Listening to Wolves’ soul destroying surrender on the radio probably begged more questions than Bradley Walsh on my favourite quiz show.
The Chase for Championship survival is now well and truly on as our pathetic failures of past regimes – mingled with some of the most gutless foreign imports known to man – lurch to yet another disaster, this time away at Cardiff.
Which begs the questions:
Which team is worse?
a) Wolves 2012/13 b) Wolves 2016/17 c) New Mills AFC 2015/16
Which team surrenders possession the most prolifically?
a) Wolves 2016/17 b) Sunderland 2005/06 c) The Blind School
Which of the following are the slowest midfield pairing in Wolves’ history?
a) Darren Ferguson and Mark Rankine b) David Edwards and George Saville c) Conor Coady and George Saville
Who is the worst signing in the history of Wolverhampton Wanderers?
a) Robert Taylor b) Ivan Cavaleiro c) Tomasz Frankowski
Which Wolves striker is the most impotent?
a) Robert Taylor b) Jon Dadi Bodvarrson c) Tomasz Frankowski
Who would Wolves like to play least in a one-off cup fixture if their lives depended on it?
a) Stoke City b) Stourbridge Town c) Wolves under-23s
Other questions for another day would be along the lines of: Why does Tim Spiers and company idly describe our squad as being ‘well resourced with individual quality’ when it is patently clear that it is well resourced only in ‘hopeless, substandard losers who are barely adequate for League One.’
Another headscratcher was Craig Noone’s omission from Cardiff City’s line-up when he is clearly better than any winger I have seen at Molineux in the past 11 months. Ergo, Cardiff win at a canter when he came onto the pitch.
Meanwhile, is there a single fan whose heart doesn’t sink when Helder Costa is substituted?
Questions about Fosun’s commitment to a League One club really don’t bear thinking about just yet, but unless Lambert can act quickly in January, then I’ll expect to be asking them soon.

Another question. What kind of lunatic is going to sign for us in January given the state we’re in?
Every time I see Saville starting I am sure we will lose.
I know Dave Edwards ‘scores’ a few, but as a midfielder, he is useless.
When he plays, for at least 60 minutes, it is like we are playing with 10 men.
I doubt Costa will be here after January.
Cavaliero, next to Costa, is our best player and I doubt he will want to stay either.
And, as idiot from Croydon says, who will want to play for us?
Lambert has to make his mark.
Obviously Rob Edwards is not the greatest ‘trainer’ and as for that Thelwell…
Less said the better.
The midfield may not have functioned optimally, but I don’t think one can blame the midfield for the two goals we conceded. The two goals were conceded on two set pieces. The defense struggled with high crosses into to box last season also. When that’s sorted out we will concede fewer goals.
So, we didn’t play Dicko and Bod together. We did perversely persevere with Saville. We didn’t take advantage of our supersize squad to play some fresh legs. Saturday’s ‘heroes’ were obviously going to be drained physically and emotionally, yet they were all wheeled out again, apart from the addition of Saville and Stears. As far as I saw on the BBC live text it was like the Alamo again the first half, after our freak early goal.
The E&S comes out with the ‘shock’ news that Mike Williamson is almost ready to play a trial game.
Why am I not excited ?
I don’t believe we’ll be relegated, but obviously it’ll be a case of boring old consolidation until 2017/18.
Meanwhile we can cheer on little Stourbridge Town !
For the first time this season I’m being to realise that relegation is a distinct possibility. With 2 wins at home all season and failing to get that managerial change bounce we are in real trouble. The defence is shocking and not good enough for this standard and there is neither any real bite or creativity in centre midfield. We need an Alex Rae or an Incy or a bloody miracle. As I have said before we also need a new captain as Danny is in such poor form and lacking in confidence that his place in.the side can no longer be tolerated or justified. This season has all the hallmarks of the Solbaken/Saunders season. I am desperately disappointed with the new owners coming in and had such high hopes but this now seems another ‘false dawn’. There is still time to turn things around but with a tricky visit to Forest on Saturday and two difficult games at home over Christmas things could get desperate. The January transfer window can’t come quick enough let’s hope it’s not too late.
As far as honeymoons go think PL flew home early last night. In midfield we are persisting with a shape and personnel that just isnt working. Bad as we are in defence we are having too much defending to do and by the same token the service to the forwards is often non exsistant. The next few weeks could now decide Paul Lamberts future at Wolves he needs to show what he can do.
Well I guess this is the result of poor high level decision making on player recruitment for the last three or four years. A previous owner who wouldn’t buy experienced players (too expensive presumably) instead dictating that we buy young players from lower levels with “potential for the future” (presumably to fatten up and sell on for a profit). Then new owners who buy players who may have ability but are mainly struggling to adapt to the league. Some don’t even look like they can be bothered to even try when on the pitch.
There are some good players hidden away in our squad but the time has come to be ruthless and dismantle this squad, keep the best and start again. It will take a few transfer windows to sort this out. Hopefully with little influence from Thelwell or Mendes.
At least Lambert has recognised that we need to bring in experienced players who have seen it and done it in this division. How many will be willing to come to us in January is another matter.
Baoji
Baoji
Without the funny accent things, that is the closest I can find to “relegation” in Chinese.
If you read this, Jeff, you had better get used to the word, which will be the most used between now and May.
All football managers seem to have their “love child”
McDickwadhead had Ward.
It now appears Lambert has Saville.
And Batth.
And Edwards
Why are they undroppable?
Once again, Amanda apart, it seems that twenty million Wolves fans can see the bleedin’ obvious, but our manager cannot.
One of the definitions of mind blowing stupidity is to keep playing the same players in the same positions and hoping, nay praying, for different results.
It aint gonna happen!
Jeff had better embrace the spirit of Christmas real soon, and spend some serious dosh on new players, and silly wages, or its Baoji.
Hey Clive. I guess the reason Lambert is playing those players is because we have about 9 players according to the E&S that are either injured or unfit so until then he has little choice but to play with the hand he’s been dealt. Pretty poor state of affairs considering the £14m spent in the summer.
The ones available but being left out are Silvio, Borthwick-Jackson, Wallace and Gladon. I’m not sure any of those would improve the team although with Iorfa playing so badly one of the two defenders might be worth giving a go.
I hope you’re right and we see a few good quality additions in January to help avoid Baoji…!
Clive, you missed Iorfa from your list of love children – the lad has gone seriously backwards in 2 seasons.
Look at him failing to close down Pilkington for Cardiff’s winner – in case anyone is wondering, I’m talking Anthony and not Karl, but the latter would probably bamboozle poor Dominic as well!
Not happy!
Did n`t know the team who started until this morning, but I mean Saville and Edwards as our central midfielders, shocking selection asking for trouble and we`ve got it big style.
Why leave Coady, probably the best of a bad bunch, and Jack Price on the bench was palpable nonsense.
No manger should play Edwards as one of a 2 man midfield, he may run around more than anyone else (headless chicken?) but he is too slow, and Saville is even slower, talk about when Cardiff upped the tempo we were screwed. Neither can be a holding midfielder to sit in front of our already fragile defence.
Despite his goals Edwards is well past his sell by date, just highlights the lack of quality in the rest of the squad, and on a cold night in South Wales against a Warnock side, we should have played numbers in midfield with maybe only one of the Portugese wingers as the outlet.
Very disappointing result, performance and team selection for me. If he picks that side at Forest on Saturday, expect the same result I`m afraid.
Mark, agree with you re: Edwards 100 per cent midfielder who has just been given a new 3 year deal, shocking……absolutely shocking….!
In the absence of being able to get Allardyce, I supported the appointment of Lambert as the next best option. I think the one thing that sets a good manager apart is the ability to have early impact. McCarthy had it when he inherited a threadbare squad post Hoddle. Jackett had it when he had to manage the bomb squad in the journey back from League One. Got to say, thus far, I’ve been disappointed with Lambert’s impact. However, I’ll reserve judgement until Feb/March when he has had a transfer window and chance to mould his players into a new team. The pressure is well and truly on Lambert but that is nothing compared to Fosun and Thelwell if they don’t deliver high quality and experienced championship players in January. For a variety of reasons, the current squad (inc. I would suggest some of the backroom staff e.g. Edwards as asst first team coach and Daley as fitness coach) are clearly not fit for purpose. Major, major surgery is needed to root out the culture of excuses and failure that now pervades the club in many areas. Only so much can realistically be achieved in the next few weeks but nevertheless I expect a demonstration of real urgency with a clutch of signings/departures announced as the window opens because if they are not, then we have clearly failed to plan properly.
Agree totally Sutton re Edwards, I said when he took over the first team he wasn’t good enough I’ve no doubt he loyalty to Wolves but when you think how long he been here both as first team coach and under 21 s neither have really progressed in fact I’d suggest the oppersite I even said at the time Edwards was forced on Lambert, all be it politely.
Ok. A bit harsh but here goes
1 / c
2 / c
3 / a
4 / c
5 /c
I didn’t go and I’m only going on radio commentary, but Dominic iorfa
As promising as he is , clearly either as not as good as we thought or not ready . A game clearly where jack price marshaling a sloppy midfield would have been a much better alternative to George savlle.
Keep Matt Dohertybut I’m afraid that . Stears . Danny . Dominic . Should all go .
Wolves were sounding leggy as the game progressed, I absolutely agree with John Payne
How an we be leggy with a squad the size of ours ?
Aston Villa- Steve Bruce appointed. Steadys’ ship and advances up league.
Leeds: Gary Monk appointed. Steadys’ ship advances up the league.
Cardiff: Warnock appointed ( see above)
Paul Lambert appointed : still a chaotic disorganised rabble with no system. Are our players any worse than the above ??? Or is the malaise deeper…. I don’t know. I wasn’t thrilled about Paul Lambert as a manager but I thought he’d have the ability to mould us into a workman like, but uninspiring, unit. Early days I know but I don’t have much confidence for the relegation battle ahead
Maybe. But non of the above appointees inherited such unadulterated dross pretending to be professional footballers. This is not Lambert`s fault. We must surely give him a reasonable chance.
If there`s any finger pointing to be done it should be aimed at the self styled guru Thelwell, who has shown himself to be clueless, and completely unfit for the key job that he now occupies.
What you talking about ‘its not Lamberts fault’. Are you in denial ?
Another manager who signs on the dotted line after saying ‘yes I,m your man’, to all the job requisites and the cash he is being paid.
And you with your minimal knowledge of Wolves backroom staff and Shetland ponies have the audacity to blame someone else.
For the benefit of you never attending an interview, Mark McGhee 2 would not have been handcuffed and threatened with a shotgun to take the Wolves job.
He would have had his role explained in great detail and responded accordingly, in stating his ability to do the job.
If he is not up to it he should do the honourable thing as Kenny Jackett did at Rotherham.
CLEAR OFF and not be supported by ‘wet’ excuses from fans such as you.
Strong review once again Ben, would echo your sentiments on all fronts.
I was perplexed by the ticker tap parade that was afforded to Fosun upon their arrival in the summer; at risk of sounding like an overzealous Ukipper, when has East Asian ownership ever benefited a football club in this country? Always feared it’d go a bit Vincent Tan but at present our current state of affairs is worse than that of our opponents last night…at least Tan got Cardiff to the Premier League in relatively quick fashion. We’re further away from it than ever.
January is the most pressing issue for us now but further reaching changes are going to be needed if Fosun are going to fulfil their oft stated ambition of sustained Premier League football. Kevin Thelwell makes that burke who oversaw Villa’s summer recruitment last year look competent; under his stewardship we have signed a crop of painfully average ‘prospects’ that are no better now than when they were first prematurely dumped into the first team. When we have spent relatively big it’s been on similarly limited footballers such as Connor Coady, who it’s astounding to think was coached by the same club that produced the likes of Steven Gerrard and Jamie Carragher. Whilst this summer’s business may not have been conducted entirely on his watch, he ought to be shown the door sooner rather than later.
Clarity needs to be given from the board as to Jorge Mendes’ involvement with the club (i.e. will he dictate all forthcoming transfer windows or was this summer just an exercise in topping up an understaffed squad?). Almost all of the players he recommended have been an unprecedented disaster, ones that have laboured under the illusion of being ‘cultured’ footballers due to their current employers but are actually no better than the good honest pros (e.g. James Henry) that they have nudged out of the team.
I mean, think about them in sequential order…
Lonergan – Nothing more than a steady understudy to Ikeme, this years’ Martinez.
Costa – Admittedly quality but starting to look jaded and unlikely to sign permanently.
Silvio – Who? Apparently no better than the struggling Iorfa and defensively inept Doherty.
Teixeira – A spoilt brat with nowhere near as much talent as his early displays led us to believe.
Bodvarsson – A decent foil for a goalscorer that we don’t have, otherwise a non entity.
Prince – Like Doumbia before him, doesn’t appear to possess the stamina to cope with Championship football.
Borthwick-Jackson – Laughable that he’s registered as a Man United player. The worst left back I’ve seen since Jamie Clapham.
Ola John – Who? Popular at Reading but nowhere to be seen thus far. Disastrous signing.
Gladon – Seriously, who the f**k recommended this guy? Looked awful in the games he’s played and can’t make the bench at a time when his competitors can’t hit a barn door or, in Dicko’s case, score into an open goal.
Saiss – In my opinion the best of the bunch but his form has been stop start. Picks up too many yellow cards also.
Stearman – Seemed like a good idea to bring him back but in reality is a limited defender who hasn’t stabilised the back four.
Cavaleiro – Disgraceful that this guy is our record signing. Talented, yes. Interested, no.
Lambert’s track record with transfers is steady so hopefully if he’s given free reign we can rectify these wrongs but, if not, I’m sorry to say but the only direction we’re heading is down.
As for Ben’s quiz, here’s my penny’s worth:
Q1: Wolves 2016/17
Q2: As above
Q3: Coady and Saville
Q4: Frankowski
Q5: As above
Q6: Stourbridge…though I reckon on current form they’d thump us!
Good post BR – I agree with your sentiments regarding transfer policy.
As my earlier post I suspect that Thelwell was only following orders from Morgan but he has to be held accountable for his recruitment. It’s amazing that McCarthy managed to build a squad that won the title by shopping in the lower leagues and the bargain basement and Thelwell is a million miles away from that sort of transfer success. I said at the time that his promotion and not replacing Moxey with another experienced (although obviously better!) CEO was a mistake.
On the summer recruitment I’m led to believe that it was a mish-mash of ideas from Thelwell (Lonergan, Bodvarsson, Borthwick-Jackson, Stearman), Mendes (Costa, Silvio, Teixeira, John, Cavaleiro) and Bhutti (Oniangue, Gladon, Saiss) with no real strategy involved. Too many chefs spoil the broth it would seem.
Like you I believe that Lambert needs to have a massive input into recruitment from this point on. His signings at Norwich and Villa were mainly on the mark.
I agree Newt that Mick’s achievements look more impressive now than they did before. Not surprising that they were done without outside interference, other than that of Morgan and Moxey who in all fairness generally let Mick and TC get on with things themselves (or so it seemed).
I’m also of the belief that it was a major mistake not to recruit externally when Jez Moxey left, he may of been a pantomime villain but he was bloody good at running a football club efficiently and within budget. Can we trust any of the current crop to do it as well as he did? I don’t think so.
I’m hoping that we can eek enough points to get us to the transfer window outside the bottom three and that PL can then bring in the three or four quality players we need immediately (more are obviously needed come the summer) to achieve a respectable finish. When he had money at Villa he tended to spend it well (Lowton, Westwood, Gil and obviously Benteke being examples) and his recruitment at Norwich was spot on, with many of his signings still at the club to this day.
Usually I’m an optimist but at present I have a horrible sinking feeling about proceedings. Fosun really need to come good next month and show us they’re serious about building something memorable at the club, otherwise they could become more reviled than Morgan was (unfairly in my opinion) towards the end of his tenure.
I think it has something to do with the timing of the takeover, the replacement of Jackett, and how much time it was left before the transfer deadline. The shopping round was done in a hurry.
Newt and Co stop being deluded and believing that you know the role of Thelwell and that of being a CEO.
Still looking for someone to blame, droning on about Morgan and Moxey still but shifting it now to Thelwell, before the the manager who is useless.
Remember you are opinionated forum punters ansd nothing more.
You do not own the business called Wolverhampton Wanderers therefore its none of you business.
I don’t know. I just feel more confident with Lambert as coach. I know it doesn’t make any sense, I just do.
Of course there’s case for blaming players – but paul lambert has to take a big chunk of the blame
zenga inherited Jacketts donkeys – those that morgan couldnt sell for love or money – supplemented by 13 of mendes’ mercenaries … yet he managed to get them to play. His schizo ensemble still whallopped newcastle brum and villa in style and it was only a poor run of 4 or 5 games at the end that saw him out the door.
i ask you then, lambert has had 4 or 5 games, and his scenario is exactly the same as zengas, yet all he has managed is a decidedly unconvincing win over 10 man QPR.
Boring dross is all he offers up – with much worse results than zenga.
dontknow if its been mentioned elsewhere, but he’s already proven to me he cant cut it. he is still in a job because there is quite literally nobody else available, and fosun would be loathe to weild the axe again so soon no matter how shit this bloke is.
yes, we need defenders, but costa, cav, jon dadi, saiss even tex have all proven they CAN tear up this league if shown how to ./
send batth iorfa and haus out on loan or to Findus for all i care and let stears, williamson and one or two other new recruits take over at the back.
as soon as a half decent manager even hints at leaving their club, replace the wet blanket we’ve currently … if for no other reason than to put an end to his regurgitated parrot shit excuses after each and every gutless performance.
I strongly disagree. Paul Lambert cannot possibly be blamed for the sheer mess that he inherited. It`s not his fault that we have a multitude of no hopers of worse than Division 1 standard, who masquerade as professional footballers. Give the guy a chance. Judge him when he has had the opportunity to bring in experienced players of his own choosing.
In the meantime I suggest you direct your ire at the idiot Thelwell, who has had a big hand in creating our present plight. By far the majority of players he has “recommended” have proven to be totally useless. The man is clueless, and should be marched out of the door tomorrow.
OK, I’ll grant you Thelwell – but I will also remind you that Zenga got these muppets playing some of the best passing, fast flowing, sublime football ive seen in gold in well, pretty much my entire life. How’d he do that and why cant the wet sock we currently have ?
I’ve just read that ROwett has been inexplicably given the hoof – GET HIM IN
WE ARE GOING NOWHERE WITH LAM-players gave their all-BERT
He’s given Edwards a 3 year deal and thinks Savilles the bees knees……….come on !
WTF?
WTF?
WTF?
Well Clive I looked it up on Noodle and that’s the closest to WTF I can find in Chinese.
I couldn’t go last night due to a family problem and I won’t be there Saturday for the same reason, (thank Feck I think)
It really sounded dire on the radio and when the goals flashed up on Sky instead of watching the goals, I looked at the defending. It was Shite with a capital Batth. He’s a liability of Epic proportions.
When the team bus pulls up at games, although only 11players go out on the pitch, hundreds of Clingons get off the bus, hundreds of the useless feckers.
We have a bloke who trains the goalies, (to hoof the ball in tne air, aimed at the lone and smallest player in our side)
We have a trainer, (who couldn’t win a game when given the opportunity because he stuck with the same plan as every other dick)
We have a physio, (who looks like Linford Christie, but seems unable to keep our team fit even though they play on a billiard table)
We have a Coach, (who is spouting so much shite, he makes Donald Trump and Boris Johnson sound believable)
So where is our defence trainer, (conspicuous in his absence, nowhere to be seen, no evidence of any said training to be found)
We cannot pass out of defence, Thommo was pulling his curly locks out last night at the number of times we passed to their players, he could not believe how far we stand off players, at one point one player ran 40 yards to the corner flay to waste time, well he wasted his own time as it was because no twat followed him
Where is this extra training Edwads, Saville, Bodvarrson, Doherty and all the other PR excercises have spouted about, we can’t last Ferguson’s 90 minutes then some. We are crap at defending, we have been crap at defending for the last two seasons, when is someone going to wake up smell the coffee and act. Basic football is lacking at our club, defending is non-existent, ask Steve Showcase for feck sake someone from our club ask Steve Showcase.
We are not a good side, we are a long way off being a good side and methinks it will take time and someone better than Mr Lambert to make us a good side if he can’t do something about the very problem he has highlighted.
Comes to something when we all get excited about a game where we let 4 feckin stupid goals in. Two wonder goals my Arse, if we had marked them properly on Saturday they would have not been in a position to shoot in the first place.
We are dire, we are not living the dream as promised by Fosun, we are living a lie. More bad times lie ahead methinks before we break free of Thelwell, Edwards and Daley.
Oh woe is me……..
“I can accept getting beaten- it happens- but when you don’t turn up or put your boots on that doesn’t wash with me” Lamberts words? No Steve Bruce’s after Villa ‘s loss last night. Lamberts excuse ” we were tired” Not half as bloody tired as me crawling into bed at 1.30 this morning after coming back from watching that fiasco. No one with the possible exception of Stearman came out of it with any credit at all. Iorfa was terrible playing with no interest at all just like Afobe before he went, a foot taller than their winger and never won a header!! As for Saville he shouldn’t even be allowed near the bench. Normally I am a positive person but I saw nothing to be positive about last night. Let’s hope something miraculous happens in the transfer window or division one here we come.
Let’s call it like it is……………………..Third Division!!
Clive how’s it going with the lovely Amanda ? The sexual tension is unbearable, will Thomas have to buy a new hat soon?
Lowves,
Spot on mate – I too got home at 1.30.
I am a glass half full sort of guy, but after that insipid clueless display I am still too incandescent with rage to post a proper comment on the game, other than everyone should take the blame at WWFC for this – the manager, players, coaching staff all give the impression that they have no idea whatsoever about how to play basic football (that’s right football not hoofball!). Young Harry Burgoyne made a superb save from Noone early in the second half, otherwise it might have been worse.
The complete lack of quality in our organisation from top to bottom is truly astounding.
If Lambert doesn’t get a grip soon we are gonna get relegated, because there’s no sign that the current bunch can turn the tide.
Worrying times!
Agree Wokingham about young Harry a good keeper in the making, but his kicking needs to be worked on – it was a bit wayward last night. Saw him in the U21 Checkatrade trophy on Monday when he saved 2 penalties, very impressive as were the team in general, in fact we could do worse than play the whole team on Saturday they would certainly show more commitment than we witnessed last night. Going to Forest – they can’t be that bad again – Can they??

In my gloom last night I went through all of our current 35 player squad and played a game of Keep, Buy, Loan or Ditch. After putting Zyro to one side as I don’t think we will see him this season apart from maybe a few sub appearances in April/May here is what I came up with in the search for PL’s magical 23 man squad;
KEEP (19)
Ikeme, Lonergan, Burgoyne, Iorfa, Hause, Silvio, Williamson, Doherty, Saiss, Coady, Oniangue, Edwards, Costa, Cavaleiro, John, Graham, Dicko, Bodvarsson, Enobakhare
BUY (4)
Centre back, Left back, Attacking/creative central midfielder, Striker
LOAN OUT (4)
Flatt, Deslandes, Ebanks-Landell, Ronan
DITCH (11)
Stearman, Batth, Borthwick-Jackson, Evans, Price, Saville, Wallace, Henry, Teixeira, Mason, Gladon
Don’t expect anyone to agree with me 100% (or even 50%?) and am sure both Price and Mason in particular will have their supporters but am so pissed off right now I am past caring! lol
P.S. Just had an email from Wolves saying that its my last chance to order stuff from the Club Shop before Christmas. I replied with the question “Where can I order a new team from?”. I don’t expect a reply.
False dawns seem to be the stuff of those who support the Wolves. Seems this team have forgotten how to win consistently.
Yet again losing a goal towards the end. Very poor that. 4-4-2 for me. We’re poor defending, lack power & creativity in centre mids, but in attack I have hope, just about, that we have 4 attackers capable of putting the opposition to bed night after night.
We don’t win with 4-3-3, let’s at least try 4-4-2. Without a post xmas miracle in January I cannot see any alternative as we cannot play the way Lambert is currently setting them up.
Didn’t go nor did I hear it just checked Twitter, very predictable Wolves. Surely we can do better? Let’s thump Forest at the weekend please & then don’t look back.
The only problem with having four capable scorers (presumably Cav, Dicko, Bod and Costa) is that A: Not that many goals between them, and B: you are weakining an already weak midfield. Can you imagine only 2 CM in front of our back 4? If we do strengthen the defence and a couple of strong midfield players, then yep, I’m with you on all those 4 from the start in a 442 formation.
For my comments on last night see the previous thread.
With regard to improving the side I watched the Bolton game on Monday night. How about Spearing for midfield and captain. Stroppy little bastard but miles better than anyone we have. Bolton are back in the finance crap make an offer they can’t refuse.
Like the rest of you I am beginning to wonde where the next win is coming from.
For god’s sake start the clearout now and sack Thellwell
Missed the game as away this week in the land of Clive. It seems it was fortuitous that I couldn’t find a way of following the game apart from texts from home.
Total frustration apparent amongst all bloggers and worldwide fans but nothing any of us can do to improve things.

Totally depressed listening to Wolves Player yesterday and particularly how we seemed to invite them on to us in the second half. That tackle on Costa in the first half seemed to knock the stuffing out of the rest of the team.
At least I haven’t had a lot of stick this morning from my Cardiff-supporting work colleagues. I think I have the sympathy vote.
I fee thoroughly sorry for Paul Lambert, in that he has walked into a group of totally inadequate players, no-hopers, the majority of whom are Division 1 standard or worse. Collectively they are joke. An absolute disgrace.
There is little point in singling out non performers, since it is almost impossible to nominate one who isnt. — although I can`t not express mindblowing amazement that Savile gets anywhere team the team. Iorfa is not far behind.
What is required is nothing less than a major clear out of the dross. No tinkering round the edges. We can only pray that Mr Lambert is given freedom to use his own judgement to commence this process in January and that he is accorded sufficient funds to at least ensure that we have a chance to stave off relegation this season. The idiot Thelwell needs locking away while this takes place.
As I posted last night – who the fuck is going to come here in January? Equally, who is going to want the shite we need to get rid of to make room for any new ones?
This is a right royal balls up. It starts at the top for me. No football nous on the board and the puppeteer pulling the strings is a Portuguese con merchant. Not a recipe for success is it?
It would be fair to say that we are now verging on disaster and more historic tales of woe..
We can all criticise the players.. every one …but the midfield and particularly any player that scores is directly influenced physiologically or professionally by the goals that we concede.
In other words even if we score 1 or even 0 we don’t loose…
I can guarantee if big Sam was in the chair he would rebuild but from the back inc first the goalie ..our no1 and no2 is being sniped at by our junior one incidentally..
The DB syndrome is now at a stage where if we continue to play kamakaze or blind ineptness at the back then we WILL go down…
-Purely because even if we do score 1 or 2 goals we could still concede 3 ..
It isn’t complicated.
And I agree we should of dealt with this TWO seasons ago.
So..IMHO if we are to get to the promised land as we have all been told that is still the plan then PL is now unfortunately already on the line and if it takes even £100M to rebuild and if Fosun is serious then so be it and do it..
In the meantime the Cardiff type fixtures are perilous and with the current weaknesses virtually anything can happen..
From being in virtual utopia when Fosun bought the club,we are now in serious dire straights and further more money, not managerial experience will probably be the only answer to save some face.
Doherty’s goal was brilliant… shame about us doing the usual ..,giving it all away…. YET AGAIN..
Jeff Shi,..Sir…are you listening…..
This mess is down to Fosun. They decided to listen to Mendez and bring in his B rated players. Fosun haven’t a clue and rather listen th us the genuine fans who know this league inside out they have there heads turned by a smooth talking well tanned and slick operator that is Mendez.
Everyone even Moxey I suspect knew tis would end in disaster that why he couldn’t wait to join Norwich for h thought there not going to pin this one on me..!
We all know that to get out of this god for saken league you need proven championship players ones that don’t have to put 3 t shirts under the gold shirt and were gloves. One that know how to handle the muck and shite comeSaturday and Tuesday in the cold and wet.
Fosun have a responsibility now even if we do go down to stand by us not because its there fault the have a moral obligation to make good there mistakes they could start by listening to us the fans and investing some of there vast wealth in to recruiting the right players.
Oh and sacking Therwell and getting a proper director of football someone who’s respected in the game.
Out of darkness cometh light – out of adversity cometh triumph, out of time cometh League 1
PL looked like a lost man in his interview.
Tough times indeed.
….and WTF? Rowlett sacked by Birmingham – madness
Sign him up 2 week rolling contract all you can eat match day buffet.
Will be very interesting to see who blues get. Kenny Jackett ?
As much as it grieved me to drop 2 divisions in 2 seasons I have to admit it was enjoyable in the third division 2013/14 season. I missed 2 home games due to holiday (Walsall) and granddaughters birthday (MK Dons) which were the only two home defeats all season long.
Better home attendances creating at times a wonderful atmosphere, superb away support (hats off to the 700 at Cardiff last night by the way), winning games, goals aplenty and points on the board leading to Wolves – Champions!!
We were travelling home to Bedford in great spirit and raucous voice because irrespective of what division Wolves are in, when the team is winning the mood amongst the fans is wonderful. We actually took a 36 seater coach to MK Dons with the Bedford Wolf flag proudly on display.
Of course I don’t want to be relegated AGAIN to the third tier partly because I doubt we will make such a success of it this time round and I doubt the patience of supporters will be in evidence to witness another season in the third tier but having studied the blogs/reports and such like across the internet over the last hour or so most supporters and reporters seem to opine that this current squad simply are not good enough irrespective of who plays where and what team formation Lambert puts out. Relegation on current form (one win in eleven) is a nailed on certainty – it does not need Einstein to work that one out.
I have no idea what Fosun make of it all and what squad changes – if any – will be implemented come January and more to the point who will be making them.
The finger of accusation for our existing predicament seems to be pointing to Thelwell and I have to say I was surprised that as a member of the “old guard” he was kept on. Some bloggers on different Forums consider the guy to be a right prick and its hard to argue with that opinion if he pulls all the transfer strings and is ultimately responsible for attracting “talent” etc.
However again I have no idea who put pen to paper and agreed to sign all the players in July/August and how many formed Mendes “get rid off or offload soonest cause they am crap” list and dumped them down WV1 way.
On the Express and Star blog some geezer has written “this is no better and indeed far worse than under Jackett” and another “no wonder Moxey packed his bags he must have seen this mess coming” conveniently forgetting Moxey’s legacy (as well as Morgan’s) is a big part of why we are struggling and where we are now.
Well it goes without saying bloggers that unless some pretty radical action is taken by Fosun come the January window then we face a real struggle to keep our championship status.
Hell I don’t have the all the bloody answers but we had better start thinking about Gillingham and Yeovil (lovely West Country pies) and Fleetwood (excellent fish and chips on the front), Millwall (groan – another Stanley Knife attack), Walsall our local derby so Black Country ales beforehand, jellied eels in Southend, lovely curries in Bradford with hot naan straight from the oven, local derbies for us Bedford Wolves at MK Dons, Northampton, Peterborough, another away day at Charlton and that smashing pub off the A12 where we stopped before.. Actually guys – it seems ok to me – although I am only allowed six away games a season.
Look bloggers I am only trying to lighten the mood but underneath I am as pig sick of it all as anyone else.
For fucks sake – WIN SATURDAY YOU CRETINS!. Is that too much to ask – give us some hope.
BOG
I rate that rowlett . Bit like Kenny jackett . Hard to beat his teams . Blues must be more stupid than us .
we were too hasty to get rid of zenga
He got a few fantastic performances out of that side
Ben , I know you that you know your football and that your journalism is without question, also I know you only want the best for wolves but I think you are wrong in what you are saying about some of our team .
If we’d held that one nil lead everything would be different today. I think lambert has to shoulder most of the blame for last night . I wasn’t at the game but at one nil , Tommo was saying how much that remarkable four four draw must have taken out of the players .
It was obvious listening to the game that wolves grew tired just after half time and started playing too deep , losing possession , concentration and not clearing their lines .
Major culprit s seemed to be iorfa Saiss Ba’ath and unfortunately Matt Doherty … who we all know can play a bit !
We ve got fresh legs in price , Hause, bothwick johnson. , who I think looks a bit lightweight but a tidy player , coady , I don’t really rate him but he would get the nod over saville , who only had a couple of moments under jackett when he looked ok .
I d be interested to hear stu wolfs opinion on bright . All these rave reviews he gets . I’ve seen him play quite a few times and he’s done nothing to impress but Dicko is no where near form . Don’t start with him , especially after the game he’s just had . We’ve got a good player in Jon dadi, perfect for a cold December night away at Cardiff . Might not be scoring , but fresh legs , like to get at players.
I could go on but I think Paul lambert got to take a lot of the blame
Spot on LWL, apart from the fact that it wasn’t cold at the Legoland Stadium last night, despite Doherty wearing gloves! LOL!
Matt,
In a side playing well, to introduce Bright would be a great move and would do the lad’s confidence a power of good, he takes games by the horns in the U23’s and holds the ball well, attacks players and scores on a regular basis. But us introducing him in this team when we can’t supply him with half decent passes, can’t support him when he’s on a run or get people in the box when he’s taking aim is criminal and soul destroying. When he doesn’t turn the game around due to the above, he’s hauled off and we think he’s just another knob.
Just look at what fans are now saying about Bodvarrson, Costa, Cavalerio and Dicko, the poor suckers don’t stand a chance with the dross they are playing alongside, half of them can’t keep up with them and the other half can’t be arsed.
I have no doubt Bright has got a Bright future, but no with this team (as it is now)
Just a footnote…..
U23’s.
Played 10
Won 8
Lost 1
Drawn 1
They seem to have plenty of heart, passion, spirit and more importantly, they seem feckin interested. Conor Ronan, every game is a little star, does he get a look in Mr Lambert? No he doesn’t, give the lad a go he can’t be any worse than the other Shite in the midfield.
Good intell as always stu
LWL – you going Forest on Saturday?
As it goes bedders , I’ve just given my ticket to someone . I was looking forward to it but My little lad been rough this week and it’s been a bit of a strain to be honest . Mrs l w l has done the lions share but me disappearing with the wolves for the day would be a bit shit so , I’m taking the hit .
Are you driving your coach up there ?

That’s a shame as I was going to buy you a Christmas pint but I fully understand, family must come first even over our beloved Wolves.
Any idea where the LWSC lads are drinking before the game?
Want me to find out ( it will be a camra pub about 30 mins from the ground ) send me your email again bedders and I’ll ask pete
Ok cheers – dave@mcgirls.co.uk.
Am planning on meeting up with the Newark Wolves but its always nice to have a plan B.
Hi Dave
We are hoping to be in The Waterfront bar on Castle Wharf about 12ish. They do decent bar meals and it’s not too pricey. It wasn’t too crowded last season as most Wolves fans headed for the Wetherspoon pubs in the city centre. If LWSC or any others are meeting elsewhere, let us know.
Hi Ian
Ok I shall see you and your good lady in the Waterfront. Wasn’t that a Marlon Brando film? Oh no that was On The Waterfront. My train gets in at 12.14pm so by the time I get lost, walk to the pub, get even more lost and then find the pub it will be at least 1230pm I’d say.
Looking forward to it. Might have a mate with me (Forest fan) if he can persuade his other half to let him out to play.
You can’t get lost mate. Turn right out of the railway station, cross the road and you come to the canal within a couple of minutes. Look left and you will see all the bars across from the magistrates court.
Hahahaha, you don’t me – I can get lost walking from my front door to my car.
The issue for me will be which exit from the station I come out of and then it will be a case of which right? my right or your right? Trust me when I say …I WILL get lost.
Not going to add anything to what has already been said other than we somehow need to find 10 wins from 25 games. Having won 5 in 21 it could be difficult. Please not league 1 again. Sheff Utd have been stuck in there for years. And look at poor old Coventry. Shock at Blouse with Rowett going. Zola is the favourite for the job. As for us. On to Forest and let’s just bloody well hope for a win. We have only lost 1 away game on a Saturday all season. Yep clutching at straws but ANYTHING to give me hope. Luckily for us Rotherham Burton Blackburn all lost and Wigan play Newcastle tonite. Could have been worse!
Cheese .. when you talk sense, you talk a lot of it !
Saville gave probably one of the most inept midfield performances I think I have ever seen in a Wolves shirt in the Sheffield Wednesday game.
Lambert’s thinking must have been on similar lines as he took him off at half time. I felt somewhat reassured that we’d probably seen the last of him.
No such luck as he comes on as sub at QPR and totally stupifyingly actually starts last night. He was picked by Lambert, not any of the other coaching staff/hangers on mentioned above and there can be no excuse for such horrendous misjudgement whatsoever.
The big problem is that in training games our players face who? Yes, more of our players so even crap can look good when up against absolute crap!
We are deep in the mire I’m afraid. The wage bill of such a large squad must be massive and depending on the terms of the many loan deals it’s going to be very difficult to get rid of the many non performers to make room for the additions needed. I can’t see Fosun countenancing many more acquisitions without others being shown the door. And who would want such dross? Oh dear!!
Sums us lot up to a tee, it’s hard being a Wolves fan lately. (Last 2 seasons)
See your biting your nails Stu, must be the worry about something.
How come Southampton can swap manager so often and lose players yet still carry on like nothing has changed?
They have had the same recruitment guy for seven years. Maybe he knows how its done.
But we’re the same as the Saints.
WE swap managers regularly and carry on like nothing has changed.
We’re still crap!
Bring back zenga !!!
Regarding the game, it’s all been said. Disappointing, you might say.
Just a couple of thoughts. Listening to the radio commentary, the first half assault on Helder Costa seemed reminiscent of that which came close to ending Zyro’s career and seems to be a deliberate ploy of some Championship defenders to increase their chances of all three points. I recommend to wee Helder that he hightails it back to Portugal while he still has two legs to get there on.
We can only hope that Fosuns disappointment with Mr Mendes’s handiwork is the equal of ours. If so, perhaps Mr Lambert will indeed have free rein in the transfer market and we will be in with a much improved chance of getting out of this unholy mess we are in.
I am absolutely amazed that Blues have sacked Rowett. Completely gobsmacked. They deserve to be relegated. Even more.
The big problem at Wolves is there isn’t any real football people on the board or envolved in the recruitment of players that’s were the real problem ly everything since Fosun have taken over has been on the advice of people with here own NOT the clubs interest at heart.
Serious question. What exactly qualifies Kevin Thelwell to hold the position of power that he does? Successful ex footballer? No. Successful ex manager? No. Successful ex coach? No. Successful ex scout? No. He did not even play professional football. He made a name for himself coaching at academy level. Big deal. He is the last remaining element of the virus that infected our club – I think it’s called Morganmoxeyjackettitis – and needs to be jettisoned immediately.
absoloutly spot on my friend, and the rest of the backroom old guard, coaching, fitness ect..they been here to long and ruling the roost, the club needs a major overhaul big time.it needs and should have good people who know football well, and not just spout bullshite .they say ,a new broom comes in and cleans everything away for a fresh start, well our new broom has arrived with half the bristles missing if ya get my meaning.
What do you jokers know of the Wolves backroom and what qualifies Thelwell ?
Absolutely nothing……. like old fishwives looking to blame, when its clear that yet another manager is not what you thought he was…..a good manager.
Wolves Chinese Proverb.
Deluded supporters with no lead in their pencils
Have little of interest in life to write about.
Amanda Cape – otherwise known as a sad, single, obese little man with halitosis who still lives at home with his Mummy despite being in his mid 40’s, no job, never had a girlfriend and to make it even worse he supports the Sandwell Shadow Dwellers. His only enjoyment in life is being an internet troll. Unfortunately for him as we all know what he is his pathetic little posts are impotent. Like him.
Grow up women abuser, forum Godfather and old man who gives himself a silly name and posts child like gossip about a football team.
Get the snuff down ya Geri.
Fosun…………..Jeff…………..is there any body there……..hello !
I’ve just watched the highlights of the U23’s win against our chums from down the road.
I’ve decided that I’m supporting them from now on and the first team can ‘go tiddle’ as my dear old gran used to say.
I like to see a bit of effort, a few passes strung together and lots of shots on goal.
You remember lads. The goal. it’s the three white sticky thing with the netty thing joining them together.
The idea is to get the ball between…. Oh! Forget it, it’s too complicated.
Our defenders should know where the ball should go between them sticky netty post thingies. They see it happen every game!
Ben,
Your favourite quiz show is also my favourite quiz show , especially the episode with the question about Fanny Schmeller!!! Brilliant, absolutely brilliant.
Oh, sorry, are we on a football blog site?
I need say nothing, as it has all been said. and as a certain self proclaimed “rapper” would say it was:
S to the H to the I to the T
We need a team of Gary Breen’s
Go completely stark staring mad fosun………. SACK LAMBERT NOW……
….. GET ROWETT AND ALL HIS STAFF WHO WENT WITH HIM …. NOW .!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sams waiting in feb……..perhaps…
I just very sincerely hope we spend seriously on the big three players..
..and another 2….(if they would come..) and save PL’s arse..
I noticed the glazed eyes in the we’ve lost interview ..reminiscent of Villa…
Why do we do things uphill?..it’s so totally historic ..the Wolves way..
even with money…..
Who takes it on the chin….us…
Just to cheer you up before Xmas – tongue-tied after a couple of pints trying to say Oniangue? then try this.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ym7zAyruW0k
That was excellent, and of course, the only player in a Wolves shirt…………………
S. Bull Esq.
Clive
It’s just going viral but glad you liked it as millions will. It also features the man who never fails to appear on this Blog every transfer window – Frimpong (but in an Arsenal shirt).
Rumours are that DooGooder and StuWolf are already rehearsing to attempt to do this at the Bloggers Ball. Shall we start a collection now to ensure they DON’T try it?
No!
I already printed out the words and am busy practicing in the shower every morning.
Scared the dogs and all the birds in the neighborhood.
It will be brillo at the ball when we all get singing together!!
Don’t recall seeing a shit player in there, either.
FOwb
Will we need a T Shirt?
I’ll start it off with the first £5, you guys have suffered enough this season.
My theory is that Kevin Thelwell is actually Jez Moxey. Moxey gave the impression that he had gone to Norwich when what he really did was have Thelwell abducted and buried underneath the fly over at Junction 10a on the M6. Moxey then had extensive plastic surgery and went on a diet. His evil intention is to wreck Fosuns dreams and s**t on the fans he hates. So my question for the next parliament is this: JEFF. ARE YOU AWARE THAT KEVIN THELWELL MAY ACTUALLY BE JEZ MOXEY? IS PAUL GLADON THE BASTARD LOVE CHILD OF STEVE MORGAN ? Right. Back to the pint of carling.
I agree totally !!!!
Cheesy mate you are just scratching the surface.
I checked all over Walsall and cannot find his body mate!!
is it going to get any better Tobz………no…..ruff……ruff
From a long way away its sometimes difficult to pick up the mood and atmosphere…but not now.
I’ve no opinion yet on PL…but it could have been a better start…could hardly have been worse really, given the dismal teams he’s picked and the results they have had. But for now lets assume that he is not a plonker and has experience and a network and he knows good football ( he did win the Champions League as a player). Lets also suppose he knows how a good club is run ( something that Fosun have no clue about …how could they?)
Now lets for a moment look beyond our world of second division humiliation and see if there are parallels elsewhere we could learn from?
I live close to San Francisco…a sports city with many claims to fame, not least their legendary 49ers. The 49ers won 5 Superbowls (out of 5) with classy, legendary quarterbacks, Joe Montana and Steve Young ,…and brilliant coaches… and sleazy owners. Then they went bad….for many, many years. Then they finally hired a good coach and he got them to the Superbowl…again. But they lost on the last play. Then they got hacked off with the good coach and he left and the guy who has been recruiting the team squad( I know, its weird but the coach didn’t get much say in the draft picks) gets found out as a jerk….none of his recruits are any good. Then they hire another coach…who may or not be OK,,,a bit controversial in his strategies. But the new owners say they have turned a corner and this once legendary franchise is on its way back.
They won the first game of the season…. and have lost the next ELEVEN GAMES.
What’s my point? Well, there are many parallels here I think …crappy owners can be OK if they put a really good coach in place and stay out of the way. You need stars on your team to win big. In a recent radio interview with Steve Young ( one of the two great QB’s) he was asked what would he now do?
He said …”get everyone in the parking lot…from the fitness coaches to the cleaners …and ALL of the players. Then someone decides who can bring the skill, talent, experience and/or motivation that will significantly contribute to the team’s future success. They each get to come back inside, one at a time. Everyone else stays out in the parking lot and looks for another job.”
Its ruthless and its expensive but, as they say, you don’t make a silk purse from a sow’s ear.
We want a silk purse … Fosun can have no clue and clearly nor does the Portuguese agent they relied on. So PL is the one eyed man in the land of the blind and I’d say give him total control on all of those ‘parking lot’ decisions…no-one comes back into Moiineux unless they are up to it..only on his say so.
Why not trust him and see? We’re screwed if we leave things the same ,with mundane folk in too many positions on the squad , or supporting them…this is the time for a strong leader who can sort out who will be part of our future…give him three years at least and THEN decide if he was the right choice….spinning the wheel once more now is simply asking for another decade or two of despair.
I’ve supported this team for nearly 60 years..I was 7 when we last won the FA Cup
so I really really don’t need another decade or two ( my last on the planet, I guess) of despair.
My 2cents, as they say here.
You speak a deal of sense MW.
A GREAT deal of sense.
And I always admire a man who can spell the word ‘parallel’ correctly (twice).
But what’s this about ‘last decade on the planet’?
Are you jetting of to Mars?
I agree with your admiration of a man who spells ‘parallel’ correctly, but I would admire him more if his spelling of Molineux was also correct.
That said, I liked his post.
Sorry Brompton
I can spell Molineux…but against the black background i’s and l’s look the same … And spell check doesn’t have a clue on Molineux
Ok ..off to read Firest preview and reminisce about Peter Knowles’ last match
Marin,
Good stuff mate, but what worries me is, that George Saville may be the first one back inside from the Parking Lot, (see what I did there, I’m talking American, A Lot)
Your logic, Marin, is inescapable. The very definition of a ‘good’ owner is one who appoints a capable coach, provides the funds and then steps away out of the limelight and lets everyone get on with it.
I think Fosun could well be good owners. It’s just that they lack a bit of experience at the moment. I hope, and believe, that these early failures will open their ears to wiser council and that this window and, more importantly, the next, will see our fortunes begin to turn.
Sums it all up perfectly!
A sea breeze and flowers in my hair yes its way to early to write PL off.
Please, please get it right tomorrow lads as you will never know what this fixture means to the male half of Newark Wolves. I was born in Nottingham in 1965 and have lived and worked in Nottinghamshire for 51 years. Some of you bloggers know why I support Wolves and if you don’t it is because I was a fat kid ! (work that one out). My first 3 Wolves games were Forest away in 1978,79 & 80 and then it was the big one – the 1980 League Cup Final. I went with my brother-in-law and 3 of his mates who all supported Forest. What a day. I was in amongst the Forest fans and never had any bother at all. I even cried when Emlyn lifted the trophy. On the journey home I sat quietly in the car and just smiled. It was when I got back to Newark and the subsequent events that have made me hate that football club ever since. I turned up at school on the Monday morning proudly wearing my Wolves scarf only to be kicked, punched and spat at by lads I had been to school with for over 10 years. At one stage I had to barricade myself in a classroom. This carried on for the 4 months until I left school. Prior to this, as a child, I was walking past a pub and on seeing my Wolves scarf three grown men in Forest shirts threw and spat beer over me. I was also punched in the town centre again by a grown man who turned out to be one of their “main boys”.As I started attending games more often I was attacked in the subway in Nottingham by 15 Forest fans – 13 of which came from Newark and knew me. I was beaten on other occasions in both shopping centres in Nottingham and outside the shitty ground, a grown man (who knew me) told his little boy to punch me because I was a Wolves fan – which he did. On attending an FA Cup tie with my first wife a Forest fan recognised me and attacked me in the seats. I can recall seven other incidents involving Forest fans and even now in my 50’s people will see me in Newark and call me “the wan*y wanderer”. Even the postman who delivers mail to my wifes school and gets on great with her ignores her when she is with me because, yes, you guessed it, he supports Forest. So that bloggers is why I hate NFFC with a vengeance. If anyone near Row K Seat 0107 in the away end on Saturday sees some bloke going barmy when (if) Wolves score you know why.
And by the way, has anyone else bought tickets for Sheffield Wednesday away ? £75.00 for two bloody tickets !!!!!!!
Ian, give us the nod and we true Wolves fans will come over amd walk passed all the same kids by your side, I like a bit of payback for bullies.
Wankers.
BOG if you can find time over Xmas to help me get my 2 and 3 year old lovely daughters to sleep.
They are both suffering with throaty coughs and one of your Wolves memory stories, will knock them out literally.
My husband is worried that such tripe could drive them to be Albion supporters one day.
Whilst your witterings may be exciting to yourself and Skinskull of Skegness in America, please think of other people.
From on Wanderers to another Wycombves Aaron Pierre.
Lamby could do with more inexperience to complement his incompetenbce.
Therefore, Wolves’ reported interest in Pierre, a 23-year-old without a single second tier appearance to his name, fits Lambert’s specifications.
Hey Numb Nuts, was that post meant for me because BOG didn’t write it, I did ?
Amanda Cape – Just a painful boil on the arse of life !!!!!!!
So you are admitting to it Nark and that after being bullied by your own citizens ?
Bog writes tripe like you then a pair if ever there was one.
Admitting to it ? it has got my name at the top of the post you tit. You are just like Jack The Twat on the Express & Star website, you are a sad, deluded Albion fan who has nothing better to do than comment on another clubs blog. THAT is very sad.
Don’t these Chinese talk to one another…?
You’d have thought that the Blue Nose’d one of ’em might have mentioned to Jeff that Gary Rowett would be on the market pretty soon! It narks me that we (had to?) choose from a pool of out-of-work-failures instead of going and getting a successful, aggressive, target-driven manager, who can work with and fashion a result from whatever dross might be on the books at the point of his appointment and gradually build a promotion winning team without having to buy every last (available…see the connection) player currently warming the bench of whatever team has found them surplus to requirements.
I feel like I’m living in a parallel universe. We must be the only team in the history of mankind to squander not only the good will and wealth of Sir Jack, but now potentially the even richer Fosun group….Unbelievable…..Un-bloody-believable!
