After dispatching Sheffield Utd, there are now only three teams yet to suffer a league defeat at the hands of Wolves this season.
QPR are one of them.
You couldn’t begrudge them the victory at Loftus Road back in October. They didn’t park the bus. Far from it in fact. They kept pushing and got their reward.
That was the game that convinced Nuno changes needed to be made at the back. Out went Miranda and Batth and in came Boly and Bennett.
We’ve been stronger for that decision ever since.
QPR
Rangers are that team that went big and couldn’t see it through. If they’d been able to sustain their Premier League status longer, they might still be paying out silly fees and silly wages.
As it is, they’re now having to cut their cloth and even that is probably an understatement.
Survival and stability are the order of the day and in that sense you probably can’t grumble about the job Ian Holloway is doing with modest resources.
They’re 10 points clear of the relegation zone and will be in the Championship again next season. More recently, they’ve won three of their last five so come into this one in decent form.
That said, their away form is atrocious. Just 11 points yielded from 15 matches. Only two wins to go with five draws and eight defeats.
Wolves
Same again yeah?

I remember watching Man Utd in their pomp and Ferguson would just keep turning up the heat if the game wasn’t going their way, introducing more and more attackers from the bench.
With the likes of Bonatini, Afobe and Bright waiting in the wings, Nuno can do the same if this one is getting away from us. That’s reassuring.
Helder Costa has rediscovered his swagger of late and that makes the front three a truly terrifying combination.
Worth noting we’ve scored the most goals and conceded the fewest, so it’s still very much a team effort.
Prediction
I expect us to win and logic dictates we should do so comfortably. The Forest game is still fresh in the memory though and proof positive if you don’t reach the levels, you can be found out by anyone.
There should be a spring in the step though after last Saturday’s heroics and a week to rest up, so I don’t anticipate a blip.
I’ll go for a 2-0.
Three more points. One game less. Keep it going lads.
Up The Wolves!

I was hoping to make this one but I’m not sure I will be able to now.
Never mind, I can only see a comfortable win for us and comfortable wins get a trifle boring after a bit don’t they?
Do they buggery!!!!!
I’m still replaying the highlights of the Sheffield game and they don’t get any worse.
In fact I think I like them more every time I watch them.
More please lads.
Can’t believe I’m the first to leave a comment but by the time I press send someone else will have nipped in I’m sure, in injury time!
Pretty much agree with you Thomas, except on the score-line. At the risk of egg on my face (remember Nottm Forest), I’m going for a Clive. 5-1. Costa is getting back to his best but he has a way to go. He has more tricks than a barrel of monkeys but the edge to his game hasn’t returned yet. I remember him virtually walking the ball into the net away to Cardiff last season. And as for that fantastic run he made in the FA cup against Liverpool a year ago, wow. Hopefully that edge is returning. It put him on Chelsea’s radar.
I’m looking forward to the blood-sport of Millwall v Cardiff City Cloggers tonight. I have a feeling our ex-Wolves players at Millwall will do us a massive favour.
Dances – The DOOG nipped in at the last moment! Maybe like at Millwall in 1967 an irate fan should run on and attack DOOG?
Yeah Bedders, maybe a Kung Fu kick ?
Yes, beat you to it mate.
You’ll have to get up VERY early in the morning to get up earlier in the morning than I get up in the morning.
Unless I don’t get up that morning of course.
This is beginning to remind me of a joke David Lloyd told the Barmy Army, just before the Sydney test match in the 2010/11 Ashes tour. Shane Warne and Liz Hurley were big, big news as an item. When Shane came into the commentary box David turned to him and said, “good morning Shane, did you get up ‘hurley’ this morning? ” Howzat?
The bowler is Holding, the batsman’s Willey.
And for that memorable dismissal:
Lillie, caught Willey, bowled Dilley…
So silly.
Excellent stuff that man!
Ooops forgot the score.
I am also going for a thrashing. QPR really are awful away from home and Nuno and the boys are in no mood to let things slip against lowly opposition. Get the points in the bag before a couple of more challenging contests coming up.
Jota
Cav x 2
Boly
Afobe
Maybe not quite the easy ride that many seem to imagine it will be and I think it might prove quite toilsome.
I understand the weather forecast for Wolverhampton on Saturday is rain pretty much all day long which might be something of a ‘leveller’.
In addition I fully expect Holloway, the quintessential ‘old school’ manager, to set his side up to frustrate us and break up the play at every opportunity.
Having said that I do think we will have far too much for QPR and with our proclivity for winning at home I expect us to win to help prevent me from becoming ornery and compensate me for getting drenched despite being under cover – whoever designed the Stan Cullis Stand should be strapped to a chair and made to sit under a waterfall for 24 hours.
Hope to visit the NBB at some point.
OODCL
Love the use of the word proclivity.
Also “ornery”. I must say too that I have not seen you bad tempered.
I agree with you and believe this may not be a simple job, hence my prediction.
Does proclivity mean he likes me??
No, no-one really likes you. As you well know as you are a well educated man it is a tendency to choose or do something regularly; an inclination or predisposition towards a particular thing.
Ooohh!!
Somebody had a thesaurus for Christmas!!
Still reckon it means Clive is a fuckin’ superstar though.
No thesaurus, mate …….. just google!
I did my recce and they say I can pitch a tent for you outside as I just cancelled your room!
Does that mean you are uprooting yours from the side of the M 62 and letting me borrow it, or getting me a brand new one?
Either way, thank you very much!!
Mine has been removed by the police. I know live in one made of bricks just off the A1(M).
See you in the Hilton buddy.
So now you have a pair of them, when you go to the doctor, does he say
” you are two tense”???
Sod it
I’m in !
I’m bringing my brother in law up. His last game was the 0-0 with Blackburn last season. So its a f-ing low bar!
Expect Bennet and Boly to cope a lot better with QPRs frontmen than Miranda and Batth did (no offense Danny, you’re still a good player).
If QPR park the bus we now have the option to sub on Afobe and Bonatini, park them both in QPR’s penalty box, and use their arial presence to cause havoc – which they will, because QPR are crap lets remember. Its great to have options.
Loftus Road was a rubbish ground (restricted view and personal space), and the result didn’t go our way, but despite both factors the Wolves support was phenomenal. I’d like to see us get behind the lads in the same way tomorrow. I’ll be doing my bit in SL3.
Only one option – another easy 3-0 win for Wolves.
Hoping for a couple more spectaculars as last week.
Would love to see a Clive however………..
Think we will go one better than last week, just can’t see it any other way.
See you in the NBB Bedders. Come on you mighty Wolves.
Would like to see Afobe start and get 90 minutes under his belt if he’s match fit. Can’t see beyond a comfortable win.
Not sure why you’d want to see him start when there are better players to do just that.Bench warmer that’s all.
That is your opinion. It is not mine. I am perfectly capable of deciding exactly what I think without any help.
I can’t see anything but a win tomorrow. We look unstoppable at the minute totally refreshed from the week in Spain. QPR are poor away from home and I think if we score fairly early it’ll game over with more goals to follow. I’d like to see Costa get back on the score sheet along with Afobe and Bonatini. 3 points closer!
‘Revenge is a dish best eaten cold’, or so they say. Well, its going to be cold in Wolverhampton tomorrow. Doubtless QPR will replicate the hard-working performance we saw at Loftus Road, closing us down quickly, but it won’t be enough. Their away record gives cause for extreme optimism, so I’m also going for a thrashing.
Despite the weather forecast, there will be a full Molineux to cheer the boys on. Expecting a hard fought game.
This defence as a unit will take some breaching, Big Willy immense, Coady impossible to believe it is the same player and Bennett on a free.
Seems a long time since we last played (is it really only just over a week ?) – so keen to watch the mighty Wolves in action again.
Missed out on winning a signed poppy shirt so the major buckley suite will have to compensate.
Im taking my son to the game and due to the exciting times we live in he has only ever seen us win. Same again please lads.
Like everyone else just can’t see anything other than a thrashing being dished out by us tomorrow.
Sooner or later we are going to score enough in the first half to be able to declare at half time, would love that to be against QPR because I hate that dwarf Holloway with a passion, nearly as big a wanker as Warnock.
Will be in the Stan Cullis tomorrow with Borderwolf, probably getting soaked but who cares.
Onwards & Upwards
The poison dwarf. Wasn’t he in Dallas in drag?
We got a bad record against the Hoops haven’t beaten them at the Golden palace since 2009 but as like so many curses we Wolves fans have had to suffer over so many baron years Nuno’s Marvels win banish this one too.
Would like to see Afobe get some decent minutes but I cannot see he starting would just like to say a word about Leo he works his socks off for the team and has been unlucky in front of goal all strikers go through this at one time or another Leo, chin up and keep doing what you do and the goals will come.
Bring on the meercats this should be simples. Wolves to give QPR the lesson in football they need and deserve. Costa bonatini and above songsters scorers as we show our clear and the rest that to of the league is out of their reach and that they’re all playing for second
I, like his Royal Doogship, keep watching last week’s class – oozing goals over and over.
Brillo!
Holloway is one of those dinosaur, turd like, so called old school managers, who needs to be put out in the same pasture waiting for Wernick, McDickwadhead, Pardue, Allydice, Moyes and others.
He is such an arrogant twat, I would love us to stuff the snot out of his team.
And with the flowing liquid football in full force once again, tomorrow will be pure magic.
I feel the force so powerful I reckon 6-0 is in the air.
FO wb
So what will you think if it’s 5-1 then Clive????????
I am in a no lose situation.
If its 5-1, its still mine, coz I got it patented!!
My uncle used to work at Patented Shaft
Just thought I’d say lioc
I don’t foresee NES fiddling with the formation or personnel after last weeks masterclass. Same of everything for me, and, as I’m making the trip for this one, same kinda performance too, please gents.
Always thought Costa was the biz, so I’m very happy to see him beginning to return to his former levels, if only in patches. With Cav on fire and Diogo doing his thing, it is indeed a terrifying prospect for opposition defences. If it ain’t happening, there’s only Leo and Benik to call upon. Bit thin on the ground up front then.
Hope to call in to the NBB at some point, if I can drag myself away from the delightful real ale and convivial atmosphere of the Combemere. Look forward to meeting up with the regulars once more.
What about Bright Enobakare? That is another possible sub.
True. But behind the other two, in my humble opinion. Bright’s brill but needs a little more coolness, especially at this crucial part of the season.
After reading that 2 of jahadi johns ‘ beatles ‘ were q p r supporters then I reckon we should beheading for a big score
Portuhampton 4
Rangers. 0
That is almost inexcusably politically incorrect and in terribly bad taste.
What’s wrong with 6-0 ??
OOOOOooooooh. You bad boy. Dead funny though.
Afobe should benefit from a week of reassimilation – is there such a word? – back into the Wolves squad. That said, I agree with Thomas that Nuno will probably go for an unchanged starting eleven.
I’m looking forward to seeing first hand some of the artistry of last week. I’m hoping to get to NBB prematch but will certainly look in after the game.
Yes there is it is the process of taking in and fully understanding information or ideas.
Perfect. Sorry to see that you’re not doing the game tomorrow mate. Catch up with you soon.
What was I thinking last week when I predicted a 3-1 win. There will be all clean sheets at the Mol from now till end of season. And with the choice of forwards to pile the agony, I reckon we will cruise after 4.
We were really looking forward to this weekend as our last visit to The Mol ended in defeat to the shit from the East Midlands. Usual hotel and Chinese sorted but unfortunately, due to problems at home we are probably going to have give this one a miss. hoping for a goal fest for all in attendance.
Hi Ian & Sue – hope whatever the problems are they get sorted very quickly.
Thinking of you both mate. I got your last text. Speak again soon. Hopefully in better circumstances.
Sorry to learn that guys. I was looking forward to catching up with you both at the hotel or the game. All the best.
Hiya Both .. best wishes to both of you …
We’ll be mailing you from NZ for a catch up ….
I’m going for a clean sheet. 3-0
Same as last week, control the game score some goals.
Sticking to the system: Predict a draw – guarantee a win.
My previous two 5-1 predictions ( Forest and Blunts; way off the mark and edging closer) seem to be a popular prediction so far today ……. can’t see Nuno starting with a different team that started last week …..if Holloway’s Hoops play a defensively minded formation then breaking them down may require the deployment of the new WMD after 45 mins….drop the holding midfielder to the bench and play Costa, Jota, Cavaliero AND Afobe???……..reckless perhaps but we’re at home, 11 points clear, they have an awful away record ….. COYW
Our pitch is bigger than theirs
They have injuries, we don’t
We have great players, they don’t
Can’t change a team beaten once in 16 , Afobe will have to fight to get in , maybe half hour when the game is won
Mind the gap
Utw
I’m going for a Desmond…2-2, I reckon.
I mean, it’s only fair really. Two in the North and two in the South bank nets. Nice and symetrical, Like.
UTW
Like everyone else I’m feeling good about this game. We should enjoy thumping the likes of QPR while we can.. this time next year I suspect there will be rather less easy home wins.. but then who
Knows?
Afobe hat trick and one for Jota
Wolves to edge it 2-0.
Good afternoon Tipton Exile – Mr and Mrs Twix
If you manage to read this we are eating at the Thai restaurant. Darlington Street tomorrow st 1pm.
You are more than welcome to join us.

Hiya Mike .. Really sorry about this but we just can’t make tomorrow at the Thai with all the prep going on for NZ.
We are coming up to the game and if we’re early enough we’ll head into the North Bank Bar.
Well do it when we get back.
Hello Mike
Have a wonderful trip. Should be most enjoyable.
See you both when you arrive home in a few weeks time.
All the best
Mike
2 – 0.
Bonatini to score.
3 points does the job!
Thomas,
“After dispatching Sheffield Utd, there are now only three teams yet to suffer a league defeat at the hands of Wolves this season.”
Am I right in saying that your statement is not quite right. We beat Sheff Utd and Forest, so is it just QPR and Cardiff left is it not?
No I am wrong. You are right, of course. I missed out Sunderland.
Yep just QPR, Cardiff and Sunderland to go. Can’t really see us not doing all three of them.
Would love to see a 10-0 or something at Sunderland too as there is going to be a massive blogger support there. Are you going? If not why not, get yourself booked in to the Hilton Garden Inn mate.
As we now are firing on all cylinders, I expect us to get revenge on another team that beat us this season. So with an optimistic aire I’m going for a complete thrashing of Hollowhead’s bad boys.
Wolves 1 – 0 QPR.
As this site has now gone PC I will have to paint a picture in your mind.
Fluffy white clouds floating in a radiant blue sky, with baby lambs springing through the meadows happily chased by little children in their Sunday best clothes, Shouting FOwb. Wolves am we…..
COMBambinos
Yep record at mol v hoops ain’t too good but honestly we should win this one
Would like Holloway to attack us if so a comfortable win but who knows ay
It would be good to see Bonatini get back scoring, it would be a shame to find that such a fine player fades out of the picture. Great to see Costa getting back to form, I’m still expecting him to go on those match winning runs.
I’ll stick to three, can’t see them scoring, could be four if we carry on from last week.
Got home win all over it. Question is, by how many? Head says 2 nil, heart says 6 nil
Similar to earlier weeks, it’s all about that early goal
Excuse me – am I late to the party? Alright then, I’ll be the broken (yet still groovy and kinda edgy) record:
– Wolves to win 4-0
– Benik to score
– Life’s a peach
___
Off topic:
-Millwall to see off the better of Cardiff tonight – despite their meek loss at the hands of Rochdale (who???) that did cost me my accumulator mid-week…sigh.
– 2 red cards & a draw between AV and BUFC
*BCFC, I mean.
Cheers, burp, etc etc!
Same starting 11 as last week for me, with Bonatini coming on at 70 minutes to put the finishing touch to a 3 – 0 win. Afobe on the bench to watch and learn about team spirit cos we have it in bucketloads.
Can’t see anything other than a routine win, 3-0 again… As I have been castigated for submitting pictures of scantily dressed ladies, (not nudes), I will cease doing so, as some people are offended by them. I would like to point out that I am offended by the use of the ‘F’ word in texts and would ask that you all desist from using it in future.(tic). Thank you in advance.
Fine.
I’ll be fulfilling forthwith for the future your firmly and fulsomely… and forcefully, heartfelt wishes.
Feelings are foremost.
Failing to follow your wishes would mean falling down on my duties.
No more ‘F’ words.
…Forever!
“Flabbergasted” – possibly my favourite word in the English language ha-ha.
Where has the browse gone for the pics ?
ALL posts that had a picture attached have had the picture removed for as far back as I can check…
I’m unhappy about this Mildenhall as I have now started to superheat steam / boil wash Mrs Twix’s tee shirts and I have been stripped of the benchmark for when to stop the process.
Twix,
Be careful.
I tried this last year & my missus was a little concerned, so she said she was worried “others” would be able to see her appendix scar!
I said “don’t worry love, your breasts will cover that”
Nice one Rick Rack ….
What a sad bunch we have become. Poor old Benny Hill must be turning in his grave.
So why has it been done ? whoever has decided this should come out with a defence as to why !
See Cotswold wolf has gone because of this – surely we should all be allowed an opinion ?
How disappointing that the PC brigade have won again.
I mean, London Wolves made a joke about beheading people (which I admit to having a chuckle over) but obviously, there’s nothing too distressing about that action in the minds of these warped, killjoy weirdos.
So cheers, Mildenhall for the weeks of excellent pics of gorgeous girls who will never be made redundant in my world… and I hope you noticed, I didn’t use the F word.
Don’t worry guys and lasses, the man who thinks “excellent pics of gorgeous girls” are not appropriate on this site will no longer comment. You can have it all to yourselves. Cotswold Wolf is gone from here. I wish all of you all the best, good luck to you and of course the team we all love.
You too. Shame you have become part of the PC bde, but everyone is entitled to their views. Goodbye.
One fixture to put away after the old DB defence give away last time ..but this time ….
1-0 up at half time Afobe on 2nd half for the other 2 ..further 3 points needed..
Masterclass again !
6-0! 5-1! 4-0!
I wish!
It’s going to be more like a 1-0, 2-1.
Tough league = tough games
This will be no exception. We are totally different team to the one that lost at QPR so I am confident we will beat them.
Onwards we march
🙂
Agreed Sev. I think Holloway will try and stifle us.
Mind you I thought that the Blades game would be the same, so what do I know?
Still think it’s going to be a tough one, but hope the lads can shade it with their class and team spirit.
Leo to score and rediscover his mojo from the bench
COMBs!
QPR been a bit of a bogey team over the years but I think tomorrow we will roll them over and have our most convincing win of the season. The way we played against Sheffield United was great and we will carry on with that but QPR are awful away from home 5-0 wolves
Cannot see anything other than another 3 points. Oh how boring – l don’t think.
We really have a great squad spirit going at the moment and we are going to need everyone singing from the same hymn sheet next season.
Feel like when l was 9 years old can’t wait for tomorrow wake up all excited to see the Wolves play here l am 58 with the same feeling.
Safe journey to all travelling to the Golden Palace.
Hoping to carry on where we left off last week, and believe we will,on that basis I’m going for a convincing
3-1win.with Afobe to get off the mark if he gets a kick.
Packed house again bring it on. ……..UTW.
After winning 70% of our matches to date it’s hard to contemplate anything other than another one tomorrow.
I for one was surprised at the loss to the R’s away but following that … the axe fell on Batth and Miranda and well …we haven’t looked back.
Bennett and Big Boly, replacements for the above, have come in and been invincible…. added to that the vitamin D factor and it’s a nailed on hammering for QPR tomorrow.
Can’t wait to see Afobe get off the mark with a cameo appearance after we race into a 3 – 0 lead… Costa, Jota and Boly…
Still buzzing from last Saturdays performance the first two goals would befit a much higher stage but I feel that’s where Jota & Neves are going, hopefully dragging us with them for a few more years yet.
Same 11 for me so no reason to change and if we are struggling to break down QPR we can chuck on a couple of half decent strikers cant we!!!
The loss to QPR earlier in the season was a bit of a turning point as it saw Nuno finally lose faith with Miranda and he also swapped Batth for Bennett and since then we have looked a different team and I can only see one result.
It’s revenge time again. (And again and again for all those other times from this lot.)
I’ll go with the same score from the same pack and would love another performance like last time out. Winning is brilliant, wining with swagger is such an unbelievable high.
Come on let’s keep the party atmosphere going!
Hoping for another no fuss win and clean sheet.
Would really like to see Costa score (was he badly injured last week?) as he is trying really hard and I think is close to rediscovering last season’s form.
Looking forward to the a great match, brilliant atmosphere & loads of Wolves players finding the back of the net.
Home win.

Firstly, I would like to say a massive thank you to the staff of the NHS who have worked wonders and got Sue’s mum sorted which means we can spend the weekend in Wolverhampton after all. She may support Forest but I love that lady to bits. Secondly, thank you for the messages on here and the personal texts – you know who you are and it really is appreciated. I have said it before, the people on this blog are the best. But, thirdly, I find it so disappointing that the facility to upload pictures to the blog has been removed due to a very small amount of bloggers complaining. In the past I have posted pictures of me with Jeff Shi, the mini bloggers ball at The Queens, Wolves massive away support at games, Newark & Bedford Wolves at Forest, the list goes on. Loads of you know Sue and I asked her opinion of the latest “tasteless” picture on here of the scantily clad women – she wasn’t offended in the slightest. The girls concerned choose to “do what they do”nobody forces them and to be honest, if you’ve got it, flaunt it. And before you have a go, I also see the point of “what has it got to do with Wolves ?” It is a bit of fun ffs. I abbreviated it to “ffs” because before long the same sad individuals will want swearing banned as well. We are about to embark on the greatest chapter in the history of Wolverhampton Wanderers Football Club , lets not spoil this blog with petty differences of opinion – at the end of the day we all have one thing in common, WE ARE WOLVES. See you tomorrow folks.
Damn right, Newark!
Many years ago, when I first met my now 92 year old mother in law, I learned that she was, and still is, an avid reader of the same type of books that I read.
So, my on going Christmas gift to her is a parcel of books that I have read, new and used, sent to her monthly so she doesn’t have to go to the library, or buy books herself.
My wife originally asked if there was “bad” language in the books, and I told her of course there is, it’s how most of us talk in our daily lives.
She was concerned that her mother would be upset, to which I replied that if she didn’t know a word, it wouldn’t offend her, and if she knew it, then she understood, and chose to carry on with the book.
Same logic applies to language on here which some find unacceptable.
If you haven’t heard it before, no worries.
If you have, and it still offends you, get over yourselves, it’s only words.
Offense should be taken if someone is deliberately verbally attacked on here, which has happened from time to time, but not over everyday words.
So, if my language is offensive to some on here, tough shit.
To paraphrase a quote from the movie Grudge Match,
“I’m 66 years old, have no filters, and I’ll say what the fuck I want”
And thank you Lee Gregory of Millwall tonight.
FOwb
Someone has already left because of swearing mate.
To be honest, I don’t really give a shit. I came on here because I could relate to who was on here. The banter is great. So there is an amount of piss taking, and the odd swear word, whoopee feking do, if people don’t like that then they can leave.
That said, if this becomes too PC cleansed then I may also go away. I now visualise Clive jumping with joy.
Great to hear your news about Sue’s mum!
I am also a big fan of the NHS. Without their foresight, skill, care and professionalism I might not be here today annoying all you lot.
And I must admit that I agree with every word you say regarding the posting of pictures on this site. It’s sad that all the visual memories which featured regularly on this site have been ‘disappeared’ like an Unperson from Orwell’s 1984.
I don’t see the point of being offended on behalf of other people.
Life’s too short.
Just get on and enjoy it while you can!
The weather forecast is not very pleasant tomorrow, and the game tomorrow my be very much the same. QPR to be very physical, so I expect at least a couple f sending offs and lots of stoppages, done to disrupt our rhythm
Hard work but another 3 points.
Blimey, not a bad few options to have on the bench. And not just the strikers. Having someone who has been as impressive as Norris as your reserve keeper ain’t bad!
Not up for debate Win to Wolves ?
Holloway can go and cook himself
We don’t have boogie teams anymore
Can’t see any changes to the starting line up but really don’t care who starts, who’s on the bench & who comes on – Nuno know’s best.
Someone’s gonna get a proper spanking soon so why not the hoops.
FOwb COMB
Soz if I offended anyone with my spanking reference.
Soz also if there is anyone uncomfortable with the use of boogie in my last blog
& actually as far as Holloway goes he really can go & cook himself.
Big shout out for Mildenhall
Hi Newark,
Brilliant post I am new to the blog and have enjoyed the banter and picture’s and have met three great people from the blog Mark and Sue and Bog great people, pleased your mum in law is ok my other half is a ward sister with the NHS and it is great to see some recognition for the hard work they do her shift will finish early hours, few hours sleep then off to the Golden Palace.
We Are Wolves
Welcome Dorset.
You have actually met three of the best people off this blog, anyone else you run into will be a disappointment, especially anyone from Texas!!
Enjoy the game tomorrow, and when the cameras are pointing your way, give me a wave, I will be in t shirt and shorts, relaxing with a full monty and a cuppa joe!!
Clive,
I sincerely hope they are not euphemisms cus yowl get banned.
In fact yoo wanna be careful as I thought you’re picture would also have been removed!
Glad to see Warnock the wanker having a moan tonight.
What a shame what pity.
Ah didums
We should be able to show our class against teams like QPR now but be prepared for more Clog Dancing from them, double shin pads all round, and a scrum cap for Jota.
3-0 home win
Good news from Milwall as Cardiff thugs drop 2 point.
I’ve been off footy sites due to a degree of Brexit depression and an idea that Mrs Prawn has been feeding me hallousiagens but I genuinely struggle to see how we can lose another match this season. I’m sure we probably will but I don’t think it will be tomorrow.
PS. Who cares about anyone else. This is entirely in own hands.
Cheers Clive for your kind comments.
Wolves Aye We.
I have decided not to comment any more on this blog. I don’t want to offend the Small c brigade because they are offended by the’F’word. Snowflakes.
Cheesey…Do you still want a programme from the ODI against NewZealand in Christchurch ….
… let me know asap as off tomorrow..
The f word. Floppin. A favourite word of the great Stan Cullis, so I’ve been told.
My would have been son in law supports the hoops, and was gutted when he had bragging rights earlier in the season. Go forward a few months, he called the wedding off, cleared back off to mummy and daddy’s, claimed my daughter is a psycho. He’s cost her about £3500!!!, and because he owes £000’s to a debt management company, she’s had to kiss it goodbye. Since I can’t stuff him, I want his team to be stuffed instead (sorry guys, rant over)
Telford,
Sounds to me like she had a near miss.
Trek her up the Mol, av a drink befour & watch the mighty wolves put 7 past Holloway and his hoops.
You’ll both feel a darn site better…

Well I’ll add my vote, Marney. I certainly don’t want to live in a p c world (that ain’t selling computers) of meddlesome ratbags where people start sucking lemons at the sight of a pretty girl or a bit of frustrated effin amd jeffin when the team struggles (remember that?).
See my post above re who decided this and then with no justification just removes it – let us have a democratic vote – pictures are no more than you can see on any beach anyway and a lot of the pics were a amusing, some informative, world has gone mad
I think we should have a vote first on whether we should have a vote on photos. Surely that’s the democratic thing to do.
Seriously, if Ben and Thomas think it was getting a little out of hand, it’s their baby. I’ll go with whatever they decide. Besides, I never worked out how to do it.
Steve,
Sometime ago you commented on my post in Norwegian and asked how I placed an æ together. I did not tell you if I remember. If you press and hold the letter in question you will see it gives you an option. Hope that answers your question, albeit belatedly.
Thanks for that Brompton. It sounds simple enough, but it won’t work for me. 🙁
My abacus and crystal ball tell me the following:
We have 16 games left.
Win 5 and we’ll probably be promoted.
Win 6 and we’ll definitely be promoted.
Win 7 and we’ll probably be champions.
Win 8 and we’ll definitely be champions.
So there you have it – win our remaining home games and the title is ours. We can even afford to lose 50% of our remaining games – thus far we’ve only lost 13%.

I’ve certainly been tempted to go, as many others have done, for a big win. Still going for a win – what else can you do – but on a more modest scale. Nuno’s style seems to be about solid control rather than all out attack … last week was a good example, they didn’t stop attacking, but they didn’t open themselves up by playing risky passes which ultimately give the ball to the opposition and put more pressure back on the defence ….. and it worked to perfection, the other chances we had were well worked, but we’re not going to score with every shot/header.
Of course I could be wrong and it could be a crib-board job …. isn’t that the beauty of he beautiful game? COYW
May not be quite as easy as everyone seems to think.
Apparently QPR are gonna try and win it. Perfect. They won’t break through, we’ll get the first and stroll to another 3-0.

Reviewing all the score predictions this week sure shows how we are all feeling about our team. It used to be that only Clive would stick to his beloved 5-1. This week sees a plethora of 4, 5 and a couple of sixes even!! Blimey even Clive had to upscale. Let’s hope their manager doesn’t come up with their prime plan (kick all our players off the park- I believe he calls it close marking). Will be interesting to see what forward line our Nuno comes up with.
Now Cotswold Wolf’s gone, can we have the pics back?
I don’t mean to be flippant but if having to scroll past, or ignore, slightly tittylating (Ooops! sorry if I’ve spelt that wrong) pictures is a valid reason for leaving the blog, then I am surprised to say the least.
qpr will finish this with 9 men .
the only way to stop us is to kick us off the pitch off the ball and hope the ref dont see owt.
but he will so 9 men.
prediction…..
mildenhall wins the vote by a mile.
he has mine !
Wolves 3 QPR 1 or Wolverhampton Wanderers 3 Queen’s Park Rangers 1
It’s 7 degrees Celsius there. It’s – 7 Celsius here in Toronto.
I feel your pain.
Probably just as well the censors have stepped in, otherwise we might have some saucy images of ex-Wolf Jermaine Pennant gracing our blog! Plus the missus as well. Anyone seen the story in The Scum ?
Just hoping for good football and evidence of the team continuing to pull together, everything else will fall into place.
WOLVES, THE TEAM THAT JUST KEEP GIVING…COYW
Millwall 1-1 Cardiff
Bristol City 3-3 Sunderland
Detby 1-1 Norwich
Bolton 1-1 Fulham
Brentford 1-1 Preston
Wolves 2-1 QPR
Villa ?-? Blues
Just saying…………..
Footy Dogs are smiling again.
F–k me the Redrow signs are gone and the Wolves win COYW
Basherbaz.
I was waiting for you to come on here and say that 🙂
I was outside Molineux waiting for the bus back home at 9-30am this morning, they were taking the Money Shop flag down by the Billy Wright statue. I thought about you, then this afternoon my mate told me the Redrow shite was gone and I thought you’d be in Chinese New Year heaven.
It’s also the year of the Dog, (Wolf).
Footnote…..
(They then took the EFL flag down too, maybe that was a tad early, best keep it for 7 more wins at least)
How did we play Stu? What I read was ok but that we were under pressure at the end. I also read Afobe missed a couple, h o w was he.
Steve,
Even I’m getting twitchy, we are so close, (well even closer now with all them below us dropping two points each)
First half we dominated after 2 early scares in first 5 minutes. Second half got nervy as they lobbed high balls over our defence, it took some heroic defending to say the least. But, we’re the only ones to win out of the top bunch, it takes games like this to get over the line. Afobe is so desperate for that goal, he worked so hard but no end result.
Can’t believe the bloggers we ran into.
Was with Twix and Lilian.
Met LWL (the English one)
Whitly wanderer.
Exciled wolf.
His daughter and son in law.
Dougie Singh
Wolfstroker
BTW.
Preston a sell out 5600
Fulham only 300 tickets left
Life is good.
Thx Stu. See you in Preston.
Thanks for that Stu, Fosun era is brilliant, Coady off the line clearance today was epic. Was another game we would have drawn/lost in previous years. Money shop off the shirts at the end of the season and promotion and we will all be in heaven.
B’ham to beat the vanilla tomorrow (fingers crossed)?
Just seen extended highlights of our game against QPR, not the viewing I expected. They gave us a real fright in the second half culminating with a goal line clearance by us late on. Make sure you watch on CH5 at 9PM tonight. The only good thing is that we don’t have to play them again but most of our title challengers do.
I think we played into their hands second half,It was it a master stroke by Holloway to bring on Matt Smith who caused us a lot of trouble,
But saying that we should have wrapped it up first half with a bucket full of goals instead of a couple.
Second half we were slow of the mark again and so gave them the emphasis to push on and score and put us under pressure, and thats what they did.We were lucky in the end.
I’m sure nuno will give them a bollocking the way we allowed them to come on to us the last 45 minuets by not closing them down to stop those ball coming into the box.
All,s not lost because we have improved our points tally over our nearest rivals.
I’ve just watched a clip of a Duckens Nazons goal for Oldham.
NOT TOO BAD THANKS!
One for the future?

Sound mate will be in Auckland on 19 March if you about
Sorted …
We’ll be on our way back around then … ps …don’t quit on the blogging mate … this stuff is getting absurd and is overkill at its worst …
there wouldn’t be any newspapers, tv, reality crap etc if folks objected to anything they didn’t like …
For goodness sake everyone …. keep an open mind …. relax and unite …
Have had and are still having a fab weekend in Wolverhampton. Only met up with ExiledWolf up to now.Just chilling in the hotel but won’t comment anymore as some saddo will find fault in anything you say on the blog these days.
Yeah, I’m offended coz you haven’t said anything to offend me.
Oh, sorry, if I’ve upset anyone by my bad spelling.
And sorry again if my apology is not good enough and is offensive to someone else.
If so, bollocks and fuck off.
This pc shit is all fucked up.
Bring back tits and asses and lovely legs…………….and women as well !!!
Because you wrote tits and fuck and stuff I have to advise you on behalf of the management team that you are banned……… for a couple of hours. Have a nice day and come back soon.
Brompt,
Because you repeated the obsenaties the managements senior management has decided to start your ban when Clive’s is lifted.
I’m getting worried that there’ll only be Thomas on here soon.
