Following an uncomfortable fortnight of unrest and anxiety, this week has been a sedate vacation as we all bask in the warmth of 16th place.
Ah, safety. Breathe it in.
Not many thought we’d get a result at Newcastle, but that point has given us a nice platform to build on heading to Craven Cottage on Sunday.

But again, this will be a big test for TC and the boys.
Fulham away is a much different proposition to Fulham at home and with the technicians they have at their disposal, you wonder whether we’ll be able to cope defensively?
I’ve watched the likes of Dembele, Ruiz and Dempsey with green eyes in recent months. The way they move the ball around and open up the opposition is in stark contrast to our more laboured approach.
And it’s really come together for Martin Jol’s men in recent weeks.
Back-to-back wins against Stoke and QPR have elevated them well away from potential danger and into the midtable scrum.
Home form is their strength, boasting 6 wins and 4 draws already this season with only 3 losses to their name.
And that’s the difference between Fulham and Wolves – literally.
Away from home their record is identical to ours, but the difference is they’ve done solid business in front of their own fans.
Had we picked up more than just 2 points against the likes of QPR, Norwich, Swansea, Stoke and Villa – all winnable home matches – we’d be enjoying life a lot more than we have been.
The Team
As I write this, question marks remain over the fitness of Hennessey, Edwards and Doyle.
This favoured XI assumes all 3 are available for selection.

I liked TC’s setup for the Newcastle match, so I don’t see much need to change it, save for Fletch in for Doyle.
It’s harsh to drop Doyler but if he’s had a knock, I’d definitely put our top scorer straight back in. I just don’t think we can afford to leave Fletch out anyway.
Prediction League
7 people correctly predicted a draw at the Sports Direct Bowl (or whatever they’re calling it now).
4 of the 7 got the scoreline spot on too, so they all bag the maximum 3 points on offer.
Well done to 50 years black and gold, Sam 2.0, The Wanderer and CrazyPete.
It’s a point for the others.
I’m going for an unlikely win this weekend just because I think they’re due a bad result and we’re due a great one.
It will ultimately come down to how well we defend because I think we’ll score.
2-1.
If you’re heading down for this one, have a great time. It’s a nice old ground.
Up The Wolves.

Another solid point, 1-1, and then a win against the headless chickens please!
Hamill on loan… WTF?
I think we will be lucky to get a draw the way Fulham are playing. Im more worried that Terrys all gold does not think we are in a mess 2 wins in what is it 22 games leakking goals and our premier signing of last summer would not be out of place on blackpool beach ie Johnson. If that is TC verdict its agood job hes only manager till the ens of the aeason even McCarthy amitted we were in ames
I think TC was more along the lines of “we’re not dead and buried, we’ve been in worse positions before” when he said that we weren’t in a mess…
Few managers run around saying there club is in a mess thats the supporters job !
It all hinges on how we defend. I’ll go for another 2-2. Not a bad result if it happens, but three points would be magic.
Only my second game of the season, the other was Fulham at home….
Feeling pretty optimistic with regards to a result and I’ll go 2-2
Will be a decent game, we’ll put in a solid performance but Fulham will end up being too strong for us and a scrappy goal will cost us the game.
Fulham 2-1 Wolves: Dempsey, Dembele, Fletcher.
I’m yet to see us lose away in London this season (have been to all London fixtures except Chelsea). I’m going on Sunday and I am stupidly optimistic that our fortunes here will continue. Really hope TC can deliver, I like him alot.
I’ll predict a second successive 2-2 scoreline.
2-1 Wolves! Fletcher to score, Fulham to equalise and Doyler to come off the bench for the winner!
As for Hennessey, he should be okay, but if not I’d be worried – not that De Vries is a bad goalkeeper, but when was the last time he had a game?
Anyone know the situation with Bassong ? Thought he would be a starter if fit.
2-1 win.
Bad news for this one I think.
Fulham 4 Wolves 1
So hope you’re very wrong . that’s the score I
woke up this morning having dreamt . So , having a terrible
record of predicting games, I’m going the
opposite way …..4-1 to Wolves …and a sore
head after a few beers heading home !
Dream on my friend…. Gutted.
The Wolves are long overdue a shutout, and I think Jarvis might plink another in sooner rather than later.
Wolves 1-0
Going for a 3-2 win for us.
Adam Hammill to Boro
Absolutely unbelieveable. Why? How are WOLVES going to benefit from loaning this guy (who incidentally is the most under used decent player we have) out to some championship side when we require all the players we have until the end of the season. Who knows what injuries lay in waiting and I believe we don’t even have the the full compliment of squad either.
Deary me if this is a taste of things to come then I have no idea where we are heading
1) We can recall Hammill after a period of 28 days
2) I don’t think TC was gonna call him back anyway
3) Maybe he is underrated at Wolves but he does tend to be overrated by some fans – you really think that he’s gonna be our saviour? We can survive without him!
Im not sure he’s savour but he better than Hunt at the minute and to be fair he hasnt had the run of games that Hunt has to prove himself also why buy him if only to loan him out 2 premier games he’s played that not enough time to assess his capibilities
Yeah, definitely better than Hunt! I’m grateful for him for the goal vs Blackburn last season but he just hasn’t been good since!
Reports are he wanted to go
I’d love to see wolves take this one, but I feel like Fulham will be too strong at this moment. Players like Dempsey, Ruiz and Pog will love our defense, and considering (last I checked) Hennessey, Fletcher AND Doyle are possibly all injured, well.
Sadly I predict a 3-0 loss.
Anyway – Kightly in for Foley and I approve of your team. And Bassong should never start, certainly not ahead of Johnson or the ones you selected.
Sending hammill on loan is just incredible….what has this guy done ???? hundred per cent certain he will be a success wherever he goes…guess he doesnt fit in the Wolves DNA
I have to question whether we can actually put out a full team complete with 7 subs.
We have a couple of injuries, and now three of our squad of 25 out on loan.
This smacks more of moxey than TC….if we loan ’em out we don’t have to pay their wages. Brilliant logic! Meanwhile, back at the ranch, we have no one to guard the herd.
Fuckin’ disaster in the making.
Dempsey will be full of it after scoring the winner in Italy…..you’d have thought they’d won the world cup the fuss they made over here…….and he needs to be shackled closely.
If Berra and Ward are on the pitch, we will struggle.
Note I didn’t use the word play.
I will be in sunny Albuquerque this weekend, sailing gently over the Rio Grande and mountains in a hot air balloon.
And yes, I’ve already had all the “Clive and hot air” comments, so bollocks to y’all before you send them!!!
FOJM and FOWB
Fulham 0 Wolves 2
Nah, I won’t do that… I’m not too sure you’ll be around for long anyway…
Because Mick is looking for you!
http://photos-f.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash4/s720x720/421897_10150591916490969_690815968_9581655_740152125_n.jpg?dl=1
“scuse my iggorance, but doesn’t McDickhead’s nose slant the other way???
Unemployment hasn’t suited him…
Sounds amazing. Have a great time.
Ward is always on the pitch…….TC will assume the parental role now vacated
Play Doyle in place of Edwards behind Fletch and stick with your team..
Hammill out on loan, is TC’s first bad call….
I just cant see our defence standing up, 2-0 down down as per the usual before we start playing..
Final score 2-1 to them..
Moxey out!!! Morgan OUT!!! TC OUT!!!!
In my opinion TC’s SECOND bad call. His first was not immediately recalling Guediora and Doherty, maybe even Danny Baath
I think we’ll continue where we left against Newcastle and picks up another strong point against Fulham
1-1
I’d definitely prefer Hammill to Hunt.
More than willing to give TC the benefit of the doubt for now though. I guess the best thing he has going for him is that he knows the dressing room politics inside out. If shipping out Hammill and dropping Johnson helps everyone pull in the right direction then so be it.
Fulham 1 – Wolves 2, backs to the wall performance required
Can anybody tell me why Hammell has been put out on loan it beats me.do you think its got anything to do with saving a few sheckles by the slimey pair of hebrews,or is it TaCtless making the same bollocks as MM hope not.
Don’t know how to call this one. Fulham at home have got a good record this season.
Another draw would be all we could hope for providing we have our full team available.but a
win would be fantastic. UTW.
Seriously???
Morgan & Moxey sending Hammill out on loan is now a “Jewish conspiracy” – that is ignorant, inaccurate, irrelevant, and brainless. (A good effort in such a short sentence).
Sorry Ash K if my comment offended you, perhaps i should have said Morgan & Moxey are
a bit tight if that is politically correct.UTW.
If there is a more annoying term and more annoying people than the politically correct wankers, then I’ve yet to see them.
Those pricks get right up my nose, on their fuckin’ high horses.
Call it what it is, and if someone gets offended, fuck ’em and the fuckin’ horse they rode in on!!!
Piss on political correctness!
If jewish people hadn’t got a reputation for being tight fisted, they would not be associated with it.
Same as The Scots, and the Irish for being dumb and the Welsh for shaggin sheep…..
the list goes on and on.
If the cap fits, wear it.
So, in response to your comment, Ash K, if I have upset you, or offended you with my gross insensitivity….I don’t give a shit, get over it.
Yes M and M have acted like a pair of tightfisted, pennypinching moneygrabbers, the evidence is there for all to see.
FOJM
Clive,
Having read this forum for a long time, I understand that your role is to be offensive and controversial…
But I am not sure your “insight” is warranted or useful on this one.
Johnok made a comment that I thought was senseless –
Calling Moxey and Morgan (non-Jews to the best of my knowledge) “slimy Hebrews” was simply a gratuitous and wildly inacccurate cheap shot. (It would be insensitive and offensive if they were Jewish, but thats another debate).
Johnok was happy enough to apologise and I appreciate that – my point was that there were many ways to express that M&M don’t want to spend money and “a bit tight” or bloody cheap or many other options are reasonable expressions of that point of view, without resorting to racial stereotyping (of people not even of that race / religion!).
“Political correctness” (not a term that I used) can be overdone, but it is far better than ignorant racial abuse.
No, my role is not to be offensive, I’ll leave that to you and your comments about
Johnok being “ignorant, inaccurate, irrelevant and brainless’, terms you DID use, and at the same time giving yourself a little pat on the back.
If you want offensive, go annoy someone else, I won’t stoop down to your level.
The only role I have has got ham on it.
FOWB
For clarification – I did not call Johnok anything… but I did say that his comment was all those things.
So following that logic, if I say I THINK you are an arrogant prick, I am not actually insulting you, just thinking it???
Have a nice day.
At 3.14 you say “I won’t stoop to your level”.
And then follow up with “if I say I THINK you are an arrogant prick, I am not actually insulting you, just thinking it”
I have not said anything personal to you, but you deemed it important to butt in to a converstaion that Johnok and I seemed to be handling quite happily on our own.
To answer your question on logic…
If you think I am an arrogant prick, then you are not insulting me.
If you SAY (and publish) ” I think you are an arrogant prick” you are insulting me.
Time to call a truce lads, ‘i wish i had’nt said anything’but i still think
moxey & morgan are a tight as a ducks arse.UTW,Moxey out.
Ash K I have to disagree with you.
I am Jewish, generally speaking, we are a tight fisted bunch, or losers, artists or intellectuals.
‘Political Correctness’ has become an excuse for ‘oppression’.
You cannot legislate against how people ‘think’.
Back to the football…..
A win for us….
I think that’s out of order too Clive.
And i want you to know my wife’s Welsh and i’m the only one who shags sheep in our house!
So it’s been said………………..
It’s probably more accurate to describe Morgan as a murdering, Scouse thundertwat. Just saying.
2-2 for me, but I fear that might be a tad optimistic
I fear this will be the end of TC’s unbeaten run
1-3 Wolves. In a few games time we’ll wonder what all the worry was about.
Im fed up of seeing that f!@/king avert in the express & star WV1 contact corperatewolves that fat c@?t poxy moxey no dout responsible whack 50% on top of everything and call it corperate hospitality
First clean sheet of the season.
Play Doyle instead of O’Hara, if all are fit….
A surprise result, regardless of the team.
Fulham 0 Wolves 1
Doyle or Fletcher to score….
Sorry, first clean sheet and a win this season!
We had a clean sheet and win against Fulham at home..
Louie, I realised afterwards it was an unsubstantiated statistic and probably wrong!
Ok, so clean sheet number two & second win in that genre, of the season!
That’ll be a rarity whatever the mathematics!
Clean sheet and a win away! How about that?
Would be nice if we could say after this season that we were gash from Fulham to Fulham then great in the other games! 😛
The honeymoon is over! We can’t stop any team from scoring on us anway so I reckon –
Fulham 2 Wolverhampton 0
3-1 Fulham still don’t see any sign of plugging the goal leak.
I’m afraid that Fulham will have too much for us, especially away.
2 – 1 loss for this one.
I hope we can get a draw, because I think a point would be a good result here. I will be watching events at the bottom of the table closely for this one!
Really hoping I’m wrong like last week!
I think we can get another point on the board. Just hope the other results go in our favour this weekend.
Fulham 1-1 Wolves
I will guess at Fulham 1-0 Wolves, I’m afraid …
As you are leading the prediction league, a chilling comment Kowloon….
Fulham 2 Wolves 0. This week’s comments in the media from players and TC as well as sending one of our best wingers away on loan just shows that the club has not moved an inch since the game against W*** B***.
TC may have got off to a good start, but no real change has taken place and I can’t see us improve enough for the last games to stay up.
I can’t blame TC or his loyal Championship players for acting like they are. But I can certainly blame Morgan and Moxey for not doing anything at all towards saving this club’s PL status.
Their management of this club is a farce.
But Of course I hope that TC can motivate the players to walk the extra mile to preserve the hope!
UTW
2-0 Fulham-please prove me wrong boys.
We’ve scored more league goals than Liverpool. That somewhat surprised me.
When I find myself in times of trouble….
Am hoping for a point…but expect Fulham to be too much for us. 2-1 to them.
Can’t for the life of me understand why Hammill has be allowed out on loan!
Berra and Foley out Bassong and Kightly in and I’d be happy with that team. For me I would probably keep Doyle in if fit with Fletch on from the bench, I don’t think it would be fair to drop him after last weeks performance.
Personally, I think it will be close but Fulham will have to much for us on their own turf as we can’t keep a clean sheet for toffee at the moment. Fulham 2-1 Wolves
It all depends if we can not conceed in the first 30minutes. *isn’t the stat something like 14 of our points have come from losing positions this season?* We always seem so sluggish and other teams just come at us straight away. We need a high tempo from the start!
Saying that I think this could be the continuation of our good 2nd half against the geordies. I’ll go from a rousing 2-1 wolves win with fletch and jarvis to score.
Wolves to win 2-1, my prediction for every remaining game this season. I`m 100% certain that won`t happen, but we need to win games, not draw, whoever the opposition.
I like the way Fulham play, and Dempsey is a good player, so lets hope TC tactical nous works even better this week.
Enjoy the hot air balloon ride Clive, how far can a FOJM chant go from that high up.
Foley isn’t a winger, so he shouldn’t be starting there. If only we had someone who could tear down the right, take on defenders and cross a ball. You know, like that lad who’s just gone to Middlesbrough on loan.
Basking in mid table security after there victory over QPR they might just have an off day – hope we dont.Too superstitous to say the score out loud.
Fulham have a decent team, Dempsie is having a great season, there new striker Pogrebnyak looks big, strong and has scored a couple already. They have had a few decent results recently but I wouldn’t rate them higher than Newcastle.
I think our aim should be to go into half time not losing. Then take the game to them in the second half. Formation has to be 4-5-1 but I’d keep Doyler in there, he’ll work harder and help us keep it tight in the first half. Similarly, I’d bring Kites on for Foley in the second half.
This probably wont materialize as we’ll be 2-0 down at half time! So I’ll go for the optimistic 3-2 win!
Pompey’s ground might be crap and they might be going into extinction but at least they had the pleasure of watching the likes of Peter Crotch and Stroll Campbell for a year !!!!!!!!
Sam2.0, i beg to differ. The games ive seen this season where we conceed early, its actually our attacking thrust in the first 5-10 mins that causes our defence to be left exposed by the midfield supporting upfield, that inadvertantly catches us out.
I think we often start without enough caution.
you could be right, jsut our ‘attacking thrust’ isn’t always too convincing really is it, so it probably just looks like we are spread out to hell with no real direction. Then we conceed and realise, ‘oh shit, this is how we should play football’
Anyway the way we played against newcastle looked like a better system with TC making more astute subs at important times so i think we may end up playing with a bit more purpose!
We normally do ok against Fulham but they are currently in good form so they are going to be a real handful and at home they must be favourites to win. However, I think we can nick at least a draw. so 1-1 is my prediction.
Now the mandatory moan-Why the frig have we loaned out Hammill as I would have him ahead of Hunt in our current position every time. We ship goals irrespective so we need to make chances, move fast and take a shot like Jarvo does/did at Newcastle. Hunt is out of form, Milijas is leaden, and we have now lost our most mobile midfielder. What has the poor lad said or done to piss off the management?
Full support for TC and the lads but Morgan and Greaser have to go they have made us a laughing stock and even seem to believe their own nonsense that they spout out “carefully considered and selected manager”!!!!! , “must have Premier League experience” Clearly making money and building houses is more important than building a team the evidence is plain to see this season. Does the £30m invetsment required by the gift of Wolves from Jack include buildings as I can’t see £30m net worth of team investment.
Doyle has the mobility and nouse to play behind Fletch in place of O’hara, who for me gives away posession far too often. When he first arrived last season he was like a breath of fresh air but this season has been a liability, It’s obvious why ‘Arry let him go. Have read reports he’s playing with pain killing injections since his hernia op, If so leave him out because he isn’t doing it imho.
Craddock and Bassong in for Stearman and Berra.
Berra’s dalliances on the ball have cost us dear on several occasions as we all know and Dickhead Stear-ohdearme-man, where do i start with this clown. Complete and utter garbage. The worst player on the books, and he has the gall to wear Billy Wrights shirt. I cringe when his name is announced in the team before kick off. The best thing i’ve ever seen him do on the pitch is break his wrist at Everton which meant MM had to leave him out.
As for the Hammill loan, there may or may not be anything in this but i’ve heard rumours on more than one occasion that he’s a bit of a piss head. So he may well have been a little bit disruptive around the rest of the lads. As i said they’re only rumours but…….smoke, fire etc.
If Stear-ohdearme-man is left out im going for a 2-0 win on Sunday.
Good luck to TC and the lads in bringing home all three points.
Have to disagree with you on Stearman there mate, he’s a decent defender. I understand you having reservations over him playing RB as he’s not great on the ball, but he can read the game well, tackle cleanly and head the ball too.
Even if you think he’s not good enough for the first team, which is your prerogative, I find the vitriol you spouted there pretty harsh – breaking his wrist the best thing he’s ever done? Lovely…
I have to strongly disagree with your nomination for worst player on the books.
in my humble (!) opinion there is only one candidate, who stands out like a shining beacon…..drum roll please….. our very own Mr. Stephen Ward, closely followed by his shadow big George Elokobi.
Quite a coincidence that these two are supposedly left backs.
Do you think they are sent off into a corner to coach themselves?
So now come all the Wardophiles, slagging me off coz he has supposedly improved from last season.
How could he not?
As I’ve stated before, if you are shit, it don’t matter whether you are the best looking piece of shit, you are still shit.
I case my rest, I’m off to New Mexico.
FOJM
He has improved since last season – but will never be prem quality for as long as I have a hole in my @rse!
I can easily fix that! I’ve been practising my sewing – all you need to do is hold still! 😛
You, young man, are a sad, twisted soul!!!
The experiments those men in white coats have done on me are starting to take their toll!
Express & Star blogger Tim Spiers seems to have summed up Morgan and Moxeys’ antics pretty well here.
http://feedproxy.google.com/~r/expressandstar_sport/~3/HsLAtr4raG4/
I like Spiers new nickname for TC – Clipboardinho
The only true thing that the greasy turd has ever said is that it is morgans club and he will do what he wants. Greasy turd wasnt to blame for pie and pint fiasco. Morgan has final say on everything. Greasy turd is just morgan dumb public mouthpiece. If TC achieves the miracle of keepin us up, he will have saved morgans skin. Keep up the buildin work Steve
Fulham to win 2-1. I think they’ll be far too strong for us at the Cottage.
Hopefully a good display from Wolves but ultimately losing in the end. We can’t keep a clean sheet and we always give the opposition a head start too early in the game, leaving us with a mountain to climb.
Fulham 2:0 Wolves.
Back to reality with a bump!
1-0 to the wolves, stearman to score from a corner.
2-1 Wolves 2nd game of an unbeaten 13 match run-in!
2-0 wolves
optimism… slowly… returning…
OUR TEAM have been freed of the shackles of McCarthy, and will thrive under Top Cat. Whoever he picks, they will play great and win 3-i.
Boys did well at the back last week, but I’d go with Johnson and Bassong every game from now till the finnish line. (we will finnish 4th from bottom!)
I might look at sticking Doyle on the right and dropping Foley just so we can get him in as well as fletch. sticking with 451.
First time poster, love the site.
Welcome, welcome!!
Are you the Gold Coast in Oz by any chance?
If so, I’m fuckin’ jealous!!
Nice to see you.
Yes mate GC in Oz, It’s a great place to live but the down side is I no longer have my Molineux 25 mins up the road. On the up side as long as we stay in the prem I get to see every game on sat. tv so we have to stay up!
Cheers for the reply
Hear hear! 🙂 That’s made me comforted!
Wolves 2 – Fulham 1, we have more tao play for
Fulham o wolves 1
If it were home, I think we’d pull at least a point.
Fulham 2
Wolves 1
Afraid I am. Fulham 2 Wolves 1. Hmmmmm.
Really do not think it would be clever to change the team from last week if Doyle is fit. Foley & Zubar were strong down the right flank. Edwards at times looks ineffective but covers a lot of ground & closes down well. We’d have to go 5 in midfield away against skillfull opposition like Fulham. The WBA farce showed how poor we can be going for an all out attacking line-up.
The defence is error prone that is the problem. But keep the same five together is going to be the only way some stability & understanding is going to develop. RJ just has not fitted in, I like the idea of keen & hungry players like Stearman who is local just, both Berra & Steers do give their all, as does Ward who needs to have Jarvis tracking back with him to be efffective at stopping skillful players like Odemwingie who took him to the cleaners. Don’t think we can afford to gamble too much at this stage. It would be nice to see Doyle behind Fletcher but we have not really played it yet, and it would just be too risky to try now.
Watch out for Pobgrebnyak or whatever his name is too after quality goals in the last two games. I fancy us to nick another point – 1-1.
Ray wilkins on talksport was interviewed for wolves job, but he was turned down. Morgan rang him to say they were goin to give job to connor. Wilkins said he was disappointed and it wasnt what he wanted to hear. He really wanted the job
Info re Wilkins blows a very large hole in Greaseball and Moron’s statement that only one was offered the job.
They think this has all gone away but it hasn’t.
FOJMANDSM.
Wilkins was turned down – he was never offered the job!
Like i have said earlier Moron & poxey are tight arsed lying bastards.
still think Butch Wilkins would be a good addition even now.UTW.
Listening to talksport on the commute home from work, Middlesbrough fan rings up and questions why Wolves have loaned them Hamill, as he was a ‘revelation’ today, thus followed by Savage saying he hasn’t a clue why we did, and he’s one of the most talented players he’d seen.
Hmmm.
On the other hand, its about time we performed on sky, Doyle is going to be key to survival. 2-1 Wolves.
Very worrried that we will find ourselves back in the bottom 3 on GD.
Fulham 3 – Wolves 0
2-2 again but this time we’ll go 2 up!
I’m remembering the game from last season (I think) which had only 1 shot on goal all game. Think 2morrow will b just as dull but hope not! Going fulham 0-1 Wolves. Bout time we got a clean sheet! COTW!!
After what feels like my first ever correct score prediction, I’m going for a seemingly unlikely Wolves win 1-0. Much as I want to predict a West Ham away-esque 3-1 performance of two seasons ago, 1-0 it is and wouldn’t that be fantastic!
We’ll need to ride our luck and take the few chances that we create as I think TC will set=up for a draw, packing the midfield.
Like others, I’d also comment that Hammil on loan doesn’t look good, but you can understand it when Foley is now getting the nod ahead of him.
After yesterday’s results we have a chance to capitalise and get a little bit of breathing space IF we can get a result!
Even a draw would be welcome!
Doyle up top on his own. Lets hope it works
We have been woeful so far.
O’Hara is not fit.
Kightly anonymous.
Foley a liability.
Oh dear……
Half time report: By Christ, how many light years further ahead of us are Fulham? They’re in our faces when we’ve got the ball, and when we (inevitably) give it away, forward they sweep with pace and menace. This Russian geezer they have is quite the striker too. Our defending on the corner for the first was laughable (ok shouldn’t have been a corner, but that’s no excuse for going to sleep).
TC needs an even better halftime pep-talk than the one he pulled out the hat last week. We’re getting marmalised all over the park.
I have absolutely no idea what Foley is supposed to be doing in midfield. Which looks like more than he does. An absolute liability .
Having said that the whole team looks what they are…. Out of their depth.
(Apart from Hennessy who will be gone if we go down).
Can someone tell me why we keep on kicking it long to the smallest player on the pitch. Why we have a RB in midfield. Why we have 3 of our best players on the bench. Why O’Hara walks around pitch giving the ball away and why is Beara playing? Sorry to moan
Worst performance i’ve seen in a long long time, and that’s taken some doing. Only Doyle and Hennesey looked anything like we know they can play. The rest of them mere passengers.
We’re going down fast if these players don’t want to play for us. Sad fact is that they’re probably as fed up as we are. And who can blame them. No one left to sack now, Morgan. Not unless you fancy giving Steve Weaver or Pat Mountain a chance? Absolute nightmare.
Well, I can’t add any value to this blog today, because after that I am speechless.
Shambles-TC a sacrificial lamb. Greaseball looking forward to the parachutes and his bonus.
Moron has fiddled while Molineaux burned.
Same players same problem-no pace O’Hara can’t run. Slowly going down the tubes.
Disgrace.
Why are we so surprised, its been coming since the end of last season, but blinkered fans want profit over performance..
Average Championship side at best. Well out of our depth, now we are left with overpaid Players who don’t want to play for the club. No one wants to manage us!
No investment in 3 years. stood still instead of moving forward…
Morgan OUT!!! Moxey OUT!!! TC OUT!!!
I don’t think we are surprised, Nige. It think we all wanted and hoped that something might happen for us, especially with the tiniest glimmer of hope in that second half at Newcastle. I don’t think there’s a single person left who doesn’t recognise and accept that we are in serious trouble. If anybody doesn’t see it then they’re dilusional and blinkered. We all know who is responsible for this situation and it’s not going to change any time soon. Whether we get behind the team or not, sadly it looks like they’ve given up hope. I sincerely hope we can turn it around, but no, I won’t be surprise anymore if we don’t. And that, more than anything, makes me sad.
We are all going to fight for TC. That’s what we were told. Well I did’nt see one outfield player who looked like he cared, that was again embarrassing on national TV. Can’t recall seeing a worse back four Berra and stearman championship at best, where zubar plays only he knows, Foley is never a midfielder o,hara 50% fit and I just feel sorry for Doyle. I fear next week is the last chance can’t say I’m looking forward to it
Doyle or Fletch up top?
Doyle dose nothing for me. Not saying he was to blame back 4 and NO midfield has been to blame all season. Wigan,Bolton and Wolves in that order to go down. Still will followthe Wolves though the dark times. 🙁
I missed the game, thankfully!
Second time in three games we completely buggered up, by the sounds of it? What the hell has happened – the players should be fighting for us but obviously they didn’t today! Newcastle was decent, but what happened here??
Same old Rubbish Hamlet. Went out to play for a 0-0. Never gonna happen. We sat back at the edge of the box and just let them play round us and through us.. It was a matter of time again before they got the goal and then just a question of how many..
We were lucky to keep it to 5-0 and not 1 player performed to his best.
To be honest this was a typical MM display, there was nothing new from conner..
Bring back Sir Jack, for all his good work is going up in smoke.
Morgan OUT!!! Moxey OUT!!! TC OUT!!!
No point calling for anyone’s head – nothing will change until the end of the season – but enough about the manager and owners. Based off what I’ve heard, the Wolves players need to take a long hard look at themselves – they should be playing their socks off to keep this club in the PL, and they failed in both the BCD and today. Not to say that managers are blameless but they are the only ones who can keep us up!
Its Not Gonna Happen…
You just cant do Premier League on the cheap..
Playing their socks off wont keep us up.
They can’t trap the ball they can’t control the ball with one touch.
They can’t pass the ball without giving it away.
They have no pace, they have no awareness and they have no skill.
You can’t do premier league on the cheap.
Morgan OUT!!! Moxey OUT!!! TC OUT!!!
That is it precicesly.
Hamlet, i’ve got a telly and i didn’t miss the game. We didn’t lose because we didn’t try, We lost because we were outclassed and out of our depth. No blame to TC or the players who can only be as good as they are.
We have only 3 players you might call real premiership class, Hennessy, Fletcher and, possibly, Doyle. The fault lies with the owner, CEO and previous manager who allowed this to happen.
Okay the, look at it this way – which game did we play better in? This one or Newcastle?
Really didn’t expect to win this game, but 5-0 seems a little excessive. And even at that score, it would have been OK if we had actually tried to play soccer and not just whale it towards Doyle.
No one really stood out as horrible or good today. Foley was invisible though, he should play right back or nothing.
Not surprised tbh. Fulham are a decent side and we are just atrocious. Fair play to the fans who stayed behind and clapped the team today but I can’t help but feel it’s all a bit pointless. I’m now in the mid-set of any point we gain is a tremendous result – as i am consigned to losing every game. Blackburn next – almost as important as last season but I get the impression we will fold once again. Sad times. Wolves 0 – 3 Blackburn.
TC not MM but same old Wolves – including TC’s after match comments. Stopped short of saying ‘we put a shift in’.
Whilst I wanted Mick out months and months ago, I understood the dismissal when it came on the basis that (at the time) we had 13 games for new voices, new messages, new tactics – but no we even screw that up.
I’ve renewed my E/B cus it doesn’t matter that we are screwed because Wolves is MY club and will continue to be when Morgan has taken his increased investment back to Liverpool – but feel lower tonight than I have done in a long time. Even after the 5-1 to Albion, I was able to console my self that MM would now surely be gone – but I can’t see any upside to today. UTW
It’s hard being a Wolves fan isn’t it?
At least next season in the championship we should be able to look forward to more wins… ?
Should we ?
And we will have a nice new terrace bar to serve us at £5 a pint….
Morgan OUT!!! Moxey OUT!!! TC OUT!!!
Totally inept display from all quarters, management for not recognising after 10 minutes we where being over run with 1 up front, with the ball coming back at us as soon as its released
from the keeper’s hands,i don’t see any changes now nor do i see any in the future.we looked lethargic and like we did’nt give a shite no fight what so ever.its been a mistake appointing connor should have got in someone with some proper football nous.but i don’t blame connor i blame MORGAN & POXEY for putting us in this position by not investing in good player’s when we had the chance,i think clubs shortsightedness will cost us.
its exactly the same as it was under MM only worse. looks like we’er going down and with this
side, we won’t be coming back up because we are incapable of playing any sort of football.still think we need a full clear out from top to bottom then start over again thats the only way.feel utterly pissed off,but why should i ,i should be used to it.FOJM-FOSM.Still think its not to late to appoint Wilkins.
I agree Johnok.. Wilkins was my choice all along. Why did they not bring him in to even assist Conner. The whole thing smacks of stupidity of the board, they seem incapable of making correct footballing calls at the right time, look at the QPR owner yesterday, sitting in with the fans getting some idea what they think looking to the future.
These are business people not football people..
Change is required from the top to the bottom..
Morgan OUT!!! Moxey OUT!!! TC OUT!!!
Yep i agree but what do we know, could you see them pair t..ts sitting with the crowd i don’t think so they would get lynched from that new stand we never wanted or needed.FOJM,FOSM,FOTC.
I didn’t expect anything from this game but the surrender is so disappointing. My only thought after this rubbish was….What is the problem with this group of players ?? and then the reason… They’re just c**p and they shouldn’t be playing at this level. PL or Ch next season there must be a clearout of about 7 or 8 players, they are just not up to it.
This season now comes down to those 3 matches, Black****, Bol***, and W****.
9 points against this shower and we’re almost safe. I can just see it now, final day of the season we need a win to stay up and we go there and do it.
Up the Wolves !!!!
FOWB.
Hennessy, Foley, Ward, Berra, Stearman, Henry, Jarvis (Edwards would have started today if not injured, and Kightly would have started almost 3 years ago if not injured!) all started our final game in the Championship on 03/05/2009!!!!
Almost 3 years on and not a lot has changed. Where’s the progress???
“Say No More”
who thinks wolves are going down this season
roger johnson disgrace turning up to training drunk.should have captancy taken off him
