There aren’t many things I disagree with our manager about but one recent comment peaked my interest.

It came after the Blackburn game when in his post match interview he suggested Jordan Rhodes was the best player in the Championship.
Apologies Mr Jackett, but I must respectfully disagree.
That accolade, based on everything I’ve witnessed so far belongs to Bakary Sako.
Yesterday only served to reinforce the belief after the eccentric winger once more pulled his side from the flames with a precision finish for a fifth league goal of the season.
And if ever a performance merited a goal, it was this one. Skilful, strong and inventive throughout, Sako was a consistent thorn in Wigan’s side. They simply couldn’t lay a glove on him.
It says a lot for Dave Edwards then that it was he who took home the Man of the Match champagne for being brilliant in a very different way.
For every Sako step over there was lung bursting surge across the pitch from the Welshman to recover possession and keep Wolves in the ascendancy. Time and time again he harried, hassled and emerged the victor.
He got his goal too, planting another inch perfect header from a van La Parra cross into the top corner, reminiscent of his winner against Norwich on opening day.
A shrewd and timely move from Kenny Jackett to restore him to the side as the team was undeniably stronger for his energetic and committed presence.

van La Parra, also recalled after a stint on the sidelines, brought balance and forward thrust to the opposite flank, helping stretch the game for the likes of Sako, Edwards and the impressive Dicko to thrive.
As an attacking force, the team did enough to win the game easily. The fact they didn’t owed to a mixture of sloppiness and misfortune.
Richard Stearman seemed to be taking the brunt of the blame for twice being out muscled by the considerable stature of Marc-Antoine Fortune.
The big Wigan striker occupied our defence superbly and the Latics were undeniably poorer after he was curiously given the hook.
But even after Stearman’s foul the team shouldn’t have allowed James Perch the freedom of the six yard box to head home an immediate riposte to Edwards’ opener.
Equally, I felt they were slow to cut out the cross that landed fortuitously for the appropriately named Fortune to thrash the visitors into a lead they scarcely deserved.
On the positive, it is sloppiness rather than a fundamental lack of quality that has cost Wolves defensively, not only yesterday, but in the two games that preceded this one. Sloppiness can be eradicated.
A stuttering start to the second half saw Wigan break menacingly and nearly kill the game, but after Sako’s moment of magic, it was the home side doing all the pushing.
Kenny Jackett himself said that both he and the team felt hard done by having not taken the three points after dominating long periods of what was an absorbing, back-and-forth contest.
That is something we can certainly agree on.

It’s a tough old league many teams are probably feeling they deserve to be top with barely 3 points separating the top half of the division I’m going to try and not get carried away with a good start maybe Christmas we will have a better idea of where we will finish. I trust jacket 100% I’m still thinking it’s the play offs for us though
It shows how much Evans has progressed that I thought we missed him yesterday. Rowe didn’t seem to influence the game much apart from a couple of tackles. Thought in the end we did enough to get the win but paid for defensive lapses. Conceding so soon after Edwards’ brilliant opener was criminal.
I agree with Thomas about the team selection. RVLP looked good, don’t know why he was subed. Edwards is always up for a solid performance and a goal. Disagree with Rich, I thought Rowe helped big Mac well and could be a real asset for us. Sako was Sako, brilliant and unpredictable. It’s curious that our defence has become wobbly, that’s a confidence issue I think. It’s a trueism that teams are vulnerabley after scoring,
yesterday might make the shortest time ever in the lead. We did enough and were unlucky not to win in the end of what was an exciting match. Dicko’s contribution up front was imense as ever. If we can get Stearsn back on track, we will be OK. My concern is midfield in so far as when big Mac is shut down, we have a problem. Being musled out in the middle is our achilles heel. For me, forget 442, 451 works if we have creativity in reserve.
A few observations from the match.
Stearmen sees a lot of ball and his distribution from the back is very good but he is still making the same mistakes as I seen over 2 years and unfortunately for him they often result in goals. I’m not saying he is to blame for some short comings in our defence as I watched Batth also get skined as well. Our fullbacks are top quality distribution and defence their link up play was excellent and I would argue that when Henry entered the game we had even more of a attacking presence in the right. I think Rowe grew into the game and can see him defiantly starting the next which I think he deserves in merit. Big Mac I thought did well he was deeper than our centre halfs at some points which speaks for its self sako Dicko awesome if Dicko could find his scoring boots he would be worth millions what a steal we had him for. My dad’s blind so I have to give him a running comentry on what’s going on and only five minutes into the match and fans behind were already slagging players off. My dad asked are we playing that bad my reply was no this is one of the best wolves side I have ever seen composed not rushing and aimless passes forward like the bad old days. This team and club have come on leaps and bounds there are is no stand out team in fact it’s pretty dam even. We could win this we need a bit more belief and cut out the mistakes and we could go all the way. I really believe that do you?
Totally agree HB from what I have seen in the last 3 matches.
Rowe looks a good acquisition and gave balance to the midfield and does get his foot in.
Excellent battling second half performance – it’s a pity we were so sloppy in the first half.
Our central defenders can’t play as sloppy as they’ve done in the last matches. Or can they? They’ll probably start the next match also. We need stronger competition. Hause is promising – and lent out to the Gills.
We are still in contention ..just..and re sources at the back are now under scrutiny..I’m blinded by DB he can’t do anything wrong for me but Stears is decidedly flakey…do we need back up at the back?
However..when I saw us 2-1 down I would of begged for a draw only to prevent the continued shock that we still can’t do the business at home and have dropped 9 points since Sept.
Players stepping up..Sako Sako ..if we keep him it will be a miracle.. he needs a wage rise..Edwards,K mac, Dicko, VLP these are the guys who will get us there..is Ikeme off colour anyone?
Overall, a good recovery,we could of won in the end and yet another tale of two halfs..
If I’m brave enough I would love to see them at Millwall….I fancy us there particularly for KJ.. but as I’m south of London to get a ticket I would have to mix it with the London nutters.. I would have to remember not to ask for a pint of Banks’s and a pkt of scratchings..
I feel we are 2/3rds back to business..
..we need a Forest Ipshit draw today…
COYW
Edwards made a mockery of having been left out before.
We need his engine, and scoring ability, in the starting line up.
One thing the last few games have shown is that the difference between top and bottom in this division is absolutely miniscule.
Dropping points at home to so called lesser clubs is sure to happen to everyone.
It’s going to go down to the last kick of the season I reckon.
It’s going to be a bumpy ride, but the play offs beckon and a top two spot is up for grabs.
And with players like Edwards, Sako, Dicko, Supermac and Ikeme (when he regains his Mojo) in the team we’ve got as good a chance as anyone.
Three points at Milwall will do for starters.
Check out the Edwards interview on official Wolves, bang on assessment, great finish and clearly a smashing fella to boot.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nhO4UhVk5HA
Jerryd – I don’t think Macca needs any help though. Him sitting allows someone like Evans to go forward and take a few risks. Sure we had Edwards, but we also only had one striker so often there were precious few options in the box. Early days but for me Rowe was content with taking a few nice touches here and there and letting the game generally pass him by.
It is astonishing just how tight this league is right now – as things stand we are 8th in the table…but two points off the top spot. It really isn’t going to be easy – never was going to be – but two losses in eleven is a good sign even if we ought to have more points right about now!
On a similar note the defence needs to get into gear – these last three games I feel have been sub par…
Good report Thomas, Sako best in the league, not so sure , can be twice as infuriating as he can be brilliant.
Edwards man of the match thoroughly deserved , harried and won the ball back on numerous occasions and worryingly is more of an attacking threat than Dicho.
Dicho for all his effort and endeavour is becoming a little like Doyle was; no one better to replace him, but ultimately little goal threat and no goals.
This lack of cutting edge could cost us at the end of the season, we must have dropped 5 or 6 points to date due to not taking our chances and converting our possession to goals.
As was the case yesterday, we were the better team but not enough strikes on goal,
We do need a striker to put them away – glad we did not sign Delort he didn’t look sharp at all.

They say that the table starts to get real after 10 games and I reckon that’s a true reflection for us after our flirtation with the top 3. As so many have said abpve, it’s unbelievably tight and will continue to be. We should have taken the three points but in the end, Fortune was on their side (sorry!). The defence was shaky again yesterday and I think it could badly do with an experienced recruit. But hang on….. isn’t Sam Ricketts crying out to be brought back in for just that purpose? He would steady things and there were times when his leadership was needed. Sometimes our building from the back was slow, almost passing ourselves into oblivion, against a mediocre side. We were at our best when moving forward at speed. Some of our best moves started from raking long and crossfield passes which some would dismiss as long ball.
Best performances came from Dicko – muscular and fast, creating many openings as a result, Edwards – always hassling the defence into mistakes and keeping very cool for his goal, Sako, mostly! – often bamboozling their defence and a great finish and McDonald, his usual commanding self, though often forced much too deep. Rowe was mostly sound, though positioning sometimes a bit off-beam and not sure he adds value over Evans, Henry or Jacobs….yet. For once, the international break might be well timed for us.
My house is safe as I knew it would be I said Fortune would score and he did. I thought Stearman had turn the corner he has but the wrong way he’s never totally convinced but I thought the worse was behind him that he had irradiated the sloppyness that he had savide up and no longer let himself get musseled out of challenges wel I was wrong and right, wrong in that I thought he had finally cut out the basic mistakes so costly in the Premier league, right in that he will never be better than a good League one player time and time again what ever the league apart from league one he has flattered to deceive and he’s done it again more fool me and Kenny Jackett I think
The Wheels have fell off at the back…
Stearman needs a rest he was to blame for both goals as well as one against Hudderfield.
Bring back Ricketts in centre defence to partner Danny,
Edwards RVP have to start our best attacking threats with Sako,
Dicko not cutting this level..
Overall think we all would have taken 8th place after 11 games 2 points off the top.
Need to aim for average 2 points per game and we will be around the top come May.
Don’t agree with the criticism of Dicko. A thankless task alone up front. On his day he’s unplayable. Perhaps should have scored yesterday but the goals will come. As for Stearman, I’m starting to worry League One was his level.
Ok the Wolves blog mafia has spoken..if Stearman is not good enough then replace him ..I criticise
Clarke the same way.
I thought he cost us goals.. but we had a team signature which was the best defence in the league .the theory if we keep a clean sheet we can win by a goal..
Which for Wolves is the most important.. defence or our attack.?.the obvious answer being neither but both…so we still need a striker and we now need a defender .. Or bring in Rickets if he is good enough …
We have to address this…. KJ….
I
On the defense, i don’t like to criticize Stearman or DB as there are many others who are more than happy to do that especially Stearman, after conceding only three goals in eight games to then eight in three is very worrying, hope KJ and JG can find the answer to this sudden crisis, i think patience is needed here.
The last 7 days represent a bit of a blip but we have only had one bad game and that was where the shape of the team was a little different. Rather than seeking a scapegoat on the pitch i am still perturbed by the failure to bring in another striker proven at this level. I still feel KJ was appointed partly to give more control over transfers and contracts to others. This has resulted in additions like Saville who dont add much for the immediate future but as we were told one day could be a player worth a lot more ( Jez written all over it ? ).
I agree Colin ..striker needs to be spent on big time we’ve all said it enough but let’s say we score an extra goal a game ..but then to cancell that out by giving a goal away at the back?…we’ve let in too many….
We do need both.
I do not apoligise if I upset some of you ad I do not particularly care what others think, but I do believe that Stearman is, once again, costing us points.
I admit to coming round to supporting him last season where he had a marvellous time throughout, and at the start of this season he was also very strong. However, his old ways have returned and if you look at the last 5 games out of 7, the goals scored against us have been down to the mistakes that he has made.
Maybe he needs to be rested, maybe we need some backup. I am not a manager so I will leave that to Kenny, but I do not mind being quoted. “Stearman will cost us if we don’t sort him out NOW!!”
Come on you Wolves.
8 goals in the last three games and aleast 3 down directly to Stearman all those who think he’s being hard done by ill remind you again at the end of the season.
Just like a striker could be the differance between promotion or not so is the Stearman issue.
What have I started..
The fact that every man and his dog, even Stevie Wonder can see we needed a striker during the widow it begs the question does Steve and Jez want to get promoted this season………………….there’s one to mull over…?
Perhaps more to the point is, “How much are they prepared to pay to get promoted this season”. A striker could be a great investment given the amount of money available in the prem.
I think Ricketts gives us a bit of cover at the back.
Not sure about up front. Clarke hasn’t really cut it and Sagbo’s scoring record is hardly inspiring me with confidence. Dicko is quick so maybe we play more balls in behind the defense so he can ustilise that pace. Playing high balls is a waste of time. Bit of a no brainer really.
Thought we should have won this one, we certainly did enough to. The addition of Edwards was timely. Not that into the crticism of Stearman, I thought he slipped for the free kick that was given away. Perch should have been picked up by someone.
Rowe looks to be a good addition, if he has more games he will get used to the side & give us more. He looks solid. I’d have given the MOM to Sako who was brilliant on the night. Also Edwards, Dicko were excellent. RVLP faded I think, although his crosses seem more dangerous than James Henry’s.
I would have thought Jacobs could add to this side but his star seems to have faded lately. His problem I think is that he does tend to give away possession too frequently.
A tough league though this one. On paper & squad wise Wigan look awesome, there are no surefire points or victories to be had, so the team has to be 100% on the money in all the games, otherwise another Huddersfield nightmare will happen.
It does not make for comfortable viewing at times, & it looks like I’ll not get my dream game where we’re 3-0 up & I can move from the edge of my seat for more than a few minutes. Don’t know how those who regularly go away can stand it.
It says something that we are a little disappointed, when in fact if someone had said at the start of the season ‘Would you be happy being in the top 10 at the start of October?’. We would have all bit their hand off. I personally think we are over-achieving on the back of a great season in League 1.
But this is the Championship – it’s a totally different ball-game.
A bit of reality has hit the team and us supporters.
Mid-table finish was my thoughts at the start of this season and I see no reason to change my mind. Off course, nothing would please me more than to be proved wrong and we finish higher.
For some reason cant get my fav music on you tube so here i am. The Stearman debate interests me strangely. Its obvious many fans dont like or rate him. I am intrigued
– not a big fan myself still don’t quite get it. Before last season even started he was being lined up as the weakest link, technically the bad apple etc. But blow me down he had quite a good season. At the start of this season until this week we had the meanest defence in the country. Ok he had a tough time against Holt and Fortune but they relish playing against us and they were players with a point to make. And didnt Danny deflect 2 shots going wide into his own net ? Something he has done before. Would Wolves really be a much better team without Stearman a youngish centre half who has yet to fill out ? Not sure I am that interested in defending him really as trying to understand the fans and there instincts.
Whilst I have aired my views on Stearman, I do not really want to tear him apart. Yes, he did have a good season prior to this, but that was in Division 1. Yes, he did start this season strongly, but look at the last 7 games and see how many basic errors have come from him that have lead, either directly or indirectly to us conceding.
I admit, which is well documented, that I do not rate him, but I am also content to put my hands up and admit when he has performed well. Unfortunately, in my opinion I add, I feel that he is inconsistent. Inconsistent to the extent that I am once again waiting for him to make a mistake as opposed to being surprised when he does.
I also believe that when our midfield is playing exceptionally well, which they have been, then pressure is lessened on our back line. When our midfield does not perform and our defenders have to continually defend that is when you see his failings.
So, all in all, I am not saying he is a bad player, I am saying he is a solid performer ………. in Division 1.
UTW/FOWB
Morning Colin.
I agree with you mate.
Stearman had built a reputation for being a solid and pretty skillful central defender who was occasionally prone to over indulging and being caught on the ball – with disastrous results.
He has improved that part of his game immensely and last season showed what a good player he could be.
His problem this season has been lack of strength against big, bustling, centre forwards and not getting close enough to his man when crosses come in.
He could certainly do with a bit of bulking up and improving his peripheral vision.
I think he will be OK but there is an argument for bringing Ricketts back for a couple of games.
We know he can do a job and, with his shooting ability, he ‘s always going to be a goal threat.
Changing the subject, does it annoy you as much as it annoys me when you type the word ‘centre’ and the American spell check system underlines it as being a spelling mistake?
Centre Centre Centre Centre Centre Centre Centre Centre Centre Centre Centre Centre Centre Centre Centre Centre Centre Centre Centre Centre Centre Centre Centre Centre Centre Centre
It’s bloody Centre, not center!!!!!!!
I think Clive may argue with you on that one.
When are you and your good lady up next? I feel a beer and a natter coming on, probably centered around the Stearman debate.
We’re up on the weekend of November 22nd for Robert Plant and Nottingham Forest.
I’m also trying to get up before but I’m not sure when yet.
I am certainly intending to make this my final post on our Richard.
S o the left line question is one you can all answer if you wish.
S ome of us (me at least) believe that he is not Premiership quality and
T o be honest I do not believe him to be Championship quality either. If his
E rrors were not so obvious and did not cost us, it would probably not be noticed
A s much. But, sadly, when he makes a mistake, it is usually one that is so
R idiculously basic that it gets questions more intensely. That said Richard is a nice
M an. He is not in the bad press, and I can’t place a time when he has caused any
A nimosity on the pitch or in the dressing room, that has been reported. But, being
N ice, does not necessarily mean he is a class player.
B ut, I am open to comment here, as he cannot be placed amongst our worst
E ver players. I was surprised for example that Christophe Berra got away with
T oo much leniency from referees. Like me expecting Stearman to make a mistake I
T hought it would only be a matter of time before Berra got red carded for his
E vents in the box. I thought I was watching a wrestling match at times. He was
R eally lucky I believe.
T here are loads and loads of players in the defensive role that you could say
H ave played worse than Stearman, and I agree. But they are no longer with us.
A rguably, some of you will disagree with me completely, and I respect that.
N ot everyone has the same opinion as me.
N othing riles me more than a player whose performance is in question, but
A lso one whose ability is in question. I saw Lee Naylor play for us for some time
Y et I cannot recall a match where he had a good game. Now there will be
L oads where he did play well, but not one I saw. Whilst I am saying Stearman is
O bviously not on my rated list, I think he is so much better than Naylor was. My
R ant is over. But who is better than who? Both had/have me awaiting mistakes!
A few typos in there!!!
Not sure criticising Stearman achieves anything other than harm, I’ve seen him have some great games this season. True the recent avalanche of goals against don’t bode well, but its not just down to one player.
Listening to the KP debate on 5 live last night, if there was one thing both Aggers & Steve Harmison could agree on, in the book, it was how shouting at fielders for fumbles, and belittling them did nothing to improve their performance. Indeed it probably made it worse.
Stearman is a good player, he will show it on the training pitch & the mistakes will be ironed out. If they’re not he knows like all the players that he will lose his first team place.
There are options in Ebanks Landell & Ricketts plus the loan market, but its not the time to start jettisoning players who have done well this season & last.
Hard work is the answer, and I think the whole squad have now realised how hard it is going to be this season. They’re up against tough opposition in every team, there are no free games.
I know its hard sometimes but all of our players deserve the utmost support at all times, it will help them rather more than criticising will. After all I think everyone trusts the Manager. He will make changes as he sees it, I don’t think KJ has any favourites.
In my early days following Wolves, I had the privilege to watch the master centre half Frank Munro, wot a player he was. Perhaps my fave of all time, although in that team there were many candidates for fan’s favourite.
You’re quite right Allen, Frankie Munro was the consummate centre half.
A top class player and a top class man.
hear hear. I liked Munro – quality player.
He certainly was, I’ve just got the Waggy penned Frank’s for the Memories, not read it yet as it waits on the pile of other assorted tomes I’ve yet to get round to reading.

Let’s get rid of all of them!

Bollocks. Utter bollocks.
So the lad has had a couple of blips and we’ve let in some goals.

No one appears to be calling for Dicko or Sako’s heads, but aren’t they just as guilty, by missing open goals/sitters etc?
We are less than 25% into a new season, with a bunch of players we would have given our eye teeth for three years ago.

On the centre/center debate, I am 100% in the corner of The Doog.
Many, many times I have had the piss taken, or an attempt thereof, by Americans telling me my spelling or pronunciation is wrong.
The simple answer, which floors them every time, is:
What is the official language of America?….English.
Where am I from? …England.
Therefore I am right. End of.

Let me think now . Mmmm, Stephen Ward, Jamie o’ Hairdo and countless other McCarthy players have left so The Wolverhampton Moaners must have someone to blame . Constructive c iticism can be productive but negativity brings no reward.
I trust Kenny Jackett.

Brill !!! Hovis , Homepride and Allisons must be grinding their teeth !
Who to blame ??
I remember Eddie Clamp missing a penalty against P.N.E in !960 and the game ended 3-3.
We missed out on the double by one point. Did anyone point the finger at Eddie ? No , not in those days. We just accepted it. Burnley won Div. 1 by a point after beating Man City a couple of days after our Cup Final triumph . We thumped Chelsea 5-1 away on the last day of the season ( a week before Wembley) !
Happy days and no sour grapes.
An old man reliving happy times !
I remember it. Eddie Clamp!!!! He would make Vinnie Jones, Chopper Harris, Roy Keen and all seem like pansies.
Guess that’s me told then!!

Stearman for the gallows,
Well, i think we should look at a lot of other scapegoats before putting Stearman in tne dock, the guy plays his heart out every game and the blame cannot lie squarely on his shoulders alone. Danny Bhatt caused two silly penalties and deflected two into his own net, “anyone calling for him to be dropped” ?
Can we hear Danny’s name Noooo
Can we hear Danny’s name Noooo
Can we hear Danny’s name?
I can’t hear a feckin thing,
Noooo oh Noooo
And quite rightly so too, they are both part of the tightest defence we’ve ever seen at the Molineux.
In their defence (excuse the pun), both Kenny Jackett & Danny Bhatt have come out this week and stated, ” a lot of the team have been struggling with a Flu bug this week or so” they didn’t use it as an excuse, just made mention of it. So let’s cut these guys some slack, we’ve moved up a level and are still only 3 points from being outright league leaders.

We are gonna need a bigger boat ( name that movie) than last year anyway.
I see that tosser Chad Evans is being released after serving time for rape, and there are questions whether he should be allowed to play football again.
In my opinion, anyone guilty of rape should be playing falsetto and nothing else, with their nuts well and truly separated from their body.

My scouts tell me that Wolves are having a look at US International striker Juan Agudelo.
Looks quite promising.
Also, Eusebio is off on loan to Cheltenham.
Not quite so sure about that.
It gives him the chance of first team football, but I would have liked to see him given a run out as sub instead of Clarke.
He’s playing tonight at Harlington in a pre-arranged game with QPR so Jackett can get a look at him and some of the fringe players, Kenny thinks we will sign him if he’s ok. He’s playing alongside Sagbo so he should shine like a jewel up an Ewoks Bottom. Kenny has indicated he’s for the first team, not the U21s. (That’s Agudelo, not the Ewok)
Let’s see what develops with this one, Sagbo seems very rusty.
🙂
Agudelo’s fallen from grace quite a bit.. I’m not sure how much better than Sagbo of a signing this would be.
As a USMNT fan, of course I’d love to see him revitalize his career, and what better place than to do it than Wolves but I’m highly skeptical of him being able to compete at this level.
DCWolves
Thanks for that heads up, he’s a relatively unknown entity over here. My take on it is, King Kenny took a group of nobody’s, misfits and no-hopers who couldn’t get regular football in their own clubs and put them in the rigjt pegs, then lo and behold he moulded a reliable team who want to play good football but importantly play as one. So hopefully he can get the best out of Agudelo and turn him into something exciting to watch like the rest of his team.
🙂
I still think our team plays better than England ..
Back to the elusive player …Agudelo ..is he the one?..Sagbo doesn’t look like it..
KJ has moulded a team I grant you but we would all be incredibly lucky if he could bring in a single prolific player out of the bag too ..particularly from unknown land….that would be Godlike..
A Steve Bull ..a John Richards would be nice..! are we due another one?
I reckon we will have to buy big time and I feel that we will have to soon to get us up into the premier ..
I’m personally coming to terms that we might not make the top two which underlines the thought that we probably will have to buy us back there……inevitable ?
It’s all down to money then..
I’m not so sure that it’s all about buying your way out. We tried it before and left us with prima donas.
We nearly landed Andy Delort at £3, however he’s not exactly worked for Wigan although he may have worked in KJ’s system better, unfortunately or fortunately we will never know.
Getting trialists and loan players is the ideal way to find the “one”. You give them 5 games to see how they blend and help the team. If it does not work out, then off they go and we look at someone else.
Maybe there is a Steve Bull godlike out there, maybe he’s one of the youth players just waiting to shine.
Maybe it’s the formation itself that asks too much for a loan striker as KJ himself is relying on goals from the rest of the team. A loan striker just may never be prolific in this type of role. Spending £3m, £5m or £10m may just be a gamble too far.
We’re still only 3 points off being top of the pile with a quarter of the season now gone and Sagbo is finding his feet, as his only real start before ours was 1 cup game. Once match sharp and once he understands his role in the team we “could” be looking at a gem.
Then as you mention Agudelo, he really does fit KJ’s profile as he’s another player that his name ends in “O”. (The songs down at the Mol will all be quite uniform as they will all have same ring to them.)
And of course, if we are looking to splash a bit of cash on players ending in O, there is that bloke from some team in Madrid who seems to be wanting a move.
They tell me he has scored a goal or two……………..
I’m not holding my breath on this agudelo guy. QPR put out a half decent team against the U21s but we’ve heard nothing of the game. The only reports were from the QPR site, this tells me the reporter ssaw nothing exciting. Was hoping for something by not but not even the Negative press thethat is the Expressionless Star has said nowt.
On another topic highlighted by Steve Showcase, we certainly play better than the England U21s, 23000 there doing our bit and it was like watching a mudslide on a dry day. Won’t be subjecting my Grandsons to that again, Wolves are far more entertaining to watch.
Got my tickets for Millwall & , roll on Saturday.
