Now i’m confused as im only a young lad!
2 – Lee Mills
6 – Guy Whittingham
isnt 10 Glenn Crowe? And 7 Silas?, 8 Isaac Okoronkwo? I know 6 too but can’t find a name
Number 5 is Duncan, from PJ and Duncan isn’t it? He looks like he’s getting ready to rumble. Psyche.
As for Lee Mills, most people are probably more familiar with him from his days as manager of the mighty Bridgnorth Town in the Midlands Alliance last season.
1 – Lewis Gobern
2 – Lee Mills
3 – Adey Williams
4 – Neil Masters?
5 –
6 – Guy Whittingham
7 – Silas?
8 – Segundo Castillo

10-
All I can muster for now 🙂
Pretty sure 4 isn’t Neil Masters, he came from Bournemouth when i was living there and it don’t look like him. And anyway, that bloke looks like he’s actually on the pitch. Masters would have been in the treatment room….or back in Bournemouth with his girlfriend. Pity cause he had real potential.
Haha! Fair comment mate. I remember watching Neil Masters play for Wolves away at Tranmere one Boxing Day (it may have been his debut, not sure) and I thought wow what a player! But then he hardly played after that, succumbing to all manner of injuries…
Oops just looked him up on the net. Yep that’s him.
Yeah that was his debut and he was voted man of the match. I saw a lot of him at Bournemouth and he pretty much had it all. Think he was left back wasn’t he. Wonder if he’s still available?!
Yeah left back. Haha but you gotta be joking about whether he’s available! He must have retired by now. Those knees of his were made of glass!
He did smash the crossbar in the snow against Birmingham though, so his Wolves career wasn’t a total waste
Is 5 Dougie Freedman…?
Is that a joke. He wasn’t that forgettable was he?!
Rich I meant David Connally! I think it’s him anyroad.
Remarkably, I was only talking about Dominic Foley the other day, his late winner at Swindon will live long in the memory
What is it with you and Dominic Foley!
Is number 5 the infamous Robert Niistroy?
number 1 is Gary Breen
number 2 is Gary Breen
number 3 is Gary Breen
number 4 is Gary Breen
number 5 is Gary Breen
number 6 is Gary Breen
number 7 is Gary Breen
number 8 is Gary Breen
number 9 is Stevie Bull
number 10 is Gary Breen
“Roger Johnson”. There. I said it.
10 is Keith Lowe
I think number 9 is the mysterious Robert Nistroj (sic)
Guy Whittingham, Dom Foley, Adie Williams, Ah the memories.
Not sure who No. 5 is but that’s a pretty special hair do.
I can only get 6 🙁
Sorry to spoil the fun bloggers, but have anyone seen what roger the dodger johnson has put in the E&S.Giving us a right bollocking.
I agree with Johnson. Disgracing, disgusting, it stinks. A Bluenose who hasn’t been here 5 minutes slagging off Wolves fans. There is something seriously wrong with our club at the moment .
disgraceful even
I think his anger is misplaced, although it’s no surprise that he sticks up for his team-mates. It isn’t Karl Henry’s fault if he’s picked to play is it? I think we need to focus on the organ-grinder, not the monkey.
Since we’ve already seen that some of the players that MM won’t play are capable of good things this shows that he should take more notice of the fans…but will he?
5……………Darius Kubicki, oh the memories, nurse, nurse, my pills…….please
Can we play in green next weekend?
Might get a better performance out of Doyler then.
FOMM
Thomas,
where is my scarf?
I am an interested Aussie who wants wolves to stay up again.
Reading the comments about defending or lack of it, is only because we have not serious attack. Of all the chances that are generated we can’t score, without fletcher we would not have won a game.
What seems to me as unusual is that wolves play 2 strikers however 1 of them Doyle is at best a mid fielder. So we are playing 5 or 6 mid fielders each game with nobody able to score goals except 1 striker fletcher, we need goals to win.
Doyles goal record is 50% of fletchers or other strikers for the wolves, even as a midfielder his assists and goals are bad.
We need another striker if we want to stay up in the premier league, only with a good striker can, Hunt, Jarvis, Ohara …etc do what they are best at creating chances for good strikers.
Minutes played goals scored statistics for doyle are Bad, to stay up we must win, to win we must score strikers need a goal every 3 games.
If not we are all fighting a losing battle, get a good striker on loan if need be and lets stay up again.
Maybe i don’t know what i am saying, however with another fletcher we would have 3 or 4 more goals. Fletcher has played 80% of the time Doyle has and scored 3 goals Doyle has 1 for 7 games, no assists to me that is wasted space and no way we can out score other teams, they know this as well and counter attack us more. Mick wake up get another striker take the pressure off the rest of the team, so we can be more attacking and thereby not having as many goals scored against us because the other teams will respect our ability to score.
Other Managers must look at our attacking ability and smile to themselves, imagine if we had 3 to 4 more goals where would we be on the ladder.

John
and he only played
Welcome, John. I kind of agree with you, although I am loathe to be so hard on Doyle. In his first season, he was brilliant, especially as a lone striker holding the ball up in a 4-5-1. However, as time has gone on, opposition teams do seem to have sussed his tricks and movement and so he does appear to be less effective this season, and hardly “Superman” as he has been described here … more like Clark Kent at the mo, if you ask me.
If we had (someone like) big Chris Iwelumo still in the squad, I’d consider putting him into Doyle’s position for a trial run. Maybe a big strong target man would be a good foil for Fletcher. But we don’t, so we can’t …
I believe we lob more high balls into the box than most teams in this league. This is partly because top PL teams also have other much more effective ways of creating chances like keeping the ball on the ground with incisive movement and accurate passing, quite often resulting in simple tap-ins. Now wouldn’t that be nice to watch but we don’t have the skill levels to play that sort of football.
On a good day we manage to keep the ball fairly well in midfield, on a bad day it’s back to the keeper and a long punt up field.
This type of fooball at the top level went out with the ark and most strikers would struggle in our team at present . But if you are going to play 2 wingers crossing long high balls, you need at least one big lad who’s good in the air. I do wonder what Maierhoffer could have done if he had been given a proper chance.
Yeah, statistically we hit more long balls than any other team in the Premier League.
