December 1 isn’t just a day to mark the countdown to Christmas, but also a date in the diary for the next Wolves Fans’ Parliament meeting, which I will be attending (work commitments permitting).

Not so much the first choccie of the advent calendar being opened, but more the scab of a great big wound that refuses to heal, I would suggest.
I am invited to submit any questions by November 23 and if they’re any more to the point than the following one already submitted by a fellow FP member, then I’d be impressed:
‘Is the doctor that performed the ‘full heart and body transplant to Wolverhampton’ on Steve Morgan (Express and Star 4 August 2015) going to be reported to the British Medical Council?’
Anyway, do you have any that you would like to be posed? I will do my best to ask them all, time permitting.
Thanks

Thanks Ben off the top of my head – as the For Sale sign could be up for sometime to what extent is Morgan still prepared to be involved ? Will there be any financial support ? Has there been any interest from prospective buyers ? ( In a nutshell WTF is going on ? ).
Ben.
Could you ask this for me,
“Due to the vast amounts of money being thrown at football, there is a drive within football league fan bases to secure a £20 across the board ticket price. If this were to gather momentum, would Wolves warm to this initutive”.?
My support for this initutive apart from the fact I am Scottish is, we have a state of the art ground suitable of holding 32000+ which we are struggling to attract fans to of late. Surely making prices more attractive and within reach of the majority of the public would give us fuller grounds thus improving the atmosphere which would in turn enhance the 12th man advantage.
Thanks StuWolf
Make that initiative for christ’s sake.
The affluence of incohol or just your intuition letting you down?
My question…. Sky coverage and ticket sales… Why are the cost of tickets during the sky coverage not being reduced in order to get the fans inside the ground? Imagine, if tickets were reduced by £10.
When will the PA system be improved! Having said that the main problem maybe the bloke on the mic! He talks too quickly & holds the mic too close to his face. In the Steve Bull we just give up listening to him.
Why has our transfer policy effectively stockpiled un-needed midfielders and left us with a minimum of defenders and strikers?
SOIAW – absolutely agree with you – and one could add why the less than satisfactory game time for Ojo when we needed to blood our own Jordan Graham and give him the opportunity to show what he is capable.
I hate to keep repeating myself, but the key question this season is still who the hell sanctioned the sale of Richard Stearman – player of the year last season – when clearly the kids were not ready to take his place, and as Mike Williamson has so clearly shown we needed the experience of an old warrior. This sale alone has cost us countless points already and barring a miracle left this season irrelevant. Will someone have the honesty and decency to put their hands in the air and say mea culpa………………don’t hold your breathe there then!
Could you please ask the question? Will Mr Morgan do the right thing and pass Wolves on , as Sir Jack intended, to safe hands for a £10 ponds ?
And the answer is…………..
Don’t talk to me about ponds!
I like your question Ben.
Also….
Can we have a, chairman and board of directors who care about the club?
No body in a position of power seems to think of anything other than money.
What happened to football?
Can we loan anymore players?
What does Robert Plant think?
Are we climbing a stairway to heaven?
No…..
Dunno about being on a Stairway to Heaven. Looks a bit more like Dazed and Confused to me.
(Oh boy, have you started something). 🙂
Yeah he probably has started something. I can see a lot people Rambling On about the whole situation and when he gets Trampled Underfoot with all the responses to his post I am sure he will say This is Nobody’s Fault But Mine. There is a Whole Lotta Love out there for the club, but Over The Hills And Far Away there is also a lot of disappointment. There has been some Good Times Bad Times, but Ten Years Gone by, we were in a similar situation if I remember right. We don’t get to hear much of what is happening inside the club, and the Communication Breakdown can be quite frustrating. Moxey is now running the show and that scares me. I just feel like getting hold of a Black Dog and taking it to his office to leave a Big Log. Now that may be immature but it will also be dead funny just to say Thank You for feking up our club.
I will stop now.
Oh, a question.
Do you think Mike Williamson could be an adequate and permanent replacement for dear departed Richard Stearman? If not permanent, who else do you have in mind for that job?
No questions from me thanks Ben. I am completely happy with how the club is being run and how the players are performing – thank you.
We are in more trouble than i thought.
Ben, could you ask these questions:
If there is no new owner in place by January, will Kenny have some sort of decent transfer “war chest” to spend?
Has the youth policy been watered down temporarily (Mike Williamson) or is it,
1) No longer the policy
2) Still the policy, but Williamson was the emergency exception.
Just going off on a tangent slightly Jacobbs scored one and made one last weekend and is getting rave reviews at Wigan……..I’m just putting it out there..!
Qusetions yes Ben and many thanks for giving up your time to try and get blood out of the stone that is Moxey.
1. When did Morgan have a heart transplant back to Liverpool..?
2. What if any transfer budget will there be for January..?
3. Will Afobe be sold come January what ever our league position..?
4. If Afobe is sold will ALL the funds rised be given to Kenny..?
5. Has there or is there anyone interested or shown an interest is buying Wolves..?
6. How much is Morgan asking..?
7. Is there a clause in the sale ( as was when Jack sold up ) that Moxey is kept on..?
Good luck Ben, I think I’ve got more chance of finding oil in my back garden then you have of getting even a crooked answer out of Moxey….!
Actually, I DO have oil in my back garden, being in Texas……..
Brompto, you really need to go out more, preferably Kashmir, or maybe you are Going to California When the Levee Breaks.
How Many More Times will you Ramble On, Over the Hills and Far Away, whilst Dazed and Confused?
That’s the Way to get Trampled Underfoot, while Out on the Tiles, In the Evening.
greasel’s fave LZ song has gotta be The Song Remains The Same.
As to the Fan’s Parliament, Benno, my question is: Why are you giving up your valuable family time to meet, yet again, with that arrogant tosser?
He is the classic case of an idiot doing the same thing over and over, expecting different results.
I think you would send a strong message by NOT turning up.
Clive, ican picture you now bathing in a pool of oil if only it was yours, buying Wolves would be small change.
You would make a great owner I’d love to see a oxeye face as you tell him he’s fired and to Geist his sorry ass out of Molinuex………….if only..!Ticket purchase confirmation

Watcha Ben.
I`ll echo a question raised in the post above.
I can understand there being no major new expensive signings while we are in `in pending sale mode`.
But whats the position re sales, the player squad is worth far more than when KJ took over. Not only Afobe, but what about our two young England under 21 international defenders, and others. Is the plan to retain these player assets, to help effect a sale, or is there a players disposal plan, to happen before the club sale? Honesty needed here, mmmmm………
Does Wolverhampton Wanderers have any genuine aspirations to get promoted this season and if so will they be supported by appropriate investment in the first team squad?
Is there any truth to the rumour that Jackett has been asked to draw up two lists of transfer targets?
One with limited financial implications and one for if a whole lot of money is available.
Does this indicate that there has been some rich benefactor snooping around?
Of course, the real question should be – If Morgan is going to sell it for the full value of the club, then did he really invest 30 million pounds of his own money? Isn’t he just getting that money back?
Effectively, he took Sir Jack and the city of Wolverhampton for 30 million pounds.
Say the team was worth £20 million when he bought it for £10 and he put in £30 million. If he sells the team for £50 million, then he profits £20 million – £10 by taking the full value, doesn’t he?
That doesn’t quite make sense but you get what I’m saying.
He’s a businessman.
Ben, my question would be ” Steve Morgan is on record as saying words to the effect of if the fans don’t want me here i will go. We now know his confrontation with fans at Preston was, as least in part, part of his reason for putting the club up for sale. Jez, fans have been calling for you to go for years, is it that Steve Morgan is more principled than you or is there part of the message you don’t understand?”
I second that question or put another way ….. “Will you resign Mr Moxey if after 25 years as a CEO the club is no further forward than when you took up your position”
Can we buy Williamson permanently…
In veiw of next seasons Afobe Dicko partnership and our pending buyer could we reject all bids in January at all costs..
£20 ticket would fill the ground..
I agree with all the questions about the running of the club, prospective new owners and ambition for the future.
My other concern is more cosmetically based.
Steve Morgan had grand plans for the redevelopment of the Molineux.
All very commendable, if mistimed.
The ground was perfectly acceptable as it was and could reasonably hold the numbers of fans who turned up regularly to matches given our position and performances in the Premier League.
What we have ended up with is one new stand that is unfit for purpose, lets in water and makes the stadium look like Quasimodo.
Doesn’t Mr Morgan have a moral obligation, before he hightails it back to The Wirral, to either finish the job he started in such a blaze of publicity or make good its practical and aesthetic deficiencies.
I’d like to know if at any time in the future Wolves will start buying proven players from the prem rather than taking chances on people from lower league and hoping for the best. Williams although not quite good enough for the prem has been excellent for us. Surely investing in quality rather than quantity on the cheap is the way forward.
My question is
:Is it true that you (M&M) started planning for the 2016-17 season (i.e. when the parachute money has run out) at the end last season? The evidence points that way.
1. you only signed players from lower divisions (i.e. those on relatively low wages) or loan signings who can be sent back to their parent clubs
2. you sold Stearman because he was still on Premier wages
3. you have dropped Ikeme in the hope that he leaves because he is still on Premier wages
It all makes economic sense BUT makes no sense in the world of football where supporters expect the management of the club to be going for promotion.
You may have hoped for promotion this season but your expectations must have been considerably lower and efforts to achieve it next to nil. As soon as your low expectations were found to be justified Mr Morgan disappeared out the door.
Mr Moxey – the “Master of Negative Planning”.
The concept of SMART goals is widely used these days – Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic and Timely. A simple process for implementing such goals is first to deal with S and T – state the specific goal and set a time-frame for achievement. Given that the club repeatedly states that its Specific goal is the Premier League, that history tells us it is both Attainable and Realistic, can the club tell us what the Time-frame is for this target and how progress towards that target is being Measured ?
With a shrinking of belief in the current managerial tenure i havent followed all the news stories as closely as usual. But on the back of another great blog have had another look.
Whatever Morgans apparent reasons for his about turn the statements of business as usual probably bare some truth. It will be the same lack of conviction, commitment and vision (youth policy aside). Rather than spending a slice of his fortune he is now a lot wealthier than when he became owner of the club. In a few years time as his life draws to a close he may regret not going that extra mile.
Is Mr Morgan selling his scarf? My offer is £10 to Compton Hospice?
