I’m still trying to land on the most disappointing thing about this poxy defeat.
It might have been Carl Ikeme’s butter fingers that presented another toothless away side with a precious lead to cling onto.
Or it could be allowing David Davis the freedom of Molineux to spank in a second and mercilessly taunt the South Bank.
Or simply our one-paced midfield making David Davis look like Roy Keane.
Then again maybe it was our meagre attempts to cash in against ten men after Paul Robinson was rightly dismissed for being Paul Robinson.
Or perhaps our distribution out of defence and Danny Batth’s endless hoofs forward to nobody in particular.
It’s difficult to overlook Helder Costa’s repeatedly over hit crosses that robbed Wolves of any momentum in the early exchanges or his subsequent hour long vanishing act.
And we mustn’t forget yet another goalless game for Bodvarsson whose beginning to make Bjorn Sigurdarson look prolific by comparison.
How about Nouha Dicko, who did finally score, but still looks bored, uninterested and five yards off the pace?
Maybe it’s the manager, who promised so much in January but has delivered literally nothing in February.
Yes, it could be the naked statistics that show five defeats in a row for the month with just two goals scored in the process.
And the fact three of those defeats came against three of the worst teams in the division.
Actually, it’s probably none of those things.
It’s more the realisation that we’ve relinquished £25 million in transfer fees and ended up with a worse team than we had last season.
All this made worse still knowing that the owners, the academy, the stadium, the fan base and everything else you need to be successful are all there and it’s simply the case that the people in power are demonstrating a gross inability to just connect the dots.
I’m not stupid enough to expect instant success in such a competitive environment, but surely – surely – we can expect better than this?
Disappointing would be an understatement.

Lambert is not liked. Can`t see him with us next season or even before.
The strange thing for me is that Lambert doesn’t seem to see what the fans see.
I think the defence could stand up and hold their own if he picked the right players and kept to a regular line up.
The midfield could and should have been good enough to old its own, had he have picked the right players and not loaned out one of them.Prince and Saiss would have been more than capable in my view, if they had been given a chance to play regularly.Instead we pick the two donkeys Evans(the 3 and a half year contract man) or Saville along with Price and get what you ask for, overrun in midfield and no creativity.
The striker could and should have been addressed in January.Sam Winnall for example was available at a mere £750000 he is 26 and has scored 45 goals in 84 appearances for Barnsley.
So the remedies were there, we just haven’t taken them on board. No team can hope to win regularly when their strikers never score, and their midfield create nothing.
There seems now to be no plan, no tactics,no football, just lump it forward run and hope for the best.Anyone could manage the team to play the way they are presently playing.
We are where we are because of inept management, which includes Lambert and Thelwell, in fact they are now making Zenga look good.Just how much longer can we go on like this.
UTW
I Agree on your views on Prince and Saiss. Lambert should study how to break down sitting teams, because we’re the 3rd or 4th weakest team in the league at home.
The difference in performance is the strange thing for me. What is going on in the background?!?
They won because they wanted it more, no doubt about that. When that is said: Welcome back Dicko!! And Costa got another assist.
Wolves still have some unused cards on their hands which I think could make a difference. One of these cards are Jordan Graham.
The other unused card is Saiss. His long and accurate passes have the ability to open up the passages on the wings. Unfortuneately for him Saville is rated higher by Lambert, it seems. But he should get his chances if the poor results continues.
Turbulence reported within: http://www.sportsmole.co.uk/football/wolves/news/lambert-wolves-pair-have-let-down-club_292544.html
The cull needs to start with Thelwell then lambert and the coaching staff Mountain Edwards and Daley been here too long. Then the playing staff of course need to be changed. A clean sweep is required now its too comfortable for too many people on the playing staff. Let’s not forget 3 managers have now tried with these coaches and players. They simply aren’t good enough. Of course then there’s the issue of half this lot have been resigned to longer contracts.. You couldn’t make this stuff up.. I truly believe Fosun and Big Jeff really do not have a clue.
On another note if we renew our ticket and reach 16500 by May 31st do we still get our refund if we get relegated ?
The Wolves way is back and our fans interpretation of the manager who rightly must take this result on the chin..
We could all spend hours debating this and that but to simplify things to Fosun we haven’t good enough players who are consistent ..
Our tactics overall are better but Lamberts job is now hanging by a string..
Imo any owners / Manager will ALLWAYS rebuild from the back..
Our Captain is truly abominable and needs replacing..
We need a driving midfielder (prob captain)
We need two or three superb strikers..
Overall to me we simply concede shit loads
and our strikers are not good enough and miss chances..
We carry a Wolves (historic) curse and this result proves it..we can beat the best and then loose to the worst..
We are Wolves..Fosun please change this torture..
Why he persists with the loan ranger up front for a full 90 mins and its now 2 games in a row he hasn’t brought Bright on – has he too fallen foul of Lambert ?
Something’ untoward is going on in the background I’m sure.
I’m not a fan of football managers who base their assessment on statistics because I really don’t care how many 3 yard passes were completed or how many yards someone ran. But if Lambert wants to go down that route, here are the statistics that matter.
Lambert: 18 points from 16 games (1.125)
Zenga: 16 points from 14 games (1.143)
Saunders: 20 points from 16 games (1.25)
Solbakken: 31 points from 26 games (1.192)
Statistically worse than Zenga, Saunders and Solbakken. But of course you can prove anything with facts so also I choose to believe my own eyes (however painful that may be). Workhorses retained and given ludicrous contract extensions, talented footballers overlooked or shipped out. More mediocrity recruited in January. Tactically, typified by the Wigan game: Short pass to the nearest defender, short pass to the nearest defender/keeper, hoof aimless high ball to no-one in particular, run around a bit to try to regain possession and repeat. Lambert keeping faith with 6 or 7 players that got us relegated in 2012-13 and only bringing in players (Marshall and Weimann) of similar limited ability is playing a brand of the beautiful game that is every bit as ugly as witnessed under Saunders and even less effective. He only has himself to blame. How is he (and after this how is Thelwell) still in a job?
A few things have become apparent to me over the last few weeks.
1) Long aimless balls upfield are useless when Dicko is the target.
Obvious ‘cos he’s a little chap.
Long aimless balls are useless when Jon Dadi is the target.
Not so immediately obvious until you watch what happens. He’s a big chap but, when it comes to jumping, it’s as if his feet have been nailed to the Molineux turf.
In all the times I’ve watched him, he has never threatened to out jump a defender.
Ergo, forget the long aimless balls upfield.
2) Since Costa has been bought, and presumably put on a large contract, he has played like every other useless winger we’ve had in the last few years.
3) Kenny Jackett is the best, and most successful, manager we’ve had since Mick was in his pomp and should have been given a chance to operate under the new regime.
4) Paul Lambert may talk the talk (if you can understand what he’s saying) but he is certainly not walking the walk (apart from in the pedestrian way the side is playing).
5) We are basically pretty crap.
6) We are going to be lucky to avoid relegation.
7) Perhaps we bloggers ought to forget supporting Wolves, it’s just too distressing, and come up with something else we all have in common that we can talk about.
My interests are going to live music gigs, digging ponds and flower arranging.
The PMDG’er is into domination and mole strangling.
Any other suggestions?
We’ve got racoons in our roof (and moles in the garden) – could Mrs PMDG’er pop over…?
She’s on her way!
So that’s why you’re a Wolves fan DG. You’re into submission.
Permission more like …!!!
Yeah, dig a fuckin’ big pond and bury the whole organization it it!!!
No matter how good the bleeding pond was, with the Wolves team in it there’s no way it could hold water.
I must admit things have got so bad I too have wondered whether I should forget supporting Wolves ! The problem is there doesn’t seem to be anyone at all in the squad who can raise fans’ enthusiasm, they’ve all become so lack lustre. Hoh hum, Huddersfield next – we’ll need Williamson fit to play for that one.
Its not live but it was when it was recorded.

A great band.
The Last Waltz is still one of my favourite films.
You closet Englebert fan, you!!
Yes doogooder you are on money
I know me and you were the the Kenny jackett appreciation society but here is a question for the rest of you
What has the exceptional Kenny jackett
The charismatic Walter Zenga and the highly experienced Paul Lambert got in common?
Ans
Ikeme
Ba’ath
Saville
Stearman
Edwards
( I’m protecting Matt Doherty and Dicko as I rate them )
I’m not saying that they are bad players as they have all had good games in a wolves shirt but they need to be phased out and replaced as soon as possible
I have a pond that needs a rebuild and relining, like Wolves…
Any help would be appreciated
Cavaleiro on the left, Helder Costa nr 10, Jordan Graham on the right. I think we’re gonna witness a strong finish from wolves. Mason is also on his way back.
Lambert will be gone PDQ unless something dramatic happens. These foreign investors are not famed for their patience. I found the game depressing, unwatchable and yet wholly predictable.
I’m with you Bill. I could not take another 45 mins so I left at half time. I cringe every time a ball comes into our box, because you just know that Ikeme is not going to deal with it, ditto the defenders. Why we play with midfielders, I do not know, because Batthe and Co just lump it over the top of them. I hold a season ticket, but I won’t be using it again this season and if Lambert is still with us next, I don’t think I will be renewing it. At least under Zenga they tried to play the passing game.
My letter from Mr Dalrymple said we don’t get the refund if we get promoted to the Prem. I did’nt quite understand that on a few levels.
Sadly I can’t see Prem football on the horizon ever on the recurring gruel served up at present.
It’s Wigan mark 2 although not quite as horrific. For me the disappointment sat on the lack of skills of the players. Whether Coady’s inability to cushion the ball on his chest or Price’s crossfield ball to a Blues player.
But most significantly when Batth & Stearman tried to play the ball out of defence. Oh dear oh dear. Just a bit of pressure applied by a couple of Blues players & total panic! It took Dicko to come back & sort of sort it getting flattened in the process, that sums up, for me, our deficiencies.
The lot of them should have been jettisoned after Wigan. Whoever selects the next side needs to include Saiss, Iorfa, Hause, Williamson. Add our quality Dicko, Jon Dadi & Costa, & a keeper. That leaves 3 places that could be decided by a lottery system as the quality of the players is pretty much of a muchness, Price,Edwards, Saville or Evans? Who knows. It’s abysmal, & you just hope we stay up. But it’s easy to see us capitulating yet again. There must be something very wrong with the structure & management of this once Golden Club.
I was delighted when Lambert was appointed. I’ve kept the faith despite the defeats but it’s becoming more and more difficult. Our midfield is awful. Even when Brum went to ten they didn’t find the space and gain the ascendancy you expected them to. Creativity more often than not consists of a hopeful hump forward.
The much maligned Sigster, prior to the break, had scored 4 in 9 for Copenhagen. Bodvarson, with a similar scoring record at Wolverhampton and arguably with better players around him, is considered a cult hero. The tale of two Icelanders huh!
Evans is another odd one – recently signed a new long term contract which indicates someone rates him. Since then he has been relegated to the bench and then was left out completely last night. Injury??
Ah well, we’re all Wolves supporters, all attending the same clinic – did we really expect anything different?
Sorry Molde not Copenhagen. Last night left me brain dead.
Regarding the new contracts awarded to some of our not very good players, does that make them a bit more ‘valuable’ in the transfer market ?
Or does it keep down the projected wage bill, or what?
It’s certainly not for football reasons.
Sorry John but I’m struggling to follow your logic. Are you suggesting that Evans was not given a new contract for footballing reasons but so we can pay him less and sell him for more?
I was thinking that if a player is on a long contract the owning club can demand more in the transfer market. Just musing. As for wages, if the club can tie a player to a deal it’s a bit like fixing your gas and electric tariff for a year or two. It may suit the accountants.
But whatever the sense in any of that, Lee Evans, Saville, Edwards etc, are not what we need for football reasons
I was just about to say as above. Under WZ points per game 1.14. Under PL points per game 1.12. Stats over a combined 30 games don’t lie. Under PL a non descript aimless style of play. Boring mundane mediocre. League 1 plodders all over the pitch taking us to their level. God let us hope 45 points is enough this year. That means 4 wins from somewhere. Next up at the Mol- Rock bottom Rotherham. Could be a very uncomfortable afternoon.Very uncomfortable.
Excellent synopsis Thomas. There is a cancer within the club and that cancer is the acceptance of mediocrity. Wolves is a great place to be crap. You have fantastic training facilities, great stadium, great support and very good wages but no one is truly held to account. 8 of the starting XI last night have been in or around the team for the last 100, yes 100 or so, games where we have either been playing league one or delivering mediocrity in the championship. None of them have been moved on. Unbelievably for a team that aspires to the PL, some have been rewarded with long term contracts. These players plus Thelwell, rob Edwards, tony Daley, pat mountain and a host of others in the back room staff have had literally hundreds of opportunities to improve our lot and time and time again have not delivered. Technically very limited and mentally weak we are engulfed by career under achievers. What kind of message does it send throughout the club when a player such as lee Evans who has done absolutely nothing in a wolves shirt is rewarded with a long term contract? I am absolutely convinced that we will be relegated at the end of season. Fosun please be absolutely ruthless. Start with board of non de scripts and get some quality, knowledgeable football people involved, then dismantle the club management, except dalrymple give him a chance. Next dismantle the back room staff but keep lambert, anyone who has actually won something of significance in a career is in my books a winner and deserves some respect. Then look at the playing squad, bar a few notable exceptions I.e the kids and Costa, get rid of the lot, how many more chances do they want? Unfortunately Fosun are trying to turn the tide against a culture of non achievement that stretches many years. To be blunt the club, the staff and the players don’t deserve the fan base. The performances against Liverpool, Stoke and Chelsea just prove that our players are con artists, anyone can be brave when nothing is expected, real men deliver when the pressure is really on. Rant over.
Listening to Leeds v Sheffield Wednesday as Chris Wood scores his goal number 20 of the season. You do wonder why he did’nt come to us?
And is that the problem we don’t pay enough or did Wood just think we didn’t offer enough ambition?
There’s a growing gulf opening between us and the better Championship sides.
Oh woe, but it’s only football & we must get goals & 3 points against Rotherham.
Price Edwards and Savile sound like a firm of accountants or solicitors in a leafy market town in the Cotswolds and to be fair they did play like a firm of accountants or solicitors from a leafy market town in the Cotswolds. If forward passing and keeping the ball become against the rules we have the midfield in place. We pass the ball with all the guile and pace of Cliff Thorburn lining up shots at the snooker table. Both teams played football that came from an age before the wheel, fire and language had been invented. Robinson was not alone in playing football uglier than Eli Wallach.
Paul Lambert sounds increasingly like a man auditioning for a latenight TalkSport show, perhaps teamed with Dean Saunders, they can fill the lonely hours between 1am and 6am.
Danny I fully agree with your comments.
Our midfield as selected against B`ham is pathetic. Totally lacking in quality, devoid of any creativity, and unable to find a half decent forward pass between them. It is the case that we do not have a striker worth the name, but even the likes of Jimmy Greaves or Denis Law would have been pushed to succeed with these three non-entities playing behind them in midfield.
I have long mused why there are those on these boards who seem to rate Price. The guy is at best an average Division 1 footballer who should be nowhere near our first team. I can only assume that his popularity is based on comparisons with the likes of Savile, Edwards and Evans, all of whom should be playing in Divsion 2.
Isn`t it time Mr Lambert gave Saiss a decent run in the team ? Why not recall Prince from his loan spell in France ? — after all he is our player. Surely neither could do worse than the dross that is selected week on week
SOS…..
Same Old Shit,
Short Of Strikers,
Sod Off Saville,
Sack Our Scotsman,
Sort it Out Shi,
Salvage Our Season, somebody – please.
Get rid of Thelwell ,Edwards!Daley.Mountain oh and I nearly forgot Lambswool
Insanity or incompetence ?
If the definition of insanity is repeatedly doing the same thing and expecting a different outcome then PL is terminally insane. For months now we have been launching high balls up to the front man, looking to pick up the 2nd ball. It hasn’t worked and it still doesn’t look like working. This is sub-McCarthyesque football – at least his teams occasionally tried to get it on the floor and string a pass or two together.
Incompetence ? Where to start ? The innumerable number of mis-placed passes suggests a lack of the most basic skills in our squad. Their ability to constantly find themselves outnumbered in every part of the pitch (despite it being 11 v 11 and even at 11 v 10) suggests incompetence at managerial level as well.
Once that Brummie thug PR was gone this was a match crying out for Bright and his ability to navigate his way past tackles and into dangerous areas. But no, we continue to lump the ball forward towards a target man who can’t jump and Dicko who is off the pace in terms of acceleration and anticipation.
Any positives ? Possibly the 2nd half performances of Doherty and Coady who, at last, were able to get forward. But make no mistake, this performance had ‘relegation fodder’ written all over it.
Mr. Lambert, I beg to differ with your conclusion that we are a team of great talent for whom the “sky is the limit ” The only talent that we possess is to make woeful opposition appear to be Barcelona, and to somehow manage to plumb ever lower depths every time we play. We are absolute unadulterated crap, throughout every sector of the team.
There is no point is attempting to make constructive criticism of this bunch of no hopers. They are surely past redemption. Assuming that by some miracle we somehow manage to avoid relegation, the ONLY way forward is surely to have a massive clear out of the lot of them, with the grossly inadequate and over-rated Thelwell leading the exit march. Never can so much mediocrity have been assembled at one time at any football club.
Last point of this rant. Please Mr Lambert, oust the completely useless DB, and his cohort Stearman. They are about as effective as ” Bill and Ben the flower pot men ” If Mike Williamson can stand on one leg, play him.
It seems to be a given that teams on a poor run turn that around when they come to Molineux (but a Forest fan I was talking to the other day was saying much the same).
The team looked toothless for much of last night, even when Robinson was red carded. We so badly need some creativity in midfield to feed the strikers – sorry, striker. I’m sure this is something Texeiria could have provided (but that boat has of course long sailed). Also, I still can’t understand why Says has been benched.
Not too many positives going forward, except that Huddersfield in midweek is postponed and our next two matches are away.
Oh so that’s a relief, Huddersfield would have slaughtered us on last night’s form.
Can we postpone the rest of the season?
Didn’t go or watch/listen to the game last night as I go training on a Friday night so got home and looked at the score at 10pm and actually started laughing. It’s far from being funny but I think its called gallows humour. Sadly there was always something inevitable about the result.
Where has the pressing football gone from December and January? Where has the tenacity of the performances against Stoke, Liverpool and Chelsea gone? Why has Costa gone off the boil ever since signing a permanent deal? Is it a coincidence results have gone downhill since Cavaleiro got injured?
I still think we should keep Lambert as any more upheaval at this stage of the season would cause even more disruption in my opinion but have to agree with Sutton Coldfield’s great post above. A complete overhaul of the club is needed in the summer and I too place more trust in Lambert than in Thelwell to sort this mess out.
Personally I think this just highlights the flawed recruitment policy of the last regime that has bogged us down for a few seasons now. All probably decent players but no mental toughness. Oh for an Ince, Butler, Rae, Blake or Cameron. How we need some leaders right now.
Big question is do we have what it takes to avoid relegation?
What we need are some nice away games so we can string some performances and points together.
What a godawful season it’s being. Made all the worse by the hopes and expectations we all held at the beginning.
There really is no excuse for these crappy performances. Our showings in the cup make these no shows in the league even more unacceptable. Why buy Marshall? Is he better than what we have? Then play him for chrissakes. If not, then why buy him?
Just watched Leeds v Wednesday and they’re a world away from the absolute dross we’re producing. I know we weren’t exactly rampant in KJ’s last season but at least we weren’t handing games to teams on a silver platter.
I am, to say the least, disappointed.
Got invited to a bit of corporate food and drink last night at the moolinex .
Thats the first time in eight years i have set foot inside the golden palace .The grub ,the booze, the service were nothing short of excellent and i would recommend it to every one of you (as long as someone else is paying that is ).
The entertainment was unfortunately a total let down and almost ruined my evening.
After an absence of eight years i am sorry to say that despite fosuns millions the thing we actually all turned up to see was considerably worse than when i threw the towel in all those years ago.
i have come to the conclusion that on the first team playing side of the club there is something fundamentally deep rooted rotten wrong that has been going on for a long long time and when that occurs in any business the ONLY remedy is a COMPLETE clear out of the old guard and i mean COMPLETE CLEAR OUT from top to bottom.
That means anyone connected to the first team from recruitment to coaching to fitness to players that have been there for a long time and have seen off several managers should be replaced . Probably by a complete package of a manager and his trusted aids.
Now i know people will say who would you appoint and quite honestly i havent a clue. Thats not my job its the job of the board and if they do commit to a mass cull they had better get the replacement package correct or they should go as well.
Anyway ,.. my wife was getting worried that my return to the molineux would re ignite my once insatiable appetite for everything wolves… she neednt have worried it may well be a long time before i return (unless its another freeby)
Sometimes you can’t beat a good oldie.
In 1964 the Moody Blues sang what is today for all Wolves fans a very pertinent song;
Go now, go now, go now
Before you see me cry….
So here I am singing that song to each and every one of the following;
Paul Lambert
Kevin Thelwell
Danny Batth
Richard Stearman
Silvio
Andy Loergan
Cameron Borthwick-Jackson
Ethan Ebanks-Landell
Jack Price
George Saville
Dave Edwards
Lee Evans
James Henry
Jed Wallace
Joe Mason
Andy Weimann
Paul Gladon
Money Shop as shirt sponsors
Redrow placards in the ground
Electric neon lime green away kits
Probably some more I have missed but that’ll do for now.
Imagine the uproar iF Steve Morgan and Kenny Jacket were still here. Yet here we are In a relegation battle again despite spending large amounts of money. On current form we will end up going down with Rotherham. Dosing have spent millions but have been totally inept. Zenga a million players for the squad. Nonsense. Now Paul Lambert… and we have average players with no sense of organization or direction… this is a cocktail for disaster. We have about 10 matches left. There we’ll be no improvement. As such, and controversially, bye bye Mr Lambert and hello Mr Gary Rowett ( ironically ex brum). Save us from relegation please as our current boss is unable to. Sorry fellow wolves fans… nothing to be positive about
I still think we should stick with Lambert but a definite clear out is needed.
Thelwall
The coaching staff
Ikeme
Battle
Stearman
Edwards
Price
Wallace
Saville
Jon Dadi
Dicko
I was most disappointed with Lambert and it’s not often I’ve said that. At home against a side who couldn’t buy a win and were bereft of confidence. What did we do? Start with a lone striker, who doesn’t score, supported by the one-paced Weimann and a toothless midfield combo of Edwards and Saville.
It was a puzzling decision. There is an argument Lambert doesn’t have many options but it is up to the home side to take the initiative and surely the pace of Dicko and Bright would have given Blues more to worry about than the painful sight of seeing the ball being hopelessly hoofed upfield towards a lumbering Bodvarsson who has gone from being a non-goalscoring striker bringing something to games to now just being an irrelevance.
We now have a difficult-looking set of away fixtures coming up starting with promotion-chasing Reading. Dear oh dear.
I have it on good authority (one of the waiters in my local Chinese restaurant is a cousin of Jeff Shi) that Thelwell and Lambert will be replaced at the end of the season if not before.
Fosun has decided to upgrade their employees and will appoint the top CEO and manager they can find.
Welcome back Jez Moxey and Mick McCarthy.
Just when you thought it couldn’t get any worse!!!!!
Cousin eh. That’s a hell of a coincidence considering how many Chinese there are in the world. 🙂
He didn’t say first cousin …….
We all know we’re in a relegation fight now, but do you think the manager and the squad have the stomach for the fight I don’t think so.So without being boring and repetitive we must get rid of thelwell the back room staff + piss poor PL.
Spikeyboy,
I too was offered a trip into an Executive box for last nights fare. My mate stumped up £960 for him his girlfriend two mates and then invited me Jen de Wolf and my two grandchildren.
Call me old fashioned but I didn’t enjoy the posh nosh, waitress service or drinks brought to the room, I thought the atmosphere was dulled and just couldn’t get into the game. I did record it in case it was a classic. (What a twat I am)
I now think what I would have been like walking down the stairs of the Northbank after that shite.
I missed both goals due to the Knobheads outside the window ripping up seats, hurling them at the windows of the boxes, spitting, throwing bottles, coins and abuse at anything in Wolves colours.
Prehistoric, neanderthal, ISIS type behaviour, what a way to behave over a game of footy and a shit game of footy at that. At least 100 of the dickheads didn’t know the pitch was behind them, some were actually foaming at the mouth, (I shit you not)
Crap on the pitch, absolute disgusting behaviour on the lower Steve Bull, they were stunned when they scored. Oh for Euthanasia to become legal.
You great, bunch of harshly treated bunch of bloggers have put it better than I ever could, I can’t really comment having only concentrated post Dicko scoring.
But we STILL aint shit fans!!!
We can only hope Jeff is recruiting a whole new team of backroom people (in secret) as we speak who will take over at the immediate end of the season. We now just need to avoid relegation at all costs and hope they sell as many of the players as possible and start from scratch.
As I mentioned to all of you when you were all singing Lambert’s praise a few weeks ago, we shouldn’t get too excited about a few wins in a row or a few loses, for that matter.
It can’t be that hard to avoid relegation. 21 teams do it each year.
As for why we can’t get total effort each game from all players – I am mystified. I never played any sport at that high a level but when I did play, I gave it may all, unless I was playing with people who were obviously not sports minded or with some children involved.
Are they confused about what their assignments are or what could possibly explain it? How do you get to that level without having a super high level of competitiveness?
Took my wife to the playoff final at Cardiff in 2003 for her first match, she has had a season ticket ever since rarely missing a home game, also since we retired 7 years ago rarely missing an away game, in fact when booking our non-summer holidays she books them in the international breaks so we do not to miss a match. What does she get for this loyalty? Utter dross on the pitch and management bullshit. While Stoke and Liverpool were brilliant days out they cannot compensate for the inept performances and bizarre team selections we have had to endure since.
FOR GOD’S SAKE SOMEONE, ANYONE, SORT IT OUT!!!!!
Strange that some fans on here are thinking of giving up. – they won’t of course.
By coincidence my son dragged me down for the first time since the burton game.
I can’t believe you pay to see this dross. Both teams were hopeless for 20 minutes and then wolves gifted them 2 goals (good finish by davis mind) and gifted them the confidence to hang on even with 10 men. Wolves played well for 15 minutes after their goal but the rest of the game was terrible.
The lack of passion or care was what I took away from the game. Wolves better hope there are 3 bad teams in this league because otherwise relegation looks certain – you could feel it in the atmosphere.
Good luck for the rest of the season.
And for those thinking of changing allegiance – you only get one life – don’t waste it
Unfortunately, in most people’s cases, hearts win out over heads.
You, sir, are among the fortunate few who can change allegiance at the drop of a hat (or a ball in Ikeme’s case).
When Abramsandwich pulls his money out of Chelski you can move on to Man Utd, or Man City, or Arsenal, or……..whoever happens to be flavour of the month.
Most of us on this blog are lumbered with the club we love.
Couldn’t have put it better myself !!!!
I’m already at man u. I follow mourinho wherever it leads…… and it leads to watching good football played by a team that has a good manager. Now if wolves could just find one of them…
Some people would call that stalking!
pferdepferde, great news for you!
Just seen on Sky Sport News (so it must be true!) that Smethwick Town are to sack Pulis in March and have already lined up Maureen’e’hoe to replace him on 1st April
Bet you don’t follow him to that Shithole! (and if you do, then you must LURRVVV HIM)
I would if it were to happen…. but it won’t
You spell it like this …. L. O Y A L T Y.
I would NEVER EVER stop supporting Wolves it is my DNA.
I’ve been married 40 years and only ever worked for one employer. I know all about loyalty. Wolves are not your DNA. Wolves are a choice you made. Your carrying with them is your choice and I would not critise you for that. I merely point out that you do it by choice
Surely life is about choice!
For most loyal supporters in any sport you cannot (and IMHO should not) change allegiance, this doesn’t mean I only watch WWFC and will support WWFC till my dying day and I’ll also watch most football games especially local non league (although I draw the line at Smethwick Village)
Loyalty i believe can be measured in many ways – like of our greatest ever goal scorer SGB he was Loyal to WWFC
and I think if you canvas all football fans, then the majority would rather cut their own arses off before changing allegiance from their chosen team and therefore that is loyalty and as for choice that would very much be a secondary emotion
And I think you will find that chelsea are about to have another injection of cash from the far east
I cant believe we pay to watch that dross either, but we do because its our club.. That’s what true supporters do…
Based on current points per game averaged out to 46 games this is how the relegation contenders will finish- WOLVES 50 BRISTOL C 46 BLACKBURN 43 WIGAN 42 ROTHERHAM (ALREADY GONE) So Blackburn Wigan Rotherham to go down.
But over the last 5 games Wigan, Bristol City and Blackburn have all picked up 5 points where we have picked up 3. Now average that out over the remaining 15 (?) games and you can see we are in deep doo-doo…
The one thing we are is passionate …the one thing we aren’t is numpties. !!!!
I would summarise last night’s performance as a collection of ALL of the honest criticisms made above….SHOCKING TO THE CORE.
You load of wanker footballers know how to talk the talk BUT are fecked when it comes to walking the walk.
You’re so full of bullshit as to being at the point of BORING.
I haven’t witnessed such a rag bag performance for many a season ..and last night is up there with the best.
For a start playing 4:4:1:1 against 10 men …f me what chance have we got.
I can forgive Ikemes clanger ..after all..he doesn’t drop too many …. BUT THE FOLLOWING SHOULD BE ASHAMED…….
BATTH, PRICE, EDWARDS, SAVILLE, WEIMANN, COSTA, ….. LAMBERT, TAYLOR, EDWARDS, THELWELL, FOUNTAIN, DALEY …you’re a disgrace the wear the shirt or serve this club.
27500 plus fans won’t put up with this for long….
My suggestion is that Thelwell gets Sacked tonite ..along with ANYONE ELSE NOT PREPARED TO DIE FOR THIS GREAT CLUB …WITH ITS GREAT FOLLOWING.
A BRILLIANT POST THOMAS… THE TRUTH IS OUT …!!!
Absolutely right mate. A bunch of no hopers taking good money without providing commitment or obvious effort. How much of this rubbish are expected to take ?
Hi Mike (Twixfix that is). I’m now questioning if I’ve done the right: earlier this week I bought tickets for the Rotherham game (can’t wait to see what Barbara makes of it all…..).
We’re staying overnight on Saturday at the APV so, would be good to see you, Stu and anyone else who happens to be around, either there or in the North Bank Bar.
That should be ‘right thing’.
Yeah Exiled. There’s a little group of us from South Devon coming up, more in hope than expectation it’s true. Hopefully see y’all there.
Great! See you all then.
Great ….. see you there Dougie …and Barbara..
I think our cup run has has papered over cracks of what really matters the league results. The jury was out with PL appointment but what I am seeing over the last five league matches I don’t think he’s going to cut it. Team selection and tactics (one up front at home against bottom teams and long punts up the field hoping for a mistake or our striker can get on the end of it, if he happens to be were a striker should be in the penalty area). Selection of midfield, they will run all day, little or no skill, no killer pass. Selecting Wiemann other than the Liverpool game I have’nt seen him do anything only run around. Yes I could go on all day but one thing for certain we are in a RELEGATION scrap.
PL buys in Jan Weimann very ordinary and Marshall who is no better than we already have (joke) 2 stone overweight and not fit – Costa is getting double marked but that surely should mean that the other winger is free ?, why did they start on the opposite wings to the ones they normally do ?
Are we able to play football as it should be I.e. Passing on the ground mostly, the first 20 mins were dire hoof it up for bod and gave the initiative to Birmingham.
Did say that Ian Holloway would have been a better choice, he gets a team spirit and at least you can tell what he is saying.
Imagine what Chris woods signing would have done for us, only a few weeks ago we bloggers were raving about how well the team were performing in the cup but that is a wolves fan’s life
Can we please get those bl–dy ugly dirty red coloured Redrow signs down if not can we cover them with wolves flags ?
Thought Stearman had a decent game,
Stu wolf sorry that the box experience was disappointing, suggest you try the presidents lounge food and seats are brilliant, Wolves man of the match comes in after the game, it was Iorfa when I went so that’s obviously a while ago !
Forgot to say that my corporate jobby was the presidents lounge not a box and as you say it was excellent
If Chris Woods had been signed, he would, like all our other half decent signings, quickly have been dragged down into the swirling mass of desperate mediocrity that permeates our club. See what happens to them when they escape our clutches.
If is the story of my life.
If my Auntie had bollocks she would be my Uncle.
Its too late for ifs, we need a fuckin’ miracle.
Claudio is looking for work, he’s foreign, like Zenga and Lambert, get him in, sign Vardy and Mahrez, and off er go up the table!!
We cant go much further down.
Bloke at work supports Darlington. Used to be up there in 3rd/4th tier. Now in the ‘Brian’s sheds’ national league Northern section division 3. Still goes. There is suffering on a truly enormous scale. Doesn’t make what is going on at the temple any easier, but sort of puts it in to a bit of perspective. We need to break the cycle of mediocracy. First step was remove M and M. ACHIEVED. Next step new wealthy owners. ACHIEVED? Next step remove the lingering old guard/culture. Come on Fosun. If you want to take us to greater things you need to tackle the deep rooted complacency in our club. Don’t let the MM loyalists run our club because while they are there we won’t go anywhere. Ruthless action required again and we may take another step forward?
Where do you go after a performance like that, I’d like to say upwards but this is Wolves, Wolves who 9,000 people travelled to Milton Keynes for a league one game 8,500 travelled to Liverpool 4,500 to Stoke and average home gates 22,000 and this after watching these average over paid pretenders flatter to deceive game after game after game with the odd highlight thrown in.
The Morgan influence is still very strong in the corridors of Molinuex and that the problem and Jeff and Fosun rightly or wrong seem to think there doing a good job, well Jeff Fosun look at the results the performances the recruiting the coaching the board room they’ve all been there to long the proof, look at the League table I’m fed up of blogging it………..Jeff Fosun the how lot from boardroom to boot room need replacing other wise you can forget any returned on your investment………..my guess if you don’t this time next year you’ll be selling up and you’ll be lucky to get half your investment back..!
Your call Jeff Fosun.
Jeff, could do worse than speak to owners of Man City or Chelsea get some tips on how to change the culture of a club going no where..!
By the way, thank God Lambert has experience coaching in England otherwise we’d really be in trouble.
24 hours later and still steaming. What the bloody hell is going on with this club and team. Our home record is an absolute embarrassment, it’s shocking and not acceptable. i think only Rotherham have a poorer home record, it’s a disgrace, the players should hang their heads in shame. Come to Wolves and collect your free 3 points, no need to break sweat, don’t worry if you have conceded 20 goals in the last 2 games because we can’t score, don’t worry if your striker has put his boots on the wrong feet, he’s a cert to score at least 5 oh and don’t start me on the old returning player curse. Can someone stick a microphone in the middle of the team huddle because I could do with a laugh. The club promotion of early birds is commendable but how do you expect fans to pay good money to see the team get beat every time they play at home, perhaps an away season ticket is a safer bet. Please stop commenting in the local press how good we are on the training ground, how we are going to do this, that and the other because words are cheap and action speaks louder than words. Don’t get me wrong, I got excited like everyone else with our cup run and marvelled at the efforts the team put into the games but it proves that when the pressure is off we perform but when expectation is high and wins expected we buckle and fail. The players need to take a good long look at themselves and ask “am I good enough, strong enough and possess a win at all cost attitude” home results say no.
Anyone in the close vicinity of Compton tomorrow may catch a glimpse of Lambert and the players…..
Just saying.
Support another team.!
Fuck off that would be proper boring.
Stu. Never let anyone take WWFC out of your heart . I never will. A chap in my year at school put his mom and dads bungalow up for sale whilst they were away on holiday in 1982 to try and save us.This is what Wolves means to us. His mom and dad come back and sorted it out but the lad sold his bike and donated the money to save the wolves. As much as we all get fed up about it we all love the wolves and that is why we get fucked off when shit happens. Which it normally does.
Huge piss off being a Wolves fan right now…..or has it always been that way?
A club like ours – and what have we had to cheer about? Oh yeah – the Leauge cup and briefly dipping our toes into the Premiership; big deal! Of course my late father would disagree when he remembered the true glory days – but, at the age of 52 i wish I’d more to cling to.
Does anyone know where this club is going?
Every sympathy Chester …. my time as a supporter started in1953-4 and between then and 1960 I followed them through 3 Old 1st division championships and an FA Cup win – saw them in every round including the final. BUT – while there have been a few bright spots and some memorable players since then – essentially it has always been that way since 1960. The League cups in their way were high spots of a sort, but it’s the league that really counts over the long term and we’ve just never had it in us.
Still, there’s something about the Wolves that keeps us loyal – I’m still sticking it out after the 57 years since 1960 – and I still live in hope.
Love that line, Cheesy,
“we get fucked off when shit happens!!”
And Looney, what player, on a fat contract for doing nothing, is going to look in the mirror and say I aint good enough?
Not one of them.
The attitude is ” I got the fat contract, therefore I MUST be good enough”
That’s if any of them can think in words of more than one sylable.
No, they are just going to turn up, go through the motions and laugh all the way to the bank.
And dont let anyone say Edwards is the exception coz he’s been with us forever.
He’s only at The Mol coz no other fucker wants him!!
And we have to look at the Prem table and see the sandwell slime rock steady in the top ten.
Talk about getting our noses rubbed in it.
I am royally, royally, royally pissed off right now.
Thank dog no one over here in Houston knows anything about football.
Bit like everyone associated with The Wolves, actually.
Except us fans of course.
Fowb
I got bored reading all the moaning so I’ll put it simply. The best and most honest manager we’ve had was discarded for a hotsy-totsy foreign import who is statistically STILL better than Lambert.
Yeah, boring Kenny Jackett, the man who took us up as record breaking champions of the Third division (lets not fuck about here) then, still bereft of exiled ‘talent’ took us to within a hairs breath of the play-off’s a season later, all without a fraction of the money poured upon his successors, (great word that, eh?) and yet still managed to keep this over-achieving bunch of wasters in mid table (much to the chagrin of idiot fans who can’t see the wood for the bloody trees) and away from the turbulence now being experienced by Lambert who just might do a Dean and drag us back down to where we, on this showing, belong.
Now you might disagree with me, I couldn’t give a shit either way, but we fucked off the one manager who might possibly have made a silk purse out of this sows arse of a squad. I just hope that all you tactical wizards and visionless dickheads out there who campaigned so vociferously for his end are bloody happy with yourselves, because it’s your fault as much as anybody else’s at this moron-ruled, cretinous and lobotomised fucking mental-establishment that besmirches the great name of Wolverhampton Wanderers, which is being dragged, tortuously screaming through the mud of pathetic destruction once a-bloody-gain.
I hope you’re all fucking pleased with your contributions and stupid team selections and tactical formations, you brainless fuckers.
Jesus ………..h….Christ where did that come from…….you need a holiday
Agree we should have given KJ time to see what he could do, good to see Marco Silva making a good fist of it at Hull.
Well Larry, I wouldn’t have exactly put it in those terms, but I can’t disagree with the sentiment regarding KJ. Too late to have that argument all over again though. We have more pressing problems.
Now Larry boy,
Coming on this site and downright insulting us all will really piss people off, your use of words are well over the top and fuckin very insulting. For what reason it escapes me, maybe your’e a frustrated football fan but certainly your’e not a serious fan. I attend every game home away U23’s and U18’s at times.
Your a prick, a complete and utter moron to come out with Shite like Kenny Jackett was a good manager, where the fuck do you go to watch the game, did you stand with your back to the pitch. It was complete and utter “Boring shite” total bolloxs.
Quite frankly, you should take up another sport, because if your’e trying to tell me things were better under Mr Dull then you should be watching Cricket.
I have read other posts from you and at times you have put down some valid points, but mate, this is Cock, complete twaddle,
One swallow don’t make any summer, the Division 1 stuff needs putting right up there where it belongs, “we were in division 1 FFS” get a grip.
The next two seasons are when the rot set in, we had a vindictive, egotistical manager who thought he knew better than anyone else and the performances on the pitch were dire, lucky and backs to the wall most games.
Don’t come on here calling me “a brainless fucker” just because you can hide behind a keyboard, there is no need for it. This blog exisists because people on here are decent folk who “Get along” but every now and again some Prick like you comes on and upsets the apple cart. It’s only a game of football FFS, go Troll another site if this one riles you to the point of you feeling you need to slag people off so nastily.
I suspect you may be a nice person, but if not, Fuck off back to another site and annoy them with your Kenny Jackett was a decent manager utter Bollox, because, I’m just not having that tripe.
Have a nice day Sir.
Wanker!
Ouch!
I was going to reply, but I aint following that !
Dear Larry, we are all entitled to our opinions – it’s one of the things that makes football so great – and freedom of speech is a fundamental part of our democratic constitution.
Whether that gives you the right to hurl vile and foul mouthed abuse at people on here is another matter.
Your admiration for Kenny Jackett perhaps speaks volumes about the kind of person you are. If you see the future of our club, just like dear old Mr Moxey did, as a small provincial little outfit content to bob along in mid-table Championship obscurity then Jackett is ideal.
If on the other hand you have loftier ambitions for our club and want to see us back in the top division and once more competing for titles, cups and European competition participation – and let’s face it, if you don’t want that then what’s the point? – then Jackett’s particular brand of football management is not what is needed.
That’s my opinion which, just like those who voted for Brexit and the Americans who voted for Trump, I am entitled to regardless of whether others, who disagreed and lost, like it or not.
Maybe when you think about it you will feel the need to post an apology on here for your abusive rant. If you do I am sure your apology will be accepted. We all go off on one from time to time.
If you don’t then please feel free to go fuck yourself you pig ignorant tosser.
The last sentence in any prose is often the most powerful……
Fairly explained and unambiguously put….
Please don’t call me a ‘brainless f**ker’ mate.
I happen to agree with you about KJ but respect others’ opinions who don’t.
Perhaps you should too.
WOW, LARRY do you need Lansoprazole for your bile?
Or just a frontal lobotomy?
Either that or your stay at the Tourette’s School didn’t work as planned
Filth, pure filth and I for one are somewhat disappointed.
To coin a phase/sony from good old Monthy Python – all look on the fekin bright enobakhare side of life LMFRABATO

Is that Dr RickRack …by any chance …?
Twixfix, you sussed me out, I thought no one would have worked out my alias (as it’s really Dr Who but I got scared of those pesky daleks)
And no, don’t try to tap me up as I told you last year you cannot get a penis extension on the NHS
I’ve never had any complaints from that dept R R Wolf …in fact they’ve been very complementary… so please give the penis allocation of resources to the next bloke…
Twix, reckon I’ll save it for “pferdepferde” so he can pleasure Joes’say
The idea that personal insults might be stopped on this blog is clearly a joke. I have not insulted anybody here. I have not insulted wolves or their fans. Yet several posters see it as perfectly ok to insult me.
Lillian dont get out much, do she??!!
People laughed when they heard it was only 5 inches. That surprised me as I thoughr most women liked it that wide.
I hate television games because then I actually get the chance to see how badly we are playing at the moment.
I’m still waiting for the inspired substitutions midway through the second half to turn things around.
There was a part in the coverage when the camera focused on the coaching staff and it looked like they didn’t know what to do.
yes saw that Rob Edwards seemed to have a lot to say but PL looked like he was caught in a cars headlights, perhaps it was do we throw Bright on ?
I love you too, Larry baby!!!
Hey Larry – what a fantastically articulate rant. That really made me smile while eating my Alpen this morning. I get where you are coming from but openly abusing folk isn’t going to win friends or influence people. Although I do love it when people go off on one but surely we can all disagree politely with one another?
Sadly fans getting fed up and “turning” on managers is too common a part of football these days – just look at the shit Wenger has to put up with from his supporters. It happened to Jackett – rightly or wrongly – just like to it happened to McCarthy and don’t those heady days of winning the Championship title seem a million miles away right now.
What’s more of a worry for me is that we generally seem to make poor managerial appointments and then when we do get a decent one we don’t give them the proper tools to do the job. Why do so many of managers fail and run out of steam? Surely there has to be something wrong in the bigger picture at the club don’t you think Why can the Albion get it right and we simply can’t? Bloody frustrating isn’t it?
‘… we generally seem to make poor managerial appointments…’
Suggesting a lack of long-term vision/direction at board-room level – and this has been a consistent factor for decades now.
How long now until we here pl telling us he’s the best man to get us out of division 3 what with his experience at Norwich an all !!!!
I can’t help wondering how we would be going now if we had got fosin first choice for coach , I’m thinking prince , taxiera , Silvio , saise would have been given a decent run in the league ( we couldn’t have been worse than we are now surely) but the guy I would most like to have seen was the 34 year old captain of benfica ‘ I think’ we were due to pay him a rediculous salary but surely he could have been the answer for our defence, imagine a defensive captain capable of receiving the ball from the keeper and actually passing it forward with some sort of progress, anyway I’ve said before that I think Jonny English trains harder than Johny foreigner, therefore gets the jersey,
On a positive, we’ll sort of , reading just got stuffed so a glimmer of hope playing away maybe!
Also , Larry Talbot , calm down mate , we all have our opinions and none are more important than the other , there’s certainly no need for insults regardless of how many units of alcohol you may have consumed
You’ve heard of the expression “bringing the game into disrepute”. Well Thelwell, Lambert and the coaching staff are bringing our once great and proud club into disrepute. When a new manager arrives at a club he usually says what went on before is history and that he wants to see for himself what players can and cannot do. Agreed? If so, then read on. Well what did Lambert say when he came to the club? Not what most, if not all, new managers say! No, quite the opposite! He said that the foreign lads have had their chance, implying they were not up to the challenges of the Championship. He’d not even had a chance to take training sessions, watch them play a few games, talk to them, try to motivate them, etc. He had already formed an opinion. How on earth could he have come out with that so soon after taking over? I tell you how. That was Thelwell and the existing backroom staff (Edwards, etc.) talking. For a new manager to come out and say that shows Lambert for what he is! And what has happened since then (putting aside typical underdog performances in the FA Cup) is a reflection of all that is wrong at the club. Politics, a weak manager and a group of players that are simply not good enough to wear the old gold and black have taken over. We thought we were mad supporting The Wolves. Well the lunatics have taken over the asylum! It really seems they are taking our club away from us. Ironic really, given all the bullshit about tapping into the huge fan base! I am gutted at the moment. Losing to small heath makes it infinitely worse! Like I said a couple of blogs back, after my impromptu phone call to Britney Spears at the E&S, where he was being derogatory about the foreign players, especially Saiss! We know he is a mouthpiece for Thelwell…
incognito
i think you are spot on m8,and its being going on for a very long time to,all bullshitters the lot of them.there mugging the fans off all the time.wake up fosun smell the coffee
It is with some trepidation given what has just gone down hereabouts that I pose a couple of questions (bit out of the loop down here in SE London).
1. Why was McDonald (the only player who could pick out a decent and penetrative forward pass in the squad) sold? Who did he piss off and how? and
2. Who sanctioned the purchases of Gladon for £1 million and a transparently unfit Marshall for even more?
Genuine questions would be interested in any informative replies.
Indeed, Bill, surely prospective players have fitness tests and scouting reports before it is decided to go ahead. The way £millions are flung about with little comeback when proved wasteful is scandalous. Equally the lucrative contracts handed to mediocre players. The clubs are spoiled by gate receipts and TV money, it’s a subsidy they abuse.
And the loyal supporters are given second class facilities at Molineux, not even a working video screen after all these years.
Don’t know Bill and that’s the problems no one, either Lambertt or Therwell seem to want to tell us….?
Is it the Director or the Manger who’s responsible ……….answers on a postcode to Kevin or Paul Molinuex.
It’s all been said, most of us saw a game that Wolves continue to serve up in this division.
I was so pumped up when PL was appointed. He said all the right things, he said what we wanted to hear.
Now we are dangling over the precipice of heading into the 1st division. Worrying times indeed and I am struggling to see a way out of this. It’s really concerning that after all the money and change of personnel we have failed to progress on the field.
I have only seen one game at the Mol this season – v Sheff Wed, that was the worst game I have seen between two teams for as long as I can remember. There I must be daft because I just booked two away tickets to seem them v Reading, I live locally so I always look forward to these games as I can’t afford to travel up to the Mol once a fortnight.
What have I done?
Love is forever, Wolves are forever. I can’t do anything about that.
I don’t think he said all the right things mate e.g. the foreign lads have had their chance. Yes he said (not quoting verbatim) that we are a big club, sleeping giant, have a huge fan base, the place could explode given success on the pitch, etc., etc., but we’ve heard all that before. We need to stop going all goog goog ga ga over that kind of rhetoric. I could say that, anyone can say that. But I hear what you are saying and feel the pain, especially after Friday!
I don’t want to ruffle any feathers here but i hate it when this blog descends into pathetic expletive ridden rhetoric.
I hate it when it’s instigated and I hate it when usually sensible bloggers reply in kind.
We all get stick from time to time but I like to think that I can defend myself verbally without having to stoop down to sewer level.
Otherwise it turns into a childish tit for tat which leaves nowhere to go but pistols at dawn.
Grow up lads.
I’ve just remembered a discussion in The House of Commons between an old Tory MP and a thrusting young female. Can’t remember who they were.
The old Tory was denegrating the debating skills of the lady MP.
She replied:-
“I can give anybody here tit for tat”.
Quick as a flash he replied:-
“Tat!”.
Is there a nurse amongst our ranks? Preferably of the psychiatric variety.
After Friday night’s debacle I sat up till 2am devouring a rather nice bottle of red. Miserable and depressed I thought about the 56+ years I have been supporting Wolves. The good times and great players. My first Wolves game in 1963, my first visit to Molieux in 1969, the 1974 League Cup final, Flowers, Dougan, Wagstaffe, Bailey et all. I also thought of the awful times in the 1980’s but then remembered Stevie Bull. I briefly at one point toyed with stopping supporting Wolves altogether and of giving up on football in general especially as I find much about the money driven game nowadays distasteful. By the time I crawled up to bed I had dismissed such negativity however.
Then on Saturday morning I went mad. I was supposed to ring up and get 4 tickets for the Fulham away game on 18th March – BOG’s first game back after his 10 week cruise when a boozey day out in London awaits. Whether it was the fact I was number 7 in the queue despite ringing bang on 9am or the continual messages telling me the call was costing 13p a minute (plus my network provider’s usual charge) or even the sound of the familiar Black Country accent when I finally got through I don’t know but………….I ended up buying tickets for Reading away, Ipswich away and Brentford away as well as my 4 for Fulham. So with my season ticket I will now see each of our next 7 games home and away. Never seen 7 consecutive Wolves games before.
Nurse!
Nurse?
Hope you’ll find some mental health care provider before the end of that run of games – it could be a downward spiral to hell !
But, credit to a fan(atic): is there a fan of the year award ? However you may be disqualified having bought the tickets after using a performance enhancing drug.
Just joking Beds, you’re ideally located to follow lots of away games; I’m so disillusioned I still can’t find any hope in our prospects for the next few games.
That’s rich that is Bedford …the least I could have done is share your bottle of red.
Bristol and blackburn play mid week Bottom 3 by 5pm Saturday ?
To paraphrase Shakespeare:
“There is something rotten in the state of Molineux.”
Don’t know whether you guys have noticed but I don’t come on the blog anymore. Why ? because of people who call us brainless fuckers ! Unlike some of the keyboard warriors on here, I have had the privelidge of meeting about 20 of you. Stu & Jen, Mike & Lillian, Dave, Clive, The Doogooders, Cotswold, Wolfstroker, Stevie Showcase et al. Me and Sue love Wolves and it has been a pleasure to meet you guys but I have had enough of the w*****s who don’t like it that we have an oppinion. We all love Wolves and that is all that matters ? I do actually go to games if anyone wants to slag me off “AGAIN”. The bloggers can vouch that I was at Forest, Sheffield Wednesday, Stoke, Norwich – tbh why do I have to justify going to games ? This is my final post on here, don’t ever slag off people that you don’t know.
Hiya. Ian …. (and Sue) …
A lot of the decent folk on here totally hear what you say and treat with disdain the uncalled for and derisory personal comments.
Thankfully the biggest culprit seems to have taken a back seat BUT unfortunately there’s always someone else following close on the heels.
I would personally ask you mate not to give in to it …I find your posts extremely balanced and informative and it would be a great shame if some mindless attack on fans that only want Wolves to do well, succeeds in driving away ” the good guys”.
So please Ian …stay with it.
As for Larry … I would think more more of you as a person if you could find the grace to re-address your comments and manfully apologise for the upset you’ve caused…Thanks
Don’t do it Newark, just ignore the tossers and carry on writing on the blog.
I have not commented on this thread because I had my rant(s) last Friday night.
We were bloody awful and I defend anyone’s right to slag the team off when they are as shit as they were then. BUT idiots like Larry who come on making such crass remarks deserve all the shit they get.
If anybody wanst to come on and be an idiot please think again and piss off.
I shouldn’t take it personally Ian.
In common with quite a few regular contributors I’ve taken quite a bit of stick in the past from a certain person who seems to have disappeared up her/his own bottom, but it’s all water off a duck’s back to me.
When someone resorts to that sort of bile I see it as an argument won and just pity the poor oaf who can’t articulate an opinion in words of more than four letters.
Keep up the posts mate.
We don’t want the lunatics to take over the asylum!
“Water off a ducks back”
You and this bleeding pond, don’t you ever stop going on about your lake in the back of your Country residence.
Poor old Twix had to have a lie down after his 3 hour walk round the bleeding thing.
Glad you missed the letter S off the end of bile.
Yeah,
stop whining and be a man!!!
Mines a pint at the Ball!!
Hey Newark. If people like you drop away, then all there will be is people like them. Where will we be then, I ask.
I also ask the usually more restrained, civilised, bloggers not to respond in kind, as this drags down the whole blog, brings you down to their level and offends and alienates even more of the commenters we should be looking to encourage.
I know of one lady commenter who rarely posts now due to these inane antics.
Drove me to question why I bother commiting to one team at all when half the supporters have such bile in them….. one of the things that led me to leave altogether
You still here?. Joking aside mate, there has probably been a few of us who were near that , but chose to stay……. something to do with the heart…..
Even though you called me et al, i ask you to reconsider mate. Ignore the morons mate, you know we are not all like that. And …….. dont forget the end of season ballbash buddy.
Now now folks.. Wolves fans, and here in particular, have a right to wring their hands at the continuous torture that we endure but as DG says proper fans are stuck with our particular institution whatever happens..
Currently i.e. Even when we get shit loads of money we still have to go through the ringer..
My take re Fosun was simply to throw dosh at the problem say £100M and remind ourselves that we are prob potentially the third richest club but hey ho look what happens..not a lot..
As to this Larry chap (Amanda in disguise?)
– blog abuse is normally as rare here as Wolves are consistent ..it’s all getting a bit too much at the moment certainly for me..perhaps he ought to introduce himself at a bloggers bash I’m sure we would all be very accommodating..
That Wolves Sunday feeling is back to remind all ..I was thinking..KJ must be either wincing or pissing himself ..I myself am just looking forward to nxt season where I hope we are still in this division..
But then what happens regarding the promised land? Favourites again to go up no doubt ..I just hope we spend and replace that no5 / no 6 position..I put our situation mainly in the hands of our defence as we concede and then concede yet more..
I’m back and I’ve calmed down. And I am sorry for upsetting so many people and there’s no ‘but’ either, it just really winds me up that this is the only club that spends a fortune and raises expectations so damn high, just to crash them onto the rocks of despair.
I admit it, I came back from the pub bloody furious that we are all being led back down the same old garden path AGAIN!!! I was talking to a couple of guys who’d also been and they sounded close to suicide! This is not what it’s all about. Anybody who’s read my posts before would know that my stuff is generally tongue-in-cheek, but I lost it the other night! Why do we always have to be the team that gives others a hands-up? And generally at home!
I mean, I’ve got a couple of shit-fan mates who’ve only just stopped moaning about having Tony Pulis as manager at the Hawthorns (a most appropriate name for a place full of so many pricks). We might as well have stuck with Walter….at least he had some passion…
I dunno, I just get pissed off with it sometimes. There’s always next season I suppose.
Peace and good wishes to you all.
Don’t get pissed off just get pissed. COYW.!!!!
We’ve all been there Larry.
I tend to bash seven shades of s h 1 t out of my Jez Moxey inflatable wobblyman before I hit the keyboard.
Do you mean Fifty Shades DG ??
I think it’s sad that you actually admit to having shit fan friends.
There is medicine for that.
Usually comes in a pint glass with Banks’s written all over it.
Get yer arse to the Bloggers Ball and I will buy you one, or two, if Stuwolf pays me back that tenner he stole last year.
Larry,
Take my hat off to you mate, I apologise to you also as I genuinely thought you were a serious troll merchant.
Look forward to more posts from and to you in the future.
Come along to the end of season P’ss up and I will buy you a Vodka & Coke with Clive tenner.
Peace on you too.
Sorry couldn’t resist it.
Any idiot can mouth off and offend people Larry. Happens all the time.
Takes a bigger man to apologies though. Doesn’t happen enough.
Sorry. Typo. ‘Apologise’ not ‘apologies’.
Respect mate. Sometimes after you press the send button you look for the edit button, but then realise there aint one on here. All is good fella.
“Bash” is not the word Sue used when she told me about your inflatable doll, but I did say I wouldn’t tell, either!!!
Sorry Witley
Only just seen your ‘ meet for the usual skin full ‘
Mate .. luckily I couldn’t get away from work on time on Friday and I had to be back in early on Saturday
Normal boozing resuming shortly!
Don’t want to talk too much about the game apart from being a shambles
Maybe now dicko has scored he might start banging them in with support even though he isn’t busting a gut to get onto crosses
What I’m concerned about is the newspaper article’s in the weekend’s paper about costa
We signed him after the Liverpool game after playing out of his skin it wouldn’t surprise me ifcthey done a deal for us to buy him now then they buy in in summer, I wouldn’t blame him for going cause we are terrible, this season. The club needs to be knocked down and built again a lot of,deadwood around keep the decent younger players and few, bought ones and decent champ /prem players brought in cause we can afford the wages
I’m so embarrassed at the moment being a wolf but still support the club I love but we seem to be jinxed or something
I mean what other club would of,been bought by multi billionaires and then struggle in the championship???
I haven’t seen the newspaper articles about Costa, but I’m certain sure the deal to ‘buy’ Costa was simply a shrewd investment, as we were the only club able to buy him during our loan deal. It was with the intention of selling him on at a good profit at the end of the season. Hoh hum, it is a business after all.
To quote Frank Sinatra fellow bloggers
“And now the end is near blah blah bloody blah”
Our 10 weeks sojourn or thereabouts comes to an end soon and I should be back for Rotherham at home and Fulham away with Bedford Wolf – assuming he has organised the tickets for Craven Cottagd ok.
Just caught up on all blogs since Liverpool!
Good Lord what on earth has been going on guys!
Here in sunny and immensely sweaty Melbourne the free hotel Wifi (as we have now disembarked the cruise boat where Wifi costs a kings ransom) has enabled ping ping ping as texts and emails landed and our precarious position has become abundantly clear.
Never mind bloggers if we do sink – and I don’t think we will but I have to admit you never know, then the good news for us Bedford lads is fixtures quite close to our hovels!!!!
Bedford Wolf – hope you get this message
Hi Dave I should be home for Rotherham on 11th March – as we have decided not to stop over in Dubai for a week – so we can travel up maybe with Tim as usual. ( We are missing the grandchildren a great deal).
Got your message now regarding Ascot and Fulham that’s all fine with me.
Will be in touch when we arrive home.
For some stupid reason I can’t text or WhatsApp your phone – no idea why.
Just read the Blues report – sounded dreadful to be honest but things can only improve- can’t they?
Only one shit fan to my knowledge on the boat but 5 Wolves all ST holders mostly like me on retirement cruises. Despite the crap being served up I have missed the prematch chit chat and meal and bevvies in Wolvo and the guys and gals around me in WV2 Billy Quite Upper.
Can’t quite believe how well the albion are doing – I am amazed my ex colleagues have not send a ruck of gloating text messages comparing their excellent season with our dreadful performances.
If ever they get into Europe methinks time to emigrate…. oh the shame of it all.
Anyway have a great week bloggers and with reference to an earlier blog – we could be Darlington fans!!!
BOG – Wolves on a world tour!!!!
Mike (BOG)
Excellent news. The hidden sub-text to all that is of course that you are missing your beloved Wolves so much you can’t wait to get bak ‘ome (as Noddy Holder might say).
Rotherham at home on 11th March it is – I’ll drive. Will be the first home game I’ll have travelled up to in 2017 NOT all on my lonesome. Not seen Tim since November. Fortunately have been meeting up with nice bloggers at the APV pre-match so not had to be a total Billy No Mates. As I posted the other day I have gone a bit barmy and am going to see us at Reading away and Ipswich away before the Rotherham game.
Fulham all booked – 4 of us, tickets and train both booked and lunch at the Red Lion in Westminster booked for 12 noon. It’s going to be a great day out so get your drinking trousers on!
Hi BW – thanks for booking Fulham tickets Bud.
I will transfer funds soonest.
We could be joined in the Red Lion by 3 old Wolves school mates as they are travelling to the smoke by early train from Wolvo.
Suggest catch the river taxi again to Putney Bridge.
Be in touch when we arrive home to Bedford.
BOG
NB been on St Kilda beach all day in abc out of the deep blue Tasman sea.
Weather in Melbourne is just perfect.
About 33 deg C and not a cloud to be seen.
Just like UK eh….
Sorry to gloat!
Yeah, yeah, yeah – but here in good old England it is Pancake Day! Who wants hot sun, blue skies, sand and sea now eh?
Mr. BOG
Kindly refrain from using the word that goes at the end of Brighton and Hove, and Burton.
There has been enough foul and abusive language on this current blog.

Quite right – an unforgivable mistake.
Profuse apologies to all.
BOG.
A couple of points for consideration some of which will show my age! Derrrr:
You cannot just Buy a team and land instant success – Lionel Pickering done that in 1992 off Robert Maxwell at Derby CFC. He paid millions and brought in millions in Gabiadini, Kitson, Simpson (arh Paul Simpson) and others although 5 years later they got to the holly grail
I don’t think deep down anyone expected this “to be our year” before Fosun and even then I felt we needed a settled team, management and to perform like we can not only get there but also retain our place, lets face it, we’re far from that today!
Yes Fosun (I believe) will stick with this “project” and turn us into top half Prem, but, that will need some time and lots of investment (and not just money!)
So, with PL on a one year contract, even Fosun wasn’t 100% sure and with the mis-guidance of Jorge Mendes and some of the “continued crop” of senior aids (management) I think they will right this season off – however, I sure they didn’t plan to start next year in league 3
Now all good businesses (& make no mistake this is a business to Fosun) needs good foundations – tick
It then needs pillars of strength to hold it up – un fekin tick (no direction or so it seems at present, same back room that wasn’t successful for some year now, no plan B (not the singer) and lack of consistency in the playing staff
Then the pillars hold the roof structure up – being the playing team and fringe players too…. and will this all holding strong, the “project” will work – keep the faith
As for now, well we haven’t really had major injuries (yes, I know Graham, Zyro, Williamson – but we do have upto No.64 in our squad) this year, it’s been a settled team, but the team is so inconsistent they we never know who or how they will play – remember Aresnal we always win 1:0 – well fek me, with wolves its we never know whats coming – good or bad
Us fans will continue to support as the first time you go through the turnstyle you get injected with some new DNA – so I guess we’re a bit Jason Boune!
But rest assured my friends, rest assured Fosun will come good – no not with the current management/staff/players – but we can all write the team sheet today and I think the majority of fans could write the squad members that can be saved for maybe 2 or 3 yrs time (& yes they are mostly from the foundations)
So lift your chins up my lovelies, look at the big box, think outside the envelope and if all else fans DRINK LOTS OF BANKS’S as it numbs the pain.
PS, does everyone agree that Marshall is probs the best No.64 we’ve ever seen at the Mol????

When all else fails, there’s always Ketamine. If it was good enough for Red Rum it’s plenty good enough for us, probably cheaper than a pint nowadays too.
And Red Rum spelt backards is Murder.
I am not making comment about how utterly shit we played as it has already been said by all of you writing before me.
What I have noticed though, and is it just me, that of these 140 odd posts on this thread, that so many “new” bloggers have come on here to moan, and some bloggers who have not been on here for sometime are back on again to just moan.
Ok we all know or believe we know what needs to be done, but I get a tad pissed off when “some” people just come on here to revel in our failings.
That said – Come on Lambo sort this mess out mate – we am Wolves and we are better than this.
Yo, Brompt.
Get yer gramma write.
It’s either We am Wolves, and we am better than this, or it’s We are Wolves and we are better than this.
I ay moanin’ that’s the job of Mr.CFH, just sayin’, loike
Er, Clive, er isn’t it “gramma right” and not “gramma write”
I’ll check with a mate of mine lata as e’s got a phd in fekhall
Jeg vil skrive i norsk da, så du kan ikke velge feil.
and fuck off w… b… to you, too!!
Brompton
We are a nation of moaners….
When all is well people tend not to comment. its a bit like politics
When someone gets elected the losers tend to start moaning about the winner..
What pisses me off more is half the moaners don’t actually attend the games…
But are more than happy to turn up when things are going well..
Brompto.
On the subject of moaning.
Over the weekend I was told by one of the Disabled supporters, “he was not surprised with Lambert suspending Hause and Graham as he’s seen them in Nando’s quite a few times pissed up”.
My mate Mick (youv’e met him) called me last night and told me, ” Hause and Graham were pissed when they arrived for training”.
This is in the news today, seems to confirm their fears.
Bad business this if it’s true, which it appears to be. Silly boys indeed, so where’s this backs to the wall we’re all in it together do or die mentality. Look what they did to McDonald for Gambling, are we to see these two disappear too.
http://www.expressandstar.com/sport/wolverhampton-wanderers-fc/2017/02/27/wolves-pair-kortney-hause-and-jordan-graham-werent-able-to-train/
There’s a cancer somewhere in this club of ours.
If it’s a one-off then, hey, they’re young lads and made a mistake.
If it’s repeated behaviour, come down on ’em hard.
Yeah I read that earlier mate. We (us fans) really need to see this sorted, as, as you say, there is something within that is spreading and needs sorting now.
As Stroker Boy also says, if it is a one-off then hey ho, it has been dealt with so let’s move on – if not , then they are fools to themselves and should expect to be dealt with accordingly.
I, you and many other regular bloggers will come on here and praise when praise is due and moan when we have been let down. But what annoys me is those who ONLY appear on here to do the latter…….. really pisses me off.
Just got six tkts for Fulham away. We are all mad ay we. 6.45 train from wolves. Euston at 8.30. Spoons in Leicester Square or the 2 in Hammersmith about 9. Bloody hell you need a drink to watch us at the moment. But Wolves Ay We !
3
ive got tickets too … but might not be able to make it. not sure if thats a bad thing.
grumble grumble
We will be in the Eight Bells by Putney Bridge about 130pm – great ‘away’ pub – 4 of us, me, BOG, Rhys ‘Lightning’ and my Spurs supporting son-in-law Ben (Wolves for the day though!). We ‘start’ about 11am at The Red Lion in Westminster next to the Houses of Parliament as think BOG wants to hurl abuse at any passing politician!
Fosun read our Blog.
Just saying lads and lasses…………..
I really wish Lambert would !
And there was me rationalising that we had a Jekyll and Hyde sort of team. Perform magnificently against three PL teams in the FA Cup but can’t buy a win in the Championship. WTF! Maybe there’s more to it. StuWolf above says: ” Hause and Graham were pissed when they arrived for training”. That brings back memories of Roger Johnson, just after the 5-0 hammering at Fulham in the PL. We went down then and we could go down now.
If Ranieri can get the boot at Leicester, Lambert is in big trouble. Lambert was my first choice as coach and I still think he can take us places but foreign owners, in particular, are known to be trigger happy.
Birmingham are actually a decent team and were top six material under their last coach. They looked a class above us on Friday.
They’d won one in their last fourteen Dances. Don’t sound very decent to me. And 10 men too!
Agreed, but they were a decent team until they sacked Gary Rowett to get “a big name” in and it backfired on them. Rowett had them in with a chance of the playoffs.
Zengas record was better than Lamberts … just saying
jackets is better than both… just saying
And Stan Cullis better than all of them put together!!
Let’s move FORWARDS, not dwell in the past!!
And that is a moving direction, not a bid for a Burnley full back!
Just putting this out there
According to Paul Franks on the WM phone in tonight Lambert has been told by Jeff he has 3 games to turn it around..
Like I say just heard it that’s what he said might be true might not be…
I’m on your side with that Nige, heard it last night from a mate also. Lambert and the team were dragged in to Compton yesterday.
Whether you go to matches or not the fact people take the time and trouble to come on here and offer a comment on all things Wolves is good enough for me. I fully understand the moaning. Fuckin hell we have endured 2 seasons of absolute shite. I would be more surprised if some geezer came on and said how joyously they have been entertained. We are a wounded animal. Eventually we WILL come out snarling and unite as an unstoppable force once again. Right back to me lager and settle down for Leicester v Liverpool.
Get your money out ready for Saturday, Hazell Berry is running at Wolverhampton and it’s worth a dabble. Form books have got him as a slow starter but looks great over the sticks (barbecue), check him out. He’s worth a Tanner.
He ran last week and theDoogooder was fuming cos he DNF.
Question…
Does anyone know if the season ticket refund still applies if we get relegated…
I have tried contacting the club on this but no reply…
I will renew anyway because I’m a stupid Wolves fan who cant miss a game no matter how bad thing get…
I know it was stated that the refund wouldn’t happen if we got Promoted…(What)
But I don’t think anyone in our new brilliant marketing department had considered the alternative to promotion…
The entire Wolves squad visited the Bilston Orphanage today.
“It’s heartbreaking to see their sad little faces with no hope”
Said six year old James.
Good news and bad news.
First the good news. My blood tests came in and my doctor told me they are going to name a disease after me. Only joking! No, the Wolves blood tests came in and they have been officially cleared of using performance enhancing drugs, mainly on the overwhelming evidence that there have been no enhanced performances. Feckin’ zombies was the medical term used.
The bad news is that the chopsticks are out for Paul Lambert.

Good, shout stuwolf about hazell berry I shall.put a few quid on that cheers!

Gentlemen,
A friend of mine has two tickets in a corporate box for the Ireland v England rugby match on 18th March. He paid £300 each, but he didn’t realise when he bought them that it was going to be on the same afternoon as his wedding. If you are interested, he is looking for someone to take his place.
It’s at the Registry Office, on Grand Canal Street, at 4.30 p.m. The bride’s name is Nicole — she’s 5’4″, about 115 lbs, quite pretty and is a really good cook. She’ll be the one in the white dress
If it’s true that Lambert has been given 3 games to turn things around, I hope the players have been given ultimatums too. Sad fact is tho, that financially none of the players will suffer if they are told to get on their bikes and do one, unlike in the real world if you’re shite at your job!!
My team for the future.

Nothing contreversial in there.
I think I’d go with Frankowski up top – and TC as manager.
I could not for the life of me drag his name back into my memory banks so settled for the next worst cardboard cut out
He’s at it again!
That holier than thou M62 tent dweller.
Check out the prediction league.
Chalkie the friggin’ cheat has two entries, and probably has sneaked in a few more.
Come the thankful end of this season, the snively little cheat is going to start crying and bitching about how he’s been conned out of the title, when it’s him doing the conning!
I think Thomas should ban him forthwith, and if he turns up at the Bloggers Ball with last year’s T shirt, with the self proclamation of “winner”, he should be defrocked and slung in West Park Lake!
What a low down snake belly!!
Jealousy gets you nowhere yankee boy. Get your predictions right and you become a winner like me. What raised me from mid table mediocrity to 2nd spot was the fact that I predicted two correct scores and one correct result in the last 5 games. The table does not lie.
I am getting my “Runner Up” T Shirt prepared for the BallBash as we speak lol
No one wants to be winner like you, coz not only do you cheat, but you are round.
Dont get personal old man.
Oh, I forgot to add, had I not been so stupid I would have had another two points but used a wrong email address. MarinWolf will be able to relate to that as that is what he did and that is what stopped him winning last year hee hee.
Current
Ikeme Doherty Blank Blank Hause Blank Graham Blank Iceman blank Costa
5 players +
Ronnon Edwards blank blank blank 3 subs
Needed..
Terrible situation
25 man squad for 2017/18
Need 4 quality additions e.g. Dann (Palace), Robertson (Hull), Pritchard (Norwich), Assombolonga (Forest) – and a new manager (Denis Bergkamp?) and a new head of recruitment.
Ikeme
Doherty NEW Hause NEW
Saiss Ronan
Costa NEW Cavaleiro
NEW
Subs: Burgoyne, Iorfa, Oninangue, Enobakhare, Graham, Dicko, Bodvarsson
Plus: Flatt, Coady, Williamson, Deslandes, Gibbs-White, Marshall, Zyro
Adios to Lonergan, Batth, Stearman, Borthwick-Jackson, Silvio, Ebanks-Landell, Price, Edwards, Evans, Saville, Henry, Wallace, Weimann, Gladon
Agree with most of your squad Bedford but would also axe Ikeme (too much of a liability), maybe keep him in reserve. I’d also sell both Dicko and Bodvarsson. I think we need 3 new strikers. Although I like Dicko and Bod, Dicko is too bulky and got no confidence, Bodvarsson runs a lot but cant stick it in the net.
I’d also keep Lambert, cos keep chopping the manager just means we have to keep starting again all the time.
If we sell Costa to Liverpool as the rumours suggest, then I’d be seriously questioning Fosun’s commitment to us.
Oliver, sorry, I have no doubt that Costa will go to the PL next season. Liverpool, Spurs or even Chelsea, for about £25mil. Our season has gone AWOL and it’s not even over yet, a massive disappointment. No way will Costa be happy staying with a Championship club fighting relegation.
I’d have axed Ikeme some time ago. Young Harry never let us down, unlike Carl. Bodvarsson huffs and puffs a lot but can’t stick it in the net as you observed. I wonder what he’s like at sex?!
Although he’s one of my favorite wolves players, it really doesn’t have big consequences. J.Graham, the player he was supposed to replace, return s soon. So does Zyro.
The money from the sale will probably be used to strengthen other areas, such as a world class central defender.
Bodvarson … he gave a lot of us the clap!
Let’s hope you never have to find out mate.
You don’t want to end up with Icelandic clap.
Leicester talking to Hodgson. If that falls through I hope it’s not Woy of the Wolves. He’s wubbish, we’d be welegated…
Maybe Fosun could find a job for this man…? Seems to be well qualified.
https://www.theguardian.com/football/2017/mar/01/jordi-cruyff-maccabi-tel-aviv-sacked-himself-manager
See Wilson scored again for the u23s
Just saying like !
And Jeff Shi was there watching him, hope he tells PL to feckin play him not warm his bum on the bench FFS.
I don’t think I want the owners to start picking the team Stu. Slippery, slippery slope.
Prince scored again, can we bring him back ! Or is he gone for the season!!
A better question might be who the hell decided we should loan him out in the first place on the basis that Evans/Saville/Edwards/Price were all better than him? Thelwell? Lambert? Nigel Farage?
If Nigel Farage had been manager at this club, we’d have been out of it by now.
Thought Fosun wanted wolves in Europe ?
Dear Bloggers,
I am taking a break for a while, so, apart from putting down some sort of legal prediction, every now and then, you will be pleased to see no other posts from me.
Be good and play fair.
Just read article about Jordi Cruyff sign him up Jeff the blokes a genius like his dad, he the sort of person I’ve been talking about whe n I’ve been saying get football people in key positions like Director of Football he qualifies alone by birth he doing the job at Tel Avive and doing a good joba at that has his coaching badge as well, won Premier League with Man United……………..surely it’s worth trying cannot be any worse than Therwelll.
I’m deadly serious folks Jordi Cruyff or Kevin Therwelll its a no brainier and he already doing the job.
Come on Jeff Fosun show some balls some ambition sound out Cruyff…………!
