Leyton Orient and Sky would both have hoped for significantly more to be riding on this fixture.

As it is, Wolves are the only party with a vested interest in the outcome.
Victory would effectively guarantee the League One title courtesy of a vastly superior goal difference to Brentford.
The hosts, having already guaranteed their play-off position, might want to cement a third place finish to avoid playing Rotherham or Preston in the semi-finals.
Pride is also at stake, with Os no doubt keen to win the final battle having already lost out on the war. It promises to be a great game.
Leyton Orient
It looked for all the world that Russell Slade’s team would maintain the two points a game average needed to be pushing right to the end.
But they’ve faded badly coming down the home straight with only three wins in their last ten matches.
Many thought the depth of their squad would ultimately cost them and despite reinforcements arriving in January, I think that’s proved the case.
Six home defeats have been expensive and with Wolves and Brentford losing just twice and three times on their own grounds respectively, that’s been the difference.
Top scorers Mooney (19) and Lisbie (15) have enjoyed fantastic seasons, but they’ve found goals harder to come by in the second half of the campaign. They remain a real threat.
Wolves
I think it’s safe to say Wolves were made to work for the full 90 against Rotherham on Friday. I’m expecting some changes for this one.

Jack Price has perhaps been a bit unfortunate to find himself out of the side of late, so a recall for him in place of Evans could be a decent bet.
Dave Edwards worked tirelessly and as a persistent injury risk, he must be a prime candidate for a rest. James Henry would be a useful replacement.
Dicko was another who ran himself into the ground on Friday and Clarke is due another chance to ignite his second spell at the club.
The odds
Wolves are favourites for the win at 6/5, whilst the draw and a Leyton Orient victory are both 5/2.
As we saw on Friday, games can really open up at this stage of the season, so another high scoring affair isn’t entirely unlikely.
6-4 is probably a stretch but a more realistic 3-2 win for Wolves is available at 25/1. All odds here.
Predictions
Well done to the 49 of you that correctly predicted a win against Rotherham. Unbelievably, nobody got the correct scoreline, although Clive did forecast the 6 Wolves goals.
I can’t give you any additional points for that mate (rules are rules) but I can pay tribute by replicating your unshakable confidence.
5-1 for me then.
Up The Wolves

SKY must be wishing now that they had covered our game on Friday for entertainment value, but I am sure that Wolves v Orient may yet provide some surprises. We are seeking the win to edge ever closer to that league title but I still think the O’s will come at us on their home turf to get the points. This could be another goal fest with two good sides going full out with attacking football. I just hope we improve defensively as a team from Friday’s efforts. And the addition of Jack Price would help, together with Henry to relieve some tired legs, as Thomas says.
Clarke would suit this game because of the sheer physicality of this London side, but will he turn up with his shooting boots? As always, I will trust KJ to put out the right players tactically to win this one. I predict a scoreline of 2-4 to Wolves.
Orient 1:2 Wolves
Interesting times indeed and I suspect Dicko will retain his place against the O’s simply because he is enjoying his football so much he will be battering Kenny’s door down to tell him he wants his place. Good to see Jarvo making the headlines for doing the right thing and he remains the only player from the old team that I would love to see back in the pack. Onwards and upwards another Dicko hat trick and a 3 – 0 win.
I think KJ will want to get a better defensive effort from the lads after Friday’s stunning game, and will work hard to achieve that. Orient 0-2 Wolves.
I recall in the first game at Molineux Wolves battered LO, particularly in the first half, but only managed one goal so we had to settle for a draw. However as we all know, we have different and more prolific strikers now, and a goal difference of massive proportions.
Defensive stability should return with Price & Big Mac sitting deep to help protect the back four, so I`m expecting a 3-1 win tomorrow, and the title for our trophy cabinet.
2-1 to WWFC. Shame you cant give Clive a bonus point considering he hasnt got one right all season….hang on he is 4 pts above……
Can see a few goals in this one again.
O’s 1, Wolves 4.
Orient 1Wolves 3
Amazing game by the sounds of it on Friday, let’s hope we don’t see yet another uncalled-for pitch invasion though!!!
Going for a big big wolves win here
LO 0-5 Wolves
I think it will be a 2-2 draw. I expect MK to get a result and therefore make us Champions.
Hopefully there’s not a let down at LO. I think this will be a very tight game sooooooooo, Leyton 0 – Wolves 1. Hopefully I’m dead wrong on this but hey, a wins a win.
Good luck Wolves on Easter Monday…
I will go for a Wolves win 1-0.
An open game again..I expect Dicko to be on fire… I hope Orient don’t clip him a few times..although perhaps KJ s tactics mean that other players are expected to score..
1-3 to Wolves and the title..
I think that Russell Slade is a cock. Therefore I really want Wolves to stuff them.
Orient 0 – 4 Wolves
Did I mention that I think Slade is a cock?
A team full of talent, flair and goals. Statistically, the best Wolves side in history. Promotion already in the bag. Coming off the back of arguably the most exciting Wolves game in living memory in front of the biggest Molineux crowd in 30 years. Live on TV. This has got 0-0 written all over it. Still, a point would set us up very nicely to clinch the title and 100 points at home to Carlisle. That would do very nicely thank you.
Kenny to get the ‘defence back to shutting the door, I watched thia lot play Brentford they were really poor. I think Russell slade is a clock too.
4-0 to the Wanderers.
Oh did I mention, I also think Russell Slade is a Clock, (got no time for the bloke)
Orient 1-2 Wolves
I can just smell the jealousy from y’all that I got the prediction right, well, half right, last week!!
The only Orient worth talking about is the Far East, and that is similar to Leyton only in that it flatters to deceive, with all the knock off imitations of everything, just like LO have flattered to deceive all season, running out of puff some weeks ago.
We, on the other foot, have maintained brilliant form, cumulating in six goals at home
for the first time since Adam was a lad.
So, ever mindful that my forecasts, for the most part this year, have been spot on (!) just for a change, I will plump for Orient 1 Wufflers 5.
Come On Me Babbies.
Oh, by the way, Thomas, we’ll talk about your rules on the 3rd!!
With so many records broken this season why shouldn’t the TV hoodoo go the same way?
Orient 0 Wolves 4
Orient 1 – 4 Wolves
I think Wolves are on the verge of something utterly unique, or at least extremely rare, in the history of English football but I can’t find ultimate confirmation. So far this season we have beaten 20 of the 23 teams in the division. The only 3 we haven’t beaten are our next 3 opponents. When Reading achieved 106 points they failed to beat Leeds and Arsenal failed to beat Man United and Portsmouth in their “Invincible” season. I can’t find any other team that have even got close to beating every opponent in a season and if it has happened before then it will put Wolves in, what I’m guessing, will be a very small group of teams.
Does anyone know for certain? It would be an even more remarkable end to a record breaking season and I’ll have more than my fingers crossed for a positive result at Brisbane Road tomorrow.
Expect a few changes and also tired legs for this one. Add to that Sky tv cameras, so expect a terrible game.
Orient 1 Wolves 1
The back five will be keen to improve on Friday’s concessions so I see a familiar tightness in defence. And Sako will be keen to show that whippersnapper Diko who’s the boss up front, so again I am hoping for a goal fest. 1-4 for me.
Hooray, hooray, the grandkids have now gone back home! Missed out on the excitement of Friday because of family duties.
Back to sanity and a convincing Wolves 3 Orient 0.
Wolves of wonder, Wolves of might,
Wolves in ultra violet light, (purple ? )
League One leading, still proceeding,
Out of darkness cometh light!
you need to get out more.
My excuse is :-
( a ) married
( b ) grandkids
( c ) married
( d ) age, following Wolves over 60 years
( e ) married
Any one of the above or all !
May 3rd here I come !!
Clive he’s been married 3 times and has grandkids, cut him some slack 🙂
And the current Mrs ClivefromHouston is #4, so I got him beat there!!!
Yes, I know, I need to get out more as well!!
My head is telling me that a tired draw is on the cards.
However, my head is also telling me that I shouldn’t drink too much Yellow Tail tonight.
My heart is telling me to ignore my head.
2-1 to us then.
……… And cheers everyone!
After a ten goal thriller and cos the cameras are there Sod’s law says 0-0 bore draw. But kj side doesn’t like to disappoint so I predict 3-1 to wolves
After Friday’s excitement It’s likely to be down to earth with a bump I fear, but I’m feeling too positive after such a great performance to predict a draw so, Wolves to win 1-0.
2-0 to the Wolves,
UTW
Looking fwd to tomorrow with a glass of sauv blanc watching the wufflers of sky tv. We’ll be champion’s after tomorrow and I’ll be close to being pissed. Leyton Orient 1 – 3 Wolves. Look fwd to seeing As many as poss on the 3rd. Twix’ s all around.
Hope its not too hot or yoom gonna have runny chocolate all down yer trousers!!!
Thanks for granting me an audience. The carriage of twixs hasn’t caused any problems to date. Scooped doesn’t mind if it’s soft or hard, runny or firm .. he’ll fucking eat anything that’s free.
Dont even like Twix.
Crunchies were much nicer and the Crunchie Kid sounds much neater than Twixfix.
Will be expecting better from you next season!
I reckon the Twixes must be free in that Executive Bog you loiter around????
It’s only the chocolate that covers the two fingers in each pack !!!
2nd thoughts;
The Crunchie Codger!
Speedway 2mrw?
2-0 to the mighty Wanderers which secures the title.
Just need the shit to get relegated then, and I’ll pocket £400 ????
Could happen now following Sunderlands’ sudden burst of activity.Fingers crossed !!!!
BobbaWolf,
I know a nice little Malaysian guy living in Singapore (allegedly) who for £150 will fix the WBArseholes season for you 🙂
Sounds good StuWolf, get him on the case.
Don’t know why all those question marks appeared at the end of my post – clearly the blog doesn’t like an emoticon smiley face.
I also put a tenner on Liverpool a couple of months ago at 8-1. Could be a very lucrative end to the season.
On the basis that we are usually awful on TV and Finsbury Park Wolf has just put that stat in my head, I think I’ll go for a draw.
Leyton Orient 2-2 Wolves
No sky TV in the LedburyLupus household so the usual routine is for me and the ‘Wolfcub’ to head into Dodge City (Hereford) where we stand alone in our Wolves gear and always end up somewhat humiliated. Well with so many corners turned this season and records broken, perhaps Kenny the Magician can finally break the TV jinx as well.
As expected our League 1 performances have received very little coverage this season both in the press and on TV, so this is the opportunity to show what will be a high number of Bank Holiday lunchtime viewers what Wolves are now capable of.
Due to living in london and playing saturday football I’ve not been able to see wolves play this year. Luckily my dad has sorted me a ticket for tomorrow, lets hope we win and round off a great week where I’ve bought my first flat, been nominated for a promotion at work and wolves win the league! Booya!
And are you gonna marry that lovely lass as well?
Can you make it to the Mol on the 3rd for a pint or several??
Your Dad is paying.
Aye the ring is on her finger! Pretty much a proper adult now. I’ll have a word with dad, if he’s paying I can hardly refuse!
You can’t leave Dicko out after Friday, surely? I’m backing him to score more. 2-0 to the Wolves.
Goals to flow again 4-2 wolves win
I’m thinking an improved defensive display; 2-0 to Wolves
Knowing the cynical world of football it was great to hear Steve Evans magnanimous in defeat and generous with his praise of Wolves, when he must have been gutted not to have got something out of that amazing match. I hope you go up Rotherham, you’ve got a good team and a class manager.
Leyton Orient 1 Wolves 2
Let’s grab that title! I’m going for a 1-2 win to Wolves!
Orient 1-3 Wolves
And at last another game live in Aus. LO 1 – Wolves 2.
Win this and the title is ours, so I think we will go for it all guns blazing.
LO 1 – WOLVES 3
I agree a few team changes likely but the lads will want that win.
Orient 1 – 2 Wolves
UTW
This is the one match me and the good lady can’t get to, but it’s on TV and we’re up in Sconnie Botland. With the Independence card being played they’ve now got electricity and Sky TV on my iPad. SORTED.
All you away mates of mine, give the lads a shout for me. Sam Ricketts to get another so going for my 4-0 still. Tne only way is Wolves
KJ will have them fired up for this. Following Fridays’ spectacular show I can see him keeping the big guns on the bench for starters.Hopefully they can do the biz and claim the title.
Orient 0 Wolves 2
Looking forward to finally watching a match, first time since the gillingham reverse.
Hopefully some goals and a clean sheet.
2-0 the lads
Amazing Panorma shot of the Mol from Friday’s game with Rotherham
http://www.gigapan.com/gigapans/153591/
…I still think Russell Slade is a cock…
Wolves 2 Orient 1
Brilliant panorama, Sevlow. Especially as I could find myself! Ian was thinking that, with Sky there and a possible backlash from Friday, a dull draw was on the cards. But I’m just about convinced that, with a bit of rotation for knackered legs, the Os’ form of late and a desire to show our greatness to the world, we will win it and possibly the title too. But a bit more narrowly this time. Orient 0 Wolves 2.
I’ve had a bet wolves to win 3-1 at 18/1 so I’ll keep to that score line
Orient aren’t playing as well as Rotherham, KJ will have sorted the defense out. I reckon Henry will start in place of Evans. 0-4 to the Wolves. Off down the pub to watch it. Come on me babbies!!
Plenty of O’s in this prediction. 0-0
O’s 1-3 Wolves
Wolves 3 Orient 3
Hallelujah …New era..
Come on Thomas.
The game has been over for 5 minutes.
Wheres the report??!!
We’ve gone and won the league
We’ve gone and won the league
And now they have to believe us.
We’ve gone and won the league
🙂 🙂 🙂
We are the Champions
1-3 win GET IN
IKEME what a great game he had, Wolves man of the match.
Now let’s get the league 1 record of 101 points.
Well done KJ and the boys, I’m over the moon.
There is a God.
MK Dons2-2 Brentford last minute equaliser
We are the Champions
🙂
