Growing up I used to dream about seeing Wolves at Wembley. Old Wembley that is.
We came close a few times, most agonisingly losing to Bolton in the play-offs in 95. There was also that FA Cup semi-final defeat to double winning Arsenal in 98.

When the famous ground was demolished in 2003 the dream was pretty much over. The new version could never conjure up the same magic.
That view is further emphasised by the fact we’re now heading to the home of football to play a bog standard Premier League game in front of a half empty stadium.
But it’s still Wembley damn it, and the reason we’re here in any capacity is a consequence of the club’s efforts over the last 18 months.
Spurs
The idea you can even mention Tottenham in a conversation about the title is testament to the job Pochettino is doing.

They spent zip in the summer and have occasionally wobbled, but they’re into the knockout stages of the Champions League, the semi-final of the League Cup and following a five game winning run – above Man City and up into second in the table.
Wow.
Everton and Bournemouth have already been routinely demolished and they’ll definitely be looking at this game as an opportunity to further crank up the pressure on Liverpool.
They may struggle to win one of the big trophies but to me their squad is strong so I wouldn’t be counting them out of anything. They’re currently without Alli, Dier, Vertonghen and Dembele and the likes of Lamela, Sanchez and Trippier still aren’t getting a regular game.

The home end
Lifted the following from the match thread on a popular Spurs forum.
They’ll park the bus, I have no doubts. Going to be more frustrating but should be winning this.
Quite like Wolves as a club and their fans are decent too. They have peppered our history and I for one would have loved to have them as our first opponents at NWHL. I was at the 72 uefa cup final along with 54,000 others at Tottenham when mullers scored and they were very graceful in defeat as i remember. Had some fun in Tipton at the last game of the season a few years back too. Back to Saturdays game, i doubt we will thrash them like we did the last two teams however i still think we have too much for them. It’s a satisfying fact that if we play to our strengths we will win, waited a fair few years to say that!
How well we are playing is masking how poorly we are defending. Wolves are a stronger attacking prospect than Bournmouth and Everton. I’m not going to be getting carried away by two deserved and dominant performances, and the manager will not be so complacent. Wolves beat Chelsea just a couple of matches back, and although gifted two goals, came close to a point last time around.
Won’t be easy. Games are coming thick and fast, Wolves impressed me at times this season and although they had a blip (Huddersfield game particularly) they haven’t become a bad team overnight. They have some dangerous players and i for one on here respect them as a club and it’s good that they have been entertaining for the most part, not something newly promoted sides often are.
Wolves
Our own squad has been utilised by Nuno of late and it’s tough to question most of the head coach’s decisions.

Dropping Ruben Neves was a big decision but the right one given his struggles of late and the emerging presence of Romain Saiss.
I’m a big fan of the Moroccan and all the more so after he took it upon himself to get into the six yard box to net that late equaliser. It’s a collectors items seeing a Wolves midfielder in the penalty area these days.
Cav should definitely start this one. Nuno could play the same three man midfield we saw against Liverpool, which would mean a recall for Neves but selecting Gibbs-White would suggest greater adventure.

vicsmith is back on top of the Prediction League table at the end of Gameweek 19.
Shout out to other consistent performers like GoWolves, Looney tune, johnok and PeteRobbo who are right in amongst the usual suspects from recent weeks.
As always, if you want to join in, simply leave your prediction in the comment section below, which is where you’ll find my best guess.
Up The Wolves!

Agree that the new Wembley is crap. When we eventually get there for a cup final I’m sure we’ll make it rock though.
Expect Neves to start, just because Joao did a full 90 on Wednesday so might be knackered.
Get the first goal and there’s every possibility of an upset.
In with Neves – and I’d like to see Mouthinio behind the two strikers again, behind Jimenez and Cav. Delicious assist by Cav against Fulham secures him a place in the first eleven. Then Costa and Gibbs white may enter as impact subs if we revert to the 3-4-3 formation.
And I forgot to make a prediction…
All good runs must come to an end so I fancy Spurs to slip up for this one.
On current form they should wallop us. But from what I saw of them against Bournemouth they can be got at defensively. B’mouth had early opportunities and if Wolves can do the same they might be able to nick a goal. Granted that’s a big if but if Cav starts I think our chances will be improved. Going for a narrow win on the grounds “you never know.” 0-1
Can’t see where to put in my prediction so will come back.
Sorry mate. You’ll have to re-enter your prediction if you want it to count in the PL table as I forgot to turn the scoring system on. Just a heads up.
OK I will add my prediction
I cannot see us getting much from this game and, based on the Spurs performances of late, we might get a bit of a spanking. No-one has done that yet this season but, if we start as poorly as we did against Fulham, the game could be over by half time. I hope that Cav plays and I expect Neves to replace Moutinho who has had two very taxing games in the last week.
If, by some miracle, we are still in the game with 20 mins to go them maybe Traore can wreak havoc on the big Wembley pitch against a tiring defence. There is not much reason to be optimistic about Traore based on his Fulham performance but — Ya gotta clutch at straws ay ya???
No facility available to post a prediction but I’m going for:
Spurs 3 Wolves 0
OODCL
Sorry mate. You’ll have to re-enter your prediction if you want it to count in the PL table as I forgot to turn the scoring system on. Just a heads up.
I might be wrong but we haven’t lost at Wembley since 1939 FA Cup final having won there in 1949, 1960, 1974,1980 and 1988. So we like it! Only a couple of weeks ago it took Spurs 92 minutes to score against Burnley in a 1-0 win at Wembley. So there is always hope and we will almost certainly create a few chances. If we get them we really must finish. I think we might get something. Spurs 2-2 WWFC.
Sorry mate. You’ll have to re-enter your prediction if you want it to count in the PL table as I forgot to turn the scoring system on. Just a heads up.
Thank you Thomas my prediction as follows
Spurs in a red hot vein of form so don’t really see us getting anything. Even given Spurs “reported” defensive frailties I’m not even sure we’ll nick a goal. That should guarantee a win.
Spurs 2 Wolves 0
Sorry mate. You’ll have to re-enter your prediction if you want it to count in the PL table as I forgot to turn the scoring system on. Just a heads up.
Spurms gonna think it will be a stroll in the park, Nuno will have the boys revved up for this one.
Wemberlee, against one of the “big six” .
It don’t get much bigger than this, and if we aspire to be a “top six “ club, these are the games we should be winning, regularly.
Liverpool defeat was no disgrace, spurms last time were lucky, and we’ve taken points off all the rest, so why not tomorrow?
Nuno will pick his best team, the wide open spaces will benefit us, so yet another away win in London for me!!
We’ll all be in Nick’s Place, off Westheimer and Gessner tomorrow.
5-1
Fowb
Sorry mate. You’ll have to re-enter your prediction if you want it to count in the PL table as I forgot to turn the scoring system on. Just a heads up.
Odds are we’ll lose this one but with homes games in January against Palace, Leicester and West Ham I’m hopeful we’ll continue to amass points at a similar rate.
Prediction
Theres a surprise.
Well Wembley awaits the old gold once again but it should never be used as a league game stadium. Spurs have been devastating of late, I don’t think we will be able to hold them out for 90 minutes. However always the optimist I think the game will be a cracker.
We are shit hot at Wembley and even though I’ll be in Bali for the next week , I’d swap for Wembley in a heartbeat, Honest !!
They have a couple of games against teams they see as competition for the big prize so won’t be expecting us to go 2 up after 20 minutes, they will come back but we grab a late winner for our best win of the season
Utw
Them 2
Us 3
Like the Liverpool game feeling nervous already . I see that Merson and Lawro have written off our chances so god knows what’s gonna happen. I agree if we can get an early goal then sit back soak up the pressure and look to hit them on the break. Could be a major upset on the cards. Lets see
COYW
Still remember the 1980 Wembley cup final v cloughies Notts forest and Andy gray scoring the goal for the 1-0 win.
Think we need to play 3 upfront hope that jota is fit, shame that just as he got back to best he was injured. Perhaps play Saiss and MGW in mid to put the through ball for Jota,Costa,Cav,Traore or Jimenez to score.
No point in defending so going for
same comment as before
Be interesting to see how Nuno approaches this one. The 2nd half at Molineux suggested that if attacked they can be vulnerable. On the other hand Everton tried to take the game to them and look what happened to them.
Got to be a case of sticking with 3-4-3 for this one which then begs the question(s) of who to leave out (in midfield) and who to play (up front).
Hoping for a win, expecting a loss would settle for a draw.
I think spurs will be to good for us, that’s not a slight on us more of a how fantastic they have been, I bet levy or whatever his name is is sitting there all smug saying to himself I knew we didn’t need to strengthen and spend any money.
I can’t see us winning but I’ll take a decent performance and getting a goal, it’s tight in the middle bunch of the league and we could be anywhere between 7th and 12th the end of the season which I personally think will be very successful.
Cav to start and get the goal 3-1 spurs
Spurs are a good side no doubt but I watched the goals against Everton and Bournemouth and it seems everything they tried went in.
A trifle lucky to say the least because although a decent side side they are not five goals better than either of those two teams.
We will play better tomorrow because its what we do .
I think neves will be back and Gibbs white and traore will be benched cav to start
Saiss as the enforcer.
And as for that has been merson and his predictions !
Merson is a fat fucking Villa twat.
Nobody outside the Wolves bubble gives us a hope, and that’s just how we like it.
We’re overdue a scintillating performance and what better stage to perform than the national stadium.
We’ll be right up for it, and when we’re up for it, we can beat anyone.
My son played at the old Wembley when he was 8. It was a Brent Council sponsored tournament for youngsters. Some jobsworth told my husband off for putting a toe on the hallowed turf to take a picture. It was all being demolished the following month! It was very decayed and crumbling – And I doubt that some fans could get through the turnstiles. Still, the new one is a bit plastic.
To the match. I’m hoping for a good performance and not to be on the receiving end of 4 or 5 . I shall be there and MAY have to restrain myself when we score as we are not in the Wolves-allocated seats. I suspect there may be a few others in a similar position.
Hoping for a point .
Spurs are too in form at the moment I fear.
Their recent form is incredible. We’ll have to be at our best to get anything from the game.
Last summer Poch took the Chevy to the Levy , but the Levy was dry…
Hang on, didn’t they buy a 10th choice keeper or something? It says everything about Poch and their strength in depth that they are having such a fantastic season in spite of lack of signings. Frightening. I also think they’ve had enormous luck in this half of the season. Luck levels out in the long run.
I think we have to play on the counter but without parking the bus. I’d like Neves back, as class is permanent and form is not. I’d play Neves in the first half with MGW on the bench, or vice versa. I’d also play Cav, with Traore on the bench. Saiss deserves to keep his place.
In this, our final game before the transfer window opens, Traore must at least get 20 minutes or so, get his arse in gear, and use the wide open spaces of Wembley to run amok through the Spurs defence at will. There won’t be a back five to crowd him out like Fulham did. Otherwise, I think Nuno will be considering his options for 2019.
Anything can happen with super Spurs and skilful Wolves. We’ve created a lot of chances (against Liverpool in particular) but not finished them. I’m inclined to go for another 3-2 loss like last time but sod it, I think we will get something. 2-2
I think Neves will be back in and he will need to be at his best. Traore may not start here, but I do believe Nuno will persevere with him – with Jota injured and Costa below form he maybe had to try him recently, although not down the middle.
Hopefully Spurs will have a Xmas hangover and we’ll rise to the occasion again.
I would take a point right now. If we play like w did at Fulham in the first half Spurs wil need an abacus to keep score.
Suspect changes will be made to the team and hopefully we will give them a decent game.
Bookies like spurs for 2-1 or 3-1
But last week the form book went upside down for palace and Leicester
If Jota is back and Traore stays on his feet and our shots are on target then who knows.. maybe our turn to provide a shock?
Hope so.. but doubt it somehow
I have money on Totteringham to win the league @14/1, I also have money on Reading to win the Championship @50/1 – one may happen 🙂
Spurs play decent football but are not unbeatable. Having said that this will be another tough game to get anything out of.
We may cause an upset so I am going for a narrow win.
Onward’s & Upwards
Comments as per a couple of hours ago.
Just can’t see us getting anything here, unless they are complacent.
I really hope I’m wrong but it’ll be 2 . 0 Spurs.
Please prove me wrong Wolves.
Would love 3 points but being realistic I’m expecting to get nothing.
However I will not predict a loss,(plus I’m nowhere in the prediction league anyway), so I’ll go for a draw.
Cav to start please!!!
COYW
Better field for our type of passing, so we might see another Wolves team all together tomorrow, going for another point, which would be fantastic against this team
Might even look forward to going back to work next week if we avoid defeat. There are two rather smug Spurs fans that will be feeling the heat if we give them another good game. No doubt they will have the excuses lined up though.
I agree with the above lineup except I expect Neves to return, in a swap for mout, even though he was great in the second half last match. Wide open spaces of Wembley and all that. They will probably swap back at some point unless Ruben is back to his best. If Jota is fit he will obviously also feature.
I was a sprightly 15 year old when my Dad took me to the 1960 cup final – and the memories, whilst vivid, are somewhat dimmed by the passage of time. The next time was when I took my wife (who has no real appetite for football but on this occasion I think she thought “if you can’t beat them then join them”) to the Sherpa Van final in 1988. That one is much more vivid. It was still standing where we were – and I recall the downwards thrust of the crowd when Wolves scored. My wife was scared but I thought that I had died and gone to heaven!
So – lovely memories of the old Wembley.
The new one has nothing like the charm – but sometimes the occasion overtakes the location ( I remember how great the atmosphere was at the play off final at the Millenium stadium).
I am disappointed that I will not be there – it should be a great experience.
To the game – it is going to be a tough one. If you look at the form sheet then I really don’t see how we can expect a point. We are still searching for the best combination and Spurs seem to be able to truly rotate their squad but maintain their quality, structure and performance level.
I tend not to express opinions about team selection- on the basis that Nuno is the expert and I have a lot of trust in his judgement. However it is clear that Traore’s greatest asset is his speed and that is probably best utilised when the opposition is weary – so I do think the super-sub role fits him at present. I also would love to see Neves demonstrating his silky skills at Wembley. So I would probably change Neves for Moutinho and Traore for Cavaleiro (or Jota if he is fit). Otherwise the team more or less picks itself.
Will be watching with hope but prepared for the worst. I do expect us to put up a fight however.
So …….
All the top teams will suffer one freak result at home during the course of the season and provided we can play with energy all through the team, it may be our day tomorrow. Important to stay in the game, the big pitch at Wembley with a tiring defence maybe the platform for subs Traore and Costa to expose the Spurs backline. Final ball must improve if we are to get anything from the game. Fatigue will play a big part for any team chasing the game after a full Xmas schedule, let’s hope it’s not us. Narrow win against all the odds. Jimenez to get the goals.
While we played rubbish in the first half against Fulham, I thought our possession football in the second half was execellent, and possession football is what I would attempt against Spurs. Neves in, and maybe Costa for Mogan GW as we need speed for this game— Adama T to come in as substitute, Saiss is a must to start. By the way, I have not given up on Adama yet, as while he is still very raw, his problems are his football brain not his talent. Wolves to win in a tight thriller!!
Another one against the top 6, hope for a win, take a draw but expect the worst unfortunately.
Blah blah …. elevengoals in twogames… unbeaten in god knows .. this and that title contenders
Its not if theyre going to beat wolves but by how many
Wolves were suplosed to beat huddersfield and cardiff … thatx shy we got beat and thats excactly why wolves are going to ruin their day
Just what we need. Complacency from Spurs, so:
Tottenham are the form side at the mo,so on that basis I think we will be happy to Nick a point
With the pitch being on the large side it could be a blessing in disguise, allowing us to play the sort of game we enjoy.but it’s only wishful thinking on my part.
This should be the ideal game to bring back Neves to unleash his passing to the front two and Doc.
What we mustn’t do is stand off them and let them come on to us because they’ll just pick us off.
If we can press them who knows what will happen.
UTW, FOWB.
Just hoping that they under estimate us and are a bit complacent given their last 2 results. I remember going there after they beat Wigan 9-1 and we won 1-0 so going for a hard earned 1-0
Brilliant post. Well remember it. I think it was the late Sunday game when they beat Wigan 9-1. We go there six days later , in the bottom three and turn them over 1-0. I was there and despite loads of possession didn’t really create a worthwhile chance. Funny old game!
I’ll be honest, Spurs playing “at home” makes me laugh and still feels like a neutral semi final with all this Wemberley malarkey. Therefore it has got a cup feel to it and anything can happen on cup day and thus………….
I was speculating the other morning, just after I’d opened my Christmas presents and was busy playing with the wrapping paper, that Neves had been rested at Fulham because he was leaving in the January window and we didn’t want to risk him being injured.
Later on, after my third tumbler full of Courvoisier VSOP I realised that this was, “of corsh! a load of paranoid nonshensh. Bloody rubbish!”
Now I’ve recovered from my hangover I’m left somewhere between the two thoughts. Let’s see if he’s in the team tomorrow and I’ll rest easier.
He may have been as out of form as a compulsive truant (see what I did there?), but we need him fit and firing for our assault on the Premier League.
I can’t realistically see us getting anything from the game tomorrow, so I’m going to go for an extremely unrealistic draw and sod the prediction league.
Me too DG.
Cav and Saiss to start please with Traore on the bench. Cav to score.
Sitting on me ands in the Spurs section.
COMBs!
Last time I went to Wembley Andy scored the winner, they gave us no chance then, just like tomorrow. Can’t wait to walk the Wembley Way. C O Y W.
Spurs strength is their attacking skills whereas ours definitely isn’t. Hoping to see our defence playing at their best to thwart the inevitable onslaught. A draw would be an outstanding result for me.
In a bizarre way our players will enjoy this game more than the fulham game as Spurs will not pick 6 defenders but they will however be more clinical in front of goal so we will have to defend much better. It’s quite daunting that they have scored 11 in 2 but in both games their opponents had numerous chances. It’s a pity Jota is still injured but this surely means Cav has to start.
This may well be our toughest game of the season, so far.
Spurs are on fire at the moment and scoring for fun. We are not firing on all cylinders, so Nuno will have to prepare them brilliantly for this game.
We are missing Jota who was looking sharp before his injury.
I think the wide pitch of Wembley would suit Traore out wide, but I have a feeling that Cavaleiro will come in as will Neves for MGW.
First goal will be critical and Wolves need to get it.
9/1 at the bookies for a Wolves win. I would be delighted with a draw.
We have a great record against the top teams but I can’t see us getting much tomorrow. Spurs are flying at the moment and banging in goals for fun, I think we will still make a game of it but they were so clinical when we played them at home and although we have a better defence than their last 2 victims they have the personnel to breach it.
No doubt that we can hold our own against Spurs if we play our best football but the recurring problem comes with who puts the ball in the net.
Wolves 1
Spurs 3
Nuno said they were going to learn from the game against Liverpool and since I trust him…
I think Wolves will get 2 goals – Cavaleiro and Jimenez. Since Spurs are on form, I will give them one more than I usually predict for opposing teams.
Sorry folks but I’m going for a 2-2 tie.
Can’t really see us getting anything from this game to be honest. But heart rules the head when it comes to the Wolves, so going for a draw.
Can’t see us getting anything at this one, but got to hope!
Well I’m aware that I’m sounding like the same old record week after week, but the simple fact is that we continue to struggle both to score and keep a clean sheet, which is a recipe, for disaster of course. Adding to that the fact that Spurs seem to be scoring for fun right now and I have to go for a 3 – o defeat I’m afraid.
This bloody prediction league! I just want.us to win!
1. We haven’t lost at Wembley for almost 80 years.
2. We’ve had a fair few decent results at Spurs.
3. Fulham away told Nuno all he needs to know about having to tighten up at the back.
4. Fulham away told Nuno all he needs to know about having to improve up front.
5. Spurs used up all their Xmas presents against Everton and Bournemouth.
So:
An arrest warrant has been issued against Fernando Foriestieri by South Yorkshire police. Couldn’t happen to a nicer cheating bastard. I hope that they throw away the key!
Mmmm. I’m not his greatest fan either. Funny how the on-field antics of certain players really, really grate.
Foriestiere must be wanted for persistent diving! It’s criminal how much he does it. While the plod are at it, they could arrest a few others….
Attack , attack , attack
Neves back in and rested to exploit the big spaces
3 glorious goals to celebrate at Wembley
Utw
Bloggers ontour in London, it’s gonna end in tears and thick heads in the morning.
But three points will cheer ys up.
Spurms 0
Wolves 1
You must be hammered. You don’t look anything like your picture.
I can’t believe I’ve just got in from a magical night on the piss with Stuwolf, Lowves and the girls….. 1:55 it is …
I don’t see it as a good day as I think, reluctantly, that Spurs have too much arsenal…
Well we’re up showered and gold shirt on.
Next step breaky in Wetherspoons, ladies off shopping, us staying in Wetherspoons till time to go to Wembly ( not for the last time in the future)
Us to win 1-0.
And we may be persuaded to have another few drinks tonight to celebrate
Wolves on Tour
History seems to be offering me two contrasting scenarios. On one hand I have no clear memories of us ever doing much against Spurs, they were one of the London C lubs were never turned over even in the heady days of the late fifties. On the other hand, as others have pointed out, Wembley has been good for us. I was there in 1960, the win tainted a little by the injury to Whelan which reduced the opposition to ten men. The event was soured for me by his reaction in recent years when he seemed to be saying that Normal Deeley – surely the least physical player you could think of – had delberately set out to break his leg.
I was also there in 1974. What a day!! When I look at the City forward line of Summerbee, Marsh, Bell, Law and Lee I’m reminded of what we were facing and what we overcame – albeit with a miss-hit Kenny Hibbittt goal and John Richards’ winner when the ball was deflected to him. What a shot he put in though.
So which do I go for …. why not be optimistic – I’m going for our Wembley history, our performance against top six sides and s narrow win. COYW
The form book, the bookies & the plundits all say we ain’t got a fekin chase.
Well fek the logarithm, fek paddy-power & fek Fat merse.
Hoping for a Lino with 20/20 vision.
Hoping we will see an attacking wolves side, with a strong back line.
Doc & Jonny will need to drink a red bull, Rui to provide an assist, Coady to clear anything that passes Rui, Bennett to put Ali on his arse, Boly to boot Lamela into row Z, Neves back in, front three is up to NES. Wolves to avenge the wrong at the Mol.
That’s how my heart sees it.
COMB, FOth & wb.
No-one has beaten us twice this season!
Can’t see us keeping a clean sheet with the way that Spurs attack at pace.
Hope you can say this May.
We do play well against the top teams and we certainly have nothing to lose as all pundits (except Wolves Bloggers) say either a small loss or an absolute hammering. I can’t see us winning here, but a respectable score will keep us confident.
Spurs in rich vein of form. I would be happy we play well in defeat.
I think I am the only grinch. I am full of doom and gloom and no, its not the Norwich beer still swimming in my tummy.
I just hope the Spurs lads captained by H.Kane M.B.E. ( whats that for ? Losing? Pah! ) do not really turn it on. I think they will stuff us ,first time this season but down we are going.
Isn’t that frog who is going to be picking the ball out of his net a couple of times the captain?
I was wrong on two counts and cannot be happier, Captain Frog in goal and a team of Generals opposing who make my doubts so insignificant.
Happy to apologise!
It’s not going to be easy but I really do fancy us for this one!
A battling display, but a defeat nonetheless. Hoping we win , and wipe the smug grin off my daughters boyfriends ugly face.
You don’t fancy him much then, Adrian?
No mate, he is a smug twat. They both went to the game though, so hoping my daughter is giving him hell,lol.UTW.
We shouldn’t jump ahead of ourselves. Tottingham are a darned fine team and we’re not at their level – yet.
A plucky 3-1 where we show spirit would be acceptable. Anything more we should be popping Champagne corks a couple of days early.
Ah, what do I know. ?
Stick to the sarnies!
A three man midfield might make it tighter, but Spurs are on a roll so inclined to predict they’ll win this one.
Can you Adam & Eve it. Carm dawn the Smoke and we bump into Twix’s younger Brother.
Are they from Australia?
Everyone is younger than Twixxy!!
Tough game today no doubt but we can always hope.
Prediction made more in hope than anything else.
well that line up is surprising dendonker at last and no saiss
traore on the right
no moutinho
neves to start
Interesting…. Neves and Dendoncker in -and Traore starts.
I can’t see us getting anything out of this match but would love to be proved wrong.
Strange team selection & bloody Atwell as ref. We got next to no chance
Based on last match ….
I think we will be ok.
Also who tf is DENDONCKER 😉
Get In. WTF. Spurs! LMAO
7th spot. Get In.
Traore did OK. He has to play right wing with basic instructions as to what to do.
I lost respect for Tottenham when their players were trying to trip Traore. If you think you are a top team, you shouldn’t be trying to trip players because they are causing you trouble.
Anyway 7th place. Let’s hope the Man U revitalization has stalled. The euphoria of Jose being gone can’t last forever.
Frustrating to hear the commentators only talking about what the loss would do for Liverpool or Spurs and nothing about what the win would do for Wolves chances for a top 6 finish or whatever.
What a win!
What a (second half) performance!
Keeps our unbeaten streak at Wembley going nicely.
YIPPPPPPPEEEEEEEEEE.
So glad to be so wrong with my score prediction
Well done & congratulations to Barry Bucknell. I think you’re the only one to predict the correct score.
Where did that come from. Bloody wonderful .
What the fuck do I know about football. Obviously not a lot.
Well done the lads &
Numo
UNDERPANTS ON HEAD TIME………..
It’s always underpants on head time at Melksham!
Excellent. I am always appreciative of places where people wear underpants on their head.
That was a “we were there day” boys and girls.
Merson, Merson.
What’s the score.
Merson,
What’s the score.
12th man carried them on a cloud of air.
10/10 for every single player.
These are the days my friends
Let’s hope they never end
We’ll sing & dance for ever & a day
We’ll live the life we choose
At Wembley we’ll never loose
We are the Wolves
Oh yes
We are the Wolves
However a little pissed we had to score a third to ruin my 1:2 prediction 🙂
Say we hate Albion & Spurs & Leeds & Forestieri & Kane & Tripier
2nd on MOTD and still they’ll speak about how Spurs lost.
Well done everyone connected to WWFC and when 3,000 can out sing 47,000 even when 0:1 down shows how special this is in the now.
And nice to see StuWolf got in on Cav’s picture below
