I think they’d call that a good game for the neutrals.

But it was a good game for Wolves too with more evidence that the Bruno revolution is well and truly in full swing.
No Saiss? No Neves? No problem.
Toti Gomes sauntered in from the cold and looked strong, capable and ready to go. He’ll face sterner examinations but I was impressed with his aggression, aerial ability and composure in possession.
His fellow deputy Leander Dendoncker kept things moving nicely in midfield and any creativity we lost in Ruben’s absence was more than made up for by Podence and Trincao dropping into the pockets and getting things going.
Prior to Raul’s nonchalant penalty they’d got into a few dangerous positions and threatened to play through a shaky looking Saints defence.
But there’s no doubt we were riding our luck at the other end with Sa getting through plenty of work including one point blank save and the defence seeing off a barrage of set pieces.
They came after us big time after the break too so it was pleasing to get that second goal and stroll through to the final few minutes.
If you’re going to get pegged back late on you might as well concede a worldie and that missile from James Ward-Prowse was something special. Hats off to him.
Had they got the equaliser and not hit the bar moments later it would have been hard to begrudge them the point.
But their all or nothing approach continued to leave them exposed at the back and Adama should have taken his first glaring opportunity before converting a more complex second.
Even if he is heading for the exit door I was happy to see him get that goal because his stats continually play down his contributions and he deserves more respect.
But it’s not about one player and today underlined that clearly.
Wolves are a team and based on everything we’ve seen in recent times, a very good one. Underestimate them at your peril.

We have very very good players. The league position is no surprise. Who needs Coutinho and Digne when we have Toti Gomez and Luke Cundle. Thought Kilman had an absolute storming game. Podence was excellent but faded a little later on. I ay gonna complain about pinching the 3 points because as we all know, there have been games this season when we got nothing and deserved more. So a very good afternoons work. Two more wins and we are safe! FWAW!
I’m looking at 40 points – and then see where the season takes us.
Yes, Toti had a decent debut. Nonetheless I was a bit surprised he was picked ahead of D.Sanderson, since the Championship in my view holds a higher level than the league in Switzerland. Some claim the tempo in the Championship is higher than in the Premiership for instance. It is probably because they want to test him before he goes back to Switzerland at the end of january, if he head back at all now(?). Definitely a performance to build on further.
Surely it was all about what Bruno observed in training?
– Training performances matter, sure. I would however rather prefer that he was loaned out to an English club in the Championship or Premier league than to Grasshoppers, so that he could develop and adapt his game to the high standard of English football. The only advantage playing for Grasshoppers is that he get the opportunity to play in the same defensive system.
All we’ve got to go on, so far, is yesterday and it was one of the best debuts by a defender that I’ve seen. Despite your dismissal of the Swiss league there are some pretty decent teams, way above Championship level, eg Young Boys.
A very valuable 3 points, 3 goals and good solid performances from everyone on the pitch. Well done to Gomes for a very assured debut and a word for Fabio Silva too who was superb in his 10 minute cameo. Well done Bruno and his team.
Really like your summary Thomas.
A difference between last season and now …….. missing key players and still beating a good team 3-1 …….. and it’s not a big surprise.
2-0 up and coasting without Neves or Saiss ( or Adama ) until the Ward-Prosser Exocet. And regardless of which side of the Traore fence you sit, or indeed on the fence, wasn’t it great to see him score and the pleasure on his face and that of his team mates.
You’d have to be pretty hard to begrudge him that.
Another great result. A real team performance. An excellent debut for a youngster. Our Captain Talisman and Enigma all on the scoresheet. Another 3 points.
It was a shame to concede, but if you’re going to let one in, better that it’s to a wonder strike.
All in all another great week for Wolves !
Bruno, take a bow !
UTW
– Traore scoring is actually a bit worrying, I mean the timing of the goal – within the january window and several clubs interested on the prowl.
Traore scoring hopefully means that we might get a smidgen more for him when he goes.
We need all the ££££s we can get to keep in with the big boys.
– Another dribbler arrives soon: Chiquinho, bought from Estoril for 5 mill. Can play as a winger on both sides.
The usual suspects kept up their high standards and in some cases set the bar even higher. Max Kilman is morphing before our eyes into a world class defender. He was sensational today. Daniel Podence also showed his real class and how much he annoys the opposition was reflected in the number of niggling fouls he had to endure.
Big shout out to Toti Gomes who appeared from nowhere and almost stole the show. Strong, quick and composed, he displayed everything he needed to to keep his spot in the team. Well done lad.
Overall, a great game for we fans and the neutrals . Saints fans though will think they deserved something and I have to admit, without Jose Sa, they may well have got it.
Some strong positives
We have just about the best keeper in the league. How reassuring it must be to play in a defense with Sa behind you !!
Maybe our younger guys are better, and more ready than we thought. Gomes was excellent. Strong in the tackle, good in the air and positionally very sound. But best of all he displayed considerable confidence from the get go. He did not look out of place
We did OK in midfield, somehow managing to mask Nevez`s absence. But he was missed. We are a far better side with Nevez in it
In Bruno we have a top class Coach. He has the team playing with confidence and to its strengths. Under him, with a little support from Mr Shi, we could well develop into a top class team capable of competing with anyone
It`s a great time to be a Wolves fanatic.
A great win against a good team and, in the past, we might well have lost this game.
Great to see Adama score and the deputisers for the covid-wounded did magnificently. Fabio’s doing well, so is Podence and so is MGW on loan says Bruno. We have Pedro and Johnny to come back too. Sa is definitely one of the best keepers in the league and our defence is top class. All of this is down to Bruno and his team and he and they deserve enormous credit for producing such a team playing in this enterprising and creative style.
We have a small squad but it’s high quality. We should trust in our own and it’ll be onward and upwards I reckon!
I hold up my hands.
Back in August I feared a relegation battle.
What Bruno Lage is doing here is inspired.
The defence is virtually impenetrable. The great Brian Clough always started by building from the back. Well he would approve of our back 5 whoever is playing and today Mr Cool Gomez was outstanding. Hope we have a few more like him in the locker.
And now the goals are starting to come. Fabio starting to look like the real deal, Podence now coming into his own, Hwang and Neto to come back And today we hardly even missed Neves. And lo and behold Traore found the net.
It’s been an absolutely outstanding few weeks, well done to all concerned.
And finally – what a goalkeeper.
Agree with everything you say except the bit about hardly missing Neves. I think that we missed him greatly and the midfield control that we normally exert was distinctly lacking.
But we did score three goals. That said of course we missed him – it was intended as a compliment to to those who played.
Not sure where the dislike came from Ped as it was blindingly obvious that we missed Neves.
Outstanding performance, and finally we got a VAR decision. The stars are aligned. As people have already said, masterclass performance by Sa, Podence and Kilman.
Happy for Traore – so what’s with the white gloves under the black ones? Are we supposed to read something into that about his future?
Yes.
He referees snooker on his off days!
Is he Len Ganley in disguise?
.
Clearly like me a Northern Soul fan keeping the faith.
No point him going to Sperms its a long way to travel to Blackpool for the all nighters they run 🙂
We had the rub of the green today and VAR judgements in our favour ….about blinkin time I say.
Lots of well dones, Sa, Kilman, Coady all superb
Toti who ? we all said at first but blimey , well played son you did a great job
No one ever mentions Dendoncker but don’t underestimate the value of a versatile pro who fits in where he is asked to and gets the job done.
Well done Bruno for a sensible team selection and bringing on subs to change things , my one query remains Trincao who appears lightweight and reluctant to keep things simple, poor decisions at times, turning back into cul de sacs , losing the ball by checking back inside, yes he’s got potential but please let’s not blow the summer kitty on him.
I want Traore and Boly to stay and will be sorry to see them leave but really want the board to support Bruno, he deserves it and the league table says he’s earned it. Happy days.
If we had played and won the two games postponed recently, we would be fourth.
Friggin’ fourth!
And that is no pipe dream.
Although we played well today, we rode our luck a bit, and could have let in more.
But, we’ve been on the end of some hard luck, chances gone a begging, results this season, and if yow dough put the ball in the net, it dough count.
So, tough shit Southampton.
We could have had at least four penalties today, Semedo got pushed over in the box, before three instantaneous fouls, leading up to the eventual penalty award.
That ref was totally out of his depth, and even though the foreign commentator on Hesgoal was completely incomprehensible, the ref’s name cropped up incessantly.
What was also interesting was the commentator pronounced Wolverhampton by sounding the H.
Every one knows there ay an H in Wolverampton.
Like a silent P in bath.
My mid term nomination for player of the season is a dead heat between Sa and Kilman.
Both absolutely bostin’ today, yet again.
It would appear we ain’t gonna sign any big time johnny types this window, and from what we’ve seen so far, with youngsters coming in, we don’t need any.
And what a wonderful name our unknown left back has, showing his Italian/Mexican heritage!!
Superb debut.
Well done to all the lads, yet another all round excellent team game, three more goals and three more points.
And the shit lost in the last minute!!
Life is good.
Cloive
Roiding yow look is a soin tha woi is berrer dan we woz lorst sayson aye it?
appy doys.
Listening to some heavy blues by Danny Bryant and supping single malt….
Can loaf get mooch berra?
Spell check not enabled, eh?
Worse than my computer!
From where I was sitting in the North Bank, Semedo clearly fell over. Can’t disagree with your other comments apart from the missing h.
Hi Clive … couple of things mate , they privatised the Royal Mail a couple of years back, so I got your Christmas card today
They’ll probably try to tell me it’s next Yeats as the service is so good now but I know the truth
Mate .. thank you both for your kind thoughts .I hope all is good with the you know what
And fuck off West Brom
And also I think I heard the feller behind me saying it was the refs first premier league game today
I think it was his first premier league game too Matt…. and didn’t it show….
He’s the second ref to make a bow reffing one of our games…. maybe the PL think that if he screws it up good old VAR will help him out…
What made me laugh though was Andre Marina checking with Ralph H and the other coaches if they had a good Xmas… he was chatting as though they’d all been out the night before…
On BT Sport Score – Peter Walton when questioned said “it’s a lot of pressure he is dealing with” being his first game.
They whole panel turned around and said, well then if he isn’t ready he shouldn’t be reffing the game!
We certainly rode our luck against a spirited and at times niggly Saints team- they were fortunate to finish the game with 11 players given some of the ill-tempered challenges flying in. I was pleased to see our aggression when winning back possession and ability to recycle the ball despite Podences’s, at times, extravagant flicks. Fabio is starting to look like a game changer when introduced and Trincao had his best game yet. Pleased for Adama but the overriding feeling was one of team spirit epitomised by Conor Coady who leads and drives the players to be a sum greater that the individual parts. He is bringing the best out of Max, Nelson and the younger lads. I would keep our powder dry this window on CB acquisitions if Toti and Sanderson can be brought on.
Agreed on CB situation.
Mosquera and hopefully Big Willy to come back, Hoever, Dendoncker and Marcal can do a job and what a debut by Toti. An absolutely inspired all by Bruno.
Fully agree about the potential of the young guys. Toti looked the real deal today. And don`t forget that Mosqera, who looked very promising in the pre season games, should be back in February.
If there is any money in the war chest, then surely it should be used to bolster the mid field options. Moutinho cannot be expected to consistently sustain such a high standard for too much longer, and we would be very threadbare without him
Fabio’s pressing and positioning has been the best of the forwards. Deserves more time.
Great performance all round. Sa is a great upgrade on Our previous keeper who was none too shabby himself.
Kilman made a Bobby Mooresque tackle in front of the North Bank that in its own way was every bit as good as that thunderbolt free kick and even managed to play it out and Silva in his cameo started to look like the real deal.
Raul will benefit from his goal as will Adama and VAR now know they’re allowed to judge in our favour!
We rode our luck but by god we’re due some.
No one else has mentioned it but I thought Southampton were a dirty side, body checks, professional fouls, and I don’t think I’ve seen more player melees in a Wolves game this season. Silva and Traore were taken out within seconds of them coming on. Traore had to change shirts because it was ripped off his back. A real slug fest that was. Great entertainment and to win it really does show our strength of character.
It could have gone either way, but Wolves with Sa and Kilman absolutely top of their game almost add a blanket of reassurance that the opposition are not going to get through this Wolves defence.
Despite his giving away the free kick that led to Ward Prowse’s superb free kick goal Moutinho was our best player. He stepped up even further to cover for the big miss of Neves.
But all round superb from our team. These are brilliant days to be a Wolves fan. And do we really need to buy players when we appear to have youngsters of the stamp of Gomes coming through?
Yes maybe a class midfielder, but we do have Jordao. I really enjoyed this performance, I hope it can only get better for us, and we can go on to get 60 points or more this season which I think would be our best total in the Prem.
Nice easy drive up from a foggy Dorsetshire. Nice pint (or 2ish)in the Combermere and 3 points… What’s not to like.
Agree Thomas for a neutral a good and lively game with lots of talking points.
Whilst I agree that it is good that VAR went our way, for me personally the stop in the game, the age it takes to run every angle, the anticlimax of ‘have we, havent we scored’ is a real turn off.
Allen, think you are spot on, I too thought the Saints were nigglie and trying their best to kick us off the park. Big up for Tito (be honest how many of us, when we saw the team news said Who?) took his chance. Max goes from strength to strength. We have to be pleased with where we are given the uncertainty surrounding Fosun ‘ strategic direction.
Well done boys and to the Mol for creating a cracking atmosphere.
Keep the faith.
Have seen tweets from some of their fans stating that Wolves players were falling down at will! That sort of tactic by Wolves belongs on the continent!
What about gravity? If you’re pushed you tend to fall over!
They did push us close but bad losers, and their way to stop us by fouling. Compare the way Kilman tackles, he goes for the ball not the man.
This comment in the local paper from a Saints fan made me chuckle. So thought you all might like a Sunday morning smile, whilst we gloat on 3 points – from the Southampton Echo comment after the match report.
“Very entertaining finale but the BAFTA awards must go to Wolves. They are on par with Spurs for best actor category!!
🙂
Keep the faith
Seems they’ve yet to see Sterling play then.
Lol love ot Sea Pidgeon… They have that to look forward to then. That should cherer them up too 🙂
Whoops your comment made me laugh so much spelling and grammar slightly astray! But you get my meaning.
A dodgy VAR decision in our favour?
It’s finally dawned on the buggers at Stockley Park we’re a “Top Six” side!
Long may it continue.
When I saw the team sheet I checked on the Wolves website to find out who the hell Gomes was; but they didn’t even have a photo of him. Do we have to have a photo to keep him here?
Great team performance; great result!
Greetings Pack,
Top team effort to send the dirty Sinners backa South Coast with nowt but the best free kick.
2022 looking very good so far.
Missed the prediction league due to Cat v Computer issues. The cat won natch. Would’ve liked to see the odds on Conner and Traore scoring in the same game. I purchased a pair of white gloves pre-match, so confirmation of coincidence achieved.
Fabio now looks like a hyper wolf hound scenting pedigree chum. Bruno has put summit in his nosh, and I hope the supply of Bruno beans never runs out.
1 lv & COYW.
Yep Rasta. I think Fabio is starting to look the deal. Not blessed with great pace but he has that instinct. The way he took on the Saints defender. Drove forward and forced the save. Don’t forget the 4 goals hd scored last season in the struggling Nuno phase.
1 lv Cheese.
He looked bigger and stronger. The confidence of a winning team. That win at Traff for the HNY was a foundation. Sinners naturally bitter as they saw this game to push on themselves, yet it is we, The Wolves pushing on. A few good results in the next few games and weem right in it. But, as you know, it only takes a daft loss to hit the reset button. Keep fit, train hard, every game a final -focus, focus.
They say that an infinite number of monkeys given an infinite number of typewriters will eventually come to a correct VAR decision in our favour.
And so it has proved.
The assortment of monkeys in Stockley Park have certainly taken their time, but at last have come up with the goods.
They also say that luck will even itself out given time.
And it seems that it is starting to go our way.
Having said that, there’s a lot to make up for. So if it carries on evening itself out until we’re quits, we could end up winning the League and Cup Double.
Great to watch the game unfold yesterday.
Sa and Kilman were terrific and the rest of the lads backed them up superbly.
Silva is starting to look like a £35m forward, and Adama has discovered that you don’t have to burst the net, and the ball, to score a goal..
And I predicted the correct score!!!
Me too. Great minds think alike.
Not sure about the monkeys analogy DG. Monkeys are quite intelligent creatures.
Its time to mention Kenny Hibbitt at the Refs Monitoring Station.
He’s had a storming start to the New Year, Refs are tip-toeing round him, just like Citeh midfield back in ’74.
Wolves v Southampton always a big date as I grew up in the New Forest and my first chance to see Wolves live was at the Dell in the early 1970s when we won 2:1.
Listening to this evening’s 606 and the plight of Everton, it reinforces the changes that have propelled us forwards as a club, and, in particular the excellent people working on recruitment. No longer are we a retirement home for overpaid, over-the-hill players looking for a last pay day. Instead a sucession of young players, mostly purchased for a couple of million, hungry to succeed and now given the opportunity by a manger with a track record of bringing through young talent. Do I know anything about them before they are signed – no. Does that worry me – no. The development of young players in recent years has filled me with confidence that the majority of these young players will prove to be brilliant players.
We are also blessed with one of the finest captains in Premier history – Conor Coady is a true leader who brilliantly organises the inexperienced players stepping into the team. Such a brilliant moment to see him score at Molineux.
Good post HW.
I agree that it’s very refreshing to see so much talent coming through the ranks but one thing I do find frustrating is how little we get to see of these young hopefuls we have. In recent times the names of Gomes and Jordao (until now), Dashidov, Campana, Corbenau, Sanderson, Giles, Mathisson all spring immediatey to mind and there have been many more over the Fosun years. Loans are good for experience but until they are tried out at PL level we’ll never know will we. Hopefully it looks as if Bruno may have a more open mind on this approach than I think Nuno may have had as it would now be a good and cost effective way to boost the squad in terms of numbers. Bring them in and integrate them gradually.
And your point about last pay day mercenaries is very valid – a la Ronaldo, Coutinho et al. But then again in contrast look at Moutinho who is now an all time Wolves great. It’s good when it works.
On the whole though I have to agree that all round our recruitment has worked pretty well over the Fosun years, so let’s give some credit where due to Jeff Shi.
Corbeanou scored a cracker for MK Dons at the weekend and is rated highly by the Pundits on `Quest`.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iMZqdpRAyCM
Wow!
So that’s sorted then, we go back to 2 – 3 – 5 formation with a front line of
Chiquinho, Traore, Jimenez, Podence, Neto.
For the benefit of the retired North & South Bankers who now have to sit in the Steve Bull Upper but like to sing and shout , could someone please post the words to the Conor Coady song just in case he scores again.
Na we should play 1-3-6 formation with a front line of Chiquinho, Traore, Jimenez, Podence, Neto and Coady as a false no 9.
Should be able to give Adama a race! The talent is clearly there so let’s hope we can nurture it. He’s in good hands.
Well what a wonderful day. There are soooo many managers I do not like in this league (1 less after the Spanish Waiter got the nudge). Your Howes (cause he’s got a face even his mother dislikes), Smith’s (see Howes), Dyche (see previous two) in the long but not very distinguished list sits the Austrian prince who always has a face like a wet Sunday and always a moan when things don’t go his way. Conversely, we on the other hand have a very astute dare I straight talking honest kind of a chap who absolutely, with perhaps the exception of Adama (although after yesterday who knows) and the Donk, has brought all the team on from last seasons standards.
Sa is the best keeper I have seen in a Wolves shirt. He has the lot, brilliant shot stopper, brave and fearless, great puncher of the ball, so confident and accurate when coming for crosses and commanding his area with such assurance and the footwork…..if that had have been Rui trying a Cruyff turn on his 6 yard line it would have been a disaster but with Jose there is a calmness there that he seems to transmit from the back out. His distribution is excellent but it is also the speed he sets up attacking play that is best, he doesn’t do the laying on the ball Pickford Pause so the cameras can settle on him. He is up and at the edge of his box before the defence and opposition are out of it.
I have said it before if Southgate picks the likes of Donkey Maguire over Kilman then he will join the list of England managers that pick the name and not the ability of the player.
A great all round performance in what sounded like a great atmosphere as Captain Fantastic says “why shouldn’t the fans dream” and dream we will. Here’s to a great 2nd half to the season with a great FA Cup run thrown in. Really enjoying this season, onwards and upwards….UTW
Oh and a special mention to the debutant what a solid and confident performance and Bruno shows faith in the youngsters like I said all in all a wonderful day.
3 things that made me laugh: 1. Wolves won 2. Villa goalie error for man u first goal 3. Shit lost in the last min at QPR. God really smiled this week !
I didn’t predict the score for this one but I would have said 3-1. ,,,,,,,honest
Well if traore goes it won’t matter, this team is strong on technical ability and most importantly, team spirit.
If -when neves goes, it will hurt but again, we will continue, bring new players in and move forward.
Bruno is laying some serious’Ted Lasso ‘ shit in the dressing room and he hasn’t even tapped into his own player pool yet, this is all being done with nuno’s players.
Who knew that Bruno had a little toti on the side! He kept that quiet, I was very impressed.
Brentford are playing Man U and ourselves next and probably think they need to beat us cos all the pundits still think Man U are good, Wrong, they have more chance of picking up points from them than us, onwards and upwards lads , February is looking tasty as we play a few rivals in and around us , bring it on.
Come on you wolves
Underestimate us at your peril? Damn right Thomas! We started the season playing brilliant attacking football against three top teams, and yet had nothing to show for it. I for one never doubted Bruno. We ended the first half of the season playing brilliant attacking football against a top team and took all three points. Poetic justice. I hope this makes the Fosun/Bruno doubters see sense. We also started the second half of the season brilliantly on Saturday. I copped two nice bets, 13/10 the win and 17/4 with BTTS. And we’re active on the transfer front too. If we lose Traore, he’s just increased his value with that superb goal. I think he will still be here come the summer though.
In my opinion Europe is as likely as not for next season. Bruno is just getting into his stride. What price Nuno for Everton now?
I would disagree.
Spurms and Manure are definitely NOT top teams!
Saturday was an emotional roller coaster for me . I had probably one of the best pints of beer that I’ve ever had .. ( I won’t say where because its already very busy ) but it’s an ale called BFG and it’s been beautifully concocted by West Midlands brewery, which I think is in lower Gornal
Followed at half time …by possibly the worst f@@@ing pie I’ve ever experienced. It was sold as a steak pie and I’m not joking when I say it would have been suitable for a vegetarian because when I managed to bust it open there was nothing in it , just a brown tide mark . I turned it over and had a go at it from the back and couldn’t get through. What is the point in stopping people taking weapons into the ground and then arming them with these ?
Also , Wolves were good , hope its true that Adama will be a wolves player till the summer and then he’s of to Spain, so none of the usual Vampires can get him….Apart from our champions league games , we should be able to avoid playing against him ( not as he would get past Kilman though)
I think Adama is better than Jack Grealish .
That was a tremendous result against a side that looked the best side down the Molineux so far this season. Sure, they were hard and a little underhand at times but that goes with the territory. I could not have begrudged them a point but we are owed a few from our first three games at least.
I was interrupted and just wanted to say that in a great team display the performance which really blew my mind was that of Max Kilman. It was also great to see young Gomes perform so assuredly in his first Premiership game. Also, I have been arguing for patience to be shown with regard to Fabio Silva when others could only see the pound signs and demanded the finished article. With regard to him, I think it is still early days and avoidance of critical injuries remains important with the very young, in Premiership terms, players. Hopefully, he can maintain this progress but nothing in this game is a given, I think.
Likewise, Trincao has had trouble adapting and needs to build up his strength and coldness in front of goal; patience again is needed at present, I feel.
I’d also like to see Sanderson at some time but I think we can see why Gomes received the call.
Interesting- and realistic – comments from Paul Parker about Ruben and a transfer to ManUre – includes this passage
“The Red Devils sit seventh in the Premier League table, one place above Wolves, but that didn’t stop Parker thinking Neves has a better chance of qualifying for a European club competition with his current side due to the current misfortunes United face.
He added: “Wolves’ form at the moment is very good. Struggling to score goals, but they don’t give goals away. They’re better than Manchester United defensively.
“So he’s [Ruben Neves] mostly saying to himself, ‘hold a minute, I can get into Europe, maybe I’ll get into Europe with Wolves. We might be able to do that. Do I want to run away from that? And having to really fight, and having to prove myself at this moment in time with a bunch of players who I don’t think are good enough?’ “He’s got every right to think that way, because he was walking around them a-week-and-a-half ago, he was strolling around them a week, a-week-and-a-half ago.”

How friggin’ arrogant, and typical, that all the so called experts just assume that every player in the world is wetting their knickers to play for manure.
Don’t they realise that some have other priorities, other than sitting on the bench, watching cr7 , pogba et al poncing around, picking up obscene payments for doing sweet f. a.
Not everyone is chomping at the bit, dying to get to the theatre of wet dreams, unless it is to repeat our magnificent victory up there recently.
The more we perform as we are, the more we will attract top players.
And the more we attract top players, the more we can tell them to fuck off, we’ll stick with our “ unknowns”!!
Shefali, weather presenter on BBC Midlands News, has just announced there is a Wolf Moon tonight- I can hear the loosening of trouser belts all over Wolverhampton tonight. All aimed towards West Brom.
SO I’m braced for Adama’s imminent exit …and if so that’s the last Molineux will see of him this season…altho’ he may show up against us in a couple of weeks time.
I’m disappointed that he thinks the grass is greener elsewhere or maybe its to get a big chunk of change added to his wages? Who knows?.He did bugger my 2-1 prediction
( which included a Saints free kick for their goal…….my goodness that was only saveable if Sa had been standing next to the post) …but I digress.
Lots to look forward to even if he’s on his way
OODCL
I don’t think Adama is going anywhere in this window.
With or without Adama
The future looks very Golden….
Hats off to Bruno
For once, we seem to be ‘ahead of the game’ with our transfers; not doing everything in a panic at the last minute.
I think, and hope, that Traore will be available until the summer before being sold to his beloved Barcelona . . . . . . and good luck to him.
This will give Chiquinho space to settle and get in some game-time before shining next season.
I think Chiquinho’s comments on the reason he joined us are very promising (i.e. how happy the Portugese seem to be) and bodes well for the future. We might just be able to hang on to Neves, Neto, et al for a few more years.
Bruno seems to be building a bloody good team.
If we can get hold of a decent ‘goal scorer’ before the end of January, I’ll be very happy.
For now, I’m content that we’ve prepared well in advance for a future event.
So bloody disappointed. A bleeding winger? We need to get a striker in.
This stupid signing will only get us relegated just you watch.
Have you seen any of the clips of him playing?
He’s much more than a “bleeding winger”!
“This stupid signing will only get us relegated just you watch”?????
He hasn’t kicked a ball yet and he’s responsible for us getting relegated? Do you mean this season? Or next?
Not like you Brompton. Have you been hacked?
Agree 100%
What my good friend Broompto said.
Brompton is my friend too, but I can’t see how adding a quality player to the squad will get us relegated.
naughty ?
Time will tell..
As per the speaking clock lol
Sorry guys couldn’t resist. But not many of you bit. I was hoping to get more than 24 dislikes to beat my record.
Chiquinho looks handy from what I see and this signing makes me feel more relaxed and trusting of our club management.
Looking forward to seeing him play.
You are SO funny! Hilarious, even!!
I would have replied earlier but I’ve only just managed to compose myself from rolling on the floor laughing.
You certainly fooled me!

What with wanting Ruben… ait Nouri … Kilman … they may as well just come down the Wolves and watch all of em play .
Utw
They’re sending us an S -O – S,
gimme, gimme , gimme all your best players
hoping that we’ll take a chance to take all the money, money money.
Well they can get stuffed. Their Waterloo is coming
They don’t need to come to Wolves to watch all of them play mate.
We went to Old Trafford and they watched us play…. them off the park.
Just been watching the extended highlights of our last 3 games .
We’re so good at the moment… a little bit deep sometimes against Saints without Ruben but , blimey , absolutely brilliant going forward. After all these years. I can hardly believe it. I never thought we would be better after Nuno but we are
