Just when you thought Monday mornings couldn’t get more miserable…

…Sixteenth in the league, a myriad of match reports to avoid and as you turn up the radio to drown out the noisy neighbours, you catch wind of another story you thought you’d never hear.
Emmanuel Frimpong has joined Charlton Athletic on loan.
From a glimmer of ‘Dench’ back to predictable stench as a player we deemed unfit joins a respected Premier League stalwart who thought otherwise.
When Jez Moxey said ‘it could get worse before it gets better,’ back in September, even he couldn’t have bargained for a mess like this?
At the very moment Wolves fans reach their lowest ebb, another piece of contradictory, confusing news is wafted up our noses like a Steve Morgan beer fart.
Whether the Arsenal reserve would have solved the answer to our endless on-field problems is debateable.
What is not is the baffling excuses peddled out to justify our reason not to bring back a player who – according to his twitter feed alone – wanted to ‘come home.’
That the manager argued David Davis’ case as a better midfield candidate is infuriating enough.
But worse still was the assertion that Frimpong wasn’t even fit in the first place – a baffling assertion when Chris Powell thought otherwise, as if his ‘busy Christmas period’ doesn’t apply to our quality laded squad full of winners?
Surely in the crude commercial terms that Steve Morgan exclusively operates in, a Frimpong return would have put a few extra bums on seats and at least neutralise the whiff of apathy that is already overpowering.
In footballing terms, we were told that Stale Solbakken watched 38 DVDs from last season , including Frimpong’s five game cameo.
If he still can’t see that playing 4-4-2 with these irreplaceable failures cannot work, then he’s far less revolutionary than we were once told. (The last game we won was with a 4-5-1 system which has been ditched ever since)
In short, Wolves fans have barely needed a lift more than now and for a number of reasons, Frimpong could have delivered.
Under Morgan’s age of ‘managed decline’, gates are dropping, hospitality tables sit empty and my mojito runneth over.
Let’s hope it refreshes my taste buds better in January than it does right now…

One word: Gutted!
Morgan sits on his treasure chest , will anyone prize it open ?
I’m left pretty speechless by this. The guy isn’t fit enough to play for us but he is fit enough to play for Charlton!!!!! What the hell is that all about.
Surely he would have gained any match fitness required by playing for us.
Here we have a 20 year old, brought up on Arsenals passing style, which are supposed to be trying to emulate and we reject the opportunity to take him on loan.
He is the ideal replacement for Henry or could play alongside him.
It beggars belief, especially when he wanted to come here.
Do you think he will want to come in January after this rejection?
No wins in the last 7 and I think I’m right in saying the loan window closes in a couple of days. Once again we have no one in and I wonder if a similar situation will arise in January.
Totally p*ss*d off.
A decent loan soldier. If he had done well he could have ended up signing a permanent deal. I don’t know, he has a terrible injury record – too injury prone. Who knows if he’s performs at charlton, maybe we’ll make a move then? I’m not spending any negative energy on Frimpong. There is an ocean of talented footballers out there.
Stale didn’t say Davis was a better midfield candidate
Thank fuck for that! I’d have been seriously worried if he did say that!
‘That the manager argued David Davis’ case as a better midfield candidate is infuriating enough.’
so why did you say he did?
‘cos he misinterpreted what Stale said – easy enough to make that mistake I would have thought! He did say though that he’d give Davis the chance to ‘prove himself’ though if I remember…
Davis “chance to prove himself” + turning down Frimpong = Stale thinks Davis is better than Frimpong.
Worrying.
He said it would be ‘rude’ to Davies to bring Frimpong in, this Davies who was again on the bench on Saturday despite Henry being out. So now we are more concerned about upsetting the little darlings than bringing in a player who just might have brought some energy to the midfield, at least it looked that way last term.
I was at Watford on Saturday and it was clear that even in the 20 minutes or so before Berra was sent off, they were sharper and quicker to the ball than us – and they created space when they hadn’t got the ball, something we seem incapable of doing.
I’m sick and tired at the way this club is being run by Dumb & Dumber. You only have the look back at the managerial debacle to see where it all started.
We have become a laughing stock with no ambition.
God help WWFC whilst them two are around.
Interesting that Eggert Jonsson also went to Charlton just a week ago.
Anyone else think these two deals aren’t completely unrelated?
I’d be intrigued to know all the ins and outs of how this unfolded.
With Henry suspended and Doumbia potentially injured, the scenario of a Davis, Edwards central midfield partnership is very much upon us (gulp).
Interesting. In what sense could they be related?
I’m not optimistic about a Davis/Edwards midfield either, but perhaps this will be a chance for Davis to get an extended run-out in the team. If he has got the potential Stale thinks he has, this is the time to find out.
Maybe something like:
* Charlton were interested in Frimpong but the player had shown a preference for Wolves.
* Wolves offered Jonnson on loan on the proviso that Charlton cooled their interest.
* Wolves then subsequently pulled out of the race until January due to concerns over fitness.
* Charlton therefore had green light to make the move happen.
Could all just be an unhappy coincidence I suppose.
Eggert played 65 minutes for them at the weekend. Be interesting to see if he continues to get a game.
Well you never know, I’m sure lots of this kind of stuff goes on. Charlton’s injury problems must be massive if they’re taking Eggert and a half-mobile Frimpong on loan. I really think there must be serious problems with either his fitness or the finance of the deal if we said no. Despite the distinct antipathy torwards MMs and Stale in these comments, they can’t be that stupid.
I lose track of all these ‘assets’ we have out on loan all the time. Sometimes it feels like we’re speculating in the player market rather than building a team for the future.
Also, why don’t we give Leigh Griffiths a go in the team? Is this purely because he’s a bit of a tosser?
I think you’re right Thomas, the two deals were related.
65 minutes of Jonnson and Powell said, ‘For fuck’s sake get someone else in quick! Don’t get care how fit they are.’
Seems a long shot that tbh – it’s like someone giving you one of those cheap chocolate coins on the condition that they can have a tub of Quality Street for themselves…
We haven’t won in seven, are closer to the bottom of the championship than the top yet we don’t appear to feel our squad needs strengthening in the current loan window . . . . . . after we hear the spin that it may take two or three windows to get the players we want. What total boll*x. Please, somebody tell me what this is about.
And could someone also explain how Frimpong could possibly contribute less to our cause than Pennant has.
Once again the Undynamic Duo Dumb and Dumber show how little they have between their ears
when it comes to running our club.
Frimpong said he couldn’t do a deal-this has the greasy hand of Moxey all over it.
Think it was signing Doumbia or Frimps on loan.
How come The Builder is so quiet.
The power struggle continues and SS is the patsy.
The ghost of The Bhattis stalks the Molineaux corridors.
Was Stale towing the party line in his comments ? Would a manager in his position really not want Frimpong ?
It wasnt too much of an insult to Davis not to pick him.
I’m sure Davis has a thick enough skin, having been loaned out to Inverness Caledonian Thistle!
It seems to be more Stale’s decision than anything Morgan-related so if you want to be pissed at someone for this get pissed at him! He said that it’d be unfair on Davis and Frimpong wasn’t fully fit yet so let’s wait and see if he does well at Charlton…if he does Stale needs to admit his mistake and if not then he’s justified. I’m reserving judgement on this in other words – though if we can get a fully fit Frimpong in next transfer window…
I don’t trust the current regime so I’m not surprised, just constantly disappointed.
Questions will be asked – they will be answered in the usual “don’t you think we do what we feel is best for the club” patrionising manner.
Bad times. Painfully bad.
Since MM left i think there has been some behind the scenes footballing decisions taken by someone.Who signed Nouble and why ? If the results dont change soon there is going to be some tough questions to answer.
I’m all for the “give a manager time to show us what he’s about” argument to a point but SS times up! You’ve had the option of loans and rejected them so this is all down to your choice of squad now. Be judged on that and expect to get roasted if we see more of this crap every week.
I’m never quite sure if this is really down to the Manager or the reek of Greaser and No Ambition is part of it. Whichever we are undoubtedly in free fall and where that ends I’m not 100% sure at the moment as many 1st Divison clubs would skin us as we stand without breaking sweat.
Despite all the various views few if any could argue we lack attack and bite and goals are as rare as a happy Wolves fan! I would also venture that Frimpong is a far more attacking player than any of our midfield -Sako aside and that he would have slotted in well with Sako. That all Wolves fans seemed to want in him shows you how much our views are thought of, fair enough as we don’t run the club but hold that thought at Christmas when we are bouncing the drop zone.
Like almost everything to do with football these days this is all down to money and as long as Greaser can milk his obscene salary (did his drop on relegation like the players-not a chance!?!) and Mr No Ambition can get his building projects done we are unlikely to be anything better than a mid table Championship side -so get used to it!
All very sad given the sustained progress under Sir Jack which continued to feed through after he stood aside and now we reap the real consequences of Morgans rein-where is he, does he give a stuff about Wolves?
Spot the contradiction…
“November 19, 2012 at 1:55 PM (Quote)
I’m all for the “give a manager time to show us what he’s about” argument to a point but SS times up!”
That said, disappointed to see Frimpong go elsewhere
Well it may be slightly contradictory but time stops for no man (or woman) and the time for bold action is now not when we are rooted at the foot of the table like last season.
My point being is this another “I am happy with my squad” statement like Mc Donut last season or is it simply a “shut up SS you have no money” from Greaser. Either way the key issue is Frimpong isnt good enough currently to grace our team..something I doubt we will find to be the case once we see him start at Chralton.
I think AlfWhite hit the nail on the head:
Frimpong twittered that ‘they couldn’t do a deal’.
There are three implications there;
1. He wanted to come
2. SS wanted him to come
3. The money was not made available.
Morgan is milking the club for cash with his various ‘development projects’ when the only thing that really needs developing is the squad.
Stale has recently stated he may need two or three transfer windows to stamp his mark on the team. Hardly suggests he his happy with the current squad at his disposal.
Whilst agreeing in general with your disappointment that Frimpong has gone elsewhere, let’s not kid ourselves that he is the answer to all our current problems. Under McCarthy we enjoyed a great 2-3 seasons before it became clear he and his team had taken us as far as they could. Now is time to evolve and create a new squad capable of achieving even higher. That will take time to allow a new manager to assess who he wants to keep and who needs moving on, and most importantly, patience from the fans to allow him to do so. Reading most of comments in this forum, I’m worried that the later is in very short supply…
17 league games!! ‘Times up’! give the bloke a bloody chance!
Strangely exactly the same comment I got last season after 18 games when I said we wre destined for the drop unless the squad was improved even the most misty eyed happy clapper should have seen that we were not good enough and although it pains me nothing has changed.
I’ll stick by my guns and say we wont do anything with this team. If SS wants to play the passing game which is 100% fine by me he needs to buy/loan some player who can actually pass……and then of couse some who can score!
I simply do not believe that Frimpong would not have enhanced our midfield. Before his injury I likened him to a budget version of Patrick Vierra. I can’t really same the same about any current members of our squad.
WHERE HAS ALL THE FUCKING MONEY GONE ??
We are about to sell Griffiths on for 150k, when we dont have anyone who can score a fucking goal. frimpong to charlton? look, im trying to find the positives, but we got 30 mil on player sales and have spunked only 10mil … so
We pledge allegiance to Ward and Berra (with the worst defence in England)
We announce we “already have a player like leigh griffith” (when we clearly dont)
We turn down Frimpong when we have just lost henry.
Bullshit and lies… I guess the time for revolution is fast approaching.
Here is a transcript of a message I have left on the Wolves Facebook page. I don’t know if anyone who matters reads these things but there is an argument that if all Wolves Blog contributors flood the thing with similar comments, perhaps someone might just notice that we are not very happy about the way things are:-
A short questionnaire for Mr Morgan & Mr Moxey.
What are you doing to our club?
Where is the money from the Fletcher/Jarvis/Kightly transfers?
Why has Frimpong gone to Charlton when we are in desperate need of some midfield creativity and power?
Why do we persist with ‘the passing game’ when it is quite obvious that the present players are not up to it?
Why did we spend a huge amount of money on building a new stand when we should have been investing in a team to stay in the Premiership?
Why are there proven goalscorers out on loan when we need them at the Molineux?
There are thousands of Wolves supporters who are losing (or have already lost) faith in the way this club is being run, do you not think that we deserve a statement of intent from the management so we have at least some hope that this great club won’t continue its downward slide into obscurity?
They will de-friend you.
I am going to do the same but doubt they will give a shit.
Our mistakes go way back before MM was sacked. fact is ever since moxey arrived.
We have all seen the strange decisions and heard the excuses. Same old mindless drivel.
We have heard them all, we can even see them coming. In any business success usually comes if you just apply yourself and simply keep quietly doing the right things. Doing the right thing will almost always over come bad luck and misfortune.
But you do need to know what the right thing is! Our current owner and his chosen one clearly do not.
No more excuses time is up. You have failled totally and have managed us to the lower hallf of the Chump. Your methods and strategy do not work. When you said you had ambitions you lied.
Any good organisation sets objectives, I wonder what SSs are, keep us in the Championship. Its clear why the Liverpool Board ran SM out of Dodge City.
well written and thanks
Well put DOOGooder, I spouted last season, what we needed was that petition to tell this pair
of scally’s and the spineless board that we won’t let this club be dragged into obscurity,so like said last season time is at the essence to know where our club is going or not going to be honest.
Nothing will ever change until we get rid of that fat weasel moxey,he deluded sir jack now he’s doing the same to morgan.
I thought SS was going to be a match for moxey but we all know who’s pulling the strings don’t we,so who’s the puppet.
I fear the worst now, don’t know where we are going to get another win from the way we are playing, forest up next lets hope they don’t turn up and we get the three points because the way we’re playing at the mo we ain’t going nowhere.
Thomas or Ben if things don’t improve how about a petition.
Just to add salt to your wounds over there, the mighty Houston Dynamo have just reached the MLS Final, for the second year running, and will face, for the second year running, the LA Galaxy, with our very own own Robbie Keane scoring for fun.
He will be available soon, how about an offer for him?
We could do much worse.
Why does nobody upstairs at wwfc see the blatantly obvious ???? Why not bring him in, class player worth the gamble. I think they wanna keep the wage bill as low as possible, let someone else pay it!! It’s all bout money. Joke absolute joke,I didn’t think they could go down a Cupla weeks ago , now I’m not so sure. Is there a conspiracy to ruin the club! Worrying times, my respect for ss is starting to wane
best run this season was when we never had coach ,all we do is acumlate deadwood? get rid of this lot.
Good post Ben. Sums up the dire state of affairs very well.
I wish there was some gratification forthwith from saying “I said so months ago” but there is none. Just a hollow feeling of despair knowing that this is all going to end up a whole lot worse before much longer.
Just like there was no Frimpong, there will be no January reinforcements, and for those still deluding themselves that the Hoddlebakken “vision” (whatever the hell that may be) will one day magically kick in, it’s not going to happen.
After all, who would sign an unfit and unprepared player like Frimpong with both Championship and Premiership experience? Surely not the genious who signed the ever-present, ever-reliable, fully fit and functional, dazzling and delivering, Margaritter, Nouble, Sigurdson and Pennant!
I still have not seen a shred of evidence of capability from this guy, and certainly no semblence of results against opposition that really doesn’t exactly require Jose Mourinho to figure out.
makes depressing reading leaving us exactly as poor as we are! silence cometh from above as per usual . bugger off back north before you totally destroy not only the club but the love we all have for her.. once again the manager will end up the fall guy whilst the clowns in ivory tower will once again rob us..whilst probably laughing in our faces
I think you’ve said it all Ben.
Our current squad does not contain enough quality to play an effective passing game (a style that I would like to see).
I hold a diminishing hope that STS will strengthen the weak areas come January!
I heard last week .stale was told if he uses our squad we have now and see where we are in Jan HE would be given same to spend again ie 10mil on players HE chooses and any emergency loans would be taken from this budget so hopefully he knows of better players that can enhance our squad long term.
Stale also said when he first arrived he would integrate the youth so hopefully it will be start or Davis and wishfully ismail on wing wen we send peanut back
“on players he chooses”. Not a chance. Suppose he chooses someone who wants higher wages than our maximum? Unless it is outrageously more money, do we say “back the manager” or do we say “sorry, Stale, pick somebody cheaper”?
HE chose sako boukari peszko marg didnt he? Or are we thinking jez and steve scouted these . Not alot of managers ever get there first choice players in
I am 43 yrs old and have seen more downs than ups as a member of the faithful but I have never felt as bad as I do now about my beloved club. I do not even get excited about going on Saturday afternoons anymore. We play pointless passionless football with no real pattern to the play, lets face it even when we where 3rd in the table we were awful.
How did the footballing knowledge of Moxey and Morgan come up with Stale, erm they have no knowledge and there lies the problem. We need a shake up now before its too late and that lies with them taking action.
Time to go SS?
Mr Cassar, I couldn’t agree with you more! It’s not just SS that needs to go though. The whole rotten crew. We need an owner who is genuinely interested in investing in making this a great football club again, and hire the right people to do so.
Why are we all surprised. If you look at the footballing decisions and timing of them over the last 3 years, our current board have got very little right and most of the big ones wrong. Im gonna say, i expect frimpong to play very well for charlton, get fit, and then go somewhere else on loan for rest of season. Our board just have not got a clue!
Patience is the key here.
It will take until next season for us to have a different squad.
Blaming the manager is very short sighted.
Doumbia and Sako have been very good signings.
Sigurdarson has potential as does Boukhari and we played better with Pezsko.
The total of my ambition regarding Wolves is that we are reasonably safe from relegation come January.
Shame about Frimpong but Morgan & Moxey hold the purse strings not the manager.
Isn’t it obvious why we didn’t get Frimpong on loan? Money! Last season we were paying Premiership wages (all right very low Prem wages but still Prem wages). This year we are paying reduced wages to our own and I guess loan players as well, so we no doubt wouldn’t match his salary at Arsenal. He even hinted this a couple of days ago.
What’s the big issue with Frimpong’s fitness?!?!
Pennant still isn’t fit ffs and he wasn’t as needed as Frimpong is.
When Pennant signed we could’ve not bothered and stuck Edwards or even Foley out wide (in fact we did in our last win!!!!!!!).
However without signing Frimpong we are stuck with David Davis in the middle.
I’m pretty sure if you count the scorelines when Davis has been on the pitch we’d be in the bottom 3.
Everytime he plays we lose and when he comes off the bench we give up a lead to draw.
“He deserves his chance” Are you feeling OK Stale? I could’ve told you last season this lad wasn’t good enough. I didn’t need a disastrous first 1/3 of the season to help make my mind up.
Apparently Stale needs even longer. The fact he thinks he’s remotely up for it worries me massively about our manager’s judgement.
If Stale has lost the respect of his senior players over tactics (as is being reported in the press and supported by rumours) then either he or the starting XI (bar Ikeme and Sako) need sacking.
Of course it’s Morgan and Moxey that have created this mess in the first place, but it will take relegation before the supporters are angry enough to chase them out of our club.
I can sort of see the fitness argument but if ever the fans needed a lift it was now. Last season you could see in five games Frimpong was head and shoulders above anything we have so he could walk this league and given a few games would surely have got fit. The only reason to watch at the moment is Sako and the falling crowds show whatever we are trying to do is just not working. This was the chance to show us the club would at least try they have let us down, the money is there what’s the problem we deserve to be told and told the truth for once. The silence from the boardroom is deafening.
If nothing else, signing Frimpong would have been a good PR move and maybe would have done something to repair the fractured relationship between the boardroom and the fans.
But, no. Another trick missed while they’re concentrating on the monstrosities they’re calling executive houses at Compton Park.
I should point out this is my best case scenario…my worst case scenario is that the board just doesn’t care about the relationship with the fans.
Us fans are shite on their shoes, thats what they think of us.All they think about is money.
Losing patience fast.
I, like most of our happy bloggers have never really trusted the motives of the dynamic duo ( I refuse to lower the tone of my message by mentioning them by name ) not even when we were riding up in the PL did I trust their conniving behind the scenes and recent developments re: funding for players, building arrangements, new stand, new training ground etc….have only confirmed my worst fears for the club. I honestly believe that Ståle is a naive newcomer who is oblivious to their dealings and as such is not tainted by their double crossing and devious nature. Like you all I am having great difficulty adjusting to our lower status and am searching for reasons why, rather than blaming the incumbents. However the more I try to rationalise the situation the more I feel that we are being let down yet again by the same people as before. This leaves an unpleasant taste especially after I am on record as being a follower of the breath of fresh air which has blown through the club since Ståle’s arrival. Even allowing for the time scale necessary to bed-in new systems and styles of play and the obvious sincerity which Ståle brings, I fear that our only way forward is a massive spend to recruit the type of player that is required for the new era to get better. As I said on a previous thread the CH is full of teams who know how to survive in the CH and their raison d’etre is to survive. They have no aspirations of PL nor League 1 and these are the dross that we are unable to come to terms with. Their style of play is direct, it never changes because it’s more often than not effective and it doesn’t cost a lot of money to reproduce. On the other hand what WW aspire to costs a lot and will only get more expensive, hence the reluctance to spend as it can quite easily come crashing to the ground without regular re-spends in the future. Yes the more I rationalise, the more certain I am as to who it is who is blocking our progress. I hope Ståle is blessed with enormous quantities of patience and determination as he will need it.
As ever UTW !!!!!
Nice one cwmbranwulf very well put ,i hope they read it,but they won’t.
Like you.UTW.Without them pair of bastards in charge i hope.
My understanding of the time it took the Morgan deal was to ensure that the deal with Sir jack was bulletproof and that the new oowner really had to pit 35 Mill of his money into the club.
Its kind of hard to figure. maybe on paper he has, but what safeguards stop him taking it out.
OK the economy is a mess and will probably get worse. Making it a great time to bond with the fans who so loyally spend their money.
I just noticed that FB Wolves site has over 41,000 who like. Moxey thats the base you have to work from. Any business with half a brain can see that the West Midlands market is there for the taking and we have the loyal base to take it.
Thhat you have frittered this away is a testimony to abject failure. We dont want money thrown around we just want treating properly nad seeing proper football decisions and development made.
Frimpong is an unbelievable decision.
Even at 70% fit he is better than most of our squad.
Something Stinks well and truly at Molineux and its coming from the top.
Just listened to Radio WM coverage of the fans forum with the manager.
I for one don’t think his English is actually that good. I found myself getting confused by some of what he was saying, so maybe the players do too.
If he wants to be an Arsenal great, but they actually haven’t won that much in the last 10 years.
We will never reach that Level unless we pay Arsenal type wages and we all know that is not going to happen.
Very sad days again.
I agree with a lot of the comments in this Blog, but the lack of statement from the 2 m’s is quite worrying.
When do they say anything and if they do when does it mean anything?
When is it followed through – the mythical treasure chest is a prime example of many you could chose. Its b*ll*x.
I really couldn’t care less what David Davis thinks. Simple question: What division do you think he will be playing in when he’s 28 (peak)…
I see the club have opened contract talks with Berra, and made Ward captain on Watford to acknowledge his 200th appearance. If that is the sum of the clubs ambition we are truly f****d.
Both players are n`t good enough for the prem, and if thats where we aim to go back to, whats the point in keeping either of them. Get rid, they are both stuck in a losing mentality comfort zone, still earning too much money and still failing. Berra was sent off for fouling a player who was recently at Walsall, and Ward has for years been found out for lack of pace, and more, simply shite.
If the board don`t let the manager sign at least four or five new players who can adapt to his new system in January then write the season off. Then no amount of spin or discounting will sell the early birds next year – i for one won`t be buying. Maybe the club are praying O`Hara is fit in Jnaury to help knit the team together – and thats the reason we passed on Frimpong.
What a complete shambles, no leadership in the boardroom, no leadership on the pitch. Wheres the ambition, is there a plan in place beyond making an accounting profit at year end, is there a plan of any sort on the football side of the business – if so what is it ?
Were gonna do this.. were gonna do that.. yours truly, JM & SM
Is that what you lot want? More egg on our big fat weemabigclub faces. There’s only one hope to alleviate some of this anxiety, get behind the team Saturday and Tuesday just like the 2nd half against Brighton. We need the 6 points. WAW WAW WAW
“If he still can’t see that playing 4-4-2 with these irreplaceable failures cannot work, then he’s far less revolutionary than we were once told. (The last game we won was with a 4-5-1 system which has been ditched ever since).”
Yes. Bang on, Ben. This actually worries me even more than issues about individual players like Frimpong.
Beckham to wolves!
WM reporting this morning that Boukari has suffered a “setback” in his comeback from injury…he pulled his calf in September and with this delay won’t be back until December…the chant “You don’t know what you’re doing” springs to mind in relation to what appears to be the worst sports medical team in the country.
yeah i heard they did their training at the somme but were sacked for not being good enough
its alright everyone! the result at watford apparently.. it was because stalle picked too attack minded a formation!! god help us if he really believes that! i was at watford and dont remember much attacking by our cronies….the only attacking i saw was at half time behind the stands whilst getting a drink!! this smacks of an article written by moxey not stalle although its becoming really apparent stalle is probably the wrong man for the job right now…we are looking like a right JOKE
This grand old club is being run by 2 morons for all the wrong reasons, Couple that to a team that would struggle against a girls under 13 side and you come up with doom more doom and gloom. At my age I’m too old to go down the divisions to rock bottom again, I would be dead before we got back to the Prem. It’s almost as bad as it ever was and me I just dispair.
Sorry I forgot to add a positive we are 10 points clear of the bottom and a negative we are 14 points off top spot after only 17 games.
YES – SOME GOOD NEWS AT LAST! Berra’s won his red card appeal so won’t be banned for the next 3 games. Phew! 😉
Berra’s won his appeal but the damage is done playing with 10 players – would have liked to see Danny Batth get a go.
For those that say Stale ‘times up’ but havent got a clue what would happen next i can give them the good news that a friend of a friend who knows someone who knows Alex Mcliesh says he might be interested.
Just reading about the Adam Hammill case and thinking about some of the signings we have made over the last 2 seasons while turning down cash strapped Palaces offer to us to take Victor Moses and then letting Shane Long go to wba when apparently his prefence was to join Wolves.
This is absolutely sickening. Frimpong is a fantastically talented player. Should have nabbed him straight away, even just to tie him down to the club so no one else pinches him as has happened! He’s the kind of player who’s worth that few months wages to get him back to full fitness anyway!
Can’t believe the management at this club.
Despite everything that has happened this season, this is the first thing that’s made me genuinely angry. Lets not just shoot ourselves in the foot once. Lets keep doing it over and over until we’ve blown our foot to kingdom come!
good thing abromovich doesnt own wolves, di matteo sacked after a run of 6 poor games … we’ve been shit since 2009
sorry for the outburst but ive been stewing over what i can only see as arrogance from Stale – We DONT have anyone in Leigh Griffiths mould at the club, Frimpong is a fantastic talent, and we “are not just on the right side of zero” fincancailly we have tens of millions surplus from sales of players and parachute payments … how much more of this bullshit are we expected to swallow?
