The last international break interrupted a flying start to the season.

This time, Wolves were more thankful for a breather.
Eight goals conceded and just two points accumulated from three bruising Championship encounters certainly wasn’t the return anyone hoped for.
Questionable defending and niggling injuries to key personnel is something we’ve not encountered under Kenny Jackett, so I’m sure the boss was appreciative of the respite to aid recovery and iron out glitches in the system.
That said, I thought we did more than enough to beat Wigan last time out, which would have put a much different slant on both our perceptions of the team and the table itself.
Millwall
Ten points from their first four matches suggested Millwall could be this season’s surprise package under Ian Holloway. But consistency has since eluded them and the Lions haven’t won since August.
They have shutout both Derby and Forest to claim well earned points, but got turned over by Birmingham and Huddersfield in-between. Like most teams in this league then, they’re tough to quantify.
Some familiar names litter their squad, like journeyman striker Ricardo Fuller, heavyweight defender Danny Shittu and Wolves academy graduate Scott Malone.
It will be a feisty game at The Den, as they always are and the extra spice of Kenny Jackett returning to his former club is sure to give the contest an added edge.
Wolves
Bakary Sako has been clocking up the air miles playing for Mali so there’s every chance he won’t start this one. If not, someone has to step up to fill a considerable void.

Michael Jacobs has barely had a kick this season, which is baffling when you consider the impact he made last term.
Kenny Jackett made a comment about the need to be physically strong in the Championship when referring to Jack Price and I wonder if Jacobs is being similarly singled out because of his slight stature?
Either way, if Sako doesn’t make it back, that would be my preferred XI with Lee Evans dropping back in at the expense of Tommy Rowe.
Predictions
As is the case with most draws, not many people picked up points after the Wigan game, but well done to the handful who did profit.
I’m going for an overdue away victory this time.
The Wolves setup should be well suited to getting results on the road and against a struggling Millwall side, this is a good opportunity to do just that.
2-1
Up The Wolves

I totally agree that the break was needed . If we’re to profit from it then the outcome should show better luck and balance in defence , and , a sharper edge up front .
So back to 1 – 0 to the wolves for me .
International break, eh?
Did anyone watch, and did anyone really care, or work up any enthusiasm for mind numbing “wins” against those perennial world beaters Dan Marino and Esteronia?
Nor me.
And who cares if John O’Shea ( another 0 ) scores on his hundredth appearance for the Irish?
I briefly glanced at the scores on the ol’ ‘puter in the week and did a double take.
Ward scored for the Irish!!!
But it was another Ward and another Irish!!
Phew, dreams of him coming back filled my nights for days after!
As for Millwall.
I put their fans down there with Leeds, the shit and Serbia/Albania fans.
Scum of the earth and do not deserve to have a football team.
Consequently, after a much needed two weeks off, our boys are going to kick the everlovin’ shit out of Millwall, give El Maestro reason to have a satisfyingly smug grin on his mush as we sail back up the M1 at the top of the league….or thereabouts.
On another note, it has started.
My campaign to convert 333 million Americans to give up “throwball” and embrace “sahccah’
My 6 year old grandson has no interest in baseball, throwball or basketball.
All he wants to do is play footie, as I have told him it is officially called, and he is in some tournament tomorrow, and has promised to wear his Wolves kit if allowed.
Come on me Babbies….literally!!
FOwb
‘Tis a Herculean task to promote the “beautiful game ” in the Colonies.
However someone with the attributes of a saint should not be discouraged.
With your customary wit and tact you will rise to the task .
Wolves are to be thrown into the “Lions Den” but Saint Kenny will stand firm, marshall his troops and repel the forces of South East London to emerge victorious.
One day your missionary zeal will be recognised and you will rejoice in the name Saint Clive!
Here endeth the lesson!
Saint Clive of Houston, it definitely has a nice ring to it. The Mother Teresa of footie.
As for Millwall (Clive’s comments are a tad harsh, yes they were a bunch of thugs and idiots once and then they didn’t deserve a team, but things have changed with club memberships etc, but they had too) I too hope we stuff them, but away form for us hasn’t been great. A battling draw
Looking forward to going to the game on Saturday. We should look to come out fighting a get a quick 1st goal. A win and 3 points for us.
I’m not expecting a high scoring affair but I’m hoping the defence will return to its old mean ways.
As you say a tough place to go. Stearman has reverted to type and the defence will only be sorted once we get a replacement for him.
I think KJ said that Tommy Rowe would be hard to shift, so we’ll see. We’ll do fine even if Sako is given a break after his international duties, hopefully Van le Parra will get a chance, with either Henry or Sagbo. Kj seems to have gone off Jacobs…………
Interesting times ahead,
I recall this time last season, slapdash sloppy play, jiggling the team around and rearranging positions but starting to look like players again, albeit they were still playing that hoof ball to the smallest guy on the pitch whilst finding that opposing team splitting pass from one side of the pitch to the other to set off a great run. But, in his defence after reading our Blog site, King Kenny changed it and we forged a piece of history with him, so he has a lot to thank us for.
Fast forward 12 Months, slapdash sloppy defending, jiggling with the striker role, starting to play like a team again pulling defecits back to salvage games, and all memories of the dreaded hoof ball put to bed.
Only positives in my World, we became great last year this year we shall be better.
Oh Clive as saviour of the Colonies I would be very interested to hear about your Missionary Position in the good ol US of A.
Anyway back tothe plot. 2-0 for me boys. COYW
🙂
Clives missionary position is self explanatory further discussion would provide mental images only removed by very expensive therapy. Please can we leave that alone now I’m begging you all.
I too have sent a missionary to our former colony in the shape of my son-in-law, who is currently preaching to the North West coastal aboriginals, with some success. Sadly he is a supporter of the Rooney tunes mob but every little helps. My daughter keeps getting into trouble for referring to their silly national game we call Rounders and they insist on calling Baseball.I can’t believe grown men participate in the stupid game.
As to this weekend I suspect we will struggle to break Millwall down and will hopefully contain them enough to grab a point.
Grown men, playing rounders, in their pajamas, spitting seeds and chewing baccy all over the place, and they have the nerve to call their cup final the “World Series”
Ha.
But, once you get into it, and stop comparing it to any other sport, it can be quite captivating and enjoyable.
Throwball, on the other hand, is downright boring.
Still, nothing beats footie.
Having never got past the constant ad. breaks on the TV – Are they actually allowed to kick the bloody ball or do the rules of ,” American Football,”forbid it?
It seems ages since the last game.
Going for a tight win! COYW!!!
Tight win here. Big Danny Batth with a towering header wins it late on.
I agree with your selection Thomas apart from Stearman. Bring Ricketts in to his position.
I have been predicting defeats all season when we have won…
I decided to be brave and go for wins against Huddersfield and Wigan….
So its probably all My fault along with Stearman’s
So this week normal service will be resumed….
A welcome return to defensive solidity
Millwall don’t score many, but then nor do we
UTW
Another tough game to call. Keep on predicting wins, and we go and lose or draw. So going to use my head rather than my heart. COYW.
Me too, but I think there’ll be goals, as Olly’s teams tend to be quite hung ho. It’ll be interesting to see if our defence have sorted themselves out, stem the tide and enable us to use our counter-attacking pace on the break.
I have nothing funny to say at all so it’s just a win for me
Back to business.. and it was great to see we can play better than Senior England can at the moment although they have stooped to being able to play the most dreadful football I have seen for ages inc Rooney…
So..KJ should tactically get this one right.. he knows Millwall so I trust he has a Rommel type tactic up his sleeve..
Pity about Sako..Jacobs has got to play or at least come off the bench..
VLP could do the business with Dicko with K mac dictating the middle…
It’s DB and Co ..Mr Stearman particularly.. that could make or break us …
I could still risk the snake pit and watch them..but perhaps we need all the advantages we can..I’m only half way through getting rid of my personal away match curse..lol
So we should win..!
COYW
Certainly glad to be worried about how Wolves will do again….
The ‘Internationals’ are increasingly meaningless and worse than the ‘World Series’ in L.A.
Not been convinced lately by our performances hence another draw for me 1-1….
Hope I’m wrong and we get 3 points.
We need a win, we’re due a win, i think we’ll win. Dammit I’ll go for a win.
Expecting a tough, tight one. A little break going our way would be appreciated.
Both Henry and Jackett back at the den. Should be a cracker
I’ve ‘eard Danny Dyers on standby for this one. I’m expecting Shittu to take early Batth! Too bad Jackett saw the writing on the ‘wall, Holloway’s no clown but he ain’t about to outsmart Kenny’s football factory.
I still need to be convinced that we are that good. The home loss to Huddersfield deflated me and the loss of points in the other games has not filled me with inspiration. Going for a 1-1 draw (hoping for better of course).
I hate to say it….but have a funny feeling we’re gonna lose this one.
Back to winning ways tomorrow for me. Rvlp and stearman to score
Henry to score on his return to the Den.
Tough game but we’ll squeeze a win. Bring Jacobs back in & like others I’m questioning Stearmans place right now.
Come on the Wolves.
Feels like ages since our last match. Hopefully we can get back on it at The Den.
We have done okay on our travels so far, apart from that unfortunate and lucky goal against us at Rotherham. But our results after a break have historically not been okay, so I am not filled with confidence that we will get what we want from this game. Having said that, my heart still rules my head and I believe that Stearman will have a blinder of a game to shut up his critics (that includes me) and that the final score will be:
Yahoo. Got my smartcard uploaded for the Boro game on Tuesday. And …. my ticket for the Leeds game up here is in the post.
Nice 6 points coming up.
UTW/FOWB
Morning Colonel,
Me and the good lady are in the upper teir, Row K seat 48 for Leeds. So if your’e in with us Wolves faithful we can grab a pint before kick off.
Onwards & Upwards
🙂
Row K, Seat 48. Dont know what mine is until I get my ticket through the post. Have taken note of where you are sat and will endeavour to make contact when I get there.
I need a point desperately…Woody Wolf’s jibe’s are becoming irritating.
With 9 predictions resulting in 0 points what do you expect mate!
As we have only lost twice so far in the league, accrued 5 wins and drawn 4, you must have been predicting we lose a lot!
Am a bit worried about this one but, I had a dream last night and will go with that one. I know it’s stupid but a guy with a number 9 on his back scored 3. Clarke probably won’t even get on the bench, but who cares if we win.
On the subjec t of missionaries to the colonies my wife once got into trouble in Seattle by calling their nbloved baseball rounders. Also nearly started the third world war on July 4th by telling some yank that they were only celebrating because we let them win the war of independance.
We badly need a win to keep us in touch.
I just don’t know.
Could go either way so going for a draw.
I’m surprised Jacobs has not played as much this season I think he offers more of a threat than Rowe plus he chipped in with a few vital goals last season I have been critical of Jackett but I think the team is a lot better balanced with Jacob’s, Van the man is ok but defenders can wide he up to easily plus he not as much of a goal scorer as Jacobs neither is Rowe or Savile.
No I’m surprised at Jacobs lack of games especially when we been struggling for goals.
Give him a run Kenny you won’t be disappointed.
I’ve gone for a draw I carnt remember the last time we won after international break and as the saying goes its a tough place to go to.
Welcome back everyone.
Before I add my witty, incisive and well informed comments to the blog I would like to say a couple of things.
Firstly, I’m very pleased to see that the International break has mellowed Clive.
Obviously the set of ‘How to be Politically correct’ tapes I sent him are working well.
Keep up the good work mate.
Secondly, I’m not one of those that slag the England team off for the sake of it.
It seems to be becoming a National sport.
I am an England supporter and, no matter how crap they may be, I support them whenever they play.
God knows (and so should Wolves fans) that’s what being a supporter is all about.
One of my most memorable days in sport was the day that England won the World Cup.
The fact that I listened to it on an old transistor radio with a flat battery while laying in the sand dunes between Tenby beach and the golf course with a nubile young thing (who certainly didn’t have a flat battery) was only part of the reason.
England have been crap for some time now, but I have certainly seen an improvement over the last couple of games. They have actually started to pass the ball around – and most of the time to a team mate.
A bit like a team we are all familiar with.
They are starting to win games even when they aren’t playing particularly well.
A bit like a team we are all familiar with.
The main trouble is that they don’t put their chances away.
A bit like…. well, I think you know where I’m coming from.
I can see an improvement, but it’s definitely a work in progress.
England might never win another trophy in my lifetime. Does that mean I should start supporting Germany?
“Sich zum Teufel scheren!!”
I don’t necessarily expect anyone to agree with me, but that’s my opinion and I’m sticking with it.
Now to my witty, incisive and well informed comments on the Milwall game.
Great to be back. Let’s stuff those Milwall morons!
I’m in the Millwall end so no goals will suit me perfectly from a personal safety perspective.
Finsbury,
As they say in the Norff Bank,
Jast Sit Douwn Shattt up, n you’ll be alwright Cocker.
🙂
Not got the confidence to predict the clean sheets like last season. DB and Stearman in particular have been a bit wobbly recently.
I’m expecting the rest and recuperation to have ironed out any niggles and a comfortable wolves win.
Squeeze a win here.
Back to winning ways
With Stearman’s lack of form is it time to bring Kourtney Hause back from his loan
to give us a comedy Batth Hause CB pairing?
Well it might amuse some older, possibly german fans.
Although the breaks never tend to favour us, this one may well have been timed better with our recent run of poor form, and a few niggly injuries in the camp.
I fell King Kenny will have taken full advantage of the situation and shored things up a little.
A first return to his previous employers will possibly stir up some of the locals, but with a point to prove, Kenny and his boys will be as determined as ever to bring back 3 points to Luverly Wolverhamperton.
An early one from Dicko, and RVLP to finish the job off.
Lions 2, Wolves 3. Ian Holloway’s sides are always good value. I expect us to be back to winning form but they will put in a strong shift in an entertaining game. I’m not too disheartened about our recent form, as every side in this division is capable of losing against lower clubs. I reckon we’re developing into the best team in the Championship.
Both teams on poor-ish runs before the break, so both will have been putting the hours in to sort things out. But I’ve a feeling we can nick this one.
A tough game, but I expect us to pull through. Stears will be OK, Henry in agaist his old club.
Gut instinct: We’ll see a much improved Wolves team in this particular game.
Comfortable win. Clean sheet.
To us, the poor sod living on the wrong end of The English Channel (?? ???? in Bulgarian, nice letters, eh?), Millwall has always been known for their dumb-ass fans and not for being a proper football club. Same with you, oh Englanders, I suppose?
Cheers!
Vladimir, Strava, Kaksi.
Looks like this Blog Site doesn’t like the Cyrillic alphabet, I question the spelling myself, (question – marks)
Dohhhh it was worth a try, well that’s my attempt at a laugh anyway.
Lekanosh, Divishdana.
🙂
Hey StuWolf, seems like my attempt at entertaining the masses with couple odd-looking letters has failed miserably. Just looked at my crystal ball, and I’m relieved to say my failure is nothing compared to the one Millwall will provide to their “fans” today. Oh, well – they don’t care, do they?
Cheers!
Rampant! No other word for it. We will humiliate Millwall. Anything less is unacceptable.
Onwards & Upwards
Another 60% possession I reckon, but I’ll be happy with a point. Still remember the Doog being pestered at the Den all those years ago, still not forgiven those pesky Londoners.
Here’s hoping for a return to that solid defense we all know and love!
I’m eager to get back to it, and I hope the boys are too. It’s about time we got another win and a clean sheet and I think this is as ripe an opportunity we’re gonna get (with the ‘Boro game just round the corner)
UTW!
Wolves Ay We !!!!!
Been a while since I got a win right! Hope tomorrow is the day for it
Tough place to go and after the recent jitters at the back I can’t see us getting more than a point.
Terrifying memories of seeing Wolves draw 1-1 at the Den in the 60″s when the Doog was attacked by a moronic pitch invader.
We had just moved down from Wolverhampton and I was well aware of Millwall’s reputation and my Black Country accent.Luckily the only problem I faced was asking for a cheese ‘cob’ in a local shop. The shop assistants took the piss a bit but I managed to escape the shop with my lunch and only an adolescent red face to show for it..Happy days.
A Derby fan tells me they just parked the bus there a couple of weeks ago and they, Derby, weren’t good enough to break them down. We have the skill to do that, but what about getting it in the net? Equally, they should be more open at home. A visit to the Den is always nerve-wracking and they might just raise their game against KJ, but there’s nothing in their recent record to suggest that being justified so I’ll go for a narrow win.
Two other dimensions – I hadn’t cottoned on to Andy Keogh going to Perth, so the ex-player hoodoo I was expecting with him at least won’t apply (I suppose we can expect the obvious from Shittu). And I’ve seen mention of Millwall giving KJ stick for walking out on them…..in fact, he resigned after a very reasonable period, having developed them and succeeded with them and leaving them time to recruit (not to mention encouraging a bit of a nutter to go and manage them!). Not that any of that will impress the Millwall fans much, I guess!
It would be nice to think of a win, but I’m not quite that confident – hence the draw.
What a place to visit – horrible!
Hope the rest has done us good, esp.in defence, Stearman needed rest more than most. As much as we all like Batth, he’s no Captain, just yet. We have been lacking leadership when going behind recently.
I think Sako will be on the bench and may need to come on in 2nd half to win this game. I’m not convinced Dicko is fit either – hope I’m wrong because replacements are plain woeful.
come on me babies
utw
I would think this could be just the right game at the right time for KJ and his boys to get back on track.
UTW
Seems an age since we played, hopefully we can kick start our season again and a win will relieve some of the pressure before the midweek match.
I would start Jacobs and leave Sako until the 2nd half if needed.
Horrible ground and fans but they don’t care. I’ve been there twice and vowed to never go again. Let’s hope some of our players don’t get the racist abuse I fear they will get and come through to record a much needed win.
Luvly jubbly dahn the den.
INO KENNY WE TRUST
Time to get the show back on the road. Hopefully the break as given the defence time to re group
No idea to be honest
Ironically, I preferred the old den to the new den. The away terrace at the old den had a big drop that separated us from those south east London animals. Then when the match was over it was just a couple of minutes away from the old Kent road and the safety of anonymity amongst the locals going about their non footballing business. The new den means no protection in the ground then half a mile walk through their manor to relative safety of the train station. The last time I was there it was Friday night match and we were kept back for an hour whilst the ob cleared the streets. Even then someone still took a half ender on the way down to the train when we were finally let out at nearly 11pm! Prior to that , a few years before the other memory of the new den was getting chucked out for colourful language midway through the first half. When I was frog marched into the police porttacabin, I as greeted by a grinning copper and a makeshift cell holding about half a dozen millwall nutters who proceeded to slang me of big time in cockney when they realised I was wolves. I was shitting myself big time! The copper still grinning said to me that it was a long journey back to wolvo for just 20 minutes of football only for me to wipe that smarmy grin off his face when I told him I lived in tooting! After being let out the ground I went to the boozer across the road and sank a few pints and wiped the floor with everyone on the pool table. The landlord was getting more and more edgy with each game I won because it was getting closer and closer to full ti.e and I was making it obvious I was gold n black wolf and his boozer was soon gonna be packed full of blue lions! I guess I finally got the message cos I ended up alive in Clapham a few hours later supping more beer on battersea rise! Mind you I still ended up leaving battersea nic at 4am! What a night!
Not sure about this one. We often don’t do well after a break, and Millwall will rise up to the task for this one cos of Jackett connection … let’s see … will be thrilled if we win.
Go Wolves!
Got a bad feeling about this one…
Clean sheet this weekend. 3 points please..
A quick prediction of a Wolves 2 nil away win.
Up the Wolves. ..
Comfortable win! I hope!
KJ gets his tactics spot on.
Ollie will have that ship running smoothly at Millwall.
A point will be a good one away from home.
Come on me babbies
Hope the break has given us a breather and we can restart refreshed and raring to go.
I’m hoping Kenny has taken the defence to one side and will get them back to keeping a clean sheet. Everything I read says they have been doing a lot of 11 v 11 training and I imagine this has been as much about focusing the defence, possibly more than Sagbo and the trialists.
Also feeling like Saville and MacDonald are due a good game after a couple of lacklustre performances.
I feel a rebound in fortunes in this game…

Fingers crossed this will be streamed
Just be careful what you click on !
Time for a win.
Wolves 1 Millwall 0
Because I said so. So there!
Ever the optimist – c’mon you Wolves.
I’ll opt for a comprehensive victory!
What a rare treat, I actually have a spare 10 minutes in which I can write some Wolves based musings. Are you sitting comfortably? Good, then I’ll begin.
Firstly: The Millwall thugs.
In the gospel according to King Kenny, he said that most of the Millwall fans are good people, and the wankers only come out to play (and spoil the day) on the big occasion. As there is no bigger occasion in football than a Wolves game we should maybe fear the worst, but I suspect the saaaaf laaaandon nobheads probably won’t care about this fixture as much as us, so stand down those riot police!
Secondly: The game.
If our glorious leader has successfully used the break to remind his players of the KJ way of playing football then we surely have nothing to fear. A clean sheet, plenty of possession and a couple of rapier quick breaks will see us comfortably home, 2-0. That’s what I think anyway.
Finally: Thanks (again) Bully.
Steve Bull I owe you a pint mate. Last night one of my tables handed me the key to the little box with their card in which they’d left at the bar (it’s a bizarre system, but it works), and their key was number 9. I automatically said “oh, number 9, Steve Bull”, as in my head these two things are inseparably intertwined, and suddenly these guys went from pretty much ignoring me and chatting business with each other (which they had been doing all night), to accusing me of looking too young to remember Steve Bull. Turns out one is a tractor boy, and the other a magpie; so between Mad Mick, SEB and January 1st 1990 we had plenty to talk about.
Some cheap shots were fired, but it was all friendly, and they then left me a £15 tip. Which was nice. So cheers Bully! Come to Bristol and I’ll get you an ale lad.
UTW
About time we won away.
I’m predicting a high’ish scoring game with a Millwall sending off. All in the life of a Millwall fan eh?
Wolves cruising to a classy win.
What a tight division. Anything can happen
Difficult one to call this. Probably be tight. 2-1 to us. Come on me babbies!!
Hoping for a win but think it will be a draw.
Let’s get some momentum going.
COYW
Tight draw. Late goals
Time for a 3 pointer!
Just made it!!!!
What the hell just happened? 3-0 at 66 mins. I’m utterly p*ssed off.
Our defence have a lot of making up to do.
Grr.
[Apologises for negativity]
Well, Clive from Houston got the total number of goals right!!
On seeing it was 3-0 on the E&S live updates, I turned away thinking that’s wrapped up then, for once a beneficial international break. What seemed like only 5 mins later, BBC 5 Live are saying it’s now 3-3 at Millwall!
Checking the line-ups before kick-off, I thought ours looked a bit odd. Who played on the left of the back line? What’s Ricketts done wrong? On the face of it, we’re crying out for his experienced head. Looking forward to seeing the reports.
That is fucking criminal again another fucking balls up after 2 weeks off they want fuckin waste,I’m sorry but that’s unforgivable……………I’ll continue this later….I think that’s best..!
Just back from Millwall,
Back four was Rowe, Ebanks landell left, Bhatt and Doherty right.
Looked feckin lost then 8 minutes extra time, Wolves started to play again when Stearman came on. Me thinks this was a Tinker too far Kenny. Millwall took Ebanks Landell to bits late in second half, beckford was the difference for Millwall.
Not good enough Wolves, Shite defending, your’e standing to far off and letting them run at you with the obvious end result a disaster.
Ah well, another point away from home, but that’s all.
🙁
Bah feckin Humbug.
Beckford???? Where did that come from, sorry guys. FULLER, suppose it was 4 hours on the coach there and back, they say, “the brain will only stand what the arse can endure” both were very nunb.
That is the shortest interview that I can recall KJ giving and he is definitely pissed. Judging by his reaction, I think he is feeling it more than the supporters right now.
Perspective… Norwich & Forest had bad days at the officer too. Watford are top but they are on a manager merry go round that surely must have the players wondering what’s going on. They are playing for their new manager(s), just like Notlob & Cardiff, so I’m expecting the wheels to come off their run shortly.
Need to get a win against Middlesbrough as that is a 6 pointer!
Still open at the top with everyone beating everyone else. No clear favourites and even though we were 3 nil up, we do not have a right to the points.
We need to be around where we are now around xmas, attract a few quality signings and make that final push.
I have had a right mardy face on me all afternoon/ evening but a wake up call was required. As I understand it, we were not the bossing team for a change and when we were 3-0 up the score was flattering, if we had have won the game, it would have papered over the cracks.
I have been generally the optimist so far this season, however letting in 11 goals in the last few games is cause for concern. I agree that the tinkering may have been a little too much with the defence (just like in the cup), the players did not know each other’s game.
Back to basics, pick the team that started the season so well and then tweak it slightly as each game evolves. Bring back “Wolves 1-0″… I so miss saying that!
Oh and it could have been a worse day… Could be a Sunderland fan right now.
“Mardy face” there’s a blast from the past.
2000+ Wolves fans came out of the ground with faces that looked like “a Bulldog chewin a wasp.”
Is it me or does this season seem to be mirroring last season at this point. Tweak, Tinker, Teawk, Tinker.
🙁
For third goal Kenny livid the referee didnt give the sub time to get into postion but seems a very odd change to make at that time unless landell injured ?
Colin.
Landell was being turned inside out at that point and he looked exhausted, he had a good first half and into the second, but when Fuller came on it was game over at that point for the lad. if I live to be a 100, it will always baffle me as to why Kenny brought Leon mark 2 on? We had our best spell in the last 10 minutes and he looked like a West Brom fan that has stepped into the Goal post pub on a Saturday fully kitted. If Sagbo is the answer, then I’m afraid it’s a stupid feckin question.
Thanks StuWolf the support sounded really loud and proud.
Sagbo the answer to a feckin stupid question… That is a quote and half!
I heard we were 3-0 up… better than alcohol..I heard were were drawing and nearly turned the car over..KJs
Interview ‘we have a problem’ fucking right we do..to be cont….
All my life Iv’e had the shitty end of the stick, Kenny Jackett came along and it was diffeent I now had the roses.
Saturday, last few minutes of normal time and a throw in, Kenny finally see’s sense and brings back Stearman, he gets three or four metres on the pitch and ref blows to continue the game. Bang whallop a goal with Stearman still well out of the position he would have been in. (I bet he’ll still get the blame for it) I’m back holding the shitty stick.
Millwall fans when Sako scores run down to the 1 foot high fence and try to get to him and the ref, coppers do Feck all, absolutely feck all. We had sunk our fangs into the Millwall fans and silenced them, we’re 3-0 up, they score three goals and we get- 3 nil and you F’d it up, 3 nil and you F’d it up. 2000+ of us now holding the shitty stick.
4 minutes to go, 3-3, Edwards breaks up ANOTHER attack and taps the ball to Evans who sets off on a run for home. Williams all but breaks his pelvis and justly accepts his red card, Wolves robbed again.
You know what, I’m pissed off with this shitty stick.
Why oh why are we giving teams so much sight of the ball, law of Physics or Aerodynamics (I’m not sure, but I think someone will put me right) you can’t cross a ball for someone to score if you’ve got no space to do so. Get up close and starve them of the opportunity to send balls in. i’m confused.com at the moment.
🙁
Cheer up Stu at least you got home..as with those loonies at Millwall win loose or draw they still want to have you…
I keep saying we need to buy 2 players and just hope it won’t be with Sakos £10M . ..he’s getting better ..
