Sometimes, it’s easier to write a 400 word blog than it is to sit in a comfy sofa, with a cup of tea, and watch the game of football itself in the living room.

A defence full of kids making schoolboy errors.
A midfield minus Sako looking listless.
And a squad with no recognised strikers barring the two out on the pitch – one on loan from the mighty Cardiff City – lacking devilment.
Far be it for me to fly in the face of a philosophical masterpiece from those erudite scholars from Molineux, but I’d suggest that tough times do indeed last, whether or not tough people choose to do likewise.
Just watch this space.
Steve Morgan, clearly not tough enough for Wolverhampton Wanderers’ marketing team on last month’s evidence, has rendered Wolverhampton Wanderers an empty vessel, save for a state-of-the-art academy that boasts everything but a seasoned professional or two to navigate choppy waters at places like Pride Park.
Players of the ilk of Ince, Russell, Martin and Johnson are the stuff of dreams as we float around the Championship like driftwood.
Perchance to dream-ay, there’s the rub.
Like a tormented Hamlet having heard his father’s fate, we must all fester and watch this miserable story unfold.
King Claudius will continue to blacken the director’s box, attendances will continue to dwindle and we’ll all be told to count our blessings – or f**k off down the Hawthorns as an alternative.
And we’ll finish about 12th.

This game was won and lost in the first half, same as last year.
I thought their first goal was well worked and a great hit. But you can scratch that off as we leveled the game with a similarly good effort of our own.
Then a carbon copy of the goal we conceded at Cardiff with the keeper having a rush of blood to the head.
He then makes up for the error (sort of) by saving the penalty but is mugged off by his team mates who go to sleep from the corner.
It’s more about us being crap than them being particularly good.
Like Ben says, it’s just that bit of experience and know-how that their big signings bring to the table. We’re desperately lacking in that department.
It’s a shame because we showed for 20 or so minutes after equalising what a good team this could potentially be.
We’ll just play better and better though out the season. I really hope new owners comes in with some money ready to invest in a couple of players in january. Jackett’s frustration over the club’s transfer policy is very understandable. If one consider the transfer policy in the light of the club’s short term goal: direct promotion, one can only onclude that the board don’t have necessary knowledge of the game to do what it takes to realise their own goals – which is :=( tragic. I fear we’ll lose Afobe, Iorfa and Hause if we don’t achieve promotion. We have a club to weak to achieve promotion, then – eventually – we’ll lose our brightest prospects. So much for the young and promising policy.
I’ve tryed and I’ve tryed to be positive in the hope that my opertermisum will be reward, I actually think Wolves do better when I’m all doom and gloom.
I concur with you Ben we are like a pin ball bouncing around the table not knowing where or what we are going to hit next,
I’m afraid this club is rudderless and I carnt see anything but heart break and frustraion until Morgan fucks off which could take years. When I heard that he was selling up I nervier felt so happy since the birth of my daughter but the reality is nothing’s changed and nothing is going to for a long time, on and off the pitch.
I know how you feel Box Carr. It is the total inertia, we simply do not move forward. I find it so hard to accept this long term mediocrity, this total lack of hope. We knew this would happen when we failed to invest in the most recent trandfer window. We knew we didn’t have the skill or experience to mount a promotion challenge after the previous season but still we did nothing. By doing nothing the powers that be ended our season before it had even started. They are happy to accept the average and ordinary, the middle of the road and bargain basement. I wrote, at the begining of September, when the window had closed without us making any meaningful signings, that I felt our season was already over. It really needs Morgan to leave to bring an end to this stagnation but I feel that is unlikely. It was a shambles before he decided to stand down. The timing along with a lack of hope for a real buyer makes the situation much worse. The season is a complete write off.
Benjamin, may I be permitted to congratulate you on a quite superb eulogy for that is what it seems. I feel our club has simply died.
I still think we have a chance of reaching the play-offs and win the final. Who knows how the team is performing at the end of the season? We’ve won the previous 3 matches. We have the players reach premier, but maybe not this season. We’ve got 3 of the biggest english talents in the country in Iorfa, Hause and Afobe. You can’t truly say it’s a dying club? I agree with your arguments though: The club should have invested more or differently to achieve their goals.
Your are the eternal optimist KJ. You are right in that we do have a chance – we will always have that chance until it is mathematically impossible for us to gain the points we need to reach the play offs. However, I feel the chance of gaining those points is very small. I would love to be as optimistic as you are but I’ve been a Wolves supporter for too long and have learned through bitter experience. We can’t or won’t bring in players on loan, (wages?); we can’t or won’t bring in players who are free agents – I’m thinking of Nolan. You are right about the youngsters we have but do you think they will still all be here if we fail to gain promotion. Personally I think we will cash in and sell a couple of them. That is why investment to gain promotion is so important and I’m not sure why such a successful business man as SM seemed unable to grasp that.
Sadly this season is all so predictable. I want to be full of positivity about the club I love but I am too much of a realist. We are stable financially and that appears to be about the limit of our ambitions.
And please – nobody quote “Leeds” to me because I am fed up with quoting “Swansea” back at them.
Let’s hope we’ll get 15m for Afobe in january and that the money are reinvested in new players.
I would much rather that we got to the Premiership WITH Afobe in our team.
If we did sell him for £15M could you really trust the management to invest that money wisely. We sold Stearman to finance the purchase of a guy who sits on the bench and hardly ever gets any time on the pitch. Sorry, if we were ever to get into the prem we would need guys like Afobe in our team.
What if you could choose between five 3m players (or three 5m’s), or maybe more realistic, three 3m players (setting aside 2m to salaries)?
Remember we paid only 2m for Afobe. If we could do a decent scouting job and buy three 3m players it could profit the team, and if we could get promotion to premiership it would mean hundred of millions profit. After all he’s not Superman. The market in january is very difficult, so if the club choose to sell they must have their targets in sight before an eventual sale. The sad reality is that we won’t strengthen before we have a new owners, or maybe if we choose to sell Afobe. Quite a dilemma.
Come on all..positives and hopes aside in the review it could of been worse..perhaps it was written…
I thought we could hold them but incidentally how many times now have we given an early goal away..
and of course our signature… if we pull one back we then give one away again..
Classic..and that’s down to KJ..
It’s the difference between investing in players (like Derby) and struggling post Sako..
We are under resourced against a good team like Derby…period.
I still think we can just make the play offs..
If we do God help us….
COYW
Can we get a defender old enough to be able to grow a beard. Youth has its place, experience is essential. And we have just one fit defender in the squad other than those who started today. Makes selling Stearman (who can grow a beard) and not replacing him all the more inexplicable. Idiocy.
Thanks for the swift post, and your words that speak volumes Ben. I only wish to add that meeting up with Stuwolf who had a ticket for me (thanks Jen) and then catching up with Peakwolf and us three watching the 2nd half together was the highlight of this miserable afternoon. Oh yeah, Martinez had a good game imo, and certainly saved us total humiliation, and young Iorfa did not too much wrong as well. As for the rest ……….. just watch the game. Where we go from here is anyones guess.
Coming from a Derby fan at the match today. I don’t think you’re too far away from challenging towards the top of the league. You do look quite dangerous going forward (at times). You just need to sort ya defence out.
And on another note, we’ve had to suffer some terrible teams and performances in the past few years….. It doesn’t happen over night #keepthefaith
Cheers Mark, but the problems run deep, I know money doesn’t garantee success you can testify to that but no investment or next to nothing certainly makes it near impossible and your right about the attack and your spot on about the defence, the later diffinitly needs investment because the kids from the Premier A Acadamy status aren’t cutting.
Mark can I ask you a question. What wold you rather have a Premier A rated Acadamy or a Premier League team to support…….hard one I know..!
Paul. I think one will bring the other. Our new owner is investing even more into our academy (which is already producing quality players)
I’m not against the Acadamy but like your owner has realised they both should go hand in hand. Yes by all means invest in the future but you must also invest in there here and now while you tender your growing investment ie the Acadamy.
Sounds like your owner has got it spot on.
I thought we we’re starting to look good at the back ,with two clean sheets pre international break until we came up against a side who’s not to far away from where we aspire to be.but Derby have invested over the years and we haven’t so that’s what we’re gonna get if someone doesn’t come in soon to rescue us from the strangle hold of Morgan & Poxey.
I think KJ is doing his best but he’s tinkerd again and its backfired, until we get some experienced players in we won’t get any better. IMO we need a leader and another striker and then we can give it a go until then we will finish in mid table obscurity.
We must now bounce back Wednesday night and its a must we get three points because Saturday I fear we will struggle when Boro roll in…
Fulham got a point there on Saturday 0-0.
Reports say Stears had a blinder.
Why can’t we get a defender like that to give us a bit of experience at the back?
I have said it before on this forum that we are a mid table championship club that needs to sell players to survive. The sooner we get used to this reality the better. Today’s result is no surprise- most of the predictions I saw had us down to lose so the game went true to form. I thought that after we equalised we looked comfortable and the better side for a while but a goalkeeper mistake took away any momentum. In the interest of balance however, Martinez did make some excellent saves thereafter it’s a pity his howler came at a time when we were in the ascendancy.
Prospective purchasers watching today will surely be sitting on their hands as far as bidding goes. So we should enjoy watching the young promising players we undoubtedly have before they are sold on to give Morgan his investment return.
We are not a big club anymore and haven’t been for a long time so we need to get used to the idea – and quickly!
Linden..I take that comment to heart ‘we are not a big club anymore..’
We don’t stop being a big club it’s the resources behind the club..
We are still a big club with a huge fan base ..saying we need to get used to the idea of not being one..encourages pure mockery particularly from up the road and other smaller wanker clubs incidentally ..
Your right Steve and anybody who thinks differently has no place being a Wolves fan has far as I am concerned, WWFC are bigger than a lot of teams in this league and a few in the premiership, look at the attendance’s and say I’m wrong!
A buyer who is ready to splash the cash could take us were we all want to be, and get their rewards.
The only thing big about this club at the moment is the Belly and ego of that useless CEO
I don’t want to get embroiled in Morgan or Moxey debates because of today’s lack of any sort of performance after going 2-1 down.
IMO only and based on what I saw in the first half.
WTF was Wallace doing on the left wing when the first 6-8 of our best chances were given to him with his lack of match time and he just could not pull it off. Ojo and Byrne were on the bench and using one of them would have taken the sting out of Derby who just grew and grew with each break down of any sort of attack down that side. Kenny you shot yourself in the foot and the head with that choice.
Derby were not that good, as said above, “we were crap”
Bring on the Brenfordwoodshire.
Steve I admire your unstinting pride in the old gold and black-I share it too, in bucketloads. But any way you want to measure what constitutes a big club we fall short I am afraid.
I have seen this club, as no doubt you have, weighed down by expectation. This expectation in my view is driven by our glorious past – but that was 50 odd years ago. We are nowhere near getting back to that level – nor for that matter are the stripey lot up the road.
I am just trying to bring some reality to the situation we are in.
I hear you Linden… I’m from the Dougan Richards Waggy Munro era ..
How can anyone say that Wolves is not a big club ..the same as Leeds United is too incidentally.. ..expectancy is part of us being Wolves supporters
it’s in our DNA..
In my life time there has been true suffering involved being a Wolves fan but as far as I’m concerned it doesn’t detract from our status..
Wolves deserve real money behind them this time
so here’s hoping that we can get back to where we belong..the PL will do me just fine..
Are we really status wise lower than Villa West Brom or Stoke ? I can hear you say no……..
Loud and clear I say “no” Steve. We are certainly not of a lower status than the clubs you mention. Would I consider them to be big clubs though?
We often hear the phrase “sleeping giant ” when teams like Leeds and Derby and Wolves appear on TV. I suppose the point i am trying to make is that we have been asleep for too long – and for many frustrated supporters the long sleep has had too many nightmares.
Just for clarity though this doesn’t and will not stop me supporting them any less passionately- as you say, Wolves are in our DNA.
Spot on Linden. I agree.
Actions speak louder than words.
The club’s owner has asset stripped us.
He’s downgraded the club.
Personally think Sir Jack is turning in his grave at the rip off….
Btw, I thought we were clueless.
Bring back Stearman….
Expectation and ambition are two different things. Bournemouth, Swansea , Stoke, Southampton are all ambitious clubs not really weighed down by the expectation created by history. I think any remnant of expectation has largely been managed out of the majority of wolves fans by the lack of ambition of the club’s management. We have cultivated a safety first, make do and manage mentality, which has meant that even sensible investment has been considered off limits in recent times. It is not where you are but where you are heading that counts. What concerns me is not that we are a mid championship side but what our next owner intends to do in terms of his or her ambition for wolves. Morgan wasted a golden opportunity and we have in reality trod water for the last 7 to 8 years. Let’s hope the situation becomes clearer sooner rather than later and that all the dead wood that is our ceo and the board is swept away in favour of people who are not satisfied with us being also rans and who are brave enough to articulate a compelling vision for our future rather than the “be careful what you wish for” small minded fear monger a who have dragged our club down for the last decade.
Dont think they were particularly good
but we were niave and easily bullied. There experienced players also went down easily and got in the refs face who obliged.
Morgans desertion seemed to temporarily focus a few minds but I dont really see us doing anything much anytime soon. The good news is with performances like that we will probably only lose Afobe.
Men against boys and looking at the squads you can see why. They have a very good squad and we have a squad with potential. Wallace isn’t ready for first team football and we need experience at both ends but we know that situation won’t be resolved.
Let’s hope for a win on Wednesday to give us confidence going forward.
While we await a buyer for the club the prospect of limping over the line via the play-offs (not that it’s likely) is a terrifying thought. Better to hover in mid-table obscurity (which seems highly likely for a long, long time) than get promoted in our current state. So on that basis…..to stay up at least would be rather nice.
A comparison of Derby and Wolves is all too revealing.
The Derby Board have real ambition. A quality manager with serious international experience has been recruited, and investments made in experienced quality players to give him the best possible chance of success.. The result is that the club will likely become a serious contender for an automatic promotion place.
Wolves, on the other hand, have an owner who, having tired of his latest toy, has thrown the proverbial rattle out of the pram, leaving the club to muddle on. At the helm is a pompous CEO who seems unwilling to adopt a competitive wage structure sufficient to attract experienced players, but rather favors a policy of trawling the lower leagues to find players whose main attraction is that their wage demands will be modest. This, coupled with the fact that we have a coach who appears to be at the limit of his capabilities, leaves the club in a sorry state.
Our very best hope is that we can somehow hobble along in mid table and avoid the catastrophe of another relegation struggle, in the hope that a new owner will soon be found who has real ambition for the club, and has the financial clout to make it happen. We can dream — but more likely is the scenario where the pie man continues to make grandiose but meaningless promises, while attendances fall through the floor, our few decent players are sold off to make ends meet, and the club goes down the pan. Same old: same old. Great facilities but no team.
And all this after the painstaking efforts of Sir Jack. Unbelievable.
Hear hear, couldn’t have said it better myself. 100% spot on.
Woke up at 5am on a Sunday morning to listen to the game (CA time) and by the end of it I was so pissed off I had to go out for a 5-mile run to work it out of my system. Disgraceful. I’m glad nobody above is blaming the international break, because as far as I am aware, Derby faced the same break too. This is all fruit of our club’s ingenious concoctions, which they have made all for “footballing reasons” I am sure. Amazing how our incredibly capable defenders are doing. Definitely didn’t need any experience to help them out. True, that Dicko’s injury was unfortunate so early on, but apart from that, it’s all Wolves’ doing.
During my run it occurred to me that in the big scheme of things, we haven’t really improved one iota from the days of Colin Lee. We were a 2nd tier team then, with the frustrations of not being quite good enough for promotion, and we are still the same now, all these years later. All those promises, all those fake, half-hearted attempts, and those wasted opportunities which when we had the dream in the very palm of our hands, management just bottled it.
Morgan has let this club down in a colossal way in my opinion. He bought the club on a whim and a hunch it would make him a lot of money. When he discovered it was going to cost him a lot more than he planned on spending, he bottled it, went cheap, and crashed us. Anyone who cares deeply about something would never abandon it, no matter how tough it gets. The fact he just ran off, abandoning the mess he made to “whoever” is just appalling to me.
Still, we persevere in the hope the right buyer comes along with the financial clout and heartfelt passion the club needs. Hopefully before we lose the rest of the players in January.
Go Wolves!
I think the 2 best attacking performances against us that I have seen in the last 2-3 years (admittedly on limited chances here in Australia) were Derby last year and Derby this year. Their attacking speed, movement and passing tore through us repeatedly. Great first touches, vision and striking.
We were not good (except for 20 minutes when and after we scored the first) and completely ran out of ideas in the last 20 min.
But if we look at the last 3 games, there is some good stuff to build on (and we are ahead on goals 8-4, with 6 points from 9).
Not in Derby’s class, but not completely crap either.
Totally agree…reminds me of the days of Hector gemmil Todd etc… Bastards..
Reality check time.
About the only good thing you can say about Saturday is that by the end, unlike the play that Ben has alluded to, nobody had died.
As far as comparing Morgan to Claudius is concerned, HE got his come uppance in the end.
We all wait with baited breath!
Meanwhile we, the fans, are like Polonius:- well meaning buffoons who always end up getting stabbed through the arras.
And for any fans from sandwell who are reading this – they are characters in Hamlet…
You know, a play by Shakespeare…
Shakespeare…… our greatest playwright….
The Bard of Stratford….
Bard….. it means……
Oh! never mind!
True education all ways shines through Mark…
donit..
As I have just resigned from my job (don’t ask), and have found a water leak under the floor of my kitchen yesterday, I am going to be a busy man for the next month or so. I am therefore pulling out of attending the Mol this Saturday. With 6 games being televised, one this month, four in December and one in January, I guess I will not see some of you bloggers until the New Year. I shall still come on here every now and then though (sorry Clive).
Myself and the PMDG’er will miss your ready wit and gay repartee this Saturday mate.
I hope you fix your leak problem OK.
If you do, perhaps you could give the Wolves defence coach a tip or two.
I am thinking Comedy of errors followed by the Rape of Lucrece.
Good to see Stu and Brompton, especially after they climbed the barriers to get to the meeting point!
Interesting references to our DNA above – that’s been Derby’s mantra for the last 2 or 3 seasons with everything apparently being in their DNA according to the match announcer! Sensible reflections from Derby Mark too. He’s right that they’ve suffered like us for a long time, but they have a promising balance between youth investment and seasoned campaigners now. They didn’t play that well yesterday – lots of errors that were clearly ticking their fans off and which I’m told by the locals has been characteristic of their season. And some were also concerned that Clement’s cv in coaching the likes of Bale and Ronaldo wouldn’t equip him too well for the beards of Derby. But I can see them kicking on from here.
It really was men v boys yesterday, man mountain Bradley Johnson v the academy graduates. Honourable mentions for Iorfa, again, and, at least for three top drawer saves, for Martinez. And for twenty first half minutes we had them very much on the back foot until another crass defensive mistake. And how we miss the driving tank force of Dicko – ALF was swatted out of the game by the battering Rams.
My prediction of ‘no better than last year’ seems optimistic now, but the pre-Derby run changed views on here like the flick of a switch and that might happen again. But until we inject tough experience and the youngsters mature more, I think that switch will be toggling back and forth all too swiftly.
Beautiful prose Ben and bang on the money … The squad is significantly weaker than it was last season so just where all this investment was that steve and jez kept bangin on about fuck knows.
steves gone it will take some time before signings can be authorised by any new owner, but to be honest, we scarcely made any ripples in the transfer market anyways.
it is then with some sort of perverse irony that we are on the television no less than 6 (5 after Derby) times in the next 2 and bit months – 4 over the festive period – and we can only hope that Kenny can work some kind of magic with this inexperienced and threadbare lot so that they are not all horror shows like Sunday.
Good luck us.
We lost a match, an away match, it happens. Derby were better than us on the day, not much better but good enough to take advantage of a few gifts and a bit of cluelessness in our developing defence. If we lose on Wednesday too then perhaps there’ll be some justification for a bit of gloom and doom but we won’t win every game, we were playing a team above us in the league at their place and both our forwards got on the scoresheet. This season is by no means over and whilst I agree that the depth of the squad is relatively fragile compared to others, there is still plenty to be optimistic about. Starting on Wednesday.
Finsbury, well said buddy. We were crap but they were only slightly better. If you leave a gate wide open then don’t be surprised if the sheep (Rams) walk all over your garden.
Spot on Finsbury. You can’t win ’em all, and there are some you shouldn’t even be thinking you can win. This was one of them, given the strength of their squad.
But I have some concerns; Batth looked not to know how to deal with a forward of Martin’s abilities. Afobe looked disinterested for most of the match and some of the passing out from the back was high risk stuff, epitomised by Golbourne and Hause combining to tee up Johnson for a stroll into the middle and a shot on target.
Plus points – Martinez, one huge error apart, was impressive. Ojo looked lively and Coady combative when they came on. ALF’s finish was top draw stuff.
Oh, and that was NEVER a penalty – Ince simply ran into Batth. Surprised the ref, who looked like he was frash out of school, fell for it.
Current points/games ratio would suggest if averaged out over the season a haul of 63/64 points. Clearly not good enough for play offs, but well clear of relegation. Things can change of course, but at the moment we seem to be heading to a mid table finish.
Not the best performance we’ve seen from our team this season, but not the worst either, especially considering the opposition. You can only play as well as the other team will let you and they were better than us. Period.
Disappointed in Wallace. Not seen much of him before but on this showing he still has much to prove.
Apart from his one absolute howler, Martinez was class and saved us with a string of excellent saves.
Mac, I thought, was well below his recent standard with many loose passes, throughout the game.
Regarding the general situation, we lost 5-0 last year and we were lucky to get nil. But we still finished the year above Derby and on the cusp of the play offs. So I ain’t writing them off yet and I ain’t getting all negative on the back of one result against a top team and I don’t think we’ll be anywhere near a relegation fight. We shouldn’t have sold Stearman though.
The next two games will show us a lot and I’ve got my Boro’ ticket clasped within my greasy mitt. Can’t wait.
I’ve thought before that Jed Wallace runs just like Mr Bean. On Sunday he played like him too!
A team who are currently 4th in our league with 2 ex Wolves midfielders& goalie in their ranks, probably, almost certainly have less investment than we have.
It’s not always the cash, our youthful team is inconsistent & is too prone to defensive errors.
Derby looked a great team last year and faded largely because of the loss of Chris Martin.
I look forward to the next 3 games, hope springs eternal. Hopefully the tragedy doesn’t end, in May, like Hamlet does in tears.
Wolfstonker,
If your’e coming this way and need accommodation you are welcome.
Boro have sold out so the place should be rockin.
That’s a very kind offer Stu. At the moment, we’re planning to do a ‘there and back in a day’ thing, but I’ll see how things pan out. Hopefully be there in time for a nice pre-match cuppa (or something) though, if you’re around.
I’m over it, we lost to a decent team, a team who will do that to a lot of sides, what I am annoyed about is how many times have you heard the opposition manager say, that’s the best we have played yet this season!!!! It’s pissing me off, c’mon the wolves.
“Calling occupants of interplanetary craft!”
…and bloggers wishing to meet before the game on Saturday.
Although the PMDG’er and I won’t be staying at the Park View this weekend it seems to me that it would still be the best place to meet, bearing in mind that quite a few are driving and would be supping coffee rather than ale.
Did I really just write that? Bloody hell! How times change!
Having said that, I am quite happy to gather anywhere else within spitting distance from the Molineux if other people would rather.
What do you reckon?
Doog,
Happy to buy you and the good lady a latte or cappuccino . My question is, “as the PVHotel is not available is there a function on has anyone checked.” ?
But happy to shed a tear over Sunday’s debacle with fellow bloggists.
Cheers StuWolf.
I’ve checked with PVH and they are open.
What sort of time will you be arriving?
Hope to catch yourselves and any others at the PV tomoz then DG. Aiming for 1.30ish but the traffic can be hell at this time of year.
I like Tom Hanks movies.
Just watched his latest, Bridge of Spies, where he does a marvelous impression of greasel, trying to get something for nothing, and getting two for the price of one.
Just to throw a Spaniard in the works, (thank you, Mr. Lennon) has anyone considered our board, and their lack of action?
Forgive me if I are wrong, but doesn’t a company board have voting rights, and isn’t the board made up of more than greasel and blob the builder?
Are they a bunch of spineless chickens, too scared of their own shadows, not rocking any boats?
Do they have no say in what greasel does or doesn’t ?
It seems that our beloved Bully, Planty and Heyhoe are only honorary vice presidents, so presumably they have no voting rights.
That leaves, according to my dubious research, directors John Gough and John Bowater, who, surely coincidentally, are both heavily into the construction industry.
As is our nearly departed owner.
Stinks to high heaven.
Reminds me of a classic line, spoken to Private Upham, in that other great Tom Hanks movie, Saving Private Ryan:
Its FUBAR.
Nice one Clive,You’re right they are a spineless bunch of cretins, who are in a builders cartel with Morgan as the Don.
Greasel is the assassin, we are the victims..
Wolves Ay We.UTW.
Sorry, but that blog was as pretentious and superficial as it was sour and pessimistic. Wolves and we Wolves fans have a great deal to be proud of. C.mon, write about the football – and if you can’t see any positives, have a look at yourself!
Pray tell me exactly how looking in the mirror will benefit anyone, except me, coz I get to see my handsome mug!
You may not know, but Houston is not exactly commuter distance from the Mol, so I don’t get to see the lads very often, and I leave the comments on the actual football played to those who have been or seen, and can write better and more unpretentiously than wot I do.
How can the written word be sour?
Beats me, but then I’m superficial and pessimistic.
And if ever there was a pretentious comment written, yours was it.
Have a bostin’ day, y’all.
FOwb
I was going to write something uplifting and inspiring as we fester in our gloom after an abject display but cannot find the words. Will merely repeat my message to my Dubai based eldest son and fellow Wolf on Sunday afternoon. I am MAD. Miserable. Angry. Depressed.
Frankly, I find the general dismay at Sunday’s game a little OTT. We lost this game last year too, and played a bloody sight worse. Bring on Brentford. 🙂
JUST BEAT BY A BETTER TEAM ON THE DAY…END OF.
Just watching the scores on the bbc vidiprinter,SEB scored for Chesterfield;Elokobi for Colchester.
