Happy New Year everyone.
I’m not sure it’s possible for Wolves to better 2018 but I’m looking forward to seeing them try.

January has three intriguing home Premier League fixtures against Leicester, West Ham and this one against Palace.
Confidence is high and there’s no reason the lads can’t attack these games and really cement their top 10 position.
Most of the online betting sites have this down as a home win, but we’ve garnered a reputation for upsetting the odds in most scenarios this season.
The immediate goal must be 40 points, so the sooner that’s in the bag the sooner we can start dreaming about our highest finish for decades and who knows what else?
Crystal Palace
Only Newcastle and bottom side Huddersfield have scored fewer goals than Palace, which has been their well publicised problem over the first half of the season.
But they put three past Man City at the Etihad a few weeks back to secure the shock result of the season, which underlines they’re not to be underestimated.

There wasn’t a lot in the reverse fixture at Selhurst Park and their inability to convert openings into goals was ultimately their undoing.
Like Wolves, they don’t concede many and Roy Hodgson has them well organised defensively.
According to the BBC, ‘Wilfried Zaha has neither scored or assisted a Premier League goal in his last 11 appearances.’ so job one is making sure that run continues.

The away end
Some comments lifted from the match thread on a popular Palace forum:
‘I think we could get a result if we play to our strengths: defend well and then counter (exactly what they did to us at Selhurst). Unfortunately, with Wilf not at his best, I don’t think we’ll have enough. Lose 2-0.’
‘Chris Armstrong will dribble past their weak defenders into the box and put the ball into the top corner to make it 4-1…. Oh hang on I’ve just woken up … If we win this I will be amazed, but I do have a feeling that Wickham will score (7-2 for anytime goalscorer).’
‘Depends if Wickham starts with Wilf and Andros on the wings. If so a win, if not, wolves win with usual late subs and no tactics change from Roy. Hopefully Meyer back in for Schlupp as well.’
‘We won’t score and Wolves will put more past us than Chelsea did; comfortable win for Wolves.’
Wolves
Plenty of interesting options for Nuno after the win at Spurs with the biggest decision being who he starts in central midfield.

Saiss, Moutinho, Neves and even Dendoncker could get the nod and I could make an argument for all four and any combination.
There are similar dilemmas across the front three after Costa came on, scored and generally performed well at Wembley.
Jimenez has clocked up a lot of minutes and I’m wondering if he might get rested tomorrow? He’s certainly earned a breather.
The poll
[interaction id=”5c2bc7fd8f833d11e7ea765a”]Predictions
Well done to everyone who was brave enough to predict a Wolves victory last time out.
vicsmith is still top of the table with a three point lead heading into Gameweek 21.
As always if you’d like to take part simply leave your predictions in the comment section below which is where you’ll find my best guess.
Up The Wolves!

Every chance of a repeat scoreline from our encounter earlier in the season. If we can shackle Zaha and keep Townsend outside of shooting range a cleansheet seems a good possibility. They need the victory more than us but I’m backing Wolves to get it.
Just don’t know with this one if palace pack the defence we could struggle but if they go for it we should win. Narrow 2-1 win for wolves
The midfield conundrum is not one I will try and solve but bringing Moutinho on for the last 20 or 30 minutes certainly unhinged Spurs. Definitely a winable fixture if we play to our strengths.
I’ve not got a prediction wrong this year and I’m not about to start now. About time we beat one of these inbetween teams.
I’ve talked nothing but Wolves this Xmas holiday to drive the wife to distraction, such is the times we’re experiencing!! We need to maintain the tenacity for this and should our level of performance be the same as at Spurs (still dribbling uncontrollably at that win!), then I can only see a positive result.
Happy New Year everybody, up the mighty Wolves!!!
Hoping the Spurs win will have boosted confidence.
Some interesting transfer news today – Matt Jarvis to Walsall, and Hause to Villa….
Back to this match, I do worry that we’ll go backwards again after a big performance, but hope not.
Great to see Jiminez playing so well, and Costa’s left foot steer in was so good, long may it continue.
As they proved against Citeh, Palace have all the necessary weapons. They just don’t know how to fire ’em. But they have lots of pace and our rearguard will need to be watchful if our moves break down in their half.
But hey, we could say that about most Prem teams and we seem to be coping well with most of what we face.
It would be good to achieve our first double and I feel we have plenty in the tank to do it. Raul to play, for me. FA Cup coming up. He can take a break then.
If you are coming up for this I will see you in the Combemere. If not, I will in there anyway now that I have tasted their fine ales. And, to celebrate our win.
Can’t wait for this but where to start,
Palace are having their best form of the season so far and deservedly sit on top of the League’s bottom third. They got lucky beating Leicester but performed superbly against Man City and Cardiff, and defended very well against Chelsea, unlocked only by a clever movement from Ngolo Kante.
I expect the same defensive approach from them tomorrow and they may throw in Connor Wickham who will try to cause Coady and Bennet a headache. Roy is no mug and I doubt they’ll be as one-dimensional /naive as they were in October against us.
Key to winning then is:
– can we score against a team that parks the bus effectively?
– can we really concentrate in defence? Control the game and don’t give them a sniff even
If the answer to both is ‘yes’ then we’re a top 7 team in the making.
What makes the difference with the top teams is their quality when finishing moves- something which came spectacularly right for us in the second half against Spurs. Tomorrow is another game against a team who will look to do a Huddersfield/Watford against us and we will need to be very patient again. Every game can be a banana skin but with our improving confidence we should have enough to win. More rotation likely in midfield. Would like to see Jota take some part. It’s going to be noisy!
Repeat scoreline as at spurs!
its a team full of surprises, the highs against the top teams the lows when we play the bottom teams. How the hell do you even try to predict what this team will do next. Anyway, my battery is about to expire, so I am going for a win.
Hopefully we learned at Wembley that the trick is to pass to an old gold shirt and not punt long balls forward
Nuno preaches control and I’m hoping he has made New Year resolutions to keep that mantra going
Also hoping the the wonder kid has made his own resolutions to hammer some into the net from outside the box… its a weapon we’ve been missing
Happy to have such a quality midfield to perm combinations from… hopefully Jota back soon and here’s hoping for continued luck with team injury list going forwards
Here’s to a brilliant 2019…for our team and all Bloggers
Meantime I expect that Zaha will play well … but we will prevail somehow
UTW
Well if 2019 is as good as 2018 it’s going to be quite a year!!!! The Spurs second half performance was too class don’t buy any of this spurs where tired rubbish we completely controlled the second half and ran out fully deserved winners. On to Palace who will sit in and look to counter us with their pace. I do however think though we will have too much for them and will win a tight contest with big many goals in. As for team news God knows Nuno has pulled some rabbits out of the hat recently and to his credit they have generally all wofked. Would love to see Jota back though ASAP
Would like to see a clean sheet for this one and keep the momentum going for 2019
After Wembley’s wonder show it’s back to bread and butter.
Crystal Palace will present a completely different obstacle tomorrow and that will be one where we have to be patient, tight in defence, compact and steely in midfield and have a cutting edge up front.
So I’m expecting Saiss to make an appearance, alongside Moutinho the magician and MGW offering some midfield support along with some darting runs at the Palace defence.
Thirteen points from the last 6 matches is good form.
This game will not be a pushover but I’m expecting our new found confidence to shine through… just
With Methuselah as manager, Palace have rewritten the book on dinosaurs in charge of football teams, which is why they will never amount to anything but cannon fodder for the likes of us.
We usually screw up after a wonderful win, but not this time.
The lads can smell the top six, nay even the top four positions, and winning games against the lower level teams will become routine, starting tomorrow.
With the twelfth man in full voice as usual, Woy and Palace will come to the Mol and soil their panties.
Easy 5-1 to us.
After Wembley you would think going back to the Mol’ would be an anti-climax, but it aint. Can’t wait for tomorrow, come on you mighty Wolves.
Our trickiest games always seem to be against teams we might reasonably expect to beat. Too often this season we have slipped up for reasons I cannot put my finger on.
Against Palace we need to be on our game. If we are we’ll be comfortable. And now the mid-field is being rotated I expect this to be the case.
Boly will take care of Zaha; our Wily is bigger than theirs. 🙂
It’s time that we put to bed the idea that we can only produce against the big boys.
Palace are a team that we should be beating so let’s bloody well beat them!
Molineux will be rocking. Less two though I’m afraid. The PMDG’ers first day back at work after the break and the journey from Wiltshire and back in one night is getting too much for a man of my age.
Well, be fair, I’ll be thirty next year!
I’m hoping we will win by two goals.
You need to be careful, old man, you may get traded in for a younger model, one around 85!!!
Brad Pitt you are a VERY cheeky boy!
But a real hunk!!
I will have a couple of beers for you. See you later this year.
Cheers Steve!
Put them on Clive’s tab won’t you.
Cheers Steve!
Put them on Clive’s tab won’t you.
That will be four on Clive’s tab then. I am in Wolves now. Can’t wait.
I don’t expect it to be an easy game, but hope we can continue where we left off against Spurs. What a performance that was! Palace will defend deep and try to hit us with pace on the counter. An early goal for us will help no end.
Agree Clive that it will probably be a tight game.
Roy is a top coach.
I’m with you on the game being tight. Cav to score.
UTW!
I’m delighted with how WWFC are progressing in this league, everything seems to be going to plan and Nuno is taking us on his magical mystery tour. If we can play the same Wolves 11 as we did against Spursy, then bring on the same changes, then I see no reason not to Have the same result again. They won’t have a super goal like the one Kane scored, so I’m going for a :-
Wolves 3
Palace 0
All that depends on the lads coming in fit, by all reports Traore’s injury was minor. Let’s keep Jota under wraps until he’s fully fit.
I think we’ll have to much for them.
As long as we don’t get complacent we should get a result.
I’d start with the team that finished against Spurs.
Wolves win 3 – 1
I think we’ll get back to our performances at the beginning of the year. More clean sheets and low results. I got Cav getting back on the scoresheet in a 1-0 win.
Back in the day there was a kid’s telly program called CRYSTAL TIPS AND ALISTAIR. I thought it was a jolly nice name for a telly show. The chap who wrote it was obviously on drugs. It features a character who looked a bit like Geoff Palmer with regard to hair do. Which is excellent. Lots more people should have their hair like Geoff Palmer. Including Roy Hodgson. I think a generous curly perm would suit him. Kevin Keegan also wore the same look which is great as Kevin is a Wolves fan. Roy may not be a a Wolves fan but not everyone is. Apart from Eric Idle off Monty python who is.Any way the moral of this story is that CRYSTAL TIPS AND ALISTAIR has absolutely nothing to do with the forthcoming Wolves win over CRYSTAL PALACE as the rampant pack devour the hapless Croydon based outfit and reduce Roy to scratching his head, looking hastily to one side and saying ‘Wilf is jolly good but even he couldn’t do anything against an up and coming European side’. Nuno said ‘ I like Roy and he once taught my nephew O level Geography. He certainly knows what the capital of Mongolia is. Ulaanbataar is a bloody nice place. He has a pet Yak called Trevor’.WWFC 2 CPFC 1.
With our form of playing well against teams above us and crap against lower teams, I am dreading what will happen in this game. My only suggestion to Nuno is to give the same half time spiel he gave the team at the Spurs and Chelsea games – not at half time, but right before the game. Hopefully we’ll have a positive result. Going for a 2-0 win
I think it’s fascinating to see which team Nuno will pick! The back three and goalie pick themselves but beyond that, anyone can be picked. Keep a winning team or tinker with selection? Injured players coming back or too soon for them? Either way, I think we should have too much for Palace, once we take our chances! We shall see!
I think it will be a real struggle for goals… maybe a clean sheet for both teams
So now that all of our players have Premier League experience, we have to start putting some distance between ourselves and the teams below us. It is getting annoying watching us in 7th place one week and 11th the next.
Wolves 2-1 CP.
BTW, did anyone else notice how Spurs didn’t seem to have fatigue issues against Cardiff?
Yes Tim – amazing what a couple of night’s sleep can do for you!
Also Colin whingeing that Spurs should have to play all their remaining home games at Wemberlee, because having to settle in at their new stadium will give the other relegation candidates who have yet to play Spurs away an unfair advantage as Poch’s superstars adjust. Maybe he’s got a point ?
If he has a point then I know were Colin can stick it.
Going for a straight win and a clean sheet. Now we’ve finally managed to find the net 3 times l feel it’ll happen again tonight. What a start to the year that would be. A bit of rotation to the team from last time out? I have no idea – but NES has a plan, so in him l trust.
I was having my 7-30 am tai chi ( which is Chinese for ‘ I bet ya can’t do this one’) class this morning with the local zen master at the resort— Kevin
After, we had a little chat about karma, he said with all the shite we have put up with over the years with moxeymorgan is slowly getting repaid and I needn’t worry about tonight as wolves will be unbeaten for a while and will very likely win the fa cup this season too , so a comfortable 3-1 for me then,
Ps , the only thing I was actually having at 7-30 this morning was pancakes and poached eggs from Kevin the egg chef!! But you get my drift
Utw
It’s this kind of game that has tripped us up this season so I’m hoping that the clinical finishing we saw on Saturday will put a stop to that.
And, that goal for Costa? Season changing for him and the floodgates are now open. I hope the carping from some quarters of the fandom will now see he is well worth his place in our team.
Wolves to win, of course.
Well, I don’t know the captain of Spurs and I don’t know the Wolves score ditto ( got that one a bit wrong! ) never mind, upwards and onwards. Cannot see anything but a home win, leaving Norwich after lunch to see us win by two.
Happy New Year to all
Trying to predict the team has become impossible but as opposed to previous years everyone is quite happy to leave it to Nuno.
Hause imp is a good player but could not force his way into the team just a shame he is off to the vile, anyway will take him a good few weeks to get up to speed (hopefully)
Signed a right footed winger David Wang 18ys old and ship him off to Sporting Lisbon.
Just more signs that this club is going places.
Test for Bennett and Cody tonight with Zaha hope is mind is thinking about his transfer.
Remember the stick Jimenez was getting a few weeks back, Costa comes on and scores so trying to make a New Years resolution not to criticise any Wolves player as undoubtedly they are a giving 100%.
Won £250 on Boly At 25/1 he has come up trumps twice for me this year even accounting for the loosing bets in between, could it be Ruben’s turn tonight?
After that Spurs game who knows what will happen tonight. Woy will probably park the bus from the kick off and keep another in reserve just in case.
The only thing that worries me is our ability to cock up against the lesser teams. Now is the time to show we can overcome that problem. No idea which team Nuno will pick but that should not matter. We should have more than enough to see off Palace.
They will try to do a Huddersfield .
They have no choice .
We have to be very patient tonight and i dont see a rip roaring game unless we manage to stick one in early.
Otherwise its sit tight bide our time and nick it with one.
So which is it ?
A solid 1-0 or a rip roaring 3-0.
We need a clean sheet and a solid professional performance to carry on building momentum.
Three in the middle and dont give them anything.
I always think Palace are a much more dangerous side than their points tally suggests but I suppose the table doesn’t lie, we should be aiming to beat these.
As always, no real idea as to the actual outcome, but I’ll go for a Wolves 3-1 win… I just hope it’s a good game as I have missed the last two home games due to illness. I should also travel across from Suffolk for the cup game. These are great days for long suffering Wolves fans with results as at Wembley; enjoy and remember…
Such a dodgy gamd this , had we not got that late equaliser against fulham then we would have lost tothe three bottom teams
After that amazing job on spurs i fear over confindence could catch us out
So we might be up against Connor Wickham? I remember the Moxey transfer saga, did he or did he not phone (Sunderland?) to enquire of Wickham’s availability? Big deal. This underlines how far we have travelled since those darker days.
Palace turned in a magnificent performance at the Etihad, to rival ours at Wembley. Can they do it again? Or can Woy pull off another 5-1 win at the Mol? No and no. It’s amazing how form can fluctuate from one game to another. Bar Liverpool, PL teams can always find that banana skin to slip on. Let’s make sure we don’t. 2-0 for me.
Back to Molineux tonight for the footie and the fireworks.
No fireworks show at Wembley so the lads had to supply them for us in the second half ….and how!!
Tough game tonight as they park the bus, we could struggle to break them down, so I’ll just go for 2-0
Been a great 2018, what will 2019 have in store for our Wolves?
Starting off against Palace, not a bad team and they have players who are dangerous.
No doubt Woy will put 6 across the back and try to disrupt our wing play. Good luck with that Woy!
A narrow win it is.
Hope 2019 is full of love, joy, goals and more goals.
😉
Roy’s teams always play a counter-attack game, so they’ll be sitting deep. We’ll need creativity through the middle, not just width, to break them down. For that I’d put MGW back into the ‘false 9’ role, and play Moutinho plus any one from Saiss, Neves and Dendoncker in the middle. Up front Raul and Cav. But, as others have pointed out, the key to this one is not to concede. Hopefully we put in a Burnley performance rather than a Huddersfield…
Another three points hopefully.
Was watching second half at Wembley for the umpteenth time and the spine tingles as Nuno orchestrates the fans, and the chant of Nuno, Nuno rings out.
Just thought back a couple of years and I don’t recall the same passion for recent previous managers.
Lambert, Lambert
Jackett, Jackett
Don’t have the same ring, do they??
Cannot recall either of them bouncing around the pitch in a frenzy of emotion after every win either.
Can you imagine Jackett doing what Nuno did at Bristol City?
Nor me.
For them it was just a job.
For Nuno it’s a calling.
Like Ruben Neves, me and the wife are gonna get tattoos. I’m getting a tattoo of Ruben’s arm on my arm and the wife’s getting the same on her butt.
Woy will just pack as many as he can in the box.
Going to have a new favourite position on your nights in then Brierley!
Feel this could be a tricky encounter tonight but fancy us to edge it by the odd goal.
It was a funny game at their place. They enjoyed plenty of possession but had no cutting edge in the final third. The passing game Palace played really didn’t seem to suit their strengths.
Could see this going the same way as the Bournemouth match – we defend resolutely and then take our chances, which is a good habit to have and something we’re getting better at.
Our first double of the season as the wolves go marching on on on…
Abraham’s to wolves ?
18 million?
Chelsea spokesman just denied saying, “nothings decided yet”
Buthewould wouldn’t he.
Me, I think it’s got mileage (hope)

Tough game to play and call.
I’m sure that management will have worked on the over-confidence risk.
Clean sheet would be a great reward for our defence.
Another Costa goal and one for the World Cup Winning Kid.
After the win at Spurs, most people are quite rightly expecting a positive result tonight. For me, I would be quite happy with a draw. I’m a fan of 40+ years, old habits die hard, always waiting for things to go tits up!!
100% on predictions all this year,(as is everyone), so going for an outlandish result with four goals to be scored. COYW.
Expecting it to be a tough one tonight rather than a barnstormer. They will sit back and try to catch us on the break which nullifies our style of play somewhat.
We should be too good for them though and I think we will sneak a win.
So – Tammy Abraham??? Thoughts please!!
OODCL
Very quick there marney .
Yes Abrahams to wolves .
Not sure if i am more pleased we have another centre forward or that we have just dumped one on the vile and nicked the only bloke who scores any goals for them.
Well … that should secure another season in the chumpionship for them tee hee.
BUNCH OF TOMMY TANKERS
Could be Tammy Abraham to Wolves and Leo to Villa? Fantastic. That’s a very happy New Year in my book.
We could just loan Leo out in the hope his goal scoring form would recover with regular first team football, and then sell him for squillions in the summer if we want.
Fosun/Nuno/Mendes do not miss a trick. I expect they are plotting.
I’m old enough to think that 2018 was our best year since 1958. And, we are still improving…
It’s tough to call because our performance against Spurs was soooo…impressive. But we know tonight’s game will tighter and we have still to learn how to break down a compact defence.
I hope this is the watershed where we finally demonstrate our right to be amongst the top echelon fighting for a place in Europe.
There is a danger that I am getting caught up in the euphoria of a single impressive performance- but I don’t think so! I really think that “the times – they are a changing”
Does Abraham have top 4 potential? 18 Million pounds is an awful lot if he doesn’t.
Maybe he is just a backup plan in case other choices fall through. If that is the case, the deal will not be completed until later in the month.
Tammy Abraham Eh?.
He certainly knows where a Championship goal is, but then so did Afobe and Dicko and Bonatini.
Can he locate the onion bag in the premier League?
Looks like we’re about to find out.
A couple of interesting facts:-
1) ‘Tammy’ was a big hit for Debbie Reynolds in 1957, the year that we beat Aston Villa twice, Birmingham City twice ( 5-1 stuffings both times) and tatered sandwell 3-0 on their mud patch. Needless to say we ended up as champions of the First Division.
2) Abraham was the dude who lead the Children of Israel out of the wilderness to The Promised Land. Nuno has done something similar to Wolves over the last couple of seasons. They should work well together.
…Or it might have been Moses.
First rule of journalism:- Never let the truth get in the way of a good story.
The portents look pretty good then.
Note to self.
Perhaps we should put a bid in for Remi Moses.
Lets hope Palace………Palace…….who the muck……… is Palace are tied like poor old arry and his spuds. By the way 10 out of 10 for the Olympic Gold medal standard dive…….arry.
Most of the national media just don’t like it when there favourite team gets beat by the up starts from the middle………lands how dare we out think and out play there little darlings.
Palace will be a different kettle of fish…….lets hope we have them with chips and plenty of salt and vinegar.
Wolves need to play against the bottom 6 as we have against the top 6, we should be beating teams like Palace with ease, they’re a poor side stop Wilf and the threats about gone.
After a great game against Spurs, Wolves should play a tight game and then let the pack loose 2nd half to ravage and finish off whats left. Cav and MGW to score
Interesting that over a four game period Spurs score 14 times over three of them and only once against Wolves. That result seems still to be put down to the poor players being tired and out of sorts – perhaps they should have asked for the game to be postponed if they wanted a rest. Tonight is a good chance to show that the Wembley result was down to good play/tactics by WWFC rather than to failings by Spurs (check out their touches in the penalty area, or rather lack of them) … so here’s hoping for a clear win and some more goals. Onwards and upwards for 2019 COYW
All the best for 2019 to all bloggers and the club.
Not easy tonight
Another change in midfield from the master
Jiminez Cav and Traore to score
COYW
We have to be careful and not concede. Keep it tight and we should be able to follow up with another win.
I honestly don’t know what to predict here as it depends which Wolves team decide to come out & play!!
My other half woke up New Years Day & told me he’d dreamt we’d beaten Palace 3-0 with Moutinho, Jimenez & Neves scoring – in that order. As I’m undecided I’ll go with his dream – my dreams are never right!
I agree with Dances – would loan out Leo & see what happens, if he finds his shooting boots again we’ve lost nothing, if not then sell him in the summer.
Hoping for 3 points.
COYW
Merson thinks Abraham should stay at Villa because they are a big club.
“Stay out on loan at the moment, he’s playing at a top club, probably one of the biggest in the Championship.
“Stay there, get some more goals. If I was him, I would stay at Villa.
What a 2@.
I can’t make this one due to being ill so hopefully a good result will make me feel better.
Have to say I thought there were a couple of surprises in Nuno’s team selection for the Spurs game but he got it spot on along with his tactics and substitutions. I hope that the result and performance has filled the players with confidence and not complacency ahead of tonight’s game.
Our home record is in need of improvement and we shouldn’t let the likes of Palace make us think we are only capable of winning and performing against the better teams in the league.
I have no idea who Nuno will pick to play tonight but he hasn’t let us down so far.
If we can settle down early, and with a goal, then we shall go on to a comfortable victory.
I read a tweet or something that Abramson won’t come to Wolves until the summer.
Read something else that he can’t play for more than two teams in a season and already has played for both Chelsea and Villa.
So add the two together and that kind of lines up. They will sign him but he will remain with Villa for the rest of the season or go back to Chelsea’s under age team.
Not sure of the logistics of that.
Let’s keep momentum and start the new year with a win.
Expect Nuno to shuffle the pack again. This will be a harder game than most people expect. Our defence is solid and I expect that will continue tonight.
I think this will be tight as they will come to park the bus, but I do believe we have the quality to turn them over. 1-0 wolves.
Why do people think of the Abraham signing? I’m unsure myself. I had hoped for better but as his signings have been spot on, I’ll back Nuno to have got it right.
I feel Palace have improved since we played them at Selhurst, reckon a draw is the most likely outcome after the endeavours at Wembley

This is circulating at the moment.
Tammy Abrahams played for Chelsea U23’s against Derby in August.
Tammy Abrahams played for Chelsea for 20 minutes against City.
Tammy Abrahams has played 15 games for Veela.
FIFA would step in as a player can only play for 2 different clubs in one season.

FFS, why am I not surprised!!!!!! No cutting edge tonight. We get so far, then it’s almost as if we don’t know what to do with the ball. Very frustrating.
That was the biggest load of rubbish that I’ve seen in a long while.
Completely nullifies our win at Spurs.
We were lucky to get nil.
I watched Tammy at Deepdale on the 29th against Villa and was most impressed with him. Thought at the time he’s suit us nicely.
Even more after tonight’s disappointing show.
After the Lord Mayors show we all know what follows and that was certainly shit needing to be shoveled
Fucks sake, talk about Jeykel and Hyde
Old habits die hard and this one just doesn’t want to die,
This is our biggest problem i thought it had gone away but no and Nuno needs to sort it or it could take the shine off what could be a very good season .
There is a Dog after all!!
I could not get a feed so didn’t see it!
There are extended highlights so you can suffer for 9:21 and consider yourself fortunate that it isn’t 95:00
Awful. BUT I would have taken 4 points from the Xmas games against Liverpool Fulham Spurs and Palace. Just not in the way I expected! The other thing is we seem to be struggling at home. 5 defeats out of the last 7 and four of them not scoring a single goal. Tells you something about the way we play against organised teams who nullify the counter attack. Still. We move on. Don’t want to sit through many more games like that this season but let’s get up to 38/40 points as soon as possible.
This kind of thing has been happening since last year and it is time Nuno figured out what the problem is instead of just shrugging his shoulders and saying “sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t”.
Some of these players are going to replaced and they won’t have any reason to feel hard done by.
FFS I thought we were playing rugby, you have to pass it backwards to move forward apparently
