With the 19/20 campaign slowly coming to a close, several clubs are currently preparing ahead of the next season. While some clubs are negotiating with their clubs trying to keep hold of them for another season, some are also scouting the transfer market for potential players to sign to their respective clubs. Premier League club, Wolverhampton Wanderers is one of the latter.

According to the report originating from Italian outlet Calciomercato, Wolves, who are currently scouting the transfer market all over Europe, have set their eyes on AC Milan forward Rafael Leao, who has been priced at £32 million on the market.
And apparently, the English club have a chance in bringing him to Molineux Stadium due to the forward’s agent, who is Jorge Mendes.
Being in collaboration with the Portuguese agent, Wolves have been able to land Rui Patricio, Ruben Neves, Joao Moutinho, and others, who have all made they’re made known in the Premier League since joining the club. Now they will be taking advantage of the Portuguese agent’s large contact book, which has several talented players in it, this summer transfer window.
The reports from Italy just confirmed that, as Leao, who transfer to AC Milan from Ligue 1 club Lille in the summer of 2019, has been having an impressive campaign with the Italian club this season with his outstanding form.
Calciomercato further claims following the Portuguese forward impressive run of form this 19/20 campaign, he has sparked interest from not just the English club but also Milan rivals Napoli SSC, who are currently above them in the Serie A table while betting on Football Betting brings you impressive ahead of any transfer in the market this summer.
Thanks to the impression Leao has made so far in his short career, his talents are now being compared to that of Ronaldo, that might too much but it can also serve as an inspiration for the young forward.
The person who compared him is a former Sporting manager, Tiago Fernandes. Talking to Tuttomercatoweb, he said last year: “Rafael is a No 9, I’d say that he reminds me of ‘Fenomeno’ Ronaldo for his pace, technique and the quality of his finishing.
A few months into the year, Fernandes, who was speaking to L’Equipe, also claimed that the young Portuguese was “better” than the Cristiano Ronaldo in his early years with the Sporting CP.
On his first season with Milan, he has been able to rack up to 5 goals and 2 assists in 28 games in all competitions for the club. That is still a far cry from meeting up with any of the Ronaldo’s career.
Molineux Stadium should be one of the best places that could help Leao improve his football game further, with Wolves also currently looking his way with the hopes of signing him.
He is not the only player linked with a move to Wolves as Benfica prolific defender Ruben Dias is also linked to Molineux Stadium, according to Bleacher Report.
With three games to go, Wolverhampton Wanderers are currently fighting in the Premier League in hopes of regaining a European spot.
