Something good to say, something good to say, hmm…

Well, none of the bottom four won on Saturday, so the gap between Wolves and the relegation zone remains 14 points with another game ticked off the list.
I think that has to be considered a positive.
We were relegated with 51 points in 2013 and although that was a ridiculously high total to drop with, I’ll still feel better when we’ve surpassed a half century this term.
Looking at what’s left, this could be one of the better fixtures for us.
Brentford
The Bees are a club in transition and like Wolves, that’s partly of their own volition. After what was another highly successful season last time out, they cleared the decks and started again.
The manager went, their biggest names departed and the chairman’s experimental ideas continued unabated.
I’m watching with interest to see how Dean Smith gets on. He seemed to be picking up where Lee Carsley left off in his short and sweet tenure in charge, which saw Brentford climb the table.
But things have gone tits up lately, with three heavy defeats on the bounce and just two wins in ten, which has curtailed any play-off hopes.
They’ll see this as an opportunity to steady the ship, and I’m sure the former Walsall boss would love to get one over a former local adversary.
Wolves
It’s team selection roulette again for Kenny Jackett after another eleven were on the wrong side of the scoreline at Huddersfield. This would be my starting lineup:

We’ve tried all out defence, so why not have a crack at all out attack? Play two out and out wingers, play two forwards and play your most technically gifted midfield duo.
Although I was steadfast in defending the head coach at the weekend, the one thing I can’t argue with is the disappointment that he appears to have abandoned the passing principles that have made his Wolves teams successful.
Given our current plight the performance should enter the equation. Results are going to be patchy so lets at least see some decent football.
The gaffer
Predictions
We’ll most likely lose, but I’ll back us to get a point as I don’t fancy coming into the Derby game on Saturday on the back of three straight defeats.
In the above video, Kenny seemed impressed with what his team did off the ball at Huddersfield, which I suppose is a part of the game most supporters neglect to assess.
He’ll likely keep faith with a narrower midfield to accommodate his two forwards and I hope for his sake it delivers a result, because he could do with one.
1-1
Up The Wolves!

well done mustering up the energy to do a preview Thomas.
like a house thats been on rightmove for years, we sit with a weathered for sale sign, with the owner having long since completed on his new property, the estate agent J Moxey has already been paid his cut and is out back counting his money … the superintendant is desperately trying to get himself sacked and the poor tenants are left hanging in limbo waiting for the gas company to cut the supply.
£7mil was it for Bolton ? And they at least held on to their “best” player … with Morgie Baby holding on for 30 this situation aint sorting outself out any time soon.
prediction – nah.
A wonderful analogy.
McDonald and Price surely have to start. And an attacking mentality would be a welcome change, but I reckon Kenny will confuse everybody again. For me I’ve given up on this season. Losing all the talent we had last year, as well as the injuries to key new players of late, has ripped the heart out of the side. I’d love to see some of the youngsters given a go as soon as we reach, hopefully, 52 points.
I’m not sure I would play McD and Price with two out and out wingers. There is a danger we could get overrun / no one to really protect the centre backs. I think Sigurdarson and Mason have to play and McD needs to be there to create the opportunities. They may not be a “good thing to say” but are probably the closest we have to it.
I fancy us to win with these three together. The goals have to come sooner rather than later. It’s pretty much doom and gloom at the moment but maybe a spark of something like light tonight.
What is there to say – the season departed with Stearman and Nouha injury.
A brief respite departed with Benik and Graham injury.
Whether I attend from now until the end of season is very debatable, whether I renew season ticket even more so.
Sacking Jackett is not the answer.
All one can do is see out this mediocrity and hope that the influx of returning players from injury (above mentioned) + Zyro/Williamson can re-boot our beloved team next season.
What a sorry state of affairs.
Hate to be so negative, but can’t see us winning this one. I think they”ll out pass us in midfield.
I’ll be there tonight to give RVLP some real stick for his heinous tweet about us supporters – pity he can’t produce more than 2 passable (sic) performances a season, in which case I’d warm to him. However, as KJ insists on playing him despite no end product, our Rajiv has nothing to worry about, does he?
Prove me wrong tonight lads!
COMBs!
Well, with the pathetic possession stats, there’s no way I’m predicting a clean sheet.
Don’t know who I would bet on to score for us, but I live in hope.
Agree with your formation.
I’d love to see us return to a passing/attacking brand of football. I think as a coach Jackett should continue with this ethos and force the players to do it. Insisting they play deep and hoof it up the pitch is a backwards step he should never have encouraged.
Price and KMAC should be in this team. How Coady/Saville/Rowe are getting in ahead of them is worrying.
I’d like to see us go for it and bring in Byrne on the wing also. If we’re going to lose every week, at least do it in style and play exciting football.
Until we get a new owner I can’t see us going anywhere, just hope we don’t go down which is a real cause for concern if not this season then next.
What pisses me off more than anything is not doing what you are paid to do.
From the slimy ceo down, everyone at the club is underperforming, yet still picking up better money than most of us have ever seen.
If I ran my business the same way and treated my customers with such disrespect, I would soon be in the poorhouse.
Football is a simple game, not rocket science by any means, and lets face it, most of us can see the problems with the players and more importantly, we can also see the solutions.
If we can, why cannot our esteemed “head coach”?
Value for money, that is a minimum prerequisite.
If they were seen to be trying on the pitch, and if the coach was seen to be trying, and adapting to changing circumstances as the games evolve, and still the results didnt improve, at least they would get kudos for trying. But to not try, stand like a statue, and then repeat the same old trite bollocks, week in week out……
No, all respect is out of the window, and vlp can rot in the stiffs for all I care.
In response to the comment on the previous blog by someblokeontinterweb, if Bully were playing now, he would struggle a bit with his fitness and his knees, he is after all over 50, but would still be a vast improvement over the current lot!
I have sacrificed a chicken, its pissing down with rain, so the dogs are going to finally look favorably on my prediction and Brentford will be put to the sword tonight 5-1
Still loffing at the shit fans who paid Brunt what he is worth in coins at the weekend!
FOwb
What will Kenny the Tinkerer come up with now?
Can’t see us winning but can’t tip against us so going for a bore draw.
Either McDonald or Price (or maybe even both) need to play.
I just can’t see us scoring at the moment. Or for the foreseeable future.
I think everything’s is going to be ok
An unexpected clean sheet tonight and a couple of individual goals thank you.
KJ’s 2nd half substitution tonight will be just what the doctor ordered, a pleasant tonic.
Kj looking for a strong finish to the season! So all good then. Brentford 0 wolves 0
Rajiv Vanden Plas.
I have renamed him because he reminds me of an old British Leyland car marque.
A luxury badge stuck randomly on a jerry built bit of machinery that’s as reliable as a chocolate teapot.
And it often spouts noxious gases from its exhaust pipe.
I will be interested to see how he reacts if he is targeted by the Wolves supporters.
I see a Jamie O’Hara/Roger Johnson scenario looming.
Which might not be a bad thing because there was talk about a new contract for him a couple of weeks ago.
New contract? Come on!
Unless it’s on a vastly reduced wage packet.
I’d sooner have Clive playing on the wing than him. He’d give it 100% and wouldn’t fall over half so much.
It’s been proven that players with that attitude drag a football club down.
And we don’t need that, do we.
As far as the match tonight goes, it seems from the very brief highlights on offer that we did carve out a few chances against the Udders and gave it a bit of a go, so I have decided to half fill my glass and predict a first win in ages.
Don’t let me down lads.
You haven’t seen me when I’m angry.
We have to win again eventually. Price and McDonald to start.
I’ll be heading to the game tonight full of man flu and hope. With so many injuries and key players now gone from the squad its been a frustrating season. Hoping today the squad can actually find the net and play with any sort of rhythm.
I’d like to re-word the numpties tweet……
Useless last week…. Useless the week before…..useless the time before that….useless most of the time he got on the pitch……BUT STILL GOT PAID!!!!
A disgrace to the club and fans. You are the weakest link …. GOODBYE
As for tonight I really think we’ll pull off a shock…at least to me….
Oh well … Back to the ward…..?
Such a stupid little boy………..I reckon he has had 2 maybe 3 reasonable games in Wolves colours. If he gets 5k/week or 250k/year after the taxman hits him brings in say 140K/annum – yet has the naivety (read stupidity) to tweet that to the paying fans.
I wonder what the greats of yester-year would think. Those that were proud to wear the gold and black, perhaps he should be made to talk to the likes of Mick Bailey/Jody Craddock/Paul Ince etc or better still made to go and polish the statue Billy Wright.
Some years ago Pierre Van Hooijdonk went on strike at Notts. Forest. I was talking about this with a Dutch friend who remarked ‘There’s nothing as arrogant as a Dutch footballer’. Seems he knew his countrymen.
As for tonight, I don’t see us suddenly reverting to playing nice, passing out from the back and through midfield football, so lets just nick it on the counter.
Should just about be able to snatch defeat late in the game
A surprise victory to warm the hands of the travelling army.
We are going to hammer the Bees and with style. What makes me say this I hear you ask?
The answer is I am completely hatstand i.e bonkers/crazy/not he full shilling………
I am as mixed up as this league is……………

But the story that these lovers are telling, and the fact that they all saw and heard exactly the same things, make me think there’s more going on here than imaginary fantasies. Their story is bizarre and astounding, but it’s solid and consistent.
Ha ha ha Priceless Colin (like our midfield).
I just hope there aren’t 11 players with Wolves shirts and donkey heads on the pitch at the end of the game.
O grim-look’d night! O night with hue so black!
O night, which ever art when day is not!
O night, O night! alack, alack, alack,
Happy chappies arn’t we.!!
.some of us would feel better if ‘Mr oblivious’ plays K Mac..me included .,how can we not play our best guy?
Williamson is still out for sometime I hear which is a genuine piss off for me particularly as I’m such a fan of DB and EEL at the moment..
That just leaves Mason who still looks good ..so the pressures on him to score a hat trick here, that is if he gets a chance with the ball..
With super media star RVLP lining up to get verbally abused by our lot I’m not sure how many chances he’s going to get..
Stinks of a draw being positive..
Still, wish I was there as its in my patch but it ain’t to be..
Just 12 wins to go..
COYW
Thomas, if we HAVE to look at a picture, at the beginning of this blog, of the ultimate non footballer Ward, can you at least send me some of what Colin is taking?
Who knows where the wheel will stop when Kenny spins it to see which formation he is going to use. Maybe he is out to P*** everybody off. No faith at all in this management. I used to be so optimistic.
I’m playing my Conspiracy theory card tonight and going for 0-3 to Brentfordwoodshire.
We have a Coach (without the Boards backing) who will definitely tinker again
We have a team who will produce a stinker again
We have a CEO who’s like a Tinker again (Posh spake for Pikey)
We have an ex-owner who’s arse deserves a Clinker again.
I shall be there with JerryD, my glass is half full as I expect we shall get turned over big style,
so I’m being really optimistic at 3-0 against.
Jackett has gone to press today saying we’re going on a run, he’s the man for the job, There was an emergency Board Meeting yesterday and Kenny has gone on record as saying,” He DOES NOT have the backing of the board”, now that’s what I call a happy Ship.
A certain consortium were at Compton on Friday afternoon ( confirmed by a few sources including an ex-players son), and a Certain ex-Player is in talks to take the helm until the end of the season, but is holding out for a fixed contract for 18 months to 2 years.
So Kenny. Anything other than a win tonight and I think a row of dominoes are going to be cascading over and some may rain down on your head.
Can anyone else seriously see us beating a Brenford side with our current shower of shite, not me.
You know what, There will be no-one happier should that happen, but I won’t hold my breath.
Clive talk to you later, hope I can send some positivity your way, it must be terrible living somewhere where it rains almost three tines a year, how do you cope buddy, I bet the Cactus plants hate it.
BardWolf,
Lovely gesture mate, what a star.
Hit the £1000 guys.
Thanks again.
StuWolf
Congratulations on the £1,000. Well done!
Well done Stuart ! 🙂
In the words of one of the bloggers long since forgotten.
This team of ours, “Are quite capable of snatching Defeat from the jaws of Victory”
I make no claim to this.
🙂
Come on lads – surprise me!!!
Carnt see anything other than a loss.Jackett again in his pre match interview banging on about how he is happy with our performances of late, well that will be no comfort when we are relegated I can just see the blogs from Jacketts supporters, well yes we have been relegated but on the positive we put in some great performances which will help us get out of League One after all Kennys done it before.
RESULTS Kenny ever heard the terms ” win ugly ” and ” grind out results ” I couldn’t give a shit if we played like Barcalona what’s the point if after 90 minutes our more you’ve lost the gamer.
Sick of Kennys same old sound bites, excuses.
I was apahetic, now I can’t give a shit.
Oh and RVP should NEVER play for Wolves again…….! Abuse is not nice BUT he gets well paid more than well payed and bragging about it espeailly when his performances have been shit is well out of order.
Sorry to do this but ……………………………
Fair play to Thomas for trying to inject a positive slant in what has been a diabolical campaign by pointing out that despite the defeat at Huddersfield we are still 14 points clear of the dreaded relegation zone.
I have been a staunch supporter of Kenny Jackett from day one but I have to say patience is wearing a little thin right now. In McDonald we have only one midfielder with a creative footballing brain and the ability to generate opportunities but thanks to a training ground spat, in a fit of pique the manager sticks him on the bench for two games and does not have the common sense to introduce him when when we are crying out for some inventiveness.
Conspiracy theorists reckon he is being pig headed on purpose to try and engineer his dismissal and a pay off. I am not sure I go along with that but it makes you wonder!!
Alongside him Price just has to figure. (I still wonder why Evans was shipped out to Bradford City on loan. I fully understand he is not the most popular figure on various Wolves sites but surely to god he is a whole lot better than the midfielders Jackett has been chucking in lately).
Another head scratching moment applies to Williamson. I heard he was in line for a recall tonight but seemingly this is not now the case. According to the Express and Dingle he will be out for “at least another two games” (Brentford and Derby) and maybe for the trip to Middlesbrough. Please don’t tell me we have acquired a long-term crock!! Ain’t we been down this road before?
Jackett has expressed “surprise” at how long the injury is taking to clear up. Perhaps a word in the shell like of the medical staff (assuming he had a medical prior to putting pen to paper) may enlighten you Kenny mboy….or perhaps the medical staff are about as competent as the two clowns “running” the show down WV1.
Anyway regarding Brentford, if we change things around a bit and as Thomas suggests “try an attacking approach” ( you know Kenny sometimes it works) we could actually wring something out of the game.
On that basis and bearing in mind surely we cannot be as crap yet again (can we?) I go for a 2 – 1 victory.
Finally to cheer you all up herewith a photograph of Molineux taken circa 1956 and a full house – around 55,000. Evocative or what!!
Have a great evening those who are travelling tonight.
BOG
Oh yes nearly forgot – VLP. Another one in the long list of footballers who simply have no brains. Just like our old mate Lescott posing with a car that cost £120k days after he was a member of a Villa defence that shipped 6 goals v Liverpool. Have that all taken leave of their collective senses? No self respect? No shame?
Wankers all….
Don’t know why everyone is so negative on here but I guess its probably because you Wolves fans are a bit dim in which case let me sell, oops sorry meant spell, it out for you.
We will spare no expense to replace Sako, we only sold Stearman for footballing reasons, we will not be selling Afobe and will instead build a team around him, and anyway we have replaced Afobe even though I just said we wouldn’t be selling him as we have signed Zyro even though we wanted to sign him last Summer before we sold Afobe, who I said we wouldn’t sell, as a replacement for Sako but we couldn’t afford him back then even though, as you may recall, I said we would spare no expense in replacing the aforementioned Sako – draws breath – and we are all focussed on promotion, the board are 100% behind Kenny (some with knives, some with pickaxe handles), Steve Morgan is a lovely chap who has dedicated his life to the Club and wants to ensure his legacy is maintained for future generations, Kevin Thelwell is a fantastic player recruitment officer (we signed Williamson from Newcastle for a hefty old fee equivalent to almost one week’s wages for Wayne Rooney didn’t we and he will be fit to play for us by no later than August) and contrary to opinions on here everything is lovely and the Club is geared up for promotion, winning the Grand National, the Eurovision Song Contest and just about everything else in fact. Hell we are so fantasticly positioned right now we might even win the Referendum on 23 June!
So come on now stop all this beefing and support the boys tonight as they try for the 2 points. Whichever players don the tangerine and black uniform, even if it is Robin Van Morrison, lets cheer them on for the full 70 minutes. Hopefully the umpire will be favourable towards us when its our turn to bat or bully off or ……what’s it called again? football? And if things take a turn for the worst tonight you can always console yourselves with a pie or two. I know I will.
Yours (not at all) sincerely, Jez Moxey, CEO,
P.S. don’t forget your early bird tickets people – you know it makes sense and besides my fabulous new luxury mansion in The Hamptons in the good old USA won’t furnish itself you know.
More out of hope than expectation but you never know, miracles may happen!
Couldn’t care less whether they win or lose to be honest but just when you thought it couldn’t get any worse wait until tonight
1st London league game in a very very long time that I can’t muster up the energy to attend. Have totally fallen out of love with the current shambles of the club and the season ticket will get only 2 or 3 outings now although that’s mainly down to Moxey selling us to Sky every other weekend. Actually don’t give a **** what the score is tonight, but we’ll most likely win as we’re that bad. Given there’s been no “injury update” telling us what has happened to McDonald I suspect he’s simply as ****ed off as I am and he’ll be gone in the Summer. I’ll be pleased I didn’t renew my season ticket as a result.
I suggest next home game on 10 minutes everyone turn there back on the directors box for 1 minute in protest, Villa fans planning a walk out on 74 minutes.
I already sit with my back to the directors box !
Does that mean I would need to turn and face them ??
I couldn’t handle that I might get banned by my gestures…
For my sins l,ll be there tonight, fully expecting a low intensity low energy devoid of tactics game like the last time we played here. But having said that with Kenny facing a possible 9 game winless run, which normally means a sacking for any coach at any club, this game would be his best chance of a win.l will save my views for match postmortem that’s if l could be bothered.
Siggy scores his first wolves goal for the season.
Akin to the scenario of an infinite number of monkeys eventually typing King Lear it must be possible that this Wolves team can produce a repiica of the brilliant win during our season in the Third Division two years back ( I know I’ve missed out the bit about playing an infinite number of times against Brentford …but God help us)
We were greeted by taunts that BRENTFORD were ‘top of the league’..and we left them singing that
WE were top of the league…and never looked back.
So, somehow, please ..cheer us all up with a repeat result
One thing I remembered from the Huddersfield game last season was how cold it was, but the scoreline of 4-1 with Afobe, Dicko and van Parra ( in one of his few good games) causing mayhem, warmed my spirits.
Didn`t know the score from Saturdays game until Monday morning, and it was no great surprise to see the 1-0 defeat, shows how far we have fallen this season. Just back from a long weekend in Berlin, where my wonderful wife booked the trip around the soccer game at the Olympicstadion to watcn Herta BSC v Wolfsberg. Pity they play in white and green, but sat as we were amongst the away fans I was able to contribute a few `come on you wolves` during the game.
What a fantastic stadium, full of history, and a good Bundsliga match as well. Not sure whether it was good fortune or planning that the weekend was one where wolves were away, there was no six nations rugby to miss, but it was the coldest weather at any soccer game I`ve attended.
As for tonite, I would like us to win, but as with others – indifference rules, hope its a win for the fans attending, so come on you Wolfsberg to my fellow bloogers!!
As mentioned on WM last night, the team that played Brentford 2 years ago in League 1 were much better than the 11 who started last Saturday.
Worrying times
I love it when someone says that his team were great off the ball.
Cos when I played football I was brilliant off the ball. Chatting to my mates on the touchline, eyeing the girls, dreaming of what I would do when the ball came to my feet.
Trouble was – when I did get the ball at my feet I was crap.
My Manager didn’t understand.
Now if I had played for Kenny….
Any bloggers in the new inn ?
I’m sitting on the windowsill under the TV s wording that van la para might not get paid tonight
Not wording … Worrying
Staying positive with a forecast win for Wolves.
Attacking line up with KMac back in. Let’s be positive ….again
K Mac, Byrne and house starting. Blind optimism rules. If we lose tonight, I’m not gonna predict a win for the rest of the season!!!!!
RVLP what a nonce !!!
I see Hackett has tinkered again ,trying to find that magic formula, for his sake and most of all the traveling
Fans I hope it pays dividends.UTW
I hope the van man scores or Siggy.. or both..
They played us off the park at Molineux. A similar performance and we’ll lose, badly! Hope I’m wrong.
Brentford 3-0 Wolves
It’s been coming for weeks. And RVLP has said sorry. So it is all good. We actually went down on 54 points in 2013 which was a record high for relegation. As was78 points a record high NOT to get in play offs. Question is this : do we as Wolves fans accept RVLP apology ? If not what sanction would you like to see applied against him next ? Luckily for us the bottom 3 in this league appear to be adrift. Will they get anywhere near 50 points? I doubt it as it will mean virtually doubling their points tally. I still haven’t renewed early bird but probably will because I always think that if I don’t it will just be my luck that Ringo Starr or summat will buy us and invest 3 billion quid in players. What usually happens is we are shit and end up nowhere or in League 1. But hey ! Wolves ay we. Always am. Always will be.
That’s f**ckin blown it. Oh well. 17-1.
R v p is the least of our problems . K Mac may as well be on his own and the back 4 seem to have nodded off after 20 mins .
Even the faithful singing ‘we might be shit but we still get paid ‘ has failed to wake any of them .
Doesn’t look good
I think that is probably it for Kenny. With Derby and Boro the next two games that is no points. I think we need another 4 wins to be safe and a new manager often gets a “bounce’ in results that would get us over the line.
Question is who is available and more importantly would come with the club in the state it is in?
Thanks Kenny, you gave us some good times. Get out now before it turns even more toxic. I would like to think that by going now you will get a good reception should you come back in the future with another club.
What a feckin mess!
Oh my giddy aunt!,, Old fashioned way of saying oh fuck. First time i have said this, but I agree with a few fellow bloggers and believe that jacket should sack it (see what I did there?). We may be fortunate enough to not be relegated, but that is all we can look forward to this season. Can’t wait for a buyer, a new manager, a better squad and a new season as this one is over for me. I will still be going to last home game of season though. How many bloggers are intending to meet up for our annual gathering?
Tried to cancel APV booking …. but they said I had to grin and bear it and watch a bunch of tossers regardless of it being a nothing to play for game.
So I’m going to use the opportunity to meet some great fans far and wide ( no not Clive’s waisline) AND GIVE POXEY AND ALL THE OTHER USELESS WELL PAID PRATS A PUECE OF MY HUMBLE MIND … ?
Me and BOG planning on being there I think. With the last game being a 12.30 kick off presumably it’ll be after the match?
Not been this depressed since the Summer of 1986.
Was going to say a lot more but just too down to do so.
Be interested to hear from those who went to the game.
Some people never see the obvious until the obvious comes and slaps them all in the face…
Taxi for Kenny, Kevin, Jez and Steve…
A mate of mine just said its the worst he’s seen wolves play in 50 years, and he goes home and away.
Enough said ,if Jackets got any dignity he will walk.
With Derby Middlesbrough and the blouses can’t see us getting any points soon.
Jacket off, Jack it off. Jacket off, Jack it off.
Morgan threw the towel in when he realised KJ was never going to get promotion on the cheap. It is now a total mess probably one of the worst teams in the division. Kenny hasnt helped himself. Whatever happened previously this season he has been bewilderingly poor in almost every respect of man management. One silver lining Morgan wont get the money he wants.
I’d love to give you a million likes for the last comment Colin … the Money Grabbing Git from next to Carden Park….
More tinkering how many games now and Jackett STILL…..carnt find his best formation and personnel yes we’ve had injurys but chopping and changing every game leaving your best players on the bench the ones that are left and playing wankers like RVP……..well this is the result Kenny.
You’ve sunk to a new low in my eyes you’ve no spine no dignity for yourself or the fans and no balls if you had you’d resign and to those who say we be worse off ………how Dreby Boro coming up ill ask you again after 2 more defeats .
KJ post match interview ..a man through the ringer..stating the obvious yet again..I think due to his contract he needs to be sacked ..
Not sure if can afford to walk ..feel sorry for him..whole season now sacrificed ..
Come on down #^#^#^#* whoever you are …we need you…
I will be at the Bloggers Ball for the last match of the season for several reasons.
To meet up with some very good friends.
To see my folks whilst in Wolvo.
To enjoy some fish nchips and porkie pie.
Because my hotel and airfares are non refundable!!!
FOwb
Brilliant. See you there mate. I will travel down and stay overnight on the Friday, so I can get shit faced like you all did last time.
Only two people got clapped off the pitch tonight.
Carl Ikeme, Only because he had the bottle to go right up to the fans and applaud them.
Kevin McDonald, same reason but genuinely hurting and totally pissed off with his team mates. who incidentally couldn’t kick my granny’s arse if she stood standing still on her own by herself up an alley with a pole up her back to keep her upright.
But, the true Wolves fans through and through that we are, the journey home on the bus was the funniest 2 hours I’ve spent in a good few years. Feck the result let’s just wallow in the Glorious defeat, after all we’re British aren’t we?
A thought to send a shiver down your spine, we’re on the TV for the next two games, now the rest of the Country can take the Piss out of us as well, why should we be the only one’s to suffer.
If some of you don’t want Jackett to go, Moxey can’t go as he is entrenched in his ivory tower, Morgan don’t know when to go, Thelwell wouldn’t know how to go, Gallen would only go if Kenny told him to and the Board, well they’re too scared to go to the bog without permission. Then for Pity’s sake, let’s sack the feckin cleaner but let’s have some closure to this bunch of Ne’r do wells called management.
Roll on the summer, Roll on the Blogger’s ball.
🙂
Positives – Macdonald & Hause played well. Williamson, Zyro, Jordan Graham & Dicko to come back in to this side. Ikeme is a very good keeper.
Negatives – Jack Price & Iorfa not playing. Why?
No target man to hold the ball up.
After the Twitter storm and poor performances lately why pick VLP? He has to go.
This is not all KJs fault. He is working with his hands tied behind his back but he needs some results quickly or Rudolph and the Pie Man will scapegoat him.
How much did we need and do we need Goldbourne, Stears, Afobe & Sako?
Time to blood some of the youngsters. We are not going to get relegated. The bottom 3 are not going to nearly double their current points haul in last 14 games.
We need to look to next season. We desperately need new owners. Sorry but I can’t put the blame solely at KJs door. Yes, he should be playing Price & Macdonald together but he’s having to pick from 3rd & 4th division players largely. Every time he gets a talented player he’s sold. What other manager would come to Wolves now and definitely be better. What manager of any intelligence would work for Rudloph & Pie Man?
Back Jackett. Sack VLP. Morgan – sell this club quickly to someone who cares and will invest in the first team.
I disagree with some of you comments. Goldborne said that he was restricted in going forward by Jacket. If you look at how effective Iorfa used to be. He used to run up the right flank and do some serious damge. He no longer does that. I assume therefore that Golborne was right – Jacket is stifling our players. Time to go I think.
A new manager suggestion: We need an ex player who knows how good and bad wolves fans can be someone who needs to prove themselves a success at Wolves. Someone who may be the final piece of any Jigsaw..
I give you:
Thomas Frankowski
Nice try ! Kj will be replaced by none other than………………TC !!!! 🙂
Not sure i am bothered wether we change managers now or not. However much as i like some of them i think Kenny’s unflinching admirers are delusional. If the players he has had at his disposal over the last 12 months were that bad per se we wouldnt be sitting in mid table. As for having his hands tied he couldnt have done much worse if Moxey was sitting on his face.
This is what you get when you have weak, disinterested, pathetic, timid, unambitious, money grabbing non-footballing liars like Morgan and Moxey running – or in fact ruining – our club. Coupled with a manager out of his depth anywhere above mid-table in the Championship and an incompetent player recruitment person in Thelwell and the outcome is the atrocious tosh we are now having to suffer.
When you let Sako leave and lie that you will spare no expense in replacing him and then don’t this is what you get.
When you sell your ONLY experienced defender and lie that it was for footballing reasons and then wait 5 months to replace him – and then replace him with someone so unfit he still hasn’t played – this is what you get.
When you sell your top scorer for £10m having lied that you wouldn’t sell him but instead would build a team around him and then don’t spend the money replacing him and in fact don’t sign any strikers to replace him this is what you get.
When you won’t pay the going rate for players either in terms of transfer fees or wages and so end up selling the family’s valuable silver and replacing it with cheap, plastic imitations from Poundland this is what you get.
When you weaken the manager’s position so much by all of the above that he now resembles a headless chicken without a clue what he is doing in terms of tactics, team selection, game management etc this is what you get.
This is a tragedy being played out before our eyes. Enough is enough. Morgan, Moxey, Thelwell and Jackett are so incompetent it beggars belief. Those at the top are an absolute disgrace and must go and go quickly. The contempt with which those odious little men hold us the fans is matched only by my heartfelt hatred and loathing for them. After 56 years of supporting our club, including all the dark days in the 1980’s this feels worse than anything.
Please, please, please let there be new owners out there somewhere and soon – people who have vision and ambition, people who understand football and financial management, people with honesty and integrity. In fact the exact opposite of what the current rabble are
