Both Ben and I went to London Road back in sunny September, as Wolves eased to a comfortable 2-0 victory.

I left the ground that day thinking the Posh were already goners; zero points from their first eight matches giving them little reason for hope.
Immediately after though, they went on to win their next two matches and have since done a pretty good job of repairing the damage.
They arrive at Molineux on Boxing Day still bottom of the league but only 2 points adrift of safety and boosted by back-to-back victories over Cardiff and Bolton.
Scoring goals seems to be the key ingredient to their resurgence, as they’re still letting them in by the bucket load.
They’ve conceded 44 goals already this season. Only Bristol City (46) have been more generous. Wolves by comparison have only shipped 30.
Young striker Dwight Gayle, signed only last month from non-league Dagenham is a player to watch out for. He’s been in great scoring form with 5 goals in 6 matches.
Wolves
Three wins from the last four matches has given Wolves a great opportunity to cement a position in the top-half of the table before the New Year.
Say what you like about banana-skins and the return of familiar faces, but two home fixtures against Peterborough and Ipswich should be a six point return.
It will probably be the same team we saw against Blackpool:

But David Davis and perhaps even Bjorn Sigurdarson could be pushing for a start. Other players will likely come into the equation too with a handful of fixtures pushed together over the next ten days.
Doumbia looked jaded again at Blackpool. I remember fondly how strong he was against Posh in the return fixture. He dominated that game and was unplayable throughout. A return to that sort of form is long overdue.
Predictions
It’s raining points in the PL after the Blackpool game. 22 people got the correct outcome, but a stonking 12 of those doubled up to make it a very Merry Christmas.
Well done to theDOOGooder, Phil, Brizzie, goldcoastkiddywolf, johnok, NY Wolf, Cwmbranwolf, robertsbridgewolf, Banbury Wolf, Rob in London, Robc306 and Wolfman Steve.
Has to be a win for me. I think there will be a few goals too.
3-2.
I’m currently trying to get a Christmas quiz live that Ben’s been manfully chipping away at, but in case I’m not successful, from both of us, have an amazing Christmas.
Up The Wolves.

A very merry 3 – 1 to the Wolves.
Thanks for all the blogs fella’s and a Merry Christmas everyone.
I will go along with that, Merry Christmas all and a better Wolves in the New Year, 3 -1 to the Wolves – come on me babies
May I wish both Ben & Thomas a very Merry Christmas chaps, and a very Happy New Year. If I have a new years resolution its to watch MOD all over again and enjoy Chelsea scoring 8 past a hapless Villa side. Just shows how far our team is from having the right players to succeed in the prem.
As for Boxing Days game, I can`t get there I`m afraid, and in view of the remarkable scores in our opponents last two matches, it could be a cracker. If they have found a very pacey forward, no guesses who he will be running at on Wed.
Have to believe we will win so go for 4-2 and hope Ikeme has another inspirational day.
I wish you both (Ben and Thomas) a fantastic Xmas, and thanks for the gold and black passion that you create in this blog.
Ben .. it must be a pleasure for you to be sitting so close to me! .. See you on Wed.
As for the Posh I am predicting a 3-1 to me babbies, which, if it pans out will make a great Xmas for all of us.
Merry Christmas Mr Twix. Hope mines got a bit of seasonal cranberry sauce on it Boxing Day:-)
Scooped .. yours can have whatever you ask to be put on it ..
Have a lovely xmas .. see you on Wed.
Stale is going STALE like left over Christmas turkey for me WHY WHY does hie keep faith with this defence even Foley now is dropping down to Ward, Bera and Johnsons standards just like playing with the best players can raise a players game the opposite applys if you play with shit players you become shit the season is a right off all ready I can even see Ipswich not just beating us but finishing above us at this rate when Stale watched all those videos did Morgarna and Poxey some how cut
Out the bad bits like the hole back four I despair I really do I can take
Losing if you can see players trying and learning from there mistakes but
They haven’t for the last three years and this defence carnt if you gave them 30 years OPEN YOUR EYES STALE McCarthy does not need a team talk for next week he’s laughing his bollocks off him and Connor
Merry Crimble to everyone & thanks very much for the blog, Ben and Thomas.
I’m going for a 4-0 win to us, think we have turned the corner and the footballing future is brightly black & Gold!
Like to mention Roger Johnson, whom I derided last year and at the beginning of the season.
He has shown a lot of character and guts to turn his form round.
Well done to him, hope he scores against Ipswich!
Off for festivities best wishes to everyone.
Wolves 5-2 Posh
Here’s hoping for a Christmas miracle.
Shall I continue with the rest of my wish list on my letter to Santa??
Loving the Blog Ben and Thomes, keep up the great work – Merry Christmas from Huddersfield.
Merry Xmas to you all!
Lots of goals but a draw I’m afraid! 3-3
Posh looking on form but in this league that seems to mean nothing. I’m going for 3-0 to the wolves. Back home for the christmas period so I’ve managed to grab a seat up in the Steve Bull for this one. Be cheering on the boys with all the christmas spirit I can muster.
Merry Christmas to you all. See you at the Molineux!
A Merry Christmas to all.
And a two-all draw.
I am disapointed we are still showing little sign of producing a better style of football and will go 2-2. Merry Christmas to all the regulars and the 2 top boys.
2-2
Gutted i cant make it but will be there for Ipswich game. Another Wolves win for me, possibly 3-2. Merry Xmas everyone
Merry Christmas all… COYW!
Wolves with a 3-1 win me thinks. Would like to see Doyle deeper in a 451, and doumbia rested at the start, Let him come on as an impact player , his fitness is still dodgy. Could do a lot coming off the bench.siggy out right if fit. I think Davis deserves a start and needs to show he can perform consistently at this level.hard to look past SEB after his brace.
I would like to see nouble get a run out over Xmas.
Any way happy Xmas to Thomas and Ben and everyone involved in making this wolves blog streets ahead in the blogosphere !!! Big up yourselves!
Suppose I better start the Xmas shopping….
If Doumbia is tired now, poor lamb, then what’s he gonna be like after the next couple of weeks.
If he cant stand the heat then get him out of the Molineux kitchen!!
Mother in law in the house, so chaos reigns at Casa Clive.
As Big Mark says, fabulous to see Villa get their Christmas stuffing a couple of days early!

Merry Christmas everyone!! I must have had too much festive cheer already, but…
Wolves 5-1 Peterborough
Merry Xmas to you all from a very wet Isle Of Wight. Sadly no trips to the North Island for me over the Xmas period. I’m loving this good run and can see 6 points on the horizon but if we can only win 1 out of the 2 next games please let it be Ipswich.
Wolves 3 – 0 Posh
As I will be away for the festive game wolves 2 peter 1, wolves 2 ipswich 1. Come on the wolves.

Best wishes to all bloggers & a huge thanks to Thomas & Ben for all their dedication and hard work (and a not infrequent creative genius) over the past year.

I’m hoping for a 3-1 victory in a real Christmas cracker. Happy Christmas to all the Wolves Blog writers and readers.
We were shocking against Blackpool and Stale says we’re back on track?
Over-confidence does not suit Wolves, Posh to win 2-1.
Seasons Greetings to one and all.
Wolves 2 – Posh 0
Merry Christmas and best wishes to you all.
6 points from those 2 home games would be brilliant.
Another 2-0 win against the Posh.
Merry christmas everyone. Hope Santa’s benn kind to you all. The poor chap’s got no children of his own you know. Well he only comes once a year and THAT’S down the chimney. BOOM BOOM!
Thomas and Ben thankyou both for another superb effort in 2012 which has left the blog where it started the year, in a league of it’s own.
As for the result, i have a horrible premonition that Posh will carry on from their last two games and repeat the result at Cardiff with another 1-2 win. Praying i’m wrong though.
Wolves 3-1 Posh
Merry Christmas everyone.
2-1 to us me thinks.
Just finished my smoked salmon and scrambled egg breakfast.
About to down the first Bucks Fizz of the day, swiftly followed by a couple of bottles of Yellow Tail Shiraz.
In a positive frame of mind.
2-0 to the Wolves.
Like your style DOOGooder. Wolves win all th way. I have to ask though, seeing as it is Christmas, and I have thought about this for long enough. What and where is your “Avitar” from? It keeps reminding me of “Withnail and I”
Spill the beans. I spent$ $2.89 for a can of Heinz for my Christmas breakfast.
Seasonal Cheers US Wolf!
It’s actually a picture of me taken in the photography department at Wolverhampton Art College, the same week that I watched my first match at the Molineux.
Rather more years ago than I care to remember – if I say that Peter Knowles was playing for us you’ll have an idea of when.
DOOGooder, I used to deliver the Express and Star to Peter Knowles on my paper round. My dad always told me how he quit the game for religion when he was such a phenomenon. Never saw him on the pitch, only every evening when I dropped off the newspaper. Thought nothing of it at the time. He lived in Wheaton Aston in Staffordshire where I grew up, and maybe still does? Geoff Palmer used to come and visit somebody a few doors round from my parents Sometimes, and Derek Parkin lived in the next village Bishops Wood. Of later fame, Mike Stowell lived in Wheaton Aston and I would see him regurlarly in my Local. Met Bully too once in the Hartley Arms, but can’t keep name dropping.
I USED TO WORK AT TARMAC NEXT TO MOLINEUX WITH A BIRD CALLED LYNN EVANS ! SHE USED TO BE A BARMAID AT THE HARTLEY IN WHEATON ASTON ! THE VAUGHN ARMS AT LAPLEY GOOD FOOD GREAT ALE .THE OWNER ROY IS WOLVES DAFT !! DONT WANT TO TALK FOOTBALL ! TO PAINFUL ! fwaw !
I went to school with Lyn Evans. Know her and her brother Mark (Evo) well. The Vaughn used to be my go to pub when I lived in the UK, I frequented it all the years Roy had it. The homemade beef madras on a Monday was second to none. Sadly, the place is closed and boarded up now. That was where I used to see Mike Stowell most Sunday lunchtimes.
In regards to additional name dropping, my only other one of note is that my Wolves Mad cousin, of now Manchester Wolves supporters club, used to play with Andy Mutch at Southport.
The team that I started my lifelong Wolves following with was: Bradshaw, Palmer, Parkin, Daniel, Hughes, Berry, Hibbitt, Carr, Gray, Richards, Eves. Used to stand on my beer crate in the North Bank with my Dad. Grew to be 6’5″ so navigated the terraces more easily later in life. My dad still has a season ticket, now in the Billy Quiet.
I’ll pass on your kind comments to Roy. He is my uncle and now retired. The pub was ‘superb’ and had a great reputation. Sad to hear it’s now closed.
Keep on name dropping US Wolf – they were names worthy of remembering.
Wonder how many of the present lot we’ll be talking about in 40 years time!
I feel we’ll be fine as long as we score first – early pressure like we had vs Blackpool would do us great!
3-1 Wolves!
Wish people would get off Doumbia’s back. Some of his work in the 1st half at Blackpool was exemplary defensive midfield play. O.K. he’s not getting into forward positions so much but that may be because we’re effectively playing with 4 out and out attackers. Perhaps he’s under orders to stay at home.
Doumbia’s predicament reminds me of Dave Jones who went to Wigan. He looked good going forward when we played 3 in midfield not so good when out numbered and pushed back.
Merry Christmas fellow Wolves Bloggers! On Saturday I’ll be landing at Heathrow before driving north, where the good lady will drop me at the Golden Palace for my first Wolves game since 2007!!
Before that we will beat the Posh 2-0
Merry Christmas everyone. Wolves win 2 – 1
After all its christmas so I may just as well hope for some fun rather than guess conservatively. So my hope is that after this game, Peterborough is at a negative 20.
6-0 Wolves!
I’m on loan to Sedgley for the holidays, so I look forward to seeing some of you down the match tomorrow!
Two leaky defences, potential for goals, so I’m thoroughly looking forward to a riviting, end-to-end…
Wolves 1 – 0 Peterborough
Draw I think 2-2
l’m in two minds, with so much expectation Wolves usually disappoint however we are overdue a ‘ good’ win as opposed to a lucky one. The fans will be upbeat after we all got an early present at Blackpool so let’s hear the support throughout the match even during those nervous patches which are sure to occur. Going for 3 -1 to Wolves
One would suggest this should be an easy game for us, but we know that in the Championship and with our up-and-down form it might not be the case, especially considering Peterborough’s recent result against Cardiff. But I remain confident that we will win, perhaps with a bit of an unnecessary fight. I’m predicting a 3-1 win for Wolves.
Must win game.
Must be dominant.
Must be convincing.
3-0 UTW!
And I hope everyone’s had a very merry (and safe) Christmas!
Merry Christmas! Hope you’ve all had a good one! Wolves to win 2-0 – what the hell!!
DROSS OUT GET SOME DECENT PLAYERS IN.
WE ARE WORTH IT.
Merry Christmas to both Thomas and Ben along with all the Wolves bloggers. Now settled and loving life living in Oz with my family, I badly miss the banter and every day chat with fellow Wolves fans. The express and star is obviously a good source of news but I did find the bulk (not all) of the fans comments totally frustrating. I love this site and really appreciate all the work you put into it. Thanks guys.
2 – 0 (Doyle and Blake)
Welcome to Oz mate, though we have a dumb bitch of a leader though :/
My head hurts, my belly feels like its been napalmed and the air bed I slept on was the furniture equivalent of Ward at LB in the prem – not fit for purpose.
Ho hum, off to the Mol today for the first time since we got spanked by the unmentionables, hoping the lads will put the smile back on my face.
Us 3 Them 0
Some people pay good money to be spanked by the unmentionables!
Thus speaks the voice of experience!!
Clive it takes one to know one!
Does anyone know of a live stream for todays game, Im having trouble finding one!!!
A miracle has occurred. O’Hara on the bench, just in time for the transfer window.
Stearman £1.8m? The idea is to get rid not keep!
I think we might win this one, Wolves win 2-1
Why do we have to be so bloody inconsistent?? Great win at Blackpool and now 3-0 down – what happened??
Hamlet, I really believe its time for Stale to be sacked. Half way through the season and, Stale cannot figure it out means, he’s a really poor manager. Now look at McCarthy, he’s slowly turning Ipswich around. Same players different tatics etc.
I cannot believe that overall, this is the same team from the Premiership except Jarvo and Flethcher. At this rate, we maybe in a fight to stay in the Championship. I really hope that the knuckheads in charge, the crappy upper management go get a manager that knows what the heck he’s doing.
Very disapointed in Atlanta….
Don’t forget, it is the shit players that Mick left behind. And have you forgotten how crap things were with Mick already?
Give Ståle time and a few transfer windows and then give your judgment.
Sorry but I disagree
The players that played today that this manager has brought in were no better than what we had last season. They were miles off the pace and lacked effort and basic ball control skills.
I wouldn’t Trust him with any more money, what we need is a manger who is experienced at English football.
He has had over 20 games now and there is an element of Luck that we have 31 points.
No improvement from the start of the season.
Well, it wasn’t a good block, if we didn’t dosagree sometimes.
What I have seen this season is a string of average performances from Mick’s old guard and when we have seen the odd flash of brilliance it has been from Sako or Sigurdarsson.
What I have also seen this season is a manager that has the ability to adapt tactically to new situations. When things go badly, he tries to turn things around. What Mick did was nothing. And his tactic was always to put in a shift. It seems to work short term – as it does at Ipwswich at the moment – but not in the long run.
I believe we must give Ståle time to implement his ideas and not go for a short term quick fix that will not take us to the next level in the longer run.
Disagree on the “tactical adaptation” point. Mick went from a 4-4-2 to a 4-5-1 to solidify things when we were getting hammered in the Prem. Stale has changed exactly as much as MM in that regard, only the other way around. Like many others, I am yet to be impressed.
Heh…bet you’d love the Forest owners! You’ll find that Moxey and Morgan are more patient than they are!
perhaps a realisation that the damage inflicted last season has been seriously under estimated by many. (not directed towards you my friend)
In fairness I think the win at Blackpool would be better described as fortunate. Todays performance showed just how fortunate. Ironic, (or embarrassing), that a few days ago SS claimed we were “back on track”.
Well…. That was a shitty let down! I really don’t know what to say…
I’m just pissed I got the score wrong. Could have used the extra point in the prediction league.
Do these players really want to play for SS? If this carries on-how lucky we’re we to beat
Blackpool-we are going to struggle to stay in this division.
Problem is what’s the plan, does anybody know?
At the risk of being boring need investment, will the Undynamic Duo back SS?
Think there is a chasm between SS and Moxey.
Also think there is a chasm between Stale and most of the players.
timberwolf. Yes always felt there was a hardcore of Players loyal to MM and Clipboard that were proving difficult for SS to win over. I am hoping that some of these will be going in January.
I agree with Timberwolf on today’s evidence. Something massively wrong at the moment. Playing with passion and effort with this side still amounts to an uphill battle. Playing with neither ends up with a spectacle like this.
I can’t do a blog on this one unfortunately, but will try and get my creative juices flowing for Micks return.
Things are hopelessly depressing now, mainly because there appears to be no solution to offer us any hope. Only the window…
Would you seriously trust Stale with any money in January? As much as I despise Dumb and Dumber I could completely understand if they didn’t give him any money to spend.
Stale is just another Hoddle.
Dont think Solbakken is another Hoddle he seems to have stuck to the same formation and tactics as Mccarthy without having the same level of player motivation.
Fine lines isn’t it? Before this game, 3 wins in 4 and the loss was undeserved! Now 3 wins in 5 but the manner of this loss was appalling!
What pisses me off the most though is that had we won this (easily winnable) game we’d only be three points off the play-offs and look real contenders again!
and a chasm between the club and the fans!
Just seem to be playing the same 4-2-4 football without ‘putting a shift in’. Passing is often woeful. Cant see Solbakken lasting the season if things dont change.
I think Ståle should be sacked for buggering up my prediction points and ruining the day for all us fans, especially the ones who have made the long trip from across the pond to watch such rubbish.
What is happening here?
I thought that after the Bristol City match we had turned a corner but it just seems to be the same old crap with players either not wanting to, or not being able to, play the SS way.
I imagine that big Mick will be rubbing his hands together at the thought of proving a big point to Moxey and Morgan.
And to be honest, I don’t blame him.
DOOGooder SS way? All they have to do is pass to an old gold shirt, run a bit and not
make mistakes. Also they have to multi-task and defend,
And then turn defence into attack. Oh yeah and shoot and head at the goal.
Most teams can do that. We just have a number of Micks headless chickens.
Yes it’s all set up for Mick’s return. God help us.
to think last season we were singing we are premier league……..looks like well be singing we are numero uno league..its a sorry state of affairs . not sure how much longer it can be allowed to go on for remembering what was allowed last season..
oldgoldy, that takes responsibility and leadership, none of which Dumb and Dumber possess.
Afraid that more prevarication and squeezing out the last pound from outgoing transfers will mean we again will miss out on targets.
Think that SS would go for quality that costs and Greaseball doesn’t like that at all.
“My Precious nobody gets my precious” with a nod to Tolkien.
It’s a complete shambles. Where’s Morgan’s plan then? Oh yeah it’s emptying the tills at the shop and museum, I forgot.
alf mate … its worrying at best and mind numbing at worst….weve reversed 30 years and its the fans left wondering where its all gone pete tong
old godly I can sum it up in two words Dumb and Dumber.
you are spot on …i cant see the ability to improve until changes are made .. but thats about as likely as as villa fans with big smiles!
Back on track! What a joke
Sean O’driscoll sacked at Forest after beating Leeds 4-2 ??? Thats the championship Stale better get his a*** into gear !
I’d love to see WWFC find a role of some sort for O’Driscoll whose teams have always tried to play a passing game and who worked minor miracles at Bournemouth and Doncaster, but I can’t see it happening.
The manager will not be sacked for 2 reasons.
1. It would mean greasel and that other twat admitting they picked the wrong man.
2. It would mean paying off his contract, which is anathema to the two turds.
McDickwadhead will roll into the Molineux this weekend, head held high, with nothing to lose.
His sycophantic has beens who still get picked to play for US will fawn and grovel before the kick off, and I would not be surprised to see a few own goals, by players in Gold and Black.
What a circus is heading to town!!!
Begs the almost philosophical question: is Ward really classy enough to deliberately score an own goal?
Our Stephen will spend the whole game with his nose up McDickwadhead’s arse!!
Cive from Houston,
1.) McCarthy gave this club the best 4 years in a long time, and if I could afford the airfair back home would applaud his return to the Molineux.
2.) Stale Solbakken is the way forward. just give the bloke time. you wouldn’t send an apprentice with fresh ideas down the Banburys on his first day would you?
Anybody Got a spare tin of Paint …
(Before anyone replies to that it was meant as a festive joke ! )
So what are we going to do about it? Go on a blog and get angry or organise some form of meaningful protest about the disgraceful direction this club is heading.?
Like last season when there were several protests inside and outside the ground and the only change we got was Terry Connor being installed as manager??
They don’t listen and they never will. Unfortunately (and it’s not unique to our club because it’s happening all over the country) fans don’t matter any more.
the ONLY thing that will make ginger pubes and sad act take notice of the fans is stop going and stop buying from the club…anything else is seen as an annoyance that will go away…
I defended Stale when some fans were calling for his head after a few weeks of the season. It was far too soon but he has now been here for nearly 6 months and i am looking for what impression he has made on the players, the team shape and the tactics. Have to conclude hardly any. Still hoping he can be a success but not holding my breath.
Halfway through the season and only 31 points, assuming the target for the playoffs is the same as last year, we are going to end up about a dozen points short. Mid- table mediocrity is all we can aim for now, if we can double our current points tally, 13th place is a possibility based on the 2011/12 table; not good but better than league one which is where this afternoons performance was heading.
If there is anything positive I can take from today it’s that Ward was taken off and Ohara appeared not to have lost his touch. Well that’s my Christmas spoiled, let’s hope Mick doesn’t spoil the new year.
.. that has to be the worst performance for a long time .. pedestrian, one paced (slow), no penetration, predictable .. all the bad things that we have identified many times over. My question re the manager is .. why does he just let it carry on in the hope it might get better. Most decent moves would be ranting, cajoling, motivating the key players .. US not a hope and arguably .. not a clue. I really believe this is a bad appt. Sadly it won’t make much difference to our two management peers. They are happy to see the dross continue without any substantial urgently needed investment. IT DOESN’T BODE WELL AT ALL..
New years revolution – give him cash to spend, if we don’t improve come march, april then the other two muppets should know he was the wrong choice and in clandestine organize a replacement .Now all that saying we’re not in the relegation zone by then. I do feel ss is a good manager . Does he fit our need at the moment I dunno yet. I’m still holding judgement ..
The time stale would have suited to come in was after Swansea game Last autumn 2011. ( obviously he was with cologne, but hypothetically )
Well said Raydewolf, but we are here now, back him!
Agreed alf, let’s see how things go over the next few months. I like managers to have a fair crack
i really dont think giving him money to buy will make a difference…if he has failed to motivate this lot it gives the fans an insight as to his managerial ability- based on that he really doesnt look up to the job! mick WILL be motivating his side and it could really be a cricket score next week!
And I see Berg has been sacked at Blackburn this morning…following O’Driscoll last night…would we rather have Middle Eastern owners who want to run the club like a real life football manager game or the present set up who want to run the club like a profitable business knowing that we won’t ever bring silverware to the club because we can’t spend money to do it?…personally I would like something in the middle but there aren’t many chairman out there who are like that, so basically we are knackered and just have to hope that we get a manager in who has got great man management skills and can spot a bargain…like Mad Mick perhaps…and we are back to square one!!…perhaps Stale is the man, but he has to be backed come Jan, as he should have been in July / August…and if he isn’t then we will be back to being a run of the mill mid table Championship side.
UTW
Hey, we could get Berg in for a quick, no-risk trial. The players are so dozy and distant that they’d think it was still Stale coaching them …
I’ll get me coat.
Things are pretty dire at the moment and it is difficult to see any positives. We just seem to be going backwards. We’ve had some wins in the last 5 but performances have been poor and anyone can see we are not promotion material at the moment. Can Staale turn it around? God only knows. For my part I can’t see what our long term plan is. I can’t really see much change in our playing style since Staale took over except we are narrower. If there was just some hint that things were improving I could live with that but I don’t think there is. I don’t think that we have moved forward under Staale – if I’m honest we have probably moved backwards. To suggest we’ve turned the corner and are back on track is laughable.
The January window is upon us and I wonder if Staale will be backed financially or if we will just get a couple of loan players back, maybe a couple of cheapo foreign loans / buys and have a nearly fit again O’Hara. Will we ever see the transfer money we brought in last summer, the parachute payments and the mythical “treasure chest”. My head tells me little will be made available for strengthening – I’ve heard it all before.
Would like to be able to look forward to the New Year football wise but I’m struggling to at the moment.
Steppenwolfe- When SS gets a fully fit squad, we may see the fruits of his labour.
What the hell does Daley do but get players crocked?
Thing is time is running out and The Gruesome Twosome are sitting on their hands.
Looks like they have buried the War Chest under the new stand.
Seriously if we don’t put a run together we will be in a relegation scrap.
In Stale i trust…..Give him time do not do a Blackburn, I think it all went pear shaped against Cystal Palace….need Pzeko back and fit…..the goal provider!
I reckon we should give the manager at least until the end of January to see
a) who he gets in, and
b) who he gets rid of.
If he does neither, then we are well and truly bolloxed, stuck with McDickwadhead’s crap.
If, as we all hope, he gets in new faces upon whom he’s had his eyes for a while, AND disposes of the previous manager’s unwanted garbage, then we’ll have a fighting chance.
We live in hope that he has a cunning plan, and that he is the man to stand up to greasel and morgan, and demand change.
If it dont happen, lets hope he is man enough to resign on principle, and we can all move forward.
We need the press to be writing about us for our footballing exploits, not about another memnber of the managerial merry go round club association thingy.
It pains me to write this, but we need to model ourselves after the shit, they are doing quite nicely at the moment.
Changing the subject, nice to see Tottenham being in the Christmas spirit yesterday, giving Villa a second helping of Christmas stuffing in a few days!!
Yesterday I watched a desperatly poor football team comprehensivly loose 0-3 to Peterbourgh who were before the game at the foot of The Championship. I conclude that this manager is taking us nowhere the team is bereft of ideas and confidence. Sub standard players that dispite lack of technical ability survived under an ethos of hard work and played with heart and charecter have become complacent. 4 wins at home this season tell the story. Sorry to say the Norwegien experiment is failing. I can’t see what this group of players are trying to acheive. I am so not enjoying the football this season.
I’m afaid to say that Ipswich will win this game 3-1. Mad Mick knows how to play each player after all, they are his recruits. Upper management need to give Stale plenty of green to spend during January or, Wolves will be playing in League One. It’s unbelievable how bad this team is.. Lord help us. Happy New year to all of the Wolves fans in the homeland and, around the world…
What a sad state of affairs! Just read that Griffiths would rather stay out on loan to Hibs. Just shows what a mess this once great club of ours has become.
