It is my third Fans’ Parliament meeting on Feb 11 and as per the previous two, I’d like to ask if there are any burning issues that you would like to see me ask?

Transfer window inactivity? Permanent Sir Jack memorial ideas? Early bird announcements? Whatever it is, I’d like to hear from you and I’ll do my utmost to get some answers.
Up the Wolves!

Thanks again for going along on our behalf mate and bringing the shorthand out of retirement 🙂
Firstly, it would be great if you could on behalf of everyone at the blog commend the club for how they’ve handled the Sir Jack tributes. They did him justice, which is an achievement in itself. Makes you proud to be a Wolves fan.
Hard to think of issues as I feel generally pretty good about where the club are and where they’re going.
I suppose it would be good to flip it around on them and perhaps ask them what issues they think might on the horizon? What challenges lie ahead in the short and long term and how do they plan to address them?
I would be very interested to hear their response to that kind of question.
I am pleased that Wolves decided NOT to sell Sako, this will be rewarded with more fan attendances at the Mols.
I don’t know how fellow Wolves fans feel, but I would like to see a slight name change to the stadium, at the main entrance were it says Wolverhampton Wanderers F.C, put above it Sir Jack Haywards theirfore reading – Sir Jack Haywards, Wolverhampton Wanderers, Football Club.
Also a statue of the great man to the left of another great man – Billy Wright.
I too would like to thank the club on a wonderful send off for SJH, it was an honour and a privilege to be there, both in the ground and at Queens Square, cold! but an honour to witness it.
God Bless you SJH and Thank You!
Errrrrrrrrrrr, No! Stadium name should stay as it is. I would think that naming a stand after him would be good though. As for a statue, I agree with that.
I too would like to congratulate the club on Sir Jack’s funeral arrangements & also Rachael’s eulogy. Re questions at the Fans Parliament, why can we not have a video screen? I know there will be one when the stadium is developed further, but I think we should have one now.
I second that proposal.
I agree with the others who have praised the arrangements for Sir Jack’s Funeral. The Club and fans did him proud, as he so justly deserved.
I would also add my support to the earlier comment about the need for a video screen (& countdown clock) now, rather than when the next phase of stadium development is carried out.
We are lucky to have Sako back..I hope that we can give him the wages he deserves in the summer, but More so and surely, to negotiate a new contract,we must make him a lump some fee offer as well when / if we go up to the PL….
If we stay in the championship this season the fee will act as an incentive to keep with us and alternatively try the following…
If we still can’t do it then we let him go..
When will the 2 screens finally be removed. Weren’t they supposed to be removed 5 years ago?
Many thanks again Ben for getting down and dirty with the Molineux hierarchy.
Things on my mind:
As already stated, plaudits all round for Sir Jack’s funeral.
Kenny has kept saying that promotion is our target this season – what will be the strategy for the club if we DO go up? Will there be (big) money to spend in order to consolidate.
If we don’t gain promotion this season, will the the two M’s consider it a failure. And if so, will it be a failure of the coach and the team or a failure of them for not investing sufficient funds.
Also agree with the statue to Sir Jack outside the stadium.
But leave room for one to Steve Morgan after his enlightened ownership and generosity is recognised after we lift the Champions League Trophy in 2019.
Go gett’em Ben!
…….. and another for Moxey too, not next to Billiam or Steveo, but somewhere near Sandwell.
It’s getting repetitive, but agree with above concerning Sir Jacks funeral.
I am keen to know if the club are actively putting plans together for the following circumstance:
1.Direct promotion
2.Promotion via playoffs
3.Staying in Championship
I think all 3 alternatives near clear plans for player recruitment, retention and release.
It is clear that in the past we did not make such plans, so let’s see if the club has learnt from past mistakes.
I also think the questions Ben suggests are very worthy of asking.
Ben,
Thanks for your time, a precious commodity but some take that step forward on behalf of others, so Thanks again.
I have joined the Disabled Supporters Association (DSA) and attended their meeting last week, we were put in a cold room well away from the main part and with the snow on the ground every time the door opened there was an icy blast. They provided us with luke warm coffee and a poor excuse forTea but no himt of a biscuit or and sort of food for the guys. Pretty pathetic on the part of a wealthy club.
Could you raise the issue of perspex covers for ALL disabled supporters,( there is a need to emphasise that it was not just the North Bank), our Chair on the DSA will raise it again as he is on the case too. But we feel we should press such an important issue on their behalf.
It’s worth a mention that there is a covered area as you enter the North Bank carpark, we believe it to be for Smokers, does that mean smokers hold a higher priority than Disabled Supporters at thisHealth conscious club.
Our Chair is attending a meeting in London this Month that intends to push the FA and clubs on better conditions for Disabled, it has EU backing so they are only delaying the inevatable, so Wolves may as well be true leaders and set the standards.
Thank you Ben, I would appreciate all you can do on their behalf.

I agree, it would be great if we could be standard bearers for disabled supporters. Let’s lead the way and give us something else to be proud about.
Yeah, we’ve had enough disabled players on the pitch over the years!!!!
i would like to know when the club is going to redevelop the steve bull,as the ground and atmosphere is very poor, the steve bull looks dated now and the facilities are not up to scrastch, and with the rain an issue in the north bank what are the clubs plans with this ,woudent now be the best time to build whilst we get 22 23 thousand ,if the club go up and decide to build well have a smaller capacity, and i think with st stadium as it is now the atmosphere and acousticsis very poor,
Whilst it’s viable in the Championship, (where the standard of football is of a much lower quality), our last foray in the PL – in which MM and the board naively and stubbornly believed that a team largely made up of decent ‘young and hungry’ players could be competitive in the division – painfully illustrated that THIS IS NOT ENOUGH: the vast majority of successful teams need a balance between youth, experience and genuine quality.
When asked, not too long ago, what would be different should we get promoted in the PL again, Morgan worryingly replied “our academy”. Moreover, Jacket recently reiterated that the ‘young and hungry’ approach would be the one the club would persist with should we get promoted to the top flight.
Unfortunately the signings of messers Johnson and O’Hara have provided weight to the clubs’s decision to (again) go down the ‘young and hungry’ route, but c’mon…have we learnt nothing: pursuing this approach will ONLY take us so far.
Why have the club not learnt the painful lessons that were handed to the team nearly every week whilst in the PL??
I feel a bit sorry for the young lads and lasses that are trying to earn a few pounds on a Saturday and get a bar job in the north bank . They get moaned at by the fans that have to spend the whole of the half time queuing for a pint .they must be operating that bar on a system that they are being made to adhere to .
I don’t know about running a bar but common sense tells me that surely they know how many seats are being used , the previous games must tell them how many lagers were sold , how many bitters etc , so why can’t they have people pulling those pints just as people are asking for them instead of one person saying ” can I help you ? ” …. Yes two pints of lager please ,” and then tottering off and individually pouring two pints and so on .
No one wants flat beer but it ain’t rocket science !!!
Me thinks the only plan M and M have what ever league we are in is get as much revenue in a possible stick it under there mattresses, and then stick there fingers in there ears and go blarr…..de…blarr….de…blarr……hmmmm…hmmmm…yeah….yeah..we’re listening…..blarr….de…blarr
I’ve asked this in the fan surveys & in a letter to the club but I may as well ask it again & add another question.
When are we going to get a video screen & scoreboard?
When is the concourse in the Billy Wright going to be made wider so more than 4 fans can comfortably get past each other? Its like a herd of cattle getting to the bogs, trying to get any of the food or drink is a futile experience cos of queues, space & of course quality.
Cheers, I don’t exactly await with bated breath for a positive answer!
Thank you for representing us Ben.
My question is the same as last time: “Are Wolves prepared to invest in what it takes to remain in the EPL should we regain promotion”?
Twice now we have gone up and did not invest enough to stay. We are once again flirting with the possibility of promotion, and hearing this is the club’s goal. So what happens if we go up? Will there be the investment required to avoid a humiliating plummet back down?
I’d like to hear the long term commitment from the club!
Go Wolves !!!
Just an idea, but would the club consider selling bulk ticket packages for those who can’t commit to a season ticket, but not for specific games, more of a credit based system. Could be a good way of getting money in earlier if a discount is offered.
Can you also ask if Lee Evans is KJs love child? As I have no idea how he gets into the team.
BobbaWolf.
If you are the one who can’t get to the gamesthen you have exceptional vivsion. Your’e comment on Evans is spot on. He gives more away than Oxfam.
I don’t get to as many games as I’d like because of having a young family (can’t wait until my little lad is old enough to get a season ticket), but when I have been Evans only ever disappoints. He thinks he is really good, but actually flatters to deceive. You can see he’s never going to be good enough. I’d have price or Jacobs in ahead of him all day long.
All I want to know is ,if we ever get back into the prem are the club ready to give it a real go by investing in the team requirements ,or are we happy in the status quo,and stay where we are….
