A final update on the Bloggers Ballbash on Saturday 6th May and Sunday 7th May.
Daytime Activity
Whilst we are gathering in A Park View Hotel on the Saturday 6th I am aware that some of you bloggers may not intend to arrive until Sunday to take in the match. We will still be there in the morning prior to leaving to meet the 12.00 kick off, so please pop in for a quick pint or coffee or whatever on the Sunday if you wish. It will be great to see you all.
Saturday is purely to get as many of us together as possible and if past gatherings are anything to go by I am sure you will all enjoy a good day, even if you intend to be there for just a short time, or if you intend to “hang one on”.
Come along and get involved. Many discussions on the Blog have been interesting to say the least and this season has not been what we expected or wanted – it would be great to discuss your views in person.
Evening Meal
I have received all menu choices and confirmed these with Sat at APV. She is looking forward to receiving us and has ordered in the Limoncello.
We have a total of 27 diners as shown:
Mark G Davies rxprednisone.com & Rona Davies
StuWolf & Jenny
Steve and Lyn Daley
Willie and Tess Carr
Phil Parkes
Mike & Trish Bird
Bedford Wolf
Bedford Old Gold
Brompton Wolf
Twixfix and Lilian
The DOOGooder and Sue
Witley Wanderer & Shaun
Clive from Houston
Exiled Wolf & Barbara
London Wolves Loyal & Elaine
Wolfstroker & Jayney
Sat has advised me that any food cancelled with less than 72 hours’ notice would be fully charged. Should any guest be unable to attend, please let me know and I can advise Sat accordingly. All meal charges will be placed on resident’s room bills, less those non- residents who will be asked to clear their bill that evening.
We now have the entire main dining area to ourselves. There is no set formal seating plan but I will provide you all with name cards when you sit down, the reverse of which will show the meal you have chosen. It is also intended to provide you all with some light entertainment, courtesy of theDOOGooder and Bedford Wolf which I am sure you will all enjoy.
The “dress code” for the evening meal will be smart casual.
Everything is now sorted and I look forward to seeing you all over that weekend. Come along and enjoy the day.
Brompton Wolf

Shame on me also not to mention also Stuwolf for his sterling work in securing the likes of Steve Daley, Little Willie and Big Phil for the night …. see you there mate ….
I think an even bigger thank you to Chalkie for agreeing to pay for everyone, in advance!!
Are you back yet, Twixxo?
Yes late Tuesday night ….but my body is still in Tomorrows world…. I’m Jet lagged ….
Get yourself down to ‘Twixfix Mansions’ on the way down to Wolverhampton…
Chalkie can’t make it Clive. He’s been banned don’t forget. See you Friday night mate (no not tomorrow).
Serves you right, Twixxo, for abandoning our team in their hour of need
Wish I could be there … bit of a long commute for me alas! 🙂
Have a great time all. (Wow! Can’t believe you’ve got Carr, Daley and Parkes going!)
Thanks to Thomas, Ben, Rasmin for all the blogs; one day, I’ll buy you a drink :-). But I need to get myself over there first (unless you guys ever happen to be visiting SoCal).
Go Wolves!
Me and Clive will be there June 2018 on a road trip, so we shall look you up, can’t be that difficult to find a Wolves fan in SoCal, I bumped into a Stokie on my first trip, down by the Queen Mary in Los Angeles. Stokies, they get everywhere.
That would be awesome! Looking forward to that. Who knows who’ll be Wolves manager by then 🙂
Wolves manager in 2018!
Probably Clive?
Dog help the Albion when we play them, serves em right, stripey feckers….
Thanks also from me to Brompton for putting this together….and to Stu in getting Carr, Daley and Parkes to attend. I well recall that Carr free kick on the opening sequence of Match of the Day.
Looking forward to the Saturday evening (and the pre-match gathering on Sunday). Before then, I just need to put this pesky chest infection to bed.
Get yourself down on Saturday mate during the day. A few bevvies wi?l do your chest the world of good, plus it will get you in the mood for when the limoncello comes out in the evening.
Cheers mate. Barbara and I will probably get to APV around 4pm. So, plenty of time to take in some beers (medicinal, of course) before the evening’s festivities.
I am currently in bed inside London Zoo. It’s 10.48pm. Work that one out!
Looking forward to 6th May. For those of you who’ve not met BOG yet please remember when you do that he’s nothing to do with me!

Why?
Hello Brompton
Sorry that its rather late in the day with the bash almost upon us on Saturday evening but by any chance can you fit one more in please?
A good mate and ST holder is very keen to come along but only obtained “clearance” today if you get my drift..
His name is John Fyfe and lives near Wolverhampton so he is right on the doorstep.
I would be grateful if you could let me know as and when convenient.
My mobile number is 07792-260228 or email address uptonm.wolves@virgin.net or through the blog will be fine whichever is best for you.
Many thanks
BOG
We spoke mate. All should be fine. Let me know if any problems as I am going down tomorrow and will chat to Sat at APV.
