Not winning this game has probably done little to lift the mood, but the significance of not losing it shouldn’t be underestimated.

Had Wolves failed to breakdown a side inside the bottom three who played two thirds of the game with a significant disadvantage, the fallout would have been infinitely worse.
But thanks to Kevin McDonald’s injury time rescue act, some of the sting has at least been drawn from the disappointment.
The Scot’s wonderful goal is a timely reminder of his importance to a team that must now be rebuilt around his considerable talents.
Indeed all around McDonald are problems that need solving sooner rather than later.
Defensive shortcomings have been widely documented and even Danny Batth’s eagerly awaited return couldn’t stop Wolves conceding the first goal – again.
And chasing the game – even against handicapped opposition – made life harder for what increasingly appears a toothless attack.
Our only two senior strikers have impressive scoring records but neither are yet to fire and there’s little sign of a blossoming partnership.
Afobe hasn’t notched from open play in a month and seems to be struggling to make headway without the support of Mali’s finest.
He might point to a lack of service, which is fair when you consider none of the wide players – save perhaps James Henry – have delivered on an even semi-consistent basis.
Can Ojo, van La Parra or Byrne be relied upon to continually serve up chances for our forwards? I’m not convinced.
Only Bolton, Preston and MK Dons have scored less goals than Wolves thus far, neatly underlining the need for reinforcements.
Kenny Jackett pointed to a lack of aggression in attacking the countless balls hoisted into the penalty area.
That scenario was precisely why the manager tried to bring in Chris Wood and was reportedly interested in a loan move for Bournemouth’s Yann Kermorgant.
Neither arrived and such was his frustration yesterday, Danny Batth was urged forward to contest the aerial duels.
The reality is that Wolves must adapt their approach from what we’ve seen in recent years.
Sako and Dicko are seemingly irreplaceable so an alternative solution is required.
And muscle in the final third to make the ball stick and bring Benik Afobe into the game should be the first point of business.
Resigning Kevin McDonald was a positive step but there are many rungs on the ladder to climb before anyone can feel positive about our short term aspirations.
This was after all supposed to be a season of evolution and progression, but with each passing disappointment it feels like we’re simply starting all over again.

This season is a wasted opportunity. We were in my opinion 3 players short of having a top 2 side. Yet the powers that be bottled it and decided to bargain basement shop. So far I’ve seen little to suggest these bargain buys are worth the money we have spent on them. It’s very disappointing we can’t beat a team as lowly as Preston. Unless things change from the top with a real ambition to play premier league football we have championship football to look forward to for a very long time.
I’m not suggesting we go and spend huge amounts on a single player but some genuine quality players would be nice. If Bournemouth Watford Stoke and Leicester can do it there really is no reason we shouldn’t be able to do the same.
Nolan and Cole are free agents, Cole would tear the championship apart, Nolan for me would be a Mike Bailey type player!
Thoughts!
I tend to disagree gold wolf … I would rather us buy one 5 million pound player on the left than 5 one million pound players all over the midfield .
Failure to replace sako is a disaster .
u t w
Byrne registered one assist and had several good crosses which resulted in goal attempts. If he had started the game we could have won it. Why didn’t he start the game, I mean with the recent results. NEVER change a losing team!! ehh
We dearly miss some fire power. This Byrne fellow can also play as a striker, so can Bancessi. We have alternatives, the question is if they are better than Wallace, Van La Parra or Le Fondre. Otherwise Jackett has no other choice than go out on the loan market and get a big gun in.
We don’t disagree at all, the figures I’m on about are the same as yours. I’m talking about not
Buying players for 250k or even a million I’m talking players 3 to 5 mill. Money spent on the likes of saville are just a waste in my opinion. Had we brought 3 players of a decent quality I think we would be pushing hard. I don’t think it’s a good idea to put all your money in one basket like Fulham did with McCormack is what I was trying to say.
Yeh .. I get you , agreed
Several clubs in premiership are scouting for relatively cheap players, high quality players.
They are out there if you know where to search. Saville was a promising player, and some would claim he still is, but when it comes to skillsets I think he’s too average (too much Doyle). Luckily he isn’t a striker and has enough skills to succeed in championship. I have difficulties believing he’s one day going to play first team football in premiership, but I will reserve myself from saying never.
Boy are we in trouble!
I bet Bob is having a good old laugh at Brompton’s expense now.
What with that and England chucking the game away against Wales, my cup which is normally rather more than half full, has sprung a leak.
Thank goodness that McDonald has signed a new contract.
He seems to have his mind back on the job in hand – keeping us out of the relegation places.
We all know how difficult it can be trying to score against opposition reduced to ten men, after all we did the same thing to league leaders Brighton only a short time ago. Problem is we have no height or physical presence up front, we are geared for pass and move, not getting on the end of crosses supplied by our pacey but ineffective wingers,
I`m ok with the point given it was looking like another defeat was on the way, maybe we can build on this, and go and get the other six points we so desperately need this week. Not confident we can but we can hope.
Wolves have started the season out of sorts despite KJ stating he had a very good squad and prior to Dickos injury, saw no need for further players. All the bleating about spending money is the usual Wolves supporter panic. KJ was given a mandate by the board to do a job, that would bring success and this was supported by Wolves fans. Has anyone thought that the manager may have reached his level with cash or without it, as he did at Swansea and Millwall ? Lets hope not and that the Wanderers hit form, otherwise calls for KJ to go will increase from the terrace experts and force the board to sack him, as they did with Mick. Supporters do not own the club and should not be deluded and remember that. How many of the headless chickens have owned a multi million pound sports business ? Have managed a professional football team at Championship level ? Or have ever played football at this level indeed ever played above Sunday Morning League or played in a team ? If you are true supporters you should stick with the lads and the club. If not go elsewhere, as you will not be missed and neither will your board attacks, conspiracy theories and divisiveness at Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Garry, let’s say straight away you have absolutely every right to voice your opinion. I resent the fact, however, as I’m sure many bloggers on here will , that a view contrary to yours is deemed to be from disloyal supporters. Many of what you refer to as headless chickens travel the length and breadth of the country watching wolves home and away including me. I certainly won’t be calling for jackett’s head any time soon. No, my anger is trained firmly at moxey and Morgan as I suspect is the majority of wolves fans anger Please explain to me what value our great club has derived from moxey’s tenure of nearly 16 years at a total cost in salary of bonuses of pushing £10 million in that time? It is no coincidence to see the progress that Stoke have made since his departure all that time ago. When he joined we had just finished 7th in the championship and where are we now exactly? As for Morgan, how ironic you should use the phrase headless chicken as a label for passionate wolves fans and not the man himself! Here’s a man who was a supposed ardent lifelong red for many, many years but who, when he can’t get the deal done to buy LFC , quickly becomes a “son of Wolverhampton ” . Yeah, right! He’s a businessman, a good one in the construction world arguably, but certainly not in the football world, and has been found out. Now when proper investment is needed to take the club forward he has been found out. He has made an absolute balls of his time at wolves, handed a golden ticket for £10 , he has screwed up at every turn with under investment, a succession of shocking managerial appointments , along with moxey , culminating in two calamitous relegations and a bizarre building of a new ground plan that has never looked like being realised or indeed required at any point in his tenure. Some people, like yourself it would seem, will always wave the fear card of divisiveness and the horror stories of Portsmouth, Leeds etc but you know what, after God knows how long of moxey and several years of Morgan, I say let’s take our chances. I’ve lived through the Bhattis and the really dark days and the much better times of the 70s , the rebirth under sir Jack etc and there are two things that your post brought home to me. Sir Jack said he only ever did what any true fan would have done and he was right. Hold a mirror up to what Morgan has done and could you honestly say you feel he has done that for our club? The other thing that struck me was your point that “supporters do not own the club”. Of course, technically you are correct, but therein lies the mindset that betrays you as an apologist for Morgan and moxey. It is that mindset that governs their thinking and that truly causes divisiveness , undermines ambition and ultimately frustrates this great club from realising its potential . Loyal passionate fans are the lifeblood of every football club, whether you agree with them or not, they are never headless chickens.
A very good and well argued response Suton Coldfield Wolf. The only thing I would add is that every time serious investment is discussed we are told all the money is going into the academy. That is even the reason for us not progressing the stadium rebuild, if, as you say, it ever really warranted. Clubs like Leicester, Watford, Bournemouth and dare I say Albion are way ahead of us and the relegated clubs will get in excess of £100m this year. I have become tired of the excuses from Morgan and Moxey, the constant bleating about financial prudence. Morgan has no interest in Wolves for the long term and would walk away tomorrow if Liverpool was available. Let’s hope it iss soon and that he takes Moxey with him.
An absolutely brilliant response to a post from someone who speaks for himself, is a relatively rare poster, probably never goes, hasn’t any ambition for the clubs progress or potential and chooses to insult the majority of REAL supporters that travel the length and breadth of Britain to watch their beloved team .
Wow .. Well said !!!
Spot on Sutton. I don’t go very often myself unfortunately but I would never class those who do as headless chickens.
The only thing headless I would like to see is Morgan on his way out of the club with Moxey.
These two aren’t Wolves … they’re just Morgan and Moxey… Sir Jack IMO would be ashamed to be associated with them in the current scheme of things …..
This deserves more than a simple click on the ‘like’ button. Completely agree with every word! Anyone who believes that f4t fVck3r Moxey and the scouse git Morgan have the best interests of Wolves at heart are seriously DELUDED! In fact if you believe that then give me some of what you are smoking or injecting! Those two dumb f**** are only interested in lining their pockets. Morgan’s is very much interested in Wolverhampton, not I’m afraid Wolverhampton Wanderers! Wolves is simply a free ticket for Redrow to build, build, build crappy shitty houses in Wolverhampton! They will both be found out in the fullness of time. My worry is how much they’ve bled from our great club by the time they f*** off!
I don’t disagree with you except your mindset on MOXEY? what is it with some Wolves fans, I think it stems back to the cup match v the unmentionables were their fans had the whole of the South Bank, this of course was not moxeys fault, it was the fault of the fa and police.
Has for Stoke their directors rate him highly, it’s only their fans just like “some” of ours that hate him so much.
It’s funny that Morgan has retained his services just like SJH did!!!!
If, if JM was to go tomorrow a new CEO would come in and do exactly the same job as him and most likely get more money, failure to do so would be a failure of doing their job correctly, like him or not he does what it says on the tin and if I had a business I would certainly employ him has my CEO, in fact I wish my company had got him back in 2000 we might not have gone bust.
This lack of investment lark is nothing new, it goes back to the 50 were we were without doubt one of the top three teams in England along with Man U and Arsenal, we hardly spent much on players relying on our feeder clubs/academies of the day like wath wanderers etc, we had a youth system that i believe was on a par with the busby babes, we had large crowds, I remember on more than one occasion when the fans were up the floodlights, even sitting on the edge of the old South Bank, you could see their legs dangling.
So were did all the money go from those days, it certainly didn’t go on rebuilding the ground, it didn’t go on spending on players, so were did it go!
I believe we have a good squad, the problem is the constant Tinkering with the team, I like KJ and certainly feel he can take us were we all want to be, but he needs to keep a settled team, put round pegs in round holes and square pegs in square holes.
We will always have fans who “think” they now better were in truth they don’t, if we were to pick the team I wonder how many would have the same selections.
Same goes with Morgan, all this nasty comments about him being from Liverpool and only being bothered about making a profit for his business, what do people think he should expect a bloody loss!
We were spoilt by Sir Jack putting in all that money, actions that caused a rift towards him and his family, I hope they were healed before is death!
Talk to fans in the lower leagues and tell them, we have an owner who has built a new stand with a museum etc, etc, (OK we didn’t need it!?) Spent £7million on upgrading the Academy, spent £30million + on the team, has just spent x amount on a project in Wolverhampton for the youth of the city (something he got ridiculed for by some of our so called supporters) also we have a CEO who is careful with the finances of the club and won’t spend un-nessessary, and then tell them some of our fans want them out!
They will laugh at you and most likely phone for the people in white jackets!
John Davis, I cannot even begin to take you seriously.
While lauding M&M you conveniently forget to mention that under them we have gone from the Prem to the third division and are now struggling in the second. We had the opportunity to establish ourselves in the Prem and blew it. We blew an opportunity to gain promotion last year. On each occasion it was through a lack of investment. That is down to M&M and no one else.
You talk about Moxey making money for the club but at what cost – the REAL money would be made by getting promotion to the premier and his penny pinching last season was a major factor in us not achieving that aim. You claim to be a (failed), business man but you can’t seem to grasp that.
You ask where money from the 50s went – (60 years ago and does the Bhattis ring a bell?), and at the same time you ignore where the money from recent years has gone.
If footballing success is so difficult how have Stoke managed it since Moxey left? How have Swansea managed it, or Leicester or Southampton etc etc etc.
How on earth do you know what the Stoke directors secretly felt about Moxey? Do you really think that sort of claim impresses other bloggers on here?
You are giving the supporters advice on how to run a company but you tell us that YOUR company went bust. Do you really think you are best qualified to do that? I can remember another post of yours on this site and the hourly rate you claimed you earned back in the day. If you really did have your own company and if you really did pay yourself the hourly rate you claimed in that post then no wonder you went bust.
Please, just leave it there and avoid further embarrassment.
Hiya Steppenwolf … Great reply to John Davies “head in the sand” rant.
For his info the team of the 50’s and indeed early 60’s didn’t have the financial benefit of TV money … Which in today’s world is why getting to the Prem is paramount for to you and me …..Plainly Obvious..
It’s also true to say that Man U were on a par with Wolverhampton Wanderers
in those heady days.
‘So were did all the money go from those days…’
I have read suggestions that not only did Wolves under-declare their gate receipts in those days (easy to do when most fans paid cash on the turnstiles) to lower the tax-burden but certain directors siphoned off the excess into their own pockets. Ironic that Man Utd appear to be following a similar model these days in respect of payments to the Glazers.
Nolan and Cole are free agents, Cole would tear the championship apart, Nolan for me would be a Mike Bailey type player!
Thoughts!
My sentiments exactly GG.
If we can’t beat 10 then 9 men how are we gonna beat or draw with Fulham?
It’s not improving anytime soon, & reports of disagreement between Jackett & Morgan ,whether true or
not, over transfer policy add to the gloom.
The loss of players some self inflicted & others down to bad luck has shown the paucity of this squad. All teams reflect, primarily, the vision & desire of the person putting the money in.
I just don’t feel KJ has been given the tools for the goal of getting into the top flight.
I didn’t go or listen to the game but seeing we were 1-0 down at H-T you can only conclude that as it stands currently I’m looking at survival in the Championship, & not as I sanguinely thought at the start of the season Promotion. On current Wolves form that would be taking ‘happy clapper iris to an unrealistic level!
I think the post above mine is insulting to genuine Wolves fans who have a right to bleat, moan & protest when we see the standard of play that is served up & we sell an experienced defender for no good reason.
Everybody’s got their opinion but for Gods sake although I only own my season ticket I can moan about the lack of ambition & good management currently on display at this club.
Yes, I feel the same way. We are all stakeholders in the club and as such are entitled to our two pennies worth. Any true supporter is totally pissed off because they genuinely care about the club. If we didn’t get fed up with the predicament we find ourselves in then we wouldn’t give a toss about the club – just like the owner. The only way to change things is to make your voice heard.
Gary .. I feel both the anger and loyalty within your post .. I doubt any one that posts on here has anything but support for kenny but how can you say he s reached his limit when we ve been better for the last two seasons when we had better players
People have the right to moan when the board decides not to replace good players .
I love the wolves and always will . My season ticket money arrives in their post box every year without fail but they are not honouring the supporters . We pay to see our favourite club be as successful as it can be and periodically this requires investment .
That has not been forthcoming when we were so close to promotion .
None of us want another 17 years in the championship !!! .
London wolf, I’m glad you said the board, that, I believe is were the problem lies, MOXEY is their spokesman, he can go to them with xyz players but if they say – we can’t afford them what can he do, even Morgan, although he owns the club has to go along with the boards decision otherwise why bother having a board!
I think most posts on this site are well thought out and as balanced as they can be with such an emotive subject. But just like Steepenwolfe states you have to wonder whether those at the top hurt as much as we all do when we lose.
We lost Sako, Dicko and Stearman for three very different reasons but the biggest loss of all is momentum and no obvious tools in the box to see us getting it back in a long, long time.
All KJ’s two seasons of hard work down the toilet for whatever reason.
Some excellent points aired by all. My main concern is who is to blame for the fact that we never seem to play to our full capability for most of the game. We either start like a house on fire then fizzle out or have an extremely slow start then then (I assume after a rocket from KJ) the team fires up. Surely they should all know what to do.
Which brings me to the next question – is our team good enough to stay in the championship? I know there are some injuries at the moment – but that happens to all teams.
I wonder if all fans go through all the same heartache that we do – or are our expectations too high?
Maybe we need a Mike Bailey type captain!
I don’t think many would argue with the underlying sentiment in Gary’s post but….as a paying customer I have every right to voice my opinion especially when I feel let down by the owner.
As for yesterday, we needed 3 points as I can’t see us getting anything at Fulham on Tuesday.
Squark, squark, fuckin’ squark.
No, I have never owned a multi million dollar business, nor a football club, but by the same token, blob and greasel have never been fanatical followers of a football team.
It may be a business to them, and they have every right to run it as they want, under normal circumstances, but football isn’t normal.
The average fan is hard working, doesn’t have a lot of disposable income, and chooses to spend his hard earn money as he sees fit.
If it is watching Wolves, then being as football is supposedly in the entertainment spectrum, he expects to be entertained, and one big part of that is watching his/her team win.
When this doesn’t happen, said fan is quite within his rights, as a paying customer, to vent his frustration and anger at those who fail in their duty to provide such.
And to have the owners/manager/head coach to lie, spin and generally try to deceive their customers, just adds to the anger and disillusionment.
So, just as you have the right to your opinions about conspiracies etc, we have the right to speculate about the true motives of our “beloved” owner.
What you don’t have the right to do, however, is insult most of the bloggers on this forum, so please refrain, or feel the wrath of this deluded headless chicken!!
And a happy FOwb to you
STOP SWEARING DELUDED HEADLESS CHICKEN FROM HOUSTON. YOU MAY BE DELUDED AND HEADLESS AND A CHICKEN BUT THERE ARE CHILDREN WHO GO ON THIS WEBSITE!!!!!
Hello Southern Fried Chicken … Could you kindly elaborate on all of the swearing you refer to in the above comment .. Thanks
Southern wolf, you want to stand by some of those kids, swearing! They would make Houston look like a saint!
Sutton Coldfield conspiracy theorist along with the rest of your FIFA Managers poor terrace brained supporters..Please please please stop being deluded none of you own the club. What right have you to call for investmwent from the most successful board at Wolves in 35 years. Do you think Stevie Morgan a champion of industry is unaware that next year his asset will add millions to his personal fortune. Are you unaware that there are 23 other clubs wanting to beat Wolves to the Premiership. All you people can do is moan whinge whine and gossip. Wolves fans the best supporters in the world My Arse. The manager the most important man at any club not the players, the board and certainly not the fans, put the teams out yesterday at Preston not the board. Yet you howl like Albion fans with Peace, Villa fans with Lerner, Everton fans with Kenwright,Newcastle fans with Ashley and Man U fans with the Glasiers.Just mentally short human beings call themselves football fans the same at every club. Like a bunch of demented old fowl bwark bwark bwaaaaaaark. Its a sport ca;lled football and everyone wants to win but thats not always possible as I repeat stop being deluded children and be behind the club. You will be original and be hiring a plane to fly over Molineux next and to mention that old chestnut Moxey and Stoke is the gossipy old woman in you. KJ will succeed or fail and we have to wait and see but sooner or later you demanding beasts will be calling for his head and getting the board to act for you. I,m a Wolves fan who believes in the club and that success has to be won and at the moment we are not winning. For all of you hypocrites who give your money to Steve and Jez to put in their back pockets just stop giving and going. NOBODY TWISTS YOUR SAD ARMS AND YOU WILL CERTAINLY NOT BE MISSED. Wolves were here before you moaning minnies existed and will still be here when you have all gone and left the club in peace. Now get the message and clear off the lot of ya, Albion need folk like you treacherous rodents..
I presume you have been let out tonight or you are a family member to one of our main shareholders..
I’ve vented on KJ..but if you think that a captain of Industry such as Steve Morgan can play with Wolves as a game to get the most return on net operating assets then there are people on here that will say no..
Deluded is a challenge on this blog and this is a true cross section of supporters here who want the club back where it belongs.
Please note this ..Treachery is at its finest if Steve Morgan does not use his £10 ticket in the name of Sir Jack Haywood..
Actually … You are a bell end
Brilliant mate, absofuckinlutely brilliant. Nothing more needs to be said.
You are not making any sense at all. In fact, you seem to be off your rocker. Take some pills and go to sleep. In the morning, if symptoms persist go see a quack. If that don’t make things any better then euthanasia is big in Switzerland. FOWB, Moxey & Morgan!!!!
‘I,m a Wolves fan who believes in the club and that success has to be won and at the moment we are not winning’
Yeah, and you’re not offering any solutions either, hence you define the term ‘happy clapper’.
I was relieved with the draw..relieved that we didnt embarrass ourselves any more and hides some of KJs embarrassment too…
K Mac saved us..I’m so pleased he’s back with us and DB has changed the absolute embarrassment at the back with EEL..
So ..there is an almighty climb due and conclusively I still think we are 3 players short + Dicko..
One big hill to climb…
If we had a Brian Clough type manager who could get the most out of the squad …but we haven’t ..KJs almost at his level now.period.
We need 2 wingers a striker and another defender (perhaps) our midfield lacks support for K Mac..
Wallace Saville surplus now ALF not good enough..keeps missing chances..
The Sako scenario could haunt us for 5 seasons at least he was that important ..
We could still scrape into the playoffs but would we come through? WithKJ I doubt it…
Fulham looked tasty on the box last night ..I’m going to see us get 3 points so here’s to hoping yet again..
But you never know…..
correction I do really…
COYW
I know you try your best to hide it but, reading between the lines, I get a sneaking feeling that you don’t rate Kenny Jackett.
Or you think he has found his level.
And again, although it’s just a hunch, you feel that Big Sam might be the answer to our prayers.
But I go back to a point I’ve made before – given the same lack of support from the owner and CEO do you think he could do any better?
And do you think he would come bearing in mind the way the club is run?
And finally, who else would be in the frame if KJ was given his marching orders?
Some untried manager who would have to start from scratch and might not have any more success than Kenny. The gruesome twosome aren’t going to shell out for a tried and tested man.
And the whole vicious circle starts all over again.
There’s no point getting rid of a manager/head coach without being able to replace him with someone better.
If you have any other names you could put forward I’d be interested to hear them.
I’ll rise to the occasion as my wife says sometimes..Mr DG.. a challenge from the left side of the blog eh lol..insinuations of my right sided extremism re KJ…
I understand the Q overall .. it’s all very well popping at the manager etc..and I would agree we could only replace him with someone better blah blah..
You miss the point Mark..really..It is unexceptable to kerb our ambitions to the PL particularly if the manager starts to loose the plot ..strange team selections ..no tactical response to the opposition..continuing to play players that give games away (EEL)non support of key players (KMac)strange goalie switching ..non protection of Afobe (ie ensuring that he MUST be fed tactically)to stop bids coming in..the ability to keep an active (driven) squad that will always compete ..continuous mistakes that do not get put right (ie giving away goals first 20mins) etc etc even Thomas and Ben is on the same wave length as is a lot more on here..
We must go forward as a club and compete at the same level as the Norwich’s of this World and dare I say West Brom who incidently have a great manager..
Who then ? Big Sam (would be)
one at the top of the list and I fail to agree that the CEO of Redrow -Morgan hasn’t the skill or inclination to negotiate a deal if it was in the interest to build his asset at this club…IMO he will sell and profit from Wolves 1990 Ltd one day..
But specifically it would come at the end of this season when other managers would be assessed too..
The answer would be to create a list or approach some perhaps or wait for an approach too..
My experience with Norwich and Delias reign ..they always go for fresh managers outside the norm but who have ambition ..and rely on the Sky money..
I could list potentials but it would be an easier Q to answer when end of season careers are on the line..
Politition’s answer I know but the Q should be ‘what type of manager’ not who yet..
I feel quite sad for KJ he truely looks bewildered on TV and states what we did wrong but doesn’t have the training to put it right..
DB could be his salvation ..he has to protect his core players and we now have three DB KMac and Afobe..
If only he could of insisted in paying more for Sako..
He’s taken on the youth policy but can’t bring them on to compete (Byrne)..
I’ve never been a fan of KJ but Doog is absolutely correct in saying that there is no point getting rid of him unless there is someone better to replace him. There is absolutely no point in change for the sake of it. We swapped Mick for TC who took us down but we didn’t learn any lessons. We followed that up by making exactly the same mistake in replacing Solbakken with Saunders who also took us down and now you appear to be suggesting we risk doing the same again. Do you really trust M&M to get it right in appointing a manager, because I don’t? If you want to change something it needs to be the owner and Moxey. I doubt anyone is going to be a success working under those two muppets. In fact I doubt if any manager worth his salt is likely to want to come to Wolves while those two are still in charge. If there is an undeniably better manager than KJ out there who is prepared to come to Wolves and if I could be sure that M&M would back him financially then I would support his appointment. While I stress I am NOT a fan of KJ I feel that at this moment in time sacking Jackett would be like jumping out of the frying pan and into the fire.
Steppen..I was suggesting a manager with experience particularly getting from the championship to PL..
someone who can see the obvious and make it right not do the same..
Mick McCarthy for instance?
Beat me to it.
Come on the Stevie – who are these managers?
If they were out there then half the clubs in the championship would be chasing them.
We’ve lost two of our most consistent goalscorers. Too much responsibility is laid on Afobe’s shoulders and there are too few players around Afobe with a nose for goals. Maybe Byrne can contribute with goals and crosses. Wallace needs more time. Van La Parra is a winger but no goalscorer. We need a big gun to support Afobe. Unfortunately Ameobi wasn’t good enough to earn a contract. I hope we can bring in a player similar to Kenwyne Jones.
I am a proud man today.
Proud that I correctly forecast a 1-1 draw
But even more proud that my beloved Wales beat England in the funny shaped ball match.
I see people saying – We should be beating the likes of Preston, Brighton, etc
Answer – No, we should not because we are not good enough, we are where we are because we are poor.
I see people saying – we are a big team
Answer – No, we are not. Stop living in the past, it has no bearing on our present team or position
We will struggle this season, just get used to it.
There’s always a window in january man. Stearman is more than replaced by Hause. Dicko and Sako are not replaced yet. Byrne was brought in before the window closed. His best side is probably the right side (he can also play on the left side). We need to strengthen with 2 key players; one left winger and one striker. It’s not impossible to accomplish.
Don’t think changing KJ will help & Allardyce would surely not come to Wolves.
Think we’ll have to show patience with KJ. I still rate him despite some misgivings this season.
Another major management balls up this season was not settling Kevin McDonald’s contract before the season began.
You can’t believe that the CEO & Owner would think the fans would swallow such thoughtless decisions.
Up the Wolves & here’s hoping we stay in this league & the comedy clown suits topped off with Morgan & Moxey face masks don’t have to come out again.
I am amazed that any of us are celebrating Saturday`s draw What we again had to witness was a hugely substandard performance by a side humiliatingly short of any real quality, very poorly coached and playing against a very average bottom three team who were depleted in numbers for 80 per cent of the game . Let`s get real, the performance was in fact a disgrace.
Why should we be surprised ? The players recruited supposedly to make up for the loss of the little quality that we previously had, have all been bargain basement buys, who are no better than those already at the club. My worry is that unless the owner very rapidly sanctions the arrival of quality in key positions, we will be facing a very real relegation threat.
A few years ago Southampton, under Nigel Adkins, climbed two divisions in successive years. Then, the Board having realized that their coach had reached the limit of his ability, in order to preserve gains accomplished, ruthlessly acted immediately and decisively by appointing a new proven coach. They made available the finances necessary to enable him to do his job. They did not abandon the club`s successful youth policy. Rather they found the right balance between experience and youthful talent. This represents brave, proactive management of the club, which has secured ongoing success. Is this not the blue print which we urgently need to follow now ?
Totally agree Mike, this is what I’ve been saying for years.
We need to invest big money in a big manager(Big Sam just to name one)Not saying he’ll come anyway.
I like KJ but he won’t take us to the prem..even though its not all his fault.you can’t do it on a shoe string and that’s all he’s gonna get from those pair of tight wads.
Like other posts have said we have a glutt of players all of a similar skill with that we will only be a mediocre team on the fringe of the playoffs, IMO.
Yesterday’s result was a joke and a laughing stock, anyone looking at that result and looking at the stats would have to ask the question ,what’s gone wrong or what’s going on at a club who last season were contesting for a top three place ,and if we didn’t have had that blip in november last year would have been contenders.
So what’s gone wrong ,Sako gone to a better club,Dicko, injured for the rest of the season Total lack of investment in good experienced players,if you buy cheap you get second rate players.
And that’s why we’ll end up in mid table obscurity or worse relegated again.Hope
to god we don’t.
What I can’t really understand is Morgan has invested and took risks all his life,so why doesn’t he take a risk on Wolves especially what the dividends are for just being in there.
If he was the chairman of Liverpool fc he’d be hung from the kop end if he treated the fans the way he’s treated us.
If he doesn’t want to invest in the club sell it for the £10 he found outside the bookies.
After that I hope we can get 3 points come Tuesday evening. UTW.
I see Paul Cook has taken Pompey to the top league 2. Always liked Cooky. Spotted him round Wolvo on a few occasions. Enjoying a lager with his scouse mates.Always willing to have a chat. Probably a bit too fond of the lash but there you go. Brilliant left foot. Could do with him now. KJ probably got a couple of months. Xmas bottom 3 may be the end.
I agree with Thomas that a point is better than a loss. The hope is that now that DB is back and K-Mac has a contract,
the disquiet in the team will ease. IMO, we need a striker a.s.a.p. Afobe on his own can’t do it. Whether ALF can be better remains to be seen. But, unless we find cover for Dicko, we are going to struggle.
Regarding Kenny, I think that he, like me, is none too sure how to get out of a spot of bother. I believe that he could find the personnel, but the wage constainsts are the problem. I am not sure that Sako would have stayed, more’s the pity. Everybody knew that he would leave sometime, what did the borad do, sit on their hands.
My fear is that KJ will walk well before he might be sacked, if we don’t either a) find a loan striker or b) the players we have now, or some of the academy kids on the cusp of the 1st team start playing better and winning.
As many of my fellow bloggers have said, Dicko and Sako are good players and great characters, who are missed.
One or two good performances and wins could turn this around.
I have a spare ticket for Fulham, for anyone sad enough to want to sit with me.
There’s some shit flying here tonight I must say..
A point yesterday wasn’t good enough. End of.
I would like to go back to Gary’s post earlier about daring to challenge the board and the treacherous behaviour of those dissenting voices that felt slightly betrayed.
Steve Morgan is the custodian of this great football club. With his position comes responsibility and accountability. We, the supporters have the absolute right to hold him to account – if we don’t, who will?
For us to provide Morgan with a happy clappy environment when his strategy isn’t working would be a dereliction of our duty. Praise when praise is due but by the same token challenge when there is good reason.
Now is the time for challenge.
Those accurate comments about Southampton make our situation look even more baffling when you consider that they are owned now by Swiss-based outfit ? Or am I mistaken ?
I try hard not to believe all the accusations that it’s all for the benefit of Redrow but a football club is a high risk “business”. Why buy one to treat it purely as a normal business and then have to suffer the ire of people like us ?
My final thoughts on the headless chicken blog gate! I cannot believe I support the same football team as him!
It’s extremely insulting to be rubbished for saying your piece. Argument is fine, but when it comes down to insults & off the wall reasoning then the argument is lost.
I can see the argument he is making but such unquestioning faith & loyalty is both naive & stupid in the extreme.
Good outcomes are only reached by enlightened discussion. Never blind faith.
I’m sure the two M’s would agree. They must get a good insight about what fans think from the fan survey.
It’s never wrong to be ambitious for your club. At Molineux the fans expectations are high because of past glory.
Fulham have hit form. Unless Kenny can instil some much-needed confidence I fear a repeat of the 5-0 result just before we were relegated from the PL. And, that was only the second match into Terry Connor’s short, doomed reign.
Jez Moxey has been at Wolves for as long as Sepp Blatter at FIFA. Presidents in the USA can only do two 4-year terms. I’ve said before, it’s time for a new broom, a new young, hungry and energetic CEO at Wolves. What we have to pay Jez in settlement we will save with a new young CEO eager to make his mark. Kenny needs more help at board level.
I would of taken a point before the game, the way we were playing, onwards and upwards now, on to Fulham I will be there I can see us winning 1 0.
Been away this weekend so only heard the result. I was quite disappointed with 1-1, even moreso when I heard PNE were down to 9.
But now having contemplated, and seen the highlights and read the match reports(and that’s all I have to go on), I’m beginning to see the bright side.
As they always say, it’s never easy to play against 10, especially away from home where the crowd rouse their heroes to superhuman efforts. Mac and Pricey seemed to show signs of re-kindling the understanding of previous seasons. Danny, albeit a bit ring rusty, was back and looked reasonably solid. Byrne looked very promising despite stepping into a team totally lacking in self belief.
Preston, understandably, pulled all their resources back behind the ball 2nd half and our efforts to break them down were, at times, pathetically inept. Chances which last season would have been snaffled up on instinct, now require thinking about and by then, it’s too late. A symptom of our poor results to date, of course, and also the extra pressure of playing against a depleted team.
Mac hasn’t scored many goals for us, and this is probably the best and most important so far.
In all honesty, I can’t see us getting much change out of Fulham, especially with their strength in the centre of their defence, so I now look forward to the match next Saturday for the revival to begin.
Apropos nothing, last night Nice beat St Etienne 1-4 away from home and they finished with only 9 men. When they kicked off SE were in the top 4 and Nice mid table. Means nothing, I know but interesting all the same……to me at least.
No it is not interesting 😛
😉
Well, I thought it was interesting. So there.
I thought it was intersting too lol. I also thought that, no matter who you play, getting a point away from home is a good result. Not as good as winning obviously, but a point away is always good.
The season is not yet over, we have work to do, yes, but I believe we will get our confidence back and start gelling again. After all, we am Wolve ay we.
Yes it is. I remember playing against a team that turned up with only 8 players. None of them ventured more than 30 yards from their own goal-line and it took more than an hour to break them down. Just because something looks easy doesn’t make it so.
Well this is a pretty disgruntled site this week, probably reflecting the game on Saturday.
In answer to the comment above about supporting our team.

All bloggers on this site who will be attending the game at Fulham on a Tuesday evening and these are only the ones I know for sure, are you attending Gary Gonzales?
Maybe you might want to think before you talk.
COMB’s
I know it can be hard to beat 10 men, but 9 for the last 18 minutes, that sums up the state of this team or should I say collection of players because that what they are as far as I can see. That’s down to selections motivation and tactics all of which Jackett is responsible for.
At the minutes I wouldn’t trust him to pick his nose. He still playing players out of there natural positions no wonder there’s no cohesion to the team. The attack is lack lustre because they are fed up of making the runs in the box only to find the need a roofers ladder to stand any chance of getting the ball, the Preston defence just lapped them up.
I can see the time approaching soon when fans will be calling for Jacketts head all the good work he has done over the last 2 years is be undone as each match goes by. I’m not impressed either with his after match analysis it’s straight out of the desperate managers hand book, ignores everthing believe everthing is fine……well it isn’t Kenny far from it…..!
It looks like Steve Morgan has finally decided to take the money and run and has put the club up for sale. No idea who the new owners will be but Morgan had clearly lost interest so I think his departure has to be a good thing. Who is out there who will invest in Wolves and take them back into the Premiership?
Lost interest? – It’s obvious he reads this blog and is very upset.
Can we have a whip-round on here and buy the club?
Let Clive From Houston be manager
I want to play up front with Afobe please Clive oh and yeh, I want £20,000 per week………………….
Steve.
Please don’t go?
Well not until you’ve paid the tenner back, sure you can afford it after your dismal display as a Chairman of a football club.
The plot thickens.
😉
Scouse ……………………. don’t forget to take Moxey with you
What a wonderful day. There is a god after all our prayers have been answered
Pressure group ay we..I blame Clive ..he was very very rude sometimes..
We’re doomed, Gary Gonzalez is apparently putting together a consortium to buy out Morgan 🙂
If his comments above are anything to go by, we’ve no Wuckin Furries.
Still checking date to be sure its not April 1
So its now a case of getting what we wished for…maybe
Somehow I doubt there’s a long line of buyers for second division teams, whatever their heritage, given that clubs like Villa and Everton(?) are still in the shop window
Lets hope this doesn’t end with Molineux being ‘re-branded’ as the Tsingtao stadium, or whatever
So what’s that saying we have about darkness..?
I can’t really say that I am pleased to see him walk away it just creates more uncertainty. If a genuine buyer was waiting in the wings then that would be different. One decent offer from another club with solid potential and ownership and Jackett would probably walk as well leaving us right up shit creak.
My backroom team can now officially announce that I’ve made a fantastic offer to buy WWFC from Steve Morgan .. In fact it’s been leaked that the offer is double, yes double, what he originally paid.
Yes it’s £20.
I’m still waiting for a reply from the CEO but expect to have an announcement soon.
No further comment will be made.
Well would you believe it… In a way I’m saddened by this development… But IMO (allegedly) I believe that Morgan only saw this as addition to his portfolio But never had the intention to give it the backing that Sir Jack did…. Thanks for your efforts Steve but let’s hope that the new custodians (excluding Moxey) will see the potential that WWFC has to become great again…..
Question is how much will he sell for? One thing is for sure he will want a bloody great wedge to let go of the reins. Bet he doesn’t put it up for a tenner! At least we now know why there has been no attempt to replace Sako and why we sold Stears – makes the balance sheet look more attractive.
Be careful what you wish for, the devil you know, blah blah blah and any other trite cliché you can think of will be trotted out.
Bottom line, he has finally admitted, by putting the club up for sale, that it has always only been a business, nothing more, and now he has, in his opinion, a more valuable asset to sell.
I will gladly hold the door open, pay his taxi fare to redrowland (Liverfool) and keep my fingers crossed that whoever buys the club has the intelligence to fuck greasel off as well.
Oops, I sweared.
Oh bollocks, I’m in a happy place right now, and if you cant stand the heat, get out of the kitchen. ( another trite cliché!!)
Maybe it is the power of the blog, but I think there is a deal already in place, a new owner ready to pony up, and blob the builder will have a swollen bank account.
As long as greasel goes, I don’t care.
If anyone out there in Blogland works for HM Inland Revenue, please take a careful look at all the tax returns etc of those two, underhand and devious are their second names!!
Now KJ can open his mouth and tell the truth, and hopefully the fans euphoria will rub off onto the players and we can belatedly kickstart our season.
Just feel very sorry that Richard Stearman will be on the wrong end of a thrashing tomorrow night.
Now to watch Everton kick the snot out of the shit!!
And they did oh happy days, I watched it and it was a wonderful game. Sandwell Town stuffed
Clive those two don’t do tax returns,
My dream:: New very rich owner in place ASAP carrying his open wallet. Do, whatever is necessary to make sure we stay in the Championship, if the manager has to go so be it. Next closed season buy in the quality that will see us challenge for the Championship title and then buy in the quality players that can keep us in the Premiership for a few seasons to get re-established as a big player
As long as he doesn’t sell us to Jeremy Peace out of spite !! Or the fuckin bhatti brothers…
Come on Mr Winkleman, your’e a true wolves fan and youv’e made a terrific job of MK Dons ground. Not a half bummed job like that alledged builder.
Just read an interesting tweet……
“Come on Robert Plant you know what to do”
“Toaster”
Mmmmm now there’s a rumour.
:-)))
Oh my god ! The best news in bloody years . Please promise to take that moron moxey with you back to scouse land, don’t for gods sake leave him with us.
Wolves fans , don’t fear the future , it couldn’t possibly be any more badly managed than those two have done it,
Can’t wait to see how much the greedy bugger wants .
Probly enough to make him a billionaire as he’s almost there .
Any bets on Tata Steel ?
Taxi for moxey!!!!!!!! Please please please
I’m so excited I have weed myself !!!!!!!
It will be interesting to see how much he sells the shares for…. incidently alleged 100%…The forthcoming acs should be interesting too..
We really need £50M to play with as a minimum and prob more…
But..believe it or not the current wage policy will help things.. our overheads are inline…and really we are ready to go..financially Wolves are not carrying any millstones…
I wonder Who? ..if the club had a buyer lined up then ..fair play ..but I doubt it…
KJ must be wondering and wondering..and if he knew then that explains it…so be it
Fulham here I come.
Have a buyer lined up ! He never had a manager lined up !
Bloke in pub just come back from hols in portugal.reckons he played golf with Bully over there. 1. KJ has lost dressing room. 2. Tata steel will take over by xmas. (Owner is one of richest blokes in world). Indian apparently- do the job Punjabi wolves…
Ooh great ……balti pies
These days it seems you need a billionaire owner to get anywhere – sadly that’s modern football for you, especially at the top levels.
Can we please have an owner who cares deeply for our club, won’t change our heritage & name our stadium after the highest bidder or decide that black & gold are not appropriate colours!!
“Out of darkness cometh light!”
Just to back cheeseburgers words.
My mole at the Mol told me a few weeks ago about the dressing room stuff and I passed it on to you guys. He also told me about TATA, so sounds like Bully is on the money.
TATA M&M
We definitely need some Steel in the players backbones.
A rebranding is I order I feel. The Dalmatian Wolves, and we can have a spotty black and white strip. Mmmmmm. Nice.
Have a read of the BBC site where Morgan praises moxey as being the best ceo in the football league and apparently he is truly admired by his peers for working his socks off 24 ..7, (when he isn’t in miami of course)
The smoke screen at molineux is mighty thick it seems, as this is the same bloke who handed out stupid contracts to some of the worst professional’s to ever put a wolves shirt on.
Well , if the he is the bench mark for CEOs can I be next please as there’s no way even I would have sanctioned some of the stupidity he has overseen and I’m no so called accountant but I could do with his wages …..
Although I’m not so anti-Morgan as many on here, and elsewhere on the web, I must admit to a tingle of excitement at the prospect of new owners taking over at our beloved club. Excitement, tempered with a big dollop of foreboding, ’cause it could all go terribly wrong. Of course, it could all go fantastically right too.
Other clubs in the area have been looking for buyers without success but we are financially secure with a top-notch academy and good ground. I think a buyer will soon be forthcoming. What concerns me is who that buyer might be, and what their intentions are.
Unlike many, I will not be jumping for joy until I see which fire we land in now we are exiting the frying pan.
There is a God, I’d be happy with someone who has there heart in Wolves or a foreign buyer with the balls and vison and funds to turn us into a force again.
What ever or who ever buys Wolves I hope and expect 1 thing from them a least something Morgan never was and that’s honesty.
BUT even know Morgans hiding something from us like he has along, only this time it’s how much,
How much Steve ay is this going to be your final kick in the teeth, two fingers to us fans come on……….how much, how much what ever the price you don’t deserve it…..!
Will feel better when prospective buyers break cover and that Chinese consortium that looked at Sandwell Town aren’t one of them!
Bully’s insight looks like it carries more than a grain of truth! Oh Stevie Bull’s a TATA….
If it’s Tata then financially it’s good news indeed ..which part of the family how much invested and where does KJ fit in…..
Mmm ..
My ultimate owner would be the guy who used to own phones4u he’s british and a BILLIONAIRE …………..lives local staffordshire some where carnt think of his name………..if only….!
In the words of Captain sensible ” if you don’t have a dream, how can you have a dream come true “
His name is Caldwell and I think you have made a good call
So Morgan’s finally had enough! So have we of him! I must admit I let out a little yell on the tube journey back home tonight – I think it was at East Finchley – when my usual after work, pick up signal routine to google a’Wolves’ returned the news that ‘Slob the Sly Old Builder Scouser picks his nose and eats it’ was selling up and getting on his donkey to ride out of town! Happy Days! Yes I am careful what i wish for and am happy to see this devil that I know get the f*** out of Wolves! I’ve never like Liverpool, what happened in 1976 made things worse, Brookside didn’t help and now after 8 years of Morgan, I positively want it wiped from the face of the earth. Funny how the last parachute payment season and the realisation that promo to the prem on the cheap aint gonna happen this season, has coincided with him wanting to sell up! It aint even been a year since Sir Jack (god rest his soul) passed away. So much for his ‘I’m a Wolves fan now’ ‘my blood runs gold and black’ did he really think true Wolves fans would fall for such nonsense! We can all see him for what he is – a leach. He’s probably bought up enough land in Wolverhampton to make this 8 year sojourn in the Black Country a lucrative one for that shitty builder firm of his! Good riddance. Now there’s just one clown left to run out of town. Then just maybe I can look forward to an owner who really appreciates Wolves. The club of Cullis, Wright, Hancocks and Mullen. Before then, The Major and Dennis (what a goal scoring machine he was). The 60s of Farmer and Knowles. Then the team that made me Wolves of Dougan, Richards, Waggy, Hibbitt, Munro and of course Mike Bailey (what a captain). Even in the 80s during the dark days there were odd beacons of light like Andy King, before god really took pity and gave us BULLY!!!! Oi Bully Bully and all those lads from Turner’s team that rose from the ashes! Mutch, Robbie, Andy T, Floyd and even Ally ‘you were rubbish at West Brom, you’re still rubbish at Wolves’ Robertson (as some fan said on a cold November’s day in Leyton! Fast forward to recent times and we’ve still found more who wore the old gold and black with pride, SEB, Sako, Dicko, Batth. The memories, cups won, league titles! We are Wolves and whoever takes over will be one lucky person! Morgan I’m afraid was only in it for one thing and it was not football related, not in the purest sense anyway. This is day one of a new Wolves dawn – hopefully!
So Stearman may have been sacrificed to make the accounts look better to any potential buyer; only goes to show that Morgan never really engaged with Wolves despite what he has said recently to the press and media about being an adoptive son of Wolverhampton.
If Wolves had really got into his heart, just like the rest of us on here, then he wouldn’t be able to let go and sell.
Better the devil you know – I don’t think so.
Rejoice in wba 2 everton 3 med my fuckin nite!
I hope it isn’t Tata. Don’t like them, and they try to drive wages down in their consulting business.
Shit or bust now boys !!!
Going to give stearman a big old round of applause at the cottage … Anyone going to join me ?
Idiot old men many of them bald as baboons bums abusing an owner while they all hide in the gutter safe from Stevie Morgan being able to abuse them. BUY THE CLUB NOW YA BUNCH OF BUMS !
THIS IS YOUR CHANCE BUT THE TRUTH IS YOU HAVE,NT GOT A POT TO PISS IN BETWEEN YA HAVE YOU ?
Deluded silly men who don,t own Wolves but frighteningly think they do in their mental state. Telling the board what to spend and on who and telling the manager who to play and who to get in the market.
Cuckoo Steptoe and Son Wolf Cuckoo you deluded headless chicken Houston Cuckoo the rest of the dummies who think they own the club posting here. No better than Albuion fans. As for taking note of what Bully says while an exciting Wolves player he has a retarded way of putting vwords together similar to your Cuckoo posts.
Love the Tata rumours as unbelievable they may be. It’s a dream team Tata’s for owners and Spud as manager.
Sounds like a bit of a mash up to me, but I can see the ‘a peel’.
True colours
Most of you on here thought morgan ( lower case spelling used derisively) was red through and through.
Well, he isn’t, he is yellow.
Scared to invest a bit of his huge wealth, to speculate on the Premiership riches.
Scared to get rid of greasel, because he might just get a “no” man replacement.
Scared of a fight, another relegation fight.
And most of all, scared of us Wolves fans.
Any owner worth his salt would listen to the manager, the players and the fans, but not blob.
He NEVER had any intention of making our club a footballing success, only to milk it for every penny, with his sycophantic henchman toadying behind on his coat tails.
I sincerely believe he has a done deal already in place, and it will be trotted out in due course, as a “surprise”.
No, morgan, you are not, nor never have been gold and black, not even red, you are that deepest of yellow, a fuckin’ coward.
Go ahead, crawl back to your McMansion in Liverfool, and take that greasy scumbag with you.
Your absence will not be missed or mourned.
Remember……………….Old Gold and Black, these colours don’t run!!
Well he has run out of ideas and is not prepared to invest any of his wealth after all. His bluff has been called. Legacy what legacy ?
Excellent posts from incognito and Clive, well said! So, the dice have been rolled and now let’s hope things move quickly. None of us knows what the outcome of this interregnum period will be, so let’s dream……..what if this time, we get the dream ticket of ownership a la Chelsea or MCFC ? Foreign owned yes but with a commitment to success backed by proper investment. God bless sir Jack but wouldn’t it be ironic if after all his fantastic efforts for the club, the genuine success of wolves back punching its weight at the top table of British and European football was delivered by an Indian or a Chinese investor?
I am not optimistic about a foreign investor making us the next Chelsea or MCFC. More likely we will join the rump of clubs like Blacburn Birmingham and Leeds. But Morgans heart and wallet are not in it so there is not much choice. Sounds like his 2 divorces are going to cost him far far more than he put into the club. Apart from the academy its all very disappointing.
How much is going to sell for ? More than a tenner i shouldnt wonder.
“But Morgans heart and wallet are not in it so there is not much choice”. Yes, that sums the situation up.
This has surprised me and the timing is dreadful but long term I hope it will be a good move and will benefit the club. I’m excited and a tad apprehensive. I guess it all depends on who buys us and if they are prepared to invest. The right owner and we could be on the way up. The wrong one and I don’t want to think about it.
I think it is true to say that things have stagnated at the club in recent times. That follows on from some disastrous decisions relating to managers under the tenure of SM. There has been an ongoing lack of investment.
A clean slate is required and I believe that means that Moxey has to go.
Under Morgan we were already with the rump of clubs like Blackburn, Birmingham and Leeds! There was never any hope of any better under him. Don’t know what will happen now, it all depends on who buys the club, but I do know that under him we were heading back down to the 3rd division. No doubt in my mind.
I did have hope because at least he did seem to have the money but yes looks like he decided some time ago he wasnt going to spend big on manager or team. Wouldnt surprise me if he didnt set foot in the town again. And all this after the stuff he came out with last week. Unbelievable – cant put it any kinder than that.
Well there’s only one way to get the players interested again, to win the fans back, get the club on track and tempt investors and that starts tonight by playing the football we know they can play. The dressing room appears to be in tatters, if my mole and Bully appeared to know about this weeks ago, then you can be sure the players did, little wonder they were unsettled.
He paid £100 million out on his first divorce and I believe he is sacrificing Wolves to fund the second, the comment was made a huge shock and bad timing. Well the next headline read, “Thousands rejoice after Morgan’s statement” I believe the second.
The shock was welcomed by fans and the timing, well there’s no good time to bail out. Win tonight boys and we are in the better half of the table, go on a run and we are financial stable and look a great prospect. Anyone spot a conspiracy theory here, you can never find a Twixfix when you need one, but I spoke with him last night and he’s cutting short his holiday in France to get back, ( made that last bit up, but it sounds good)
London Wolf, me, Steve Showcase and JerryD will give Stears a cheer, he was Wolves through and through and now it appears he was sacrificed as part of the Morgan divorce fund.
StuWolf will not be sorry to see the Red Red Robin go blob blob blobbing along.
Shoot the bathplug, shoot the bathplug.
Onwards and Upwards me babbies, the sun is shining brightly over Wolverhampton today.
🙂
Oh Garry bell end , you are such a dribbling retard .
We are three blog pages ahead . Has it taken you this long to type that nonsense ?
I thought Cheeseburger was always on the piss, I guess knobhead Gonzo is too. What utter tosh.
