Like most of you, I don’t agree with some of the choices Kenny Jackett is making.

Kevin McDonald’s continued omission being chief among them (although I think there’s something else going on there).
But I do think because the football is ugly, people take for granted the things he has done right.
Before the Derby game, I felt there was a real threat we could get dragged right down if things continued to deteriorate.
We were paper thin and blown away at Brentford, offering little as an attacking force too. So to me what he did next made total sense i.e. shutting up shop.
The points we accumulated got us over the line, so I don’t think anyone can categorically say this was the wrong move. And actually, with the players he had, I thought this was smart.
More over I think he would play attacking football if he had the players to do it. In fact we know this because he did it for the two years the preceded this one.
Rotherham
No questions are being asked of Neil Warnock, that’s for sure. What a fantastic job he’s done in a short period of time.
They’re undefeated in their last 10 matches, which includes six wins. That sequence has transported them from dead and buried to comfortably safe. Only Brighton have done better in the same period.
As Kenny is always saying, they’ve built a platform by only conceding 0s and 1s, but unlike Wolves, they’ve managed to get ahead in games and score goals.
Fortunately we were able to visit the New York Stadium earlier in the season before they’d got their act together and before Jordan Graham’s injury curtailed our aspirations.
I believe Warnock’s contract is up at the end the season so surely they’ll be begging him to carry on next season? If they don’t, they’re mad.
Wolves
Sounded pretty dire against Leeds, but we could have taken a point if Joe Mason had been more clinical in front of goal.

George Saville did score and a tidy finish it was. I think there’s still mixed opinion on the former Chelsea man, but he’s had a good run of games now and certainly scored some important goals.
I’d like to see a few changes in the midfield though to try different combinations. Coady and Wallace for Saville and Helan is one idea. Obviously I’d love to see McDonald involved but that looks increasingly like wishful thinking.
Le Fondre played against his former club in the earlier fixture and KJ said he was influenced by that, so it wouldn’t surprise me to see him involved from the start tomorrow.
The gaffer
Predictions
Rotherham are looking formidable of late and you wouldn’t back us to be the first team to beat them in a while on current form.
But I think we’re overdue a good home performance and I’ve just got a feeling we might get something out of our senior players tomorrow.
Given that we don’t score at home these days and Rotherham hardly concede, I’ll go for the only winning margin that makes sense.
1-0
Up The Wolves!

I’m voting for K Mac as Wolves Player of the Season, it’s the only protest I can think of at his continued exclusion from the team.
I really don’t care for the outcome of the match although I am making the journey up so am anticipating another thrilling 0-0 even though I’m sure Rotherham will score.
They do seem to sell our ‘Player of the Season’. Don’t tempt fate.
Logic tells me we’re gonna get the best part of nothing out of this game. The return of Wallace to our squad is a big plus and the return of Helan to Wednesday is a downer, so overall I can’t see too much changing.
It would be good to see some youngsters make the team, both starting and from the bench. Dire recent results and performances mean the current incumbents can hardly complain and only the most blinkered fan would accuse Kenny of ‘tinkering’.
My heart says home win, of course, but my head says:
We’re at home and Rotherham are doing well and on a bit of a roll. I can’t stand Warnock but you have to give him credit for what he has achieved. Struggling to be positive.
I think for any good KJ has done (as suggested above) he’s done just as much bad.
Yes there are mitigating circumstances but KJ has woefully under performed as a manager and a lot of it is of his own doing.
I’ve never been this dissolutioned as a fan. The ownership issue is the black cloud, as I don’t think we’ll truly move forward until we have a new owner.
The current team that’s been assembled is well below average and without significant reinforcement it’s likely to be a relegation battle next season if we do not improve the squad.
Again we waste our breath but how KMAC isn’t alongside Price in midfield beggars belief. Yes Saville has scored a few goals of late but in my opinion he’s no where near the standard we require. The same can be said of Coady.
For what it’s worth this would be my team.
Ikeme
Doherty Iorfa Haus Deslandes
KMAC Edwards Price
Wallace Enobakhare Henry
Replace Edwards and Henry with Coady, who I do like, and Hunte and I am with you all the way. We don’t need Batth but we DO need McDonald.
Really past caring at the moment. Can’t even be bothered to do the 2 hour journey up to the game. Hate Morgan, despise Moxey, loathe Jackett.
Not renewing my ticket after 35 years. I cannot look forward to games anymore with this idiot in charge and the most incompetant board in the football league who should have all resigned by now after whats gone on over the last three years. Ask yourselves this –
Why is it that WBA, Watford, Stoke, Palace, Southampton, Bournemoth & Swansea can achieve their targets with (in most cases) a worse infrastructure for training, a similar or smaller fan base, a smaller ground capacity?? Answers on a postcard to the Fat Controller at Moline!!!
The fat controller already has all the answers.
It’s just that nobody with any clout has the gonads to ask him the right questions.
I really hope Kenny gives Enobakhare a decent crack of the whip. I appreciate they’re different players, but surely he must see someone like Rashford rip up the Premier League and fancy having his own teen-tearaway to let loose on the opposition.
Low score draw for me
Agreed Bagsy and Devon
Let’s hope we get some entertainment, but recent history suggests not!
COMBs!
Nothing to play for but the pride of the shirt. I cannot believe that our ‘strikeforce’ can go another game without bagging a goal or two – rose tinted glasses? Hopefully the young guns can give us a performance to put a smile on our faces.
It seems like there’s a virus about.
It affects the ability of managers and owners to run football clubs successfully, causes unrest among fans, dwindling attendances and general depression.
I’m not sure who got it first but it spreads like wildfire.
Wolves, Villa, Arsenal, Man U, Newcastle, Chelsea, Leeds, Forest and a load more besides have succumbed to its deadly effect.
It comes in different strains.
The one Wolves are stricken with is called Moxeydol Morganitis.
And the only known antidote is very expensive – £30 million to be exact.
No chance of getting that on the NHS.
Cannot make the Sheff. Wed match so this the last home match of the season for me, and so I have to go for home win to keep up my spirits though more in hope than in any sense of reality.
We are all in the same disillusioned state from the dire footie we have witnessed and until we have a new owner with an influx of money little can/will change. As Thomas rightly puts out Jackett has got us over the line – and for those that want him out who is going to come and replace him and do a better job with the cards he has been dealt- Pep Guardiola anyone???
Perhaps Thomas could put a vote on here as to on how many support giving Kenny one more season and how many want him gone immediately.
The Kevin McD saga will come out I the wash eventually I’d assume there has been a mighty bust-up somewhere along the lines, it is clear he will back off to Scotland in the summer.
Once more, and thankfully only twice more this season, the same utter bollocks spouted pre match by the hamster.
He is going to keep to his tried, tested but totally useless formation of one up front, so we can learn going forwards and hopefully entertain our wonderful crowd.
He has completely lost it.
It has been said before, but it bears repeating, the definition of madness is to keep doing the same crap and expecting different results.
Well, hamster, your team selections, plans, tactics and substitutions are all crap, what can we expect tomorrow, other than another mind numbingly boring game?
And I have to say it
Bingle Jells, Bingle Jells, Bingle all the way
oh what fun it is to see
The shit lose away, or at home, or any fuckin’ where
Ha ha ha
Looking forward to fish and chips and porkie pies in two weeks
FOwb
3 matches to go ..if Warnock is out of contract please come here …or Moyce or Sherwood or…etc etc
I’ve had enough of Lettuce…..
We are a potential top PL club and we HAVE to have a top manager who has direction, can motivate, identify our best players now and for the future, and can stand up for himself and (his) players..
Please let this season finish and thank God that we mercifully have not had to fight for survival in this league.
It looks to me that I’ve got a better chance to win a 7 horse accumulator
than us find a buyer so imo it will all rest on the manager next season ..
So bye bye.
This match another draw ..K Mac please read this blog and stay with us..I’ll beg your place back for you…
but some hope with Mr ‘I don’t know what I’m doing’…
COYW
Steve, If that top manager is fighting with his line managers it’s just pie in the sky. Morgan get it sold and one.
PaulUSwolf I’m with you for the vote..
I think even DG would think twice…
Neil Warnock’s doing his ‘Red Adair’ act again with Rotherham.
It seems to always be a short term love affair he has with clubs – even shorter than most managers – but while it lasts he can galvanise players into performing way above their usual standard.
Realistically I see a draw as the best we’ll get but I’m predicting a win because that’s the sort of positive guy I am.
On a more negative note it will be interesting to see how low the attendance is.
I’ve been a bit hit and miss with doing my predictions lately…a sign of the apathy that’s set in.
In other Wolves news, I don’t agree with this nonsense around trying to get The Money Shop changed. It appears to be another stick to beat an already beleaguered management team with. It’s this sort of behaviour from fans which pushed Morgan towards the door.
Anyway, I have no confidence at present.
Well, a lot of people are saying, give KJ another season, a lot of people are saying, they will not be renewing their season tickets, a lot of people are saying, they will never buy a shirt with Money shop on.
Me I’m saying feck all.
I’m giving Wolves one more season, not KJ, not Moxey or Morgan but WWFC. The standard of play (I refuse to call this football) is dismal, embarrassing and a down right breach of the trades description act. If we supporters performed like this in our workplaces we would have been sacked long ago. We are but mere supporters, shit on the bottom of their shoes, they prey on our loyalty and our belief that we support the Old Gold & Black.
On the coach home from Leeds on Tuesday fans who I class as the hardcore, deep routed faithful who go home, away, U21’s and make the pre season tour every year good or bad were stating,no way would they wear the shirt with Money shop on.
Now that to me is a really worrying sign, alarm bells should start ringing, attendances Are plummeting and tomorrow will be another vote with your feet event. Rotherham will not bring many,so the place will be like a morgue and by all accounts just as cold.
KJ is already spouting forth his BS on how Siggy has been a great contributor to the club this season, so that tells me he’s in the starting line up tomorrow. Law of averages states he will eventually score a goal, even Leon Clarke fell over the ball on the goal line at Leeds and the ball trickled over the line. But like Clarke that will not make Siggy an exciting prospect for the future.
So if there is no improvement next year, unless a buyer comes in and sweeps aside this excuse for a board, management and coaching staff, then this fan is not paying his hard earned pension to watch a group of losers embarrassing our once great club.
0-3 to Rotherham, based purely on the contempt I am feeling for the whole affair at Molineux, a great team in Division 1, but sadly that was their level.
So Rotherham to spank us, because they care more than our lot.
Well it’s fair to say that my day cannot get any worse so what I need is a home win & 3 points.
Come on lads.
Wolves 0 Rotherham 8
I`ve been a supporter for over 60 years. I would like to see a result like this simply to demonstrate to those disgusting people who have run our beloved club into the ground, just how far we have fallen, how completely useless we are, and what little hope we can have for the future as long as the clueless, negative Jacket remains in charge.
Still, on reflection even a result like this would be unlikely to change a thing
For me, KJ retains a modicum of credit for what he did during our League One winning season and also for addressing the various player issues at that time. However, his team selections and tactics this season have been very baffling and I feel sorry for the fans who regularly go to home and away matches. My home matches have included Brighton and Cardiff, so not much cheer there either.
On the basis that we’ve got nothing to lose, let’s give starts to Enobakhare and Hunte. And restore the Iorfa-Hause CB pairing. Maybe KJ will surprise us and recall McDonald (but I’m not holding my breath).
The troops are definitely restless….if this shit repeats itself next season we’ll all be Kamakaze..
Stu Wolf I’ll say this here..you are a truely spectacular Wolves fan as long as you have a hole in your ass so myself speaking as a Co-sufferer.. stop this bullshit regarding about not being with the club after nxt season ..
We’ll be both moaning about the club and the manager / Owners and supporting the Club until we croak it…
I am British, moaning is a way of life for me, you know me too well, I’m just hoping Moxey can read.
I don’t thiink fans pushed Morgan at all , he just used it as an excuse , he decided to pull the pin while we were still in the prem and he realised he wasn’t good enough , why else would he throw the towel in when we still had a decent chance of staying up ? No , he knew then it was easier to balance the books in division 2 . He then sucked all the parachute money dry and is now trying to suck some poor bastard into reimbursing all his doe
Wolves 1
Rotherham 1
What has Wolves actually cost Morgan?
All the building work was done by Redrow, am I right?
Wolves paid his company, so his left hand, paid his right hand.
True, apparently, now, we have excellent facilities and a new stadium.
Morgan has though, simultaneously, made a profit from both sides of the deal.
He’s had a good lieutenant in Moxey whose balanced the ‘footballing’ side of the business.
However his investment in Wolves is £10.00
From that deal, Redrow is already millions ahead.
Now he wants to sell for £30,000,000 – £40,000,000
Greed does not attract good managers…
Wolves cost Morgan £10.00, no more, no less.
If people stop giving him another £10.00 on a weekly basis, he will start being realistic.
Expecting another load of crap tomorrow, no fan of Warnock but at least he tries to talk some sense unlike our Muppet.
I am with Stu Wolf one more season and then fuck it.
A good write up Thomas, though I think Saville has earned his place in the starting line-up :-p
I used to dislike Neil Warnock but the years have mellowed me and I see him for what he is – a motivating man-manager and a short term answer to several clubs over the past few years. No I don’t like him enough to become our next manager. He has done a top job at Rotherham, fair play to him.
So what will we see tomorrow? My crystal balls (yes, I have two) are predicting another goal-feast, as we have had in the past when playing Rotherham. Unfortunately we have no one capable of putting that round thing in the back of the net so I am struggling to see where our goals will come from.
Bright may as well be given a chance and replace Siggi aka The Marathon Man, maybe even start Mason because, to me anyway, he looks like a decent footballer. Maybe that’s his problem, he has skill and a good brain, something that is lacking in our squad – skill I mean not brains.
I am looking forward to the end of this season so I can prepare for the month long Euro 2016 finals and some decent matches.
Oh look, I have started rambling on meaninglessly …..just like our footie team…………..
Over and Out
🙂
You can put this down to apathy having a strange effect on me but I still have this nagging hope in the back of my mind that Siggy will come good. Ok so send the men in white coats round to take me away but if he starts tomorrow I fancy him to bag one if we can put some quality balls into the box.
Off to take my medication now.
Good lord man ! Put that bottle down and sober up ! 🙂
Occasionally I pop in to this excellent blog to see if the foul-mouthed lout “Clive from Houston” is being moderated or banned.
He isn’t and hasn’t, so I shall still choose not to participate.
Occasional swearwords are regrettable, but excusable. Being unable to post anything without profanity after profanity is not something I’m prepared to associate myself with.
I think you make a mistake in not insisting that such casual and frequent use of obscene language is disallowed. I imagine that “Clive” is capable of expressing himself without them, he just chooses not to. I object to having to skim past his comments. Indeed he may have something interesting to say, but I’m not prepared to stand the stench of the vomit proceeding from his mouth.
I remain a Billy Quiet “Happy Clapper” (mock me with the term if you wish, supporting means taking the bad times with the good) Season Ticket Holder and devoutly wish this blog enforced at least a minimum standard of decorous discourse.
For example. West Bromwich Albion are our local rivals. They have a proud history and are a club to admire. For too many years now have we been outstripped by them in achievement. Nonetheless call them Albion, not the four letter word too many Wolves “fans” use. Their supporters are Black Country folk like us, football enthusiasts like us, only the colour of their scarf is different.
Ah Ah ! Mr Moxey in disguise I presume !
Clive is fine – just skip past his posts if you don’t like them.
Sorry. And I do only say this with sorrow. Clive is not fine.
Were I in a train carriage and someone expressed themselves loudly in such language I would intervene, whether it got me a mouthful (which is usually Clive’s response) or even a bloody nose. He is acting objectionably like an uncouth yob and, in my opinion, it is not acceptable in a public arena.
Now this blog is not a public arena. The person who runs this blog chooses to allow such behaviour and, like your good self, sees no problem with it. Step gingerly around the fecal matter, hold your nose to avoid the stench is the prevailing attitude. While that is the case I choose not to take part.
Now I don’t imagine for a minute that my absence is of the least consequence to anyone – after all it’s only a very minor irritation to me. I’d like to read this blog and I’d like to contribute, but I don’t buy cream buns with a turd lying across them.
No need for you to be sorry Kevin.
I learned a long time ago that whatever we have no control over is not worth worrying about.
As you are repulsed by Clive’s comments then I can only suggest you skip his posts and not read them, which you obviously must be.
No point in poking the hornet’s nest with a stick when you can just walk around it.
P.S. Please stay here and contribute, after all that is what this blog is about.
I disagree with Sevlow, probably for the first time, when he says stay here. If you can’t handle it, that is up to you. No-one else dislikes him.
Oh ………. prediction time:
You can always refuse to read the reply of one of the most passionate supporters on here.
Or leave, if it offends you.
And if language like that does offend, are you deaf? Or don’t you hear what language we, the South Bank faithful choir, have been known to use from time to time?
I’m not a Jackett fan that’s well documented but I’ve come in for stick about that from the PRO Jackett camp more then any other blogger who thinks the same. I have read Clive’s Bloggs all season and he is of the same mind that the ” Hamster ” isn’t up to the job yet I’ve noticed doesn’t come in for stick.
Certain PRO Jackett bloggers want to take note. I’m happy to be your out let carry on but if you see me as an easy target your very much mistaken.
If your going to give stick out give it out fairly. If you don’t agree with someone let them know dont just TARGET one person of that view, i have no problem with getting stick, BUT don’t make out my view is the only view on Jackett as some would like to portray.
As for the game…………what game that’s how interested I am.
It been mentioned what Jacketts done in the past, the key word here is PAST it’s the here and now that matters and in MY opinion he doing a shit job..!
Ah Ah! Are you Kevin Porter in disguise ! ?
😉
…Also why do you have a closed bracket in your name but not an open one?
No but I know a Damien Porter………brother may beeee.
Are………..Opinions are like arse holes we all have one but some smell worse than others.
P.S.
Spell checked every worde……………..oh bollocks.
Paul from Feather light.
I’m a big fan of your’s. Speak your mind as you wish, it’s a free blog. I want to see the back of KJ as much as you do and I don’t give a flying Cod piece what stick anyone gives me, I speak as I see it, and I see the Shit home away and the clones in the U21’s.
I look at it this way, while they’re giving you stick they’re leaving me alone, selfish attitude I know but let’s give him some shit because he’s serving it up to us.
🙂
That’s because I am much better looking than you!!!!!!
Drop Siggy (predictive came up as soggy lol). Keep Money Shop, get over it . Lose big style
Don’t blame predictive, it got it right.
I missed listening to the Leeds game with work commitments, but maybe a dire performance away from home precedes a good performance at home.
I know everyone is harping on about KM, but when he has played, especially in a deeper role, he just hasn’t been effective, and with KJ’s seeming insistence in a single striker model, KM just doesn’t get the time on the ball to create when in that “number 10” hole.
2 strikers, KM and JP worked last season, it’s definitely not had the same results this season.
Anyway, lets home we steal the result!
#UTW
Struggling to be positive!
So it’s green away kit; should look very attractive with the garish Moneyshop Logo! – A logo which is obviously here to stay for the next three years based on Moxey’s open letter following recent criticism to the deal. I think I’ll get the old Chaucer shirt back out for next season; a more aesthetically pleasing logo and branding from an organisation with a somewhat better reputation.
As for the game, anything is going to be disappointing compared to that memorable game against Rotherham; in contrast I’m sure the match tomorrow will be easily forgettable and the performance will likely match the weather forecast.
another draw ..but maybe less boring? past caring really
Last night Kortney Hause scored a massive own goal, he posted the new but yet unreleasd Wolves kit on his instastrip or twittergranny or something. Obviously he will be dropped for ever, fined £300,000 and will be sold to Portleven academicals in the Highland league.
I searched everywhere but can’t find the picture but here is a piece from Wolves rumours, hold on to your hats if this is right.
22 Apr 2016 13:46:01
I’m fine with Lone-Star or it’s owner buying Wolves. But whatever, if WWFC get to Prem, the Moneyshop sponsorship needs to be changed to something more up-market and less urban, like Lone-Star, so that it doesn’t give Wolverhampton and WWFC a class-limited urban-only image in the Nations mind that will harm WWFC’s brand, reach, and ability to grow it’s fanbase. And,
Wolverhampton City’s ability to attract shoppers and other investment and regenerate.
And I’d guess our new green away kit is because Lone-Star owner is Irish – fine, but the socks have hoops!
While we are in Championship no one will notice, so as long as they don’t brand us in Prem and so to rest of Nation as urban down market Moneyshop, and as long as they don’t try and turn us into the Black Country Celtic, fine.
Lose the f’ing hoopy green socks!
Everyone is entitled to their views and, in my opinion, to express them as they wish in order to suit their persona. For me Clive is humourous and genuine.
you still aint getting a free beer.
I only drink Campari.
Reasons to be cheerful. Last night I was at the Arsenal v Albion game at The Emirates. Sandwell were not just poor they were seemingly there purely not to lose by too many. No notion of trying to win, just a meek surrendering and acceptance of their fate. A squad of old men, journeymen and want-away-men. They will finish between 10th and 17th like last year and the year before that and the year – well you get the idea. As I sat watching them I thought ‘what is the point?’ They will never win anything, stuck forever in interminable stasis. Do we want that? Really?
P.#. A hot dog inside the Stadium was £4.80. With onions it was £5.20. The Money League indeed.
Oh Mr. Porter, what can I do?
I wanted to go to Birmingham but they dropped me off at Crewe.
Actually Birmingham Road End.
Home of the shit.
You are extremely entitled to your opinions, and if you wish to address the shit by their official name, knock yourself out.
I, on the other hand, prefer not to.
For me, over the years, they have been a shit club, with shit supporters and shit results, therefore I am just as entitled to address them as the shit.
If it offends you, tough shit.
My over riding curiosity, however, is this.
If you skim past my comments, how do you know what foul mouthed expletives I may be using?
I will not resort to insulting you, rather hold out my hand and offer to buy you a pint of ale at the Bloggers Ball on the 7th.
And no, Brompto, Stuwolf, Doogle or any others, I will not offer to buy you beer if you lot insult me!!!
FOwb
Damn, thought I was in for a free beer until your disclaimer.
Maybe we will see a goal at home, presumably from a defender or midfielder. I want to watch an entertaining game for a change so let’s play some attacking football.
Fuck off Albion !
Up the wolves !
Keep posting Clive
First time I’ve gone against the babbies, I think Warnock will wind his players up and put us to the sword.
But win or lose I hope Hackett has the bollocks to play the kids.I don’t think so ,Hackett will play the Huffers and puffers with 1 up front,Great.
I hope us fans give Poxey some stick about the club sponsor, The Money Ripoff Shop.as it should be named.
I for one won’t be buying anything again from the wolves shop as long as they have those sharks as our main sponsor.
As we’ve shared 15 goals with Rotherham on their last two visits, this should be the side we end the Molineux goal drought against. That being said, I can see us getting turned over.
just to confound everyone, I think we will do some pretty things on the field and sneak a win
We can keep clean sheets at the moment (well sometimes) but can’t score.
A well placed own goal will see us win 1-0.
Hopefully not another home bore draw.
I am getting used to seeing Siggy run around in ever diminishing circles. Don’t know what Kenny sees in him.
I laugh at Jackett now …..
“I can see where the problems are …in the striking positions” …..
At the beginning of the season when we signed 700 midfield players and 0 strikers ..and all the fans raved at this error of judgement of biblical proportions. …… Why Jackett has it taken you 43 ….. YES 43 games to work that out?
You’re taking the piss man, along with your cosy little chums Moxey and Thelwell and all the other USELESS Board members.
Baroness Rachel Heyhoe Flint is our Community Board Guru …. What does she think of the Money Shop issue… Amazing and deafening silence. … knowing her she is probably cringeing at it all but is gagged and bound to silence by our supporter friendly CEO.
Football now and for some unexplained reason I think we’ll win….. Courtesy of an own goal … as The DOOG says …couldn’t score in a free brothel! (Not swearing is it?)
Don’t mean to sound boring, buf how many times this season have I said our priority is a striker?
After the drought comes the flood. Perhaps today’s the day for opportunities to be taken. Three Bright goals to nil. You have to keep positive don’t you?
The highlight of the week was seeing the Baggies get beaten 2-0 by Arsenal in midweek, although for me the most interesting thing was the thousands of empty seats at the game. The gate figures showed almost full but so many season ticket holders didn`t bother to go but as a the Mol, were included in the attendance figures.
Even a club as successful as Arsenal have fans who are disenchanted because they should be doing so much better, and have football issues which don`t get solved.
The clowns running Wolves should be taking note, fans will only take so much indifference, inactivity, lack of investment before they vote with their feet and wallets, even at a hugely successful London club.
Sell up Morgan, get out of my club you don`t support, otherwise the downward spiral of fans indifference, poor quality playing staff, could lead to even more serious issues like a relegation battle next season without fresh investment.
I think we’ll come good – much too late of course!
Well, Mr Porter, for some reason I seem to have ruffled your priggish feathers.
I do not have a clue who you are, but I am not going to stoop to the level of insulting you, while hiding behind the anonimity of a blog.
If you dont like my prose or choice of words, dont read them, which you obviously do.
As offered previously, if you make your way to the Bloggers Ball, after the Sheffield Wednesday match, at A Park View Hotel, I will be happy to buy you a drink, and discuss the future of Wolverhampton Wanderers, and other things.
We are all Wolves fans, with our common love of the club, and as I have found, life is way too short to be mad or pissed at others.
So, I genuinly hope to meet you soon and have a good chat.
Have a nice day
FOwb
To Clive, or the uncouth yob from Houston, or whatever you want to call yourself:
Doh change mucker!!!! Your replies are one of the highlights for me! If ppl don’t like it, they can choose not to read. Or bugger off to one of the other blogs if they’re that peed off!
I for one find your posts very amusing Mr. Clive, and admiral that you keep your passion burning from such a distance. Once a Wolves fan, always a Wolves fan. If only owners and chairmen could be the same. We were so lucky having Mr Hayward for so long at the top of our pyramid.
It seems the majority of the fans think like me – a 1-1 draw and they really don’t give a …hoot!
And I really cannot see why we are so looking forward to next season. All that is likely to happen is that we sell a couple of the better (more expensive) players and bring in a couple of youngsters. At this rate roll on 2022 when they become of age!. (Probably we would still be looking for a new owner with Moxey still in charge. Oh Joy!!!!
I don’t. I predicted 1-1 only because I am top of the prediction league and that prediction stops me being caught up.
Another close one. Would be nice to see a fresh face or two but I doubt we’ll risk it.
A forecast of a Wolves win is more in hope than belief.
When Saunders was Manager, I prayed for us to go down, on the basis that if we survived, there would be no need to change.
I now pray for us not to get a hatful of goals, in case our esteemed manager / board use that as justification for not needing any replacements.
Can’t be bothered anymore. Yet another supporter, afflicted by apathy and malaise.
On a separate note, interesting how there are three confirmed interested parties for the Villa…….
Morning All just picking up on the clive/mr porter dispute. Language can be deemed offensive depending on the context in which it is used. Personally i and others on this blog are not offended by Clives language. Mr Porter is. I often hear people using the f word in almost every sentence but I also know they are not using it to offend anyone. It is just everyday language to them. I put that in to the context of the situation. What offends one person may not offend others.
I agree but I don’t consider it to be a dispute. Clive is not disputing anything. It is just Mr Porter who is offended by him. I just think he needs to grow some or naff off.
I just want to see a goal
Notable that as the level of apathy towards the club concerning this season has gone up, so has the level of irascibility. Just one thought. Half the bloggers here seem to be criticising KJ for becoming ‘the Tinkerman’, constantly changing his line-ups. The other half appear to be accusing him of always picking his perceived favourites – Edwards, Henry, Batth – even if they are running on one leg. Strange one, eh ?
Can’t recall when I last thought we might not beat a Rotherham team, but thats where Ii’m at today.
After seeing the line up, think we just might sneak it. No kmac or price though!
Well, with something like 15 shots and no goals I guess the game was frustrating. As I predicted a draw, and with only two games to go, I may be the Prediction League Champion after all. I hope there’s a trophy!!!
See you all on Fri 6th/Sat 7th.
As champion of the PL elect ..I’m expecting the celebrations to start at the APV on sat night.
Meal booked for 7pm sit down, (at the request of the Boss of PVH)
So all of you who have booked up, look forward to seeing you all there on the 7th at 18-30 for a 1900 sit down..

Please don’t ply me with glasses of white wine … Oh go on then….
With a 1230 kick off we will be back at the venue by 3 so what on God’s Earth can we do for three and a half hours till the ball bash starts? Here are some ideas:
1. Re-live the five goals (all set up by McDonald) we have smashed past Wednesday?
2. Discuss the theory of evolution?
3. Conduct our own EU membership referendum?
4. Muse about what the Club’s new owner, Donald Trump, might do first?
5. See who can burp the song ‘Those Were The Days’ the best?
6. See if Clive can go longer than 60 seconds without uttering a profanity?
7. Play ‘guess the age’ of the tasty bar snacks?
8. See if anyone knows the first names of the Bhatti Brothers?
9. See who can come up with best description of Jez Moxey?
10. Have a nice little snooze.
3 + hrs of pre dinner drinks. Gonna be messy ……….. again.
Oh, I do hope so.
It’s been a while mate. I am sò looking forward to this.

11. Compare wristwatches?
12. Have a whip round to buy the Club
13. Solve the Palestinian problem?
14. See if any of us have got webbed feet?
15. See who can do the best elephant impression using only the lower body?
29. See if any of us can count?
17. See who can do the best impersonation of Blakey from On The Buses?
18. Decide on an alternative ending to the original Jaws film?
19. Discuss what number each of us would have been on The Prisoner?
20. Play ‘murder in the dark’?
Wecould watch this over and over again .

I was at that game as a 16/17 year old with my dear old Dad. Waggy was brilliant that day. The early 70’s were fabulous times for Wolves, for music and for me personally.
Me too,
Travelled down on the coach from Cannock with my mate Roger Palmer, (Geoffs brother)
Great day..
Oh for a time machine
