud Preston also achieved an Invincible season, albeit one or two seasons earlier (or three or four!).
What’s wrong with dreaming?
Assuming we beat the Saddlers, it’s hard to imagine either Salop or the Blades (on current form at least) taking many points off us.
Of course, having been a Wolves fan since the days of Mr Bull I know better than to think for a moment we’ll have a heart attack free season, but I don’t foresee any palpitations this week.
3-1 to the Wanderers
Up The Wolves
Hope we have leaned some lessons from Walsall , Crawley and Swindon games. Really should be able to get the occasional clean sheet.
Wolves 2 – Walsall 0
Can’t keep riding our luck and six wins on the bounce does not happen often so I’m going 2_2
Wolves 3 – 1 Walsall. Working purely on the theory of playing poorly but scoring freely.
2-0 to us. Shut Out
Wolves 2 Walsall 1
4-2 to us if we keep it tight in midfield and press. We will concede a couple but I fancy us scoring more!
My gut feeling that Swindon would beat us last Saturday thankfully did not happen, though who knows how!
🙂
I have no such feeling about Walsall though a local derby often throws form out of the window.
Wolves 3 – 0 Walsall
Doyle, Davis and Griffiths to bag the goals.
I think Davis will play tonight and put his poor display on Saturday to bed with a dominating, string pulling virtuoso display, topped off with a goal 🙂
Onwards and Upwards !
Never thought I’d say this, but I’d prefer Stears to be starting to your line-up, Thomas!
We can’t keep winning for ever, but we’re better than they are. Wolves 1-0 Saddlers.
Chris
These average performances churning out wins cannot continue, so Wolves to win 4-1 ( Doyle 2, Sako 1, and Griffiths 1)
Wolves 2 – 2 Walsall
Staying optimistic
Wolves 2 Walsall 0
I think Edwards and Siggy may well feature in this one. We need to win more balls in the air for Griffiths who i thought only missed one real chance on Saturday. With the right support he’ll keep scoring imo.
Walsall have an excellent away record but i’m going for another 3 points, 2-1.
Ever the optimist, I shall predict another win. Fancy a goal fest so 4-3 to the wolves for me please Thomas
Ricketts, Sako, Evans, Griffiths with the goals
UTW
Any local derby is going to be tight and I can see a draw but optimism rules at the moment so…
Wolves 2 Walsall 1
Strangely i felt a bit sorry for Stearman being dropped against Swindon but with both Ricketts and Golbourne being KJ signings this was probably only a matter of time. The midfield is definitely a cause for concern and appears a bit unbalanced without an out-and-out ballwinner. Davis is clearly struggling while both Evans and McDonald have looked good so far. Perhaps an oppurtunity to try Foley in that position?
i would also like to see Siggy get more time on the pitch. Everytime he comes on we look a much better team. He is more consistent than both Sako and Ismail and doesn’t deserve to be benched IMO.
UTW.
A new bloke presented himself in the last wolves u-21 match. His name is Eusabio Bancessi and plays on the wing. Quote: “The game was played at Hartlepool’s Victoria Park and it was the visitors that made the early running with Portuguese youngster Eusabio Bancessi giving the Boro defence the run around on his debut with some dazzling wing play.” Forde did also impress and scored a goal where he combined with the mentioned Eusabio (http://www.wolves.co.uk/news/article/under-21s-v-middlesbrough-170913-1059328.aspx).
Wolves 2 – 2 Walsall
If we play like we did in our last 2 home games, I cant imagine our luck holding out, but we are always good for a goal or two
OK so we didn’t get beat at the weekend as I predicted, but we are pushing our luck for sure, so given I dont mind losing the PL here as long as we go up I will continue. We will score, so will they, but we need a kick up the backside and they will provide de-bagging in the process (thanks Thomas)
Wolves 2-3 Walsall
Back from Festival No6 and have just finished scraping the mud off the present Mrs DG’er.
Had a superb few days, beautiful setting, great music, excellent splosh and some very decent weed.
All topped off by managing to blag Johnny Marr’s set list from one of the security men in front of the main stage.
Oh! Yes! And three points for the lads on Saturday.
I see another three points heading our way tonight.
On the official insanitised site Kenny has acknowledged our failings in midfield and I think he will strengthen it.
I am going with the (very popular) scoreline of 3-1
On another point:-
I’m very sad to see Kevin Porter has decided to hang up his blogging boots.
I don’t often agree with his views but he has a perfect right to express them.
With regard to swearing, particularly the ‘F’ word, I have mixed views.
When used as an adjective or adverb, every other word in normal conversation, it offends me. When used by a stand up comedian, to appear cool, it turns me off.
When used sparingly, to emphasise a point, I accept it.
Some people just seem to be able to get away with it’s use; it becomes a natural part of their conversation.
John Cooper-Clark is one of these people – is there a funnier man around? – and I think Clive is another…. although not QUITE as funny.
Keep working on it Clive, it’ll come.
If you’re still out there Kevin, come back mate.
I could do with a decent argument!
Seconded.
Out of interest, which festivals have you been to this summer? I did Glasto and Boomtown. Would’ve done Besti too but my cousin had his Stag-Do – selfish bastard.
Glasto tickets on sale in 3 weeks….
Clarification, I was seconding the bit about KP coming back, not all that bollocks about swearing being offensive.
Boy bands are offensive. The Daily Mail is offensive. Racism and Misogyny are offensive.
Swearing is not.
It fucking well is!
Just the two this Summer.
Glasto and Festival No6.
Shame it’s all over for another year.
ohhh, thought 6 was the count of festivals you’d been to!
guess i’m just not down with the kids these days…
I always find your comments among the best Clive. And in true black country form, say it how it is, call a spade a spade, offend or please!
However, don’t mention Xmas please. I still have a cpl of easter eggs to finish, and Halloween and bloody trick or treating is to come yet!!!
Sigh!! DOOGooder – A grown married man, going to concerts, smoking weed, prepared to slum it in the muck???
Time to grow up and stop pretending youre a bloody young kid!!!
(I’m useless at arguments, but thought I’d at least try!!)
And along with Clive, yours are among the best comments mate!
PS – I’m jealous really at you going to festivals!
You should try it TW.
Attending at least one Festival should be made compulsory – along with National Service.
OOPS! I feel another argument coming on.
Man: Is this the right room for an argument?
Other Man: I’ve told you once.
Man: No you haven’t!
Other Man: Yes I have.
M: When?
O: Just now.
M: No you didn’t!
O: Yes I did!
M: You didn’t!
O: I did!
M: You didn’t!
O: I’m telling you, I did!
M: You did not!
O: Oh I’m sorry, is this a five minute argument, or the full half hour?
M: Ah! (taking out his wallet and paying) Just the five minutes.
O: Just the five minutes. Thank you.
I assume you forgot to thank Monty Python for the above argument sketch!!
Oh! No I didn’t!
Oh yes you did!!!!
I’ll have an argument about it – and a full 30 minute argument, not the 5 minute one, you tight fisted git!!
Who is this bloke John Cooper Clark?
He’s a performance poet from Manchester.
Been around for years. Looks a bit like a mad gothic punk, sounds like an oaf but is a very funny man.
I must apologise to him for misspelling his name though.
There’s an e on the end of Clark.
Wot no Stearman?! I’d be sorely tempted to play him. He gives us pace and compliments Batth more effectively IMO. This would mean Ricketts missing out as I don’t want to drop Golbourne.
Another 2-2 draw tonight. By no means a disaster!
A rather optimistic 4-0, why not?!
I’m full of optimism today, and I think KJ will work it out.
I also think Griffiths will have his boots on fire, after being subbed last time out.
3-1 home win. Griffiths to bag a cpl, about time either Sako or Doyle to get the other one.
And in true style, Walsall will score first, and we will have palpetations for the last 15 mins
Wolves 3 – 1 Walsall
3-1
Sako double and Doyle
Wolves 3 v 1 Walsall
Wow , some rather splendid comments above . I know our luck will run out soon , but not quite yet . Saturday may prove to have been a real low point …..yet we somehow won ??
So , the Griff to reload his boots …first Wolves hat-trick ?
Wolves 3 Walsall 0
After 61 years of following the Wolves I prefer to accentuate the positive so it’s going to be Wolves 3 Walsall 1. Standard score line for me !
I don’t think this one will be too much trouble…3-1 to Wolves…utw
3-1 Wolves win for me.
Think we mite see a draw again. I’ll go 1-1
wolves 2 saddlers 0
Wolves 2 Walsall 0
I always find reading Clive helps confirm my opinions
Wolves 1-0 Saddlers.
Hope I’m wrong of course but I think this is the night we slip up. Wolves 1-2 Walsall. Gutted I can’t be there, prove me wrong boys.
2-1 to us I think
Absolutely dreadful result again f*****g Walsall.
Ah well, another honeymoon’s over again and slowly but surely we are being shown up for what we are, a team that cannot keep possession and command the midfield.
BAG OF WANK….
Those of us who have been to the recent games have been saying this was going to happen. Our midfield is shit!
I left with 5 minutes to go as I had given up. I think we had one shot on goal all night. A midfield devoid of creative ideas. Unable to keep possession. We are lucky to have taken 6 points from the last 3 home games. 1 point would have been more like it. The football was a sort of McCarthy-lite brand. It’s early days for Kenny but fans are not idiots and they can see a team that is clearly not going to steam roller its way through League 1. Get the midfield sorted please !!
