If I had to make one bet about Wolves this season it would be…that Dennis Bergkamp is less likely than ever to be seen in the Asda car park this season.
if i had to make one bet about wolves this season it would be…. that we do the double over walsall whilst discovering some real gems of talent in our youngster’s to enable us to win back to back promotions to the promised land. WOLVES AY WE! come on lets drag this wounded war horse home!!!
is gaining promotion 1 way or another!
Moxey won’t back the manager with funds to rebuild the team.
If I had to make one bet about Wolves this season, it would be… that they will make me smile, cry, jump with joy and shake my head in despair. But in the end I’ll still be wolves through and through!
If I had to make one bet about Wolves this season, it would be
WE WILL GO STRAIGHT BACK UP,
WE WILL WIN A CUP,
FOREVER WE ARE WOLVES!! 🙂 🙂 X
If I had to make one bet about Wolves this season its’s the sneaky signings of Messi, Ronaldo and Rooney will shoot us straight to the League 1 title and promotion into the Championship and beyond!!
If I had to make one bet about wolves this season, it would be… The double !! League champions and lev trophy winners 🙂 FWAW
If I had to make one bet about wolves this season, it would be that we will not be changing the manager for I believe KJ will be successful in gaining this great club promotion.
If I had to make one bet about wolves this season, it would be that we will be so proud of our youngsters come the end of season when we go up.
If I had to make one bet this season it would be for Stephen Ward to win the Grand National.
My one bet on this season is that, whatever happens, Moxey will still be CEO next year.
If I had to make one bet on wolves it will be Kenny Jackett will be there next season !!!! Up the wolves
If I had to make one bet on wolves it will be we won`t be relegated at the end of next season.
If i had to make one bet this year it would be… that robbie keane still turns us down for another team that is in a similar position and scores the goals that help kill us!!
If I had to make one bet about Wolves this season………………………….. It would be with someone else’s money. Things at the Mol are so unpredictable.
If I had to make one bet about the Wolves this season it would be that when I wear my new Wolves home shirt – which I won in a competition organised by Thomas and given free courtesy of Ladbrokes – to the last game of the season at home to Carlisle, we will already be Champions of League One.
XXL please Thomas.
oooooooh you rather portly geezer with dubious parentage !
How dare you!
It’s the length I need not the width.
As the actress said to the Bishop.
why is it that we only grow wider rather than taller and I cant grow hair on me head but cant stop it sprouting every bleedin where else..sorry scibe doogy but the truth will set you free
I can tell you oldgoldy that the Doog is 6′ 4, not fat at all and masses of silver grey hair. On his head that is. I can’t vouch for anywhere else, honest.
you really love the doog don’t you martin ? would doog have made a good manager though ?
If I had to make a bet about Wolves it would be that I will be proud of my team at some point, and will be the only one to be so in the state of Kansas, USA. UP THE WOLVES!
That whatever the League we’re in the left hand will never know what the right hand’s doing!
If I had to make a bet about Wolves it would be that Roger Johnson would turn up to training drunk and the only way Jamie Ohora will score is with his misses
He cannot score if he misses, but to miss he must first shoot, and that presupposes he gets a game, and if he does then that means our new manager, sorry “head coach” is having his strings pulled by funklebollocks the greasel, and THAT means all bets are off as far as progress is concerned, so I aint betting.
Anyroad, I gotta scarf which is much better than a shirt which will be out of date in a year, so there!!!
But we’ed all like to score with his missus!!
I surrender in the proxy war, well played!
ill bet ohara is a really poor THIRD tier substitute
and how that would make me laugh !!
If I had to put a bet it would be for Bjorn sigurdarson to do a bully , back to back promotion , also a double golden boot and for Danny batth to win wolves player of the year ! Odds on that please ! Forever we are wolves !
If I had to make a bet about Wolves this season it would be that hot-head Morgan won’t be yelling at the players in the dressing room after losing 3-0 to Liverpool in the Prem; ‘cos we won’t be playing them again, thanks to him! We’ll be playing Morcambe instead.
Oh yes, Jackett calls it the New Era! The Era of League 1. It’s going to be so exciting! 🙂
If I had to make a bet about wolves this season, it would be that although I am in my 60’s and healthy The fat controller Moxey will still be CEO of by beloved club come my judgement day. …( What a nauseating thought.)
If I had to make a bet about Wolves this season it would be that if I won this competition, before I got my prize Moxey would have released a new home shirt for the season so I’d still have to buy one anyway!!
If I had to make one bet about Wolves this season it would be that 2 more managers will be sacked, 3 starters will be out for the whole year, and Leigh Griffiths will net 53 goals.
If I had to make a bet about Wolves it would be that we win League One championship by at least 15 points.
I bet all the fans that av said they ay going anymore, will soon be back when we start winning 😉
Wolves ay we 🙂
My 1 bet would be that moxey will be supplying the pies this season, but sales will be down as S.E.B will be leaving 😉
If I had to make one bet about Wolves this season it would be…that a competition like this will make loads of people comment that otherwise you wouldn’t hear from! 🙂
cos somethings free….I want a Yeovil shirt 🙂
If I had to make one bet about Wolves this season it would be,
If we do well Moxey will take the credit, if we do badly he won’t take the blame.
Actually the exact opposite of this is true.
I don’t understand that one Kevin, please explain.
If we do well nobody will be crediting Moxey.
If we do badly everybody will be criticising him.
Like now, only much much worse.
All the numpties on here who fail to appreciate that without some moneyman’s backing we’d have no club at all imagine that there is a simple correlation between spending huge amounts of money and gaining success.
That might be true for the likes of Man Utd, Barcelona, Bayern Munich & co, but it’s not ever going to be true for the amounts of money the likes of Wolves can chuck around.
One thing Moxey may well be doing is ensuring that the club still exists in ten year’s time because it is run responsibly whatever the success or failure on the field.
Wolves double relegation is down to poor performances by the players and two poor managerial appointments in Connor and Saunders – not Moxey or his money, however implicated he is in decision making.
As fans we need to forget Moxey and Morgan and give Kenny Jackett all the support he’ll need to turn this tanker around from heading for the rocks. (And cross fingers he’s proves himself an able and tough manager)
Not the opposite of what i said at all. I inferred he’s a man who likes to take the credit for thing’s going well and cries scapegoat when thing’s go wrong.
Also, not rating Moxey’s performance while he has overseen our descent into the third tier does not make me or any other Wolves fan a ‘numpty’. I had hoped we had heard the last of those childish insults when McCarthy left.
I’m entitled to my opinion and i recognise, unlike you, that that is all it is, an opinion, not a fact.
Here is another view that might interest you from TubaWolves posted on ‘Hello, i must be going’ today June 21, 2013 at 3:27 PM . Some numpty this guy!
Despite being desperately depressed about our current predicament I was hoping our demise to league one would at least see changes at the club (and I don’t mean the whipping boys ie: our previous 2 managers). I was hoping against hope Steve Morgan would see it is not all about money but the need to speculate to accumulate in modern day football.
All the talk through the club means little to me as with many of you it is like listening to a Middle Eastern tyrant – plenty of rhetoric but no substance and little truth.
The thing that really got to me, really worries me and to be honest makes me feel physically sick is Moxey’s latest comment – “I think we know what we are doing” in reference to the two promotions since 2003. Jez are you joking? I have always believed you feel Wolves supporters are beneath you and from the comments of those who have had dealings with you I understand you can be aloof and patronising but you have got to be having the laugh of your life! Some of us share boardrooms and we understand your style of rhetoric, we hear it every day and quite frankly it is mostly a method of creating a smokescreen to disguise bigger issues. You have proved you know nothing about football – football by the way is the product of Wolverhampton Wanderers Football Club just in case you need reminding. The product you have resided over for 13 years is out of date, fails in the market and does not meet the description as laid down under trading standards – YOU HAVE FAILED MR JEZ MOXEY! 100%, absolutely and categorically in terms of your product.
Those who choose to support your methods including Mr Morgan do so because they share your lack of product knowledge. Succinctly put they don’t know what they are talking about in football terms! Now commercially you have some attributes – but again the most commercially productive earner is revenue from the football team i.e. being in the premier league. And you have failed miserably to secure this highly lucrative commercial contract – so are you even any good at the commercial side? Probably not – do the decent thing and go – your comment re “we know what we are doing” for me was your final idiotic statement – who are you trying to convince? Ring up Steve Kindon and ask him to recite his favourite poem to you – it’s called ‘The man in the Glass’. After digesting it and listening to it a thousand times, as it will take that long for you to understand as it is about personal responsibility. You should then decide it is in the best interests of WWFC for you to go. Then and only then will our great club begin to climb back up the road to recovery! You have had your chance just like McCarthy, Solbaken and Saunders or have you also changed your name to Jez Teflon!!!!!
Praise the Lord and pass the ammunition!!
well said mart.. he got on our tube about 7 years ago and the bloke looked so uncomfortable he got off the next station and got a tube..no one was being abusive or aggressive in fact everyone was just chatting about football with him. I felt that it was below him to stand with the fans ! I bet sir jack would have loved it !
don’t you just love the” flower power generation?”….make my day and shoot a hippy – or just sack the lardy one
Kevin, if in your job, during the last three years, you had as much ‘success’ as Moxey, would you have a job?
I doubt it…..
What success has Moxey achieved in the past three years?
larger trousers and more face to shave…either morgan is out of his comfort zone or its all about money. id like to see carol vordeman as our ceo myself :))
are you citizen smith kev?
Moxeys money??? MOxey doesn’t have any money in Wolves, he is a leach who takes a huge salary, has made dreadful decisions, yes the same poor management appointments you allude to and has shown a total disregard for the paying public since his substantial arse squeezed through the gates. He lets players contracts run down when they could be assets (eg Blake) and gives ridiculously long and large terms to mercenaries (eg Johnson and Ocantbearsed). This is one heck of a misguided set of sentences …is it Mrs Moxey in disguise with an attempt to save the fat man huge quantity of bacon?>
Sack the fat man for a brighter future
I understand that a lot of people do blame Moxey for our current state. Maybe some of the things that are said are valid. I don’t know, but what I do know is that it is a very comfortable thing to slag him off entirely, often in most abusive terms, when most people (including me) have absolutely no idea about his role at the club, nor his influence on the team’s performances.
Maybe he’s no PR man, maybe he knows little about football. But even if those things are true he’s still put his money into the club and into developing the stadium and training facilities towards achieving a world class status to match the club’s historical significance to world football.
I wonder how many of the bigmouth slaggers off of Moxey would be prepared to make the same financial investment in the club if they suddenly became multimillionaires by means of a Lotto win?
I’m not necessarily pro-Moxey, clearly he must carry some of the blame about what has happened to the club over the past two years, but I do think that a lot of the ordure that’s being flung at him is offensive, unintelligent and undeserved.
I think Wolves fans are better than that.
Respect your opinion Kevin but Jez Moxey is a paid executive he does not put his own money into the club.
one word ….stoke
You don’t know his role??? Google CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER role. He is the man in charge of the executive team and therefore culpable for the decisions of the club. If he has the title CEO and lets say Morgan and before him Sir Jack were making the decisions then he is a spineless individual who should have exposed the poor management of the club but I can bet the inept decisions that have been made dating back to giving the Baggies the South Bank, not investing when Jones got us promoted and the many cock ups in the last three years have all passed his desk in the later stages of making decisions. The buck stops with the fat man.
Sack the fat man for a brighter future
we have yet another new manager before february 2014
may be well before that lizzy baby.
If I had to make one wish about Wolves this season, it would be that our great club was no longer associated with vile, misery-making, greedy money-making vampiric immoral betting companies like Ladbrokes.
If I had to make one bet about Wolves this season, it would be…that we’ll experience highs and lows but, above all else, it won’t be a dull season. It never is!
If I had to make one bet about the Wolves this season it would be that when I wear my new Wolves home shirt – Kindly donated by Ladrokes it would be that by Christmas the fat man will be talking about the difficulty of moving players on in the summer as being the problem during this rebuilding season and the need to maintain the balance of the wage bill whilst doing everything in his power to help move the team into a promotion push and put pay to the possibility of going from mid table to another relegation battle…
Hope Im wrong but lets sack the fat man now just in case…
If I had to make one bet about Wolves this season, it would be…our young players being proud to put on the gold and black.
If I had to make one bet about Wolves this season, it would be……That Christophe Berra sacks his deluded agent after the overworked and underpaid fool has unsuccessfully courted him around every top flight club in Europe. Finally, After Mad Mick decides that Stearman is a better gamble at £500K, he will end up re-signing for us on a free after a piece of Moxey’s notoriously ‘tough’ negotiating. Morgan will regognise this superb work by giving him a pay rise and extending his contract by a further 10 years. Everyone’s a winner!
You’ll be eating your words when Berra is playing a starring role in the Fulham defense snatching the ball off the toes of Van Persie, slaloming with the ball through half-a-dozen challenges from midfield players and setting Berbatov in on goal with a superb pinpoint pass.
Meanwhile in other news Jamie O’Hara has been awarded Wolves Supporters’ Player of the Year Trophy for the 2012/23 season, narrowly defeating Roger Johnson by a handful of votes.
And in further news, Leigh Griffiths has been awarded Childrens BBC’s role model of the year award!
If I had to make one bet about Wolves this season, it would be that we’ll still be playing in old gold and black at Molineux (I don’t like ‘long-shots’…).
If i had to make one bet About wolves this season is that jamie o hara will not be playing in the premier league.
If I had one bet about Wolves this season it would be that Leigh Griffiths would be arrested.
oops too late.
on a more serious note
If I had to make one bet about Wolves this season, it would be at 40 -1 with Paddy Power that we will be relegated.
It’s called insurance. Having said that given that this squad couldn’t beat Luton and they are 2 levels below us even now, and with 4 to go down instead of last season’s 3…. it don’t look like a bad bet !!
I regret not taking your advice, about November last year ,to bet on us to be relegated !
I thought you were being pessimistic but actually you were being realistic….
Away for couple of days checked in to Wolves news – no one wants to buy our players and someone arrested – business as usual.
The Leigh Griffiths incident sounds like something and nothing someone mouthing off at him for not staying at hibs. He could be the bit of devilment McCarthy said he couldnt find.
Some great entries for the competition if i think i can win it will get back to you.
http://www.teamtalk.com/wolverhampton-wanderers/8787293/Griffiths-charged-with-assault-
With his past to be expected….
I’d bet that Leigh Griffiths is League One’s top scorer this season, gets the BBC Sports Personality of the Year Award. and becomes a Middle East Peace Envoy.
Breaking News!
‘Strait’ says that there have been no enquiries for Jamie O’Hara.
Well! I’m completely gobsmacked.
He’s a Premier League player.
I know because he said so.
Yeah, but sadly they only speak Hyperbole on Planet O’Hara.
Roughly translated…..’Premier League’ means League One (if fit).
He is on sale on EBAY the bidding is up to 200,000 so far.

If I had to make one bet about Wolves this season it would be this: at some point in the upcoming campaign, the board will admit that sacking Terry Connor/Stale Solbakken/Dean Saunders was a huge mistake.
If I had to make one bet about Wolves this season, it would be that Leigh ‘Not For Sale’ Griffiths will be sold in January (because, as we all know, a bit of short term money making is far more important than long term success on the football field).
If I had to make one bet about Wolves this season it would be, walking proudly into Fado’s Irish pub in Atlanta wearing the outstanding black & gold shirt and have no fear sitting between the Arsenal, United and the hated West Brom fans too. So what if we are not in the Premiership, I still love me Wolves…
If I had to make one bet about Wolves this season, it would be that we’ll see our friend Jez Moxey on Sky Sports at the Morecambe game devouring one of their world famous pies. Yum yum!
Although its all newspaper reports at the moment looks like Kevin Philips has been offered a player/coaching role at Wolves and has turned it down. Interesting that KJ is looking for a coach. At Millwall he was a pragmatic opportunist who brought a lot of players in (and out) of the club. In his latest comment he has hinted that with the infra-structure in place at Wolves he will have to do things slightly differently. But in the short term i think some news faces from wherever maybe a good thing as the team certainly needs to find a new identity.
If I had to make one bet about Wolves this season it would be…That I will end up buying my own shirt again as I never win anything…
Transfer-listed players…O’Hara, Johnson, Henry and…
Ward!
Now to wait for Mr Clive from Houston to find that out 🙂
A positive step forward in the transfer listings- if we are to genuinely move forward.
I’m a bit saddened with Henry on the list- local boy and all- but needed unfortunately.
Ohara- Johnson- I’ll drop them off myself wherever they go. (The tip, maybe?)
I can see Henry at Ipswich…
So, incoming?????
I fail to see why Steveo Wardinho is on the list.
He has been our most consistent player for the past 4 seasons.
Always shit, never a reasonable, mediocre or good game, just shit.
At least OHairless and Roger Drunkson had a couple of good games, but Ward, always, always garbage.
Jackett has done the easy part, putting them on the list, now it needs a super dooper salesman to actually find a buyer.
What about Foley, Edwards, Doyle and the rest, the names I have actually forgotten at the moment!!
Hope you all in Wolverhampton Wanderers Land are doing OK, the weather in Houston is a miserable, stinking, humid 96 degrees.
I cant raise the glimmer of a smile about next season yet, but I suppose my usual apathy will kick in at some point.
Have a lovely summer, boys and girls, I’m off to Florida soon for a relaxing time, with margaritas and mojitos, sun, sand and anything else beginning with s.
Stephen Ward begins with S
I hope you’ll be very happy together!
“I’ve spoken to the four lads who have gone on the transfer list because I want to be honest with them and tell them that they are not part of my plans,” Jackett said.
Everything Strait has said so far ticks another box for me.
Good man!
im just waiting for him to tell moxey the same
Fantastic news. The best news out of molineux for several years. Get rid asap and moxey, dont wait until the last minute to squeeze the last penny out of the deal. This move is massive. It gives complete control of dressing room to jackett. No one will mess with him or they will be out. For the first time in ages i feel a little bit positive. There have been many false dawns so lets get them out first, esp o hara.
Karl Henry in Leicester discussing a move apparently???
would that be a sideways move bannybury mate 🙂
That’s what he’s good at.
maybe if the goals were at either side of the pitch hed have had more success
Dont bank on it, the daft buggar would still go crab wise.
I cant wait to see the departures. I saw in one of KJs comments some of the players still at his disposal. Names I had forgotten, once the underperforming earners have gone we will still have a big squad, not sure how strong but looks like he intends to find out quickly.
Thinking about it one of the biggest indictments of Moxey has to be how the hell we ended up with so many on the payroll, hopefully Morgan and moxey will relax a bit once we have that under control.
Good point re numbers on the books – bit of a slip up there and possibly stopped SS bringing in the defenders he wanted. Lets hope same doesn’t happen with KJ but not holding my breath. Long term, lucrative contracts was another poor one – if no one wants these b*gg*rs we will have to pay them off.
Yes if some are not gone I dodnt want them near the new team. We will never really know but was it a coincidence the fighting spirit in the dressing room went once O’Hara got his contract and Johnson arrived.
10.55 am.
A fine Wednesday morning. Sleeping bag, shiraz and blow stowed safely away.
The present Mrs D’G’er dressed in her best floaty dress and hair garlanded with flowers.
Off to Glastonbury for a bit of hedonism.
See you all on Monday.
Mind she doesnt step on any air vents!
Mr DG – are you the one waving the 70s vintage Wolves flag in front of the stage each year. Glastonbury’s not real until I’ve seen that on the telly!
If you get Jaggers autograph could let my Danny Hegan signed programme go ?
No I’m not but I’ve found out who he is and will explain all soon.
But will you remember anything!???
Dont hold your breath on Wolves ‘targets’ just seen jez drop Mr J off at Tesco Express.
Here’s a question for everybody out there. Henry, Johnson, Ward and presumably Doyle are on theeir way out, but as yet I don’t think the question of who is going to be the new team captain has been raised (unless I’ve missed it!).
Who would be your choice for captain?
My vote would be for Wayne Hennessey.
Hennessey always seemed a little quiet for me to be captain, and couldn’t really get stuck in to a tackle to get the players fired up that way so I would suggest Danny Batth, good solid centre half….failing that I would say Jamie O’Hara as he is a Premier League player who all the other lads could learn something from….
UTW
Early days yet, as we are not really sure who will be around. In some ways Wayne would be candidate and as we have seen he can get fired up. Capatains between the sticks are not ideal in my book, but anyone who can lead and inspire and kick ass when needed is fine.
I really like to see skippers in mid field or defence. I have a strong feeling that our new skipper might not be with the club yet. Not sure thats good either but meanwhile give the job to Jez.
Good weekend guys
Skipper Mike Bailey.
He could still give all the young punks a good bollocking.
Best captain I have ever seen in a Wolves shirt, with Emlyn Hughes a close second for fire and passion.
The really, really old supporters will no doubt say Billy Wright, but I don’t actually recall seeing him play, so maybe he was the all time bestest skipper we’ve ever had.
DOOGooder, you must have spent your late teenage years watching The Fabulous Fifties team, how good were the captains back then??!!
You’re a very cheeky boy!
I’ve only just got back from Glastonbury so I’m in no fit state to bandy words with you but Mr Bailey for me I’d say.
I must have seen Wright, but does not stick in my mind as a captain, but i was but a mere little kid and he was, well he was just Billy Wright. Slater was no slouch but the best i remember was Mike Bailey by a country mile. Not only did he drive the whole team on, he looked the part.
Barrel chest, thighs like trees, always driving leading and as Clive says bollocking someone.
Quite what he would have done to some of the could care less guys last season would have been a sight to see. Cussing, kicked arses and blood spring to mind. In my memory of those great days it always seems to me that the the young (great) Peter Knowles used get the brunt of it. Peters ellegant skill did not always suit Bailey and i can still see and hear him yelling over to the Knowles to use the ball, or kick the effing thing. I also recall Waggy getting it to not because he wasnt doing the stuff, but Bailley was always looking for the direct route. Great great days and players.
barrel chest ..thighs like trees…. I really love my wife 🙂 anyone seen the new wpolves flag at glasto ? third tier but we are everywhere..cant wait for the new season-lets show the clubs what REAL support is !!
“But there’s the likes of George Elokobi around as well, Kevin Foley, Richard Stearman, Dave Edwards – these guys are not necessarily youngsters with no experience.”
This was on the sanitized site with reference to the new captain.
Is he fuckin’ serious?
If any of those above are in contention for a first team place, let alone captain, we are in some deep shit, my friends.
If I had to make one bet about Wolves this season, it would be…
T o bet that we manage to go straight back up at first time of asking. A very good and not a
H orrendous season with the players working their socks off is all I ask though. I can not
I magine anything less would be acceptable by any fans. I am sure all we are asking is a
S eason of commitment where if we do not get promoted we can say at least we had tried.
S ilence in the ground is also something that we do not want to see, we need to bring
H ome to all fans that supporting our team vocally is key to them playing well. That will
I mpact on their belief that we are behind them, that we believe in them, that we want them to R eally do well and that we want to get out of this Division as soon as we can. We want them
T o believe in us as we believe in them and for them to come off the pitch smiling.
S ince I have supported the Club in the late 60s I have seen a massive amount of change with
U s (fans) being frustrated and joyous over many seasons. I have seen good times I have seen
C rap times, I have seen a lot, but I am still here, I remember the matches that I went to as a K id. I remember the Sheff Utd Play off, I remember our time in the top flight and also the
S uccessive relegations.
As for our shirts, well I don’t really care if I win one as I have expressed what I think, all I want is for us to play well, and get back up as soon as we can. UTW.

You deserve the shirt, Steve – especially as the second para came out spelling ‘shit’ rather than ‘shirt’! But with the R buried in the middle you were maybe being more clever and subtle than me!!
And by the way, Clive from H, we are in L1, and George Elokobi could again run through walls for us and be as massive as his chest & thighs!
Ah…..then you corrected it! Pity!
We are in the third division, next to lowest level of proper football in England, and if Elokobi is the future, we really are fucked.
T empted at times to respond to many more of your comments Clive as you make me
H appy at bad times of our club’s history. As I said in previous posts I have seen us play
I rrationally, appallingly and I have also seen us play imaginative and classy football. I
R eally do hope we come straight back up, but don’t expect that untill we sort out all the
D ross that is coming out of the club, both playing wise and mainly from our greaseball CEO.
D ont stop posting your comments mate, they are great. In the 80s I lived in Aldershot and
I remember going to matches in the 4th Divison. Not only did I not know our players I also
V ividly remember the horrible grounds, the small attendance figures and the little support
I mpacting on the players on the pitch. Matches were so quiet, players tried to play but
S lid all over the terrible service that was called a pitch. In comparison our ground is
I macculate, so our home games should be okay, but I am dreading going to places like
O ldham, MK Dons, Stevenage etc. I will go though, as I am Wolves. I will support my Club.
N ow I am feeling depressed and I agree with you, we are in the THIRD tier of football.
misjudged it again ………. grrrrrr
Short term future! Strictly short term, just for that depressing, next to lowest level of proper football in England.
See we lost out on the Crewe lad, Murphy – gone to Leeds.
Why am I not surprised?
Why do we always seem to miss out on transfer targets?
Now we have to move players on before we can bring in Ricketts.
Where have I heard all this before.
Will we move many on before the season starts and will we bring in any young and hungry players to replace them?
Will Doog solve the mystery of the flag?
I have to believe Mr Moxey and Mr Morgan must by now realize the mistakes they have made in the past and like all of us learn from them.
However time is marching on and I can not help but be a bit nervous. No one yet sold and no good example experienced leaders aquired.
I like what KJ is saying it is all very appropriate and proper, just like some of the previous guys.
I understand us not landing Murphy although he really sounded a prospect, but the season is with us next month and KJ must be really wanting to see what is real squad will be.
Like last summer we really know and have known what had to be done for a while, but jez does seem to march along at his own pace. Trust me a young squad really needs a bit of stability and to be able to understand their role in the squad.
Not moaning hope i am wrong Wolves forever.
Following on from the ‘exhaustive search for the right man’ that never was i still detect the coating of spin. No doubt Jez will soon be heralding his success at squeezing Fulham out of what is actually only small change for a Premier league club. I will just be glad when the season starts and all the talk is put to the acid test.
Just a month to go and none of the high paid players gone. It’s looking increasingly likely that they will still be ours come the start of the season.
Kevin Doyle is an irish international of some repute. Are we really saying he can’t cut it at this level ? Would we really not play him ? Would August not be a shop window for him ?
How about the others ?
