The dust has settled on another season, and we missed a play off place by a gnats whisker.

Despite my recurring 5 – 1 predictions, I am happy with what transpired, and the bottom line is we just are not good enough , yet.
Having only watched the Millwall game live, I suspect my comments will be slightly biased, not having seen the lads fully all season.
I’ve said all along how highly I’ve rated Richard Stearman, and the end of season accolades he has just received bear this out.
I was unimpressed with our keeper, at fault for both goals. Van la Parra can go as soon as he wants, that stupid reverse strike/chip thing he tried in the first half was pathetic, and if I’d been the manager he would have been off immediately.
Afobe had a quiet match, but he is a must keep, as is Dicko, that goal was frickin’ brill!
Sako for me is a luxury, if he goes, que sera, sera, and I don’t think he will be lighting any fires in the Prem.
The rest of the team were OK, but as I said, I’ve only seen one live match, so difficult to be too objective.
We must draw a veil over the season, and move on. All the what ifs are bollocks. The biggest what if is:
If my auntie had bollocks she would be my uncle. She don’t and she ain’t. I got over that a long time viagra ago.
However, what I will not get over for a while is the wonderful time spent last weekend with fellow bloggers.
Some I’ve met before, some I’ve known for centuries, and some I’d never met.
People from all places and of all ages turned up and had the instant bond of The Wolverhampton Wanderers thread running throughout their lives.
There was Brompto with his moon walking alien pal, John.
Peakwolf bought me a pint, thank you kind sir.
Wolfstroker. Now there is such a soft spoken giant of a man, not one to argue with, but such a nice guy.
Stuwolf and his lovely family…much too good for you, me boy.
Thomas graced us with his presence, along with his Dad, great to meet you, sir.
I was accosted by a gorgeous, vivacious young lady, who turned out to be the beautiful Mrs Rachel Smallman, wife of the very lucky Ben, mother of young Arthur who was proudly wearing his new T shirt.
Colin, Steve Showcase, and others I’ve probably forgotten.
Big Mark G Davies and Scooped, ever presents…..until Scooped’s hangover from Friday night finally caught up with him, and of course the ever young Mrs and Mrs Doogooder, otherwise known to their friends as Mark and Sue.
I cannot stress enough how much at home I felt, amongst new and old friends, and the banter, piss taking and general friendship was of the highest order.
Thanks everyone for a fun filled couple of days.

Thanks for the post Clive and commemorating another great meet up. I’m only sorry I couldn’t have hung around longer, but current circumstances made that difficult.
As is increasingly the case, I haven’t fulfilled my obligations and thanked everyone for their continued readership, comments, feedback, support and much, much more aside.
You’re all brilliant.
And by ‘all’ I really do mean all of you. The hardcore commentators, the sometimes commentators, the readers who never comment (I know you’re out there), the people who send messages of support, the lovers, the haters and everyone else in between. Thank you for another wonderful year.
A few special thank yous…
Brompton for organising the polo shirts (with official branding) and my commemorative end of season mug. You’re a gentleman sir.
Clive for my exclusive Houston supporters top. It’s a bit big at present but I’m hoping it will shrink in the wash. I don’t think they have people as weedy as me in Texas.
Doog for cementing the venue as our own and allowing us to gatecrash his once peaceful weekends. Top man. Looking forward to the video as always.
Scooped, Mark G Davies, Clive and the rest of your posse for unwavering, long term support of the blog. Always great to see you.
Mike (aka Twixfix) for backing me up in the Prediction League with his own spreadsheets. Between us we can hopefully crown a winner. That’s a hefty job and one I’m deeply indebted to you for. I owe you a pint (or Twix).
Ade in China for helping me with social media throughout the season. Again, time you didn’t have to give up. Thanks mate.
Clemens for making the ridiculous trip up to be there for the match/catch up. Great meeting you and looking forward to my invite to Copenhagen.
Wolfstroker, Peakwolf, StuWolf, colin, Steve, Paul (and anyone else I’ve stupidly forgotten) – great chatting (albeit briefly). Hopefully we’ll grow in numbers again next year and put even more faces to names.
And last but certainly not least, my partner in crime Benny boy. Like me he’s felt the pinch of outside commitments (and some deeply challenging times) this season but still chipped in more than his fair share. I couldn’t do it without you mate. Thank you as always. P.s. can I still call you Sako if he signs for the Albion?
Thanks guys.
Up The Wolves!
Hiya Thomas .. I’ve been in Queenstown NZ the last few days and just got back to Christchurch 10 mins ago. Am back in the UK on Thursday so will touch bases with you then.. thanks for your very kind comments …
It’s 7:34 Sunday night by the way …
I had to look 3 times as I thought Scooped was Lee Hughes… 🙂
Sorry Lee… I mean Scooped! How dare I even mention that name on here, never mind liken you to him! Forgive me….?
I promise that I will catch up with one of WolvesBlog meets at some point…. Work and family commitments (both new and old) have major impacts on my attempted attendances.
Hope to be reading more 5-1 predictions next season and good to hear a different view on a game for a change. Thx Clive.
… And what was Stolbakken doing there?… 🙂 🙂 🙂
I reckon Scooped and I would have to compete for that moniker! When Solbakken was appointed, the son of one of my mates texted his dad saying, “***k me, they’ve appointed Andrew” (aka Peakwolf)!
Hear hear…..the meet up is coming along nicely can recommend to all bloggers. It is interesting to meet up with folk you sort of know better than you should !
Clive came over for a chat. Ben who was surrounded by old friends took the trouble to come over and introduce his lovely family. Clemens strolled in from Denmark. Preston took a bit of working out ! Cant mention everybody but it was good to see all.
The shortish time i was there compared to some (perhaps i will get a room next year !) i have to own up to standing at the bar with London who reminded me of my old mates of the eighties a proper bloke.
Have to agree with Clive re Van la Parra, that attempted cross with the wrong foot was purely because he can’t kick with the other foot (I thought the Dutch played total football with both feet). Maximum of 5 good crosses all season and a lot of huff and puff with no end product.
Have a great summer everyone
Those were the days
On windy days when my fence posts waver I’ll use the card you gave me Clive and give you a call ….
If you fly in from Houston, come and fix my 6x4s does that mean your rates are still cheap.?
It was nice meeting you Clive all be it a quick meet as I was initiating the wife into a new religion we all know as Wolves..
Quote..’it was much better than I thought’
PS..
Sako leaving us is like chopping a leg off..
Another season winding up with the bloggers still winding each other up, same old same old.
But a blog from the CFH!.
Interesting, full of his usual shy, reserved contributions that we have all come to expect and love, Clive is our inner self, he say’s lots of things that we would love to say in this PC world of ours that he left well behind.
Strange from a man who puts up fences and barriers one side of the Atlantic and then smashes them down in the unmistakable fashion that we love and each one of us if the truth be known secretly wait for each blog.
The season is over, already the usual shite has started about who will leave and be snapped up by Pulis, and the millions of famous names being bandied about by the shit paper we have called the E&S. 12 weeks ish of wading through dross to find out that M&M and the spin Doctor at Molineux will keep us all guessing and telling us they will spend big to support KJ and all the time laughing at us behind our back as usual.
But we am Wolves, we am loyal, we am the club that fills the coffers of the likes of Wigan, Boringmouth and Middlesboro breaking records wherever we play.
We am the bloggers that vent our spleen each week in a semi polite manner and keep it real, check out Wolves wall, they talk a different language for Christ’s sake.
On Saturday we all got together and talked about anything, it was constructive it was interesting and it was great meeting up just to talk the real person behind these weird handles on the site.
It was a nice get together, some of them got drunk, some got told off by their other half, some even bought a round, so all in all a good weekend.
Thank you all, Clive and Clemens for making such a long journey, and all the (locals who hail from all parts of this wonderful land of ours and come to support our beloved Wolves.
Long may we continue.
Oh a special Thank you from me, to all who sponsored my Lands end to John O’Groats bike ride, who promised to sponsor my bike ride and all who took the sponsor form away to try an fill them with sponsors, you are truly wonderful people. We now have a sponsor form with e-mail and contact details if anyone else would like to help us provide our disabled fans with a little more dignity.
for more information contact me through the blog or on my e-mail address:- teamsasha@blueyonder.co.uk
StuWolf
🙂
OMG.
Sorry,
Another special mention to Jerryd, who came all the way from Oxford on the train unaided in an electric wheelchair, fair play to you Jerryd, you have my respect and admiration.
StuWolf
Afobe indicating that too many “cocks” spoil the broth?
Unusually Clive, I find myself agreeing with pretty much everything you’ve written, so I’ll not bother repeating it. High hopes for next season.
It was great to meet everyone at the PV post-match. Some I’d met before and others not, but it was a real pleasure to chew the fat for a couple of hours over a glass or two of ale. Special mentions to our friends from overseas for whom a trip to Wolverhampton must be a treat indeed. Well done Clemens from Copenhagen who came just for the game(thank god we won) and spoke much better English than some of my northern friends. 😉
And Clive, of course. In the blog, opinionated, radically anti-albion, anti 2M’s, nothing gets past his acerbic wit. In the flesh, a real gent. Rarely has someones online persona differed so much from the actual reality. Pleasure to meet you at last Clive.
I remain confident that we’ll be mostly pretty satisfied with the comings and goings this summer and that next season, like the last two, will be one to remember.
Keep up the good work Ben and Thomas, you’re the reason I pay my broadband. Thankyou.
Nice one Clive mate.
A weekend that we’ll never forget…
…if we can ever remember what happened that is.
I don’t think I’ve ever seen anybody drink as much and such a variety of alcoholic beverages as quickly as big Mark Davies on Friday night and still look almost sober at the end of the evening.
Although he was drinking water the next evening.
Lightweight!!
I am going to leave my appreciation of the weekend and the season for a while because the film:-
‘Bloggers II – Revenge of the Lemoncello’ (you’ll have to ask Mark D, Scooped or Clive about that reference) is just out of the cutting room and waiting for a certificate for release.
Suffice to say that it was great meeting everyone and look forward to the next time.
By the way, is that a caption competition in the middle of your blog?
Brilliant idea.
Ben and Thomas & Thomas Snr: “Right, do you really think that Clive is the right person to take over the blog when we sack it next season?”
Mark G Davies: “I used to be this tall – honest”
The Doogs: Sue: “Yes, I know he looks really old, but just checking, and his heart is still beating”
Scooped: “Yes, a pint of Shipyard please, and can you put that on Twix’s tab with all the rest”
StuWolf and Clemens: Stu: ” ……… and when I am nearing John O’Groats, I will jump on the piano on the back of the flatrack and play ‘Oh, Oh, Oh, You’re magic …..” Clemens (thinking silently) “yeah right”
Me “Hee hee hee, Bob (not John Clive) will be telling the moon story in the morning”
So John has changed his name to Bob since I left?
Told you he was alien.
Bet he hasn’t sobered up since Preston won.
yeah, had to chuckle. Might get even more difficult next year, when more bloggers attend the gathering and trying to remember their real names, especially when we will have had another year of memoray fade.
Speak for yourself, Jim
It is a caption(eque)… It was meant for the Millwall result listing.. Went back and forth and put in the wrong one…. Doh!
Shame can’t edit… Next time I’ll pay a little more attention! 🙂
I meant the rogues gallery in Clive’s blog.
Sorry, didn’t’ mean to confuse you.
I’m easily confused… I blame it on the tyke up every 2 hours… but the confusion really started years ago.
It was a great pleasure, Clive (the pint!). Only wish I could have spent longer with you all – as I said in the last blog, the group provides a community for distant fans, amongst other things, and it’s been a pleasure. Ben and Thomas are legendary. The caption competition seems like a good idea and I wish my wit were up to what I guess a few of you will be putting forward!
Next season – I too agree almost entirely with Clive. And we need some tough Rae-like experience to make the most of our burgeoning young talent on the field. Discussion on 606 at the moment about foreign/English managers – how I would love KJ to go on from the fantastic revolution he’d has brought about and show what he can do at the next level – with WWFC of course.
And the shirts for next season? Actually, they look a bit better on the photos of the end of season awards!
Here’s to a bit of continued summer blogging to fill the empty months.
Well it’s only 229 days till xmas so seasons greetings to you all. I suppose the fixtures are out about mid june. Already planning some London tours. Really excited about nxt season . Gonna be fuckin ace. Just got a feeling. Anyway all the best to you all who contribute to this excellent blog. Always remember FWAW AND FOWB. Its the law.
Mr. Death.
I’ve always wondered where you got your handle from.
Can you enlighten me?
Wish I was there! Next year, when we go up, for good! 🙂
Have a great summer all.
GW
I thought you might have tearfully mentioned me … not being able to attend the 2nd bloggers ball … hope you enjoyed sitting in my seat !!
You were remembered in the form of a, rather large, tab behind the bar which you will have to pay next time you’re in the Park View.
Seriously though, thanks for ‘the drink’, it was much appreciated.
Have fun!
Clive. I am a big fan of monty python and the off the wall humour. I guess that’s where my surreal musings are founded!
Brilliant blog Clive. Was a great gathering which I believe is now already become an Annual event that is being placed in most bloggers football diaries. I may even have to get down the evening before, and I will surely have to get some “drinking fitness” in as you all know how to sup.
Glad you got back safely (eventually) and look forward to meeting next year, but in the meantime reading your posts. What are we going to do during the close season? I am sure some bloggers will still be active.
As I said, great blog mate. Be good and look after yourself.
I don’t really care as I am not his biggest fan but how come ikeme is leaving ? Does anyone know ?
Where did you hear that?
The PMDG’er will not be best pleased!
I read it among the stories on NewsNowWolves too, I think it was a passing statement on this link:
http://www.coventrycity-mad.co.uk/news/tmnw/wolves_after_former_city_loanee_keeper_861577/index.shtml?
More likely Kusczak leaving and we need an understudy to Carl.
It’s b0110ck5… He ain’t going… (at least I hope it’s b0110ck5!
No smoke without fire .with ikeme , I think PULIS probably wants him
Just spotted kenny in the crowd at the Swindon game
. And that bastard PULIS .
He s just following kenny and wolves about , whatever we ve got he wants, he was probably staying in tonight till he heard kenny was going .
FO PULIS
I see IMO Sako going to Villa..Moxey so resigned to let him go…ala recent end of season interview – wages : ‘any premier club can blow us out of the water’… Offer him a lump sum bonus when when we go up..dohh..
Why the hell cant we sell him the idea to stay.. It’s basic stuff..
This is going to haunt us…
Steve,
This wont haunt us mate. He is only one man. Yes, I agree he has helped us to be where we are now, but he is a luxury player who turns it on when he wants, but also so often is mediocre. I don’t believe he cannot be replaced and have no worries at all if he goes.
This club is bigger than any one man.
Sako? He isn’t as great as is made out, flashes of brilliance but long periods of nothing; Birmingham, Ipswich and Wigan he was totally ineffective.
Kuszczak? He was brilliant, I imagine he’ll go as he did nothing wrong, in fact he kept us in plenty of games (Derby for instance) and when Ikeme returned he was sent to the bench….. funnily enough we had another blip at that point, coincidence?
Van the Man…… he could easily be a great player, but like Sako, just keep things simple, as a winger, run like hell to the end and cross the ball, basically, that’s all you need to know, less of the foot overs and trying fancy stuff, he does have a lot to learn.
Danny Batth, he’s looked out of his depth since about Easter, a little worrying.
More worrying is the Board, will they learn from years of not quite doing enough?
Ok you lot..if Sako plays a blinder for 15 mins out of 90 then he can change a game..
As players Afobe and Dicko are worth more to us but to find a replacement…
It’s as much of a principle to me too.. we loose a play off place by a whisker
We have two other fantastic forwards and we can’t convince him we’ll go up next year?
Wages – I know but we could lump sum him after an interim if he still wants the shirt..
To see him dancing down the wing for Villa certainly haunts me,then there could be others..
.
He’s unique and all those type of players are contrary and form moody ..look at Bale..
Alistair.. I agree with your comments re DB he needs a strong experienced side kick ..
Although Steers played his heart out good forwards can do him..
Who’s Swindons left winger?
Stevie,
I agree mate, if he plays a blinder for 15 minutes he can change a game. But I want someone who can play good stuff for 90 minutes and probably change the game. If he does not want to stay with us because he wants to play Premiership football NOW, then good luck to him. I question his loyalty. I have seen him do some magical stuff, but I have also seen him fart around with his stepovers and lose the ball which broke down a very good scoring opportunity. One example most recently in our game against Millwall – he could have put the ball in the box, but decided to do some tricky footwork, lost the ball and they went down the other end and scored. He then scores a magical goal at the end – Frustrating to say the least. I am not worried one teeny weeny bit if he leaves us. He WILL be replaced and we WILL NOT fail just because he is no longer with us. But, that is just my opinion. God, I love this blog.
Very few players can be brilliant all of the time. You have to accept solid with flashes of brilliance.
Strangely, I find myself agreeing with both sides of this discussion. Sako, on his day, can be unstoppable. And I think he has more good days than bad. But he can be frustratingly bad too. Partly, I think, that’s because as his reputation has grown, so teams have doubled and sometimes trebled up on him. On his good days, even that isn’t enough and leaves holes elsewhere for the other two members of the magic trio to benefit. But on his bad days it can make it look like he’s just being greedy and taking on the world to the detriment of the team. I’d rather start next term with him than without him, but being without doesn’t hold too many fears for me as there are plenty of good wingers about. Not with his goal threat, but with Dicko, Afobe, oh, and Dangerous Dave of course, we’ll be fine. 🙂
Yes mate. It is frustrating isn’t it. I also agree that I would rather he stay, but the point I am making is if he doesn’t then that is not the end of the world. I am getting excited about the start of the season already. I am interested in who we are going to get in. There is talk already about a Derik Osebe; a 22 yr old CB from Real Madrid (B Team I must add) and a Nadir Ciftci; a 23 year old Striker from Dundee Utd. Don’t know anything about them though lol.
See you next season buddy.
Fairly forthright then Brompto..n
lol
I love these conversations Steve. Keep them coming mate. This is what is so good about this blog.
You will note that I have changed my handle …………… if you can’t beat them ………..
Take care mate
Gentlemen,
Please be assured that significant funding will be released to Kenny to allow him to strengthen the team in the areas he deems necessary. I wish to take this opportunity to thank you for your tremendous support and look forward to achieving our aim next season and gain automatic promotion to the Premier League. Even though it is extremely likely that Sako will leave us before the start of the season, we are already in deep conversation with a number of clubs for a replacement. Should we be unsuccesful, I shall have the cost of the Pies reduced throughut the gound
JM
I m going to reduce the pies as well
Fo me
I thought we d never replace Jarvis or fletcher . Players come and go .. Sako could have got injured and we’d be facing the same dilemma ..’so I agree with rompto on this matter
I am with Vimto on this one in the Prem Sako will be an impact bench warmer.
Lol .. Hello. Colin , how are you mate ! .. Don’t you get upsetting old vimto , he s a good old boy plus he ll have that firm from Preston on our case . Love you too tonto
Ok London good to see you back on the blog yeh less of the vimto !
Pmsl. I succumb to pressure and dropped the letter n and now I become rompto and vimto. Class, utter class. There is no other blog like this one. Love you guys!!!
Back to normality though.
… I hope no one “ever” asks me if I fancy a Vimto :-/ (No disrespect to you romper) just not my type!
I don’t like vimto either mate. Do they still make the stuff? I remember it when I was a kid, and that is a long long time ago now.
I was thinking about changing my handle, but don’t want to buy another of those extremely expensive rip off Polo Shirts.
If you rip off your polo shirt you’ll get a yellow card.
True, I’ll have to try and get the buy one get one free if spelled wrong deals.
Mind you it is currently better than London wolves lo.
maths not really a strong point?
Must be Moxey’s statement
Vimtoromptorompertonto Wolf …. It will be a very expensive shirt if you start being charged by the letter!
Have to shorten it then mate
Must be time for Dandelion and Burdock to have their say. They’ll tell us if they’re going to invest in the team this time around.
Well if we are all playing this “loose a letter game”………………
Lovely to see Real Madrid get knocked out of the Tea Cup.
Not because of their overpaid, overhyped prima donnas, but because of the come uppance to Sergio Ramos.
That wanker is the biggest cheat, and the biggest cry baby in world football, and to see him give away a stupid free kick which lead to the equalizer was poetic justice.
What a tosser.
Now for a boring 0 – 0 draw in the final!
Stupid game
F o ulis !
Yes very stupid. But tis is wat hapens when we get bord. Mind you, I am sure you started it!!!
Will be goals in the final Clive but Bale missing chances like that…he’s Man Utd bound….
Or he could come to us…..that would be nice…
What does anyone reckon to the interest we’re showing in Sammy Ameobi?
Seems to me that ‘gangly, inconsistent, final product far to often found wanting’ is JUST what we want at the moment!!
And ………………
Derik Osede: 22 year old CB from Real Madrid (B Team)
Nadir Ciftci: 23 year old STR from Dundee Utd
Abdoul Camara: 25 year old STR/WGR from Angers SCO
Josh Ginelly: 20 year old STR/WGR from Shrewsbury Town
Wikipedia them …………….. Hmmmmmmmmmmm.
Jed wallace from Portsmouth??????
Clive Hill from Houston rangers???????
Steve Biles from Catterick rovers
And Uncle Tom Cobblers and all
It is Houston Dynamo.
Get yer fax right, Stewpony!!!
Clive,
Eat yer Snickers.
Your’e a right Diva when your’e hungry.
More like Dynamo (Loco) motive
🙂
Oh yes.
Jokes made me larf, class stuff.
Thank you, keep emcoming.
I like the unknown quantity aspect of that camara .
Watching some of the snippets , I was thinking there’s not much end product , then I realised they were extracts from the same games so he was obviously dominating these matches . Difficult to know the quality of the other players though. All the same , he looks fast and tricky . Exciting looking player !!
We should pretend we want Ameobi so as that prick PULIS buys him .
F o PULIS .
Nahhh.., we want Sagbo. He’s out of contract… better (not?) let Pullis know what a gem he is.
Something to help see you through the summer.
Sound not so good but it just goes to show that class is permanent.
Crack open a bottle, sit back and relax.

Seen ’em 4 times in Houston.
They are the only band I will pay to go and see now, especially Joe Walsh, a wizard on the guitar.
Saw them last November in Dallas Texas at the American Airlines centre. Life long fan watching his all time best band. Like a dog with two tails. And yes, Joe Walsh is a demon with that guitar.
All time fav song – “Taking it easy”, even stood on the corner in Winslow Arizona with the wife. Amazing, pure Amazing band.
Hoping to do it again soon,
COYW
Fly high you Eagles
🙂
You really need to get a life!!
Why didnt you call me, we would have joined you, only 4 hours up the road from Houston!!
Get a life?
Best team in the World.
Best Blog in the World.
Best band in the World.
It don’t get any better.
Fowb
Just caught up with the blog you guys
are witty and commited or should be. I have sprinkled some fairy dust likes because too often on here they are only given to those who answer to an agenda but thats partly our fault. Upwards and Upwards (for LWl PULIS YOU ARE A TWAT).
And next season a chance for some revenge against ipshit and brentferd
Best results of the weekend.
Stick that in your fuckin’ clipbored, McDickwadhead wanker!!!!
Don’t hold back Clive… We all know you are suppressing your feelings. 🙂
And Berra got sent off!!
You couldn’t make this stuff up!!
I aint loffed so much since the house fell on me sister!!
The only surprise was that it was for handball and not penalty area wrestling!
Well I wanted the inbreds to lose . Now they re all going home to shag their sister aunties and then there ll be a load more of them .

It could be the subject for a new blog.
A certain Wolves goalkeeper testing positive for drugs.
What do you reckon…
Fancy a snort anyone?
Goal line technology required as the White Lines become blurred!
As an Ambulance man for 33 years and a Paramedic for 22 years I dealt with iIlegal substances a lot, I have to hold my head in shame and say I pre-judged a lot of people. With age came tolerance and a better understanding.
I know for certain on tnis blog site of three bloggers who drugs have affected their lives, either personally or in the family, I make the number to four with a close family member having been affected by them too.
Funny when it hits you personally you take a different stance and look at it in a different light.
I met Aaron McCarey at the Huddersfield away game and he posed for photos for a friends children,
if he has taken substances knowingly then he has my sympathy.
If he has not, then he still has my sympathy, because shit sticks and we British do love to kick a man when he’s down.
It’s a dark day for Wolves what ever the outcome.
.:-(
With the money even our players have and the Jack the lad lifestyle that goes with the job coke has to be all over the football leagues..
Although alcohol I put up there too as it’s as addictive..I say that one with experience..
Stu..If they tested bi weekly they would shut down football..
Our man just got caught…
Side note..
Mc carthy s back where he belongs…..in the championship..
I have nt read anywhere that he s taken cocaine , all I’ve seen is that he s failed on a non performance related substance .
I work on passenger bearing equipment which is safety critical A , I am ,therefore often tested for drugs . There are reasons why some one could fail a test ie co codamol can show up as cocaine Etc . Hopefully he can clear his name . Imagine having the talent to play professional football and making a mistake like that eh !?
Maybe the powers to be should look at the obvious stuff …Take PULIS for example .. It’s quite obvious from his behaviour that he must be taking loads of something ,as no one could possibly be that much of twat naturally . He s taking some sort of twatty behaviour enhancing substance , he s got to be !
FO PULIS twat !
Some good posts again… and you are right LWL that Random concoctions can give misleading readings. Also StuWolf spot on the money and that in the meantime player suspensions cast doubt on a professional players waywardness.
Should have all been dealt with in confidence and only released upon “proven” guilty of his recreational, accidental or even spiked intake.
If I had to have a test at work and all got out before I could clear my name, I’d be too embarrassed to go back into work, as StuWolf points out “shit sticks”.
