10 games is normally a good marker to determine what might be on the table for the remainder of the season.
With that in mind, it would be lovely to win this one and almost certainly return to the top six.
After Burton and Barnsley you were left wondering how bad it could get by the end of September.
Thankfully, recent developments have us looking up instead of down.
Wigan
It’s difficult to imagine a worse start for the Latics, who find themselves bottom of the table after losing at Preston last Friday.
That’s a bit of surprise. I thought the reigning League One champions might carry over that momentum into this season, but it’s just one win in nine for Gary Caldwell’s men.
Wigan are awash with former Wolves players and all could conceivably feature tonight, which given our recent record against former players suggests an uncomfortable evening for the away side.
I was crushed when Michael Jacobs was sold and it was no surprise to see him tearing up League One again last season. Question marks remain over his ability to do it in the Championship, but he’ll be up for this one I’m sure.
Adam Le Fondre and Nathan Byrne were both disappointing in a gold shirt, but the latter certainly didn’t get much opportunity to impress.
Craig Davies was one of those early signings in the Mick McCarthy era who was short on quality but his electric pace was useful in an enjoyable start to the 2006 season.
Wolves
This is another test of Walter Zenga’s rotation policy. With this game hot on the heels of Saturday, changes do feel inevitable. Obviously, I’d pick the same eleven.

I can see Coady, Mason and Cavaleiro (the subs who made it on from the Brentford game) heading the queue for a start. All three could play.
Ola John and Silvio both impressed against Newcastle in the cup but were banished from the squad completely on Saturday. I’d like to see them feature again at some point soon.
Walter Zenga
Predictions
I don’t think Wigan are as bad as the table suggests. Looking at their goal difference (-3) it doesn’t seem like they’re being totally outplayed, rather just edged out in close matches.
Added to that our goal suddenly becomes a magnet for former players and I wouldn’t bet against the likes of Jacobs or Byrne netting tonight.
But overall, we should beat Wigan and I think we’ll just about get it done, assuming it’s not a completely different eleven and team retains some level of cohesion.
2-1
Up The Wolves!

I would imagine we’re looking at Wigan the same way Newcastle were looking at Wolves in the league. I’m a bit nervous that we’re gonna get unpleasantly surprised, but that being said…
Just a thought guys and girls.
When interviewed a week last Friday, Walter was questioned about Ola John and Silvio’s fitness, he stated, “we’re aware of their problems, Ola John unfit and Silvio foot injury, so we won’t rush them” they both then played the following Tuesday at Newcastle.
So just saying.
He put out a statement about Dicko, “he’s not ready yet and needs more U23 games”
Well, the under 23’s played last night and Dicko wasn’t even on the bench????????
Come on you Dicko…..
Hope he’s playing tonight. ?
Dicko to bag 2 tonight so I’m going for a Five for Clive score
Wigan 0 – 5 Wolves
The ghosts of Wanderers past are waiting to derail Walter’s ever accelerating express train, so maybe we’ll have to score four to beat them.
A lot depends, as you say Thomas, on which team is selected.
I would definitely start with the same eleven that started on Saturday.
If they get tired (they bloody well shouldn’t, they’re professional athletes for Bod’s sake!) replace them with the people sitting near the touchline in tracksuits. Like Kenny never did.
If we do, then a comfortable win should be on the cards,.
Like you, I was disappointed when Jacobs went. I thought that he and Henry were more or less on a par but would have kept MJ and moved Henry on if I had to choose.
He has a big point to prove. And most likely will.
Going for a win though.
COYW!
They’re bottom of the table, and we should beat them comfortably. But then Newcastle should have done the same to us – football just doesn’t work like that!
Still think we’ll edge it, but I think they’ll be too clever for our defense. Going for a Michael Jacobs brace.
Byrne, with something to prove, might be too much for our full backs to handle. We will need a big performance from our midfield trio to boss the game. If that doesn’t happen Wigan could grind us down.
Big test.
Away, former players. Potential banana skin?
Hope not, but…
Wigan will win sooner or later, just hope it’s not tonight. I think they will make it very tough and we generally struggle against teams we’re expected to beat. Looks like a draw.
Narrow away win I reckon.
Away and against former players? I’m optimistic we will avoid banana skins. I’m hoping Dicko will be on the bench and come on for a 20-minute cameo to score against his own former club. Former-player syndrome works both ways. Wigan are a lot better than their league position suggests (and so are we!) but we should be way too good for them. 3-1 to us.
This sort of fixture used to be perilous in terms of assumption and if we really don’t pee over this lot then KJs ghost is upon us..
So I’m assuming that we will play like a top six club as surely it’s where we belong tonight if we can keep our act together.
Dicko if he plays is irrelevant to me, it’s the current in form players that should be doing it.
Throw in an ironic goal from an ex player and there’s the 3-1..
But it’s never as easy as that is it ?
but we have to take the 3 points…
WZ please watch out for loose balls
– Let’s not give them any gifts…..
COYW
Stop.panicking
Comfortable win.
3 points
Would like bod to score he deserves a goal
Dicko
On the bench
Full.steam.ahead for the Zenga boys!!!!
Cmon the wolves
Oh yeah the score
Come on Wolves, get me a correct prediction so I can get on the bloody ladder. Should be a win (on paper). Can’t honestly see the same eleven playing as last Saturday, not with Norwich looming in a few days. We still should be able to get a positive result with a couple of the subs from last week in the 1st 11. I think it will be a 2-0 for the Wolves
I want a clean sheet!!
Nurse!
The screens!
Tettenhall Wolf’s gone and done it again!
It’s the excitement of it all
Personally I’d break the usual trend of not changing a winning team and make 4 changes tonight. Both full backs – maybe play Silvio and Hause as I thought the full backs were our weak link against Brentford. I’d also bring in Coady for either Oniangue or Edwards as both looked pretty cream-crackered by the middle of the second half on Saturday and we need to keep one eye on the Norwich game at the weekend. By the same token I’d start Cavaleiro for Teixeira tonight. Be nice to see a cameo from Dicko provided he is fit enough and another outing for Ola John who I think is going to be a very good player.
Tight game that I think we will win 1-0.
Can you contact me at stevelbiles@Hotmail.com mate. I have something I need to chat about.
All the Wigan boys will be thinking the same.
We are bottom, they are gonna be over confident, we got ex Wolves players, blah, blah, blah.
There is a reason they are ex Wolves players, coz they aint good enough!
Easy peasy lemon squeasy japanesey tonight.
There will never be an easier three points and five goals.
I watched a so called Premier match yesterday afternoon, Burnley v Watford
Utter dross
If that is the standard we will be up against next season…….bring it on!!!
FOwb
I’m sure there is a blogger on here called The Newt. Pretty sure there must be one called John too. In which case – wait for it, wait for it – you could all team up and give us Olive Newt and John! Your’e the one that I want? Not really, much as I like a man with a beard as much as the next window-dresser.
You really are a sad bastard, you know that, right?
That was so bad it was in fact funny.
I aint laffed so much since the house fell on me sister.
we do have a nasty habit of ending teams’ losing streaks … and with the ex-player factor think we should probably be content with a draw.
that said, the eleven who wiped the floor with newcastle and put the bees to bed should be our starting eleven … it seem pretty clear that this is our best 11, so why start anyone else .. if any of them start to look leggy then sub on Mason (hoipefully Dicko sometimes soon) Cavaliero et al …
We might have a big squad but we dont have the quality / experience in depth so i’d prefer if it Zenga keeps rotation to the absolute minimum
I might just cry into my pillow if Le Fondle actually manages to score tonight…
1-1
Its Wigan, lets hope Will Grigg has been put out and is a smoky smoldering mess (credit due it is a great song, better even than our Dicko Afobe Sako), we win somehow, and move onto Norwich Saturday on the TV.
2-1 for me too Amber, even though none of us know what team Walt is going to put out.
Hopefully the Bod scores as a reward for all those unprotected physical assaults from the opposition that the muppets in black seem to miss/ignore.
COMBs!
The bod deserves a goal now, hope Dicko is fit for 20 mins cameo and agree with Clive watched west ham v Southampton as well and it appears that if we can learn to pass to each other we can be ok when we get to the prem as it appears the bottom 8 /10 teams are s–t, although I wonder if some teams show too much respect to the top teams and stand off them and give them room to play ?
We should win but this is the Wolves, and we know what can, and sometimes does, happen in that type of game.
Still I am being positive, some will say that makes a change, a win for me.
Hoping the rumours of Dicko returning are true. This will be a tight one but can see us edging it. UTW
Away to the bottom of the table team. Easy eh? Well no. It’s games like this that make me very nervous because everything makes sense that we will hammer them. Of course we all know that football has a habit of kicking you up the ‘arsenal’ when you least expect it.
I look forward these days just to see what team Walter will put out, such is the strength of our squad. I wonder how he manages to keep all the players happy(ish). Tough job but one Walter has the tools to handle it all.
So ex-Wolves players in abundance waiting to ambush our glorious gladiators (especially Dadi!).
We will still be too good for them.
Onwards & Upwards
:–)
For me, tonight’s game is an important psychological test.
Theoretically we should win comfortably, yet the ‘team’ is new.
It is a sculpture still being moulded and even if defeated tonight, ultimately, I believe, we will be automatically promoted, this season.
Also I think we need to look forward not back.
Dicko may not have played in the Under 23’s because of his injury.
We should not expect him to come back the same player.
History shows that’s very rarely the case.
If we do win tonight I think it will be down to Zenga’s ability to mentally prepare the players.
If he does it is an admirable achievement.
Part of me suspects we may only draw, but nothing can dampen my optimism…
I used to look forward to seeing a Jacob’s cracker so I will certainly be wary of him tonight. Overall should be a reasonably easy win but it’s good to see everybody giving Wigan some respect as they will certainly come good very soon, just hopefully not tonight.
That certainly would be taking the biscuit.
I sense a changed eleven in preparation for Norwich and a draw.
What a puntastic response.
Hope we are not sacrificing a good chance at 3 points so that we can have a reasonable chance of 3 points at the weekend.
What’s the matter with you lot ?Wolves are on the rise and Wigan are bottom of the table
we will absolutely wallop that old shit
2-1 to the Wolves or 3-1 if Dicko gets 10 minutes at the end.
Solid performance with the bus rolling on wards and upwards.
I would prefer to see a change in the back four tonight (CBJ had a ‘mare on Saturday) and perhaps a change in midfield – Coady for Edwards to give us fresh legs.
In any event, we should be too good for them and I am travelling with optimism this afternoon.
Hope the rumours about Dicko are correct – I would love to see him have 20 mins at the end and slot in the winner!!
No ‘clean sheet’ as I expect to see one of our old boys (probably Jacobs) to make a complete fuckin’ nuisance of himself and score a consolation goal.
This ones got ” Bannara Skin” written all over it. Three ex Wolves players one of them is bound to score. I hope Walt keeps at least the spine of the team the same and if Dicko does play them he MUST play Dadi up with him.
My heads saying a win and on paper it looks like awin for Wolves….but my hearts saying a draw……hope my head is right…!
It won’t be easy but it never is these days.
These sort of games rarely go to plan. Score draw but I hope I’m wrong.
Like most here I hope Walter doesn’t make too many changes from the team of the last 2 Saturdays – a tweak here or there fair enough.
Looking for a comfortable win to push us top 6, and then Norwich to come another real tester.
I am back. Firstly I would like to thank StuWolf for placing my predictions for me whilst I was away. Secondly, I ask Bedford Wolf to contact me at stevelbiles@hotmail.com please.
I have looked at the games I missed and am a tad frustrated at some of the results in September. Burton: 1-1 dropped 2 points because we did not score enough, Barnsley: 0-4 what happened in the last 15 minutes? 75 minutes without managing to find the net is unacceptable and then we fell apart. I wonder what the score would have been had we managed to score before they did? Newcastle: 0-2 Brilliant result and an unexpected 3 points. Brentford: 3-1 another well deserved 3 points. With 6 goals for and 6 against we should be putting the ball away more often and when we do start to do that, especially in the first half, then we will run amok.
As for tonight? If we continue to play like we have in the last 2 matches, and start from the off rather than wait for the 2nd half, then I see us beating Wigan. My prediction therefore is:
Welcome back, O rotund person!
Been on “maneuvers” have we?
Hope that doesn’t mean the same as “playing away from home”!
You do realize that any points you think you cheated your way to while away are null and void.
The rules clearly state that ” In the event of a party being absent, and another party predicting in the first party’s stead, then said first party’s points, if any, are forfeited to Olive from Houston”
But it really don’t matter, coz your predictions are for shit, and you are gonna try and cheat your way to another title, much like some Prem teams, actually.
We should rename you, not Chalkie, but Manure, or Arsenhole, or Manshitty!!!!!!
Glad to be back???????
I am now mate. You make my day pal. What would this blog be without our loveable plastic yank.
I love how you make up rules as you go along, I see you have learned from me after all!!
I will make a T Shirt for you that says “I got one result right this Season” Don’t know when that will be though as I have plenty of time!
Hope to see you soon Cliveo.
You asked me to contact you at 1.11pm. I did so at 1.18pm. Its now 4.22pm and not heard a dicky bird from you. Where are you Brompton? En route to Wigan Pier?
A couple of late goals in extra time added to what we have already should see me pick up 3 points tonight in the prediction league.
On recent visits to Wigan I get the feel they don’t like us very much it always seems a bit tetchy. So I guess they will raise their game especially our old boys. So another test for what hopefully is an eleven close to last week’s , don’t concede early and the points should be ours with a couple of late goals
Bod and Dicko is a mouth-watering combo. I hope Dicko is back and looking sharp.
Can’t see us getting beaten – however, a 0-0 is what I’m pondering.
Nah, F*** it!…
Some things I’ve noticed from supporting the Wolves over many years.
We always struggle against teams we should beat…We always seem to end other team’s losing runs…Our ex-players always score against us.
This makes me quite nervous for tonight’s game. Obviously I’d really love us to win and will be cheering us on while listening to the radio but I don’t quite have the confidence yet to think we’ll stop the usual from happening.
So I’m going to sit on the fence and predict a draw.
Could be we are missing a few key players for this one after the physical on Saturday. This could make it difficult but will present fresh opportunities. I still back us to overcome and stamp down on Wigan false position. Would be great if a player scores against his former team. I think you know who I mean!
I think he’ll rotate tonight and we’ll look worse off because of it. We should win but I don’t think we will. Hope I’m wrong.
Any point away in this league is a good point !
Rest a few in readiness of Saturday and stuff the yellows Bootifull
I got it right on Saturday so here goes.
Wigan will give someone a good beating soon but not tonight.
A really open game with plenty of chances in a two thirds empty stadium.
Oniangue and Batth with the goals
These are the games that we need to win if we are going to make the playoffs.
I am optimistic about our chances even with rotations – the squad looks like it has quality.
With 80mins gone, we’re losing 3~2 in what’s been an end to end battle. Is there any way back ? Dicko comes on as sub and after 94mins it’s 3~4 thanks to a Dicko brace!
Come on the Wolves!
If Craig Davies is fit and is selected, with his and Byrne`s pace, and Jacobs trickery, I`m glad we are playing away, and will be sitting deep hoping to use our own pacey forwards to hit the home team on the break.
They`ve no height of physical presence, so Walter could make changes to counter the oppositions speed merchants. So long as we don`t concede early, the home team`s bubble will burst and we can go on to win the game comfortably.
Of course as others have said, it probably won`t work like that, but hey ho silver lining, we had a scruffy 1-0 win in our season in division one, but I think we’ll do more than that. The Iceman deserves a goal for his tireless workrate, and bags of ability, so two for him, and a 3-1 win – same as I predicted for last Saturday.
Would like to see Dicko on the bench, very surprised Wigan are where they are but that will change – just hopefully not starting this evening.
Come on Wolves
I think we’ve finally found a bit of consistency however it’s only natural that Zenga would want to change up the lineup especially for a midweek game. I think we’ll struggle today.
Sort of expecting some changes tonight, I wouldn’t be surprised to see Coady at right back and Doherty on the left. It would be nice to see Dicko on the bench too. I think we’ll be too strong for Wigan, though there are bound to be hiccups along the way.
It’s maybe not so much that we struggle against teams we would expect to beat but that they up their game; however ‘we’ are now a different team, and Walter seems well prepared. He won’t ‘tinker’, just make sensible changes to deal with the opponents, and maybe rest one or two for Norwich.
He’ll give Dicko a run out if he’s ready, anyway we have quality in depth now, and will continue the winning run.
At least one of our former players will score. Let’s hope we get one more than them.
If selected no doubt Jacobs will continue the annoying trend of ex players scoring against us which has been going on for years.
However I expect Wolves to emerge victors against a team whose current league position belies their overall form. (Hope that makes sense). However they have only won 1 game so far. Surely Wolves will have too much in the locker.
Same scoreline as Saturday methinks
BOG
Jacobs brace isn’t enough
This is a fixture that the “old” Wolves (and us supporters) would have feared.
I’m in accord with “The Newt” and his observations, i.e.
“Some things I’ve noticed from supporting the Wolves over many years.
We always struggle against teams we should beat…We always seem to end other team’s losing runs…Our ex-players always score against us”.
Yes – the proverbial banana skin.
However, we now enjoying an era of “new” Wolves. Unlike us, our foreign imports have no history or knowledge of such thoughts or fears and are immune to such disasters occupying their minds.
Whilst I believe Walter will be thinking ahead to the Norwich game and make 3 or 4 changes tonight, we should still be able to see off “The Pie Eaters” although the score line might be a bit tight.
In order for Wolves to win, for Prediction League purposes I must forecast a defeat (it’s too boring for me to remind bloggers the reasoning behind this barmy philosophy)) but secretly I’ll be hoping for a Wolves 2-1 victory.
What’s all this stuff about prem teams looking crap? Let’s get there first before we start thinking how we’ll fare against them. It did take 19 summers not so long ago! Bit quicker this time hopefully.
Wigan will surely score so it’s a case of how many for us. Going for 2.
Tickets on sale at the gate. Just knocked off work early. See you there bloggers.
Can see Wigan scoring, but Wolves having enough to get the job done.
Wigan seem to tie or lose by just one goal so I will predict.
Wigan 1 – 2 Wolves
Typical banana skin game this Tues late September small crowd.. We have been there before…
There’s a reason why they’re bottom but I think rotation will hamstring us a little bit.
Bod is well overdue a goal and if he gets one I tnink he’ll get a couple. I also expect one of the Portugese boys to continue their goal-scoring form.
So, 3-1 to the Wolves after the usual slow start.
This time with the score…
In the Brentford preview I did point out how 6 points from these two fixtures are essential. Halfway there, so I’m backing up the lads once more.
Would be great if it’s a “Clive” but giving some well deserved rest to the best players before the Norwich game would be even better. A “Newcastle” will suffice then.
From memory… Jacobs can be bullied therefore Doherty to sort him. Byrne has pace therefore cbj will sort him. Davies has one game per season stearman can sort him out.
If Sais plays they might not even get a kick.
I thought Leon Clarke (only his mother loves him) was at Wigan. If he comes on I’ll mark him from my sofa here in Sutton Coldfield!
Mind you it could go pair shaped.
Still, early days yet. But there’s light at the end of the season.
I hate these games….
On paper it’s a foregone conclusion, reality however has a way of biting….especially if you’re a Wolves fan.
The upside is that Walter picks his teams to win. That might sound a bit daft but for some strange reason I have more faith in his ability to inspire and raise and if needs be quickly change his sides if they aren’t performing in the way he demands.
I’m being conservative with the score, but it is their muck-heap and they have beaucoup ex Wolves. One if em’s bound to score!
Bosses fancied in the recent past for the Wolves job are coming unstuck.
First Big Sam lands himself in hot water.
Now Nigel Pearson suspended by Derby with immediate effect for behavioural reasons.
With all this going on “bad boy” Walter Zenga is looking like a saint and a statesman.
Never a thing of beauty Wolves v Wigan but if Teixeira gives it the full Geilgud and the defence stay error free
Are you implying a certain amount of theatrical play from our star player?
Either Byrne, Jacobs or Le Fondre surely destined to put at least one past us. Hopefully we can continue the good run though with a win.
Difficult not to predict a win based on league placing and form ….but since when did that sway things for a Wolves fan eh.
They’ll certainly get one goal coz Gordi Jomez will drop like a brick in water to earn a Wigan pen. But we have an ace in the pack too coz Texxy baby will dance his way past their back four to bag another brace. (That’s 2 goals).
Enjoy the evening Brompton….
Think we’ll score but all those ex-Wolves players means they’ll score as well. Probably more.
Our achilles heel – games we should win against lowly ranked teams with something to prove.
No forwards so bound to score. I think with 4 ex Wolves players Wigan are also bound to score so a draw it is!
Previous commenters say it all. ‘Banana skin’ ‘ex-players’ ‘underdogs’.
But I’m going to totally ignore all that excellent logic and say a full-blooded victory to the ever-rising Wanderers.
Well my last 2 predictions have been that
a) we wouldn’t win at Newcastle no matter who was selected and
b) WZ wouldn’t start the same team v Brentford as v Newcastle
Which only goes to show that the inside of WZ’s mind is a dilemma wrapped within a conundrum, inside a mystery – well, you get the picture…
Watched their match at PNE and Wigan were by far the better team for long spells, but we are flying so its a narrow win for me.
I’ve got a feeling that Wigan are better than their current position suggests. That and a sprinkling of former players itching to get one over their former player suggests that a difficult evening might be in store.
What the heck, we should just edge it and keep the bus rolling along.
My head is saying a score draw, but I can’t ignore my heart, so its two nil to the Wolves
They are due a result and will be well up for it and all those ex players ! A win would be great result.
In general our away form is better than at home and suits the way we play. A few changes inevitable. 3-1 up we concere the usual late goal to let them back in but hold on after the ref plays the usual 6 minutes of injury time despite no injuries.
Just heard that Jon dadi hasn’t travelled – I was going to predict a 3-1 win but have now revised it down to 2-1. We were looking really strong on Saturday for most of the match and I think we’re going to keep on improving. I just can’t miss a match at the moment, it’s certainly an exciting season!
Mmm, interesting line up. Still, feeling hopeful (confident?) of a narrow win. Come on WZ, get em going.
While the Big Dick assumption was likely and the rumour spread like wildfire, it has proved not to be.
One centre forward and at that on the bench.
Professional performance and statement of our intent for the season.
BREAKING NEWS
Le Fondle scores against Wolves.
Allardyce quits as England manager.
What a pair of doughnuts!!
You can take the man out of Dudley but you can’t take Dudley out of the man.
You couldn’t make this up!
Alardyce for the Shit when they dump the be best manager they’re ever gonna get. It’s a marriage made for the Ryman League……if they’ll have em!
reminds me of an old saying:
Dudley bloke, born an bred
Strong in th’arm and thick in’t yed!
Apologies to Crade-lye-eayath blokes and wenches to whom the original applies…
On a night where Solbakken wins a Champions League game 4-0 we get turned over by Wigan.
‘S a funny ol’ game.
Disappointing result and performance.
Hope lessons will be learned.
What do we expect starting without a striker ??
Gladon should be nowhere near this team…
Too inconsistent to be a top 6 six team…
Concede concede concede….
Moxey is licking his lips…
I was convinced it wouldn’t happen; although warned Wigan were better than bottom, I still believed we’d beat them with all the quality we have to select from. Apparently it could have gone our way but let’s face it, losing was in the stars.
Can we hope for another rebound at Carrow Road, with Jon Dadi back amongst it ?
Let’s take a deep breath and kick on. Norwich won’t be looking forward to Saturday on the telly. Come on you Wolves!
8 points lost to teams that came up,pathetic.
We need another striker or get Dicko up and running sooner the better.
DB done it again, always a mistake in him.
Disappointing.
We flatter to deceive.
Without Bodvarsson we are like an old man without the blue pills fumbling in the dark
The first goal was last years defending.
The second half was last years performance.
No attacking Dadi WTF
Saville and Gladon pair of prize Donkeys.
A team that can’t play twohalves in the same game.
Bad show tonight Wolves, very bad show.
I expected an up-and-down first few months but that’s a really crap result no matter what way you look at it.
We may well have a big squad but it’s becoming clear already that we’re lacking quality cover. Can’t be a coincidence that we had a poor game without Bod?
We desperately need Dicko’s goals as soon as possible and find a couple of decent centre-halves!!!
Humpfff
OK So Dicko needs game time to get him fit..
He is left out of the U23’s Squad last night but tweets he is not injured…
Not on the bench for Wigan away.
Doesn’t make any sense…
2 games he could be using to get fit… and features in neither… ???
This simply does not add up…
Goals are rarely completely random after the substitutions it sounded like the game was swinging back towards Wigan. WZ has to start excluding some of the players that are clearly not good enough. Nearly every game i have seen Saville play it felt like we were a man short. It doesnt take too many results like this to define your season.
Another evening of going to bed pissed off
Waking up for,a piss in the night, pissed off
Then waking up.in the morning pissed off
Keep telling myself it’s early in the season but they were bottom of the league, but I suppose anyone can beat anyone in this league.
Brentford come back last night and got four.
Onwards and upwards things will get better, I for, sure they get better than me in the prediction league, cmon the wolves
Think we will do norwich Saturday!!!!
There is clearly something wrong at Molineux, we are a young team, we are an International team, but we are an unfit team. When we play the likes of Burton, Barnsley and Wigan they play exactly the same number of matches as Wolves, so how come they can run us into the ground, run us in circles and we fade like my Dahlias in the Autumn chill.
Our second half performance was nothing short of a criminal act. Absolutely dire, a boring attempt at football, Edward’s was reduced to a puffing and blowing walking pace 2nd half, Saville came on and holds the ball like he’s in acres of space and someone just nips in and takes it off his feet, (most times) and Gladon, the poor lad is way out of his depth, I cannot say I have seen him do anything in his game time that tells me he’s any better than Danny Graham was, readers of this blog know my feelings on Danny Graham.
We are playing with one recognised striker at the club, when he’s not fit we are back peddling into our own half and have no teeth, the stregnth may be in the pack, but having no teeth is pretty insane if your’e going for the kill. We had chances a plenty last night, but no-one able to put them away. We could have been sitting 4th today ready for Norwich. 1 step forward 2 back at the moment.
Best part of the night, meeting up with Brompton who was still jet lagged after his epic flight back to Blighty, nice talking with you again buddy.
Come on Walter sort out Tony Daley, this is a poor show.
Gossip,
A bloke that knows Wallace’s dad who was standing at the team bus said’, “Wallace asked for a move out on loan for game time”, Zenga said “no”, Wallace,s dad said, ” the club are treating him (Wallace) like Shite” Wallace refused to get off the bus, (I was there) he just would not get off. Happy days.
