Tonight’s extortionately priced programme harked back to some of our international conquests of old.
Racing Club of Buenos Aires, Maccabi Tel Aviv, Moscow Spartak and, most famously, Honved are just some of the teams that have been vanquished under the Molineux floodlights.

Tonight’s opponents, having made only a short trip from Belfast, were never likely to bring the same glamour to our first European contest in 39 years.
But with Molineux raucous by kick-off, everyone was clearly delighted to welcome in the new season.
Sadly, the occasion didn’t live up to its billing.
Despite the strength of our starting eleven, we struggled to break down opponents that, for all their commitment and organisation, were clearly limited.
The build-up play was certainly as neat as ever, but Nuno’s side often overcomplicated things when attempting to break Crusaders’ resistance.
After close to 40 minutes of huffing and puffing, a breakthrough eventually came thanks to a usual suspect.
Diogo Jota lashed home an excellent cross from Adama Traore and Molineux breathed a collective sigh of relief.
More frustration ensued in the second half, as the boys in old gold made little of their dominance in possession.
Even the introduction of our fabled number nine did little to change proceedings, something which no doubt caused those in the away end to begin fantasising about a famous cup upset in next week’s reverse fixture.
Thankfully, Sean O’Neill’s calamity keeping in injury time left any such notion looking like a pipe dream at best.
An otherwise disappointing Ruben Vinagre punished the stopper’s spillage and tucked home our second of the night, giving the scoreline a more accomplished look.
2-0 should be enough to see us through to another not-so-glamorous qualifier, but on tonight’s evidence we’ll need to sharpen up our attacking play against stronger opposition.
Aside from being back at Molineux, Traore’s performance was the undoubted highlight of this fixture.
He looks more focused than last season and is starting to use the ball more intelligently. I genuinely felt sorry for Crusaders’ left back, who had a torrid time keeping up with our buccaneering Spaniard. If he can maintain tonight’s form, he’ll be like a new signing.
On the subject of new recruits, hopefully we’ll start welcoming some in the next few days.
That being said, I’m fairly relaxed with what I’ve seen so far in pre-season and the fact I’m even writing a report about a Wolves European fixture is enough for me to sit back and enjoy the ride while it lasts.

Good write up mate, watched the game on TV we hugged and puffed but you got to remember it’s like a friendly match still, things looking good couple of new recruits and top four no problem ha ha
We’re not good at breaking teams down – I think that has long been established.
For me, this is when Nuno’s ‘we have an idea, we don’t change’ methodology looks a bit questionable because his idea is primarily focused on restricting opposition who want to attack and breaking at pace.
As you suggest in the report Ben, the only time we looked remotely threatening was when Traore had the ball or Jota got on the half-turn. We needed to be quicker and more direct instead of just endlessly recycling possession.
If you’re playing a Premier League game against a side who want to sit deep but have the quality to break, fair enough, but this was a Conference standard outfit that had little to no intention of crossing the halfway line – at least drop the extra midfielder and play with a front three. Although saying that, we probably don’t have the personnel to make it work.
I’m glad to see we’re bringing this lad in from Real Madrid, but we need 2 or 3 attackers to provide different options, even if they’re operating in the 352 at all times.
All of the above said…
– It’s difficult for any team to break down two banks of five defending the width of their penalty area.
– If we treat it as a pre-season game it was a good exercise for sharpening up.
– The job got done.
Great blog Ben x
Yep, agree absolutely Thomas. It looked like the same old same old from last season to me.
As you say, last season when we were faced with any team that set out their stall to defend and little more, then we struggled to break them down. In fact invariably we didn’t and last night’s performance looked like more of the old story to me.
Ok, so it’s still July, but against that we were facing pretty lowly opposition and still we couldn’t see them off until we got the latest of late goals to give the scoreline an element of respectability.
Let’s hope that we can overcome this Achilles heel of ours. We’re going to need to if we’re going to seriously challenge for a top six place in the PL.
Great blog as usual? we always seem to struggle against these team’s who come and sit deep behind the ball yes 2-0 should be enough so if we score one at there’s they will need to score four! So job all but done.
We looked good on the ball going forward with Traore MOTM but MGW looked a bit off the pace great goal by jota
And a bit of fortune for the vinagre goal but will take it.
Come on you wolves ?
Watching the match via live streaming was as hit and miss as our performance.
Tried Hesgoal but it was buffering continually, so found another Youtube pirate version, which had a Geordie commentator who kept asking for donations so we could watch the team in ‘orange’ for free in future, and disappeared at half time, presumably when they’d screwed enough ‘donations’ from some unfortunate suckers.
Back to Hesgoal for the rest of the match.
Not much to say really apart from the fact that we still cannot break down teams that are committed to defence .
But then again Man Citeh have trouble doing that, as we all witnessed last week.
Credit to Crusaders for making it difficult for us.
Traore looked pretty good and the only time he fell over, he got straight back up again and beat another two men.
And the one piece of true class was Diogo Jota’s goal. Great build up and superb finish.
A bit worried about Neves, who looked in a bit of trouble when he hobbled off.
Job done? Not quite but, plastic pitch notwithstanding, we should be OK for the return.
Thought their keeper did well up to his spill & they defended very stoutly. But hey we won against, yes, probably the weakest opposition we’ll face all season long. So it’s all positive.
Thought Dendonker was great, he filled in the Neves role really well when Neves went off.
Plastic pitch at their ground I heard Tim Spiers say? That could prove tricky .
How much was that programme? £5?
Had a thought of how tough it is going to be on the players to compete at such a high level Thursday & then a Sunday. Then there’s the Cups.
Think also it’s a sign of how far Wolves have come in the last 2 Fosun years that Bonatini, Miranda, Costa, Cavaleiro, Mir are no longer good enough for the first team. Once a player has shown he can’t cut it at the highest level Nuno bins them.
The only qualification to that is youth, which is why he’s developing Gibbs-White. He had some good possession last night and showed good touches. Getting into a couple of goalscoring positions. He just needs more game time I think. Hopefully he’ll get that in the Europa.
Up the Wolves and onwards & upwards.
I thoroughly enjoyed what was served up last night from my privileged perch up in the Stan Cullis directly behind the goals. I don’t know what kind of view others have (apart from Doog, having watched the Armenia game earlier on on Hesgoal) but I enjoyed that.
FFS we’re back in Europe, 3 years after Div 1, we beat a team that spent 90% of the game in their half. Two goals in our first game back in Europe, a pre-season without a single goal against, Jesus Vallejo sitting in the stands with George, (I saw the photo of him) names we used to dream of waiting to come in and Nuno with a tear in his eye post match on how proud he was.
Rant over, well almost.
It is well known on here that I am Vinagre’s biggest fan, well not being biased, but I thought he had a good game, Nay a great game. It certainly went back up a gear when he took to the stage, considering he’s not a regular he slotted in seamlessly.
Some of those passes from our midfield will be sharper with each passing week. If, if, if again, if only some of those balls that were targeted at out forwards, had not struck a players knee, foot, hand, back then we would have surely been 5 or 6 up, goals do make the difference no doubt, ( but management are working on that) but let’s get real on the football, it was slick, silky and much better than last years football at this stage, but come on guys, we are back in Europe and we won 2 nil against a 10 man wall. It could have and should have been a lot more but for some heroics from their Keeper who ended up pantomime villain after doing so well all game. I bet Jota for one wished he hadn’t been in goal last night.
I’m in Belfast next week with my Grandson, Jen de Wolf and Mr & Mrs Lowves, So all in all I’m a happy bunny.
No tickets to be had for my Grandson and Jen de Wolf, but I managed to get two off the Crusaders site at the 11th hour. Life is good.
Come on boys and girls, your’e actually saying, “your slightly disappointed we only won 2-0 in a European game, that’s how far we have come in three years”. So chin up, best foot forwards and on to Belfast.
Plastic pitch, we’ve got one of those at the training ground, narrow pitch, we bear Crystal Palace on their narrow pitch.
I understand what you guys are saying about how difficult it is to score against a team that “parks the lorry” but why do other teams not seem to have such a dismal time against similar teams?
Do the top 6 teams perform that poorly against such teams? Do the 8th through 12th teams?
I don’t think so. So it is incumbent upon Nuno and his coaching staff to figure out why other teams can win consistently against these teams and Wolves cannot.
We have some very good players playing in the top half of the pitch, Internationals and budding superstars.
I don’t want to see a repeat of last year where we through away 10 points to these types of teams.
Incidentally, I think the commentator said that their wages were 80,000.00 / season. That is about 1,000th of Wolves wages.
throw away.
Yes, Tim, top teams do have that problem. Twice last season Man City only just struggled past much inferior opposition in the FA cup. I suggest that you check out the Newport and Swansea games. I agree though that we do need some more attacking options with a mobile attacking midfielder being a priority. For all his faults Cav provided this option and regularly looked dangerous when coming off the bench.
We will have more chance of a big score next week
Crusaders will kick off and do what ?
Sit back ,, I don’t think so as there is no point, we are winning 2-0 and their fans will rightly expect them to have a go , that’s when we will finish the job
I wouldn’t be surprised if the aggregate score is 5 or 6-1 with all due respect to our friends from across the pond
Love watching Traore though and think ( hope) this could be a massive year for him
Utw
As I predicted 2.0 to Wolves and said this was not going to be a walk in the park and we struggled to break them down. They were always going to park the bus because they knew they couldn’t match us if the played end to end football.
It’s big concern because it shows we have not managed to find away to beat teams who do that, we have not found a solution as Nuno would say to combat these teams and that could be the difference between a top six finish or a top ten finish plus the glaringly obviouse fact we need to sign those players that can do that.
This is my worry, Nuno single mindedness is great, but you also need to be flexible and adapt to over come these type of teams….it looks like he hasn’t on last night showing.
Fair play to Crusaders they done there home work on us what’s worrying is so will the rest of the Premier League teams espeacilly the lower half. We haven learnt the lessons from last season.
Don’t worry Paul
Nuno is onto it
Jesus is having a medical at Molineux as we speak
Utw
Great read as ever Ben.
In order to breaks teams down that sit in, we need a technically gifted 10 that can either thread that final ball through, or drift in behind. Neves plays the deeplying playmaker role, while Moutinho is more of a ‘floater’ that wants to be that link between Neves and the 10. I love Donck’s all-action displays but when the onus is on us to break teams down, he can be slightly redundant, as there’s not that space for him to attack, we don’t need him to stifle breaks, and he’s not creative enough on the ball. Neves was really probing until he went off injured, and we certainly missed him.
Traore MOTM. He was a real pleasure to watch. He seems to have learned when it’s on to attack and when to play it safe. If Traore can keep improving that composure, while maintaining his explosiveness, Doc has some serious competition at RWB.
Still not convinced by MGW. Too often he makes the wrong decision, can’t keep hold of the ball or wastes a chance. I know I’m sounding super critical but his end product and decision making has to approve if he wants to be anywhere near the starting line-up.
Anyway, that second goal makes things comfortable going over to Belfast next week. I could get used to these European nights…
Well said Paddy my thoughts entirely.
Thanks Paddy, appreciated.
Agree on all your points. I think MGW is a great prospect but needs to improve his end product. Still plenty of time for him to do that mind. I’d like an alternative in the number 10 role though.
Hopefully this week will see us begin to pick up pace in the market. I’m still expecting 3-4 quality additions.
I can’t let the passing of one of the greats, who appeared in one of the greatest scenes in one of the great films, go without a mention.
“I’ve seen things you people wouldn’t believe.
Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion.
I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhäuser Gate.
All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain.
Time to die.”
R.I.P. Rutger Hauer.
will watch Blade Runner tonight in his honour….R.I.P Rutger.
He will be up there in the stars gazing at the belt of Orion.
We’ve played three pre season friendlies.
We’ve scored six goals.
We’ve not let one in.
We’ve got new faces on the horizon.
We’ve got nothing to worry about!!
Since football was invented, the underdogs always rise to the occasion and play out of their skin, and last night followed the usual pattern.
Next week, they will be bollixed, already two down, knowing they have to come out and score three to win, and knowing we are one of the best counter attacking teams in the land.
Brown shorts time, methinks!
If we carry on this average of two goals per game, and non conceded, all season, I will be a very happy bunny!
Dr. Nuno knows what he’s doing, and knows what needs to be done.
I ay skeered!!
The Europa League games are friendlies?
All great comments- not too worried in view of us still going through pre-season and only just flew back from China with the cup! Full credit to Crusaders who were very well organised and our lads for putting in a major shift on a red hot night. Adama was brilliant and did MGW get in the way of his left foot rocket which would have brought the house down if it had gone in? MGW is trying too hard and out of position, missed the Docs one-twos which I believe would have got behind and turned the defence. Pleased to see Diogo looking sharp. Only one gripe- card only purchases at the bar left a lot of us thirsty on a very hot night!
Wolves are bringing in some guy named Jesus with no option to buy. Wasn’t that the deal with Jonny, too?
Once he gets here and sees what we have, he may be asking to be sold to us.
With us playing liquid football, and Jesus being able to walk on water, it would appear to be a match made in heaven!
Just hope the water don’t get through the holes in his feet, and he sinks!!
I just wanted to say what a fab time that me and Sue had with the Crusaders fans yesterday. We stayed in The Premier Inn next to The Blue Brick pub which is the designated pub for away fans. I wasn’t sure whether to wear a Wolves shirt as there must have been over 100 of them outside. I spoke to a policeman outside the hotel and he said don’t worry they are great. And he was right. The picture below is of me and Wes. He is one of the 50 or so who go home and away. He introduced me to the club secretary and some of their main lads who were all brilliant. We compared notes about rivalries – theirs is Cliftonville and when I mentioned West Brom, I don’t think he had heard of them. He also mentioned watching Irish football during the troubles when fans actually got shot ffs ! I told him all about the blog and he was going to have a look. If any of you lucky enough to get a ticket for the away leg see this bloke, have a word as he is great. And Wes, if you see this , thank you for yesterday, it was great meeting some brilliant away fans. One last thing, they were over the moon to draw a massive club like Wolves simply for the payday. This is what football should be about.
Took the grandson last night to his first Wolves match. To say it was a mixed night for him was an understatement. I have not seen a look of so much joy when Diogo scored virtually right in front of us. i thought a 9 year old was about to have a heart attack. Then in the second half after about 15 mins. he said ” i’m bored granddad is this the best they can do?”
Tried to explain the theory of teams “parking the bus” without much success, but he was a very happy bunny when the winner went in. In all not a bad night for his first game.
As far as my impressions went like most observers I think we fiddled a bit too much in midfield and should have been a lot more direct, but Nuno can only use the tools he has. Class direct goalscorers are hard to find and don’t come cheap, just hope Uncle Jorge is on the lookout for one.
I agree with Ben on the extortionate price of the programme, if that’s the norm for this season I for one will do without. Also noticed a rather large increase in prices of burgers and hotdogs. Price of success I suppose.
One other thing about last night was the awful tannoy system which seems to have got worse from last season’s not very good. In the upper level of the Stan Cullis we could hear nothing but garbles during the half time interview with Mel Eves and Willie Carr. Please get this sorted Wolves, I don’t think it’s rocket science!
Totally agree about the tannoy, could the interviewer’s voice have been part of the problem, or maybe get her a better quality mike.
Agree pigeon she was a waste of space could not hear the two legends Mel and Willie. travelling home next day listening to talk sport found out she reports for them.Bri ng back Steve Daly.
I have concern regarding MGW The guy clearly has much potential, but is he over-awed by what he thinks we all expect from him, so that he is trying too hard ? ?
In my humble opinion he is not yet ready for the rigors of the Premiership. We may well reap the most benefit from him over the longer term if he is loaned out now, so that by getting regular full games he can develop his talent away from the spotlight.
I agree, MGW trying too hard to justify Nunos faith in him- I think he sees Morgan as a natural successor to Moutinho in a couple of seasons. Nuno probably won’t want him out on loan preferring to continually coach the skills needed and we are threadbare in terms of quality midfield replacements. Looking forward to the promised new additions- Wolves approach of quality over quantity has served us well thus far- contrast this to Fulham last year and the Villa currently who have adopted a game of Monopoly type acquisitions which will upset team unity and how do you keep 10 new players happy? A recipe for disaster.
Third kit?
If you’re a keeper maybe.
Clever move by the club if it’s true.
Mexican colours.
Lots of potential Wolves fans in Mexico.
I had yesterday and today off so I was in Wolvo for about 2pm yesterday. First stop Jack’s Bar over the road from dual carriageway back of Homebase. Couple more in Wheatsheaf. Disco on in beer garden. Then a tour about. By the time I got to Molineux I was in a ‘happy’ frame of mind. I can’t remember much about the match. But it was hot. Crues were putting up a massive rearguard and well done to them. Just as 5 days earlier we did the same to Man City. That is the beauty of football. Huge resources and talent against stubborn resistance. Same in both games. Fact is we will complete the job and move on to other tests. It is a valid viewpoint regarding how we play against defensive sides. We saw that time and again last season. But I think we have evolved since then and will continue to do so. Brilliant day yesterday. Massive hangover this morning. But hey! Who gives a shit. We are Wolves and everything is pointing to a further assent towards the summit of English football. We are becoming both an irresistible force and immovable object. It can only mean one thing.
Cheesey,
We have been in Wolves for the past couple of days, would love to meet up with you sometime mate.
Well I am meeting up with the legendary Clive in the weekend before the Man Utd game at the Novotel Wolvo for some silly Black Country banter and beer drinking. Come along to that and beer will flow! WOLVES AY WE!
I will be there too Cheesy.
See ya there old pal.
Imagine…
4 weeks holiday forget everything.
Go back, couple of training sessions off to China.
Not only play a few games in stifling heat but also market the club.
Total culture shock…
Fly back to Wolverhampton with 72 hours to adapt from jet-lag, before Europa game.
No wonder they were not on the best of form.
It’s pre-season, like it or not…
Ruben Neves is the fulcrum of the team, let’s hope his ribs are okay.
More worrying than the display against Crusaders, who more or less replicated our shape, against Man City!
We won & that was the main thing. I think the travelling affected the lads a bit plus also the heat, I was sweltered just sitting there so dread to think what it was like on the pitch.
Sounding like new signings will be announced next couple of days. Also hoping Neves is ok, did look a nasty knock.
Wolves have confirmed that abdominal tests on Neves have indicated no significant damage.
Jesus Vallejo, centre back from Real Madrid confirmed on Wolves website for season long loan.
Expecting Partick Cutrone for Medical tomorrow and talk of a Spanish player playing in Croatia.
If these two are factual, we’re certainly strengthening the squad with quality.
Cutrone was voted 4rh best young player in Europe not too long ago.
He has that much potential.
That’s what Wolves do – take advantage of these kinds of situations.
That’s why we can’t predict ahead of time who they will sign.
First one in the bag…

Fair play to The Crusaders who defended resolutely and with great coached skill. O’Rourke, the left back did as well as any premier player would have done against the attacking Traore in formidable form; wish he could hit a target forward more accurately with his crosses though.
MGW, as I said the other day, in my opinion, is a good player who would benefit from a season on loan playing regularly. He does good things but, under pressure his touch is not up to the standard of those with whom he plays in my opinion. Great player but not quite there yet.
The quality of the final ball and our shooting skills were down on where they need to be apart from Jota’s goal, but, I’m sure these will be worked upon.
All top teams seem to struggle against very well coached defensive set ups like this; and we have gained from such tactics in the past ourselves. Winning two nil against such a good defensive set up and a set of hard working lads, who were a credit to their side was okay.
I would like us to go three up front in the return with Jonny at Right wing back and Vinagre on the left flank. I’d like to see Traore in the front three with Mgw dropping out. I would have liked to have held on to Cav, but heck, he needs more games at his age…
No apologies for sharing this wonderful little lads magical moment…
I know how he feels.

Reading stuff about Patrick Cultrone being ‘bewildered’ he is back in Europe. He shouldn’t worry. There are loads of things to keep him happy in the Black Country. Here we go: 1. Lots of people in the Black Country now have colour TV. 2. We also have indoor bogs. 3. Most houses have a roof on. 4. Even the homeing pigeons are happy to come back to Tipton. 5. We have a scrap metal bloke who goes around with his van so any old bath or pipes are easily disposed of. 6. We have a museum. A place of interest should Patrick want to entertain his bird. 7. We have a zoo which has lots of flamingo’s. 8. We were featured on Most Haunted and a bloke buried himself in a makeshift coffin for a week in the grounds of Dudley Castle 9 . We have oss racing and Patrick can av a bet. 10. We have a Novotel with the legendary Clive in it (in August). If Patrick doe like all that there is summat wrong wi I’m. Milan / Wolverhampton. What the fuck ?
Great write up Ben !
This was written Friday morning and posted on a Facebook group. Whilst there was a lot of agreement, I was surprised at the amount of negative comments about MGW. He came in for an awful lot of criticism following Thursday night’s game, which I thought was incredibly harsh.
Summary from last night.
It was very “ Summery “ ?
Molineux looked awesome.
It was very warm and humid.
We won.
We didn’t concede.
No serious injuries – although Neves went to hospital as a precaution after a knock in his side.
Jesus Vallejo was at the game and went to
congratulate the team at full time – looks like he will be signing on loan for the season.
If we score one goal in the second leg, Crusaders will need to score 4.
Crusaders acquitted themselves superbly.
They played 2 banks of 5 sat deep for most of the game.
We had 80% possession and 30 shots to 1.
Traore was unplayable at times. No one in a Wolves shirt had a poor game. It’s hard to play against a team with virtually no attacking intent, sat deep. We did ok – some of our build up play was too slow – when we zipped quick incisive passes around with a lot of movement we looked very dangerous. We did need to be more accurate in front of goal and all that’s missing from Traore‘s game is a little more of a killer instinct when he has a chance on goal but their number 15 must’ve had a sleepless night last night seeing Adama going past him time and again in his nightmares.
All in all a night of far more positives than negatives. So two or three more quality signings assuming Vallejo is confirmed and keep working on how to score against teams sat deep.
Well done lads !
Is Vallejo just cover for the defense or is he going to replace one of them for the most part?
Is he loaned out instead of bought because they couldn’t agree to a valuation for him?
Were Wolves weary of agreeing to buy him because of his recent injury record and want to see how this season goes?
Apparently, he has a problem with crosses but he seems to get some height.
I think he will have to earn his place. That seems to be the norm and quite right too.
He signed a 6 year contract with Real Madrid before the loan was agreed. They see him as one for their future and he’s more likely to get first team games with us this season, plus a season in the premier league will make him more rounded.
jesus has a problem with crosses ????
So did Dracula but he got over it.
If he has a problem with crosses it will be all over by Easter.
Brilliant we now have Jesus playing for us. It is absolutely fantastic. For the last two there has been divine intervention. The magic has been in the air. Look forward to the headline ‘Jesus saves Wolves’ and all that stuff. There was always a chap who stood outside the Saracens Head Dudley who looked a bit like Jesus. Maybe this is a sign..,
Now we have the full set ….first we had God in the shape of Nuno……now we have Jesus….soon be at the cathedral to worship again every other week…..unless a bolt of lightning takes me!!!
Heaven forbid!!
A trip to Belfast with the StuWolf is hazardous enough Shirley.
I’ve told you to stop calling me Shirley unless I have my blonde wig and high heels on!!
Thought you lived in Wolverhampton
I do, but I like a trip to Kinky occasionally ( it’s on the A41 just before Handsworth) it makes me appreciate even more living in God’s own city!
Looks like we might have got Cutrone from Milan, if true a great piece of business. Only three years ago we were signing the likes of Joe Mason from Cardiff.
Oh how times have changed.
Onwards & Upwards
Still cor believe it. We are very blessed to have truly ambitious owners. And I think from looking at Jeff’s comments a few weeks back in which he said Wolves are a ‘special’ thing and are not for sale. Our horizons are truly cosmic. What a special bond we have now. Chinese owners who love us and want to make us great. A manager who loves us. Players who love us. Fans who love the owners/manager/players/team. I want to pay respect to Fosun. They have never disrespected the fans. The manager or players. They have truly embraced our tradition. Indeed the welcome party in Shanghai even had a massive banner ‘out of darkness cometh light’ . Strap yourselves in folks. We are heading for the Cosmos!
Just been checking out Patrick Cutrone. We’ll need to supply balls into the 6 yard box as that’s where he gets the majority of his goals; Gerd Mulleresque! Decent header too, it seems. Now for that mobile attacking midfielder with an eye for a goal!
Seem to remember a certain John Richards who scored a few for us inside the six yard box.
If the new bloke does as well as JR he will be ok.
By the way, did I tell you I met John Richards?
You don’t need to.
HE’S never stopped mentioning the fact that he met Cloive from ‘Ouston!
I believe that is what Nuno has been preparing Traore to do, putting the crosses in ……. now I understand lol.
Welcome to the Mol PC.
Iv always wanted us to stay at Molineux but I can’t deny looking at the plans for Evertons new stadium got me thinking!!!!!!!
They can give me a 9carat gold plated stadium anywhere and I would still say we should stay where we are.
Its our spiritual home …end of.
Looking forward to our trip starting tomorrow with the Stuwolfs staying in Scotland tomorrow night, ferry, match and hotel in Belfast Thursday, driving home Friday.
Lets hope the next leg is in Czech Republic , Armenia’s a bugger to get to
Yep I get it lowves
Hope you all had a great trip
Well jealous
Utw
Told you before, Marney, thinking is dangerous!!
Haha
It is if you’re using my brain Clive that’s for sure
Utw
Oh my days.
Oh my God.
First a Real Madrid player.
Now Patrick Cutrone.
Who’s next then Nuno?
How I miss Moxey…
One Patrick Cutrone there’s only one Patrick Cutrone…..
Deal done … Wolves ay we…. seismic org@@m….
Thank you Fosun….. my oh my how we are going to go for a top 6 place this year…..
Lets go where the music takes us, bring it on Mike.
Hiya Barry… I went into the north bank bar on Thursday last week looking for the legend… yes YOU….
Couldn’t see you mate…. but hey….
I’ll be on the lookout for you on the v Man Utd night mate…. 19th I think…
I’ll be dragging Clive f H along….
I was in the Leaping Wolf across the road, NBB as gone cashless and it opened hour and half late and I only had cash on me.
They tell me the new caterers have a lot to learn.
I will text you for the Mancs game to see where you and Clive are drinking. I think the NBB is history, Forum not to bothered about selling beer.
Forum FfS, Forsum.
For all you Jonny foreigners, the match is on Wolves tv tomorrow.
Yea, there’s a bit of good news. Hesgoal is OK in an emergency, but I do get fed up with it keep stopping. Hopefully all the Europa away legs will be on there too, until I get home at least.
Patrick is ready to leave Wolves fans all mouths agape with his Cutro-mask celebration.
Looks like he’s getting over his initial surprise at being forced out of AC Milan.
Gutted. Match not on hesgoal.com tonight. BBC text here I come. Got my ST in post today though.
You only got to go a few miles North and you will be in Sconny Botland!
Therefore technically overseas so you should be able to get the game on Wolves tv, like wot I can!
Watching it on hesgoal now Steve ?
Thx buddy. Was not showing on the list earlier. Watching now.
I am watching match in Monty’s Sedgley. A plastic pitch. Like most Villa fans. Plastic that is. And erm……. Plastic Bertrand new wave French popster from about 1978/79. He went ‘ ca plane pour moi’ or summat. I have the single on bright red vinyl or something like that. Plastic is also closely aligned to fans of Liverpool and Manure. Won’t be long before we gategrash their cosy cartel and send them packing to join the Shadow Dwellers down the A41. To our friends in Belfast tonight it’s curtains for your European tour. So it is .
