What a difference a week makes.
Seven days after being thumped at Villa Park and we’re 13pts clear of Steve Bruce’s men, who is now attributing his latest defeat to the snow, having scoffed at our own prospects in the wintry weather a few months ago.
The irony won’t be lost on many, nor the endless ad-libbing about most facets of our club in every press conference he sits in.
Bruce, more than anyone, should appreciate that actions speak louder than words. Our actions on the pitch against Burton Albion were flawless, as we cruised to a second successive home win to inch us closer to the finishing line.
Winning (against weaker opposition) is one thing, but the self-assured manner of both victories has been quite astonishing in the context of the season, when Bruce, Radrizzani and their Machiavellian colleagues were cranking up the hysteria levels in a pretty transparent agenda. A winter of discontent, in other words.
Thankfully, Nuno’s men were as expressive on the ball as the rest of the league has been on the microphones, typified by the outrageously good Ruben Neves, who dictated proceedings like a conductor with the Philharmonic.
As Dave Jones actually bemoaned at roughly this time of the season when the wheels were falling off, struggling teams will still comprise of 11 men who try to stop us from winning. This time around, we appear to have the players who – to borrow another phrase from Jones – aren’t afflicted by ‘safety first football.’
Again, look no further than Neves, who positively demands the ball at all times when the easier option might be to pass the baton. Costa, Cavaleiro, Saiss…All of them in fact, are also desperate to have it to feet and express themselves positively. To comprise a squad of players with this common similarity is actually quite incredible, if not illegal depending on who you listen to. The end result is a sight to behold and a side in old gold who look to be genuinely enjoying themselves.
The full backs are occupying positions in the final third like they always used to and the understated Saiss spearheads the ‘mid-press’ philosophy that makes us as compelling without the ball as we are when we’re on it.
This was a nerveless display overseen by a nerveless manager in Nuno, whose ability to ignore the peripheral noises and concentrate on the job at hand is commendable. A head coach by day and a therapist at night for us compulsive obsessives.
And whilst lavishing praise on individuals isn’t Nuno’s style, he can only have purred at the performance of Benik Afobe who, to borrow a quote from another past-manager, looks like the final piece in the jigsaw.
If there can be one legitimate criticism of our side (rather than the ethics behind it) then it’s the lack of a Plan B when unpicking the lock. Those sumptuous goals at home to Sheffield United will live long in the memory, but Afobe’s first goal – and strike at Leeds – demonstrates a more direct route to goal that I’ll relish equally. A through ball, pace in behind and bang! Old fashioned number 9s might not be en-vogue, but with this diversity in place of Bonatini’s more predictable play, we only look stronger in the areas that matter.
Burton’s high line always looked likely to be breached at some point, with the only surprise in how quickly it was. Costa dispatched coolly from a stunning Coady through-ball early on and Afobe was clinical thereafter. Aside from questionable defending from a set play (which will surely be addressed ahead of a trip to Tony Pulis’ Boro), this was a breeze.
A clinically icy performance to further divide a division.

Well I think all wagon have been banished from the City of Wolverhampton & the wheels have been replaced with Rails.
This worm most definitely ain’t for turning.
Excellent game, with Brewsies anarchic face displaying without words “what the feks going on!”
Life ain’t gonna get much better.
UTW FOwb, Veela, Colin
I have to say this..
give or take that I was virtually pilloried by the dreaded blog mafia (lol) then I simply must gloat regarding my complete and previous obsession regarding the return of Afobe..
Sako nxt then..
Afobe was the best striker since Bully imo and his goal on the through ball even looked like Bully with a slight slide as he struck the ball and F****g buried it..
He could of had a lot of appearances at Boringmouth but he needs playing time and in our case adoration and Status so he can relish that and perform.
4 goals 4 games..
Only Bedford and a reluctant pussy comment by doogooder was prominent here…
I rest my case and hopefully he’ll be significant in getting us over the line.
Incidentally if we hold on to Neves then
It will be like us all winning the lottery ..
Just amazing and could be one of the top 3 players with a Wolves shirt ever ever..,
I would like to make it clear that I was, and still am, in the Steve showcase ‘Afobe will do it’ camp.
We’ve had our differences over the years but not in this case.
My only reservation was about buying him outright.
His method of play does not necessarily suit every team’s style.
But having him on loan and proving that our midfield can feed him properly was the perfect solution.
He’s a natural goal scorer and, given the right sort of service, will do exactly what it says on the tin.
I did not want him Steve, as you know. But I did say that I hoped he proves me wrong. If he keeps on “being there, in the right place at the right time” and scoring like he is, then I am happy with that. As a long term player for us in the Prem? I still have my doubts, as I believe there are better out there. In the meantime though, he will do, IF he continues to show me that I was wrong.
All we need to do now is sort out our problematic defending at set pieces – that is the most important thing for me now, as we need to stop letting in goals so easily. Alternatively, just keep Batth away from the pitch and we might be okay!!!
Just got my ticket for the Boro game on the 30th seeing as I am now back from my jollys.
8 games left. Champions elect.
The irony of the Villa defeat on a snowy Bolton pitch immediately sprang into my mind too Ben. Obviously, they can’t do it on a cold day in Bolton. Tee hee. Lovely stuff.
I listened to the match commentary and saw the highlights on 5 and it seemed a superb performance all round. Total control in difficult, some might say, levelling conditions.
Pleased, of course, for Benik and Helder to add to their goal tally, but a brief comment about Ruben Neves. He seems to improve with every game, even from the heights he has already displayed. When he makes one of his trademark, right on the button, unbelievable passes, he reminds me of a bowls player, sending the ball on it’s way, knowing to the inch it’s destination, just waiting to see the havoc it will cause within the opposition ranks. A truly wonderful player.
Finally, what encouragement for Fosun and their project to see, on a freezing day, against far from glamorous opposition who bought barely 500 hardy souls in support, a crowd of nigh on 30,000 cram into Molineux. This proves to them that with the team, come the fans. That Wolves are indeed a slumbering giant which only needs to be tickled a little by success to transform into the roaring pack which can carry our beloved club to the very pinnacle of the football world.
Enjoy the break team. Every man jack of you have earned it.
Think Neves is in the top 3 deffo and Fosun will only want to add yet more quality if aiming for the stated aim of champions league football.
Keep thinking will wake up from the dream but he ho this is real, Vanilla brother thinks it will be play offs for them – can it get any better ? oh yes it can Albion coming down – Stu please post that 50p pic again brilliant
Midd’boro away (how many years since we won there ?) and colin’s cloggers to come (derby game postponed so more fixture congestion for them) but the other games seem winnable/draws
Afobe son thinks he will not cut it in the prem but I think he will because he will have a better TEAM behind him.
Thank you Fosun,Jeff,Laurie,Kevin, Nuno and all the boys for all the effort.
What a fantastic weekend, shame Derby v Cardiff called off, I was really looking forward to a Derby win to make it that little bit special. I knew Le Fondre would come good for us lol and I am beginning to fall in love with Holloway. Great to see the pain on Bruce’s face at the final whistle last night, it just topped off a perfect day. The boys did us proud and so impressive, those passes from Neves and Coady where unbelievably good. In a great place for the run in. Just hope they all come back from Internationals unharmed. UTW.
It’s not a shame Bill, it’s a blessing, clear by six points for the next ten days and Cardiff will now have a mid week game while we are planning there down fall on the following Friday night. A blessing indeed.
I have to pitch in with my support for Stevie Showcase’s claim as Scout of the year, tucked away in Sunny Naaaarwich he spotted the potential in Afobe after the turncoat glory hunter, jumped ship and dumped us with no recognised striker to note. His inability to be a loyal team member as the great Steve Bull, is the sole reason for us being complete and utter Shite for the last two seasons since his departure for more money albeit at a lesser club. Don’t anyone come on here and try to level the blame at the feet of Morgan or Moxey, you can only work with the players you have, if one of them decide to P off and leave us in the Shite you can’t blame upper management.
Well he’s back, Benik (not Steve) and he is being assisted by every star player at Molineux, (and we have a few) he is getting inch perfect passes stroked to his feet and after cameo rolls for 15 – 30 minutes he is managing to bump into balls, Leon style.
Nuno has gone to great pains to say, “we are a team, not individuals, yes Afobe has scored but so has Costa, Jota, Neves, Doherty, Boly, Douglas, Bennett, cavalerio, Saiss, FFS even Bonatini has scored a few”. Let’s see if he can do it in the heat of the Spring, on dry, warm pitches against the likes of Derby, Cardiff, Boro.
So well done Stevie boy, time will tell on another Numo gamble, can he do it in the PL, well 4 more games will decide that, if he can get us there then I will also say he’s back.
🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂
It was good to see Nuno give Bonatini a role to play on Saturday, and great that the crowd gave Bonatini a rousing cheer when he came on. Hopefully he’ll still be with us next season, as I reckon there’s more to come from him.
If they wear Old Gold and Black we have to give them our support.
Basherbaz.
If you click and hold it, you can copy it to your own photo album.
Thanks Stu – have already passed this on
What was that famous quotation from one of our greatest leaders on the eve of an important battle?
“Nuno expects that every man will do his duty”.
And they did. Almost to a man.
You have to feel for poor John Ruddy. Burton had one shot on target – and scored.
The fact that it took a deflection and came through a sea of legs won’t be remembered when our descendants tell the tale of Wolves’ Championship winning side of 2018.
But, apart from that, it was an almost perfect example of teamwork.
Every cog meshing smoothly together and powering us forward and upward.
Please tell me if I’m getting carried away with my brand new rose tinted spectacles but the more one sees of Neves the more one starts to wonder if there is a better so called ‘defensive’ midfielder plying their trade in any of the divisions.
The only way of finding out for certain is for him to have a hundred or so games in the Premier League against the big boys.
Lets just pray that when he does, he plays them in a Wolves shirt.
The fear was a second half like Norwich, sitting deep to close it out. But it was more like Reading, which is to say straight on the attack and cruising after the third. With Villa and Fulham faltering and Cardiff’s game postponed amid a Derby injury crisis, we could not have asked for better.
I agree about Afobe Ben. I said a few times in the preview posts we can’t judge him fairly until he’s played from the start and had a chance to get into a rhythm. There were signs yesterday, other than his two goals, that he’s sharpening up his overall game. There isn’t any doubt in my mind he’s going to score the goals that take us up. I’m expecting double figures.
Finally got to a game on a bit of a whirlwind trip. Landed back in Norway after a few days travelling back from the Middle East. Then on a flight to London the following day and up on the train from Euston with a healthy sprinkle of Wolves fans heading the same way. Seated near enough middle behind the goal in the Northbank. Colder in Wolves than back in Norway but the football warmed me up. Been so lucky to witness the Magician that is Neves. This team and their classy manager do their gobbing off on the pitch leaving Mr Potato Head and his also rans too far away to be bothered about. The potential of this team with additions to come is genuinely exciting. What a time to be a Wolves fan. To top the season off for me would be to see Cardiff lose in the playoffs
Looks as if Colin had a wasted trip as well
Pity that van ain’t going about 60 mph
95 mph would be better Matt, good to see you in the NBB on Saturday, hope your journey home wasn’t to horrific.
Hey Witley …. just started a job at. Waterloo I know you used to play your football round there … did you know a Charlie Flinn ?
just have to laugh at this – doubt if the vanilla will
Still getting these “asia charm” “do you like me” “lets chat” pop up adverts at least mildenhall’s pics were a bit of FUN
Sorry basherbaz, I’ll stop putting ’em up.
The tide has finally turned my baggie and villa friends, worse than that, it’s not even a regular tide, it’s a tsunami!
Not too many moons ago, there were them on this blog regretting Edwards’s departure, because he was good for the odd goal and his tireless running in midfield.
Wanna swap him for Neves?
Likewise, Wallace and Saville are doing the business (!) in Millwall.
Does anyone think they should come back?
What about Sako, Stevie Showcase, who would you drop to find a place for him?
My Granny could have scored the offside, handball ridden goals Afobe has luckily scuffed in so far.
No, it was a wrong decision to bring him back, and as has been mentioned above, can he knock ’em in when the weather is calm and the air is fresh and the sun is shining and the birds and the Molineux crowd are singing?
Doubtful.
There were also, many years ago, when the blog first started, them who I reffered to as clockwork mice.
Wind ’em up and off they go!
Everyone who wears a Wolves shirt gets my full support ( except Stephen Ward, who I refuse to acknowledge as a footballer ) and I hold my hands up to Afobe…………so far so good.
If he can do what The Doog did all those years ago when he helped us over the finish line, then I will buy you a half, in Sunderland!!
Fabulous footballing day yesterday, shit losing after being ahead, again, Fulham dropping points, Brucies little adolescents losing to an Adam Le Fondle goal at Notlob, and poor old Lambo’s Stokies getting stuffed at home.
Yow cor mekk this stuff up.
We still gotta go to Notlob, but surely everything will be wrapped up by then?
Happy in Houston.
FOwb
It’s true Clive, that many of us were more than grateful for Eddo’s contribution to the team both in goals and miles run making valuable interceptions. Would we swap Neves for him? Of course not. But the point is, we didn’t have Neves so there was no choice to make.
Would Neves have played for us for the years Dave Edwards did for the money on offer? Of course not, but he doesn’t have to. These are different days, with different owners, and any comparison of our current squad with players of the recent past is spurious, to say the least.
Maybe see you in Sunderland buddy, if I can get a ticket.
Like most wolves games lately this one was on live , I usually record it and watch a few days later but as the derby game was canceled iv just watched it again. I normally enjoy the second viewing if we’ve won because there ain’t no anxiety but tbh , not for one minute did I doubt that we would win whilst watching live , a training drill, a passing practice session really
Neves is different class , as Paul Merson said “ that boy Neves ! What’s he doing in the championship! He will one of the best players in the premier, a proper, proper player “
Hopefully we can wrap up the league with a few games to spare and steal a march on our rivals in negotiations for a few more top draw players to keep Neves etc interested , also regarding Afobe , he is definitely trying to link up play more recently, a bit of desperately wanting to stay with wolves and a bit of being ‘nunod ‘ imo
Now which one of the other two recorded games to watch next ? Villa or Fulham?
Feck it , columbo is just starting on classic murder mysteries
Utw
Champions by mid April
Happened to be watching Sky Sport when they announced this morning the game at Pride Park was postponed, followed shortly after by yet another Warnock rant being televised from inside the stadium, pitch looked perfect – not a flake of snow anywhere, and not much more outside the ground either. Mmmmm – bit of a stitch up there me thinks., and very amusing too.
Not as amusing though as the look on Steve Bruces face as he realised Bolton were getting the three points yesterday, really enjoyed watching Karl Henry snapping at the heels of anything in Claret & Blue all game, reminded me of happy days from another era. Thanks Carl for an epic performance and result from your side.
Ben – spoke to your dad some half an our after the game finished to say I had not stopped laughing since the Bolton final whistle, and Im still laughing now. As Nuno said, show humility, as life and football can kick you in the teeth if you get too big for your boots.
Bring the next game on!!
There’s one manager I really quite dislike – Ian Holloway. However after taking points from both Villa and Fulham this week leaving us 13 points clear I am prepared to become his new best friend!
Friday night – 9 games and 6 wins required
Saturday night – 8 games and 4 wins required
What a great weekend!
I have no worries about promotion but lots about losing Neves .I don’t think Fosun will sell and he has a long contract with us but will his head inevitably be turned when a top 6 club seek him ? Only 21 so he should be in no hurry but I fear that loss I really do .Am I too paranoid ?
Nick,
Can I take you back 12 months – loads of bloggers “shittin it” over the loss of Costa.
Where’s Costa now!
You can rule Fosun, Jeff & Nuno out of needing &/or letting him go – cus we don’t need the money.
Less that 2yrs since Fosun came to town (sorry the City) and WWFC is still “a single project” in their over business portfolio, Fosun/Jeff have made it 100% clear of their aims for us which will remain as “investments” not “opportunistic”.
The only way that Neves will leave is if he makes the request himself & if we provide Premier League followed by cup runs & the possibility of European football & call ups for his national team why would you want to leave?
I also believe we can apply the same logic to a number of the team now.
There will be casualties from this team next year, but only to be replaced by “better” players, whereby we can’t all cry out “he’s a great servant” because this management really do mean business.
So a long answer to your question but yes you are paranoid, but don’t worry he ain’t going anywhere!
UTW
Think Neves could conduct the CBSO while he’s at it. He’s different grade!
But then so are Costa, Cav, Saiss. I just love the way the midfield two interchange so flexibly.
Don’t want to get too excited yet 4 wins to go, still a hill to climb Neves count your chickens!
But it pisses me off seeing paper articles, other teams managers & Directors implying illegality & wanting a level playing field!
What complete & utter twaddle. There’s never ever been a level playing field in football in the 50 years I’ve been following the game!
So Neves should have gone to Chelsea to warm their bench? Jota likewise, where does it end? If Costa scores too many & leaves too many defenders on their asses then we should sell him to one of the top 6.
How level is the playing field when any of the Top 6 Prem Elite play anyone below them? Chinese money into Wolves & the advice of Superagent Mendes is actually levelling the playing field. Hopefully with his advice & influence Wolves as a force from the Un fancied sticks can break up the elite big six. But yes that’s a long way off a while yet.
It can only be good for the game as it currently is, a Mega Global business & cash cow, that Chinese investment is coming into teams like us. All this schoolboy whining and griping is sour grapes. Surely the venerable FA would not want to deter inward investment?
Hey lads & lasses,
There’s only 72 seats left from the 2,100 initial allocation for the game against Colin’s cloggers.
Was open to STH’s from yesterday & don’t think they are subject to points system!
Neves…..wow! How good can this man get?
I managed to watch the game via a stream, though not perfect it was watchable. Though it did freeze just as Afobe let rip so didn’t know for certain if he had scored or it went wide. 😉
Of course it went in.
A very decent all round performance. Some truly outstanding passing from Neves and Coady.
Afobe – I was not convinced with him coming back and asked him to prove me wrong. Well he has, so fair play to him and well done Benik.
Did I mention Neves and how good he is and how good can he get?
🙂
Was in two minds whether to travel to the game because of the weather forecast but after receiving pictures from a fellow blogger of a very posh but snow free street near Wolverhampton we decided to risk it. We have been to 5 out of the last 7 home games and it has snowed at 3 of them, roll on the warmer weather. Really enjoyed the game and I think someone else has put on here that it was exhibition stuff at times. Really pleased for Afobe but was hoping he would stay on and score a third. I know Burton weren’t great but you can only beat what is put in front of you. 6 goals and 6 points in 2 games, great stuff. Aston who ? Have to say though that when we left Molineux it was bloody cold. A few drinks and a warm-up in the hotel and then out for more drinks and some food at The Sunbeam pub. Sue and I have decided that because of our Northern accents the locals think we are away fans when they hear us speak. For the 3rd time running, slightly pissed Wolves fans have interrupted our meal to make stupid remarks only to end up shaking my hand or hugging me when they see that I have got a Wolves badge on. Wouldn’t have it any other way though I suppose as I love Wolverhampton and the people. A nightmare journey home as my water had frozen and every few miles I had to stop and rub snow on the windscreen to see where I was going. Wouldn’t have swapped this weekend for anything though as this was another few miles on our journey to The Premier League. 30,000 for the visit of Burton Albion says it all. The sleeping giant is finally waking up and some of you “big boys” better take notice. Onwards and upwards because this IS the year……………………………………….and I want my 14/1 winnings 🙂
View from W2 Billy Quiet Upper…
Snow was evident on the floor of the front row in the upper yesterday when I sat down at around 2.55. Snow….I thought it was impossible to blow that far up under the roof but there you go. The last time I can recall being that perishingly cold at a football was Boxing Day 1962 when the game was abandoned at half time with Wolves 2 up against WBA. My dad and I walked home to Sedgley as the trolley buses were unable to run. Mind you we won 7-0 when the game was eventually re-played. Snow remained on the ground in Sedgley until April but life went on as normal and our school was open throughout (Queen Victoria, Bilston Street, Sedgley).
I know I know I know I keep waxing lyrical about Ruben Neves as I have done since last August but another sublime performance topped off with a superb ball to Afobe and THAT ball to Costa towards the end. Mind you Coady is also very adept with these killer passes as the through ball to Costa demonstrated quite clearly.
A quite accomplished performance saw off Burton with the minimum of fuss – mind you the penalty incident which Clough junior had a rant about occurred right in front of us…..maybe he had a point.
Looking ahead there is no doubt in my mind that we have the nucleus of a team to make its mark in the Greed League. Supporters and indeed chairmen/owners of promoted clubs aim for survival and some have actually done very well – Watford, Burnley, Bournemouth etc.
It seems to me the objective of “Project Wolves” with Fosun/Nuno/Mendes survival is the last thing on their minds. It has already been intimated that playing in the Premier League is the stepping stone to the Champions League.
I don’t know about you lot but I have to keep pinching myself that this is happening at Molineux. Over the last 50 years or so we have experienced some highs and a helluva lot of lows. Witness the fact that thanks to divisions three and four a lot of us visited “stadiums” (I use the term loosely – if you have ever been to Halifax or Rochdale or Hartlepool or Aldershot you will know what I mean) which we only previously mulled over on the pools coupon.
Now we face the prospect of not just the Etihad, New White Hart Lane, London Stadium (?), Anfield (I have been to Liverpool 12 times over the years and never seen us win. Missed the Mardenborough goal in 1984, the cup victory last year as I was on a cruise and the Stephen Ward goal), Old Trafford and Emirates, but maybe the Allianz, Nuo Camp, Bernabeau, The Stadium (Juventus – sometimes called the Allianz as well) and so on in a couple of years or so.
This is quite a remarkable turnaround and long may it continue bloggers.
Have a great week and enjoy a quiet smile at the self pity engulfing the Handsworth Hovel and Veeeela Park because I can assure you the gloating would be all to evident the other way round. Anybody remember 2013?
BOG
Ben has a new thread posted, (fans Parliament minutes) they are also released on Wolves news now.
Whichever version you read, they are certain to warm the cockles of your hearts. We are on the up, the ground is on the up, the fanbase is on the up, in short, it’s all looking pretty special.
I’m really pleased for Nuno, Steve Bruce take a page out of Nuno’s book anyone would think Villa had won the League last Saturday Bruce dismissive of Nuno’s celebrating when Wolves score well you certainly weren’t celabrating yesterday Brucie.
You might of won a battle but you’re not going to win the war. Consistency Brucie Nuno has been a pains to instill that in the team something you should try installing in your pretenders to the crown your so called best player in the Championsship Grelish the only best player accolade Grelish can claim is the best player in his own little world same with Villa……….see league table if you don’t believe me .
Some knob on the Birmingham mail villa report has blogged that the premier league are also looking into dealings at wolves with an eye to sanctions against them should they be promoted.
Is this bullshit ?
Spikeyboy.
This is true.
Every team promoted from the Championship HAS to go through similar checks to the EFL. Laurie Dalrymple has gone to great lengths to say, “we have nothing to worry about”
These are routine checks done on every club that gains promotion each season. The sanctions, well that is some Villa fan looking for a lifeboat in his sad existence out there in the doldrums.
Total bullshite, mind games at best.
Good 3-1 win…3 more points…one small step for a man but a giant leap forward for WOLVES.
Always jgood to be in Witley s corner …
some fantastic news in the metro this morning
ALAN PARDEW IS REFUSING TO GIVE UP AND PLANS TO CONTINUE ON UNTIL THE END OF THE CONTRACT HE SIGNED UNTIL THE END OF THE 2019 / 20 SEASON ….
I absolutely love that guy
Former Wolves keeper @mccareyA1 – now at Ross County – has been called up to the Republic of Ireland squad for the first time. Fantastic achievement, good luck Aaron #wwfc
Well done Aaron an sll round good edd.
Another win 3 more points, towards the prem
More goals from afobe that is how u do it, if he was here from the start of the season he would of easily of bagged 30 goals injury free by far best finisher at club, when we go up I would definitely buy him
I disagree. Of course. I wait. I wait until he scores for fun, at the moment he is doing nothing more than is expected. Not prolific.
When we go up, I expect us to be buying in a striker that is Champions League Class, not some “I want to play in the Prem NOW so I am leaving” type person, who when they arrive at a Premiership club can’t get a game!!!
That said, I am also happy for him to show me that I am wrong. He hasn’t done it yet though.
Nuno on hearding the Villa fans have been crowing that Grealish is better than Neves……

Brompton I was just saying if afobe was there from the start this season and the players creating around him he would of scored for fun, he is a natural goalscorer that’s what he does best, I’m not saying he will score goals for fun in prem but given decent service he will score goals
We will need more striker next season but I can’t really see us buying a champions league class forward, I for one would love that but I think we will need to be competing for top 6 for that at least.
The way things are going mate, I believe that we will indeed see Champions League Class players coming to Molineux, not just at the start but certainly in 5-10 years time when we are competing in the top 6.
I am excited at what the future brings.
