What a novelty it is to be able to pick my own heroes. I’ve gone for Kightly, SEB and the controversial addition of Andrew Keogh as a cheeky (cheap) sub.
The best thing about SEB and Kightly is that they’re incredibly cheap so it gives you the dosh to invest elsewhere in the team. For example, with SEB at only £5.5 million, I’ve been able to splash out £11.5 million on Rooney. The same applies to Kightly at £5.5 million, giving me the resources to draft in good old Frank Lampard for £12.5 million.
Obviously, my mates who aren’t Wolves fans (I try not to have many of these) will find it hilarious that I’ve picked 3 players from a team that are more than likely to struggle to stay in the league. But I have every confidence that SEB and Kites can do the business. Admittedly, Keogh is for novelty value more than anything else.
So what Wolves players will you be picking in your fantasy football team this year?
* Following suggestions from Nick and Ed, I’ve created a Fantasy Football league for followers of this blog. It’s hosted at Fantasy Premier League so head over there, sign-up and create a team. Once you’ve done that you need to enter our league and the code you need to do that is 193183-51022.
Remember, if you’re already a member of Fantasy Premier League, you can join up to 15 leagues, so why not come and join ours.
I’ll come up with some kind of Wolves related prize for the winner.

I’ve done the same thing, SEB, Kightly and Big George (just because i can, don’t think he’ll be getting me too many points) are all in my team. You should set up a league for readers of this blog.
I still pick Lescott and Robbie Keane in my teams cus it was the closest I could get to having Wolves players in my team in previous seasons. Can’t wait to be able to stick SEB in my team this year!!! First name on my teamsheet!!!
By the way, think we could probably do with adopting your formation in the picture for a few games next season too!!!!
Nicko, great shout. I’d join if you did one Tom
@Nick – I never even thought about Big George. Saying that, my team is called ‘Keogh Allstars’ so I need to have the main man in there somewhere.
@Ed – Yeah, a 5-5-3 with 2 keepers might give us a chance of a mid-table finish!
I’ve also taken your point Nick and created a league at Fantasy Premier League. Details have been added to the post. Come on over and join and feel free to mention to any mates who are interested.
Be good to get somewhere around the 20 team mark to make it competitive.
I’m joining right now, had a right laugh doing this fantasy league last season. Will be good to get the banter going on here.
Every one should use there name from the blog so we can give each other stick week in week out!!! HA HA
I’m in and my team is proper wicked……..6 in the leauge already. spread the word guys.
Hey Bey….Didn’t you win our leauge last year on this web site??? Get you team registerd.
Good idea this league. Beware the mighty Sarawak Crocs! Now who to sign to partner SEB…Robinho or Robbie Keane?
Not sure who to pair with him in my fantasy team either.
I’m banking on us scoring plenty this season, reflected in my trio of Kights, Sylvan and Doyle. Like you, seeing a Wolves kit with Doyle written underneath is something of a holy grail. Lets hope it doesn’t go all Eastwood.
Also boys, be honest, did anyone ever choose any Albion players, past or present, in previous leagues?
