Three straight wins have seen Wolves make up ground on all seven of the sides above them.

If three becomes five in the next week, the play-offs might be the least of Kenny Jackett’s ambitions.
But things can turn sour very quickly in this unforgiving league. One narrow defeat or an injury to a key player is often enough to see everything fall apart.
This looks like one of the more winnable remaining fixtures, but every team provide a different challenge. Leeds will be no different.
Leeds United
Prior to the weekend, Leeds were enjoying a purple patch in an otherwise mediocre season. They’d won three of their last five matches and looked a decent bet for a top half finish.
Then out of nowhere their assistant manager was suspended, Neil Redfearn was considering his position and Blackburn thumped them 3-0. Turmoil.
With such continual off the field drama, can they ever expect to progress beyond the second tier? I suppose Watford are showing success amongst chaos can be achieved.
Leeds are a low scoring team (43), but don’t concede many either (50). Away from Elland Road, their record reflects their midtable position – won six, drawn five, lost nine.
Captain Rudy Austin misses this game through suspension after being sent off against Blackburn on Saturday.
Wolves
When Kenny Jackett discovered a winning formula last season, he more or less stuck with the same team. Therefore I’m not expecting many changes tomorrow.

Doherty could return however if the emphasis is on attack rather than defence. Dominic Iorfa was shrewdly brought in to specifically combat the threat of Antonio at Forest, which he did admirably.
Edwards and van La Parra are the obvious alternatives if Kenny wants to shift things around, but with just six games to go it should really be the best team every time.
Predictions
If this is an open game, I can only see a home win due to an obvious disparity in firepower. But that’s unlikely to be the case.
I expect Leeds to adopt the Reading and Charlton model, which was successful for both of those sides at Molineux.
But even if they can remain compact and well organised, I think Wolves will find a way to get the result they need.
3-1
Up The Wolves.

Now it the time to bare our teeth and hit them hard while they are shaken. Take no prisoners. Shame have to work tomorrow and willl not see the game. 3 points lads and then we see where we are in the mix.
I know there’s many a slip etc etc …. but I find it difficult to predict anything but a decent win for us. We now have forwards probably better than the ones who have done us damage in the past .. and as we all know attack is the best form of defence. Can’t get to the game, but wish everyone who does a great time!
We all ate Leeds and Leeds and Leeds,
We all fuckin’ ate Leeds!!!
Mrs CFH loffed her sox off the last time she was at the Mol, Kightley scoring the only goal of the game against Leeds, at the pure hatred and vitriol streaming from the crowd at them bastids in white!!
So it will be again termorra, but a different score.
Absolute no brainer, 5 – 1 to the lads.
None of this bollocks about parking the bus or shutting up shop or any of the other clichรฉs, we are gonna steamroller and stuff them.
Never forgive nor forget Maine Road FA Cup semi final.
We was robbed.
Yes, I fuckin’ ate Leeds.
And the shit, but more pity them, just sad and delusional down there in sandwell.
Clive- I think we lost that semi 1-0 but it was a few years before my time. What’s the story behind it.? I’m sure a few on this blog would be interested to know if you don’t mind explaining.
1973 FA Cup semi final, at Maine Road, Manchester.
This was where Johnny Richards, I think, hit the inside of the post and the ball rebounded spawnily to Sprake in the Leeds goal.
If it had been two inches to the left,….goal. Two inches to the right, rebound the other way where another Wolves forward was lurking,….goal.
Bastards beat us 1 – 0
We had beaten them 2 – 1 at The Mol in the last league game of the previous season, to deny them the point they needed to win the double, having won the cup two days earlier.
Back then is was a major deal to win the double, I think only Spurs in 1961 and Arsenal in 1971 had done it since the second world war.
Leeds under Don Revie were a really arrogant lot of bastards, and dirty fuckers as well.
What pissed off everyone in the country outside Yorkshire was they didn’t need to be, they had some excellent players, but Revie moulded them into a machine, and hence…We all fuckin’ ‘ate Leeds!!
At that same match, two miracles occurred.
First, I found a five pound note. I watched it fall out of the back pocket of a Leeds fan, so put my foot on it until he had gone away. back then a fiver was almost a full weeks wages to a lot of people.
Second miracle, Big Mark Davies, of blog fame, saved the life of a vicar.
Yes.
After the match him and I were mooching along all despondent, when a vicar in a Leeds scarf walked past us, and we said nothing. But as he passed me, he patted me on the head and said “never mind, sonny”
That was the last straw, I turned round, fist clenched, ready to knock his sanctimonious head off, when Big Mark grabbed me and said ” Not a vicar, Clive, not a vicar”
Hence one vicar’s life saved, and he never knew a thing about it!
Funny old game, innit?
Saving a vicar????
What if he was Chaplain to the Baggies? Would you have been so generous then Clive?
Mind you, have they got a vicar? They need all the help they can.
As do the possible buyers willing to spend ยฃ200m. Oh well, fool and his money, and all that
My question is how do a fool and money get together in the first place?
They also knocked us out of the cup in 74. I remember it well as the only time i got a really good kicking. A mate and i decided to go up the back of the South Bank wearing Wolves cardigans with those silk scarves tied round our wrists. We looked like a support act for the Bay city rollers. My mate who was a schools cross country champion somehow got out of it. Those were the days my friend !
Thanks for the explanation. The vicar story has made me chuckle ๐
Have to go for a win here!
Wolves on a roll. Afobe on fire. Leeds in the usual mess. Another win for the lads.
This should be easy compared to Forest and Derby but we know better don’t we…
But..there probably hasn’t been a more confident time and **with the same side as Friday** we should be 3 up by half time..
Just to see Afobe have a go is an exiting thought but there are others queuing up to score too…
My concern is that we don’t start well but I reckon every player wants to go for this from the kick off.. but let’s not get caught out…
The Atmosphere will be electric, which should be worth a goal start..
3 points towards Wembly ..Auto is not in my thoughts other than when we play Boro I can’t see the top two slipping up..
Oh and ..we all hate Leeds and Leeds and Leeds Leeds and Leeds….
Let’s send them home feeling like shite..
COYW
Agreed Steve.
3-1 for me too.
COYW!!
The turmoil at Leeds has come at a great time for us, plus having one day less to rest AND having their captain unavailable following a red card.
Good job as well if you look at their recent away record.
So I’m going for a win and hoping McDonald and Price stay fit for the next NINE games.
Just about over having a prediction point robbed by the last kick of the game vs NF. Tragic confirmation of my mid table mediocre forecasting punditry
banana skin written all over this one. hopefully KJ’s tactical nouse will get us through this one and we pick up all 3 points!!
come on me babbies
I agree with mr Aussie wolf on this matter , although I feel that will beat these one nil , I too believe that this is a typical championship banana skin . Complacency must not set in to over confidence . We have worked our way into this position with dogged hard work and lethal counter attacking football .
Who remembers early on this season when we would have gone top , and then got taken to pieces by Huddersfield . I think we lost 5 in a row after that .
Carry on with the same wolves and do not expect to win any game !!
Move Afobe up alongside Dicko, so 4-4-2, RvLP for Henry to add pace, Doherty for Iorfa to increase the attacking options as Thomas suggests. Don’t think this is going to be easy – no games in this division are – but we have got to go for the throat in this one.
leeds in their usual state of turmoil. Can’t see anything other than a comfortable win. Didn’t Leeds sack redfern after the game at elland road could he be the first manager sacked twice in the same season after defeats to the same team.
Two things Leeds bring , trouble and atmosphere. Ignore one and should be a big occasion like the derby game where the lads rose to it. With the best centre forward since bully on fire as to be a win.
Such a shadow of there former selves can’t be bothered to hate them anymore. As long as we maintain the desire and determination we should be comfortable.
Afobe and dicko. COYW
Leeds are gonna get a right hammering!!!
Like Clive I hate Leeds and for the same reasons. I remember that bloody semi final. Hope we really stuff the dirty bastards.
A nervy game I think. I’m hoping that the extra day’s rest will count in our favour, so I’m going for a good win with the majority of the goals coming in the final twenty.
I predict that no one is going to predict a draw or a loss… (For us) If someone does then my predictions are shite!
Sorry Shrews…
Its obvious that we should win… but
Victory written all over it and now into the play-offs for good.
Automatic still a possibility!!!
They will probably park the bus and not venture past the half way line ,
That said we should be able to break them down.
UTW
Our good fortune will carry on as we push the teams above us COYW
I just have a feeling this could be a tight game and we’ll just sneak it.
We need to boost the goal difference column and Leeds will be relentlessly scored upon in this match. We’re further ahead of KJ’s “2 pts per game over the final 15 matches”. Now stands at 20 pts from 9 games so 2 pts ahead of schedule. Possibly the best thing in our favour is that despite our fantastic form we still haven’t made it into the play-off zone so the players know they can’t relax as the objective hasn’t been achieved.
Got my last prediction totally wrong, so hopefully will get this one right. COYW
It’s fair to say Afobe, Dicko & Sako are on fire.
Run to continue.
Good start good middle good finish 3-0
It’s ok. It’s the beer gon to me ed. Hate leeds. Went in fa cup when don goodman got late winner. F**ckin mayhem out side after game. Probably still upset after the subway army took their pub by the ground. Any way 39-0 like i said. WE ALL HATE LEEDS AN LEEDS.. .
another three points, and hopefully other results will go our way too.
Going along with the majority!
It has to be a Clive Special tomorrow.
Come on me babbies.
Gerroff, pick yer own score, I got this patented!!!
I all feckin hate Leeds,
And the link below is the reason why. 1972, 53000 fans packed in Mol that night doors locked early, I climbed over the bog wall in the South bank and it took till half time to make me way to my beloved North bank.
Billy Bremmmner tried bribing the Wolves players to throw the game, so we stuffed the shite out of em.
So, that’ why I all feckin hate Leeds.
We’re going to slajughter the bathplugs.

What a lucky lad you are, we’re all having coffee’s I am led to believe. All driving, maybe after a 4-0 I may take a taxi and have a sherbet or three.

I’ll have no Wonga after paying Brompto for my exclusive designer, hand made by machine BLOG POLO shirt, complete with .. T F initials.
YES smiley face at the end there …. you’re avin a laarrff ….
Yahoo free beer !
39-0 eh? Well at least the goal difference will no longer be an issue. ๐
I’m not sure, but I do think we’ve ever had this much confidence in our team for a single game, even last year we had reservations for some of the “easy win” ones. (Except for Clive of course, as he is unwavering in his belief.)
Twixfix is buying “free beer”? Interesting concept.
Free beer. A contradiction in terms
Twix is buying, a contrdicion in terms
๐
Sorry “buying free beer”
Bloody cocaine.
I’m chucking a sickie me thinks ….
Finsbury Park Wolf makes a really good point about the team not relaxing as we still aren’t actually in the playoff spots yet. I’m sure Kenny will remind the boys at 5pm tomorrow to aim for a Clive from Houston friendly score line
Should have too much for Leeds.
Cheeseburger you are pure entertainment..
There recent away form is pretty good, so i don’t think this game will be easy for the team.
Still onwards & upwards, a Wolves win for me.
I’m praying Kenny doesn’t tinker I know the odd personnel might change probably at the back but up front please Kenny no tinkering.
Sobered up a bit now and realised 39-0 is a bit silly. So it will be 39-1 instead.
I met HRH the Prince of Wales other day at a function, met him loads of times in the past and had a great crack with him.
He’d got a hat made out of a Fox on his head, so very curious, I asked him “what it was in aid of.”
He said, He met his mummy the other day in Buckingham Palace and she asked him “about his engagements for this week”
He told her “Mummy I’m going up to the i54 for a look around the Land rover factory in Wolverhampton”
She Replied, “Wolverhampton Charles”, “Where the Fox’s that”
๐ ๐
This game won’t be easy by any stretch of the imagination.
Never easy to beat or play against for that matter … so a 1 – 0 will do for me…
Its a Bank Holiday the suns out and we all getting carried away. Go on, have a beer, have a cheer and keep the waggon rolling.
After finally getting the prediction right (thanks to the injury time goal), I’m on a roll
I too, remember the Cup game (as a snotty nine year old)
Not sure about Clive saving a vicar…..would it have made any difference if he had a blue and white striped scarf I wonder?
Home win, squeaky bum time, and hopefully the other results go our way ????
If it follows the form book I see a few goals for us tomorrow. Oh if it should be so simple.
I was going for a tighter score line but when I saw the confidence of the fans, especially the 39-1 I thought maybe I should go one better !
Clubs rise and fall, it’s the nature of football.
Reading that article Stu Wolf posted above it was interesting to see that as Leeds were going for the double, Wolves were in the hunt for the UEFA cup and Derby of all bloody clubs were winning the league.
Out of those 3 we’re currently the club on the up, although a few months ago you’d definitely have said it was Derby.
Hopefully KJ can keep the good times rolling until the fat lady stops singing and everybody’s bums stop squeaking.
As Thomas points out, injuries to our key players are our biggest concern.
Here’s to 3 more points, a full bill of health for the lads, and maybe even a few more seasons like 1971/2
UTW
I am now starting to believe we really can make the playoffs. Keep your heads lads.
screwed up prediction at forest
Thought we had a bad game left in us
So now, maybe not
Let’s keep the faith and play offs here we come..
Kenny knows whats required, he’ll also have the lads know that for us to get in playoffs or higher we have to win and get the 3pts….but we also need to improve the goal difference.
I think a nil nil draw but heart is calling this one
On the face of it, this should be a relatively straightforward home win. Only two days off for them, one of their main men suspended, chaos in their backroom. But teams that have come to the Mol’ this season looking to scrape a point often succeed and I feel this will be the limit of Leeds ambitions today. But we’ve goals and creativity all over the pitch now and unless their net leads a charmed life, they will concede and then the floodgates could open.
If we score early, we could do our goal difference a power of good, but I fear we may be made to wait for the breakthrough. Either way, I can’t see us not achieving the necessary three points.
COYW ๐
The games that we should definitely win are the ones that make me nervous.
Hopefully Kenny has the boys fired up.
ive now subscribed to sky sports especially to get the climax of our season in glorious HD…. And I’m hoping that the mighty Wolves can cement their place in the playoffs (at least)…. Which will give me better value for money if I cAn watch more Wolves on Sky over the next few months. And who knows? It might end in wolves being on Sky a lot more next season when we reach the dizzy heights of the Prem.
And if I believe all I read, if we win all remaining matches, we will get promoted automatically, regardless of how other teams perform. Statistically, I haven’t checked this out but maybe if anyone else has, I’d be keen to hear it as this puts us in the driving seat.
Thoughts?
Wolves are bound for victory today in front if the Sky cameras, it’s comfortable I hope.
UTW!
We’re 6 points behind second place Vexrob and all teams have 6 games left so we are a long way from being in the driving seat.
Personally, I don’t think we’ll be in the top two even if we do win all six, Bournemouth and Norwich for me. And the play-offs suit me fine…..3 more exciting games, a day out at Wembley and 3 more wonderful victories!
…because I’m in a rich vein of form fearing the worst and the lads proving me wrong weekly…
Any win will do. Golbourne to thunder it in from just outside the box.
Must win game…
Hoping Leeds have little to play for . . . . . . . . .
We’ve hit form at the right time.
Hoping we keep it up.
If we get an early goal their heads may drop. Let’s hope so and improve the goal difference on Ipswich and Brentford.
I’m getting a bit carried away with all this… With a win here today, maybe a late auto spot is a chance after all….
I gotta feelin.. that tonight’s gonna be an … ass whooopin for Leeds. Ok, 4 is my optimism speaking but still, a good win cos wim on fire ay we!?
Can’t see anything other than a win today.
Not too bothered about the score, 3 points is the main thing.
I fancy Afobe to bag at least one.
Will be in the South Bank today, singing my heart out for the lads.
Still on cloud 9 after the Notts Florist match, helped my son move house on Saturday and `accidently` left my wolves scarf on the back seat of my car as my daughter in law was loading boxes, didn`t have to say a word.
It shouldn`t be close today, and if Sako decides its time he dragged us with him so he can play in the premiership next season, a three nil stroll in the park. Working in hospitality its a normal working day for me, so off home to sit in front of Sky Sports, then on to St Andrews at the weekend. Watch out the Wolves are coming!!
This certainly looks like a more straight foreward affair then our recent fixtures but we all know that’s not quite how it works!
That said, this does look like an opportune time to play them with their standard off-field issues flaring back up. So here’s hoping for a continuation of our recent clinical form.
Looking for a straightforward and clinical dispatch of Leeds today. Shouldn’t have to worry about their captain running round trying to get us to throw the game this time. Onwards and upwards.
Hey Brompton , I could pop in the park view and get that uncle bert off you today.
And get a free pint by all accounts .
Sorry mate. Missed you. Parkview was closed and did not have your mobile number. What match you getting to next mate?
Hopefully an early goal to unsettle them and settle me then a late goal to seal it
I’m a bit late on this one.
Been out in the sun cleaning the campervan in readiness for the Summer trips.
Musn’t get too far ahead of myself though.
As somebody else has said already, ‘It’s not over ’til the fat lady’s bum has stopped squeaking’.
I wish I could have been there tonight. I only hope that Brompton and Robin get full value from the tickets.
Still, never mind, the Ipswich match is brewing up to be a defining 90 minutes in our season and myself and the PMDG’er will be in the Steve Bull making sure nothing goes wrong.
Three points tonight will do for a start.
I like to think that the Doog will be looking down on this one and saying:-
“Remember ’72 lads – give them one for me!”
Cometh the hour cometh the team… Wolves cement their place in the play off positions
Happy with a win, 3pts and moving up the table. As has been said before Don’t care what the score will be as long as we win.
It’s been amazing to see the transformation of the club under KJ and promotion would just be the cherry on top seeing how we were 2 short seasons ago.
Just hoping as always we can keep it together because players like Sako, Dicko and Afobe deserve to play in the premier league and I would hate for them to leave for other clubs that aren’t any better than us if we fail to get promoted.
COYW
Our favourite home score line will do nicely ๐
Really looking forward to this one. I think we’re going to take them while they’re reeling. Come on me babbies!
I’ve been a Wolves supporter for 56 years so pessimism is a constant companion but the recent run is even making me dream.Won’t be easy this evening but I think we have too much for Leeds.
Almost forgot game was today. Go Wolves!
On a roll so let’s keep it coming.

Just 2 predicted draws amongst all of the wins, and a lot of these predicted wins are by serious numbers.
This weeks blog should be archived and highlighted or even enshrined for times of less faith.
Less than 2 hours to go for the lads to show us why we believe in them!
WTF? as it stands Brum are stuffing Cheatmouth 2-0 and the same scoreline Uddersfield stuffing Ipshit!
C’mon!!! ….. We could be just what 4 or 5 points off 2nd place by close of play…
It’s a late forecast from me but I think it might be a close run thing. Now off to my latest pub find in Brussels to catch the game.
Just walked all the way up to the park view and it appears to be shut . That place is shit , don’t know why you use if
That is a very stupid statement.
I use it because it is a great hotel, friendly, comfortable, serves a decent beer, excellent food and is very handy for the Molineux.
It is certainly not shit.
Just because someone has a difference of opinion to you it does nt make it a very stupid statement .
Last time I went there I was the only one in there and if you want to hear a stupid statement how can it be a great ,friendly , comfortable handy hotel if it’s fucking shut .
It’s a small hotel, not a pub.
Therefore, I would suggest that it’s always worth checking with other bloggers before you make the long walk to it, and it would seem that it might be worth other bloggers checking that it’s open before they make arrangements to meet there.
Every establishment will have to close sometimes for whatever reason.
It doesn’t make THEM shit.
Read the reviews of the people who have stayed there and see if they think it’s shit.
That was my fault. I made a statement about me being at the Parkview around 3 O’Clock, assuming that it would be open. I was not expecting it to be shut, but as you said, it would have been better if I had checked first. As it was I had Stuwolfs number and Peakwolfs number so I phoned them to let them know.
Sorry London, but I did not have yours – especially when I read that you had been to the North Bank Bar, as that is where I went too (with your Polo in my hand too!)
Mark, see you at the Ipswich game mate. Have you checked if A Parkview is open that day? Joking aside, I am on the bell.
I believe they are opening specially for me on that day.
I’ll make sure the guards on the gate let you in.
See you then.
London.
Brompto, Twixfix and I waited until about 3-20 for you, they must be renovating, we will make it up to you at the Millwalll game, I’ll get you p’d.
Only had blog contact, so couldnt call you. Managed to meet Peakwolf, said hello but unfortunately my 10 year old Grandson suddenly took sick and I couldn’t go with the lads to North Bank bar.
What a feckin game.
Soz London Loyal, next time if you can forgive the PV.

I was with Twixfix and his missus and Peakwolf. email me at stevelbiles@hotmail.com and we can sort out the shirt issue mate.
Heading out to the Exchange in Ivybridge now to get the game. After reading through the posts I’m brimfull of optimism……… oh no, it’s all gonna go wrong…………. no, it’ll be a walk in the park…….. HELP, I’m not sure I can stand another six games like this.

I think Macca might have gifted them two goals…
My word, that was unnecessarily tense. How did we control that game and only win by one goal, I’ll never know!

If you all watch the video, my man MacDonald tried his best to play out of a tight spot but unfortunately it rebounded of Stears, he certainly made up for it with his determination to atone for his Gaff.
Now Batth, I want to kick his bollox, schoolboy error.
But for me, they’re all hero’s. For feck sake Kenny, bottle Dangerous Daves enthusiasm and serve it to the team every Saturday or Tuesday morning.

What a feckin game, we’ve converted another potential young Wolves fan today,
For those who missed em, how sweet are these goals. Sheer delight.

http://www1.skysports.com/watch/video/sports/football/9793191/wolves-4-3-leeds?
I am not going to comment on Stearman having a ‘mare (imo), but I hope that our defence do not start feking up at this stage. At 3-1 the game was won, but a number of schoolboy defensive errors gifted them goals. What a nail-biter though. I had to laugh when the Leeds fans below us when the game was 3-3 were chanting “you only sing when you’re winning” so we scored the fourth and sang again. Brilliant. We are in the playoffs. We just need to keep winning and Prem here we come. Good to see Peakwolf too – hope to see you again on 2nd May mate.
Great result but, we could and I thought we had thrown it away its safe to say we rode our luck now is not the time for the defence to start collapsing, Stearman has done well this season but there’s always a doubt in my mind about him and he brought those doubts to the fore today and Batth has dropped of alarming this last couple of months.
Kenny needs to get a grip because I carnt seeing us getting away with it at Boro or when the bloke from Barnsley pulls up with his Yorkshire cruff and TC throwing palm leafs before his feet as he walks.
McCarthy is the banana skin in waiting today’s game will have given him a boost despite the fact we won because he will look at the goals we conceded over and over again rubbing his hands as TC feeds him grapes wilst fanning him knowing and planning to exploit our weaknesses.
If clipbored ( sic) thinks McDickwadhead is the messi eye are, then his time has just passed, coz he was nailed up on Friday, then moved the big rock and disappeared on Sunday,……just like Ipshit are doing!!
Oh happy fuckin’ days, now just want to see QPR win their second game in succession against a midland team tomorrow….
While it is easy to blame the defence, and no excuse for giving away the gifts that we did, at 3-1 up we found ourselves in a number of great attacking positions and then tried to overpass the ball with delicate little angles. It was “nice” that the strikeforce was unselfish and trying to share the goals, but a bit of ruthlessness and more direct attack should have seen more goals for us and no pressure on the defence (and maybe some useful extra goal difference).
While it was 3-1 I was explaining to my stepdad why we needed 5 for Clive literally as big DB was toeing the ball past Ikeme.
I’ve never actually heard a bum squeak, but if it sounds anything like it felt when that third goal went in I’m gonna buy some earmuffs.
What a game though! And perversely probably better for morale than if they had finally delivered a Houston special. We know we can keep teams out (as long as we can remember which direction to kick the ball, which wasn’t always 100% today), but know we know that whatever they get, we can always go and get another.
With the Steve Miller band upfront we can beat anybody.
Bring on the Blouse!
Good day for our strike force, bad day for our defense, but we won so happy days.
Brummys up next, and they won’t roll over for us, but I’ll back this team to win any way.
And for all those who say we can’t beat Middlesborough, i say think again, because this team on its day can beat any team in this division.
The only teams on the up at the moment are Norwich and Bournemouth and Wolves.
Its between those three who will be automatic or play offs imo but lets just see.
Its a tough call for Wolves but lets wait and see, give this team a chance and back them to the end.
IMO.
We didn’t lose anything today, take a good look at the video boys and girls, MacDonald tried one of his usual clearances which under normal circumstances would have gone to Iorfa duly waiting to receive it. But, unfortunately and it was unfortunate, it rebounded off Stearman’s back to their attacker who was in the right place at the right time. No big deal…
The second, I’ve looked at it again and there were was an easy collection for Ikeme to bend down and pick the ball up, but Batth saw a forward running in and tried to clear it, albeit a shite effort but at least he tried to keep the goal out. Unfortunate again, IMO.
So we scored 6 goals in a seven goal thriller. Better than Feckin November.
I have to be truthful here and say, ” not once, even at 3-3 did I ever think we were not going to win, the drive, determination and effort was certainly there from all 13 players. even RVLP was tackling”.
A great game, reminiscent of Rotherham last year, and history states, ” we beat them” the same will be said when we look back at this game.
Hands up anyone who truly believes Leeds deserved three goals? one yes but the three, come on they were second best the whole game.
Bring on the Brummies, Bring on the Brummies too right.
Oh, Oh, Oh they’re magic.
Dicko, Afobe Sako.
Has a great ring to it, and the crowd love it, I’m sure we shall hear more of that one.

What does concern me is our mentality when we take the lead. We stop playing our excellent, probing, positive football and instead, drop deeper and lose the initiative. We’ve been doing it all season and is one of the reasons our goal difference is so bad.
At 3-1 Leeds heads had dropped, they were on the ropes and were there for the taking. We should have taken them to the cleaners and won by, well let’s say, 5-1.
I know Bournemouth are nobody’s favourites on here but we really could take a leaf out of their book. Once they score one they keep attacking til they score 2 and then they keep attacking til they scaoe 3 and so on until the final whistle.
We’ve got probably the most lethal strike force in the league(Sako is unbelievable at the moment) and the sight of the superb Dicko being hauled off most games around the hour mark to allow the team to go back into it’s shell and hope for the best is terrible. This guy has been a star for us for two seaons now and to see him collecting his MOTM award in his substitute’s bib (and not looking hugely happy about it either) is a real shame.
So come on Kenny, we’ve got the players to do it, let’s keep our positivity for the full 90 minutes and then nothing can stop us.
