“We have a threat going forward but we have to be stronger at the back than we have in the last few months. So I decided to come here and be strong.”
“The whole team has been too wide open, the game was too wide and you can’t defend like that – no slight on Walter Zenga.”
Probably a touch difficult to not see that as a criticism of his predecessor, but I’m inclined to agree with Paul Lambert’s assessment.
The team has been too open. They haven’t got close enough to the opposition and that’s been reflected in the goals that have been conceded lately.
A cleansheet and a respectable point isn’t too shabby a debut, even if the attacking performance left much to be desired.
There were few surprises in defence with familiar personnel in a familiar setup and after our first successful shutout since the middle of September we shouldn’t grumble.
That said, the same frailties and individual errors surfaced at crucial moments, which could easily have taken the game away.
Dominic Iorfa was lucky to escape punishment after a clumsy challenge in the box and Kortney Hause’s slip (albeit in an otherwise strong showing) in the final minute sent their striker through on goal.
Focus and decision making are two key attributes for any defender at any level and unfortunately these are the precise areas our promising young stoppers have repeatedly been found lacking at the crucial moments this term.
I can’t help but feel the team would benefit from Richard Stearman’s experience in attempting to navigate this difficult period. He must be close to a start.
Many point to a ‘one big mistake every few games’ track record, but his colleagues are averaging one a game so that argument goes flying out the window.
Further forward, Lambert did raise eyebrows by bringing in Jack Price and George Saville who’ve seldom featured in recent times, as well as a shock start for Bright Enobakhare.
Two of those changes were in line with the head coach’s ‘lock it down’ game plan but the inclusion of Enobokhare was the major statement of intent.
If the young striker can suddenly jump the queue, it’s a reminder that nobody’s position is safe and there’s opportunity for all.
Not much went for Bright in a tight, congested contest and it was only in the final knockings when Dicko, Cavaleiro and Wallace entered the fray that Wolves began to threaten.
Cavaleiro produced the two best crosses of the afternoon for Wolves, both for Dicko and both unfortunately squandered.
Still, there will be an expectancy for those forward thinking players to start next Saturday in Lambert’s Molineux curtain raiser.
He alluded to the fact that the team needs to be setup differently to play at home, so I would expect at least some of those changes to happen.
It’s a scrappy, low key start. But maybe a few months of ‘low key’ is exactly what we need?

Steady as she goes, I’m happy with a point. The teams been a work in progress all season, which most predicted before the season started. He’s finding his feet and the team are trying to find/stay on theirs. Let’s see what comes along January as to either consolidate or go for the play offs. Happy stable days.
Happy with a point and clean sheet.
It was important not to loose this one.
Good start PL
Hmmmmmm. Baby steps I think. Looking at the very brief highlights I thought it was down to luck that we did not concede. As for us not scoring ……… no change there.
A fortunate point, which I will take. A point away from home is always a good point.
Wow honeymoon period in full swing the exact same performance that Jackett gave us far too much of last season and bored us all to tears.. Need big improvement next week in front of a big home crowd..
A promising start. The same defenders who had performed uselessly so far this season, looked far more secure. They seem to have been coached. The trick here must surely be to let them play together as a unit and consolidate these next few weeks.
Up front is a different story. Very impotent, but encouraging to see the inclusion of Bright.
I firmly believe that Mr Lambert will sort it out. We have much to look forward to.
well we did not lose so have to take it as a positive, surprised that saville was included surely we have better ? Would have liked to see Cavalerio start with Dicko but perhaps will see this Saturday UTW
Just as I expected, good point against an inform team.Would have settled for a point before kick off.
If he doesn’t play the new guys, no new guys will sign in January or the summer.
What sign is he sending out to Talisco?
I was disappointed, we travelled a 200 mile round trip on a blocked solid M6 in heavy snow to freeze our nadds off, fans on some of the coaches stil pitching up at 3-20 to witness more of the same KJ boring football.
On the plus side, Bright was given his chance, but Saville Coady, Wallace before Siass, Cavalerio and Dicko, you are taking te piss Mr Lambert.
When Dicko and Cavalerio came on the game swung our way. I won’t be told Dicko isn’t fully fit now that’s rubbish, he is sharp, quick, full of running and better than most on the pitch that played yesterday.
Why are we setting up to not lose or settle for a draw with players of that calibre on the bench, we are going nowhere this year except backwards, so why not take the chance.
Lambert has watched more than two weeks of Wolves he’s been watching from afar, so we have the British manager who has been in the chumpionship before, he knows the rules, he played it too safe when we truly have nothing to lose.
This os not a whinging dig at PL but an observation of what we saw yesterday, I was truly expecting better than that. But we din’t lose and we didn’t concede in the first 15 minutes so I suppose that’s an improvement.
I am truly expecting better next week at home, you played it too safe PL, there is a 22 points difference between us and Newcastle that proves how grim the football quality at Wolves is so far this season.
Truly not a dig but I’m disappointed.
Well said stuWulf totally agree, its only been a couple of weeks I know but of thought PL could have selected a much better side with what we have available, having said that ,it was good to see him looking at some of the young ones.but still I couldn’t understand why he didn’t select Dicko and Cav.
Early days so let’s not get to despondent and hope for 3 points com Saturday next.
Johnok
I’m certainly not despondent, with Chinese TV pumping Β£500million into the Premiership this week, there’s only one place Fosun want to be. They will make it happen in this season or the next.
We’re for the promised land.
With so many teams being bought by the Chinese, why will we be more special than the others?
I think the lure of Exposure to Chinese TV and the dosh involved in being in the Premiership will be a huge incentive to Fosun to make sue their venture is part of it.
Stu, I’s not going to happen this season. Even the play offs is a stretch.
Signed
The Realist
Please tell me your’e the same “realist” from Wolves rumours.
If leaving Cavalerio, Siass and Dicko on the bench is his idea of changing things around, then I don’t honestly think it will happen with PL either. I genuinely thought he was braver than his showing on Saturday.
Even Ian Holloway got a win from his underperforming QPR.
Stu, No mate I don’t use any other blogs.
Ahhh,
Not disappointed with you.
It’s just this guy used to sign himself ” the Realist ” and he was red hot with his info on the club, his stuff was up to the minute on the inside of the club and he was always spot on.
Your’e just as valuable as him any day. π
I found the game boring.
Saiss only arrived on Thursday, it’s understandable he wasn’t picked, as PL has hardly met him!
If Dicko plays he would have to drop ‘Bright Hare’ who is our only striker with confidence.
I’d like to see him start with Cavaleiro supplying him with crosses.
Still, at least the defence must have improved….
The defensive part of the game is the fundament, and priority number one for many managers, a part of the game we’ve struggled with for a while, to say the least. It is probably also the easiest part correcting, taking into account that so many of the players have been away playing for their countries. Getting back the confidence are so important for the young players. And besides – Rome wasn’t built in a day. Klopp did improve Liverpool in his first season, but they didn’t perform concistently on a high level before this season.
KJK
With the greatest respect, of the guys away playing for their Country Bodvarsson was unbelievable, getting back to his confident self, Hause apart from his SLIP, was very good and Iorfa didn’t do much wrong on Saturday.
As soon as talk of a buyout started I thought of Chelski and Man City, they took years to get where they are now and that is genuinely my views on how long it will take us, but I do like to dream, stupid old man I know but Hey we’re Wolves, as they used to say in Thunderbirds, “anything can happen in the next half hour”
If I haven’t got expectations or a dream, I may as well stay in bed all day.
But I do take on board what you say and I am only expressing my opinions only.
Yes, I just think it’s a bit early drawing conclusions. Cavaleiro, Saiss and Dicko didn’t start the match against Preston. I’m pretty sure they’ll start in our next home game – at least some of them. In a recent interview Lambert stated he prioritized the defence against Preston and wanted to field players which he knew had lots of experience from the championship. He also wanted to give Bright a chance to shine, which he, in my opinion, deserved. I’d rather focus on the positives than what went wrong, only to conclude we’re on the right track. Lambert deserves a clean sheet.
Agree with Thomas would be harsh to be critical of Lambert. If he had ‘gone for it’ in the manner that Zenga and Edwards were we would have almost certainly just lost again. We need to start doing things differently and get some positive results or we will be relegated.
Lambert is still learning about the players at his disposal and most of us
would agree we are at least one quality player short in every department. Its going to take time.
Only listened to it on WM FM but sounds like we were lucky not to concede.
Steve Daley was very positive about the change in style, defending higher up, Price’s contribution.
But very cautious from Lambert a return to KJ English players & style. His excuse would be we are in a relegation battle & just couldn’t lose the game.
I would like to know where the hell is the team that played like promotion contenders earlier in the season?
We beatBlues, Newcastle, Reading & Brentford with ease. But that team has seemingly disappeared now. Very frustrating indeed.
Would like to see PL succeed, he will need time though there still seems to be more questions than answers about this team’s abilities to progress.
Indeed even to chalk up a win.
Where is ‘Prince’?
Injured matey.
Him and Ola John picked up something.
This game showed our true situation and current problems in a glowing light ..we need at least two strikers a main midfielder and two main defenders.Period.At least …..
Our current goalie could be our no1.We need a new captain.Iorfa should be under scrutiny.Hause is not good enough yet.We need at least one player.. probably two who the fans turn up for…is the starting signature for PL as he is hopefully cute enough to know that a few CLASS acquisitions will get us there.
I mention Sako again.I think Keane would embarrass himself…we need an Afobe (type of ) player ..we all might have to accept Dicko will or never will be sharp.
Bod needs support. DB could stay in my team if he had support too.
We could of lost 2-0 as easily as I hate Sundays.PL was charmed yesterday.
APPEAL
Paul Lambert -please..if you are savvy enough buy Sako back there is 30000 fans who would be behind that except Clive of course.
Our position in the league makes ones heart flutter so I’m pleased you have big cojones..
Early days for you I know but the youngsters are just feeder players off the bench in this current position..
PL . He is lying there is NOWHERE near 30k wanting Sako back.
Patience, patience! Our strikers are the best in the league – when their confidence are restored.
I’m with you Steve. As that great song from Les Miserables puts it… Bring Him Home.
Like Brompton I agree its nowhere near 30,000. Maybe 45,000?
I listened on the radio and it sounded a drab game so fair play to all the fans who made the journey. Preston were on a great run of form so this is a really good point. Okay it wasn’t the best performance this season but it certainly wasn’t the worst. We kept a clean sheet and looked more organised than at any time previously. A step in the right direction for me.
Delighted to see Price back in the team. We play better with him in the side and I think him and Coady is our best midfield pairing in a 4231 set up. Both are tenacious, disciplined and leaders on the pitch. I can also understand why Saville played as he offers more defensively but I do think Cavaleiro is getting better with each game, he seemed to create more in his 10 minutes than in the rest of the match. I can see Cav playing at the Mol and Sav playing away from home in the future.
If we just played all the summer signings we would end up getting relegated as most of them aren’t up to the job unfortunately.
And finally a referee decision that went our way when Iorfa pushed their player over in the box. It was about time we had one go in our favour!!
Thomas, I haven’t agreed with anybody so much since the PMDG’er said I looked the dog’s bollocks in my new leather jacket.
Stearman HAS to get a start.
I know that a lot of people on this blog don’t like him and have said there’s always a mistake in him waiting to happen, but for the last numpty nine games we haven’t had to wait for a mistake to be made by any one of our central defenders.
They keep coming thick and fast.
And costing us dear.
I may be stretching things a bit by comparing him to John Stones but he likes to play the ball out of defence rather than just hoof it or head it back to the opposition and this is sometimes risky.
But at least he’s prepared to try.
And he always gets in the way of shots on the edge of the penalty area.
How is that worse than what we’ve seen from the others who have attempted to stem the flow of goals against us?
Other than that, I’m with Steve Showcase on the Sako argument.
I would have him back in a flash if he’d come, particularly now Dicko is fit again. They used to work together so well.
Put those two together again and I predict a riot, I predict a riot.
I don’t think we can complain on the defence as long as we don’t concede goals. Iorfa and Hause are players for the future. Lambert deserves credit for playing them.
Wasn’t there yesterday and have great respect for those who made the trek up the M6 (Stu). What I have read and heard sounds like we rode our luck but we’re due some. And I do support the view our first priority is clean sheets. Given these the rest will follow. We need first and foremost to get away from the relegation zone. Failure to do so will put the “project” back at least 1 year. Once we’ve achieved safety we can go for it.
Let’s face it gents and ladies … we were never going to become Barca overnight……. unbeaten away since 18 Oct will do for me.
I’ll take a hard earned away point yesterday every day of the week.
We’ve all got opinions on team selection and who cuts the mustard….but this is just the beginning.. I’m pretty sure Lambert will soon find the right mix….staring against Sheffield Wed on 26th.
At least some of are pleased that Jack Price got a look in…… I do believe we have the making of a terrific squad ..once the dross has been weeded out.
I’m now looking fwd to next Sat and to hopefully a 3 point return.
Myself and Mrs Twixfix will be in the APV on Sat so hopefully can meet up with some fellow bloggers (BEDFORD AND BOG plus others).
Like the leather jacket reference DOOG… hope you’re keeping well…
I’ll be around Twix. Be good to catch up again. π
Look fwd to that mate….
Listened to the commentary and seen the highlights, if that’s what they were.
Happy we didn’t concede early. Happy we didn’t concede at all. Sure, we seemed to ride our luck at times but I don’t feel their penalty shout was clearcut anyway. Either way, it’s long overdue for the ref to give us something.
Mistakes in defence went unpunished for a change, but our forward play seemed disjointed and largely ineffective. Early days though and I’m sure a week with the entire squad will see Mr Lambert instil much needed cohesion and attacking intent.
I hope so, ’cause I’m taking the long road north next week and I don’t want a wasted journey.
Bloody awful journey yesterday didn’t get in till five past three, it would have been even later if the coaches had not had a police escort from the motorway, thanks to the Lancashire police!! As for the match it was’nt that bad I was’nt expecting too much so I quite enjoyed it, probably because I am resigned to a period of change(again) still we will be there through thick and thin cheering the boys on. A word about the guys around me and Mrs Lowves, they were the nicest most positive fans I have met for a long time, and we go home and away , a credit to wwfc thanks boys
DG thx for the Sako support you know it makes sense….
as regards Steers though.. why not put ones hand in the fire and see if it hurts twice ..if he was rejected on the basis that he was a danger and incidentally also made continuous fopaux’s at Fulham (inc letting us score against him) then why add to DB’s problems…double dose of the hebe jebies then…
Retrograde steps can’t be the answer surely ? add Iorfas casual ‘I might want to leave’ play too and we will have to score 3 just to draw..
We simply have to buy that no5…or Get struck by a miracle with Williamson.
Whatever happens soon or in January the biggest miracle would be us in the top six..
about 33-1…
Mr Lambert !!
Disappointing. Entertainment value: nil.
Key stat for me: one weak header on target.
Lucky not to lose. Let’s hope we carry on being lucky.
My son Steve, a Gooner, sent me this picture of the pub in Bethnal Green, N.E. London, where he watched the Man U v Arsenal game on Saturday lunchtime. What a hovel!
I thought Tower Hamlets borough council had a strict by law to demolish eye sores BW?
They missed a trick here.
I thought you were winding me up when I read your text and the Throstle badge has been cleverly imposed onto the photo of another boozer.
I see the Hawthorns hovel had barely 20,000 attendance last night but they still won 4 0.
We are light years behind them now – 9th fecking 9th and 6 consecutive seasons in the Prem.
Enough to make me puke.
See you Saturday
BOG
The Luftwaffe missed a bloody good target there!!!
Isnt that what they call Muck Tudor ?
Ha ha ha – brilliant.
Pleased with a point. Clean sheet. Looked more compact. Bloody awful weather. Cold and wet. To be honest the match was a bit of a blur after 8 pints before the match. Got the train up. Bang on time no probs. Lovely sunny weather all the way up until Wigan NW when a massive black cloud and downpour came along and the snow on top of the moors. Back in to Preston till 8 o clock for more beer then 8.15 train back. Good day out. Dull match but a point is a point whether dull 0-0 or a 4-4 thriller. On to next week we go. Need to stop the rot at home.
Cheesy it aint the 70’s or the 80’s anymore you cant just go around getting early trains and getting pissed before the match…..can you ?
Colin.
It’s called medication, to be taken for our five minutes of glory each game. If we didn’t drink we would be swinging by the neck from the rafters. Don’t forget boys, we’re worse at home, so how is PL going to correct that one?
I remember giving up my season ticket after being bored shitless by Mark McGhee trying to win every game 1-0. I remember completely falling our of love with the game whilst Kenny Jackett tried to draw every game 0-0 just to keep us out of the 3rd division and make sure we were sellable. But do you remember when Wolves got taken over by Chinese billionaires and we had a passionate manager and we all sang his name and we all did the viking clap and all started to love football again? Those were the days my friends. FFS. Here we fucking go a-fucking-gain.
A Wolves supporter’s good times are like being hooked on crystal meth. (So I’m told).
The more you have, the shorter and less intense is the high you get from it but the more you crave.
Perhaps, soon we’ll be saying:-
“Do you remember those five minutes in the first half when we got that corner?
“I was there. Great days mate!”.
Anyone know how James Henry is getting on? Can we get him back and complete the whole KJ team?
Lets see what happens on Saturday before we pass judgment on Paul lambert .
A good defense and a couple of our new signings to create … like I say .. he’s only has had an hour and a half .
I too only listened to Steve Dailey s commentary on Saturday and it did sound shit !
Everyone was saying though how jack price constantly marshalled every player around him both on and off the ball Making sure that no one lost concentration and completely stopping pne from playing . Curious as to what that will look like with Saiss in front of the back four ( can Siass play center half anyone know ?
Saiss played CH for Morocco in a recent World Cup Qualifier away against Gabon who had Dortmund’s Aubameyang leading their attack. Finished 0-0, so he must have done ok.
I wasn’t one of the hardy souls at the game. I would give greater credence to any one of them over my own opinion. But, it’s surely ludicrously early for negative reactions to PL’s first game?
A clean sheet and a point at Preston must be considered a good start. After all, we have a bloated squad very short on confidence and compatibility.
PL is hopefully here for the long term and rebuilding starts now. Ten games in will give us a better idea of the Lambert revolution. Cup games apart, that should take us through to the away fixture at Norwich in January. What a test that will be for both teams. We will have Norwich’s best ever head coach and Norwich will have Jez Moxey! Fair exchange.
Dances.
I really don’t think we were being negative, to a man the folk that post on here stated we are 100% behind PL and will continue to be so. I just feel people were expecting better. It was a poor game, and we were very, very lucky indeed believe me.
I also hope PL is here for the duration and takes us to the promised land.
It’s the beauty of the blog, we don’t all have to agree except for one thing, getting behind the club. So it doesn’t matter to me who is manager, owner, trainer we get behind them.
Stu.
I was expecting better too. I might well have been more negative if I’d made the trip to Preston. I am still expecting gradual but real progress towards the transfer window. Then, when PL has had a clear-out and has signed players of his choice I expect greater things.
Only then can we properly judge him.
There’s no doubt in my mind however that PL can take us to the PL. Maybe the identical initials are karma.
A good point and we kept a clean sheet. A platform to work on. Rubbish game apparently but it’s a decent start for PL.
Colin mate. You would be surprised. Our train left wolvo at 9.37. Plenty of wolves fans on there already drinking cans of beer! I abstained till Preston about 10.50. As stu says you do need drink to watch Wolves at the moment. Next away game for me is Forest i suspect the beer freely flowing there. Went there 3 years ago got slaughtered. Lost everybody. Got the train to Brum (or so i thought) and woke up in Leicester! I’m really old enough to know better. Bollocks to it !
Positives A clean sheet.
A point away from home.
Getting the score right.
Its baby steps from Wolves but we do need to get some points on the table.
If we win Saturday that point would be a good result at Preston
For gods sake give pl time
First things first don’t concede job done
When was the last clean sheet we had, I don’t care,at the moment if we play a bit more like that, let’s get some more clean sheets get some confidence back I’m the defenders and hopefully chip a few goals in
We will become a lot better with lambert
Cookie your right, the main thing is we get enough points to be safe anything else is a bonus then come the summer get rid of dead wood of which there are many…!
Stephen Ward and Sam Vokes in line up for Burnley at THE SHIT HOLE tonight. Come on lads. Do the right thing !
Several of our old boys plying their trade in the Prem at the moment, with varying degrees of success. Pity we can’t call ’em all back. Yep, even Wardy. π
Fuck sake 3-0 down 40 mins gone wor wat i ad in mind
Good song in pub Saturday. ‘La la la la la Lambert.. La la Lambert. La la Lambert. La la Lambert’ etc etc.
Well here’s a stocking filler for ya as Lambert’s revolution begins, hang about the house in ..er.. style
Was being bit tongue in cheek i have slept all night stuck at Crewe station.
…..when you were young you shone like the sun. Shine on you crazy wolf !
Burnley played like Wolves in our last PL season. The way Wardy constantly backed off, brought it all back. You just have to run at him and he will run backwards. Then, when he’s been rounded and someone’s scored, he sort of throws his arms up in the air, like someone else is to blame. I was at the Chelsea v Burnley match earlier this season and I said to my Chelsea mate to keep an eye on Ward, tell me what you think. My Chelsea mate did and said, he’s rubbish, absolutely useless…
I think it’s safe to say that Paul Lambert won’t be signing Stephen Ward. Ever.
Let me cast your mind back to Saturday, 01 Nov 2014.
KJ’s team are fourth, just a couple of points off top.
Birmingham city, cash-strapped, almost bankrupt, hot tip for relegation, sitting 23rd in the Championship are coming to Molineux on the back of an 8-0 home thrashing by Bournemouth.
I’m rubbing my hands with glee and anticipation. I couldn’t wait for the early KO and started celebrating before the game starts.
But Blouses have a new manager, Gary Rowett, … so what!
They shut up shop and sneak a 0-0 draw (in fact could have nicked it with a good penalty shout against James Henry!) It’s the new-man-in-charge booster. See the parallel.
Maybe, just maybe, PL can emulate the success of Rowett (wash my mouth out) and in two years time turn this juggernaut round and get us into the play-off places.
As Frank sang: “I’m looking at the world through rose coloured glasses, everything is rosy now.”
That bore draw was the start of a terrible run in November 2014. Dicko was injured. That run cost us dearly at the end of the season. KJ should have had striker cover in place in summer 2014, he should have demanded it from M&M in fact.
To prove the point, once Dicko and Sako were together again, plus new signing Afobe, our run from January 2015 till end of season was equivalent to top two if replicated over the whole season.
The criminal paucity of ambition demonstrated in 2014 cost KJ dearly and in fact led directly to Steve Morgan’s confrontation with fans in the Preston car park the following season.
I see what you mean groinich
But! I want to be aiming a lot higher than Birmingham bloody city! Are.
Here is what Jez Moxey has to say about Alex Neil:
βHe is in the results-driven business and he has got to win football matches for this football club. That is his job,β Moxey said beforehand. βHe more than anyone else realises it has to happen very quickly because it is uncomfortable for him, it is uncomfortable for the players, for the board, the staff and the supporters. We are disappointed at the current situation. The staff feel it, we feel it, the manager feels it. That is not what Norwich City should be about. We should be about success.β
I just can’t wait for us to past Norwich on their way down the table!
Old jez, He talks the right words but you and I know he s like a deadly fungus when he takes a club ..
welcome ‘ Norwich ‘ to being the 27 th best football club in England for as long as he reigns!!
Good old Jez. Kenny Jackett must have been under similar pressure from Moxey as Alex Neil is now. It’s counter-productive rather than supportive.
I just want us to pass anybody on our way UP the table. π
If it’s good enough for “the Rock” then it’s certainly good enough for me……
Must admit .. while I’m quietly waiting for Saturday and not much happening I’m taking a leaf out of dances with wolves book . ( please ,,
no one let Norwich fans know … cos they hate us , but the moxit effect is kicking in )
I don’t want to name names but i was lucky enough to have a few pints with a very good and recent wolves player and he took a couple of hours explaining to me how moxey puts himself between the player ( who usually only signs because they like / or have dealings with the manager ) and the coach … believe you me some of the excamples he gave me were nothing sort of shit .
Let me give you an excample of just one instance… the exact details are sketchy as we were both pissed but Alex Rae … was having an enjoyable stay at wolves and was thinking about a more permanent life near the mol , saw a lovely farm for sale nearby at a reasonable mil ish price. Being an animal kind
of guy he decided that the place was for him .. he mistakingly told moxey ( everybody’s mate what he was up to , and got his animals shipped down from Scotland ) . He came to the property to organize everything with the transported livestock to find he couldn’t access the farm . Problem was moxey had gazumpted him at the 11 th hour and bought said farm !!
Oh well profit before trust / friendship / honor / team / morals etc.. you know how it is , when you ve already got a few mill best stand on your so called friend to make a bit more eh ? !
And there’s more . That’s just one excample
London, I hope Alex sat Poxey on his arse !!
Alex should have negotiated with Jez.
He probably only wanted the farm for the pig troughs.
See lescott is having his contract torn up down to wages
I for one would take him back in January.??
Cookie he is well past his sell by date, no mate thanks but no thanks. This brings me on to ex girlfriends that’s another one where you should never go back.I did and again and again and just one more time and again and one for the road……………6 months later……….no never go back I still get the odd shudder thinging about it now luckily she’s somewhere in Manchester got her claws into some other poor soul……great sh.g though.
I
Y’ole romantic you!
On a short vacation trip to see aged mother in law.
Today is one of the few holidays I agree with, and I would like to wish all my fellow bloggers:
Happy Thanksgiving Day.
No matter our preferences, differences or beliefs, we all have something to be thankful for.
Personally, I am thankful Doogooder has pulled through his tribulations, and I hope this time next year we can say the same for Mrs Bedders.
Cheers Clive.
Just got back from my six weekly check up.
They shoved a camera up my nose and down my throat and gave me the thumbs up so it’s all good at the moment.
I’d like to echo your thoughts for Mrs Bedders and wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving too.
Most of us have a lot to be thankful for.
Thank you Clive. I don’t care what everyone else says about you I think you are top-hole old boy!
Thanks also to theDOOGooder.
A Happy Thanksgiving to one and all (apart from Fernando Forestieri of course!).
Paul feather he,would add a bit of experience to our young back four so I would take him back good defender does what he says on the,tin
I know he,is getting on but he would do a job in the, championship for sure.
Can we get him for Saturday he’s a free agent and Danny Batth is suspended.
They are talking about 28,000 crowd now for Saturday, we said, “drop the prices and Wolverhampton folk will turn up”
Here here stuwolf
