What exactly constitutes a ‘relegation battle’?

An increasing number were murmuring it on Friday, but I don’t think we’re quite there yet.
Even after getting tonked by Leeds and today’s fixtures, Wolves are still seven points outside the bottom three with a game in hand.
I’m not saying we won’t get dragged in, but I think fears of slogging it out with the likes of Bolton and Charlton over the second half of the season are still slightly premature.
Performances haven’t been entirely awful (i.e. of Solbakken/Saunders vintage) so I maintain my belief we’ll end up sandwiched in midtable.
Sheffield Wednesday
The Owls have had a go this season, changing the manager and investing in some proven Championship talent to force their way into promotion contention.
They started well, but seem to have fallen away of late and come into this fixture winless in their last four matches.
Victory tomorrow will put them right back on the coat tails of the play-offs though and sixth place is still very much up for grabs for most of the top half.
Home form has been solid thus far, with five wins, four draws and just a single defeat from their 10 Hillsborough fixtures to date.
Wolves are one of their bogey teams though so fingers crossed that hoodoo will continue for at least a little longer.
Wolves
I really hope Kevin McDonald makes it. His blossoming partnership with Jack Price has been one of the major plus points in recent times.

The above shows a couple ideas I’d like to see Kenny Jackett trying.
Moving Iorfa into the middle in place of the error prone Ebanks-Landell and restoring Matt Doherty is a double win for me.
I think Iorfa’s long term future lies at center half, whereas Doherty is neater in possession and might offer more penetration in the final third.
Nathan Byrne did enough on Friday to show he’s worth a run in the side at the expense of the hit and miss James Henry.
And why not give Grant Holt a chance to lead the line, thus freeing up Benik Afobe to play in his preferred position and help build the play?
Predictions
I’d like to think we’d have a decent chance of getting a win out of our three festive fixtures. But Reading at home and Charlton away probably offer a better opportunity than this.
We won this game last season to end a difficult run, and a similar scruffy one nil would do nicely. However, I don’t think we’re capable of keeping the back door shut.
I’m on the fence but I’ll back us to get a point.
1-1
Up The Wolves!

Maybe enough to ease the worries, but hardly enough to set the pulse racing.
We have enough head scratching performances where we seem not to turn up.
It’s time for us to be left wondering – where did this surprisingly decent performance come from?
Not lost at Hillsborough since 1964 in 16 visits. Apparently, according the Owls websites I have been reading, Wednesday have a patched up defence on Sunday. Sound promising? Depends on what side KJ picks. My guess is he will pick the same old, same old. Personally I would drop Henry and Edwards and play Byrne and Enobakhare in their places. I’d also find a place on the bench for a couple of the talented kids like Conor Ronan rather than people like Holt. Might also be tempted to play Iorfa as centre back and Doherty at right back. If McDonald is unfit then play Coady.
Heart ruling head – hope over reality – mind over matter – needs over must – dreams over nightmares…..
we ain’t lost at Hillsborough in the league since 1964 I think – the run to continue.
The run has to continue otherwise looking at the table we are being sucked into the whirlpool of relegation and unlike some of the other teams around us we just ain’t got enough bottle when the crunch comes.
Last defeat there in any competition was 26th September 1964 when I was nearly 8 and you were 11. Lol!
Blind optimism only.
Thomas.
That’s a team I like in absence of Kortney Hause or any chance of KJ ever playing Deslandes.
Loosing our crazy mate cheeseballs to cricket in South Africa leaves me and Clive as the only crazies on here. So I’m going five for Clive again.
With Batth feckin up again to give them a gift. I will be there tomorrow, confirms the last paragraph.
🙂
Strangely optimistic about tomorrow, reckon it’s about time for a dominating performance. COYW!!
Your 3rd 1-1 in a row Thomas if ‘m not mistaken. I just have to go for my 3-1again We should be too strong for them given a couple of, l hope, changes in KJ’s selection. I said abrace for Afobe last wednesday; he didn’t quite get there but he will tomorrow.
Hope springs eternal. .. 🙂
We are a team lacking confidence, … Have a manager who says he know s how to turn it around yet results and performances don’t back that up…. Have a CEO and a ghost owner who don’t give a shite about the club or it’s fans … And yet out of blind loyalty I can’t predict a loss.
Moxey … Hell hath no fury like a Twixfix scorned ….
Draw. Our away form is much better than at home. we like Hillsborough and I think we will come away with a draw which isn’t a bad result given our poor form lately. Any way well fuckin happy with shite defeat. Cheered me up.
Carnt see any other result. Kennys is In deniel ” we not that far away ” mode. Those who think we are not in a relegation battle well ill ask you again Sunday night.
Clueless Kenny will no dout stick to the same formula of burying his head in the sand play one up front, Edwards and Henery we could not be heading to Hillbourgh in worse form I carnt see our record of not losing since 1964 being in tact tomorrow evening.
Kenny keeps pointing out the teams faults and short comings but seems to have shut down and like a former German dictator keeps telling himself that its everyone else fault bar his.
I’m liking your team Thomas. Here’s hoping for some away comfort, with the team escaping its Molineux shackles.
sorry no predictions from me, i cant be arsed
the only score i want to see is Jacketts Job 0 : 1 Jacketts P45
sorry the tide has turned, your broken record ramblings about diappoitnment and improvement are only slightly less pathetic than your useless tactics and substitutions.
Goodbye Kenny
Hoping that a lot of changes are made…there’s no reason to keep throwing up the Dave/James show to the “wolves”….
Concur with the post…move Iorfa inside. That was probably the reason that the insane sale of our only seasoned center back was made….at least I hope there was a logical thought process…
We’re absolutely dying here across the pond with our boys season to date…make the Motor City happy boys
COYW
A draw and goals. Can’t see us winning.
I think this will be a better performance for us because we are away from home and playing a better team. Having said that, I still don’t think we are good enough to win and SW have an incentive to straighten out their record against us. A narrow loss methinks.
Agreed Vic. C’mon lads prove us wrong!
UTW!
It’s looking bad no dought about it, but KJ says he may ring the changes, so on that basis alone I’ll go for a Wolves win, i must be mad.
3 points would make a decent Christmas present.
Thank you
Hope now constitutes a 1-1 draw
How sad
Hopefully 3 points from Reading keeps us ticking along mid ish table but don’t know why we would beat blades tomorrow
Boxing Day game on Telly … Hope that will be a keeper
My cable co bolloxed my attempt to record the game vs Nasties on Thursday . Saved me second half trauma at least… But on tv we are usually shit
No
Still can’t get to 1-1 forecast v Sheffield
How sad
After Thursdays debacle I cannot be arsed to make any worthwhile comment, so because its Christmas, I’ll copy and paste my usual, wrong prediction
And fuck you, greasel, and the horse you rode in on
FO wb
I must admit to being well over Kenny’s ravings.
Can’t we just try something different.
Surely we have to put in a 90 minute performance eventually.
I like the look of your team Thomas.
It’s got to be worth giving the big fella a run out up front with Afobe or, as many bloggers have already said, what was the bleedin’ point of getting him here in the first place. And my good chum Dangerous Dave needs a rest.
We need to assert ourselves and rough Wednesday up a bit or we’ll end up not knowing what day of the week they are.
The two changes I would make to your line up are in defence.
I’d put Stearman and Ricketts in the middle.
Or am I missing something?
Or are WE missing something?
We only have the current option of bringing in Doherty and swopping Iorfa around or bringing in another youth defender..
(Loan in Jan)
We obviously can’t play EBL ..it just leaves DB to Master the line which we know he can’t do…Williamson proved that..We almost need 3 to win
because we will concede at least one I reckon…
Slipping down the league with a sieve at the back is not good for the heart..
We could win this if we create enough chances it’s the stuff we give away as usual at the back that will determine the result..
Iorfa is almost a frustrated winger wanting to score ..we haven’t seen him at CB it’s an interesting plan….not sure he likes that but even Frank Munro was a forward once and he was masterful at CH.
We are clutching at straws ..these 3 matches should be easier with important points at stake ….I’m at Charlton soon ..we need a winning run like there is no tomorrow..
With the resources we have with the pressure on I’m not sure we can do it anymore …but I actually fancy us more away from home..inc this one.
Mmmmm – and Stephen Ward started off as a centre forward.
And went on to become….?
Play 2 up front & see what happens. Something has to change now.
I’m off to take my lad & his 2 cousins to see Santa at the West Mid Safari Park so it’ll be a great family day, loads of fun, lots of positive energy & hearing from Tipton Exile that we’ve won when I get back! Perfect!
Come on lads make it happen!!!
We are Wolves!!!
That would be my team too – at least to start with. Let Afobe play off Holt. Just hope it doesn’t leave us light in midfield. No basis for my optimism.
Just hoping we don’t lose again.
Like a few others dont feel much like trying to predict today just good luck to the players and the fans.
No idea. Let’s go for the old one two.
A draw at best, price looks our best midfielder at the moment I think he passes better and quicker than macdonald why not give him the chance to be our creator because the over loved macdonald has not done so recently
I hate predicting a loss but I have a dread that things will get worse before they get better. I’m already thinking of next season as this one seems done, barring a complete reversal in fortunes, and with the club up for sale and all the uncertainty that brings, I can’t see it. Unless Santa brings a new owner later in the week. I console myself at times like these that at least I’m not a Chelski fan.
I’ll go with the blind optimism of so many on this site, when my head says something like 3-0 to Sheffield. Live in hope!!!!!!
Just emerging from my dark corner for long enough to post this. Like many on here it seems, I have a strange optimism about this game. Only I have a concrete reason for this positivity.
The odds seem stacked against us, and that’s when our heroes tend to confound their critics and come up with the goods.
Pretty weak I know, but it’s all I’ve got to cling to.
Have to agree with you on team selection. Will be quite happy to take a draw
I like your side Thomas, but do you really think Jackett will make the changes,I don’t think so.
I’m a bit optimistic in my prediction it’s on the basis of your team selections, and another factor
we’re away from home.UTW.
I’m afraid I’m with Adamant, had enough of Jacket, a good L1 manager but can’t cut the mustard in the Championship. Get rid now and give a new guy a shot of moving us up the league. Jacket can’t see the wood for the tree’s, team selections are driving me mad and he does not have a plan B. I am staying away from the Golden Palace until hope is restored. In my 50 years of supporting wolves I have never felt so let down, at this moment in time I would welcome back Solbacken. Hope you all have a fantastic Christmas and a prosperous 2016,a few more losses and Jacket will be gone and Ian Holloway will get us marching in the right direction.
Seriously? 50 years? This is worse than 1985? Get real, mate.
Besides, until you’d welcome DEANO back with open arms you can’t have reached the depths of despair yet. I don’t think any of us are quite at that point.
I thought Solbakken wasn’t that bad, he just inherited a bunch of spoilt brats who were convinced they were too good for the division, the club, the manager and the fans.
I’m a fan of ‘Olly, but saying Jackett’s found his level when he got us to within goal difference of the playoffs last year is daft. Then he had Sako, Dicko and Stears. Now he’s got Holt and no Championship quality centre back to stick beside DB. If the board give him the cash to invest in decent players’ wages (don’t care about transfer fees, wages are what’ll attract quality with experience), I don’t see why he can’t make them perform like he did last year.
If we go for a knee-jerk manager ousting with no-one in the wings I fear for the second half of our season.
UTW.
I have no idea how we’ll perform. But no chance of a clean sheet.
I’m on the coach on the way to the game.
Word from Molineux.
Jackett has been dragged in and told if no improvement he’s out Ian Holloways in.
Afobe’s dad who is his agent say’s it’ 50/50 that he’s off, mutual agreement beteween him and club that’s in everyone’s interests.
Team today,
Doherty is in for EBL
Edwards is out with Henry probably slotting in.
Byrne starts.
But 1pm will see if they’re right.
Rumour comtrol.
With Graham and Bryne in the first team and Afobe scoring again we should emphasis the positive. As we all know it doesn’t take too many world beaters to score goals in this league just a few players who can beat their man and one or two to put the ball in the back of the net. As Kenny puts it the equation hasn’t yet produced the winning formulae but I’m still hopeful the defence can be sorted again.
The Wednesday must put their faith that the stats will turn round in this fixture; not so!
ps had to chuckle at the sandwell scrappers; nice one Eddie Howe you found the buttons to push and push them you did!
All problems solved All naysayers vanquished
As others have done I will not predict a result for this match.
Badly done Wolves, very badly done, sort it out NOW.
All jinxes eventually come to an end.
Hell I should be going but I can`t be bothered, I`ll sit at desk in nearby Chesterfield doing the Christmas quiz for our festive residents. I`ll keep in touch via sky sports.
The local owls fans have a new owner, he`s put the prices up and pissed off many an away team`s fans, but unlike Morgan ever did he`s spent some of his own money to get in with a chance of the playoffs, so good luck to them.
While this is a happy hunting ground for wolves as others have identified in their blog posts, and despite them raving about Danny Baath from his loan spell there a couple of seasons ago, if we defend like we did against Leeds, I fear another uncomfortable afternoon I`m afraid. Hope I`m wrong, and I`ll be chuffed to bits if I am.
I felt a 3-1 win last time, but perhaps I got the date wrong – so let’s try again!!!
A drab affair I reckon.
Must get this one right
A very interesting lineup.
I really hope we can get a good result against Shef wed, but I fear the worst. Luckily for us they’ll probably start without Nuhiu up front. I’m sure he could headbang in one goal or two against a fragile wolves defence.
Three points please santa, and I think we’ll get them. Who is in behind Afobe? Byrne? Jordan? Fer sure we need a new CB in January then we should go up the table.
Strange old selection today – wondering how that lot will line up.
For some reason thought KO was 4.00 Just switched on to find we lost 4-1. Aaaagghhh. One sub used – what was that about????
More doom and gloom. Then again we may win 4-0?????
Oh bugger, just seen its half time, and 2-1 to them, oh dear.
Another pathetic shambolic performance. Whilst Morgan and Moxey are ultimately responsible Jackett is culpable too. 3-1 down with 15 minutes to go, only used one sub and with three attacking players on the bench so what does hecdo? Bugger all. As usual. Sorry Kenny its time to get your coat.
It’s that Mourinho moment for Wolves. Give Ian Holloway a temporary run till end of season but appoint him now so he can call in a few loan favours in January.
4-1 down, still only used one sub – just two shots on target in 90 minutes and one of those was the penalty. Pathetic. Jackett must go now or relegation beckons once more. How can we go from just outside the play offs last season and one of the pre-season favourites for promotion to this? Eh Morgan you w***er? Eh Moxey you pr**k? Eh Jackett you tw*t?
That was the KJ show …no answers and no job..nightmare..
Gutted in pub in sheffield. What a load of shit. KJ moxey the board morgan the players hang your sorry fuckin heads in shame. The mighty Wolves reduced to a pantomime act.sad. pathetic.
Well I really enjoyed the game today absolutely brilliant, great match right up until the ref blew for the ko and then again when he blew for full time that was brilliant.
The bit inbetween was pure dross, drivel, dire, devastating, disasterous Diahorrea. The dreaded long hoof the ball in the air tactic was reintroduced with the same results as we suffered before, on the floor you numpties, on tne floor. The dreadful Doherty played in place of Golbourne, hello EBL was the one that was shite last time out. To be fair though, Danny Batth and Doherty were so bad he went unnoticed.
At least Jackett then chanced things in our favour, he took off our second best player and stuck on a Fat Fuck who after 5 minutes was buggered, well and truly buggered.
A poor display that will probably end in tears for KJ, his answer to our losing is to put Holt on, Oh yeah. Well if that’s true my arse is a kipper.
I feel like a proctologist, we’re just going through the motions.
When I was this bad I was in ITU for six Months.
Turning my brain off tonight, Christmas brain transplant.
Bah feckin Humbug.
As much as he really doesn’t know what to do about it ..KJ was really honest with our defence shortcomings in the post interview ..I’m starting to feel sorry for him a bit..
Williamson was the clue to success ..with EBL needing a club protection
order lol…As for DB I’m mystified..
Steve.
I just watched the KJ post match interview, as you say honest apraisal.
My week is just going from bad to worse,
A couple of days ago my Nan dropped down dead in Lidl, so me and my brother have been round her house sorting the stuff out. I had the TV and DVD player but my brother went a bit over the top. He took the Fridge, the cooker, microwave, washer drier, cutlery and crockery. My poor Granddad he was really pissed off, he’s still living there.
You are a VERY naughty boy!
And I don’t even think you are the Messiah.
It’s looking like ‘here we go again’ with the ‘sack the manager game’. If KJ is given the big heave-ho, just who would we get ? The overall plan of youth has gone totally tits-up with no plan B in place.DB is not up to Championship level;EBL might be a decent player…in time but at present he’s a bloody liability;Iorfa could well be snapped up in January/end of season.Basically this team is a League 1 side and it looks like that’s where we are headed at speed and KJ can say as often as he likes that he can fix it,if he’s no decent players it aint going to happen.
Listened to it at work dire absolute dire. Kenny AGAIN post match telling us what’s wrong, BUT no solutions just the usual sound bites.
Do you know who I’d get in a he just mad enough to expect one PAUL COOK he is going great guns at Portsmouth they are playing some good football he is an ex Wolves player he knows what this club means to the fans and as I’ve said barking enough to take the job on.
All those who still think we are not in a relegation battle, I’m sorry but we are and it Jackett stays in charge I fear it’s a battle we will lose.
Paul Cook, the Cookie-meister, now that IS an interesting thought.
He’s done his apprentership started a Sligo Rovers, my dads home town club in Ireland had success there then came to England and got a team promoted from Conference to League 2 and now he is sorting Pompy out.
He our man he is also a players manager , he’s fro Liverpool that should appeal to Morgan.
Not long got back from the game and whilst I always try to remain on an even keel about our prospects the inescapable impression I have today is that we are a team destined for another relegation. Our defence is brittle beyond belief. Our players scream mediocrity. Our young talent is trying to mature without any wise old heads guiding them and I think are starting to go backwards in a struggling team.
how the fuck is this man still in a job …
I would endorse Cookie too.
My penny worth is, Kevin MacDonald to get the captains armband for Christ sake before it really is too late.
For me blame as before is squarely at the board.
Same old philosophy is that there has to be a profit in it.
Stearman sold to lower wage bill no replacement
Jacobs sold to lower wage bill and allow us to sign in Byrne
Replacing sako with loanee and youth player
Dicko injured we fail to sign a striker to replace him
Remaining signings all young low wage players.
Sheffield Wednesday who finished lower than us last year by a considerable margin signed bannan, foresteri and mcgugan all with bags of talent and experience but with big wages.
Morgan has been running the club down the past twelve months. He will sell afobe and pocket the profit.
Sack jackett and you will achieve nothing no manager is going to join a club with no money for transfers or loans and no job security as the new owner will want to appoint a new manager.
Sack kj get another Tc after 2 months of searching.
Sheffield: So carry on and hope for the best is that what your saying ! Paul Cook would hardly cost a future and any new owner if he manage to save from the car crash of a season I’d have thought would be gratefully.
You would prefer to bury your head in the sand, like Jackett then…..yeah good plan !
Would love Paul Cook down here!!
Boy do we need to beat Reading and Charlton ..
Any of the managers mentioned would only be on a probationary interim contract and I can only see new owners materialise after this seasons finished..
No doubt KJ was destined to carry us until then but he’s killing us all in the process..
My biggest concern is Afobe who with Dicko next season should get fed with a bolstered team with real money behind us…we just can’t sell him..
The risk of being relegated is very real unless we stop conceding though …7 goals in two games incidently …
Could be KJs last words..
And what exactly do we think Paul Cook or any other manager is going to do? The problem is way beyond the manager it lies with the present owner and the grow your own policy. A chronic lack of investment on the pitch is what lies behind this. Sako and Dicko were largely responsible for our position last year. Now both have gone from the team and the lack of investment has been laid bare. It required some financial input at that stage not a make do approach .
KJ is far from perfect but until we have a new owner with some direction I don’t care who the manager is I doubt they can do anything different with both hands tied behind their back .
Well they could play 2 up front to start with off load a few midfielders Jackett brought over the summer. Your making out that Jacketts totally blameless.
So his tinkering with tatics, players and formations is the boards fault. His lack of action when teams are playing right through us.
Just because we are up for sale doesn’t mean, you carnt change something that’s not working because even Morgan I believe being a business man that he is knows if he lets thing slide to far he will be stuck with the club.
Kenny isn’t totally blameless as I alluded to but if you think this team can be transformed by changing formation or tactics then I just can’t agree. The base issue is we lost our 3 best players ( nothing to do with Kenny ) (including decision to sell Stears) and what is left just isn’t good enough. Kenny hasn’t been allowed to replace them unles a) they are cheap or b) on loan.
I seriously doubt if any other manager could turn this lot into a promotion side.
Let’s go a nd get stearman back in January . What a fuck up !
It’s far easier to say get rid of Jackett, than it is to say who would replace him. The board were slated for getting rid of Mick and ending up with TC ’cause nobody worthwhile wanted the job.
With the club’s ownership up in the air, the situation would be even more uncertain for the new incumbent. Would Cookie leave a secure job at a big club like Pompey to come to us? Doubtful. At this time anyway.
Holloway seems a more likely candidate, on an interim basis, but I’m sure he would want certain assurances from the board about the upcoming window. Would he get those assurances?
It’s a difficult conundrum for the 2M’s at the moment. One that is completely of their own making. Hoisted on their own petard.
Beg to differ Steve Bruce wanted the job, in fact he had a contract ready to sign but Morgan backed out. How do I know, he told me himself when I met him after he had taken over at Hull.
That’s true, but the vast majority of fans at the time reacted with dismay at the prospect.
You can’t concede 7 goals in 2 game an expect to climb the table, time to do something but what? This form has division 1 written all over it.
I’m with Linden it’s the owners, the board who are our downfall. Jackett has made mistakes like allowing Stearman to be sold.
I’m sure many other managers of a more aggressive character would have walked when that bit of business was done.
If we were getting Nigel Pearson who has a superior track record to Jackett I’d say yes please, but he would have to be backed by a decent committed owner & board as we’re at least 5 or 6 players short of a Derby or a Middlesboro.
The managerial suggestions on here are of the calibre of Morgan’s choices, Dean Saunders springs to mind.
I want us to be serious challengers for the Premier league, I want to see good committed entertaining football. To get that any decisions made about managerial changes have to be with a vision that wants the club to be great again and one that makes Wolves fans proud.
This board usually makes the wrong choice so maybe the best decision is the opposite to what they’re thinking of doing.
Like I said they are the problem. The owners set the ambition & the direction of the club our custodians keep letting us down.
I
M&M must be loving all this talk that nothing can be done no one would want to manage us etc etc. West Brom have been up for sale for yonks where are they ?. If you love Kenny just come out and say it and go and get your season ticket for the rest of the season.
So thats it then. Since Morgan put the club up for sale its pointless to criticise, pointless to expect change, pointless to expect the club to be managed and run properly – pointless not to be pointless. Masterstroke Mr Morgan.
There are two issues here.
Firstly, the quality of the squad has been reduced too much with no replacements of an acceptable quality for ND, BS and RS
Secondly, KJ is having a shocker, new signings having no benefit, confidence shot, cant defend, cant score…
So add the general running of the clubs finances to KJ’s crisis and its no wonder we are struggling.
Can he turn it round? Yes, but if we lose the next two or three I think he will be gone, sadly.
Odious and inevitable as Morgans ethics are the squad is better than this and that is KJ’s responsibility…
To be fair a lot on the blog now who think Kenny is getting too much stick werent on the blog towards the end of McCarthy. Now that was hard hat time.
I’m on the fence like Clive he’s a fence kinda bloke.
Jackett to go, Jackett to stay, he did a great job but now doing Shite to put it a tad mildly.
Will new owners come in, will they run a mile after seeing the last few games.
We only have to look at Moxey’s mate Sepp Blatter to see that what we think means diddly squat, we are but an incumberence to them, a means to an end.
Something Will happen, sooner or later. Obviously those of us with Gold and Black coarsing through our veins want it sooner, yesterday was painful to watch, Kenny has been sussed the other Managers know how to play him, I agree it’s not his fault, the set of circumstances he finds himself In were set in motion by someone far more sinister and one more evil than cuddly Ken. But he picks the team, he doesn’t send subs the on, he can’t read a game and goes on the TV stating “the bleeding obvious” if we can see the problems why can’t he? After all he is a tried and tested Div one coach.
When we went 2-1 down yesterday, bringing on an overwight unfit player with limited match experience wasn’t the best move he’s made, and he’s made a few strange ones this season. But I stood on the terraces freezing my butt off and looked at the bench, feck me we really are in trouble. Holt, Le Fondle, Wallace Coady, then EBL on the pitch with Danny Batth and Matt Doherty. Beyond the realms of farce, the Hobbit and Lord of the rings makes more sense to me than a Wolves team sheet.
As the wonderful JerryD said to me last night, “Out of the darkness comes a great big flesh eating monster”
Well I for one am looking forward. Wolves ay we and 24 hours from now our World could change, we’ve had the Batti’s we’ve had the Solbakkens, Connors, Saunders and the hoddles. We can wait a little longer.
Heard a lovely quote on the terraces yesterday. “Danny Batth has at last found his true level. Selling the big issue outside the Wolves shop in town”. He did’nt look out of place either, but he did on the pitch yesterday. I’m afraid coming from Brierley hill is not a right of passage, it just makes a good song we can slag Roger Johnson off with.
Let’s all wait and see, I sure Santa is just around the corner.
I really, really, really hope you’re right Stu. Great post amigo.
