If it’s a statement you wanted, Wolves did not disappoint.
With social media awash with theories about filling a Matt Doherty shaped void, the club announces a sensational swoop for one of Europe’s most promising young strikers.

It’s a club record move not a single media outlet got wind of prior to Saturday afternoon. Quite remarkable.
I can’t comment on Fabio Silva’s capabilities because I’ve never heard of him.
But then again, I’d never heard of Raul Jimenez either. I couldn’t have picked Diogo Jota out of a lineup and the same applies to Ruben Neves, Willy Boly and several others.
Apologies to you Football Manager aficionados and boffins of the European game.
Yet it’s my total ignorance (coupled with articles like this) that makes our £35 million capture all the more exciting.
Fosun’s track record in the market – with the obvious exception of the panic buys from that first season – is largely unblemished. Recruits have either made the grade or been shuffled along.
Wolves know what they want and what they expect, so when they do make a move, you can feel confident it’s with a high degree of calculation.
Where once ‘big fees for foreign players I’ve never heard of’ used to inspire dread, it’s now my preferred criteria for any new recruit.
It suggests we’re stealing a march on the competition, seeing value where others don’t and challenging pre-conceived ideas about how to build an elite club team.
£35.6 million for a player whose hardly played senior football might look like an all-in move, but it probably isn’t.
They’ll believe he can make a major impact, but if he doesn’t, they’ll have an exit strategy in the pipeline – another handy benefit of being in bed with the world’s most famous super agent.
This is how Wolves do business.
When we met with Kevin Thelwell two years ago, he underlined the fact that the club’s willingness to pay the going rate for players other English clubs wouldn’t was a major part of their success.
Fulham had enquired about Willy Boly for instance, but thought the fee was too high. Likewise Jota and Neves were both openly available to anyone who’d pay the fees, but again, only Wolves were prepared to take a chance on young, unproven talent.
We no longer feast on the corpses of relegated sides or ask the ‘big six’ to borrow one of their young bucks for a few months. It’s a sign of the times and a sign of intent. Long may it continue.
And just to keep you guessing, the arrival of Marcal could not be more different – a nominal fee for a proven Champions League performer.
It’s interesting, it’s different to what most other clubs in the league are doing in the market and reminds us that Wolves, in every sense, are making moves.

Good article Thomas and a good bit of business Silva at eighteen can only get better and Macal a CL player. And according to reports going to sign a midfielder on loan today but don’t give a name if true one or two others and were set.
Jordan Sancho 120m @20 35 m for 18yr old seems a good deal if he reaches his potential
So good to see fosun putting everyone’s jitters to bed with regards to investment under such an anti Chinese political climate and in doing so , making people feel better that Nuno is getting what he needs , just need him to sign a new contract and for the grounds to reopen so as we can show these new recruits what it’s like to play in front of our incredible support
C’mon you mighty Wolves !
Wolves are wrong-footing everyone: the media, opposing teams and even Wolves’ fans!
I can only put it down to Chinese inscrutability. In financial circles there is supposed to be Chinese walls within stockbroking firms to stop valuable takeover information leaking from one department to another. Well I’m all for it at Wolves. Let’s do it on the pitch as well.
Great article that couldn’t of put it better onwards and upwards COYW
At last!
I’ve been SOOOO worried!
Now I know why our new away kit looks like it does.
It was designed to appeal to the young and hip dudes.
And it’s worked.
We’ve landed a VERY young and seemingly EXTREMELY hip dude.
Although his hairstyle is very similar to mine when I was a young and hip(ish) dude back in the days of The Doog.
What a statement from Fosun. £35 million for a young tyro who has been missed by all the other big clubs – just like Ruben, Raul, Diogo, Willy et al.
And then we do it again with the bargain basement buy of the proven performer, Marcal – not unlike the peanuts we paid for Jao.
It seems that we don’t need Dalrymple or Thelwell.
I, like Bilko, will rest easier of an evening, supping a glass of Remy, next to the fragrant PMDG’er, after these two additions to the pack.
COYW!
You will be excited, nay ecstatic, to learn I have just paid the ginormous sum of $ 100.00 for my new, away top, with Senor Silva’s name emblazoned on the back!
Young and hip I am!!
Young, hip… and deluded you am!
Excuse my ignorance DG, but what’s a ‘tyro’?
Ignorance excused WS.
‘Tyro’ means a beginner or novice.
The usual British way of spelling it is ‘tiro’.
I put the American spelling in my post so that Clive could understand.
Actually I accidentally misspelt it and, because there is no longer an edit button, couldn’t change it.
“And I would have gotten away with it, too, if it weren’t for you meddling kids!”
“The course completed, they’ll earn the title of tiro or beginner gladiator.”
Great use of the word, which I never heard of either until I just googled it.
I hope he does reach his billing as the new Reynaldo it’s a lot of money to pay for a unproven striker.
I’ve looked at his video’s and he is a good finisher he scores tap ins and score from outside the box plus he seems decent in the air. The big test will come when he comes up against seasoned Premier League defences saying that he’s young and fearless may be the back room staf will bulk him up a bit to withstand the physical side of the game.
He’s a unknown quantity which isn’t a bad thing I hope Nuno doesn’t leave him kicking his heels on the bench to long he will want to get on and show what he can do he will be eager to play as all young players are.
Wish him all the best .
Top draw post Thomas you have said it all, an elderly friend said to me yesterday, you lot kept that quiet never heard of him reminds me of when this George Best bloke came on the scene nobody knew who he was.
Wonderful Wolves
Fantastic Fosun.
From what I read, Porto had to sell some players due to FFP and the manager wanted to sell prospects instead of established players.
This is how Wolves operate – Mendes makes them aware, if they are not already, of these situations and then brokers a deal below value.
Bit difficult to say that £35m is below value, Tim.
What warms the cockles of my cockles is the way our new owners operate, how they get on with business in their own sweet way and strike with the kung fu prowess of a crouching tiger.
Worries…
We weren’t buying, time was running out.
Nuno hasn’t signed (My one and only worry)
FFP had been imposed on us.
Selling that Irish player what’s his face.
China playing silly beggars with the rest of the world.
Fosun took a massive hit in the Stock market over Thomas Cook.
Todays news and this blog kinda kicks that shite into touch.
Our owner reputed to be the richest club owner in the PL.
Fosun have gone back into the market today to acquire Thomas Cook and make it an on-line travel agency.
Wolves acquire Fabio Silva and Fernando Marcal.
Talk of the alleged incoming midfielder (now possibly during the week rather than today according to some sources)
We now have cover for Jonny, also Neto has played on the right in place of that Irish player we sold.
Fact.
Fosun did not take a huge hit on the Stock market over TC, they dumped loads of shares prior to the collapse, they let someone else restructure the TC staff (Hays travel) and now want to buy the TC name at a some what greatly reduced price, not £900m.
Let’s also not forget, that Fosun are a medical based company strangely enough producing PPE, so when the Covid19 took hold they were one of the companies that profited from the lack of PPE supplies around the globe. In the first couple of months they posted quarterly profits up a few billion.
So all is not so glum in the camp now, I have no doubt In my mind they will break this transfer record again in the next 4 weeks, we are not done. But, we do have enough players to get us over the line until the transfer window closes.
Sheff Utd posted that we would struggle In our first game against them due to lack of pre-season training, I wonder what Chris Wilder is saying now.?
Jota and Silva.
Silva and Jimenez.
Jota, Silva and Jimenez.
Jota, Silva and Podence.
It’s all looking a bit different up front now, can you imagine Jota producing one two touches like he did against Croatia with Silva if he’s half as good as the video shows.
Oh yes, another observation from the video. Some of those games were played at groundsin Scotland, so before other pundits chip in, yes he can play in the winter in GB on a cold shitty Thursday night.
So please Nuno, put pen to paper and calm my troubled mind, let’s get at em and do better than last year. We have a years rest now compared to the merry go round we’ve been on since you arrived. Play the newbies and kids against Stoke, try a good FA Cup run, but concentrate on PL top to get into the CL.
Disclaimer,
These are my thoughts and dreams, they do not reflect the thoughts and facts of the authors of this blog.
But.
I dare to dream…
I was in JD Sports the weekend spotted new home shirt looks lot better in flesh I did notice there is no spooner on the arm anyone know why….!
I have ordered it on line with badges and number.
The dream is back on after a few sleepless weeks. Fosun were plotting this all along, we should have known. I suspect that they’re not above pleading poverty to get the deal they want for Wolves. A few Chinese whispers have no doubt been whispered into gullible ears. Fosun seem a world apart to other PL owners. You can definitely sense that, for example, Liverpool need to sell to buy, they almost spell it out. Fosun play poker instead but never say, all in. Last season I thought ‘best of the rest’ would be the pinnacle of our ambitions for a few years, but Fosun are aiming higher now.
Thomas, as always thank you for your post. One question though. As I have previously said, I have been a happy clapper in that I believed that all those players who have left have, ultimately, been replaced with higher calibre players, so with that factor in mind, are you still lamenting the loss of Nenad Milijas?
I never doubted our current management and that will continue, and hope that when they leave, because they will at sometime leave, that they ensure what we are enjoying continues.
I am loving this phase of supporting the Wolves. Absolutely loving it.
As far as Marçal goes, he is just an inexpensive stop-gap to tide us over until Jonny is back. He can also cover for Saisse.
I doubt we would have bought him if Jonny was not injured.
Still a good move if he is still able to play at that level but let’s not get too carried away with the signing.
PS: I hope he proves me wrong and scores and assists on a lot of goals.
I think, and I hope, you underestimate him, Tim.
Also, I wish Marçal would stop talking about wanting to win the Championship.
Tim he played in the Lyon team that knocked Man City out of the CL and was rated in the French press one of their best players. So not to be underrated. I’m hopeful he’ll be more than temporary cover.
Why would he need to score lots of goals to prove you wrong? Jonny doesn’t. Let’s give the player a chance before judging him.
The Silva deal came completely out of left field. No advanced warning. No media speculation. The signing simply presented as ” fait accompli “. Other interested parties were left flat footed, and unable to respond.
That said, I believe that the deal for Marcal deserves equal praise. For a very low spend we have acquired a defender of proven high quality to bolster a position in which we were weak. Again, the deal came to our notice only when it had been finalized, Mr Shi being prepared to leave a raft of false rumors in place , whilst he quietly got on with it and secured what appears to be an outright bargain
This is surely the way business can be done to maximum effect.
Really good article Thomas and nice to read some positive comments in the follow up.
I would say that, given the backing Nuno is receiving from our esteemed owners, it would seem to me unlikely in the extreme that he would head off to pastures new. He has everything any manager could want here at the Mol’.
Wealthy, forward looking owners. A strong squad, getting stronger by the season. His own backroom staff. The unrivalled adulation of the fans. And now, after three phenomenal, action packed years of achievement and advancement, he’s rewriting our history books and building a legacy which few will ever equal.
Fantastic place to be a manager. Wonderful days to be a fan.
Much gratitude to our Chinese owners for giving me an experience I thought only ever happened to others.
The 7 stages of Wolves fandom…
1 – we’ve sold Doherty, wtf!!!??
2 – he’s old anyway, and he can’t defend, we have to move forward as a club, it worked out fine when Douglas/Cav/Costa were moved on
3 – signing due any day now
4 – we were in league one once… shut up, stop criticising Fosun, we’ll be fine
5 – no signings yet wtf!!!???
6 – *Googles Fabio Silva*
7 – Told you Fosun have a plan, I was the only fan who wasn’t pant-wetting on twitter
Repeat
The majority on here don’t knock Fosun, this blog is a different class.
Proper Wolves lads.
Advise keep off Twatter.
Hear hear, Wimborne.
Twat
Didn’t mean wombourne by the way
Didn’t think you did for one moment Mr Cheeseburger you are one of The Proper Wolves Lads, you no doubt used to frequent the George and Exchange pubs in the town before we were a city.
Bin there like yo mate. Shit holes on a tuesday night. Colchester. Preston . Ipswich . Grimsby. Etc. The knob heads on twitter like the knob head earlier on here. They know f**k all . Wolves ay we.
I see that Foden and Greenwood have been the latest pair of complete plonkers to break the Covid rules while with England.
I was going to launch into a rant about the stupidity of some people who have the World at their feet but have the common sense of a Lemming…
…but I really can’t be arsed.
The biggest surprise is that Grealish wasn’t with them.
As a previous rule breaker, Southgate chained him to his bedstead before tucking him in and reading his bed time story.
I thought he had tripped over a slightly raised carpet and was awarded 6.0 and a trophy for the theatrical dive. It was the first trophy he had ever won so he took it to an early bed with him.
‘we were in league 1 once ” . I suspect the ‘fans’ who don’t like that being said probably weren’t there. We were also in division 4 so what is the problem with saying where we have come from? The last 2 seasons have seen Wolves achieve the greatest success since the 1950’s. This is down to significant investment by the owners. If you dont think it’s good enough go and support Man utd.
Heard this from a mate today and it’s just been posted on Sky Sports.
It may have some mileage in it.
Another one I won’t be able to pronounce correctly….
Yes – nice summing up Cheese. I have n’t forgotten being on The Southbank watching Wolves in Division 4. Nor have I forgotten the glorious days of the fifties when I stood in the Cowshed. And feel privileged to have been a STH over the last three years. I truly believe it’s going to get better and better.
Settling down with a beer. Got my Czech Republic shirt on. Give the jocks a good thrashing. Soz stu.
Behave boy, the youngsters are beating you before the ball is kicked.
Icelandic girls, what’s that all about.
We played absolute shite and still won.
Yeah I started off in sanctimonious mood begrudging another example of this young spoiled generation of footballers.
Then for a moment wondered what I would do at 19 if a couple of Icelandic girls wanted to meet up.
Then immediately went and had a cold shower and re-adopted the begrudging approach
Jealousy is an uncomfortable mindset
Beyond ridiculous. Vitor Ferreira (Vitinha) from Porto.
Vitinha and Estevez big rumour next at the golden palace. Both Portuguese of course. No probs. Arsenal under Whenger were almost entirely French.
Its all right for you Wolf’s that live outside the city but I hate all these Portuguese and Portuguese speaking signings. You can’t get a pastel del nata anywhere anymore for love nor money!
Sorry about the schoolboy punctuation, Ped Ant. Unable to edit!
And there’s been a run on Peri Peri sauce too.
Some humble pie being eaten in some quarters too!
Conor will wonder where he is when he returns.
Meanwhile, some of the other teams around us are strengthening for the upcoming season, not 2023/2024.
Are we going to try for Europe next season?
Asking for a friend.
So your friend’s a baggie?
You have a friend????
Extremely heartened to see some new faces in, especially after the concerns I listed previously. For context, no one was knocking the club on here – just asking questions to which we’ve had resounding answers.
Hold my hands up – FOSUN are stepping up to invest in the squad.
Vitinha adds legs in the middle, Marcal is useful LWB/LCB cover, Silva will be a valuable understudy to Jimenez, and the interchangeable 4 of Podence/Neto/Traore/Jota is still as good as any forward line at our level.
Seems we’ve learned the lesson of Cutrone and decided that a Jimenez understudy needs to be a young talent to learn from him, not compete with him.
A new contract for Nuno and a RWB and I’d say that’s a good summer, and the eyebrows are raised no longer!
Cutrone wasn’t competition. That’s why he was sent packing.
With such a choice up front, I’m trying t figure out what would be my fav. and decided I would love to see Silva and Jimenez, with Podence just behind them. If only we can get Traore up to speed at RWB. Oh my goodness, still leaves Jota and Neto on the bench for the last 20 mins. Mind you I would not be surprised if silly money came in for Traore , that the club would release him.
Whatever the case, looks like it’s going to be another exciting season.
I would love to see Nuno take the Mattress Busby approach and play all the strikers at once!
Don’t matter how many you let in, just as long as you score more!
And for you young ‘uns on here, Mattress Busby was the manager of, in my opinion, the greatest Manchester United side of all time.
Closet red?
Some comments are not worth lowering oneself to answer.
I’m sure brother Ped was just jesting in order to get the expected reaction.
In my Humble opinion only,
Wolves would not sell that Irish bloke that used to play for us without a replacement in mind.
Talk is now of Vinagre departing with the favourites being Porto, who strangely enough are selling players to offset their FFP problems.
So, why would they then spend money on buying Vinagre? well therein lies the twist.
Again, my opinion only,
Wolves have been linked (according to Matt the Irish bloke’s mate) with Alex Telles for a while. Who does he play for? Strangely enough Porto. So instead of laying out cash they could bag Vinagre and we could get Telles.
This is pure speculation on my part, but I do like the thought of a ready made RWB coming in If we are to lose Vinagre.
There must be a modicum of truth somewhere in that lot, as David Moyes has come out and said, ” he would love to have Vinagre if he were available”.
All the conspiracy theorists can back off, this is my wish and thoughts to solving a RWB shortage with an upgrade.
Over to you Fosun.
Makes a lot of sense although I suspect there maybe some cash going porto”s way as well as part of the deal to help ease their ffp situation
Remember, it’s only my thoughts and ramblings, there’s been no whispers or nods come our way.
If we give them some cash for Telles and they get Vinagre cheap that’s good business for both clubs, thank you very much Mr Mendes.
There are rumours that Jorge Mendes is offering Adama to Juve for €70 million.
Why is he doing that? Does he have Jeff’s instructions to do that? Are Wolves actively trying to sell him?
Tim with respect, can’t see it Wolves already put a price tag of 100 million on him, when Liverpool were rumoured which again was probably rubbish to be interested.
True, But where Mendes is involved, the numbers tend to be lower.
Just seen that Conor is getting his England debut ! Absolutely magic do us proud lad
Looking forward to Monday evenings game v Sheffield Utd..
So I thought I’d check the referee …
Thank you PL referees association for giving us ….
MIKE DEAN… yeah
That’s a last minute penalty then…..
Just saying…!
Just confirmed, all 28 matches in Sept to be shown live, Wolves Sheff Utd on the Monday is on Sky Pick.
Man City game on Sky As originally decided.
Well played Conor!
It brought a little tear to my eye to see his interview on Sky after the match.
He was so proud.
And so was I.
Nice one Doog same in our household.
I too was proud to see the captain of my beloved Wolves play for England.
Such a pity that the ten donkeys on the pitch with him are light years behind his club compatriots.
Especially Dier.
And slab faced McGuire to come back, maybe, with the turning circle of an oil tanker.
I watched the first half, then my attention was drawn to the paint on my wall, recently applied, drying faster.
Connor, your debut was good, but that word cannot be applied to anyone else in the team, or the management team.
Roll on Monday
Just shows Clive our Conor is in a different class and coached daily by the best.
Very true Dorset. I like Gareth Southgate and he should take note of rugby where coaches don’t hesitate to take support from others. England looked totally disorganised with the defensive set up last night-GS should invite Nuno to take coaching sessions to embed the organisation required, with Conor at the beating heart.
Bang on Woodend.
Jeff Shi has surely been aware for a considerable length time how vital Nuno and his team are to the acclimatisation and development of new and expensive arrivals such as Fabio Silva. For me then, it is inconceivable that he hadn’t already discussed a new contract with Nuno before the recent large investment and that Nuno hadn’t already given his word on it. I believe Nuno to be a man of integrity for whom his word is as good as his bond and hence the lack of urgency in putting pen to paper. So, I for one won’t be losing any sleep over that matter.
Secondly, how good it was to see Conor Coady perform so well for England last night. How important it is for Wolves to have a captain who exudes natural enthusiasm and encouragement on and off the pitch. England captain before too long?
Certainly a better bet as a captain and role model than the present incumbent.
I read that Coady is the 36th Wolves man to represent England.
And the first to start since Bully way back when.
Let’s hope his first cap is the first of many.
Sorry Doog, Matt Jarvis was the last Wolves player to get an England Cap,about nine years ago. Lets Conor gets more than Jarvis. Love reading your posts Doog, keep up the good work.
Sorry to do the Ped Ant I told you so thing, Witters, but Matt Jarvis got his one and only cap as a sub in a friendly against Ghana, he didn’t start.
Once again, sorry, don’t bash me when you see me next!!
No bashing from me on this site Clive, if I had read Doogs post properly, l wouldn’t have made an utterance Clive. Roll on Monday.
I did my research before I made the statement Witley.
I had a feeling I might get picked up on it.
That’s a pint you owe me.
Two pints for not reading your post properly.
Can I be adjudicator…
Yes I hear you say …
That another pint for me too Whitley my boy ….
And can I check the adjudication is legal. For a pint too.
And beer for me coz I’m better looking and more modester than all of y’all!!
Hi Whitley and Doog can you help wasn’t Jarvis a winger if so who was the last defender to get an England call up would it be as far back as Ron Flowers.
Jarvis was a very good winger, but have no idea who was the last defender, to long ago.
Hi Dorset.
I reckon it might be Emlyn Hughes.
Didn’t he play a couple of times for England after he came to us?
Previous to that, Ron Flowers.
Hi Doog think you could be right either way a hell of along time brilliant isn’t it.
Conor Coady interview.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3hdgzEN18lk
Since I know Nuno or some other high ranking Wolves person reads this, I will make a suggestion to try to get us some easy points this upcoming season.
Review the VAR decisions that we lost and see if there is a pattern as to why we are being ruled against and try to figure out if there is anything that can be easily done to change the decisions to be in our favour.
Note: I am not trying to do Nuno’s job. I am just making an obvious suggestion.
Smaller feet might do the job, Tim. Know any good surgeons specialising in partial amputations?
I was thinking of shaving their armpits but alright.
There you go, doing that thinking thing again.
You should try it.
Can’t they just clip their toenails before every match? Simples.
Bilko raised the important point of new played aclimatisation earlier and I would like to draw attention to the role that Captain Coady plays in that department. I have read in various sources the way he welcomes players and encourages them on and off the pitch. Given his obvious enthusiasm and amount of game time, it’s not difficult to imagine how importantly Nuno rates this role.
Given the history of big club snobbery and cliques in our national team I’m sure Gareth Southgate appreciates the role that Conor can perform in creating the sort of one team enthusiastic culture that teams like Wales Iceland and Croatia have displayed in the past.
We are indeed blessed having a manager, backroom staff and Captain that recognise the importance of the team.
Coady’s predecessor a club captain was not as gifted a player but had good and black in his veins and was undoubtedly another top human being. It’s a great pity that Wolves fans won’t be able to applaud and thank Danny Baath when he makes probably his last appearance at the Mop in the EFL Cup. I bet Nuno will not miss the chance to greet him.
On good grief the typos – Please bring back the amend option before my eyesight deteriorates further.
Great servant Danny without him and his type at the club then, l don’t think we would be in this position.
Great lad.
You are right. We would not be in this position.
Danny boy deserves a standing ovation at the Mol. The few people who will be there must do their best! The consummate professional and a great ambassador for the club. Hopefully there’s a PR role at Wolves for him in the future.
Ferreira just signed on season loan with option to buy.
Give us a quality RWB now please Jeff.
Great work Jeff- I don’t have a problem with Oscar or the Donk playing RWB until which time a suitable signing is made?
Benn looking at him since last window.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FwqJ4RFCa9M
look at the date of the posting.
A Portuguese fan says Ferreira is Ruben Neves 2.0.
Ok
Feeling just a tiny bit chuffed to go top of the SPL ( signings prediction league) …at least for now
‘ 3 signings before Blades match with some speaking Portuguese..’. or words to that effect
Voila… or whatever that is in Portuguese
Suspect at least one more class addition before end of window
And no big sales
Don’t mind what language from next man in
Icelandic even…lucky blokes I’d say
Meantime a PS to Brompto
Come back Milijas ; all is forgiven!
( saw his first game… pre season vs Bristol City… hit a couple of 50 yarders that had folk gasping…. but apparently he liked a fag or two
Ah well)
Nuno likes a fag or two too.
My last one was in March. Not had one since.
Good for you, Brompto!
Now you won’t burn down your tent accidentally!
Betcha put on a bit of weight, tho, didn’t you?
Better than coffin yerself to death.
Keep it up, my friend, long term benefits and all that.
You’ll get to see us win the Champions League ten years in succession!
That’s brilliant mate!
How’s the pipe going?
No pipe. Just 20 cigars a day.
No, seriously I don’t even think about having one now. Weight is an issue though lol.
Fabio Silva
Marcel
Vitinha
Alex Telles?
Who would dare say Fosun were not committed to the cause. Wolves ay we.
Well done on the ciggy front….DONT GO BACK Brompto
Meantime here’s a way for Fosun to underline their commitment to football as well as make life simpler in player acquisition for Molineux
Just buy Porto
Got to be an opportunity here for a bargain buy. ( but not as good as the Wolves deal!)
https://www.offshoresportsbooks.com/news/fc-porto-in-financial-crisis/
Interesting despite being very poorly written and with no information to explain the reasons for their apparent predicament.
Daily mail has done some digging in to Fabio. Reckon 6m of the 35m went to mendez who they say is not his agent. Expect the spotlight to shine again.
lf he rolls out talent for us and gets results good luck to him cheap at the price.
Green eyed monster.
Every season…….
They can all go Funk themselves.
George mendes is now interwoven into the fabric of “the plan”.
Wolves were exonerated of collusion over direct involment of the running of the club because he doesnt have anything to do with the club apart from move players in and out
Thats his job …not solely for us but for anyone who wishes to employ his services … as expensive as they may be.
Fosun own a share of his gestifute company and if anyone wants a share they should simply ask him to sell them a bit.
Do we get a better deal ? not on your nelly.
His company is a totaly professional multi million pound business and if you want to employ him then just pick up the phone.
What gets my goat are the moaning whingers who dont go the extra mile as we do and want it all on the cheap and because they dont get what we get start crying foul.
It has died down as of late but i expect a backlash again when the likes of villa and leeds start to get bashed to bits as the season progresses.
The daily mail have already had a dig expect more when their london elite get ousted.
Brompton. Rikrak.and anyone else who enquired……
Season tickets to be paused, full information announced on Wolves website today.
Thanks Stu. Just read it now.
Take Care and love to Jen.
Below is a small piece from the mail this morning about Nuno’s contract
