Had that goal been given at Leicester it really would have been a 10/10 start.
Still, getting on the board in a tough fixture is not to be sniffed at and with relaxed progress in Europe, we’re perfectly set coming into this one.

Utd couldn’t find a way to beat Wolves in three games last season despite taking the lead in two of those contests.
With a couple of Molineux defeats still fresh in the memory it will be intriguing to see how that impacts on their mentality this time.
For Wolves, it’s about replicating what they’ve done so many times before, which is providing maximum resistance and striking when the opportunities present themselves.
Man Utd
Building from the back is never a bad idea and as such, I thought Utd did good business over the summer.
In Harry Maguire and Aaron Wan-Bissaka, they’ve added two high performing Premier League defenders who will significantly improve their team.

The balance in midfield remains a question mark and Chelsea exploited a lot of gaps at Old Trafford last weekend before succumbing to a 4-0 drubbing. Most agree that the game could easily have gone very differently.
I still look at many of their players; Rashford, Pogba, Martial, Lingard, etc and question whether they have the consistency to be right at the very top. They certainly have the quality.
They won 9 and lost 7 away from home last season and that return leaves Ole Gunnar Solskjaer with good scope for improvement.
This feels like it’s a more important game for them than it is for us as a marker of what they might expect in the weeks and months to come.

The away end
Some thoughts lifted from the pre-match thread on the Red Cafe Forum:
They caught us cold last season. Our teams fitness was running out and we had injuries. You could also bring into question our desire to beat Wolves. I hope that they all remember those defeats and use it as motivation. We need to match their work rate this time round. We are much more dangerous going forward, and now with a solid defense, we won’t be torn apart so easily. Midfield is the area where the battle will be won. We just need to dominate them through pure grit.
We’ve got to move the ball a lot faster in this one as Wolves are lethal on the counter. The amount of times Pogba and McTominay got caught on the ball against Chelsea was insane. I think James should come in for Pereira.
Expect a tougher game than Chelsea of course. Not because I think Wolves are necessarily going to be better than Chelsea over the course of this season, but Wolves are at home, will be fitter having played competitive football for a couple of weeks and have Jimenez & Jota in attack. If we give away the kind of chances we gave to Chelsea in the first half, Wolves will score. Still, I’ll go with a 1-2 victory for us. We need to find that right midfield balance and keep picking the right moments and passes in counter attacks like the second half against Chelsea. Very similar line-up.
Ole’s counter attack style so far worked very well against team who is looking to attack. Which is also why we did relatively well last season against the top 6 teams. The concern remains whether we can break teams down who set up shop to defence, which is what Wolves will do.The only thing I felt easier about the coming match (despite our 2 away loss last season) is Maguire and AWB, so we are unlikely going to be caught with our pants down should Wolves tries to sucker punch us with a counter.
Wolves
Thursday showed Nuno has a good handful of very useful players ready to come in when needed, but the first XI still feels locked down.

It’s good that six of the above will have had over a week to recover, while the others only played bit-parts against Pyunik.
Funny that Moutinho was out there clocking up more minutes with most suggesting he’d be the one who needed the rest. He is some player and never for one-second looks off the pace.
Hopefully, Jota’s confidence goes through the roof after that stupendous finish. Our forwards taking their chances will likely be the key factor in whether we get a result.

The poll
Predictions
Hats off to Death of an Electric Citizen who registered a maximum in Gameweek 1 to take an early lead in the Prediction League table.
Some 28 others correctly guessed the right outcome without the score so well done to everyone.
As always, if you’d like to join in, simply leave your best guess for the score in the comment section below using the boxes provided.
That’s where you’ll find my best guess for this one.
Up The Wolves!

Going for another draw.
I think they’ll have a very specific game plan and play with more patience to avoid being caught on the counter. They’ve had over a week to get ready too which is handy.
But I still believe we’ll cause them problems and find a way to score. As one of the Utd fans says above, the midfield is where it could be won and lost. Ours is a finely tuned machine and they’re not quite as organised. That could tip it in our favour in a game of fine margins.
Let’s go for same as last season and another Man. U. hammering…….
Great blog as ever Thomas.
Fancy us for at least a point in this one.
Jota will relish getting at Shaw and Lindelof again, with his partner in crime Raul also getting in on the action. United’s midfield doesn’t worry me in the slightest, especially McTominay, who is average at best. Apart from the goal, he was anonymous in the league defeat. Give me Neves and Moutinho over McTominay and Pogba any day of the week. On their day, Martial and Rashford can cause problems, but Lingard is extremely overrated.
Interesting to see how this one will go. In the Cup, we sat back at first and then sprung into life on the counter. In the league win, after going 1-0 down, we enjoyed just as much possession as United, and dictated for long periods.
I think we have their number and I wouldn’t be surprised by another 2-1 win.
Good preview Thomas.
I can see us winning this one. We’ll dominate the midfield, keep that overrated idiot pogba quiet and cause their backline no end of problems. Jota and Jimenez look so confident and sharp and I can see them both scoring against them again.
Cautiously optimistic for this one! We will know a lot more about Man U’s position and mental strength after this game. Pleased to see Tarore playing well and hope Nuno brings him on as a sub to scare the hell out of the Reds! Backing our defense for another clean sheet!
An interesting game so early in the season. Our ‘pre season’ has gone fantastically well and a point away for the 1st game of the season is encouraging. Our confidence going into this game must be soaring and although l think most of us would accept, grudgingly, a point , l have a feeling that we may just wrap up all 3.
They are really going to want to get one over on us after the two defeats on quick succession last season but i fancy us tomorrow. The 4-0 flattered them against Chelsea and I still think their midfield is poor, both teams like to counter so it will be interesting to see how the tactical battle plays out. Positive results go to Italy full of confidence. What a time to be alive!!!!
May the clean sheets continue !
Nothing to fear except fear itself a wise one once said
If we win this as I believe we will the press most likely are going to focus on the inadequacy of the opposition not on our ability
…..maybe they’ll wake up and smell the coffee when we’re top 6 ….2-0
I think Manure will improve this season and think they did well in the transfer market. Cant see them beating us but not convinced that we will do enough to win either. Its a sitting on the fence 1-1 draw for me.
Typical arrogance shown by the Man Utd fan in the preview, can never give credit where its due. We ‘sucker punched them’, lucky blah blah blah. We outplayed them at Old Trafford and out thinked them at the Molineux. They are the team I most like to see lose especially when its us doing it to them.
That said I think they will be unpredictable and they do have dangerous players. Going for a narrow 2-1 victory again to us. Think we should go with Vinagre over Otto in this one.
Many people say we caught these teams off guess last season and that won’t happen again this season. Most of the games were on the television so they should have known exactly what to expect.
Anything can happen in a one game situation but I’m going to predict a win.
Doherty will either score or assist.
1-0
Many people say we caught these teams off guard last season and that won’t happen again this season. Most of the games were on the television so they should have known exactly what to expect.

What this will likely come down to is whether our front two are able to take a good percentage of the chances that will undoubtedly come their way. After the Leicester misses, Nuno will surely have tried to hone their shooting boots so:
Good thing is there won’t be any VAR because the size of Shaw’s arse will ensure they can’t see anything. Pogba might as well pog off to the ASDA and buy some new socks such will the run around he will get by the maestro Moutinho. Ole at the wheel. My arse. He would be better off eating a wagon wheel. In fact his tactics will resemble wagon train as the Wolf pack surround his beleaguered troops. If Harry Maguire is worth 80 million then next door neighbours cat is worth at least £7.50. And next door neighbours cat is a better defender. You should see him running the pigeons off. Arran Wan Bassacker sounds like a cocktail you get in Malaysia .so all in all . Man Utd to he truly manured. WWFC 3 man u 1
I can only assume none of those United fans were at either of the games at Molineux last season, as they seem to think we had the luxury of catching them on an off day on multiple occasions. The reality is that there’s not a lot between our side and the current iteration of the Red Devils. In fact, I would say we are stronger in midfield! That was where the game was won in both of our home victories last year, and I think it’ll be the case again on Monday night.
A narrow Wolves win.
You work for Sky as well?
Watched Utd v Chelski on Sunday and was not impressed with either of them .
if they make the same errors against us we should surely get a couple of goals
COYW
2-1 win for Wolves after going in at half time 1-0 down.
Jota and Jimenez to score.
Draw, win, win. That was our record against Man U last season. There was a particularly delicious moment in one match when Pogba was dispossessed and we scored. Even in our struggles in the PL under Mad Mick, we were a bit of a bogey team for Man U. Who can forget us ending the Man U unbeaten run at Molineux after going a goal down?
We’ve had quite a summer so far, with only one goal (an own goal) conceded. As much as Man U will want revenge, I think they may be spooked by us. I’m going to stick my neck out and go for a 2-1 win against my initial thought of 1-1.
Oops. Forgot the score.
My heart says 2 to 1 Wolves.
Were looking tough to break down but they do have quality. Tight affair with defences on top. Either side could nick it, hopefully it will be us.
We have there number and they know it.
Both teams to score as i like their front two which is their only saving grace.
Wolves are a better allround team and our front two are better than theirs.
Very cagey first half followed by a barnstorming second.
Wolves to win….. of course
Just because they have spent £80 million on a donkey of a defender ain’t gonna improve their defence . If he is worth that much how much do you recon Coady is worth ?
All the pundits have us winning this and I agree . Sit in , defend well and hit them on the counter attack . Worked last season so it will work again
COYW
I was going to say 2-1 to Wolves, but that seems to be the opinion of most bloggers so far so I’m going for 3-1.
I appear to be sitting bottom but one in the Prediction League so I m prepared to gamble in an attempt to gain some points.
Failing that, I’ll change my name to ‘aaaaaaaDOOGooder’ so at least, alphabetically, I’ll appear higher up the League than people on the same (zero) points as I have.
Hang on a moment though, if it’s worked out alphabetically, I should be higher up the League already.
I’ll have a word with Thomas.
Anyway, where was I?
Wolves to win.
Going for a narrow win. Go Wolves!
OK, leaving a score prediction might just go some way to helping me climb the Prediction League.
Doog there’s a lot of us holding up the Prediction League at present. Fingers crossed that our strong bench backing up our first choice eleven help us crush Manure again.
COMBs!
Can only see this going one way wolves win
I thought 4 points from the first 2 games , along with Europa commitments, would be great return so having missed out on 3 from Leicester it’s looking like we have to turn Man U over again!
Before I continue though, I must admit that of all the so called ‘top six’ fans , I thought the Man U lot were fairly admirable
I
That said though, with all the noise about olly strengthening his wheel, I wondered if I would swap Maguire ( mid twenties) and bissako ( early twenties) with Boly ( mid twenties) and Vinagre. Nope , not in a heart beat
These are the days my friend
And I’m loving every minute
Come on you mighty wolves
( I’ve had a few btw)
Utw
It would seem a lot of Man U supporters have bought in to the myth that Wolves win because teams are mysteriously off their game when facing us. Long may it continue.
As ever a lot will depend on who wins the midfield. Except in the unlikely circumstance Pogba turns up I believe our well established trio will win that battle. On that basis 2-0 win.
My younger brother is a massive UTD fan and is still hurting from last seasons results against us 🙂
Hoping for another season of hurt and pain for him.
Wolves to continue their dominance over the Manure with a thrilling 1-0 victory.
Before the Pyunik game bumped into these three reprobates (Dougie aka Exiled Wolf, Clive from Houston and Steve aka Brompton). Mark Davies and Twixfix (aka The Stafford Sausage Stealer) were there too.
Funny how the only one wearing the right shirt is the ‘foreigner’!
OODCL
Sorry We missed you guys last night we were late arriving.
Will do better on Monday. Bring it on.
Cracking photo Bedders!!
Joke scoreline for Man Utd from last weeks game v Frank Lamps, hope they get over confident and the lack of familiarity with two new over priced defenders will work in our favour.
They wont like playing us, and they wont like the final score either, so lets get Molineux rocking as usual and enjoy the three points.
I posted this minutes before this new threat was launched.
So, with no apologies, I’m posting it again…
Firstly,
Mr & Mrs Lowves and Jen de Wolf and I picked up our Torino away tickets as soon as the ticket office opened today. So Tuesday 7:10 am, we’re Turin bound for four days. My first proper trip into Europe with the Wolves for 47 years, (Tottenham Hotspurms being the last, well they do talk a different language down there)
As the transfer window closed last Thursday I felt a tad despondent, but WTF do I know I’m just a pleb in these matters. Cue the Wolves recruitment team, then bish, bash, bosh, we have four potentially fantastic newbies.
As many on here know I’m a fan of the Vinagre, but that Neto he was sublime, Christ sake, he’s still only 18.
We have cemented a partnership like Bull and Mutch in the form of Jimenez and Jota, but in true Nuno style we now have Vinagre and Neto.
Three subs allowed each game, can teams cope with Vinagre, Neto and Cutrone for 45 minutes running the legs off some of these PL teams, then at the stroke of 60 minutes, on comes Jota, Otto and Jimenez to kill teams off.
Also we have an option for Ryan now, who although he is superb at times, is if I’m right the oldest player we have. (Unless Moutinho is older) so another option for Nuno is Vallejo, when he got into his stride had that quality that I have always thought Bennett lacks, that ability to run at players and make forward passes of the quality Vallejo was producing last night.
With Coady now firing long range passes to Traore with more accuracy, maybe Nuno has sorted out that Missing CB we just could not get over the line.
So all in all not too shabby Wolves, another great recruitment phase for our great club, the only way is up.
Those were the days my friend,
I hope they never end.
I’ll sing and dance, forever and a day.
We’ll live a life we choose,
We have an Emlyn Hughes,
His name is Coady, and he’ll fight all the way.
Business as usual at the Mol on Monday,
So,
Wolves 4
Man U 0
Gr8 pic stu, have a gr8 trip
Thanks Baz, going for “a win in Turin”.
Sitting on that fence again.
Some more nuggets unearthed last night in the shape of Neto, Cultrone and Vallejo… who despite a lesser opponent showed some really positive attributes to add to an already commendable squad.
Having been let down by some shabby refereeing last Sunday I feel that we’re in for some more shit referee medicine again on Monday…. John Moss was awful last time out for us v Man Utd and … we’ll… leopards don’t change their spots.
Still seems as though Man U fans feel their teams didn’t turn up last year and had a bad office day losing two and drawing one of our three encounters so let’s show them that we’re at the races again on Monday…..
Wolves to win again….
Think we can beat this bunch of pretenders.
Really sorry to those of you who are of the Christian persuasion but fuck off Man U. Your just not good enough
Yeah mate. Fuck off manure.
You’ve really upset me London. Its you’re. Everything else you say is perfectly acceptable.
I had an appointment with Death tonight.
Cheeseburger of, that is.
A very pleasant couple of hours spent in Novotel with the legend, happily reminiscing about Wolves of old, and him telling me tales of following England cricketers all over the world.
Top man.
I also had an extremely good time last night, with those other blogger legends, Dougie, Brompto, Mark G Davies, Bedders and Lord Twix.
Brompto was told by Mrs. Brompto to stay down here all weekend, something about a wild party or two up North, so he has brought his tent and is happily set up on the ring road median, down by the Penn Road island.
Last night’s game was a lesson in tactics.
First half, staying tight and compact, never letting the opposition get a sniff, second half, the hounds unleashed to run riot.
Brillo debuts by our newbies.
On to Monday.
They had several off days last season, coincidentally coinciding with meetings with us.
Well, they gonna have another off day on Monday, after which they will all be on their respective prayer mats, pleading not to draw us in any cup competitions.
We’ve always said someone, sometime is going to get an enormous spanking from us. This will be it.
Diogo’s goal yesterday will have settled all his nerves.
Patrick played well enough to deserve a goal.
His all round performance will have made our fearsome twosome up front realize that there is serious competition for their places, so their socks will be up and they will be super pumped.
Cannot see anything but a red mist, a mist of twisted blood from their defenders, especially Harry the Donkey.
We got our own Donk, who was robbed at Leicester, and who’s dander will be well and truly up.
5-1 to me babbeeez
Gotta say I was in awe of meeting Clive. So much so I bollocked two quick jars down before I met up with him at the Novotel for a couple of jars and a chat about all things blog, Wolves and other stuff. True legend. Gentleman. Wolves nutter. Black country bloke. Great couple of hours. We both agreed this is a special blog with special folks. Next reunion May. Wolves ay we!
Looking forward to the ball already! Hopefully in a sound proofed room so we can hear whats being said instead of listening to the God awful music from the crap band outside!
That apart the company was great and the stories better!!
Tough game in prospect and we will need all resilience to overcome this Man U side, their defence looks far less brittle. On the positive side, our bench will now have game changers in Cultrone and Neto- the latter looks to be a real find in the David Silva mould. Four points from next two home games. One all draw Monday with Cultrone to get the equaliser in stoppage time.
something to really look forward to for Monday night. Hoping that the Leicester match was a bedding in process, and tbf a draw away was not bad. The confident win in the week and the sublime Jota goal to top it off makes me more than hopeful.
Tough game coming. Going with a loss and hoping to be wrong
These are never easy to predict but if we are to make our presence felt this season these are games we need to win.
Wolves 2 – 1
Same, if not slightly optimistic.
RIP Peter Fonda.
Easy Rider was one of THE all time classic movies.
Couldn’t agree more Clive. I hadn’t heard of his passing, but it’s a great loss.
One of the great films with possibly THE greatest music soundtrack.
Neh! Neh! Neh! Fuh! Fuh! Fuh! Indians!
VAR inconsistencies already. If our goal was disallowed, how did the incident in the Liverpool v Chelsea game go unpunished which was almost identical? Double standards already or was it that the ref was a woman FFS what is the game coming to?
Rant over, see you in the Novotel Monday home win three points bish bosh.
This is a massive game for united. From their perspective we embarrassed them last season. And their arrogance is such that they will still see anything less than a away win as the same. Stuff them.
I feel we caught them on an ‘off-day’ last season, well, three off days actually. Unfortunately they have our number now and will look forward to gaining revenge over their erstwhile nemesis. Of course, with the multi-millions they’ve spent, they’ll feel the points are theirs by right.
Such a shame to have to disappoint them.
Cover for our first eleven was always a worry last season, but our backroom staff worked miracles and our reserves were never really tested. Our summer signings, and the promise they showed midweek, have now banished those concerns and I feel our first eleven will feel the hot breath of competition on their necks for the coveted starting spots. Can’t be a bad thing.
It’s gonna be a fascinating tactical battle, but there can only be one winner.
Great to see much belief in our team from our supporters. And yes I think we have a great chance for all three points. I think a close game of course and if we manage to score first we will tighten up our defences even more. Going for a 1-0 win.
Hoping for a repeat of last season with Jota getting on the scoresheet. Man U looked very susceptible last week and hopefully we can punish them. However, Man U’s new look defense could cause some problems for us.
Can we have a recount there Teddy? Repeat of last season but you’re forecasting a loss for Wolves?
If Man U had had a poor start, I would be more confident. They are apparently fitter under OGS and have strengthened. However, our MF is better than their MF so 2-1 to us.
Admin – can I be known in the prediction league as Wolfman Jack (my M Mix name) from now on please? No worries if too much hassle.
Wolves to bring Man Utd crashing back down to earth. Jota, Jimenez and Cutrone off the bench to get the goals. Rashford with their goal
Jan Siewert now ex-manager of Hudderfield: highlight and only win of his reign – 1-0 at the Molineux. Funny old game.
Nah, you got that wrong mate. It was 1-0 at THEIR PLACE in February. I was there, God awful game. And do I not want to see the likes of that again!
Anyway, this is our year. Mid table place for manure. Big shock for Ole coming up.
Dan
Well Shaw is a definite weakness so Traore coming on at the end will win it for us
Another great night under the Molineux lights beckons.
This will be a very different Man U than the ones we faced 3 times last season. However, from what I’ve seen so far, Nuno has got us prepared just right for the games ahead. I’m going for a Wolves win, with our strongest starting 11.
This will be a much sterner test for us this time round I suspect.United are on a bit of a high having beaten Chelsea 4-0 so we must be aware and be on our guard against a different Man U.
On that basis I’m sitting on the fence for this one and going for the draw.
That Man Utd fan who believes we will shut up shop has obviously not been to any of our matches. Pillock.
Guess we need to continue where we left off.
Business as usual…….
Life is a great leveller, it was very satisfying to see Citeh get a goal disallowed, after a through ball struck one of their players on it’s way to the eventual goal scorer.
There is a Dog after all.
Stole a win from them left them booing the ref at full time.
Sound familiar.
Yes it does.
Tis familiar Stu. But it ain’t the ref’s fault. It’s the new rule regarding handball that’s causing the problem. Maybe if the ‘accidental’ part only applied to the goalscorer it would help.
Seems to me they’ve opened a can of worms and it’s going to be hard to get ’em all back in again.
Wolfie, you got a point there. Ref watch with Dermot Slappybounce kept saying it is because last year there were 3 goals scored by handballs (including our Willy’s) but both the Wolves & Cithe goals were NOT effected because of the Un-intensional Handball.
It’s all fect up ?
Envious of all who can be at the next two matches …Manure and Torino
What a week in prospect! The big times are here once again.
(So sad for Villa meantime … losing to holiday homes)
My oldest buddy Rob ( known him 57 years) has Manure for 2-0
No chance
However I’ll take a couple of draws and then wins over Burnley Torino (H) and Everton to get our season off to a solid start
Great to hear about the new signings
Greetings to
All Bloggers from California

Bostin ay it. vile useless nob eds. Think gonna be top six. Arrogant twats.
The petulant Grealish last 20 premier league results:-
LLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL
.. and Wolves go marching on.
Got my ticket for the South Bank, are the bloggers meeting up before the match?
In the Novotel mate. Here now and tomorrow pre match.
Be careful. We will have 1982 shoved in our face. Greasy will ensure Vile are back there again. Plastic Brummies the lot of them. MIND THE GAP.
It’s about time we reminded the premier league what we’re all about. Qualifying for Europe is tantalisingly close, we are improving all the time, and continuing to beat Utd on a regular basis sounds just fine by me. As has been said by many of you good people…. 2-1 to the wolves. Let’s hope for another classic.
A well refreshed and coached first XI should be too much for Manure’s expensive but unfamiliar additions.
Hard game going for 1-0 wolves
VAR will lead us to a controversial last minute penalty winner to put the Red Devil’s to the sword…
Just a heads up. All Wolves U23 home games are to be shown live for free via the Wolves website and the Wolves App
Narrowly miss the win, with missed chances as time expires. Two goals early in an otherwise defensive contest.
Wish I could be there but I’m just writing up the notes from my scouting mission in Porto. Won’t take long, something along the lines of – Ze Luis, gerrimin!
Onto Utd, I’m sensing plenty of goals in this one, they don’t appear to have the midfield cohesion to stop us supplying the bullets but have plenty up front if they can get the balls over the top. I’m going for the X.
Time to show that we are not a flash in the pan.
Time to make the so called big boys wake up and smell the coffee.
Just booked my flights to Turin. Not an easy place to get to
I can’t believe I got the Leicester game right, a bit of a fluke!
Still here goes, suddenly I am feeling confident after a good midweek win
lots of goals if VAR allows them, we will just nick it
United were flattered by the Chelski result.
They’ll get their just desserts on Monday.
We seem to be already where we were for the second half of the season last time – Raul and Diogo well up to speed e.g. As mentioned above we look to have improved the squad considerably with the additions recently made. All in all it should be a season to savour.
Monday ought to be a difficult game, but MU didn’t do very well against Chelsea in the first half and if they do the same with us we could be out of sight by half time.
I’m going for us to do 3 wins on the trot against MU – s0 COYW
Love all the positivity on here – but we all know that we won’t actually win every game that we play! Suspect that this may well be one of those games
And The Wolves GO Marching ON!!!!!
Wolves to win 2-0 Jota to get a brace!
Looking forward to watching a good Wolves win in a hotel full of Mancs
Lovely to see you again, you plastic forest fan!!!!
Have a great vacation, and fowb, mu and nf
I am captaining Jota in the fantasy football this week, have the feeling he would get Shaw either dizzy or sent off.
they’ve hammered Chelsea last weekend with a few sharp counter attacks – that seems to be Ole’s way. Shouldn’t work as effectively against us with our 3 man defence and organisation. this is the third time this will play itself out.
biggest fear is lack of ruthlessness in killing them off or crappy VAR.
As with last season, Man U’s season will largely depend on the Pogba factor, and so too this match. He can be talismanic and influential when he’s up, a dressing room destroyer when he’s down. If they can keep pace with City and Liverpool long enough then maybe they can keep him from pissing every one off long enough to have a half decent season.
But I think it was a massive mistake to keep him. Their North East rivals, look imperious already so I’m sure it’s only a matter of time before the Frenchman’s toys start flying.
Unfortunately for us it is too early in the season for that. Although their 4-0 over Chelsea was as flattering as it was fortunate, they (most importantly Pogba) will have their smiley faces on believing that they are contenders. An early goal from us may change that and tempts me into predicting a good result, but my head says that I think we may have to take this one on the chin.
So with reluctance I’m going with my head this time (and instead satisfying myself that we will win the reverse fixture in February).
Happy to take a draw again. Need to make sure we take our chances this time though.
Must comment on Nuno and the Wolves management on the way they selected who to bring into to support the fantastic present team that we have – who needs more at the moment – obviously spent a lot of time deciding what back up they needed, without spending riduculous prices – and can still adjust in January.
Fantasic that the have held on to Treore, still lots to come from him, starting to get involved in lots of assists, and to add, which team needs a better captain than Connor.
Good luck tonight guys, you are capable, but you need to settle down with your slow starts, which are giving me more grey hairs on the back of my head.
My main worry last season was where the goals would come from if Jota or Jimenez came off. Having seen Neto & Cutrone play on Thursday eve I’m not half as worried!
Again heart says win head says draw. I’ll go with the usual.
COYW
What’s your whereabouts Clive ?
I’m back in my hotel room, it’s 12.33!!!
Man Who coming down the Mol can only see a continuation of last year – 2:1 for a thrice
Hoping Harry “block head” Maguire gets twisted blood.
£80m you’re avin a laff
Mite get a mention on Football Focus one wik. Last Saturday it was 20 minutes on Man Utd. You wouldn’t realise they were playing anybody. Does my fuckin head in. No mention of VAR at Leicester last wik either. I will put my house on it that it gets a mention next Saturday after Man city suffered. Fucking BBC wankers
Cheesey
Sky sports today all about Man City’s disallowed goal cus of the VAR situation. Situation my arse. We got stuffed, they got stuffed get fekin over it – precious
That is what I mean chap.
We will edge this again.
Purely a tactical prediction – in reality I’m hopeful that we will deliver a strong performance and get something from this! Dendoncker will be key.
Looking forward to what should be a great game. If we continue to defend well, no reason we can’t win again, COMB’s!
I’m sitting on the fence.
Look who asked Clive for a selfie, some folk just won’t leave him alone.
No Mrs Twix …leave him alone!!!
