What a novelty it is to be able to pick my own heroes. I’ve gone for Kightly, SEB and the controversial addition of Andrew Keogh as a cheeky (cheap) sub.
The best thing about SEB and Kightly is that they’re incredibly cheap so it gives you the dosh to invest elsewhere in the team. For example, with SEB at only £5.5 million, I’ve been able to splash out £11.5 million on Rooney. The same applies to Kightly at £5.5 million, giving me the resources to draft in good old Frank Lampard for £12.5 million.
Obviously, my mates who aren’t Wolves fans (I try not to have many of these) will find it hilarious that I’ve picked 3 players from a team that are more than likely to struggle to stay in the league. But I have every confidence that SEB and Kites can do the business. Admittedly, Keogh is for novelty value more than anything else.
So what Wolves players will you be picking in your fantasy football team this year?
* Following suggestions from Nick and Ed, I’ve created a Fantasy Football league for followers of this blog. It’s hosted at Fantasy Premier League so head over there, sign-up and create a team. Once you’ve done that you need to enter our league and the code you need to do that is 193183-51022.
Remember, if you’re already a member of Fantasy Premier League, you can join up to 15 leagues, so why not come and join ours.
I’ll come up with some kind of Wolves related prize for the winner.
