A Merry Xmas to all Wolves Lovers…..
Right, i know it’s christmas and all that but all good will’s gone out of the window for me. I can’t believe it. I’ve only just noticed that our esteemed management team have deemed it a good idea to sell our 20 YEAR OLD Scott Malone for the princely sum of £150k. I’m almost too angry to type. £150k for a 20 year old left sided left back or left wing with REAL PACE, SKILL, AND AN EYE FOR GOAL. As we all know, attributes we already have in abundance. Far too many decent left sided players already. You couldn’t make it up!
I saw Malone play for the development side at Newport 18 months ago and he was by far our best player. The only one that looked like he had real class. A different class to Batth who was also playing imo. Yes he was a bit lightweight but building muscles is easy if you’ve got pace and skill.
As a Bournemouth resident for many years, i took a particular interest in his loan move. They moved him forward to left midfield and he has been outstanding for them. On top of that he has scored several times already, two of the goals even Messi or Ronaldo would have been proud of. I’m not joking. A 30 yarder in a friendly v Southampton when the goalie didn’t even move and a mazy solo effort from the half way line.(if anyone can find them and post them on here you can see for your self.) The sort of skill we just don’t see at Wolves and obviously something McCarthy can’t stand.
I just give up. What the hell is going on at our club. Ok he may not kick on but if he isn’t one of our youngsters who is worth persevering with, who the hell is. And all for£150k!
McCarthy go now please, before it’s too late. My blood pressure can’t stand much more.
What if Malone was set on moving to Bournemouth? Would McCarthy or anyone else have the power to stop him?
For a start if McCarthy had brought him back as a first team squad member, there’s no way he would be choosing Bournemouth. They’re very short of money and the wages must be a lot less.Second we don’t have to sell anyone under contract unless we get an offer we can’t refuse. I imagine there’s a sell-on clause which basically means a percentage of the full amount WE should have been getting. I’ve got to stop thinking about it now. Well that’s what my nurse said anyway.
Just watched that goal – it does seem a pity to sell a good prospect like this. OK, you might argue that we need experienced players to help drag us out of the relegation fight, but we lack creativity and skill so why not keep young players like this and at least give them a chance?
Also, if we DO (whisper it) get relegated, then he could’ve been handy in a lower division.

Ok the goal in the friendly was Cardiff not Southampton but here it is. How many of our first team could ever score a goal like this?
What a goal, can’t believe he has left Wolves, surely he would have been worth a chance, it must be so frustrating being a young player under MM
Merry Xmas to all at Wolves Blog.
Keep up the good work.
Cheers
Cherries agree deal for Scott Malone
Posted on: Fri 23 Dec 2011
What Bournemouth think we are losing out on.
Malone, who joined in the summer on a six month loan deal, has made 21 appearances and has scored three goals this season, and has been a revelation since moving into midfield.
Cherries boss Lee Bradbury said, “I’m really pleased that he’s signed and he’s been a really good player for us. Since I’ve moved him up a position into midfield he has excelled, he’s been a threat going forward with his pace and he’s got a good attitude.
“There would have been a few clubs who would have liked to have signed Scott, but he’s seen what we are doing at the club and he wants to be part of it.
“I wanted to get it nailed down before the transfer window reopened. He wanted to stay and we wanted to keep him, so it was the perfect deal.
“He’s a young lad and he’s got a lot of potential, we want to keep him at the club as long as we can. I think he will be a key player for us, he will have to get fit and get back in the team but I know I can rely on him.”
Director Tom Mitchell added, “Everyone at the club is delighted that Scott has committed his future to us. He’s an exciting player with huge potential, and the deal speaks volumes about where this club is heading.
Happy christmas Bournemouth fans, i hope you like your present. I’m sure you’ll have a very prosperous new year!
lots of love Uncle Mick.
Thanks for ruining my Christmas Martin! Words fail me! Whats the point in running an academy? Suppose it’ll be Zeli next, at a knock down Jan sale price! Aaagh!
tough times for wwfc, most megalomaniacs’ saving grace is that they are intelligent. this muppet has fuck all. 1 point from Norwich and Stoke at home…. how he is still in a ajob, is a Christmas miracle in itself.
SPOT ON COULDN’T PUT IT BETTER MYSELF
Happy Holidays All..
Sorry for being a miserable c*** all season… mick brings out the best in me.
Merry Christmas!

You’re spot on there. What a great job Thomas and Ben have done with this site. Its a labour of love no doubt but is saving the Nat Health Service a fortune in fees for the
therapy we’d all be needing without Wolves Blog! Happy Christmas!
Our academy is confirmed as a future revenue stream, with the players having no chance of ever playing for wolves first team, All I want for Christmas is a new manager.
Apart from McDickhead, i have another Christmas joke.
3 guys die on Christmas Eve, and go to the pearly gates.
St Peter says ” If you have something Christmas related in your pockets, you can come in to heaven.”
First guy pulls out a cigarette lighter, flicks it on and says
“Christmas candle”
“OK, you’re in” says St Peter.
Second guy pulls out a set of keys, waves them around and says
“Christmas Bells”
“OK, you’re in” says St Peter.
Third guy pulls out a pair of women’s panties and says
” They’re Carols”
FOMM
LOL!!
How about we combine these two jokes of yours – turns out that the third person is Mick –
Ahh, what am I doing?
Um… Mick Jagger! Yeah, that’s what I meant – Mick Jagger!
Well, with that image in your head…Merry Christmas! 😛
Merry Xmas, all. I hope all those of us who have had a punch-up with Mick will be having a couple of pints with him and the happy clappers after the conclusion of a successful season.
Once again, Happy Christmas to everyone and their loved ones. C’mon, you Wolves!
There is a Sanity Clause after all!!
You will be pleased to know that the powers that be at Fox Soccer Channel over here have realized that the Arsenal game has been postponed for 24 hours, and they changed their schedule to accomodate it!!!
You can run, Arsene Wenger, but you can’t hide.
Now I get to watch the match on Tuesday morning, live, while the rest of America goes back to work!!
Now if Sanity Clause will just grant my other wish………………………..FOMM
I’m guessing that your letter would have been lost amongst all the Blackburn supporters calling for Kean’s head…
Nah….I can’t write!!!!!!!
A father bull and a son bull are grazing in a field on xmas day.
A herd of cows appear at the bottom of the field.
The son sees them and says to his father, lets run down there and boom boom some cows.
The father replies, no, lets walk down there and boom boom all of them.
The masochist says to the sadist, hit me. The sadist says no.
Following the problems in the sub-prime lending market in America and the run on Northern Rock in the UK, uncertainty has now hit Japan.
In the last 7 days Origami Bank has folded, Sumo Bank has gone belly up and Bonsai Bank announced plans to cut some of its branches.
Yesterday, it was announced that Karaoke Bank is up for sale and will likely go for a song while today shares in Kamikaze Bank were suspended after they nose-dived.
While Samurai Bank are soldiering on following sharp cutbacks, Ninja Bank are reported to have taken a hit, but they remain in the black.
Fuji Bank has a mountain to climb if they are to survive this crisis and the statements from the Sudoku bank have been quite puzzling.
Furthermore, 500 staff at Karate Bank got the chop and analysts report that there is something fishy going on at Sushi Bank where it is feared that staff may get a raw deal.
Merry Xmas all. Happy banking.
