If the footballing purists weren’t purring over our latest victory in front of the Sky cameras, the ‘stattos’ certainly were.
Our fourth consecutive away win without conceding a goal for the first time ever, keeper Ruddy’s 12th clean sheet to put him above any other, the first team to amass 50pts across all four leagues and the highest points haul at this stage of a Championship season since Mick’s 2008/09 vintage.
It’s inevitable then, that our minds cast back to the days of Big Chris, Kites and co, when they’re the only team on a stats sheet to come close to Nuno’s heroes of today.
We think of that 5-1 drubbing of Forest – which history decrees as the pinnacle – some swaggering down at The Valley and some sauntering up at Deepdale. We came, we saw and we bloody well conquered didn’t we? Usually in style.
But the memory airbrushes the more mundane of matches, including one particularly drab 1-0 win up at Hillsborough (ironically enough), which was worth as much as the 3-1 win at Bramall Lane ever was. Likewise a Collins header at Doncaster which barely registers when thinking of Big Chris and Sylvan away at Cardiff.
Of the 16 wins racked up so far this campaign, this one probably won’t be purred over with quite the same relish as so many others. It might even be forgotten completely. Nuno might view it differently though, knowing that successful campaigns are built on foundations such as these.
The fact is we’ve been spoilt rotten to date, gorging on a brand of attacking football not known in these parts since…well…2008? But with teams clogging Jota to within an inch of injury, Bonatini looking knackered and Cavaleiro mercurially frustrating, there has to be more than one way to skin a cat.
So if our previous thrashings of Bolton and Leeds induced giddy comparisons with Pep, then these three points were spirited from an early George Graham, chiselled from an impenetrable back line who dealt with the dirty side of the game without ever looking flustered. John Ruddy never tested.
In most triumphant seasons, particularly those in the Championship, top drawer performances can be counted on the fingers of one hand. The largest proportion comes from disciplined 7/10s and the rest come from a moment of magic or misfortune.
This win at Sheffield Wednesday probably sits somewhere between the last two categories, with Ruben Neves’ strike the one bit of discernible quality on show all night. It wasn’t perfect, but it was enough.
If you’re looking to bet on Wolves to finish the job with promotion in May, you can get an 888sport promo code 2018 to increase your stake and maximise winnings.
Legendary golfer Ben Hogan once admitted that he’d only hit three pure strikes in any given round. With a record breaking front-nine already carded, we should bear this in mind as we prepare to tee off again.
In a career that spanned nine majors, that raking one iron at Merion will be remembered by everyone, if not the umpteen clutch putts to save his bacon elsewhere.
This was a tricky six-footer we sunk in Sheffield. It was worth its weight in gold.

I watched the game on my super duper BT Business Broadband, in the cosy comfort of my front room, on my sofa, with the PMDG’er and a glass of Marstons Pedigree close at hand.
Did I say super duper?
Well, it was if you like to watch a constant loop of three seconds of fuzzy action followed by half a minute of perfectly sharp freeze frame while the bloody thing buffered (or whatever it does when that revolving arrow appears in the middle of the screen).
Bloody useless!
About the only bit of play we saw in its entirety was the goal.
Bloody marvellous!!
Who else could pass the ball into the net from 25 yards out?
(Apart from Dave Edwards when he was attempting to trap it.)
From what I did see, we were well off the pace from our stellar performances of a couple of weeks ago and need to tighten up.
The trouble is that a high powered, finely tuned V8 Ferrari (or Portuguese equivalent) doesn’t need much to go out of balance to affect it’s performance. At the moment, we’re only firing on 7 cylinders.
I think we need our points adjusting. (51 not enough for you then?).
But, having said that, if we are going through our bad patch it isn’t quite as bad as the one last season. Our 7 cylinders are still way too fast for most of the old bangers that make up this league.
I’m reasonably happy with 7 points from the last three games.
But it will be nice when we hit our Leeds/Bolton form again.
Picky, or what?
Incredible goal from Maestro Neves. It could be that the weather influences the portuguese players. The team isn’t exactly bobbling over with creativity and energy. They did enough to win and they would probably have pushed down the throttle further, if needed. The goal made it worthwhile though
Well we got the points and that was important, perhaps Diego needs to rest now before Ipswich as he seemed a bit frustrated, Cav seemed to be overplaying too much and gratefull that they took Jordan Rhodes off as he seemed to be giving Bennett a bit of a problem and the two brick s–t houses they put on were crap. Coady and Boly were magnificent Ruben pure class so all in all a gritty TEAM performance.
We won and, in a Championship drive to get promoted, that might be the main thing. I’m not sure if, as a paying fan, that would be my main concern in the Premiership, though.
What the main question should be is – is there any correlation between the colder weather and our slip to merely a great Championship side or have other teams figured ways to stymie our offense?
Nonetheless, too soon to worry.
12th clean sheet and I have to say listening to
a TV pundit ”Nuno has built from the back”..well….
I and Stu Wolf said this.. me being the obsessive one regarding conceding and give or take Brompton who even still might say that it’s better to score more,…this match proved if you go one goal ahead and even play half shite for us we still win 1 nil…3 points thank you very much..
I rest my case…and the Alamo is also no more…
DB must disappear eventually imo the standard has hit quantum level (Neves is a God) compared to the bad old days..
So ..big games coming up I can see ipshit kicking the hell out of us but if we can take points out of the nxt more difficult
Games then I think we are there..
The future could be cast by January..
Any bets on Afobe then lol?
I can assure you Afobe is not coming back to Wolves. Our aspirations are too high.
Except we offered £12M in the last transfer window…..
As we speak there is a Striker being shown around Molineux and Compton today. ( not making the same mistake as last transfer window then,)
Is it a striker we’ve been linked with in the media?
I bloody well hope not, we are years ahead of those now. Don’t have any other details other than someone is there. Might pop up to tje Mount hotel to see who he is. 🙂
I’ve heard he’s booked in at the Queens St. Chinese restaurant…. get yourself down there buddy ..
Then he’s off to the Moon under the Water in Lichfield St.
Finally he’s heading backto the Mount hotel with Jeff.
Clueso you are on the case.
Evidence? Even if true it was way before our current heady heights. Is someone who is 4th choice striker at best for a lowly premier team really going to be good enough? No way!
I fully agree that grinding out results such as this on dirty nights in the north are essential for any team with real promotional ambition. The fact that we have a magnificently organized defence is making this possible — Boly, Bennet and Coady have bonded into a tremendously effective unit.
However, we cannot endlessly count on keeping clean sheets. The fact that in the past few games we have , by our standards, looked stale going forward , with far less potency evident in the final third, must be of some concern. Leo and Jota particularly are looking very weary. Seems to me that the recruitment of an additional proven striker in the January window to share the load is essential. if our impetus is to be maintained
But Nuno is nothing if not well organized. I have no doubt that he has this issue well under control
If I heard the commentator correctly, Jota will be suspended for the next game (presumably 5th yellow). Yes I think not only the workload, but also the treatment he’s been getting have impaired his standard. Luckily Costa seems to be firing up again. I think Bennett might need a bit of a rest too. He got easily rattled by Rhodes and lucky not to be sent off.
I thought there was a reset after a certain amount of games and that Neves was unlucky because his 5th card was just before the reset time.
That would seem to indicate that Jota will not miss a game.
The cut off for yellows was on wed, so last nights card counts has his 1st.
Cheers Bill for that …
All in all it was a good performance in the circumstances. It was one of those that whilst not at there best, they were able to tough it out which is very much to the teams credit, particularly the defence who are the mainstay of our team.
Nevas and his brilliance is a joy to have, and wow what a goal.
The three attacking players are off-colour but they were never going to produce scintillating football and score 4 or 5 goals game after game. Bonatini is knackered and perhaps it’s time to utilise Costa a lot more with a false No 9 (say Jota) until the striker situation can be addressed in January. Costa looked sharp last night I thought.
The other thing to consider is the weather. It was absolutely bitterly cold in Sheffield and despite the fact that they are professionals this must have a major affect on the players when they are dressed only in a flimsy football top.The same can be said for the game against Sunderland last Saturday when the weather was again bitterly cold.I can remember from my own experience that it does not help when trying to concentrate the mind on good football.

I’d like to give Enobakhane a good run – but only after he’s been training how to shoot to score for about 500 intense hours – the talent is so huge – but he just can’t put the ball in the net sadly !!
So its bye bye then…is true he just can’t finish…
Maybe it is time to ignore the stupid comments about players wearing long sleeve shirts underneath there tops and just try to be as comfortable as possible in cold, sometimes wet and windy conditions.
Maybe it is time for fans to stop insisting that players be colder than necessary to prove they are somehow more manly.
COLD BLOODY COLD !!!
They dont know there born call thee selves men huh !
We used to play 2 bloody hours each way with no bloody boots on when we were stationed int arctic

I lived in Norway and the Norwegian Blue I saw was certainly not a bird lol.
Luxury pure luxury…………..
I very much hope Nuno will freshen things up in the forthcoming Christmas games .The team are wonderfully solid but look rather flat and uninspired just now .Costa at th every least to start next time .
It tickles me a little, this ‘can they play in the cold’ discussion. The Premier League is choc full of players from Spain/Portugal/Africa/South America. Nobody worries about them performing when the mercury shrinks. It’s just so much pie in the sky.
Watched the game in the Exchange with the Ivybridge Wolves Supporters club. I thought it would be a tough game, and so it proved. There’s no doubt we have dropped a little from the stellar performances of earlier in the season, but whether that’s because we are a little tired, or whether teams have worked out ways to stop us, is debatable. Probably something of both.
However, after Neves’s delightful, delectable, delicious strike, I never felt our three points were in danger. Our defense looked as composed and impenetrable as ever and John Ruddy made a couple of routine saves and catches, and that was his days work.
As Ben rightly says, we aren’t gonna blow teams away every week and these muck ‘n nettles performances are equally important when they count up the points at seasons end.
I was saying the exact thing to my brother about all the players in the Prem and where they were from!
Just stupid media comments, which are best ignored.
Afobe not coming mate – live with it. Was good to see us win without conceding but when Batth came on he did nothing but scare the shit out of me. He is a liability and should not be playing IMO. 1-0s still scare me though. I like it when we score more. That said, I will take 3 points all day long.
That was funny Brompton I’m still laughing and it’s almost 12 at night ..DB ‘scared the shit out of me’ made my weekend I’ve filled the blog saying this ..crap yourself time indeed or more factually unpick the good that Nuno has done with Boly and Co…
12 clean sheets says it all ..
Yeah I too thought he was going to let Boly & Co down. I must admit he has had some really good games, but …………. he is not consistently reliable, or should that be reliably consistent.
Take care mate, hope to see you sometime in the New Year.
I have to laugh.
“We’ll see how good they am, when the weather turns cold”. Has been the mantra from generally shit-fans I sadly know.
Well, there’s your answer….we bloody win. Scrappy aybe but frankly, it’s a situation I don’t mind all that much.
Lets face it, some games (when it’s perishing cold) are neither fun to play or watch, but we ain’t the weremacht marching into Russia, the lads get a warm every 45 minutes and we get to skulk off grinning our heads off to the nearest (warm) bar. So let’s keep smiling afterall, Wolves ay we!
Great result, great defending!!

I think you will find we have taken 22 points from 24 in the cold weather. And none of our poor hapless Johnny foreigners are in long sleeve shirts and hats and gloves. It was so cold in Gornal that my shit turned to ice before it hit the water when I was on the bog last wik. We still have outside toilets and tin baths you see. The Championship us a grind and maybe Nuno has set out to be more attritional to cope with the the fucking Cloggers. We will see our attacking play when circumstances permit. Any Road. Blouse bottom of championship and The Shite back in bottom two in premium. What is not to like.

Why can they not acknowledge the truth, Citeh are the Wolves of the Prem!
Grinding out three points, away from home, without letting a hoal in again.
Terrible.
Sack the lot of them.
How dare they set record after record.
I’m sorry, but Nuno has to go.
We are not able to adjust to winning, to smiling and to having nothing to bitch about.

Pragmatic performance all around, 3 points and a clean sheet. I’ll take that any day of the week, obrigado.
Neves goal was a peach, and how many times Costa did waltzed around their puzzled defender before the sending off, hah? Credit to the Owls for trying yet there never was real sense of danger for Ruddy.
Now, let’s see MM finally beaten and that’s Christmas sorted for me.
Playing badly, winning ugly away from home = promotion form. Bit concerned that we have struggled to beat three pretty poor teams in a row though. Perhaps a bit of rotation amongst the creative players is needed now, as their touch was poor and passing radar skewed. Costa to start in place of Cavaleiro (though who takes the corners/free kicks then if Douglas not fit)? If there was an obvious candidate to take the pressure off Bonatini I’d rest him too. Personally, would rather see Hause on the bench than Batth. Looking forward to seeing who will be coming in January though. In general, though, good times and Neves/Boly/Coady superb as usual.
I got distracted by the buffet for much of the 2nd half. I think I’ve made it. I’ve finally joined the prawn sandwich club.
Nah feck that Im going to stand topless on the Southbank next match. Hope it snows.
Did manage to see the brilliant goal from our superstar Neves and the fabulous footwork of costa. We are blessed. Can’t wait for Ipswich I think we are ready for an early Christmas present. Come what may though a happy new year is almost assured with these boys.
Are you male or female? Just asking as your answer will determine whether I look out for you at the next match,
Male but with a nice pair of tits!
Forgot to mention in earlier post that an apology is in order for our midfield puppet master senor Neves.
I was foolish enough to question his most excellsnt passing range compared to his somewhat less effective shooting on goal……I am happy therefore to shaddap and crawl back under me rock.
Talking about records, I wonder how many opposiition players have been sent off consecutively. Wednesday, Sunderland, Birmingham so far. We had one v Leeds but that was not consecutively.
I got the wrong scoreline again which I was pleased about, what matters is another 3 points!
Neves goal was fucking brilliant no one else in championship could do that not that many in prem could do it, that goal was just like a stevie g goal, Neves will one day become world class no doubt about that.CLASS
Paulcook
Bang on mate Neves is definitely like StevieG, also I would stick my neck out and go as far as to say, Jota does remind me of Frank Riberie, even looks like him with his freckly face and really hard tackling. There’s a couple of fantastic names to have our guys associated with.
I note that Danny Graham, George Saville, Jed Wallace and Andres Weinmann all scored yesterday, still wouldn’t trade a single one of them.
Also did anyone else spot Neves and Nuno’s interview after the Sheffield game, both of them went to great lengths to say, “they would now go home and have a well deserved rest this weekend and spend time with families, then back at it Monday”.
51 points, new Away game record, best scoring team in the Chump, 1 goal between us and Cardiff for the best defence, Manager of the Month, player of the Month and we’re still top of the league. Too feckin right you deserve a rest. (Even if it’s from your own whinging fans, you should have heard the FIFA managers on the terraces all around me on Friday evening, “Wankers”
Onwards and Upwards, nearly halfway there, as others have said above, “what a Christmas it would be if we clicked again on Saturday and whalloped the Ipshite”.
COMBambinos.
New striker needed? Daniel Sturridge free to go out on loan in January to help boost his chances of making the England World Cup squad. Theo Walcott the same. A cut above the likes of Grabban, Martin, Hugill and the rest.
OODCL
Why not,Sturridge,we had his uncle and he was a great success.
I reckon he’d come as well seeing how we are playing.
I’ve just got the facts on Daniel Sturridge uncle Dean he signed for us on Christmas Eve 2001 and scored 21 goals in his first full season for us….you never know.
I think Sturridge is a great striker and would be a welcome addition to any team.
If only he wasn’t so fragile….
Another 3 points, another win, another step closer to our dream.
A poor game to watch and frustrating at times but hey, we won so I am happy.
Onwards
The last 3 matches suggest that teams have worked out how to play us – stop the wing-backs getting forward into space. But we’ve still come up with 7 points from 9 because we have a defence like a brick wall and the talent to put away any sniff of a chance that comes our way. No doubt Nuno will be looking for a variation on our playing style and will bring in the necessary personnel in January. Meanwhile, I agree with others who have suggested that rotation is now needed (if it wasn’t some weeks ago). Not that that poses a problem as the squad is more than talented enough to deal with it.
Their problem in forcing our wing-back’s back is that it gives us a 5 man defence which so far has proved damn near impregnable.
With this in mind, Mick is already working on this week’s master plan aka; “put in a shift and kick ’em ard!!”
You’re right – pushing our wing-backs further back only reinforces what was already a very solid 3 man defence. Even when we were using the wing-backs extensively in forward positions the defence still looked solid as it was well protected by Saiss aand Neves.
Exactly, which means the attackers go wide and cross the ball to our six foot + defence.
Good luck with that!
It helps that Boly is built like a brick shithouse and has the talent to snuff out any attack remotely near his postcode. What a player.
It ain’t just the fact he’s a big sod; his composure when on the ball is Monroesque.
Maybe so but his distribution isn’t anywhere near as good just yet. Needs to work on that to become a really excellent player.
Had a really enjoyable hour last night listening to the Stoke fans bleating on 606. For all these years they have made themselves at home in the prem serving up a stinking brand of football that 50 gallons of bleach couldn’t clean up. Don’t think the fans realise that trying to polish that turd into a decent footballing side is only going to achieve one outcome. Hughes, Pardew, Koeman and De Boer all know really that the required change in football personnel and culture takes years and a unique vision, doesn’t it? We live in remarkable times.
I share everyone’s enthusiasm for our current run, of course. There were some magical touches on Friday…how about Cav’s luscious back heel right into Jota’s path on the edge of the box?
But three points about our present play which I, as an ignorant amateur, would make.
1. Not enough running into space to give man in possession options. Think this leads to lack of pace in our build-ups.
2. As mentioned in an earlier post, not enough players in the box when we are attacking. Yeah, we’ve conceded hardly any goals recently, but with our attacking flair, should score more.
3. Passing back or sideways, aka Karlism, seems to become a habit and, more importantly a way of losing possession. How many times on Friday was the ball passed back to Ruddy only for him to hoof it upfield and invariably land in the opposition’s possession? I grew sick of this under KJ and hope Nuno outlaws it as our default mode though once in a while, in emergency or as a surprise tactic (as v Bolton for last goal) it may be useful.
Welcome back to the Mol, MM………we have a nice big round Xmas present for you….NULL POINTS!

Hi Bloggers
Thank you for your good wishes – greatly appreciated. (A special thanks to Malcolm – my next door neighbour at the Molineux who told me over the phone in no uncertain terms to telephone 111).
A wake up call with chest as tight as a bandsman drum skin, heart beating faster than the Flying Scotsman’s outer pistons and copious amounts of cold sweat dripping running off me like Niagara. It was somewhat alarming frankly – I suppose a bit like trying to get back to the railway station at Leeds or Cardiff or Millwall after a game if you get my drift.
The paramedics and hospital staff were amazing but when the paramedic said at home prior to taking me in “we are taking you into hospital immediately. You may have had a heart attack looking at the symptoms and ECG readings but the hospital will be able to accurately assess the situation” I looked at the photographs at my beloved grandchildren adoring our front room and burst into tears! Silly me or what! I also thought about the Nuo Camp in three years time – can’t miss that!
No matter how much football or how many many marathons/half marathons/10 milers etc, or triathlons or swimming I have done over the past 55 years or so there are no guarantees. My family tree has a history of this sort of thing and as much as I like eating food glorious food (as Bedford Wolf will testify) and having a pint or three plus Italian wine, all red meat, butter, fried stuff, cakes, chocolate etc have simply got to be cut right down or given up completely….
(Mind you being a loyal Wolves fan has obviously no good for the system over the years….).
After Lord knows how many tests with wires from every orifice and 8 blood samples, to my immense relief the cardiologist informed me I had not suffered a heart attack and there is no sign of any damage to the heart muscle – it would seem that the issue stemmed from blood trying to enter the chamber not exit. I have been referred to Papworth Heart hospital, Cambridge for further prognosis and diagnosis as something clearly is not quite right.
Anyway enough of that crap – see you on Saturday for another three points. Unfortunately as I was “dozing” in the hospital bed and I had no access to the game on Friday night but it cheered me up no end when news of the brilliant goal by Neves filtered through.
Once again – many thanks for your comments.

Good man yerself BOG!!!
Very pleased to hear the news.
It’s a horrible thing to get ‘The wake up call’. Like a number who regularly contribute to this great blog I can write from experience.
But you’ll be the better for getting it early and being able to take some remedial measures.
From now on I’d stick after the seventh pint if I were you and don’t have the black pud on your full English.
All the best from me and the PMDG’er.
Nothing wrong with Black Pud DG. Mother Natures finest food, or one of them anyway.
Black pud is good. It’s the fried eggs, bacon, sausage, fried bread, toast and hash browns that cause the problem.
Making me feel hungry, that is Brompto’.
Glad to hear. I hope your wait for further evaluation is not too long. You never know what is needed.
I have had heart issues for over 10 years and two procedures to correct it (both didn’t solve the problem).
Good thing they were able to determine what happened and hopefully the solution will not be too invasive.

Anyway for now ..take your foot off the pedal and get yourself sorted…

Hadn’t heard this news BOG, but really pleased to hear you’re on the mend. Only thing is, don’t let the detractors put you off Black Pud. It’s actually very nutritious and, of course, delicious. Now sausages, that’s a different story.

Great news BOG, losing the fatty foods and downing less ale is never going to kill you, ignoring it all gets you a swift kick in the nether regions from Mamma nature. It may be that you may end up getting the old pacemaker, if that happens they will have to hold a pillow over your head before that things stops.
Seriously though, prevention is defo better than cure, so your’e another one who got an early warning and we bloggers are all relieved, as you say three years from now you will be eating Virgin olive oil on some piazzio wating for Wolves to kick off against the likes of Juventus or Real Madridio, so lets get this show on the road.
Wolves am we.
Comedy has always been a big part f my life.
I grew up watching and listening to some of the greats. Tony Hancock, Morecambe & Wise, Tommy Cooper, Round The Horne, Monty Python, Rik Mayall – the list goes on.
Now there is a new comedy great on the scene.
Step forward Paul Lambert, late of this parish.
Have a read of the interview with him in the E&S I think it was where he proclaims that if he hadn’t been sacked and been given the money to spend like Nuno has then he’d have had us at the top of the table too. It’s a hoot!
Of course dear old Paul was a great manager and immediately following his demise at Wolves other clubs were queueing up………………….oh hang on. What is it now Paul? 6 months and STILL out of a job?
OODCL
I hear that Royston Vasey Albion will be looking for a new manager after their forthcoming relegation from the ‘Local’ League.
Perhaps Mr L can pop along to their recruitment centre.
Spot on comments Ben. I was chatting with a couple of home fans while enjoying a greasy cheese burger from one of the food vans (no chips though) before the game, and they reckoned they were going to lose 5-0, as they just hadn`t been at it this season. I politely said it wasn`t the weather for a high scoring game, and I`d take a 1-0 win. We shook hands and said good luck for the game.
Given that the Owls owner has probably spent more money in the last three years than Wolves have this season, I was expecting the home side to have really a go and they did early second half. However the Wolves machine is relentless, and despite being forced back to defend, this created a bit more space for our pacey attackers to play in, and we were probably unfortunate not to score a second late on.
Wolves if nothing else are a mean, mean machine, and yes some of our front players look knackered at the same time. We have a busy fixture schedule ahead, with possibly new players to come in early Jan, these will help of course. I`d take ugly 1-0 away wins every time.
Let’s see if Leicester can stop em

Catch em young I say, what a brilliant little lad. future blogger.
Well done Bristol, lets hope there tired out when the mighty Wolves come to town.
Terrific result and performance. We’ll have quite a job on our hands in a couple of weeks time.
Nah, it was Manchester United they beat, not Manchester City.
I’ve always admired your irrepressible optimism, Clive.
Anyone want to use my season ticket on Saturday v Ipswich? I understand it is a sell out. We are away so I can’t go. Let me know ASAP please. I will organise getting you the ticket through BOG who will be at the game.
Yes please!
If you overnight it today, together with return airline ticket, I should make it in time.
Also, as you are away, can I crash at your place?
Thanks, Bedders, you are a real pal.
See…..there you go again. 🙂
There’s always one isn’t there!
I’m just finished my Christmas shopping at last. I got Mrs BW an artificial leg. It’s not her main present. It’s just a stocking filler.
It was right at this point that the Wolves ticket office manager decided to open a third counter…….
Ok then, It was right at this point that the Wolves ticket office manager decided to open a third counter…….
Stu,
Rather than wait until the window opens for me to find that it is a sell out, are you able to get me a ticket for the Barnsley game on the 13th Jan. I have authority from Mike to use his number ….. well he did say I could a while back.
Normal rules apply, that is I will see you at the game and clear the debt.
Steve
This could turn into a Bloggers Away Day at this rate. Myself and, hopefully, BOG plus the Newark Wolves, StuWolf and I think Witley & Son and London Wolves Loyal are also on the hunt for tickets. Ecky-thump lad, it could be a reet cracker.
Brompton
I’m getting 11 now, so1 more won’t matter.
Twixfix’s ticket is already being used but I can get another.
I reckon the Tractor Boys will line up in a similar formation on Saturday. Micks masterplan.plus a great deal of clogging.
MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL WOLVES SUPPORTERS WHEREVER YOU ARE.
I think she was sat next to me in the Billy quiet the other week. Wearing a similar shirt anyway.
Wolfstroker …
Dream onmate …that would be like having all your birthdays come at once ..
Nah, she’s clearly a North Bank (lower) kinda gal. You can see it in her eyes.
Shit, I never noticed she had eyes….
I set ‘em up, you knock ‘em down!
She’s a bit overdressed for me this time…
Shirt? I was thinking skirt.
That’s a strapping lass, Mildenhall. I won’t give her a yellow card if she pulls her shirt off when she scores.
Nice to see Redrow embroiled in a freehold/leasehold scandal.
Check it out, smacks of morganism all over, with greasel’s sticky paws lurking behind somewhere.
I actually did a post about this about 18 months ago as I cane across it in my work and couldn’t believe how Redrow got away with it. Additionally Redrow leasehold homes have conditions atttached whereby whenever you want to remortgage/change your lender – usually every 2 or 3 years – they have to agree AND they charge you £400 each time. Total scam and rip off.
When the stones get turned over … is one really surprised.
Been reading also the Dave Edwards article when he got close to signing for Bristol City because of the dilly dallying of that Snake oil salesman .. and Moxey trying his hardest to hang him out to dry …. bodgit and scarper …
Well done to Bristol City on their magnificent win against Man .U. We have both played brilliantly against top teams and shown we would not be out of place in the Premier League. I hope we both get promoted at the end of this season. COYW
I can go with that. I mean, Warnock is doing a great job hanging on in our slipstream but could Cardiff hold their own with their brand of football against premier clubs?
I doubt it…
Bristol showed they could handle United and we’ve shown that we can do the same with our reserves! So that’s the natural law of things I reckon. Sheffield have fallen away, so it’s a maybe between villa and derby, but brizzle are more fluent and dangerous imo.
UTW
Brizzle were by far the best team I’ve seen at the Mol this season. Apart from us, of course.
Last Christmas
I gave you my heart
But the very next day
You gave it away
This year
To save me from tears
I’ll give to Helder Costa
Costa
Have a great Christmas Bedders. C O Y W.
Just got up on nights feel like shite but what can you do. Well Merlin is back in town and he seems to have mellowed well a tad at least.
I know there is a lot on here who think Mick should not have been sacked well your right well half right IMO my only problem with him being sacked was Morgan should have done it earlier like at the end of the secound season.
But as we now know in Micks defence and these things always come out in the end Morgan didn’t back him when he wanted to strengthen so he was never going to get a manager in with ambition hence Terry ” Clipboard ” Connors tempory stint in the hot seat.
Mick was and is a manager from years gone by the world of football has moved on light years and well Mick is good at what he does but his limitations mean he will never be able to keep a team in the Premier League.
And this is why he will park the bus he will tell his team to kick lumps out of Jota and that sums up his abilities.
