With the night sky thick with smoke from the pyrotechnics, you’d have been forgiven for thinking the early minutes of this match were taking place at the San Siro.
Ruben Neves wouldn’t look out of place at any of Europe’s premier venues and as soon as his dreamy opener kissed the post on route to goal, everybody knew this contest was heading in one inevitable direction.
The Rossoneri can but dream of scoring a goal like Diogo Jota’s these days, with four of our best and brightest ping-ponging the ball around before ruthlessly dropping the axe.
After that, it was the familiar stranglehold to which we’ve grown accustomed.
Complacency was the only danger, but once their keeper was correctly dismissed for attempted decapitation the last quarter hour was spent in full warm down mode.
Benik Afobe got his run out in ideal circumstances and nearly scored too. Bonatini also looked sharp again as the bonus balls kept rolling out of the machine.
Nuno grinned like a cheshire cat from the touchline, the South Bank hit the high notes and everyone just had a jolly good time.
If the Blades managed a shot on target all night, I don’t remember it and despite enjoying some possession and territory, lets be honest, they never laid a glove on the league leaders.
Chris Wilder was magnanimous enough to admit as much in his post-match comments.
They deservedly came out on top in the reverse fixture, but I think this victory lays down yet another marker about just how much this team has evolved since those early months.
There’s more cohesion, better organisation and a total understanding of what it takes to win games in the Championship.
We’ve always had the quality but quality alone isn’t enough.
Meanwhile, the chasing pack are doing an admirable job of chasing, so there’s a hefty workload still to undertake.
But the message booming out of Molineux remains the same – catch us if you can.

Am I the only one starting to believe that Jota is made of Titanium (lighter than steel but just as strong). The kickings he’s had so far from some of the Championship’s great neanderthals, would have left most mere mortals with limbs hanging off at painful angles. Yesterday’s full-frontal assault by the United keeper was reminiscent of Cantona’s famous drop-kick on a Palace fan. As usual, Jota stayed on the deck for a couple of minutes, stood up, dusted himself down, and started all over again. He must p*** off defenders mightily, that whatever they do, he just gets up and taunts them some more.
And the game wasn’t too bad either……
Oooooh, Oooooh, Oooooh!!
I have no words to describe what I saw yesterday.
If ever there was a clear indication if how good we have become, it was yesterdauy in the 4 minutes added time at the end of the game.
A free kichk was awarded to Sheffield, their midfielder picked the ball up, walked a good 10 paces forwards from the place of the free kick and put his hand behind his back and dropped the ball. Their goalie had to walk that extra 10 paces to pick it up and walk back to spot it and then even he passed it sidewards.
The fact that they were wasting time in the 4 added minutes told me, they had had enough and just wanted to leave the field of slaughter only 3-0 down, we had run them into the turf, dazzled them to the point of footy blindness and performed a lesson in football that in my 56 years at the Molineux I have never seen the likes of. Yes, we have shoved 7 past Cardiff one Wednesday night in 19 oatcake but there is no comparison to the classy footy we are witnessing this season.
High five to Chris Wilder, a true sport in every sense of the word, ( to be fair he would have looked like Pep The square ball Guadlehareier if he’d tried to blag it) such was our dominance.
Neves, is different gravy, (when Douglas came out with that quote, I thought WTF is that all about) yesterday I found out, I love this Wolves team in 2nd gear, I love Neves in any gear. (Easy Clive, blood pressure)
On to QPR.
Shame I did not manage to catch up with you yesterday. See you at Preston though.
oh what to write I don’t even know where to begin… so deliriously happy even a stonking great hangover can’t dull the smile… Such a dominant display that Santo even had the luxury of offering all his favourite children a turn on the swings
Another absolute beauty from Neves to add to his greatest hits – but lets face it his album is all number ones.. all that was left was for Ruben Hood and his band of merry men to enjoy the afternoon dancing around the enemy and hitting the target for fun!
Jota is unplayable, Cavaleiro at his silky best, Costa returning to form and BENIK AFOBE’S BACK HOME !
Watched the match – fantastic, you run out of words to describe what it is like to be a wolves supporter.
See on wiki that big wily has a 45 mill euro buyout clause from porto, so that’s where some of our promotion funds should be invested.
There’s many talking points, but all you can say is that was bloody stupendous.
Every player was on their game. What a great experience this season is.
Bliss was in this dawn to be alive & to be a Wolves fan is a very heaven. Well let’s hope we all end up in paradise when the last ball is kicked. Or indeed the last time Jota has to get up off the pitch after the latest attempt to stop him!
Wonderful, wonderful Wolves!
I got home at midnight, but who cares. I was loving the drive as I remembered the sublime finishing of Neves and our close ball control in their box, and the way we just dominated the game from start to finish. I am chuffed I made the late call to come down. Great scoff in Neros meeting up with Twixfix, Lilian, BOG and all his mates, names of which I can’t remember, pre match and theDOOGooder and Sue for a post match coffee.
Did not manage to find time to get to the NBB, so missed a few of you no doubt.
Preston next for me.
It’s back!!
Liquid football!
A wonderous performance, watched by every other team in the land, to send them to bed quaking in their boots.
There has got to be some players out there who we can buy to improve our team next season, but who?
That was an utter masterclass in creaming the opposition, who, let’s face it, are having a pretty good season themselves.
We were in Nick’s Place, ( just off Westheimer and Gessner for anyone in Houston who wants to join us on the 24th ) and the booze and banter flowed freely.
Yes, I was always a Stearman fan, but that was BN ( before Nuno) and how we have moved on in 12 months.
Sheer brilliance.
Roget has got to come out with a new Thesaurus with words to describe the magic of that game.
Like Moorhinihoe at Old Trafford sez, they are all playing to win second place……as they are in the Chumpionship.
Question:
What does WBA stand for?
We’re bottom again!!!
FOWB
See you at Sunderland Clive. I will be the one holding this sign
Wolves are enough to scare the opposition, you don’t need to wheel Clive out as well that’s just unfair
Houston Wolves go marching in!
A fine body of men!
Unfortunately they’re all out of camera shot.
Re-posting the Worlds latest Wolves Supporters group.

Brilliant mate. We am Wolves ay we.
And for those of you with really sharp eyes, you will notice that one of the guys is holding up a Wolves Speedway scarf.
My missus just suggested Wankers Blame Alcohol
Everyone will rightly rave about the display from Cav, Jota and the imperious Ruben Neves but, having watched the match again this morning, I have got to mention the outstanding performance of Alfred N’Diaye. He covered every blade of grass, had a 98% successful pass rate and his efforts created the space that allowed Neves to shine – how has this guy been out of the side for so long???
What a performance – what a team.
My grandson just grins from ear to ear every game — Priceless!!!
OODCL
Absolutely right. What an engine Alfred has: he is like a juggernaut, with his endless surging runs. Yet, unlike many others with great engines, he is not just a runner. He can actually really play. Tackles like a terrier, great positional play and vision, and rarely misplaces a pass. What a great foil for Neves in the center of the park.
Earlier this season I commented upon the massive improvement in the form of Saiss since Nuno arrived on the scene. That may be the case, but on yesterday`s form Alfred is big step up. He will be very hard to dislodge.
Had a job sleeping last night, such was the euphoria and adrenaline after watching that awesome performance. It wasn’t just those first two superb goals, as amazing as they were. It was Cav skinning the defender down by the touchline with a flick of his foot. There was Costa leaving defenders in his wake time and again and seemingly so effortlessly.
I watched it in the pub with the regular local fan club. We weren’t just cheering. We were oooing, aahhing, and sometimes just gasping at the skills and audacity of our beloved team. What a show. What a performance. What a way to spend a Saturday evening.
Can’t say any more. Nothing left to say, except I’ve a ticket for QPR next week, and do you know what? I’m counting the seconds.
COYW
Enjoy the QPR game mate. I only decided to go yesterday on Friday night – bloody good decision. Awesome match. I am at Preston on 17th so wont be there next Saturday. Enjoy.
If it’s even half as good as what we’ve just witnessed, it’ll be worth every mile.
The mood music around Wolves was summed up by my train journey home. Jubilant Wolves fans on the train to Brum noisily but not unpleasantly advising Villa supporters to “mind the gap”. Well I didn’t find it unpleasant but there were some scowls to be seen.
On the Stratford train I was offered a tinny by partying Wolves supporters.
So back home and watched the game again. A perfect day, perhaps my best ever supporting Wolves.
I must look out my copy of Slessors Selection of Superlatives before I can comment on the experience of watching last night’s display. The best thing for me is that I no longer have to look back to the 1950s for a truly great Wolves team. After 60+ years of supporting the team I have to say that I’ve never seen anything approaching this season. Apart from individual brilliance the sheer confidence in possession or in a bout of close passing tells its own story. And how does Helda Costa do that thing where he makes it look as thouh several frames have been edited out of the video … surrounded by opponents with seemingly no way through you suddenly find him in the clear on the other side of them – sheer magic.
Thanks Fosun, Nuno, The Players, I’m enjoying the ride.
If l could have 3 wishes is that they repeat this performance against villa ,derby most of all Cardiff.
Just to show that we are Champions coz we’re the best. What a sublime pass by Coady, for a goal.I can see a great link up forming between Doherty and Afobe who has already made an impact.Great to see an ex player return and score for us as well.Happy days Holloway next.
He didn’t score. He nearly did though.
What are the lyrics to the song sung to the tune of Sloop John B.?
They just overwhelmed Shef U.
One of the fans said if we took this team up to the Premier League, we would probably finish around 15th. I was thinking “What?”.
Maybe they meant 15th from the bottom?
Nuno had a dream.
To build a football team.
Chinese owners, a wonderkid from Porto.
Three at the back.
Pace in attack.
We’re Wolverhampton, we’re on our way back.
Doo doo doop, doo doo doop
We’re more likely to position ourselves among the top 8 best teams, I’d say.
There is only one position to aim for, and occupy, at the end of next season……………..
First.
Probably for the first time this season I correctly predicted the scoreline on this blog, shame I could not do the same with my Saturday lottery tickets.
However the display of the lads in gold and black was a far more pleasing prize, and at half time on sky tv, Matt Murray was saying the goals were champions league class, and who could argue with that.
Of course there is one complete twa* in south wales who said that there was no outstanding team in the championship this year. Really!?! So can we repeat that performance next Saturday, well its all about winning, so I`m sure Nuno will prepare the lads for that game as brilliantly as he did for this one. A similar performance would be a bonus.
I also see some commentaries said that Sheff Utd dominated parts of and were never out of the game. Well that’s only because WWFC sit back deliberately to hit teams on the break with our speedy front three being fed by Neves, Exactly how many clean sheets this season chaps!!
fans can start singing to the tune of The Happy Wanderer in the stalls.
Briefly the chasing trio made up points on us but then Wolves came took the stage and eased away again. That was performance of sheer class, against a very determined Blades team, that left me drooling.
So looking forward to QPR on Saturday!
I seethat the Vile fans were mouthing off again after scraping past the mighty Burton Albion. They are coming for us apparently. The only coming they will do is in their pants when they see our champagne football!
The quality of individuals is enormous. There is not a single weakness. But why we are so good is that Nuno has blended this quality into a real TEAM. We play together as one — the perfect unit. Every member of this side is absolutely confident in his own ability and that of his team mates. Every member understands his own role and just how it dove tails with that of the others. And that is why we have become almost unplayable. Absolutely magnificent.
Than you Nuno.
Bloody hell, football was made for nights like that. Fireworks that made it seem like a champions league match followed by football that belongs on a Wednesday night at the nou camp.
Sat in the United end and even there fans were purring at the display of football from wolves. We made a good championship side look awful. Our game control is sublime to watch. Boly and N’Diaye look unbeatable. Neves is just out of the world and as for the front three!
No matter what happens over the next couple of years I’ll be drooling over this game for a long time!
Absolutely brilliant display, I could not believe I was watching Wolves.
How you describe the footy being served to us at the moment. Only one way absolute filth.
Long may it continue
This performance brought to mind Tony Waddington’s quote about football being the working-man’s ballet. Certainly some of the footwork of (particularly) Costa and Cavaleiro would have left Rudolf Nureyev embarrassed. And overall, for those of you dreaming of European football in a couple of years time, a 3-2 win on aggregate against South Yorkshire’s finest – and lets be honest they weren’t bad, (but a long way off where we are currently).
Do you not mean 4-2.
I will remember this game for some time.
I believe we lost 2-0 up there…?
Oh ok I thought it was 2-1………. never mind we won this one big time.
What was that all about?
Coady misplaced a pass and Ruddy had to have two goes at catching a cross.
Bloody useless!
Apart from that, wasn’t it just the most sublime 94 minutes of football that you have ever seen?
I watched both the Leeds and Bolton hammerings but the first half in particular knocked both of those into a cocked hat.
Every man jack of the players, fans, coaches, managers, owners, tea ladies (can you have a man jack of ladies?, Oh sod it, who cares!) deserve huge pats on the back for providing one of the best evening’s entertainment that I can remember (without involving extra marital aids, of course).
To pick anybody out would be totally unfair so I won’t even try.
Total football from a group of players totally together and totally in control.
Sheffield didn’t look a bad side, well organised and ready to play football. But…. well, we just steamrollered the shit out of them.
In the end they were lucky to end up with nil.
By the way, is anybody else finding it almost impossible to access and then post on this site now?
It’s taken me over 20 minutes and still trying!
Yep ..ditto..we have a problem Houston
Doogle
I had the same problem late last week.
I e mailed Sir Lord Thomas, who told me there was a problem.
He did say what it was, but I tuned out then, being uncomputerish.
If Thomas needs some wonga to help keep this brilliant blog going, I’m all in.
Anyone else?
Great performance Saturday, even better than when we beat Villa live on Sky…COYW.
Mildenall, can’t you find a picture of a wolf without cross eye’s? Better stick to those lovely ladies.
Just gobsmacked again. Nothing to add to all the previous comments except to say N’Diaye has turned into an awesome player since the start of the season. Bloody brilliant display of precision passing and total ball control.
I woke up with that excitable Sunday feeling ..and I don’t mean in the biblical sense ..but with Neves goal in my mind..
What must that guy be worth ?
After 2 -0 it was not worth worriying about ..
Just like someone catching us for the title..
I have said before we are a bit like Leicester’s run into the PL (look what they did) the momentum and confidence just oozes out of the team ..
Afobe must have thought shit.. what have I joined here..
The life changing experience goes on…and how the hell did we loose to Forest..?
COYW
Step back in time to the 23rd of April 2016, I had just left Molineux after the bore draw against Rotherham, one of the worst games I have ever witnessed (Although the Wigan 0-0 not that long ago came close) only to be accosted by Nathan Judah. I have just watched it again and I actually said on camera that week in, week out we travel from Notts and watch rubbish, we were that bad at the time. (If anyone has seen the video, do I really look and sound like Leonard Rossiter because Sue says I did !) I actually felt at the time that it was time to walk away from Wolves and spend our money on something more worthwhile. Fast forward to yesterday, just 21 months later and WOW. I predicted on the previous post a Wolves masterclass under the floodlights, in front of a capacity crowd and in front of the watching millions on Sky. I even got the 3-0 score right. This has to be one of the best Wolves teams ever, and I have seen a few. People look back and remember the Wolves greats from the past and in years to come some of these lads will rightly claim a place in our hall of fame. Can’t wait until QPR next Saturday and especially as the boys now stay in The Novotel the night before and will still be there when we arrive. Might join Nuno outside for a fag – even though I don’t smoke. Loving being a Wolves fan at the minute – and by the way, Manchester City – we’re coming for you.
I didn’t get where I am today by sounding like Leonard Rossiter. Neither did Miss Jones.
Newark,
In 21 months I agree but really we were still shite only 11 months ago.
Let me take you back to the same opponents Rotherham 11/03/17 – less than 11 months ago – we won 1:0 & it felt like a loss as we were absolutely fekin useless, lucky to win, Rotherham we’re bottom of the champ & we looked like we could also go down.
What has happened in the last 9 months since Nuno joined is nothing short of a revelation.
In Fosun, Jeff, Mendes, Nuno, backroom, team & 12th man we trust.
Well that WAS just sheer class…a masterclass in how to control a game of football. Meticulous footwork to keep possession in tight situations was brilliant. I am in Madeira and watched the game live on TV. Sat next to a Blades fan who was gobsmacked and sat there literally open-mouthed as his team was taken apart.I just let the football do all the talking…..sublime.
I’ve said it before. Wolves are a Premier League quality team playing in the Championship due to last year’s team.
Any players on Sheff United wanting to know what it is like to play in the Premier League just found out yesterday.
Had to watch on tv due to family commitments. My youngest son, a Gooner, sat down to watch it with me and almost immediately we scored that fabulous second goal.
“Flipping heck Dad! That was like Man City. Or Arsenal a few years ago.”.
Says it all.
OODCL
I told a Liverpool fan that next season, we are going to mount an assault on the top 4 of the Premier League.
He laughed.
I wonder how far off that dream is.
Tim,
There wasn’t many of them laughing at Anfield last year when the final whistle blew and that was just our BN team ( before Nuno team) anyone disagree that Costa played as well on Saturday as he did at Anfield?
Stu,
I’ve said over the previous 2 months hes been getting better and better.
Saturday he was brilliant!
I remember a post when we beat the Vile and someone said that there were 3 statues at the Mol on that day – Billy, Stan and John Terry! On Saturday, even if Virgin Van Dick had been playing he too would have been a statue.
I’ve been lyrically waxing since approx 6.15pm on Sat…. COMB
Never witnessed such a complete performance from a Wolves side in all my years of suffering some right shit. Just so comfortable and purring just like my Peugeot 107.The second goal was Barcelona esp. They couldn’t get near us. I even chucked an extra piece of bread up the garden for Brian Clough the Pigeon such was my happy demeanor. Sublime. PROMOTION PARTY UPDATE.. On current PPG game 40 Hull at home would see us on 91 points. Currently 3rd place Villa with would be on 75 points . with six games left they could still get to 93 points. By game 41 Wolves 93 points. Villa 77. With 5 games left they could only get to 92 points. Cardiff away is now the day we go up on 7.4.2018.
Cheesey you must have read my earlier Enigma machine findings after I snuck into Bletchley Park where I confirmed the code breaking machine’s results last night as follows:
Promoted 7 April at Cardiff
Champions 10 April home to Derby
108 points – a new record
Finish 17 points ahead of 2nd place
Finish 23 points ahead of 3rd place
R woe be far away I reckon mate. Cardiff away son. Wolves ay we!
Cardiff away then!
Let’s get the Sharrabangs ready!
It would be fitting to get promotion there as the last good time I had in Cardiff was in the millennium stadium & this time Colin Wanker can have the same scrotum like face as he had on that day!
Proper, proper fekin Wolves Ay We
I will never forget that day, we just blitzed Warnocks lot, they didn’t know what hit them.
Warnock’s comments after getting hammered have stuck with me ever since I cannot stand the man if there is on person in football I would wish Boly to punch and get sent off it’s Neil.
So yes I would love to guarantee promotion by stuffing Cardiff and taking the applause of the travelling pack as they trudge off dejected.
Funny I have a feeling Cardiff and Villa will play in the play off semi finals. Villa get stuffed. Cardiff play Bristol City in the final and the lucky reds romp home 5-1 (keeping Clive happy) and Neil moans about the pitch and the Ref and what a wonderful job he’s done, and gets sacked during his interview live on TV.
That would be perfect.
Should buy some Fosun stocks if it is easy to do. Then you guys can be thanking me, as a part owner.
Just watched Liverpool v Spurs. If Liverpool had a manager like Nuno they would have known how to control a game and hold a lead. Sometimes you just have to put your foot on the ball and then pass around like Wolves do.
I also watched above game. All I could think off was Wolves playing against this calibre of opposition week in and week out in the Premier next season and seeing just how good we really are. I personally think we would not look out of place.
My only concern will be whether Nuno will be able to control himself when faced with the shameful diving and cheating by the likes of Dele Alli, Lamela and Harry Kane – England’s captain!
I took some video footage of the game yesterday and actually managed to catch two of the goals.
If you fancy watching them from a Steve Bull’s eye view you can watch them here.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HhgM-7WwwmI
Great Doog,
Good to see you and Sue.
Rob Jill.
Good to meet you both as well.
Maybe next time we’ll do it over a beer.
Mark & Sue.
And I thought Kubrick was dead!
I’m Not gonna go on too much here cos I ran out of superlatives a few weeks ago and frankly, if I start waxing lyrical over that performance there’ll be no room left for the rest of you to pay homage to Nuno and his band of young warriors.
I’m seriously thinking about having a few bob on us next year. Aside from Citeh, I see no team to fear in England.
Amazing display from the lads.
UTW
Brilliant, wonderful, spectacular & pure class. Says it all!
Now really looking forward to QPR next week & cheering my heart out.
We are Wolves!
Don’t know about you guys but l really find it emotional when Neves goal went in tears were falling the guy sitting next to us in the Steve Bull was the same, it was the same walking thru the subway into the town the noise the songs bloody brilliant.
What a season!!!!
Anyone interested in the 12th man syndrome, take a look on the Wolves website at home tickets.
Try and buy one for QPR, for Dogs sake QPR, not Liverpool, not Chelski or Utd.
Sorry “SOLD OUT”
I’m loving it.
Add to that, 5600 going up to Preston the week after and no wonder Nuno is talking about our 12th man as much as I do.
Only 12 Months ago we were enjoying 18000 crowds and 14000 for mid week matches.
Yes but you and I were there, gluttons for punishment we were.
Now we are gluttonous for ecstasy. ( not the tablet)!
Don’t know Ken, might need some of the Ecstacy stuff if this keeps up.
Bloody closest I get to that nowadays is Ducolax, now that stuff reminds you of what life’s really about.
One time I almost went into shock with the heightened chemically enduced experience of it all, the DT’s have got nothing on that stuff. 🙂
I watched n the TV.
We are a team.
Remember watching Dougan, Knowles, Bully etc and the team was all about individuals.
Under Nuno we have become a unit.
Yesterday, to me, Bennett was our best player.
He completely controlled their attack by doing the unnoticeable, tackling, ushering them to the byline and giving Boly & Coady the Space to make those fantastic passes.
Also what potential that Morgan White has…
Like others think we could do well in the Premier league……
I got home last night (eventually) and watched the game again this time in the comfort of my chair & with yet another beer! Then I replayed those goals again & again & again. We are currently absolutely fekin brilliant.
Then I watched what Football on 5 had to say – which was well worth a watch if only for just one comment off Micky Gray – when asked about The Wolves he started to wax lyrical (just like us lot) but then was asked about That 1st Goal – quote “he (the Sheffield keeper) should have just stood still, watched the ball go in & then applauded Neves” how very apt?
Also Nuno resently showed his passion against Brizzle with the late goal, but he said more with That Smile yesterday which was the cherry on top of the cake for me – in fact – I reckon we could have just posted That picture at the start of this latest blog and the remainder of any words would have been redundant. I do think most of us are in love with him ( metaphorically of course)
We’re coming for you.
We’re coming for you.
Manchester Citie
We’re coming for you.
PS well done Sandwell Town – Bet365 also think your down according to my pre-season acca WWFC Champions & Albion to be relagated – at 118:1 – with that the great unwashed will pay for next years Home & Away season ticket fekin Wolves Ay We
It’s all been said above so just an observation from me , in recent years it felt like ‘those were the days my friend ‘ was sung every 5 minuets, almost like a, hanging onto the past kind of way ( for me that was the seventies with, hibbit Daley Richards grey etc) now it’s a few times throughout the game, being replaced with great up beat , happy , new wolves stuff, I even think the football is better than I can remember from those days too , there , I’ve said it.
Also , well done sufc , they had a go , didn’t really park the bus or set out to kick us off the part, which made for a good game, particularly after I warmed up by watching Cardiff and Leeds , I hope wilder and his team have a successful remainder of the season tbh
Utw
I agree regarding The Blades Marney. I expected them to ‘ave a go, and credit to ’em, they did. For that reason alone, they deserve a successful season. I fear we’ll not see it too often at the Mol’ in the remaining games.
Best description of this team Play Station football!!!
Just to throw something out there for discussion…..
As good as Neves’s goal was, (and it was Feckin good).
Anyone think Conor Coady (Coady FFS) deserves a mention for his unbelievable pass to Cav to lay the ball to Neves.
Oh how Nuno has developed these guys that Lame bert and Joke itt stifled out of sight.
It’s hard to single out the “Old Wolves” players from the “New Wolves” players as they are all as damned good as one another at their jobs. Cost doesn’t into it. Nuno has signed some players for little or nothing. Coady’s sumptuous pass was straight out of Steven Gerrard’s locker.
Stu,
Last year – Coady was just Coady and was really just Right Back behind the goal or Left Back in the changing rooms!
This year – Coady well he really is Coady the seasoned centre-half that has found an old pair of Paul Cook’s boots in a clean up at the Mol and is truly superb!
Connor, I for one need to offer an apology for not seeing what Nuno could and I reckon most of the faithful are with me on this one.
Well done young Connor of the Coady and Nuno for spotting the talent we already had!
Hey stu , yes Coady s pass was amazing and he did it a few times, don’t know if you got the same commentary as me but it was all complementary until he said something like “ great by Coady again, he obviously remembers a bit from his coaching at Liverpool academy “
Feck off , this is all Nuno imo
Yup, Nuno has reinvented Coady, made him a completely different and vastly improved player. No doubt in my mind that Coady will make a formidable PL captain for Wolves, he’s a natural leader on and off the pitch. I can’t remember, is he qualified to play for England? I image from his name that he has the necessary ancestry to also play for one of the Ireland teams.
How about an occasional theme song at Molyneux, Leader of the Pack?
Here’s some of the lyrics:
I met him at the candy store
He turned around and smiled at me
You get the picture?
-Yes, we see
That’s when I fell for the Leader of the Pack
Cop a load of this guys and guys.
Like you I’m loving this footy, but the adulation and credits about my beloved Wolves are amazing to read & a joy to behold.
Take a look at this one, and you know what, I really don’t think it’s over the top in any shape or form.
Well deserved methinks.
https://www.expressandstar.com/sport/football/wolverhampton-wanderers-fc/2018/02/05/comment-wolves-are-too-good-for-the-championship/
Brilliant. About time we got recognition like that. But, then again how could anything else be said. We Am Wolves Ay We.
West Brom aren’t…
Well done Dim Tim
Just how good can Wolves become?
That was the question posed to be at Robinsons Pool in Bedford yesterday as I was eulogising about the demolition of Sheffield United and frankly still on cloud 209 after witnessing two of the finest (and completely different) goals it has been my privilege to behold.
On Sunday morning I was up at 5.45 with the adrenaline still coursing through the vein, to book the tickets for Preston as I finally had the numbers who wanted to go to the game from Bedford.
Anyway the question was from a Tottenham Hotspur supporter who had seen the goals on Channel 5 and it set me thinking about the great teams in my memory bank from the past – herewith just a few examples…
Tottenham Hotspur in the 60’s – the first team to win the double since Victorian days and a joy to behold – dad liked Bill Nicholson and I saw them 3 consecutive seasons at Molineux in 1961/62/63/64. They were a gem of a team wrapped in silver paper and took over the mantle from the wonderful Wolves’ team of the 1950’s.
Liverpool – mid to late 60’s, 70’s and 80’s – at times they were virtually unbeatable. As live football became far more common we had the opportunity to see Liverpool in some of those unforgettable European games. Sensational at times on the field, the managerial products of the Anfield Boot Room – Shankly, Paisley and Fagan – created an institution.
Manchester United – the second crop of Busby Babes in the 60’s and the “class of 92” plus Cantana had the lot. Exceptional entertainers from both era’s, whether Law, Charlton, Best et al or Beckham, Scholes, Giggs, Cantana et al. Despite being universally despised “Fergie’s Fledglings” were the real deal.
Arsenal – team that gained promotion to the top flight in 1919 and have never been relegated. In my lifetime they had two very good teams. The first under Bertie Mee in the late 60’s/early 70’s (in 1971 Arsenal won the double) and of course with Arsene Wenger who won 7 FA cups and three league championships and I suppose George Graham’s outfit gets a mention as well.
The best international team – Brazil 1970 without a shadow of a doubt
Wolves 17/18?
Well in my humble opinion this team with Nuno at the helm supported by Fosun has the potential to smash all of the above into oblivion. No hyperbole – no exaggeration – just plain and simple logic. They really do play some wonderful stuff and bloggers – I think it’s going to get even better!
From start to finish Saturday was the nuts. We had a new Bedford “recruit” (Tom – a South Bank season ticket holder from a nearby village who travelled up with us and added to the gaiety) and his buddy Ash from Slough, twelve dined in the Italian and it was great to meet up with Brompton and Mr and Mrs Twix along with the usual suspects. Thanks for coming along. This week before the QPR fixture we are dining in the Thai restaurant at 1.00. Hope you can all come along!
Have a wonderful week taking immense piss out of the shit fans Bloggers and start putting a few shillings by for the plane to Munich or Barcelona or Milan or Paris in two seasons from now!
BOG
Yeah, but they’re playing against a bunch of Englishmen so it doesn’t really count.
Where is the Thai BOG am coming to the game with Borderwolf and her old man we might be able to get there
Hi Tipton
The restaurant is on Darlington Street virtually on the crossroads with Waterloo Road and right next door to Nero and Rosso Italian restaurant.
From Queens Square walk down Darlington Street past Beatties and the Made In Thai restaurant is on the left hand side immediately before the traffic lights where Darlington Street meets Waterloo Road.
Alternatively from Molineux walk along Waterloo Road over the ring Road to the next set of traffic lights and the Thai is on the opposite side of the road.
Be great if you can make it.
My mobile is 07792-260228
Cheers
BOG
Hopefully, the league will get it and start protecting these players and encouraging this kind of play to grow the league and the
TV revenue.
Hopefully, we’ll be gone so it won’t be an issue for us.
You’ve all said it all.
Boooooooooooooooooooooooooooooom.
In Nuno we trust.Booooooooooooooooom.
Have you heard about the new Aston Villa bra? Lots of support but no cups…
What does AV stand for.
Always a Vigin (nobody fancies them)
No, but my wife has an American bra (obviously)
One Yank and its off.
I was taught in teaching, as with selling. (Which is really teaching)
1st. You create an interest.
2nd. Then you create a desire.
3rd. Then you create a need.
To take the Wolves worship one step further, not only have Fosun given us a new Wolves but they have been so successful in just 18 Months that they are even surprised themselves. To such an extent that they are using the Wolves Model as an example to promote their business further, this in turn raises money for Fosun which raises money for Wolves. Wolves become even more successful with more investment and Fosun get more money through sales, Advertising, Global image and PR.
We just cannot lose.
Below is a picture of a recent conference presentation by Fosun to over 1000 Major players in World finance, where they used the way the Bristol City Vs Wolves game developed as a model to explain successful business.
Devilishly clever those Chinese chappies,
Boys and Girls I give you, Fosun, the group that are taking us to new levels of entertainment, excitement and things beyond our imagination right at this point in our lives. As they unfold we will be pulled along as willing participants in the greatest ride of our lives. Hold on, it get’s even more exciting from here.
OMG
Now get Jeff to start marketing Wolves stuff over here, it will sell like hot cakes, especially when we start to take the Prem by storm next season!!
Too bad the replica jerseys have THAT sponsor on them.
Hopefully very soon WWFC can announce a new respectable shirt sponsorship deal with another Fosun owned brand?
Maybe Thomas Cook!
Then they’ll need to order double the quantity as they will “fly” out the door…
Sorry pun intended ?
Club Med or that Chinese beer.
Well bugga me.
I spotted that this morning and now Birmingham mail have picked up on it too. Here’s the full story.

Hi Stu,
That is bang on they are so clever Fosun, when was the last time the club shop sold out of replica shirts at this stage of the season as l was told on Sunday morning before our journey home, no more coming in either until the launch of our new kit in June.
FOSUN. Best thing ever happened. Jeff Shi always willing to be amongst the fans. Always happy to be In a selfish. Even bought a round of drinks for fans in a London pub.Imaginative ticket promotions. Free coaches for fans. Open and up front with us. Absolutely first class. Jeff Shi I salute you.
Bollocks said selfish. Meant selfie.

La, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la
I think I must have been mixing with too many locals as subconsciously I have become beset with the Black Country ‘glass half empty’ mentality. Last night I had a terrible but very vivid dream where we were in the play-offs bizarrely against Port Vale! We’d drawn 1-1 at their place so just had the formality of beating them at Molineux. Trouble is we were losing 1-2. Still it’d be ok as there were 20 minutes to go. Then 10 minutes. Then 5. Still it was 1-2. Then stoppage time. Then it was all over and we’d lost. How? How could we have thrown it all away? We’d be stuck in the Championship for another season. All those crappy grounds we have to go to and thought we’d never have to go to again – well now we’d be going to them next season. All our top players would leave now as they wouldn’t want another year of Oakwell and Loftus Road when they could be playing at The Emirates and Old Trafford. Oh no! All that talk of being promoted, being champions – what happened? People would tear us apart now and be laughing at us for years. I woke up in a right old mood. Miserable as hell. Then after a few minutes of thinking about it I realised it was just a rubbish dream and not real. The relief was immense!
And yes, I AM a silly old bugger!
OODCL
No, you are not a silly old bugger Bedders. I’m finding it really difficult to keep to the one game at a time mantra but that is the way it must be until Wolves get over the finishing line.
I don’t know if this reporter has insider info or not, but my Dog, take a look at these two, people were going on about James Maddison in the last Window, but putting him aside, take a look at Bruno Fernandes. If we got hold of him alongside Neves, big Alf or Siasse, OMG.
His goals are absolutely top drawer Neves.
Take a look, there are some feckin screamers in there. I’m going to start lobbying Nuno now, to go and get him in the Summer please.

I was drinking with a Liverpool fan in a Portuguese bar last night and he was talking about the wolves display against Sheffield United and he said ( and I agree ) that a champions league place should be given to the winners of the championship.
Good idea that don’t you think! Hi
Lisbon Wolves loyal, give us Fernandes from Sporting and we would be unplayable and would be just right for Europe. Do you live in Portugal?
Haha, I think you will find a marked similarity between Lisbon Wolves Loyal and our own dear London Wolves Loyal! 😉
‘‘Tis me stu … London wolves loyal , just doing some investergative work over here in Portugal to try and find out why they’re so good at footy .
Brilliant,
Did me like a kipper. 🙂 🙂 🙂
The clue was in the picture!!!!
Or was it?
Or was it the way he wrote?
Or was it two thirds of his handle?

Breaker 1 four for a copy ?
Brompton,
Handle! I haven’t heard that since the 80’s
Breaker 1 four for a copy ?
Following the subsidence of the euphoria related to Saturday nights wonderful victory I went back to the recording of the game courtesy of the Sky recording last night ……even though complimentary of his teams performance and Cheshire cat grin I’m not sure if others get the felling that Nuno seems to reiterate the same comment that the team can still improve ….and after watching the game with the knowledge of the result ….the man is spot on
The goals were superbly taken and reinforced the quality and class of the scorers however without wishing to seem to knit pick for a couple of periods in both halves we did not pass the ball as effectively as we can and play broke down quickly as a consequence
Still with my own huge grin on my face, I came to the conclusion that some team is going to get more than a 3-0 drubbing….well and truly smashed TBH….if the level of interplay between the back 3, midfield and front line is replicated through out a game the way the 2nd goal was taken

Not bad for a non season ticket holder. A lot to do with the Ticketmaster though. Thanks Stu for ensuring I got to the games mate.
Pathetic!!!
I’ve watched more than that and I’m ten million miles away!
Sitting in front of a computer does count, doesn’t it???
I assume you have checked out the Sunderland hotel we are staying in before the last match, for bar and restaurant suitability?
If not, get up there toot sweet, young man, and do a recce!!
Yes Sir, straight away Sir. I will report back once recce is complete Sir.
As for watching matches on TV. It matters not where you are or how you support the team, you do not have to attend loads of matches to be a loyal fan mate. You are certainly a loyal fan, and I respect you coming over each season.
See you in May my friend. I have booked my room in the hotel.
And the Karbon Grill restaurant, even though eating is cheating.
I am off for a skive and conducting a recce as directed. In the meantime, please find details on this link. I have also posted a photo of the bar.

And one of the Karbon Grill Restaurant, even though “eating is cheating”
Call yourself a Wolves fan? Part-timer!
😉
pmsl. All my home games are away games mate. Not attending as much as you though. Are you coming up to Preston? I am going down for that one and can catch up then mate.
Every game is an away game for us – if only we still played Luton, Milton Keynes, Cambridge and the like. Oh no, hang on – thank goodness we DON’T still play those teams!
Preston no – am going to Fulham away on 24 February though complete with a Thames boat trip organised by London Wolves Supporters Club leaving at 1pm and arriving at 4pm. Boat has a bar and a DJ, oh and 240 Wolves fans apparently including London Wolves Loyal (Matt) and Mrs LWL so should be quite an entertaining day out!
Are you at Molineux this Saturday?
Do you not read my posts? I ask as you would not have asked that question.

Am off for a skive now as I have a recce to conduct.
Shrewd, I too believe we will hammer somebody soon, in fact I think we will be 4 or 5 up by half time before the end of the season,
Also an utterly useless bit of information, I’ve just realised I share a birthday with th one and only late great, sir Billy Wright, jus sayin loic !!
Oh and very impressive mr brompton wolf ,
Keep up the good work!
A couple of interesting snippets came to my attention over the last few days, which may have a bearing on the constant questions we get from other fans about FFP.
Snippet 1: We actually made a healthy profit last year, despite our player sales and rising wage bill.
Our gates last year never reached this seasons levels either.
Snippet 2: The pre-match pyrotechnics, much derided by some, are actually for the benefit of Chinese TV. Now, I don’t know the basis upon which our games are shown on TV in China. But I do know that TV contracts in the UK are a nice little earner, and China is a big, nay, very big, country.
The way I see it, and I may be wrong, but these two snippets are probably not entirely disconnected. Could it be that Chinese TV money is already funding our team to a great extent despite us still being in the Championship, and that, with huge sums on the horizon from this source, FFP could well be a problem for others to consider.
Now, wouldn’t that be lovely.
I’ve been asking for a long time how much money is being brought in from the Pay Per View in China.
It could be substantial.
Not sure how it could be validated by the FFP investigators.
Oh, I’m sure Fosun, and thus Wolves, will have to show it in their accounts.
I can part answer this question.
In the Autumn Wolves put on an U8’s & U9’s tournament at Compton. The Chinese sent a team over and it was beamed back to China via Wolves tv.
An estimated 500,000 people watched the tournament. (Yes that’s right, 500,000)
Now if that’s what they can command for kids, WTF is our team of Wonderkid’s gonna be getting.
As someone pointed out above, I for one can’t wait to see Shirt/Kit sales next year.
Iv’e heard Fosun have made their corperate colours Old Gold and Black and their new logo is “Out of the Darkness cometh light”. If this is true, then there’s only one way our team are heading.
Upwards and Upwards.
Absolutely Stu. The future is indeed bright. But an overall profit last year? Surely that can only be because of revenue already flowing from our Chinese cousins, be it Pay-per-View or otherwise. And the fare on offer wasn’t particularly edifying either, as I recall.
Maybe it won’t be any better in the Premier League.
https://www.theguardian.com/football/2018/feb/02/raheem-sterling-protect-players-manchester-city
Interesting that the ref was Bobby Madley, who has officiated badly for a few of our games this season.
Has this ref been demoted to the Championship because he’s had some bad Premier games, or are the regular Championship refs that bad that we have to have some top flight refs at times?
It is irrelevant which division a ref officiates in, the rules and standards should be applied equally.
However, I wonder if these poncy primma donnas will be so vociferous when the subject is raised of addressing the growing plague of diving at the merest hint of a fart against them.
Maybe crunching tackles are the neanderthal’s way of stopping the diving, by giving them something genuine to crumple, as though shot.
FOwb
I’m sure like me you played football and no doubt like me the number of times you were hurt so badly that you had to scream out in ‘agony’ was probably nil. I played on and off for about 22 years and in all that time I can remember just one occasion – when a guy broke his kneecap and the match was abandoned as he was taken to hospital. Yet somehow nowadays screaming out in agony happens 7 or 8 times in every game.
Bedders,
Last season, and the thirty nine previous ones, I could understand you screaming out in agony 7 or 8 times a game, and with the agonizing football served up that would be just the first half!
Now, however, I expect you to be oohing and aahhing 7 or 8 times a half, with the superb liquid football being served up by our boys.
Diving is still so common and it is almost embarrassing at times despite the so called crack down .
Lets hope the impending use of playback techno will help the refs to clamp down even further on that problem and the vicious tackling as well.
I did notice that several times on Saturday evening our own Helda Costa was acting like a bit of a girl with some of his falling over tactics .. he needs to cut that out .
The worrying thing for me is if you listen to the so called TV experts like Lineker, Shearer, Murphy, Carragher and Neville they all sing the same song namely “if you feel a touch in the penalty area you are entitled to go down”. A touch. Not a trip or a kick or a FOUL but a touch. They say this with straight faces as if to say that anyone who doesn’t agree doesn’t understand. At the weekend Harry Kane – England’s captain! – said quite unashamedly that he saw the Liverpool keeper rushing out and of course he could have jumped out of the way but why would he? After all if he stayed where he was he would ‘win’ a penalty. I thought penalties were given for fouls not ‘won’ and cetainly not for the merest touch especially if it could have been avoided rather than deliberately initiated. Mind you Kane is s serial diver just like Dele Alli who would be more at home performing a triple salchow in the pool than on a football pitch.
I might have said this before but, The phrase “Won a penalty” has never sat well with me. It’s F%^&$£”G cheating.
I don’t think anyone has any obligation to jump out of the way. You are entitled to be there as much as the other team ‘s players.
Re the firework display before last Saturdays match. For the first 10 minutes I could hardly see a thing on my T.V. and was most annoyed. So that this does not happen again I would like to offer a solution. As you may have seen and read, Darts matches and F1 have ceased using walk on girls to entertain the crowds and consequently I currently have more girls on my books than gigs. I was thinking of asking WWFC if they wanted to hire my all girl football team for the pre match entertainment. Anyone have a view on this ?
great binos on the back of every seat so we don’t miss anything Mildenhall great idea or what ??
At least they could line up wearing Our strip, not friggin’ Tottinham!!!
I keep putting Mrs Twix’s Tee shirts on hot wash …. BUT they still don’t come out like that ….
You need scissors Mike.?
Or not a hot wash, but put it on boil. That should do the trick, as it works with jumpers!
Is that a Redrow sign behind them? Grrrrrr!
Which part of inappropriate don’t any of you get?
Shut up. Just saying like. Let the boy play.
Cotswold – I tend to agree with you, even though I made an attempted ‘humourous’ comment about the non-female aspect of the picture, but more important than that I think you should be able to make your comment and contribute on here free from attack by others. As I understand it, though I think I missed it, Thomas said recently about inappropriate content on the site so maybe this could be policed better though I am unsure whether Thomas has pre-post screening or even editing powers.
Cotswold Wolf, (and to a point, Bedford Wolf) Which part of “if it offends you…scroll past”…don’t you get?
Mildenhall the point is that this blog is about football especially as it pertains to Wolves. If I wanted to look at scantily dressed young women there are, literally, billions of sites where could do so. Many of us would like to use this blog without having to hope our young daughter or sister would view it too without wondering if we have the same Neanderthal mind set as you. I would suggest parading elsewhere your soft porn on sites designed for it.
Cotswold Wolf, I take your point, but as regards daughters and sisters, are you saying that it is O.K. for them to read and see posts with the ‘F’ word in them, which is used often on here. While you are doing your best to get me banned, why not have a go at them, or is that kind of language acceptable in your world ? Also, remember who started the ‘making it personal’ thing with your remark that I had a Neanderthal mind set.
Come on chaps, remember the bigger picture – no pun intended – and the only thing that really matters here is that we are ALL Wolves. The bloke that sits next to me at Molineux irritates the hell out of me with his running commentary and ‘nuggets’ of wisdom explaining to the players what they SHOULD have done. Someone else near me uses dreadful language that I find appalling. The thing is though that whilst we are all different and have different views and different ways of expressing ourselves we are all the same in that we all care deeply and passionately about our club. Let’s try not to take or cause offence eh? Life’s too short and anyway there’s a game on Saturday.
OODCL
Hear, hear.
I will keep my posts football related now Dave.
Most young women, to my regret, use the F word frequently. It is not the same as seeing half dressed girls posted and made, subject to crude comments and it is you who risks getting banned by persisting in your behaviour.
I will now let the matter drop. Peace and success to all.
Oooooooohhhhhhh. Get you.
Nowt wrong with a bit of banter mate. But …….. I do get your point.
MILDENHALL ….. sort yourself out lad or Thomas will ban you.
and maybe some of us might like to apply for North Korean citizenship.
I’m not changing my name to Pak Doo Ik for anyone! 😉
I sometimes as a kid, was given that first name, but it had the letter “i” placed after it.
A few fights happened I must add, and a few hard tackles on the football pitch followed.
I had to add that last bit to keep it football related.
And we (still) exclude Mendes from all this life changing experience ?
i.e. Neves …as even Thomas said ‘his mucky hands..’
Fosuns the bank and ambition..Mendes has the player link..
NB. I just hope he doesn’t sail us down the river and sell our players on when the profit is high…Neves is now a piece of
platinum…
I’m pleased with Mendes’ contribution to the Wolves revolution and look forward to what he can do for us in the Premier – not that I’m already counting chickens. I see that he also been advising Swansea of late http://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2018/01/19/swansea-turn-jorge-mendes-help-transfer-window-signings.
Mendes answers partially to Fosun.
We will probably get first right of refusal most of the time.
ALL of the time as I see it. I understand that Nuno has the FINAL say in any recommendation from Mendes.
With every three points the string gets a little longer.
Just read the stuff on the wolves web site regarding Theresa May’s visit to China and the role that Guo Guangchang played in the visit and presenting the current range of Fosun,’s investments in the UK. From the way they were speaking about Wolves it’s very clear how important this investment is to them. I still just can’t quite get my head around the pure scale of the organisation backing us and how central we are to their desired future image. Very odd to get goosebumps when you’re over sixty.
They could have bought almost any club in the world yet with all their massive business intelligence they chose us – and you know what, the Fosun boys done good. Imagine the feedback going to China, not only top of the table but home games sold out, shirts sold out, masses of fans travelling away.
I know I’m biased but I really believe they have bought a magnificent brand at a bargain price. Not only will it sit easily on the world stage it can’t help but positively further underline the Fosun image.
They described the future of China-UK trade as entering the Golden Era. How appropriate.
All hail Chairman Guo and our great leap forward.
We cannot underestimate the part that the terrible twosome, Morgan & Moxey played in all this.
YES, 100% the greedy feckbags feathered their own nests and left with more than they claim, but they left a club that was highly investable and that was in real good shape. The footballing side was a disgrace and the standard was as we all realise now, well below par, but the Fosun group put the right guys in namely Sky Sun and Jeff Shi and the rest as they say is history.
Whether we believe it or not we have a global audience, no matter where I’ve travelled or worked in the World, old and young all know who my team are and what they were, that is due to us having a history, it’s having a ready made corporate image and a platform to move from the East into the West.
Brexit love it or hate it is a blessing for Companies wanting to invest, in (wait a minute) don’t Fosun do Travel, Health, Leisure, Insurance. Strange that, all investable and a Golden Tit for someone wanting to print money.
When we find out more of the big Picture in the future, I think we will realise the Chinese businessman who made a fortune of around £7 Billion is not a stupid Newcastle, West Ham, Cardiff or Birmingham greedy fat cat owner, but instead a shrewd calculated businessman, who much to our advantage is using us as the new figurehead of his flagship. We will be successful, we will get him more money, we will be a global face on the footballing stage that is the Champions leage and that will lead to billions of Old Gold & Black shirts being sold all over China and the World. Move over Man City, Man U, Liverpool we’re coming for you.
Just got back from 4 nights in Prague went into a Irish bar was going to give my wolves top to barman to stick on Wall and there was already one on the wall/ ceiling we must be going places
The barman said see u in the prem loved it
There’s no doubt that the chinese owners are head and shoulders above the local opposition, but they are business people first to last and the main aim of their corporation is the bottom line.
That said, how bloody exciting is to grasp the opportunity to follow a team backed by billions that appears to be symbiotically grafting
our colours to their corporate mast, witj the support of the number 1 agent and probably some of the barmiest and hard bitten fans the leagues will ever experience.
I can’t wait for Saturdays.
Sorry about the break in transmition.
And lay off Mildenhall!
He’s one of our own he’s one of our own Sir Jack Haywood he’s one of our own, bet he is looking down loving this .
Just know that Fosun would have loved Jack
Imagine him kept on as President what a class act and the Chinese really respect their elders.
Thats why they love Stu, and Bedders, and BOG, and Brompto, and Witters, and Tipton , etc. etc
Ha ha ha
I strongly object to being lumped in with blokes in their 70’s!
I may have to take out a banning order on you or organise a petition or even a protest march.
Me too. I have only JUST turned 60.
I have just got back from the Hilton Garden Inn, and have a contact there now, so I may call her to cancel his room and put up a tent for him outside.
Wonder if the excitement will be intense?
Tottenham’s new ground taking shape, would be interesting to see what Fosun make of this idea, dual sharing the ground with Rugby or American football.
https://www.facebook.com/TottenhamHotspur/videos/10155378711893505/
Stu – the only thing interesting about Tottingham is that they are the North London equivalent of Sandwell Town. Forever living in the shadow of their vastly superior, more famous and much more successful neighbours.
Millwall??????????????
If Texas was in South America you could be right.
😉
It is.
Didn’t you know Houston is the capital of Mexico?
Anyway, its well past your bedtime.
Run along, little boy!!
Mexico is in North America. What’s your point, Sparky?
Tim doesn’t understand banter does he?
T’wood, wooden tit?
I understand banter but some common sense has to be involved otherwise it just blather.
Chances were few and far between for Sheffield United as they fell to a second defeat in five days to fall five points off the play-off places and drop a place to eighth.
