I’m dreading this game.
Ruben injured, Raul suspended and Villa motivated by that late smash and grab job we did on them earlier in the season to hijack the points.

Regardless of the outcome, we really shouldn’t finish lower than eighth this season, given the points deficit and some of the presentable fixtures remaining but going higher seems fanciful.
Losing to Leeds in the manner we did was a hammer blow and the fallout has left us depleted and vulnerable.
Wolves have conjured results after big setbacks before this season but taking everything into account, this would be the biggest.
Villa
All the components should be in place for Villa to challenge for Europe but despite a lot of star talent, there’s a soft underbelly that holds them back.
There’s no shame in narrowly losing to West Ham and Arsenal (we know that well enough) but coming in off three morale-boosting victories I would have backed them to get a result in at least one of those games.

They also got turned over by Newcastle and Watford recently, which shouldn’t happen if you’re serious about disrupting the elite.
I hear a lot of Villa supporters talking about the need for a holding midfielder and given the seemingly relentless ambition of the owners and their ability to invest you’d imagine another big name will arrive in the summer.
Philippe Coutinho was an inspired January addition but youngster Jacob Ramsey has been equally impressive at times. I watched him for the England U21s the other night and thought he was excellent.
I think I’m correct in saying Tyrone Mings is suspended for this game. The big defender gets mixed reviews, but he’s an important presence for them and I think his absence increases our chances of a favourable result.
It’s 6 wins and 9 defeats from their 15 away matches to date making them the only team in the Premier League not to draw a single game on their travels, underlining their up and down credentials.

The away end
Some comments lifted from the pre-match thread on a popular Villa forum.
The one player from Wolves who 100% gets in our team is Neves and he ain’t playing on Saturday. Jimenez is not the player he was pre-injury but is still the best striker on their books, and he’s also not playing. Neto would have got in our team 12 months ago but he’s missed nearly 12 months of football since then, he’s only started one game since coming back (Palace home which they lost 2-0) and didn’t make the bench last 2 games so clearly got injured again. He won’t be anywhere near fully fit and doubtful he’ll start. They have a strong defence playing 5 at the back and are certainly greater than the sum of their parts but if we can’t take at least a point from this game, if not all 3, then it will once again be a game where this team have let themselves down. Wolves have trouble scoring and if we can breach their defence even just once we should be at least taking a draw. I feel we need all 3 though as Spurs, Liverpool and Leicester after this and we need a confidence-boosting win really. Gerrard was always great in derbies, he needs to ensure the team he manages are because we need to be well up for this right from the start.
Need a good mentality out the gate. Players need to view this as a derby match and show some passion and grit for the full 90 minutes. They have been stumbing lately and have more to play for. Will be a very tough game. I’m happy with a hard fought draw.
Well we are better than the likes of Brighton and Southampton but not as good as West ham and arsenal….wonder where we lie in comparison to these!
Wolves have lost about 7 at home now including to likes of Palace and Leeds in last few weeks. Burnley also got a 0-0 there in December so defend well and we should get at least a draw imo. Think like us they’ve won more away than at home. If we’re as lax as v Arsenal then probably another 1-0 defeat as they’re a very hard team to get points off if they go ahead in the game (apart from v Leeds but that was just a freak defensive display in last half hour).
Wolves
What would I do? I think you’ve got to pack the midfield because an open game suits Villa more than us and you’d back their attackers to do the damage.

That means Moutinho, Dendoncker and Cundle all starting, in the sort of shape we saw at Tottenham.
The other problem is the front two. I think Fabio has to start because we’ve never looked good without a centre forward and if this isn’t an opportunity for him, when will it be?
Another way to go would be a more conventional front three and maybe having Hwang/Podence in the side at the expense of Cundle. But then you’re probably playing a game that suits Villa a bit more. No doubt this is a tough one for Bruno with the paucity of options we have up top and in midfield.
Last time out
I hardly need to remind anyone about the miracle at Villa Park. Unlike the turnaround Leeds managed against us, there was no obvious catalyst and it just didn’t seem possible to claw that game back but somehow we did it with Ruben’s deflected free-kick sealing the glory.

We lost at home last season with Nelson Semedo bundling over John McGinn to give them a penalty with the last kick of the game. That was a frustrating encounter and summed up our poor season. It was a drab stalemate later in the season in the return fixture.
Predictions
Nobody got the 2-3 scoreline against Leeds and it was generally slim pickings in the Prediction League last time out.
Brompton Wolf remains clear at the top of the overall table at the end of Gameweek 30.

All the pundits and signs point to a Villa win, so bollocks to that, we are gonna turn them over.
I always liked Gerrard as a player, but he has a bunch of second division players at best to work with, and you cannot a silk purse make from pigs earoles, or something, so easy three points to us.
Definition of insanity is to keep doing the same thing expecting a different result so please Bruno play Fabio so at least we have a focal point up front either with Trincao in a free role and Cundle in a middle 3 or 343 with Podence other side. Villa are far from unbeatable even without Ruben but if he doesn’t play Fabio we’ll have no outlet and we could have a Crystal Palace afternoon when the ball just keeps coming back. I’d stick with Ait Nouri at home and take the game to them. Let’s focus on catching West Ham and not look over out shoulder.2002 still hurts.
Play Fabio and may as well play with 10 men. Manager is employed to make players better! Let’s see what progress he has made
Have that you Brummie tw*ts
Nevers and Raul out is a massive blow and illiterates how weak our small squad is.
But this situation could and should have been avoided the manager has asked for decent back ups for his squad and the lack of willingness to give him not what he wants but what we all know you need in the Premier League is down right neglect and poor management be that Scott Sellers or Jeff or both.
This was a golden chance to really make the top six but again our thread bare small squad with no real depth has come back to haunt us.
This has been the case since we got promoted we got away with injuries the first couple of seasons but the last two have shown your luck will not last forever that’s why….Jeff you have to plan for these situations. .
Change the record, get behind the players who start and you might be surprised at their quality. Fair points made by the Villa end but 2 nil to the Wanderers.
Its my favorite record……that and Never Mind The Bollocks here’s the Sex Pistols…..oh and London calling by The Clash.
Problems ! Problems! Problems ! Your the problem The problem is you! My favourite track off Never Mind The Bollocks. Ay giv that album a blast for ages. About time i did. Hello EMI. Goodbye !
Submission…..going down….down dragging me down.
There all me fav’s Cheese there’s not a bad song on the album, it the pert album music wise and socially it encapsulates the grimness of the time brillantlyy.
The way the cost of living is going we ay much better off now! Anarchy !!
Maybe you should change teams because this team isn’t getting any bigger.
Not optimistic about this for exactly the reasons Thomas states in his opening piece. The only hope is that I have been wrong plenty of times before.
Come on! It’s Villa who have been hit and miss, ten points behind us. Gotta be winning games like this… and if we do than up to 7th (possibly only for a short period). Some of the former quieter members of our squad are starting to really perform. Keep the faith.
Living amongst that lot makes this is a must win game not for league position as that’s pretty much nailed on but just to shut their big brummie gobs up.
I believe they know they aren’t that good and are as capable as we are of cocking it up so I firmly agree with your formation and safety should come first with the absence of our two main men.
This is our replacement albion game for the time being and my dislike for this bunch runs just as deep so if I am to step foot outside my door over the next few weeks we have to get a result… stuff the football just bloody beat them.
Not a great Fabio lover at this stage but he needs to step up and make me love him ( in a mons way of course )lets hope he gets the nod as we do struggle without a target man of some sort and podence is too lightweight to carry the burden as a no. 9.
I shall be glued to my dodgy box on my own saturday and when we win i shall be down that boozer quicker than a baggies fan at the post office on giro day.
We have got to get something from this after the surrender two Leeds 2-1 to the Wolves
Hope you’re right Dek
COMBs!
I was surprised to read those comments from the Villa ‘away end’. What ? No mention of 1982 . Yes Peter Withe this. Gary Shaw that. Dennis Friggin Mortimer. Ron ‘Happy’ Saunders. And endlessly going ‘Villa Villa Villa Villa Villa Villa Villa Villa ‘ and ‘ ippy hey hoe’ or whatever it is. Meanwhile in Buckingham Palace Prince William will be going “I’m so excited mommy we have Wolves today” to which The Queen replies “No William we are having beef steaks”. William “No no no mommy I mean the football team” The Queen “William . The only Wolves I have seen were at Twycross Zoo when I went there in my horse drawn carriage in 1975” etc etc etc. Well. Neither team draw many do they so this is going to be a draw. Could be exciting as well. So 23 all.
I think that is exactly the conversation that will be had but being pedantic surely he we’ll be calling her Maj Granny not mommy?
Oh yes. Well spotted. Shows how much notice I take of the monarchy !
Hope I’m wrong, but think we may lose this one unless one or two of our lads have a really great attacking game. Fingers crossed but…
Looking forward to this one as I’ve managed to get hold of a last minute ticket. Yes, we are short of some very important players, but it gives the others the opportunity they dream of. Cundle has shown maturity and confidence beyond his age and he should be a starter.
Hoping to return on the train ‘down south’ with 3 more points added to our already pretty good tally.
For me the disaster of the Leeds game has meant this season is effectively over in terms of European qualification with Neves out till at least May and Jiminez out for two games now .Hopefully we can at least finish in the top 10 although with so much greater promise that is quite disappointing .
At least we should hopefully keep 11 men on the pitch now Jiminez is not playing …..
Considering that the atmosphere, noise and general all round support at Molineux are recognised as being right up there with the best in the Premier League, I am absolutely gobsmacked that we have such a rubbish home record.
The manager and the players are always going on about the fans being like a twelfth man and driving them on to greater things.
Hmmm!
I must admit that I am not very confident of getting anything from Villa on Saturday.
Neves, Jimenez, Semedo and possibly Neto will be unavailable.
Do we risk Trincao again? His performance last time out probably deserves another start.
Do we put Silva up front? I think we need someone with a bit of height. Watching long balls up to Podence and seeing him attempt to out jump 6 feet+ defenders isn’t my idea of entertainment.
Who do we play in defence? I’d like to see Kilman back for this one, but should he come in for Boly or Saiss?
I’m glad I’m not a manager.
So am I.
Pmsl. I know what you meant which is why I am laughing so.
You’d be out the team straight away.
I’d have you bringing drinks on every time a wicket fell.
You can’t tell me anything about football mate!
Choices Choices. Whoda thought?
Yes, Bruno has plenty of choices even if Neto isn’t fit, and despite the absence of Semedo, Neves, and Jiminez. I think it’ll be a question of whether the likes of Cundle or Trincao play as well as they’ve shown they can. It’s certainly a great opportunity for Fabio to have a start, and I’d like to see Podense and Huang take the field at some point too. Then there are Ait Nouri, and Kilman, who I thought had been rested due to Ukraine family stress ?
Anyway, we have the numbers and quality to beat ‘Gerrard’s Villa’, and it’s over to Bruno to select the team and the strategy. I’d love to be the manager !
Wolves will be fired up for this one, lets hope the Ref has a good game. really fed up with refs at the mo.
Silva in for jimmy
Cundle in for neves
Coady- kilman and whoever pulls up the best from boly or saise in our back three.
Hopefully some good news regarding Neto and semedo and we will have enough, just don’t give them an early goal .
Come on you wolves
This is going to be very interesting..
We won’t want to lose and Vilest will want to win .
11 v 11
Jumpers for goalposts
The big match
Ford capri 3.0
Gotta win this one
Of course the injury/suspension situation is an unwanted complication, but that will surely make the victory taste all the sweeter.
We know not (or at least I know not) the fitness situation of Nelson and Pedro so we may have more options than we think. Also Fabio has shown both intent and ability in his recent cameos and will relish the opportunity a full 90mins presents. Our defense remains unruffled by problems elsewhere in the squad and, despite the trauma of the collapse against Leeds, is still our trump card.
So face the foe with confidence I say, for they are unworthy of our fear.
Points shared
I’m looking forward to this game as we’ll get a chance to see how good we are without our talismanic duo Neves and Jiminez. Young guns Silva and Cundle will hopefully come in and show their worth.
Silva had a good game against Wham last time he started and Cundle did well against Spurs.
Silva is a bit lightweight for 2 upfront so i would prefer 3/4/3 with Hwang and Podence flanking him but if Cundle comes in for Neves this may not be a problem with him playing further forward.
Although Trincao was impressive last time out his previous 17 games were neither here nor there and one good showing should not get his place back for me so an early sub appearence if things are going awry to see if he has found his form.
I think Boly keeps his place although we have rich pickings in that position with Kilman fit.
Villa look like they have the capability to slaughter us if we are not on our game. Personally i think we will be so 2-1 victors ay it. UTW!
Apologies – off subject I know. But just read a report (B’ham Live) that Wolves spent just under £12 million (ninth highest in PL) on agents’ fees during last 2 21/22 windows. I’m struggling to work out what for.
Anyway, good luck on Saturday lads. Looking forward to it.
If Birmingham live reported I was alive I’d assume I’d died.
It’s just a shite vehicle pushing dramatic and unsubstantiated headlines for click-bait.
Birmingham Live-
Belongs to Reach plc. comprising Birmingham Mail and Sunday Mercury. Don’t see much sign of “cliclbait” and looks much more authentic than a lot of speculative news outlets.
We’d have struggled without Jimenez but no Jimenez and no Neves and I think we’re in for a dire 90 minutes.
Here’s hoping Fabio can pull something out of the bag for once. Scoring for the Portugal U21s should hopefully give him a boost. But I’m still to be convinced that Fosun haven’t just been taken for a ride by an elaborate Screech from saved by the bell impersonator.
Like your suggested formation Thomas and would particularly like to see Cundle in the team for this game. Tough without both Neves and Jimenez, but plumping for a draw.
I commented at the preview of the Wolves v Leeds game that Trincao has had his chance and under no circumstances instances should we use our option as he is not good enough. Then he plays his best game ever and looked pretty good, albeit only one game. That had me thinking (on no!). A couple years ago Neto was in and out of the team, but last season he was brilliant. Ait Nouri”s first season, he was in and out, and could not defend and now he is quite good. Last season Vitania was in and out the team and not very good, and now is playing brilliantly (not with us) and even Liverpool are now interested in him. Even Killman was in and out and is now a regular. Perhaps Trincao only needs one season and will thrive next season. Who knows! Let’s hope he has a few more good games this season.
Wolves v Villa close game, whoever scores first will not lose. uncertain result with our injuries/suspensions.
I’ve watched many of Vitinha’s games this season and one thing is for sure. He’s not playing brilliantly. He’s just as lightweight as he ever was and it’s very unlikely in my opinion that he’d be good enough for the premier league.
Haven’t seen Vitinha this season but on what I saw last year didn’t rate him at all, similar to Trincao – too lightweight.
Playing in Portugal is not the PL, as you say, and if Liverpool want to pay megabucks for him good luck.
But then again it looks as if we called it wrong on Goncalves.
Next dilemma – Fabio.
I think and hope he’s good enough.
The Wolf is hopefully nailed on to win the Scottish Grand National but will our favourites turn over the villains or be Wolves in sheeps’ clothing? Let’s hope they show up Mings and co to be second raters. I’m banking on our defence to return to its miserly best.
I don’t know if this is an omen but I actually dreamt that this match would finish 1-1. Doesn’t say much for my street-cred that I’m not dreaming of shagging Miss World! If I’d dreamt we would beat Villa 5-1 it wouldn’t have been quite so bad. Bit sad, innit.
I’m reminded of the story of George Best being in bed in a luxury hotel with Miss World, with champagne bottles and money strewn everywhere over the bed. Didn’t the porter ask him where it all went wrong?
This is the just sort of match that the pundits say we will lose. We have crucial players out with injuries and a red card. And the pundits just adore golden balls Gerrard. But it’s just the sort of match we can win. I’m sure that Bruno and the team will have learnt lessons from the Leeds debacle, which is why I think we will win. 1-0.
Mary Stavin at Birmingham Holiday Inn.
DRAW 1-1
I think this game will make top billing on MOTD……..
We’ll never get top billing on MOTD not even if we beat Man City 10-9.
Were we not first v Leeds?
Don’t know. Couldn’t watch.
Hope Fabio’s goal midweek has given him confidence although I think he has been playing better this season with fewer appearances. Really like Cundle and hope he plays as well as last time. Still not sure about Trincao but like previous posters, think he may need a full season to bulk up and be less lightweight on the ball.
Seems like everything is stacked against us so…
Don’t have good feeling about this one
If Moutinho is tired then. Coutinho could run the midfield even if Cundle plays a blinder
Will Neto or Semedo
Be back?
I’ve given up on Young Prince
Don’t want to be right with my prediction but… sorry
Stalemate… 0-0
Yep! I’m with you Aqui. We’ve struggled to score all season and now we have some very unhelpful injuries to make scoring even less likely.
Defensively we’re usually very accomplished, but I think the loss of Neves will be a real blow to our midfield.
Put that altogether and the best I can summon up is an optimistic goalless draw.
At least we might have a decent ref for this one, if there are any left in the game.
We need some big performances from the fringe players in this one, we know they can produce the goods if the master plan is the right one. Over to you Bruno.
Hope we can manage a draw 1 – 1
Can’t see anything but a draw at best, I’m afraid.
There is still quality in our side but I agree, this needs to be a tight encounter or we risk playing into Villa’s hands. Definitely a time for Silva, Trincao or both to come of age and start bagging some goals.
A draw should at least cement an 8th place and we have enough at the back to keep them out. I just can’t see where our goals are coming from.
Totally agree with Thomas regarding flooding the midfield. We’ll miss Neves and Raul but being positive it does open up opportunities for others.
They’re as inconsistent as we are so it’s you to predict so a bit of fence sitting I think.
This one is a difficult one to predict. How fluid will we be without Neves and Jiminez, and who will come in to replace them? I am concerned.
We have continuously been hoping that when Silva comes on he has an amazing game, likewise for Trincao. Whilst they have certainly raised their game they have still not yet imo had an amazing game. I am concerned.
But not concerned enough to predict a loss.
I take heart Brompton that you’re top of that other league, the prediction one, so you must know what you’re talking about when you predict a win! I’m concerned enough to say that one or the other, or both, of Silva and Trincao need to play to their potential for us to win this match. Adama Traore never fulfilled his potential. The time for nearly men at Wolves must be over ASAP if we are to crack the top six. 7th place is our realistic target for this season now.
I note that Kevin Friend has been ‘demoted’ to VAR duties this weekend, but not, thankfully, for our match. However, Nuno’s least-favourite ref Lee Mason is on VAR duty for us.
With Ruben and Raul I would expect to win without too much problem but without them I think we cold be in some trouble.
Does Bruno trust young Silva to lead the line? Maybe we find out in this game.
Would take a point now.
Not overly confident about this one . With Raul and Ruben out I just dont see where the goals are going to come from.
But Hey Ho…..play with pace and passion and we could actually win this one…..
COYW
Forgot about my prediction.
I’m really not confident about this one. We need an airtight defensive performance but with the disruption in midfield and the personnel they have in the attacking third, I worry we’ll get opened up.
Mings being out could disrupt them and open the door for our attack, but I’m not sure I have enough confidence in any combination of Fabio, Trincao, Hwang and Podence to expose the indecision. There’s plenty of talent there but not enough presence or devilment to take the game on and drive us forward.
As such, I’m saying a narrow defeat.
I hope to be proven wrong of course and with Raul back for Newcastle, Burnley and Brighton I’ll feel better about our prospects. He’s rightly been criticised for some dodgy performances, but with the squad we’ve got, he remains integral. We’ve got to address that in the summer and find another number 9 that can put themselves around and bring some of those floaty wide players into the game.
Sorry Thomas,
Raul has a two match ban so he will still be suspended for the Newcastle match .
Good info. I didn’t know that. Big loss.
Hate doing this
Hope it’s wrong
Going to be a difficult afternoon without Neves and Raul. I would like to see Trincao and Fabio together but not hopeful that it will happen. I expect Bruno to flood midfield and try to catch them on the break. Maybe Neto(if fit) can put in a 20 minute worldy performance and get a late winner for us.
I suspect though that we will just be hanging on for a point at the end.
Will be missing this one unfortunately…. but hoping to find a bar with it on tv and of course drinking the San Miguel at €2 euros 30. Disgusting lol.
We’re going to miss Neves and Jimi big time and I don’t see their replacements coming up to the mark….
The only plus side is Mings not playing .. then again he can have a few faux pas.. so we’ll see….
Darren England as ref and Lee Mason on VAR… buff said..
I’m not sure where the goals will come from but this is a chance for our boys to become men. Cue Rayan Ait Nouri, Fabio Silva and Luke Cundle.
Mark the date!!
Friday November 25th
England v USA in Qatar
Now who do I root for???!!!
And we got Iran in the same group.
That should be fun!
Whoever wins?
You should know USA don’t do ‘soccer’ Clive. They are ok at ice hockey, basketball and something resembling rugby . Only with more PPE than a Ukranian guard. Other than that they are jolly good at eating steak the size of Oregon and going mad after 2 cans of Budweiser ?
They’ll be champing at the bit to get the Leeds game out of their systems. Trincao and Fabio hopefully buzzing and ready to step up…
Far from optimistic without Rueben and Raul and Semedo, though I beleive they will be without the Minger which helps.
Time for Silva to step up to the plate, scored for the Portuguese U21 so maybe, maybe…..but don’t pin your hopes on it.
Does he play 3 5 2 with Silva and either Podence or Trincao or 3 4 3 with all 3 and Hwang in reserve? Hope to see Cundle get a start and see what he can do.
Anyway going with my usual 2-0 prediction, but without a lot of confidence……….
I think Bruno might be tempted to play Silva in a front 2. Bruno noted that Silva did well in a front 2 in the match against Greece, and scored. Hwang up front with him? Maybe it’s worth a shot for 60 minutes or so.
Nothing to add really, we have a strong defence and a weak attack, Villa have the opposite. Can’t see a goal at either end.
Changing the subject a little.
If any of you suffer from insomnia, just go to catch up on The World Cup draw.
My God!
I could have been watching paint dry or a match at the poorthorns.
When I woke up I think England were in a group we should win easily.
I recorded it so was able to fast forward to when the last ball was drawn. A lot less tedious and the same result.
Nothing is as bad as being at the Poorthorns!
Goals at an absolute premium here. I don’t know where we can find one.
Sitting on the fence for this one.
Without Neves and Raul its going to be a tough afternoon. I’d be happy with a draw.
Can I dread this match and be hopeful. Yes, I can because I’m 70 and a lifelong Wolves fan. Not going bc OH is due much-needed surgery next week and I don’t want Covid to scupper it but that’s no hardship bc I’ve not seen a live win for ages.
Will listen though so Wolves fans better make a lot of (supportive) noise.
Can only predict a win (there might be slight sigh of relief at a draw).
Many posters quite rightly stating it’ll be tough without missing regulars Semedo, Neves and Jiminez.
BUT surely a chance to try new things.
No problem at RB Jonny is as good as Semedo – both accomplished full internationals,
Neves – irreplacable. So change it, If Bruno doesn’t trust Cundle, then move Saiss back into midfield and Bring Kilman back, My own view either play 442 with Hwang and Fabio up front or 352/532 with Saiss in midfield for Neves.
And surely now is the time for a do or die run for Silva as the main striker. If he doesn’t make it soon his £35 million price tag is frittering away with depreciation.
Interesting afternoon in store.
Weird
friggin’ weird.
I find myself actually agreeing with you.
There really is a first time for everything.
Weird.
There doesn’t seem much confidence amongst Wolves fans for this game.
No doubt we are affected by injury and suspension, but we still have enough to grind out a positive result today. Neves is a massive miss and I’d like to see Cundle given another chance. I think it will be Dendoncker tho.
Jimenez replacement should be Silva, but again I’m not convinced he will start. I expect Semedo and Neto to both start on the bench.
C’mon lads, it feels like we’re going into the game 1-0 down.
I know we’ve had to chew over the tuff gristle of Leeds 3 for a couple of weeks, and bid tara to our Champions League aspirtions, but this is Vanilla at home, so lets throw what’s left of the kitchen sink at them. Groundstaff have installed a bottle screen incase Prince Willy turs up
We may be a couple of Talismen short of a picnic, but this is an opportunity for the subs to shine and St Bruno to display some more tactical nouse. Trincoa’s 1st half performance should have been the news, not K. Friend’s fiendish card waving.
Hi Ho Wolverhampton.
1 lv & COYW.
Can’t see where our goals will come from.
Well I know where they won’t come from! Jota just scored with a peach of a header against Watford. Jota is the joint top scorer with headers in the PL this season, which is quite remarkable given his modest height and stature! Mind you, young Silva has shown a Jota-like knack of getting into scoring positions in the limited playing time he’s had so far, and he looks a couple of inches taller than Jota. Hope springs eternal…
Happy with a point
Just watched the ‘penalty’ on Sky Sports.
I’ve seen some poor decisions but that takes the biscuit.
The ref didn’t cover himself in glory all match, but that was absolutely ridiculous.
Well slightly out with my 23-23 prediction. But i’ll take the 2-1 win. But yet again. What is up with these referees. That is never a penalty in a month of Sundays. Where is VAR. Again
One of the problems with var in the epl is the ‘ overturning rule’
Wtf is that all about anyway, the ref said a penalty so it won’t get overturned by var because it’s not a clear and obvious error?
Which is basically Latin for, a load of bollocks.
Once it goes to var, surely the point is to correct any error and make a decision based on the facts presented!!!
Not , to try and stay friends with your fellow refs.
Best league
Worst refs.
Come on you wolves
I’ll answer my question. It appeared at old Trafford to ensure manure dae lose to Leicester. Corruption in full flow.
IF that was a pen im giving my house away on e bay …..what a twat that ref was
Last 10 minutes, players wound up, crowd wound up, idiots want to fight each other in the street, skirmishes outside ASDA and on the Ring Road, Police have to wade in. WHY? The man in black loses the plot and gives nonsense decisions, something needs to be done, it’s not acceptable.
