Hi everybody.
With the season’s end fast approaching and our last home match versus Everton on the horizon it’s time to reach out to you all and invite you to the ANNUAL BLOGGERS BALL.

It won’t be on the same scale as many of us have previously experienced, but it’s a great opportunity to put a face to a name and enjoy a spot of nosh and a drink together … the camaraderie is amazing .. it matters not what your points of view on the blog are … it’s a real coming together of like-minded Wolves fans.
We’re organising a meal at ROCCO’s Italian Restaurant in Darlington St Wolverhampton at 7:00pm on the evening of 20th May.
If you are interested in coming along then please let me know so that I can make the necessary arrangements on numbers.
My email address is oldfield23@btinternet.com and my mobile is 07999041574.
Many thanks all & UTW.
Mike (or Lord Twix to my followers..)
Great idea Mike, count me in mate.
I regret not taking more opportunities to connect with the group in person, particularly after Covid and the tragic loss of some of our friends in recent times. I look forward to catching up with everyone and raising a glass to Brompton (Steve) and Clive.
It will be great to see familiar and (hopefully) new faces. If you’re interested but hesitant, I encourage you to come along. You’ll be made to feel more than welcome.
Here’s to a great evening, hopefully spent toasting a decent sign-off at Molineux!
What a great photo of us Mike, it’s nice to see I’ve always been fat.
For those who don’t know me, I’m on the right with London Wolves Loyal on his knees in worship to the mighty Wolves.
Will check with the powers of be and be in touch Mike. Would be great to see everybody again.
I remember going to my first bash, feeling very apprehensive as I walked in, and being greeted by a complete stranger, who introduced himself as BOG, and ask me what I wanted to drink, he’s the big handsome guy in the middle front row.
What a great night we all had. Thanks for the memories and to Bedford Old Gold, star person.
Do your very best mate … you can book into the Novotel, as a season ticket holder for £85 including breakfast .. it’s a no brainier …
More than that .. it would be just great to see you again …. So soon after Leicester away .. xx
I’m not sure whether London Wolf is holding the table up or the Table is holding him up … it’s a great moment of both of you … brilliant…
Come on guys and gals ..
this is a fabulous opportunity to say hello (or bollox) to your blog colleagues…
It’s informal, jovial and if Marin wolf can manage a trip from San Francisco to join us .. it’s more than well worthy of an effort from you … so let’s get it on eh … you will, at the very least, say you were on the DOOGooder’s video .. who btw, is an absolute artist at taking videos of unsuspecting moments … I swear to God he hides the video recorder under his armpit ..
let’s have a good response lads and lasses …
As Thomas says, this could be the day to celebrate…
Put us down for two seats at the top table please your Lordship.
The PMDG’er will have Quails’ eggs, Larks’ tongues followed by fresh strawberries in cognac and aspic, accompanied by a bottle of Vintage Boly.
I’ll stick to the prawn cocktail, very well done steak and Black Forest Gateau sluiced down with several pints of brown and mild.
It’s all about the timing. I was searching the site last night to see if there was any info on the infamous bloggers ball and couldn’t find anything. So, ticketless and on a whim I booked flights into London and a train up to Wolverhampton for that weekend. Logon today and low and behold there it is so all being well I shall be joining you fellow long suffering good followers of the old gold for some pasta and fine German beer if they sell any.
Brilliant Norsk .. I’m taking it as a definite… just email me if you want any help … in addition let me know your German beer brand and I’ll go all out to sort it .. either way … you’ll be welcomed like a brother (or sister) .. just to cover the bases … great effort …
Hi Lord Twix, I did follow it up with an email so hopefully you will have received that. I’ve had a look on the menu and alas no Erdinger but I can always go right flanking with a Bulmers which they do sell. Looking forward to my first ball and putting Everton and Mr Dyche to the sword earlier in the day would be a good start….
Greetings, your Lordship, from Santa Clarita – about 30 miles north of Los Angeles.
Barbara and I met up with Marin Wolf in San Francisco on Sunday. He is looking forward to the Bloggers’ Ball, as are we, and catching up with everyone.
We’ll be back home on 12th May and will see you ahead of the big event (and the Everton match).
